Question about Elena Roerich

Question: In the Summit Lighthouse, it was claimed that the children of Elizabeth and Mark Prophet are the reincarnation of famous public figures. Sean was King Solomon; Erin, the eldest daughter, was Mahatma Gandhi; Moya was John F. Kennedy; Tatiana was Elena Roerich. Is this really the case? And can souls with such high achievements in their previous lives, as for example, Elena Roerich, who was a messenger of the ascended masters, be incarnated in the next life in a completely different capacity, even the opposite of the previous one, or even descended to lower levels? What prevented Elena Roerich from making the ascension as her husband did? And does the mantle give an advantage to the messenger?

Well, we have explained before that the Summit Lighthouse was the last dispensation that we were allowed to bring forth in the Piscean Age. And therefore, there were certain things that were said through the Summit Lighthouse that had a specific purpose of challenging some of the things that people had not overcome during Pisces but that they were ideally meant to overcome.

For this purpose, there were certain things said that were not meant to be understood literally but they were given for another purpose. Now, you may say that this was deceptive. You could also say it was simply an adaptation to the consciousness of the people.

Now, if you look at the early days of the Summit Lighthouse, many people who are on staff or who were the more involved members of the organization were told about their past lifetimes. This means that if you look at this small group of people, there would have been between them many of the famous people from history.

The question is whether this was realistic. Of course, it was not, but there was a reason why these people needed to be given this test of thinking they had been these famous people from history. We have said before that by thinking you were a certain person from history, you have an opportunity to resolve a certain psychology that was outpictured by that person.

Many other famous people of history serve as a kind of archetype that illustrate certain types of psychology that many people have. There are people for whom the only way that they are willing to deal with that psychology is if they think they were actually that person in a past life. That is why some people were told this as an initiation on the path.

In terms of Elena Roerich and whether a messenger necessarily must ascend there is, of course, no natural law that says that a messenger must ascend. The mantle of a messenger is a great protection for the messenger and is also an opportunity for the messenger to grow but the messenger still has to be willing to grow. It is possible that if you have a husband and wife who are serving as messengers, then one of them might qualify for their ascension and the other may not.

This was the case with Nikolas and Elena Roerich. The reason why Elena Roerich did not qualify for her ascension was that there were certain aspects of her psychology that she was not able and willing to overcome in that lifetime. And therefore, she had to reembody again, and have those same initiations in a slightly different context.

You understand that the goal for any lifestream is the resolution of psychology. This is the primary qualification for the ascension, the resolution of psychology. If you have a lifestream that has been in a certain position but has not resolved his psychology, then it would not do that livestream much good to reincarnate under very similar circumstances. There need to be some similarities but not necessarily the same circumstances. This gives the livestream an opportunity to look at the psychology from a slightly different perspective and, therefore, hopefully makes it easier for the person to see what it is that he or she needs to overcome.

I would also say that, there is of course, no guarantee that because a person is selected as a messenger, that person will make their ascension, will make significant progress in that lifetime. It is possible for a person to regress, to go to a lower state of consciousness because nothing in the world is mechanical. This would be against the law of free will and the purpose of growth. If a messenger of the ascended masters was turned into a kind of robot, how would that serve as an example, for other people walking the path?

So, a messenger can therefore serve as an example, whether or not he or she grows or does not, they can still serve as an illustration of the path and what you all have to go through to walk the spiritual path, you all have to overcome psychology and there is no guarantee that anyone will do so. It is a voluntary individual decision.

New teachings on the cosmic clock?

Question: Will the cosmic clock teachings that were given through Elizabeth Profit be extended or added to?

We will not, through this dispensation, add onto or extend the previous teachings. I may at some point decide to release a teaching that parallels this but at a slightly higher level more in line with the other teachings we have given through this dispensation.

So, it will not be the same, and it will not be called the same, but it might have some of the same applications as the older teaching.

Guidance from the ascended masters after the 96 level

Question: You say that after crossing the 96 level of consciousness, the spiritual seeker will be left alone without help or guidance from the ascended masters. Please explain this point.

It is not correct to say that you have no guidance from the ascended masters, but what actually happens is that you come to a point where the guidance from ascended masters shifts, and you are not getting the same kind of guidance that you might have gotten before. We are sort of stepping back more and allowing you to make your own decisions, do your own experiences because this is part of Christhood, where you are evaluating from within what you want to do instead of having an external teacher who is telling you or giving you feedback.

So, there are certain periods on the path, and it is not only after the 96 level, but there is always a certain back and forth whereas, sometimes, we will give a person more direct guidance if the person is open to receiving it. But there also comes a point where, for a period of time, we must pull back and allow that person to walk on his own, to integrate the lessons learned, to make his own observations.

Then, perhaps at a later date, we can come back, give more guidance, and again, we might withdraw for a time. This is all an individual process that we conduct based on our experience with how to best help people. We apply this to each individual so that you get the guidance that is best for you.

Why the masters cannot do the work for you

Question: If God’s love is unconditional and the ascended masters only want to set us free, then why are there so many conditions on the way to our ascension? For example, it is necessary to give invocations for many years to transform energy, although with more assistance of the ascended masters, we could do this much faster. We are forced to take certain lessons for a long time and only in physical incarnation, which is quite difficult. At the same time, the current messenger does not provide personal counseling as Jesus used to do. Why are there so many restrictions and rules that are presented as a desire to provide us with some kind of work, setting ourselves free from negative images and decisions of the past, without which we might end up getting bored here on this planet? Why are there so many restrictions and requirements that are presented as a manifestation of the free will and desires of spiritual people in the incarnation, which the ascended masters, out of respect to free will, have to comply with?

Well, my beloved, if you are willing to take an honest look at the question and the mindset from which it is asked, then you have to say that this is a person who has not spent a lot of time studying our teachings, at least not as they were given in this dispensation. You have not truly studied what we have said about the spiritual path because what we have said is that all of the conditions that you have to fulfill in order to qualify for your ascension were created by yourself.

The energies that you have misqualified in many past lifetimes are the energies you need to transform by giving rosaries and invocations and decrees. The psychological selves that you have created as a result of choices you made in past lifetimes are the ones that you have to come to see and resolve in order for you to be free.

The reality of free will is simply that you can compare this to a maze: There is an entrance to the maze, and then, there are many twists and turns, but you are choosing whether to turn this way or that way every time you come to a fork in the road. This means that if you look at yourself from above, you can see that you have followed a certain path through the maze from your starting point to where you are now. How will you get back? By going back and reversing the decisions you made, tracing your steps back to the purity with which you descended.

How would you gain anything from us doing the work for you, setting you free from the misqualified energies? How could we possibly resolve the selves that you have created when they were created, made by your decisions and can only be uncreated by your decisions?

Then, of course, you can step even further back and say: “What is the purpose of life?”

The purpose of life is that you exercise your free will. You make decisions, you see the consequences of those decisions as physical circumstances or as emotional, mental and identity conditions in your three higher bodies, and you learn from that. But the purpose of life is not that you come to earth, make karma, the ascended masters take away that karma and then, you go back. The purpose of life is that you learn from making decisions, and seeing the results of your decisions, evaluating it, so you can raise your consciousness and make more aware decisions. Only you can do this.

It is not the purpose of life to take you to earth and take you back to heaven. The purpose of life is your growth. You grow through your own decisions, through your own observations, through your own conclusions, through your own epiphanies, whereby you raise your consciousness.

This is how you grow. It cannot be done mechanically. It cannot be done for you. We cannot do it for you. We can only help you do things for yourself, but you must be willing to do it.

Question about Bulgaria

Question: What can you say about the fate, future and destination of Bulgaria? Does the country have any significance at the regional level? Does Bulgaria have a special connection with Russia? And if so, what is it? What role can spiritual people play for Bulgaria? Is it possible to revive it? What is the role of Bulgaria in a manifestation of the Golden Age of Staint Germain?

Well, I will speak here in general terms about the nations who were either part of the Soviet Union or the Warsaw Pact.

The primary role of all of these nations is to catch up to the point where they would have been if they had not been held back by the Soviet Union. We are not saying that the Soviet Union did not bring any kind of progress. But it was a much slower progress than these nations would have experienced if they had not been suppressed by the Soviet Union and communist ideology. The primary role, or the primary task, for all of these nations is to catch up to where they otherwise would have been if they had been allowed to develop without this external influence.

Many of these nations have a certain tie to Russia. But what do we really mean, when we talk about a tie? There can be a certain karma that goes far back into history. But as we have said, people from many different backgrounds embody in many different nations in order to bring those nations forward. You cannot really say that just because a nation was part of the Soviet bloc, then it means they must have a certain tie to Russia or the Russian people. The question really, for these nations, is not so much what was our past, but what do we want as our future?

The question really is, are you willing to, then, look at the past, look at the Soviet era, learn the lessons that can be learned for your specific nation, look at whatever mindset you created in response to this situation and transcend it so that you can move forward from here?

This is what determines your ability to tune in to the golden age ideas that Saint Germain is willing to release for every nation. But the question is, are there people in those nations who can receive those ideas?

In order to receive these ideas, you need to free yourself from the old mindset. You can say that many of the things we have talked about so far, at this conference, do not only apply to the Russian people, but also to all people who were affected by the Soviet Union because that mindset was, to a certain degree, spread, even if it originated in Russia, it was spread to other countries. Many of these countries have created their own national versions of it, which is still holding them back.

Humor and violence in Hollywood movies

Question: I believe there is a tendency in Hollywood movies to show more humor in action movies, even movies that show a lot of violence. The players use a lot of jokes about the violence they are using. Is there a development that people tend to relax more about violence in the world? Or is it a way to perhaps, in a way perhaps driven by dark forces, to make violence more accepted and acceptable in society?

Well, both are correct in the sense that there is a certain tendency in the world in general where people are getting used to certain phenomena because they are being inundated with them. It used to be that if you go back 20 or 30 years, there might be a movie where there was one act of violence in that entire movie, and it had a certain shock effect.

Then what happens is that in order for the next director, who has an ambition of creating a movie that will be more talked about, well, that director has to have more of a shock effect. So he has to have more violence, either more acts of violence in the same movie or more extreme forms of violence, or they show them in more graphic detail.

You will notice that in older movies, a person might get shot, and there might be a very short glimpse of blood. But there will not be, as you see now, graphic pictures of decomposing bodies or bodies that have been split apart by an explosion. They are simply the effect that people get numbed, and therefore there has to be more and more extreme measures.

But it is very correct that there is a tendency to mix violence and humor. And this is something that is definitely originating with dark forces, who want to make violence seem more acceptable, something that really is not so bad and it may be necessary. And it is, of course, not a trend that is positive from an ascended master perspective. And it is not something you need to encourage by necessarily indulging in these movies. You can of course vote in only one way by not buying or partaking in this kind of content.

It is clear that there are certain dark forces who have this intent of creating more and more violence. And that is why you see that there is, in certain aspects of society, more violence. There is more violence and crime. And there is also a certain attitude of presenting war as a more glorious or heroic, or at least necessary way.

This, of course, you could say was more the case in previous decades. Whereas today, there are at least some movies and TV series that portray the horrors of war in order to give people a more realistic way, or a more realistic view of war. In a sense, you could say that there is a certain necessity of showing the horrors of war, so that people realize that war has a very real human cost. And that it is not a glorious heroic adventure that gives people honor, as I talked about in the book about war.

But on the other hand, clearly, the tendency to mix humor and violence can only come from the dark forces, who attempt to make it more acceptable with violence. This is, of course, a desperate attempt to them because the reality is that in most of the modern nations the population is becoming less and less violent, less and less prone to accept violence in the real world.

The dark forces are desperate to do whatever they can to reverse this trend, but they cannot reverse it because people are becoming more and more aware of the cost of violence, whether it is war, or whether it is mass shootings, or whatever it may be. And there is a growing opposition to violence, a willingness to demand that society stops violence.

The perception filter of avatars

Question: In “Loving the Divine Mother” invocation it is stated that: “…so for the self who desires to have this experience, it is necessary to define a filter through which the world is perceived. And this act inevitably creates a separate mind. Going into the separate consciousness is thus a choice made by our I Am Presence, so as to expand the self-awareness through this extreme experience in duality.” In the My Lives book, the main character suggests that coming to earth and a corresponding fall into duality was due to his failing in a particular initiation related to the understanding of free will. And finally, an avatar is coming to earth to serve in the growth of the collective consciousness. Are these three views simultaneously true?

Yes, they are. When you look at the context in which the teachings were given, you would see that they simply complement each other. All lifestreams who come into embodiment on an unnatural planet need to create a perception filter, a separate self, in order to take embodiment here. There is no other way.

An avatar who comes to earth has to do this in order to take embodiment. And that separate self will be based on whatever intent or attitude that the avatar had for deciding to come to earth. That is why the protagonist in the My Lives book decided to come to earth, because it wanted to minimize suffering, but did not quite understand the full extent of free will.

But nevertheless, an avatar coming from a natural planet is coming from a planet with a much higher level of consciousness than earth. And, therefore, the avatar coming into physical embodiment will pull up on the collective consciousness on earth, and have a beneficial effect on raising that consciousness.

Embodiment of a group of souls

Question: What happens in situations for unascended souls awaiting embodiment as a group? What happens in situations where a group of unascended souls are awaiting embodiment, and have finished their tenure in devachan or demonchan, but no physical body is available to embody on earth? Would their souls be put to sleep or sent to other planets if there is karma to be balanced?

Well, there is certainly no possibility of putting these souls to sleep. If there is no physical body available on earth, then they will stay in, not necessarily devachan or demonchan, but in the higher emotional level or the mental level or the identity level and learn lessons. In some cases, they can be sent to other planets and embody there, but they will spend their time productively until a body opens up.

Now when you talk about a group of souls, you need to be aware here that it is never so that you have, say 500 souls that must embody at the same time on earth, and therefore they all 500 have to wait until there are 500 bodies available. Souls embody on an individual basis, and although they can sometimes come down in a group, it is not so that they must come down in a group.

In other words, you are not holding back 500 souls until 500 embodiments are available in a specific country, for example. It is not so strict. Then they will start embodying individually as bodies are available. And they might embody in different parts of the world.

Last embodiment and karma

Question: What happens to souls who have no karma to balance and yet choose to embody one last time, and then they happen to make karma? Will they again continue to re-embody until new karma is balanced? Or can they still ascend and balance karma elsewhere, as starting the cycle of reincarnation again seems a bad option? That too, if they had already covered 144 levels of consciousness.

Well, there is a dispensation that you can ascend with 51% of your karma balanced and balance the rest from the ascended state. It is extremely unlikely that a soul who has balanced 100% of the karma would make so much karma in their next lifetime that they could not balance it all.

Now I know that you can play with the numbers here, and you can say that if a soul has no karma when it comes into embodiment, then the karma it makes in that embodiment will be 100% of its remaining karma. It would then have to balance 51% of the karma it made in that embodiment before it could ascend after that lifetime.

But in reality, things are not quite as linear as this. If a lifestream has balanced 100% karma, then comes into another embodiment, it is very unlikely that the lifestream would make so much karma that it could not ascend.

Hungary’s contribution to the golden age

Question: What can the Hungarian nation add to the manifestation of Saint Germain’s Golden Age?

Well, I understand why these questions are asked. And over time, we have had several other questions asked about, similar questions asked about other nations. I understand why the question is asked, but what we have attempted to explain to you is that it really is not logical to ask what a particular nation can contribute. Because the contribution to the golden age will primarily be the receiving of ideas. And ideas are in most cases received through one individual.

Really, it is not so that there is a particular nation that has a patent on creative individuals. There may be some nations that give more opportunity for individual creativity. And, therefore, they might attract more creative people. But creative people are found everywhere.

For any nation, Hungary or any other nation, the question really is, if you want to make a contribution to the golden age, then allow and encourage individual creativity. And then, of course, when ideas have been brought forth, it is a matter of implementing these ideas. But here, you need to be careful. Because there is this tendency that some nations want to be special. They will say: “Well, this idea might be good, but it wasn’t brought forth by somebody in our nation, so why should we implement it? We will do our own thing.”

What all nations can do is they can strive to attain more of a neutrality, where they say: “It really isn’t a matter of whether this idea was brought forth in our nation or somewhere else. The real matter is, is the idea valid? What will be the consequences of us implementing this idea, and what will be the best for us as a nation, for our people?” And then you implement the ideas that will bring your society forward.

It does not mean that all countries need to implement the same ideas. There is, for example, a wide range of educational methods that can all have validity. I am not saying that, in the golden age, there will be one educational method that should spread to all countries. There can still be individual differences. But there will not be over 100 educational methods, there will be a few. And that means that many countries need to implement the educational method that works best for them, even if it was not brought forth in their nation.

This is really the willingness, the openness to new ideas, and the willingness to implement the ideas based on a neutral evaluation, not where they came from, but what is best for our people, for our nation. What will bring us forward. This is what can best be done to manifest the golden age in individual nations. And the nations that adopt this attitude, as some nations already have to a large degree, they will be the ones that will be the forerunners for the golden age.

Ukraine in NATO?

Question: From the ascended masters perspective, do a critical mass of the Ukrainian people wish Ukraine to have membership in NATO, and why? From the ascended masters perspective, is the issue an indicator of the general level of consciousness?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2021 Webinar for Russia – Overcoming the consciousness of superiority and the sense of being unwhole, traumatized and focused outside oneself.

I would rather rephrase the question and say, is there a critical mass of people in Ukraine who want to live a peaceful life, have a peaceful future without interference from any external nations, which, of course, in practice means Russia? And the answer to that is clearly, yes.

There is a critical mass of people, in fact, a majority of people in Ukraine, when you look at Ukraine as a whole, who want to live a peaceful life, and they do not want interference from Russia, or anyone else, for that matter.

The entire issue of membership of NATO really comes from only one factor, and that is that most people in Ukraine do perceive Russia as a threat to the national integrity of Ukraine. They feel that Russia has an aggressive intent for the Ukrainian nation and does not want Ukraine to develop as the majority of the people in Ukraine decide.

It is very simple, the people in Ukraine want to pursue the growth of their nation as they decide through a democratic process. NATO membership is not that important and it is not a deciding factor. Ukraine does not have to become a member of NATO. They are only pursuing this because of the threat from Russia. If that threat is not there, membership of NATO becomes kind of a moot point.

In terms of membership in the EU, there is a majority of people who would want this for the economic growth that it would bring. And that it has brought in other former Soviet republics and Warsaw Pact countries, that is also clear. There may not be a majority in some of the eastern provinces, but that is an issue that needs to be solved internally by Ukraine.

Now, you need to recognize here that if the government of Russia had respect for its own people, even the ethnic Russians that do not live within the borders of Russia, they would allow the people in Ukraine to determine this by themselves without any interference. The fact that they are interfering —and nobody can really deny this if they look at facts—shows that the Russian government does not have respect for the Russians, the ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine. They do not have respect for the many people in the rest of Ukraine.

They are not willing to let Ukraine develop according to the will of the people because they have an intent. They want to use Ukraine for some purpose that relates to them and their power, first of all their power over the Russian people, but also this idea that Russia must still remain a significant empire. And also, that they wish to have a buffer zone against what they perceive as a threat from the west.

But as we have attempted to explain here, there is no threat from the west. There is absolutely no intent whatsoever that NATO will one day decide to invade Russia. NATO is a defensive alliance. Most of the member states of NATO are what we call the modern democracies. They have no aggressive intent of attacking other countries. NATO is a defensive alliance created in relation to the Soviet Union, which had a very clear and even openly stated intent of spreading communism around the world.

When the Russian government is saying that NATO’s activities, such as the Baltic countries becoming members of NATO or NATO moving troops into the Baltic countries, that this is an aggression against Russia, this is a complete lie. This is complete propaganda. And it is only done to either deceive those of the Russian people who believe what the government says, or to in their own eyes give them legitimacy for continuing the aggressive measures. In other words, Russia knows they are taking aggressive measures. When they get a response, they use that as an excuse for taking more aggressive measures.

You can ask yourself why the Russian government feels the need to have an excuse, when they have clearly demonstrated that they have no respect for other people, for international law and international treaties. But nevertheless, they do.

And this is one of the ways you can look at the hypocrisy, the hollowness of their arguments and realize that this is not really a government that you can believe. And, of course, the reality is that very, very few people and governments outside of Russia believe what the government says. When the Russian government denies any responsibility for any aggressive act, or any hack on the Internet, not very many countries believe this.

But, of course, some Russians believe it, and the Russian government believes it. And they have a need to believe it, because it gives them a sense of legitimacy, which they must maintain. This is, of course, cognitive dissonance. But, you have never seen an oppressive totalitarian government who did not suffer from cognitive dissonance.

The situation in eastern Ukraine

Question: I stand in solidarity with the people living in Crimea and near the Ukraine Russia border, who no longer wish to live in fear of violence and those people who do not want war being waged over their heads and near their families for any reason and those people who know that there are alternative means other than war for resolving conflicts. Are there a significant number of these people?

Naturally, if you look at the situation in eastern Ukraine, where there is continual clashes, there are many people who do not want to live in a war zone. There is, a significant number of them, but not a big enough number that these people have determined that they want Russia to stop interfering.

You recognize, as we have said, that the Russian government needs to have some kind of conflict with someone outside of Russia, to serve as an excuse for why they cannot solve all of the problems of Russia. And eastern Ukraine has simply been used cynically, completely cynically, by the Russian leadership. They pretend that they care about the Russian minority in eastern Ukraine, but they do not. They are simply tools in their increasingly desperate attempts to maintain control over Russia. There is no real concern, no humanitarian concern for these people. There is no sensitivity to life there.

It would actually be better for people in eastern Ukraine if they would stand up and tell Russia to stop interfering and accept that they are part of Ukraine and that the future is in working with the rest of Ukraine to perhaps get greater autonomy in the eastern region, perhaps even through peaceful means, divide Ukraine, and they can become a separate nation. Or they can, if they can do this through democratic, peaceful means, decide to join Russia if they want.

But there are peaceful ways of doing this and it would be better for everybody if they would make it clear to Russia that they want to pursue this with peaceful means. This may not have been possible in Ukraine a few years ago, but with the current situation in Ukraine, the current President and government, it would be possible to negotiate a change with peaceful means.

Accidents and karma

Question: Is the cause of a plane crash an accident, or just a necessity? Or do accidents depend on the internal state of the aircraft crew or the aircraft commander at a particular moment in time?

Let me speak about all kinds of accidents. I know that the crashing of an aircraft is always very dramatic because it often leads to the killing of all of the people on board. And it is a very abrupt incident. But of course, many more people are killed in car accidents than in aircraft accidents.

So what is the cause of an accident? Well, it is, in many cases, a rather complex issue. If you are talking about a car where a particular individual or even a small group of people are injured or killed, then it is most often the karma of the people. And also, of course, the state of consciousness of the people.

In many cases, the difference between an accident happening or not happening can be very small. It can be a moment of unawareness that leads to an accident, and it could have been avoided, regardless of the karma involved.

When you are talking about an aircraft, or there might be several hundred people aboard, then it is, to some degree, the karma, not necessarily of all the people, but a majority of the people. It is also, of course, the crew, the aircraft controllers, but it can also be the repair crews, the maintenance crews, whether they perform sufficient maintenance on the aircraft. It can even go up to the aircraft company and how well they maintain their planes, or whether they tend to take the chance that the plane will not fall down, even though it hasn’t been maintained strictly according to the rules. So, there are many complicated issues that are a factor here. And the more people that are involved in an accident, the more complex it becomes.

Gautama Buddha has talked about the “interdependent originations”. And so, you may look at a plane crash. And you may say that there was a particular part in the engine that suffered metal fatigue that caused the engine to break down. And this ultimately caused the plane to crash.

But this is not the only cause.There is a wide variety of factors, as I have just described, that play into this scenario. And as I said, the more people are involved, the more complex the picture becomes. If you could see from the ascended perspective, you could see, for example, that here is an airplane flying high in the sky, with 300 people aboard. And you can see that they are certain threads of energy, strings of energy that extends from these people’s auras into their home countries, their family, their work situation.

It extends into the emotional, mental, and identity levels. And you would see this very, very complex network of these energetic ties. There may be ties to the place where they are going, ties to the place where they are coming from. There may even be some ties to places they are flying over. It is a very, very complex mesh of energy lines, and it is a dynamic mesh that changes over time.

In some cases, you could see that from the moment the plane takes off, the accident is actually decided, but other times it can be a developing matrix that leads to an accident or sometimes, with a very narrow margin, prevents an accident. There are many factors that play into this, and it is really meaningless to talk about one particular cause.

What you can do when you are flying is, of course, make the calls for the technical and mechanical function of the airplane, the safety of the crew, the people on board for the conditions around the aircraft, such as weather and other aircraft and for the safety of your flight.

You can also make the calls to your Christ Self and I AM Presence to direct you to not go on a certain flight if there is a potential for an accident, and it is not in your divine plan to be part of this. Therefore, you can take certain measures on an individual level in order to maximize your safety when you travel.

The freedom of press and disinformation in the media

Question: The media are considered the fourth power after the legislative, executive and judicial branches. In democracies, they must be independent. Unfortunately, in many countries, the media are owned either by the state or by private companies and the information that is presented sometimes are very biased, either in the interests of a particular state or in the interests of a private company, financial or political groups. Legislative restrictions on false defamatory untruthful content are often banned for the same, sometimes declared, independence or the media. What can be the solution to the problem? Would it be correct for a legislature to impose stricter rules on media content?

Well, we have commented on this before in various ways, including during the Christhood conference, but nevertheless, this is a complex issue.

It is a challenge for all modern nations to deal with this and the reason why it is a challenge is, of course, because the internet makes it possible to promote any kind of ideas, beliefs or claims. This is, of course, a great advantage in the overall perspective, because it makes it more easy to disseminate knowledge, including ascended masters teachings, which, of course, would have no chance in the mainstream media or the mainstream publishing industry.

You need to simply accept that you cannot give freedom without giving people the opportunity to misuse and abuse freedom. It is clear that in the recent years, the amount of disinformation that is deliberately being spread on the internet has reached a certain level where even democratic nations find that they cannot just ignore it and allow complete freedom of the media.

That is why some nations have defined the concept of hate speech, where you are deliberately encouraging, for example, violence against a particular group of people, and some restrictions have been made on this. You can see how, after the United States election, Facebook and other platforms felt it necessary to limit the content that could be posted on there and even limit what people could post.

It is clear that this is one of the challenges that are simply part of the continued growth in freedom and opportunity. With freedom, of course, comes, as Portia talked about, this fear of failure, this fear of all the opportunities you could have. There will always be some people who will say: “But look, what does freedom of the media and the internet has brought us? Disinformation is spread, we need to stop this, we need to restrict this. And who is going to do it? Well, the state needs to do it.”

I am not saying that states cannot do this. But you need to recognize here that before you had democratic nations, you had a very restricted press. It was either restricted by a religion such as the Catholic church or by the state. As part of the creation of democracy, you gave complete freedom of the press.

Now, of course, there was never complete freedom, because it quickly emerged that there were, instead of many small, independent newspapers, bigger and bigger media conglomerates started emerging and they often had a certain political agenda. You have had, for example, in many countries where each political party would have their own newspaper that would publish things from their perspective and so you have never actually had total freedom of the press.

Except you could say that with the advent of the internet, you have the freedom that anybody can publish anything they want and people did have the freedom to choose what they study, what they take in.

You recognize that if a state starts restricting freedom of the press, I am not saying it should not be done to some degree, but you need to realize that you are immediately placing yourself on a slippery slope that can lead to greater and greater control of the media, and where does it end? It ends in the scenario described in the book 1984, where you have complete control of information as you had to a large degree in the Soviet Union.

You always have these two opposing polarities, the total control, the total unrestricted dissemination of information, and disinformation. What is the solution?

The only real solution is the raising of the consciousness so that people acquire Christ discernment and can tell simply by vibration, or in other ways as well, what is valid information and what is not. This is part of why we gave the Christ discernment seminar to those of you who are ascended masters students can increase your discernment.

The way I look at this is that what is happening is simply part of the inevitable growth process, where you have certain phases, where there is a certain turmoil, there is a certain chaos, there is a certain uncertainty because there is a contrast between false information and true information. It becomes for a time more difficult to tell the difference between the two, but it is precisely in wrestling with telling the difference, that people grow in awareness and grow in discernment.

The real solution is the raising of the discernment of the people. Can the state produce this? To some degree, they could through education, but they cannot produce it through censorship and control. Again, I am not saying that states should not restrict hate speech, for example, or deliberate lies that are spread, but on the other hand, you also need to say that a lie can be counteracted by stating the facts. And then you must allow people to believe what they want to believe and reap the consequences of it. This is, again, the outplaying of free will.

Now I realize very well that this can be taken to quite extreme positions, and I am not saying that countries cannot take measures to prevent things from going too far. Many countries, democratic nations, for example, looked at the recent election in the United States and realized that their countries could potentially be vulnerable to someone who was in a position to deliberately spread disinformation and distrust in the political system.

They have started deliberating on what they could do in their countries to prevent such a situation, and it is valid to deliberate this. I am not saying there is only one solution. It is something that each country must wrestle with on an individual basis. I am not saying either, that nations could not look at the situation of the media in their country and say that certain media outlets have become too big, they have become taken over by clearly political interests, and they must provide some kind of alternative. As we have said before, it can be legitimate to limit the size of corporations, especially multinational corporations.

There are many measures that need to be debated about this field, but it is not so there is only one possible solution except, of course, for the raising of consciousness so that the people have enough Christ discernment that the media cannot manipulate them.

The COVID-19 vaccine – not ideal but practical solution

Question: There is a lot of information in the independent media in which scientists criticize genetically engineered vaccines as completely unsafe for the human body. It is reported that after a vaccine developed through genetic engineering, the human body loses almost absolute immunity from other diseases. What is the real situation?

It has already been demonstrated by the millions of people who have been vaccinated that the body does not lose all immunity from other diseases. Otherwise, these people would have started dying in numbers that could not be ignored, so it is not entirely correct to say this.

You need to recognize here that a vaccine, whether it is for COVID-19 or any other disease whatsoever, is not an ideal solution. We have talked before about vaccines and said that, again, there are certain practical realities. And, of course, as you move into the golden age and have more spiritual-based medicine, vaccines will become unnecessary.

But there has been a period of time here where due to the level of consciousness, due to the advancement, or lack of advancement of science, vaccines were a practical necessity in order to prevent these very contagious diseases.

It is clear that a vaccine does affect the body. If it had no effect on the body, it could not help protect the body against the disease. Anything that is artificial that affects the body can have side effects—for some people more severely than others, so nothing is completely ideal.

But again, you need to look at the practical reality. You need to look at the number of people who have died as a result of COVID-19 and the number of people who have survived but who have lingering long-term side effects of this. You simply need to look at this somewhat dubious concept of the greater good. Are the advantages of vaccinating people greater than what you would get if you did not vaccinate and simply allowed this very contagious disease to run its course?

And even on an individual level, except for these blood clots that have been determined, I would say that for most people (and again, there can be individual differences), but for most people, the effects of the vaccine are far less than would be the long-term effects of contracting the disease.

I would still, in general, recommend people to get vaccinated. But of course, there is no guarantee. Therefore, you can tune in individually. If you feel a strong, intuitive urge not to get vaccinated or not to get vaccinated with a certain type of vaccine, then follow your inner prompting. But unless you have a strong, intuitive urge not to do so, then the advantages of the vaccine will outweigh the effects of contracting the disease.

Praying for the departed souls

Question: The priest from the monastery says that we need to pray for the departed souls, that these prayers can even help the soul to rise to a higher level. Is it true?

Well, we have given teachings that a soul, depending on its level of consciousness before it died, can be stuck in, for example, the astral plane and that is where you can certainly make calls for the soul to be cut fee so that it can move to a higher station and receive more growth before its next embodiment.

I am not saying that the traditional prayers given in various churches cannot have an effect on people, but they are not, of course, nearly as effective as the Astrea decree or other calls we have given for this purpose.

So yes, it can indeed work to pray, but it is far better to use the calls and invocations to directly invoke the intercession of the ascended masters to cut souls free and help them move on.

This is, of course, a valuable service that you can perform for those close to you who have made the transition. You can certainly give a vigil to Astrea by using invocations and decrees and other masters such as Archangel Michael, the violet flame for the healing of their psychology and if you know that there are certain psychological issues that those who have passed away had and that were not resolved, then you can use the invocations for healing spiritual traumas and give that on the person’s behalf.

This will not resolve it against their free will, but it will make it easier for them to make the choice when they are out of the body. It is generally, unless people are stuck in the astral plane, easier for people to make the choice to change their psychology when they are not in the physical body. When they are in the physical body, they are often so burdened by the conditions of the physical or the emotional, that they cannot make the decisions that they need to make in order to grow.

The height of the body

Question: I have a question for my beloved Mother Mary. On earth, it is believed that the human body grows on average to 20 to 23 years. What will it take to have the body grow in height further? How can a desired height be achieved? Do we have our physical bodies in accordance with our divine plans?

Well, the issue of the height of the body is related to the consciousness of the people in general. You will see that in most countries, people have become taller over the last 100 or 200 years. At the physical level, this is due to better diet, but at the spiritual level, it is also because the collective consciousness has been raised. This means that the average height will continue to grow as the consciousness is raised.

Now, you need to be very careful here that you do not start reasoning that this means that people who are not as tall have a lower state of consciousness. This does not apply at the individual level. There is a certain height that is determined, not necessarily by your divine plan, but many times by your genetic inheritance.

Naturally, there is a certain correlation between your state of consciousness and the conditions in your physical body. You can certainly improve the health of your body by resolving psychological conditions. On the other hand, you need to not take this so far that you start blaming yourself that any problem in your body is because you have psychological issues that are unresolved or because your consciousness is not high enough.

Your bodies are physical and many conditions in your body will be determined by your genetic inheritance, both in your family but also in the group of people that you are a part of. So it is not a matter of blaming yourself for everything, it is a matter of doing what you can to transcend your psychology, but then accepting that there are certain genetic inherited conditions that you cannot transcend in this lifetime physically, but therefore, you need to transcend them psychologically, so they do not affect you and your attitude to life, but you move on with your divine plan in the best possible way given the body you have.

There needs to come a point where the height of your body is not a psychological issue for you, just as it should not be an issue whether you have this color eyes or that color eyes, or this color hair or that color hair, or this color skin or that color skin.

Mary’s 500 vigil – opening and sealing

Question: When we give invocations during Mother Mary’s 500 vigil, do we need to read the opening prayer and the sealing each time or can this be done at beginning of the vigil and at the end?

Answer from Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2021 Webinar for Russia – Overcoming the consciousness of superiority and the sense of being unwhole, traumatized and focused outside oneself.

The normal way of giving invocations is that you give the opening prayer and you give the sealing for each invocation. It can be a little different with decrees, where if you are, for example, giving several different violet flame decrees, you can give an opening prayer invocation and then you can give different decrees and then you can give a sealing for all of them.

But it is definitely the correct way or the best way to do it is when you are dealing with an invocation, give the opening and the sealing. It does not take that long, but it is also that in the opening prayer you are directing that particular invocation, you are dedicating it to resolving specific conditions.

How to give the body nutrients it needs

Question: Beloved masters, recently more and more people suffer from allergies to synthetic nutrients of vitamin pills and at the same time due to impaired digestion, fruits and vegetables are also not probably absorbed in their body. How can they get vitamins for their body? And what is the underlying reason for that?

Well, this is a very complicated issue that I cannot go into in an answer that necessarily must be somewhat short.

What I would like to bring forth here is that there is always a certain cyclic progression of things. In other words, you can have a time, where knowledge and science is at a certain level and therefore, for practical reasons, certain measures can be taken.

So there comes a time, for example, where scientists realized that the human body needs certain nutrients, certain vitamins and minerals and they also realized that in many parts of the world, the soil has been depleted to the point where it does not contain those minerals, so the plants cannot absorb enough minerals and therefore people cannot absorb these minerals from the foods that they eat, and so the solution then seems from a certain perspective to be to create pills with vitamins and minerals that people can take as supplements.

It is not that there is anything invalid about this approach. It does work, but the thing is, anything you do that is not completely natural will over time create a certain reaction in the bodies of at least some people, so that it becomes harder for them to, for example, digest or absorb vitamins and minerals, and this means that these people then need to do something else and one interim solution can be more pure foods, more ecological foods and so forth and so on. You can eat foods where you avoid as many chemicals as possible.

So there is a certain cyclic nature of this issue, but in the long term, of course, the real solution is to get back to a more natural state where people eat more pure and more natural foods that does not have as many chemicals, preservatives, colorings and all of these things that are added to the food.

It is also a matter of consciousness, raising the collective consciousness, raising the individual consciousness. You will know, if you look at history that there has been a rather long period of history where many people in South East Asia primarily ate rice and had little food besides rice and yet they still survived. They may have had some certain limitations and propensity for certain diseases, but they survived.

Which meant that the human body was able to create vitamins and minerals just from a diet of primarily rice, so it is not necessarily so, that the body needs to have everything coming in that it needs. If the body is functioning in a relatively pure state, it can create many vitamins and minerals and enzymes and hormones that it needs.

So in a more long term solution, this requires a different approach to health and healthcare than you see in most modern nations where it is too materialistic. It requires resolution of psychology and therefore people attaining more of a balance, healing their traumas from past lives.

There are many, many people who have such severe traumas from past lives that it affects their body’s ability, it affects their immune system for example, but also their body’s ability to absorb nutrients. There are many people who can have traumas that give them a negative attitude towards the earth, towards the material realm, towards the mother realm and it prevents them from absorbing certain nutrients that their bodies need. Psychologically, at the emotional, mental level, you are blocking the physical body so that the cells cannot absorb this.

And so as I said, it is a complicated issue that does not have a simple solution. It requires more of a long-term shift, which, of course, is what we are working towards and what you are working towards when you are giving our invocations and decrees and raising your consciousness.

The great melting pot of earth

Question: The ascended masters said that the Jews and Arabs in the Middle East are not the original inhabitants of the earth. So, what groups of people on earth belong to the original races?

It is not strictly correct to say that the Jews and Arabs are all not the original inhabitants. What we have said is that many of the people who have embodied in the Middle East for a long time are what we have called laggard evolutions, because they are not willing to change.

Some of them came from a particular planet called Maldek that was destroyed by the inhabitants, and they have not been willing to change their consciousness since then. But it is not only in the Middle East that you find these laggard evolutions, you find them in a greater concentration there than anywhere else.

Now, in terms of the original inhabitants of the earth, you cannot say that there is a particular people that are the original inhabitants, because they are also spread all over the planet. There is no country where you do not find some of the original inhabitants.

In other words, you need to be very careful and realize that there is a certain spiritual reality of where particular lifestreams have come from and then there are the human divisions that people have created over time, such as for example, race. And it is not in any way valid or constructive to say that a particular race is the laggard evolutions or a particular race is the original inhabitants or a particular race is so forth and so on.

You cannot look at races, skin color, national borders and compare this, so you find original inhabitants all over the planet. If you look today, you could say that some of the native people that are found around the world and that are still living in a more close contact with nature or the earth, most of these people are the original inhabitants.

But even there, you will find some more mature souls who have vowed to take embodiment there in order to help them raise their consciousness, so you simply have to recognize that earth is the great melting pot and there has been such a mixture of people, lifestreams from different backgrounds that there is no outer grouping that can clearly identify a particular group.

International sanctions against Russia

Question: The developed countries of the world use the sanctions policy to prevent Russia’s illegal actions. Is it effective in terms of the growth of the collective consciousness of the Russian people?

Answer from ascended master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2021 Webinar for Russia – Overcoming the Consciousness of Superiority and the Sense of Being Unwhole, Traumatized and Focused Outside Oneself.

Well, the sanctions are not really used to prevent Russia’s aggressive actions because they do not prevent Russia’s aggressive actions. But in connection with the previous question, where I said that many nations feel they cannot trust Russia, this is because they have seen over and over again that Russia commits aggressive actions.

You realize, I assume, that the creation of the Soviet Union was one big aggressive action on behalf of Russia that these other nations do not feel that Russia would be able to stop itself. Russia will keep doing what they are doing, keep becoming more and more aggressive unless they draw a line and say, if you go any further, we will punish you.

It is sort of the metaphor of the child, the unruly child that wants attention, and that keeps acting out until the parents say that is enough. And unfortunately, Russia is to a large degree, behaving like this unruly child that cannot stop itself.

So most nations in the world would much prefer that this scenario simply was not there because Russia as I said could be trusted and was playing by the same rules as everybody else, then they would not use sanctions. They would prefer not to do this. They would prefer to be able to treat Russia as a mature modern nation that you can cooperate with, because you can trust that they will live up to their obligations that they take on themselves.

What would happen if Russia gave up its aggression towards other nations?

Question: If Russia changed its political and military strategy, everything is subject to the laws of the Creator and especially to the law of free will. Thus in certain life situations it is possible to predict the behavior and actions of global political and financial groups, as well as the reaction of society in other countries. Can the ascended master us give a hypothetical forecast? What would change in the world if Russia step by step within three to seven years changed its international political and military strategy? For example, if Russia returned all its troops and individual armed units from abroad to Russia, closed all military bases on the territory of other countries, and returned all the disputed territories to Ukraine, the Baltic countries, Japan, etc. And if Russia ceases to provide military assistance to other countries and stop selling weapons abroad, stop interfering in the internal affairs of other countries, and instead focusing on the development of peaceful international economic relations, the economy within the country and the peaceful settlement of disputed world issues and conflicts, but at the same time, would retain its military or nuclear potential to return military aggression from other countries. How would the leading world powers the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, China and others, react in this case in relation to Russia? What political, economic and military picture of the world would we see?

Well my beloved, your question, in a sense, anticipates what we are going to talk about later in the conference, because this is indeed one of the topics we have planned to talk about.

But the short answer is that Russia would suddenly find itself in a completely different position.

Because what is happening right now is that many countries in the world feel that it is impossible to cooperate with Russia on an equal footing. In other words, if you have a country like Russia, that might seek to hack your country’s computer systems, influence elections, influence public opinion, that might fly its warplanes into your airspace without advance notice in violation of international law and in violation of treaties that Russia itself has signed, then other countries feel that they cannot cooperate with Russia, they cannot trust that Russia will not be aggressive towards them.

The simple reality is that you can go back to this old question: “What came first, the chicken or the egg?” In other words, what came first, Russia’s aggression towards other nations, or other nations’ aggression towards Russia. And it is a valid enough question to ask if you go further back in time. But what happened, especially after the Second World War in the West was, that many Western nations, especially in Europe, and the United States, made a strong commitment to avoid a third world war.

They did this by stepping up to a higher approach to each other, where they decided to treat each other equally according to democratic principles and rights, and to be trustworthy, so that others could trust your nation and you can trust other nations. This has created an international climate, it extends beyond Europe, but it has created an international climate where you have a group of nations that trust that they can cooperate, not only economically but also militarily and in other ways.

There is a trust that these nations will not mistreat each other, they will not deceive each other, they will not manipulate and they will not take aggressive actions against each other. This has created a climate of trust. And it is this climate of trust and cooperation that is the basis for the economic prosperity you see in these nations.

Now Russia, many Russians will be unable to comprehend what I’m saying, they will be unable to grasp this climate of trust. They will come up with all kinds of reasons why Russia cannot trust America or European nations, and why they have done this in the past and why they are doing this now and that is why Russia has to do what Russia is doing.

But again, which came first, the chicken or the egg. But does it matter which came first? What matters is what do you want to do from now on?

What the Western nations, and certainly all of the affluent nations want, is for Russia, to be part of the group of affluent modern nations that can all trust each other, and can cooperate on all kinds of issues, and they can grow in prosperity together.

So what would be the reaction from the world if the world saw that there was a change in Russia?

Well first there would be a huge sigh of relief. Then you would see that goodwill and cooperation would indeed be extended to Russia. And to the extent that Russia lived up to this trust as other nations do, then it will be treated as an equal among other nations.

The problem is that some among Russian leadership and some among the people do not want Russia to be treated as an equal, but wants Russia to be special. So you have to give up that desire to be special, in order to be part of the group of affluent, prosperous nations, it can be no other way. These nations have grown because they have cooperated, you cannot stand outside and have the same prosperity. It is impossible. This is another natural law.

How to free yourself from the collective consciousness of your nation

Question: When I read the ascended masters dictations on Russia and the USSR, I feel a strong protest and feel like it is not true. I used to be a great patriot of my country and considered it the best one. Now I realize that this reaction demonstrates my connection with the downward energy vortexes associated with the patriotism and greatness of my country. How can I set myself free from these vortexes? What spiritual tools should I use? How can I change my view on it and turn the dial on my consciousness to a higher vision?

Answer from Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2021 Webinar for Russia – Overcoming the Consciousness of Superiority and the Sense of Being Un-whole, Traumatized and Focused Outside Oneself.

Well, what I’m getting is that Mother Mary and Saint Germain have addressed this very issue and so you can take those dictations, and of course you can use the tools for resolving the traumas, the separate selves. Because when we grow up, no matter where we grow up, whatever country it is, there’s always a certain collective consciousness.

We take on, from the collective self, we take on the personal self that we internalize, and then to free ourselves from it we need to, of course, come to a point where we realize that this self just has to die.

I mean, it’s not a matter of saying that the Russians’ consciousness is worse or better than other countries. It’s not a matter of resolving a certain issue that’s important—every country has certain issues that’s important to them. It’s not a matter of resolving it. It’s a matter of us realizing we’re spiritual people and we need to free ourselves from it.

Gautama Buddha said 2,500 years ago, he talks about the Dharma, the Dharma is what you have to accomplish in this life in order to be free. So he said, moving away from your home country is accomplishing half the Dharma. In other words, the change that you have to go through in your consciousness in this lifetime, a lot of it can be accomplished by moving from your home country.

Now I’m not saying that everybody has to move from their home country. But I can say for myself that growing up in Denmark, there was a lot of things I didn’t see in Danish mentality that you just take them on, because that’s how everybody is.

When I moved to the United States, all of a sudden, they were gradually challenged, because things were different over there. I’m not saying they were better or worse, doesn’t matter. They were just different. So by living there, and later living in Estonia and Sweden, and now back to Denmark, I’ve come to see how much of this national mindset we take on without realizing it.

That’s helped me free myself from at least some of it. It really can be a great help to look at: “How do people outside of my country look at some of these issues?” Then we get a different perspective and suddenly we realize that, in one country we think that there’s a certain aspect of life that’s just so important. But a different country far away, it’s not important at all to them. So then we realize, but maybe, maybe it isn’t as important as I was brought up to think it is, and that makes it easier to let go of it.

It’s amazing, I have met many, many people on the spiritual path who are from many different countries and it’s really amazing how every country has its own set of beliefs and attitudes that are holding people back on the spiritual path and also from feeling at peace.

Julita and I often talk about it, because she being from Poland, after she moved from Poland, she has gone through this process of seeing things in Polish mentality and freeing herself from them that she never realized before, just like I didn’t see the Danish mentality until I moved.

But you can of course, do this by reading about it, by interacting with people from other countries, just realizing there’s a different way to look at things. It’s not a matter of saying whether it’s better or worse, it doesn’t matter. It’s just when you realize there’s a different way to look at it, all of a sudden you’re not as trapped in it anymore, in this mindset and it becomes easier for you to look at it, process it, and then you can make a decision: “Do I want to keep this or do I want to let it go? Does it limit me? Will it actually be better for me to let it go?”

Beasts in the collective consciousness of Russia

Question: Is there a primal self in the collective consciousness of Russia, that hinders its shift? If so, what can the ascended masters tell us about it?

Answer from ascended master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2021 Webinar for Russia – Overcoming the Consciousness of Superiority and the Sense of Being Unwhole, Traumatized and Focused Outside Oneself.

There is not a primal self in the sense of how we have used the word, “primal self” in our teachings. As Saint Germain said there is no Russian people, there are many individual people who have a very long and complex history that have embodied in what is now the Russian nation. But you will see that the Russian nation is a very recent creation, when you think back a couple of million years.

But there is of course, certain traumas created in the collective consciousness, going way back into history, but you have some of these very cruel rulers like Ivan the Terrible and some of the tsars and the Bolsheviks, and this has created of course, these, not really primal selves, because they are not the first one, but certainly these selves or beasts in the collective consciousness.

This is what I talked about in my dictation, it is what Saint Germain talked about, you might as well say that we were talking about certain selves in the collective consciousness that you as an individual need to look at and free yourself from. Then when enough people do this, it will have the collective effect, that suddenly it spreads like rings in the water and more and more people can begin to see this and free themselves from it and that is when the critical mass is reached and there will be a shift.

Healing your psychology is a lifelong process

Question: I have lost many people close to me to whom I was attached. Over the course of the year, I have been working hard to use the spiritual tools given by the ascended masters, to heal and let go of my past traumas and overcome my birth trauma. At times, I felt that I was no longer attached to the past and could remember it neutrally without emotion. But later, there has come a point when everything repeated again, I felt the emotional pain again. I’m very confused, why is this happening? I really sincerely try to look inside myself and get into my psychology, avoiding the mechanical approach. Maybe I’m not seeing my illusion or the beliefs behind this attachment. Or I’m very impatient and one year is a very short time for this process. Will the ascended masters comment on this?

Well, my beloved, when you take the “My Lives” book and the teachings about birth trauma, you can see that many of you could have been on earth for a very long time, had many, many lifetimes, so even though we have given you powerful tools, it is not realistic that this could be resolved in just one year. You simply need to be more patient and give yourself more time.

You also need to be aware that because you have these patterns that have been built over many lifetimes, there can come a point where you have worked through something and you feel like you have worked through it. But it is only for a particular lifetime you have worked through it. So you feel some relief. But then as you keep working on your psychology, you eventually come to something that came from an earlier lifetime that is deeper, or it is not an issue that is not quite the same issue, although it has some similarities.

You need to be patient and realize that there will be certain cycles where you will dig into a particular issue, resolve it, you will, so to speak, come up for air, and you have some reprieve. Then you will again dive down into the waters of the subconscious and deal with either the same issue from a deeper level, or a related issue that you did not resolve the first time.

So you simply need to have patience with yourself, shift your attitude so you look at this, as the messenger said, as a lifelong process of healing your psychology. Quite frankly, one lifetime is a very short time to heal your psychology compared to how many lifetimes it took to build up the traumas.

How to deal with the strong physical pain

Question: From time to time, I suffer from some physical pain, and a feeling that if the pain is stronger and last longer, I will not be able to deal with it, making me feel very depressed. Sometimes I think that I feel like leaving life rather than suffer strong pain. What is the reason for such a high sensitivity to physical pain and how to overcome it?

Well, first of all, if you suffer from recurring physical pain, you should take the appropriate steps to see if there is a specific disease that is causing this. This, of course is beyond what I can give you advice on based on the information you have given. What you need to be aware of is that many people have over many past lives, suffered great physical pain. It can be torture, it can be disease, it can be killing, poverty, malnutrition.

So it is very understandable that many people have this almost fear of pain, uncertainty, a strong drive to avoid physical pain. This can have the effect that if you cannot avoid it, then you can feel depressed, you can feel there is something wrong, you should be able to avoid this.

The only advice I can give you on that particular point is to shift your attitude to the body and shift your attitude to pain. Naturally, you should take appropriate steps to heal any disease that is causing the pain. You could also consider using painkillers if it is very strong.

But as I said, from past lifetimes, many people have been exposed to what in the “My Lives” book is called “total pain”, which is where it comes to a point where the physical pain becomes psychologically unbearable. As we are in today’s age, then you can use painkillers if you get to that point, but you can achieve quite a bit by working on your attitude to the body and your attitude to pain. Again, we have the tools for healing past trauma because this is not a physical issue primarily, it is primarily a psychological issue that is created or stems from trauma from past lives.

How to turn your path into a continual progress

Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, April 25, 2021. This dictation was given during the 2021 Webinar for Russia – Overcoming the consciousness of superiority and the sense of being unwhole, traumatized and focused outside oneself.

Kim: This dictation will be focused on or it will start with a question that was asked. And other people have over time asked somewhat similar questions. So, Mother Mary wants to comment on this and the general term for all people.

Question: Dear masters, how do we deal with depression and losing the meaning of life? I’ve been practicing the teachings for over 10 years already and everything seemed to be fine. But now I feel like it was all meaningless. All my conditions in the psyche, which I thought were gone, are returning now. I feel frustration, loss of the landmark, and the invocations don’t help. How can I rise above this?

Answer: I AM the Ascended Master Mother Mary and I use this particular question as the starting point for giving some general comments about what it takes to be on the spiritual path and what it takes to turn your path into a continual progress.

Now, we will start by recognizing a simple fact. You have all grown up in societies that do not acknowledge the existence of a spiritual path. Most of you have grown up in societies that are anti-spiritual, as the messenger has described in his book. You have been brought up with certain attitudes to life, certain beliefs, certain viewpoints, that will make it much more difficult for you to walk the spiritual path until at least you see through them.

There is a very important sentence that Jesus spoke 2000 years ago, “In your patience possess ye your souls”. You need to recognize that you are all pioneers, you are all forerunners. You are part of a movement where it was part of your path, part of your divine plan, to grow up in an anti-spiritual society and to demonstrate that you can still find and walk the spiritual path.

But because of your starting point you cannot expect that this will always be easy. You cannot expect that it will always be smooth progress and therefore it is important to have this attitude that when you hit a crisis or an obstacle, when you hit a certain feeling that is not quite as enthusiastic as you had in the beginning, then you need to be willing to recognize that this is part of the path in today’s world.

There is nothing wrong with you because you are going through this. There’s nothing wrong with the path. But given the circumstances that you have grown up in, that you are living in, the collective consciousness, the kind of society you have grown up in, it’s just part of the path.

I know this doesn’t make it any more pleasant but it can at least prevent a mechanism that we see in some students.

You will recognize, most of you, that when you first found the spiritual path it was like a big relief, a new world opened up. You were very enthusiastic and you had what we could very easily call a honeymoon period where everything was wonderful, everything was positive, you were very optimistic, very hopeful. Then after a while that feeling starts fading and for some people it can go into a more severe depression or doubts, a sense of hopelessness that you’re not making progress, that you’re not getting anywhere. But again, this is almost inevitable given your starting point in an anti-spiritual society. Also, given the fact that you did not grow up with any knowledge of the spiritual path, but you grew up with certain attitudes that are antithetical to the spiritual path.

The first element I want to give you is that it is not easy to be a forerunner in today’s age, in today’s society, and therefore you need to have a little patience with yourself. You need to avoid going into the reaction that when the honeymoon is over and you start feeling more difficulties, then you start blaming yourself for this.

We have a previous dispensation called the Summit Lighthouse and to some degree even in the I AM movement, where there was a certain culture, and I’m not saying that this was not based on the dictations we gave at the time, but still there was a culture that went beyond what was actually said in the dictations.

This culture presented the path as a very strict disciplinary process that required you to be a very strong, stalwart, firm chela that followed all the rules and prescripts and gave all the decrees and went to services and didn’t do this and didn’t drink that and didn’t eat this and followed all of these outer rules. There was a certain culture of whether you were the right kind of chela, whether you were a strong chela, a stalwart chela and there was a very judgmental attitude towards those who didn’t live up to these requirements.

This caused some people, when they started feeling these difficulties on the path, to come down on themselves, to start blaming themselves, to start thinking they were not good enough. It caused other people to deny that they were feeling any problems, to simply push them down into the subconscious and continue following all the outer rules. This was simply part of the whole process of this dispensation at the end of the Piscean Age and so on.

I’m not blaming anybody for this. I am simply describing the conditions that were there, the reactions people had and I’m doing it because I want to point out to you that we have not said anything in this dispensation to encourage this kind of mindset and culture. We have been very careful not to present the spiritual path the same way, not to encourage this kind of, quite frankly a black and white mind evaluation of good chelas and not so good chelas and what it takes to be a good student and not a good student. We have not encouraged this. Some people have taken it on by themselves. Some people have carried it with them from past dispensations but if you look at what we have said in this dispensation we have not encouraged it, neither has the messenger encouraged it.

So, the first thing you can do is you can ask yourself, “Do I have this reaction in me? Do I tend to feel that there is a certain standard for how I should be as a student of the ascended masters? Do I tend to judge myself, perhaps even judge others based on such a standard? If I do, where did this standard come from? Have I been involved with spiritual groups, other ascended master dispensations, other spiritual teachings or have I grown up in a certain religion that also presents a somewhat black and white picture of what it takes to be a good follower of that religion or a person who will be saved?”

You will see when you start looking at this, that many religions have such a standard. You can clearly see it from the formation of the Catholic church and forward where it was presented, that all people were sinners, but those who were good Catholics would be saved and all those who were not good Catholics would not go to heaven but could go either to hell or purgatory. You see how this attitude goes very far back in the spiritual life of this planet.

It is clear that as we transition from the Piscean Age to the Aquarian Age, some spiritual people need to take on this attitude and then demonstrate that you can transcend it, you can overcome it, you can free yourself from it. How do you free yourself from this kind of attitude? Well, you do so by recognizing the teachings we have given on the separate selves. By being exposed to this mindset perhaps for several lifetimes, in fact for most of you for several lifetimes, you have created certain separate selves that judge yourself, that judge your involvement with the spiritual path. And you can then follow the procedure for coming to see these selves.

I do understand very well that there are some people who come to a point where it seems to them that giving decrees no longer works, giving invocations no longer works. But quite frankly, the process for coming to see a separate self is a universal process. It has nothing to do with decrees and invocations even though we have given some invocations to help you go through the process.

The essence of this process is to come to see something that you have not seen before. If we really step back we can say that whenever you come to a point where you start feeling like you are not making progress, you are standing still, everything you did was meaningless – the cause of this reaction is that there is something you have not seen. There is something you have not seen in yourself in the form of a particular separate self but there is also something you have not seen about the spiritual path and even about human psychology in general.

So, let me instill this one thought in your mind and I hope you will accept it and fix it very firmly in your mind, any kind of crisis or slowdown on the spiritual path, it is always because there is something you haven’t seen.

When you recognize this, you can then start looking at what exactly is it I have not seen here in this particular instance? Of course, there are things you have not seen and there will be things you have not seen until you reach the 144th level of consciousness, but that does not matter. What matters is right now, in the situation you are facing right now, in the crisis you are facing right now, “what is it I have not seen?”

When you accept this you can do what we have also told you to do, which is also completely universal, has nothing to do with decrees and invocations, isn’t even particularly a spiritual thing, certainly not tied to any spiritual teaching and that is to look at your own reactions. How exactly am I reacting? There are a variety of reactions that people can have that can cause them to go into a crisis. There are more than I can mention in just one dictation but I will at least give you something to start on.

This will not apply to all of you, it will apply to some of you. Perhaps what I say, there will be some of you that will feel it does not apply to me but then there is something else that you can discover if you keep looking at your reactions, asking yourself what is behind those reactions, trying to look for that separate self and the belief behind it.

The first thing I want to talk about is the concept of the outer path. This is a concept we have talked about before but it has been around for a very long time on this planet. It was of course created by the fallen beings deliberately to distract people from the true spiritual path, which is an inner path. So, there is a very old momentum, there is a collective beast that promotes very aggressively this outer path.

You can see it in the Catholic church for example, where you are presented as a sinner but if you follow the outer rules of the Catholic church, then you will be saved. You are following a set of outer rules and this will guarantee that Jesus will save you. He will come and save you, he will do it for you. The problem with this outer path is that it disempowers you as an individual. Yes, you can follow the outer rules, but as we have said this will not save you and many, many people have lived an entire lifetime believing in the Christian promise whether it is the Catholic or Protestant churches and then after that lifetime found out that they are not going to be saved, they have to go back into embodiment. This is why some people have a distrust of all kinds of religion and spirituality because they have experienced this for a number of lifetimes. The outer path basically says that there are outer requirements you can fulfill and that is enough.

Now there are some students that find the ascended master teachings and they have for several lifetimes been affected by this belief. They have created certain strong separate selves. There are also some students that really do not have this belief, created over several lifetimes, but they choose to take it on in this lifetime or perhaps even for several lifetimes in order to demonstrate how to work through it.

When you find an ascended master teaching, then these selves will say, “Ah, now you have found the ultimate spiritual teaching, the ultimate spiritual path. The Catholic church wasn’t the highest teaching, it wasn’t really able to do it but the ascended masters, their teachings can do it. Now if you just follow all the outer requirements of the ascended master’s teachings and give all the decrees and invocations, then you are guaranteed to be saved, then you are guaranteed to make your ascension.”

Again, there were people who found the Summit Lighthouse teachings or the I AM teachings and they had this attitude and they transferred it to the teachings and they believed that if they kept doing all the teachings, all the decrees, following all the recommendations, all of the rules, they were guaranteed to make their ascension. Some have been disappointed after they passed from the screen of life and realized it wasn’t enough.

But again, we have done nothing in this dispensation to encourage this approach. We have in fact given many teachings on the difference between the outer path and the inner path. We have made it very, very clear that there is only one key to making your ascension and it is the resolution of psychology. There is no other way. There never has been, there never will be. This is what the fallen beings will deny and they have denied primarily because they themselves are not willing to resolve their psychology and because they do not want other people to be free, they can only manipulate people who have not resolved their psychology.

Take note of that sentence, it is only unresolved psychology that allows the fallen beings to manipulate you.

We have given many teachings on the inner path and the outer path that you can study. You can use the teachings about the separate self to realize that you have, if you have this reaction in you, you have certain separate selves that firmly believe in the outer path. And this can bring you, when you keep working with this to a point where you see it, you suddenly see it, you break through it and you accept it.

This is not entirely an easy process, I fully realize that. There are some obstacles that can prevent you from having this breakthrough and one of these obstacles that I want to bring to your attention is the ego.

Yes of course, the ego is always an obstacle but there is a specific aspect of the ego that comes into play here. We have to recognize that the ego wants to keep you trapped in a state of mind where it has control over you so the ego does not want you to discover the spiritual path. The ego would prefer that you did not find an ascended master teaching or that you did not accept it. Or that you did not go into the teaching and start following and practicing the teaching.

Given that you are in an ascended master teaching, your ego was not successful in stopping you but this does not mean, of course, that the ego simply lies down and gives up. The ego will not give up as long as you are in embodiment. What the ego will try to do is, it will try to set you up to fail on the path. It can do this in various ways but I want to mention one particular one here and it is that the ego will try to make you approach the path in such a way that the ego gets something out of it.

The ego will say, “Okay, I will allow you to go on this path but I want something in return, I want something for me.” You are not consciously aware of this but this is what is going on. There are various ways that the ego can set up this bargain with you and one of them is precisely the outer path. The ego will say, “I will allow you to study these teachings, I will allow you to practice the invocations and decrees but do not look into your psychology.” Or perhaps, “Well, you can look into some aspects of your psychology but here is an area you cannot look into.”

In other words, the ego will give you a certain outer view of what the path is about, what it takes to make progress on the path, but it is a limited view.

Still, when you come into the teachings, you feel this wave of enthusiasm and therefore you do not notice the subtleties of what the ego is doing. You just throw yourself at what the path has to offer. You read and read and read on the websites and the books, you give decrees and invocations, and from a certain perspective there is nothing wrong with this. I am not trying to say here, that you are somehow inadequate because of this or that you are making a mistake.

We are the ascended masters, we have tried to explain over and over and over again that we do not judge you the way you judge yourselves. We do not judge you the way the fallen beings judge you, we do not judge you the way other people judge you. We do not judge you at all.

Many of us have been in embodiment on this planet. We know how difficult it is, how heavy the energies are and we know one thing very, very well. You have grown up, as I said, in a difficult environment but there comes a point in your life when now you discover an ascended master teaching and we know very well that you have to start the path wherever you are at in consciousness when you find it. In other words, whatever psychology you have at the time you find the path, this is your starting point. There is nothing else that anyone can do, right?

Think about this very carefully. There is nothing else you can do. You have to start where you are at in consciousness when you find the path and this means that you will have certain attitudes, certain beliefs, certain separate selves that will color how you look at the path.

Do you understand what I am saying? It is inevitable that when you find the path you cannot see the path with the same clarity that you will have at higher levels of consciousness. How can you? You need to start somewhere. You will start the path by looking at it through a certain filter, through a certain coloring. One possible coloring is the outer path, I just need to follow these outer rules and I will make my ascension. But the other is this, that I do not need to look at my psychology or I do not need to look at certain aspects of my psychology. This I will return to later because I want to talk about another aspect of this ego bargain, the bargain the ego strikes with you.

The ego often takes advantage of this initial enthusiasm that you feel. It is a very big contrast for many of you to how you felt before. Many of you grew up, through your childhood and youth, having various difficulties. Feeling like an outsider in society, feeling put down by other people, perhaps even feeling criticized for your spiritual beliefs and the questions you were always asking. You have this sense of you were put down and because you are willing to look at yourself, if you were not willing somewhat to look at yourself you would not find the path, you are wondering whether it is true, whether there is something wrong with you. Then you find a spiritual teaching which says there was not anything wrong with you, you were simply a more evolved, more mature lifestream than most of the people who are not spiritual or who are anti-spiritual.

And this is correct. I am not saying this is not correct. But the ego then will use this, if it can, to make you jump from a certain inferiority complex to the opposite dualistic polarity of the superiority complex.

Now you feel, what the ego feels, that because you are in this ascended master teaching, which is such a high spiritual teaching, you are special, you are someone special. This we have seen over the decades, the centuries, the millennia. This can drive people’s efforts on the spiritual path for quite some time. They become very eager to fulfill all of the requirements, all of the recommendations and the more they do, the more they build this separate self that feels special, superior, very spiritual because of all the outer things that it is doing.

Is there anything wrong with this? Well, as I said, we of the ascended masters do not even look at you or your path in terms of right and wrong. We are simply looking at the mechanism in the psychology that we know from ourselves because we went through it and so we only look at how can we help you with this. It is not that it is right and wrong. It is simply a phase that most people go through when they find an ascended master teaching or find a spiritual path in some other context. It is just part of the planetary conditions and the psychology that many people have taken on. There is nothing wrong with this, there is nothing else you can do.

However, now comes another thought that I would like you to fix firmly in your mind. Do you remember the previous thought? Then you can go back and study the dictation again.

There is always something you have not seen whenever there is a crisis. If you are not at peace, there is something you have not seen.

The next thought I want you to fix firmly in your mind is that the spiritual path has stages. There are stages on the spiritual path.

Why is this so? It is so, precisely because of what I have just said. It is inevitable that when you find a spiritual path, you are at a certain level, you have a certain psychology, you have a certain perception filter, you have a certain coloring of how you look at the path. How could it be otherwise? It cannot be any other way. You have to start where you are at when you find the path and this means that when you first find the path, you are seeing the path in a certain way that appeals to you at that level of consciousness, but you cannot see the path from higher levels of consciousness.

Let us just as an example say that you are at the 48th level when you find an ascended master teaching. We have told you there are 144 levels. Well, at the 48th level you cannot even begin to fathom what these higher levels are, how you look at life at these higher levels. You simply cannot see it, you cannot grasp it and you do not need to. You just need to grasp what it takes to rise to the 49th level and then to hopefully keep going. What I am saying is that the spiritual path has stages, which means that when you start the path, you have a certain limited vision of the path. You can see what you can see, you cannot see what you cannot see.

Now comes another thought. There is nothing wrong with having the vision you have when you find the path but this vision cannot take you to the completion of the path. It does not mean it cannot take you several steps up but it cannot take you to the higher levels of the path. This means that there are certain points on the path where your vision must shift in order for you to go to the next level up.

Now, in this respect, there is another obstacle created by the ego. It is an obstacle that, when the ego projects at you, not only that you are special because you have found this ascended master teaching that is such a high teaching but also that, by finding this teaching you have almost become a perfect being right away. You have at least put yourself firmly on the path and your ascension is guaranteed if you keep following the teaching. In other words, the ego wants to make you believe that either you have shifted by finding a path or you were always special, but you just could not see it until you found this teaching. In other words, the ego wants you to believe that the vision of the path that you have when you find the path can take you to the end.

The ego will want you to think that you do not have to reconsider your vision. You do not have to realize that your vision must necessarily be limited, and that it needs to shift. It wants you to believe that the way you look at the path, at the moment you find it, is the ultimate way and it can take you to the end. It can take you to the end but it will be the bitter end and not the ascension. This you need to recognize.

There are stages of the path. What does it take to go from one stage to the next? You must shift your vision. This is why we, why Jesus had started talking about this bait and switch method that we are using. It is not because we are deceiving people but it is because we realize full well that a person at the 48th level of the path or the 48th level of consciousness can grasp a certain vision of the spiritual path but it cannot grasp the higher visions. We need to say something to give that person something that appeals to the level of consciousness and the vision they have so that they can get motivated to start the path and then we simply have to give teachings that allow the people who apply these teachings to transcend that level of consciousness, to expand their vision.

This does not mean that you suddenly gain the ultimate vision. Is there an ultimate vision of the spiritual path? Well, you could say that when you ascend you see an ultimate vision but on the other hand, people come from many different backgrounds, have many different kinds of unresolved psychology. In a sense, you could say that there is a spiritual path for each person. Each lifestream is walking its individual path that is slightly different from all others. So really, there cannot be just one ultimate vision. It is a meaningless concept.

You need to recognize that as you grow towards higher levels, your vision will continue to expand and refine and that is just part of the path. What this means is that you find the teachings, you become very enthusiastic, you apply yourself, you study the teachings, you give invocations and decrees and perhaps you do this for 10 years, perhaps you do it for five, perhaps you do it for more. But there comes a point where suddenly you are not having the same feeling of enthusiasm. The honeymoon is over, so to speak.

In those beginning years you felt you were making progress. Take very careful note of what I am saying here. You were making progress. You were making progress in that initial enthusiastic phase and as a result of that, you were rising. Let us say you started at the 48th level, perhaps you were rising up in the 60s level and you could rise with the initial understanding of the path that you had. You could rise maybe 5,10, 15 levels with that understanding of the path.

But then there comes a point where that particular calling of the path, the approach you have to the path, cannot take you further. It is like you come to a certain level and now you are actually stagnating. You are treading water, you are not moving forward and you cannot help but feel this in a certain way. Your outer mind, your ego, has to explain this because take note of what is part of the ego’s bargain with you. The ego projects that if you keep doing the outer things that you can see as important at that level, when you find the path, you will make it to the end, you will continue to make progress. So you are thinking with your conscious mind, if I just keep doing what I am doing now and applying the teachings the way I have seen them initially, I will continue to make progress.

Here you are, suddenly you are experiencing, I am not making progress anymore, I am not really getting anywhere, it feels like I am not moving, like it suddenly does not have the same meaning as it used to have.

Now, your outer mind struggles to explain this and your ego is trying to come up with some kind of explanation. For some people, the ego manages to give them an explanation that satisfies them. As I said, some people react by simply denying the feelings and continuing to focus on doing the outer path. Some people, as a result, become very judgmental of others because they are constantly straining inside themselves to follow the outer rules. They become very judgmental of others who are not following the rules the same way. Some people react by switching to the opposite extreme, becoming angry with the teachings giving up on the teachings, giving up on all spirituality.

Some of you are not willing to do either of those extreme reactions. You are not quite willing to give up on a path, but you are not willing to silence the feeling you have. You acknowledge that you are dealing with a crisis and this is, of course, the most constructive reaction. You do not make further progress by giving up on the path, and you do not make further progress by denying that there is a problem and continuing to focus on the other things.

The constructive reaction is to recognize, “I do not feel the enthusiasm, I do not feel like I am making progress, what is happening?” The reason for this is that the vision of the path, the understanding of the path, the approach to the path that you started out with has taken you as far as it can take you. In order to go to the next level up, you have to shift your view, your approach to the path. What does this mean? It does not mean that you shift to the ultimate understanding, but it means you shift to the next level up that can take you another 5, 10, 15 levels of consciousness higher, whatever you can see at that level. This is why as I said, there is always, whenever there is any kind of crisis, any kind of slowdown, there is something you have not seen.

Again, you need to consider: “What is it I have not seen?”

It is something in your outer mind that needs to shift. In a sense, we could say that at the inner levels your growth is ready to step up to the next level but you cannot step up to the left next level because your outer mind is fixated on a certain view of the spiritual path. Until you question that view you cannot consciously move on and that is why you experience at the conscious level the tension, the meaninglessness, the hopelessness, the sense that you are not getting anywhere and it is all because there is a certain viewpoint, a certain belief, a certain image of the path that your outer mind is fixated on.

Again, it is not that it was necessarily wrong. That image took you to your present level from the level you had when you started. It is just time to let go of it and rise to a higher view of the path.

So, there is a multiplicity of these steps you need to go through. There are many individual beliefs that people can have, but again, I will give you some that can at least help you get started on this because many of you will have some of the same patterns because you have taken them on perhaps in past lifetimes in order to demonstrate how people can rise above them. We begin by recognizing that the essential aspect of the spiritual path is to come to see something you cannot currently see. I said the essential aspect is the resolution of psychology, but what is the resolution of psychology?

What is unresolved psychology?

It is that there is some viewpoint, some image that you have in your psychology that your mind is fixated on. It is an image that is holding your mind at a certain level of consciousness, in a certain view of yourself, of life, of the universe, of God and it is limiting you. It is keeping you at that certain level. We have said there is a particular illusion for each of the 144 levels of consciousness but there can be individual versions of these illusions. Even though we have given the course on The Path to Self Mastery where we seek to help you rise from one level to the next, there are still individual illusions you might have at say the 63rd level so that you can have two people who are at that level and they can benefit from reading the teaching that applies to that level, but they still have certain individual beliefs.

That means that, as we have said before, we cannot give you a mechanical process. We cannot, even though we have attempted to give a course that applies to a lot of people with the course to self mastery, it is still not a mechanical process. We cannot have 100 people that follow the course, who take each book, give the invocations, read the teachings and then in the end they have all reached the 96th level of consciousness. It cannot be done.

There is always a general teaching that can be given, but it needs to be applied individually. In other words, you have a certain belief in your mind and it is expressed in a specific way that has meaning for you. It may not have the same meaning to another person. The other person may have the same belief, but in that person’s mind is expressed with slightly different words. Take note of what I am saying.

What is a word? Go back to Genesis, as flawed as it is, “and God gave Adam the power to name all of the animals and whatever name Adam gave them, that was the name there of.” This does not apply just to Adam. Of course it applies to human beings regardless of the sex of the physical body. The simple fact is that you are naming everything in the material world by using words and words are representations of the thing but they are not the thing in itself, they are a description. They are a description from a distance.

Now, why do you need to name something from a distance? It is because you have gone into the level of consciousness found on earth as an unnatural planet. Therefore, you are not able to project your consciousness into a particular phenomenon. If you could project your consciousness into an apple and experience the consciousness at the emotional, mental and identity levels that precipitated the physical apple, you would experience the consciousness that created the apple. But instead, you are in the state of mind where you see the apple as a thing that is separated from yourself and in order to communicate with others and in order to name it for yourself and feel that you know what an apple is you have to apply a word, you have to describe it with a word.

So words are very much part of the consciousness of earth. Words can be very dualistic and they can be used dualistically but they do not have to be dualistic, they can also be simply descriptions. But even when they are used just as descriptions, as neutral descriptions, then they are still only descriptions, representations of it.

Why is this important? Because in the past, you were exposed to a certain trauma by the fallen beings. This created a reaction in you, an emotional reaction, a mental reaction, an identity level reaction, certainly also a physical reaction. These reactions you had in your mind, they were feelings, they were thoughts, they were a sense of identity but they were experiences.

But it was not these experiences that created the particular self that came out of it, whether it was your original birth trauma that created this primal self or other selves. A self is not created out of the experience. A self is created because the mind grapples to understand the experience because the mind functions in a way that if it can understand something, it thinks it can control it, and then it thinks it can avoid it again.

What actually creates a self is that there is a certain thought, a certain belief expressed in words and words can have similar meanings to different people, but not necessarily completely identical meanings. What I am saying is that you could have two people that both experienced a very similar physical event and they both had very similar feelings or experiences of this event. They both created a self, based on this event, but they used slightly different words to formulate that self and the belief behind it. What does this mean? Well, that means that, what is it going to take for a particular person to resolve a particular self? You have to come to see the belief that defines the self and that means you have to come to see it in words, how it was worded originally. Then when you see it in words you have to come to see that any statement made in words can be neutralized or resolved with another statement made with words.

In other words, you were in a very stressful situation, you formulated a certain belief in your mind because this was the only way you could see it in that particular situation. But if you had been able to step outside of this situation you would have seen it differently you would have formulated a different belief. But because the fallen beings have manipulated you into a very stressful situation, you formulated a very limited belief about yourself and what you were supposed to do, or not do, or what you could or could not do on this planet. This is a limited belief that is holding you back.

What is going to free you from this belief?

Well, it is that you see the limitations. In other words, we might say that the belief that you came up with is like a mathematical formula. The words, the combination of the words, form a formula, a matrix, but as all mathematical formulas it has a solution and the solution is that it can be resolved with another statement in words that neutralizes the previous statement. That means that you now have two people who had a similar experience, experienced the same physical circumstances, but each of them formed a slightly different belief. You can take the statement that would resolve this belief for one person and give it to the other person and it is not going to work for that person. They need to have a slightly different worded statement.

What I am explaining is that the key to resolving a self is to find the particular formula of words, the particular expression of words that shifts your mind, that resolves the previous belief, that neutralizes it and you see it as an illusion. We can go back to a very practical thing, there was a time when people believed, and this was again a statement in words, “The earth is flat.” How can you be free from that belief? You come to accept the statement that says the earth is round. There was a time when people believed that the earth is the center of the universe. You are freed of that by the statement, “No, because the earth revolves around the sun and therefore, it cannot be the center.”

This is of course more complex with these beliefs but you will see that many of you have already gone through this process of discovering a certain worded statement that suddenly shifts your mind. Suddenly you look at a certain issue a different way.

This messenger has described several of them. For example, he came to the point where he suddenly experienced in his mind the statement, “I do not have to do anything on earth.” This resolved a previous self where he thought that there were certain things he had to accomplish on earth, and that he could not leave until he had accomplished them. He suddenly saw, “There is nothing I have to do. I can make my ascension after this lifetime. I do not have to stay with earth indefinitely. I do not have to reembody again and again. I do not “have to” do anything. It does not mean I cannot do things and that I do not want to do things, but I do not have to. I am not compelled to do things.”

For each of you there is that statement that you can discover and this is what you need to do several times on your path because you will come to this point where your view of life, your view of the path, has taken you as high up on the levels of consciousness as it can take you and now you are stagnating, you are standing still.

What you need to do is look at, “What is my basic attitude to the path? What are my beliefs?” Then you need to realize this comes from a certain self that you have taken on and you need to discover the belief behind that self, about what the path is. It could be many, many things, your relationship to God, your relationship to yourself, your view of yourself, the belief that you are a sinner, that you are inadequate, that you did something wrong in past lives. These are general things that you can use to examine yourself and your own reaction.

Now, there are some of you and in fact most of you, who will come to a certain point where you are not only connecting to what we have called the birth trauma, or perhaps you are connecting to the birth trauma, but it is not necessarily that something was done to you.

We have so far mostly talked about the birth trauma as the fallen beings attacking, but this is not the case for all of you. All of you will have had at least certain past lifetimes, that may not have been the birth trauma, but certain other lifetimes where you did something that you later realized was wrong. You might very well have judged this based on the epic mindset projected by the fallen beings that you had made a major mistake. For some of you, this can be such a painful thing that you have buried it deep in your consciousness. Some of you do not even know about it but others have had some insight into what you have done in a past life.

Again, you found the spiritual path and you had a certain view of the path and your ego made a certain bargain with you. So the ego might have said, “If you really apply yourself to the path, you do not have to look at this thing you did in the past. It will just be dissolved by the decrees and you do not have to really go into it and really look at it.” This of course, can work at a certain level because when you first find the path, you are not ready to deal with such a deep trauma from such a long time ago. You need to have an initial period where you deal with lesser traumas. You establish yourself on the path. You get some more understanding.

But there will inevitably come a point where you will have to deal with the deeper traumas. We might say that if you start giving decrees for example, they will dissolve certain energies but they will often dissolve first the less dense energies, the ones that are more easy to resolve. Then after a time you will get to a pool of more dense energy and it takes longer to dissolve.

It is the same thing with these traumas. You start with some of the more simple traumas because that builds you a certain momentum but then there will inevitably come a point where you have to deal with one of the deeper traumas, perhaps the trauma caused by you making what you consider a severe mistake. But if your ego had made you believe that you didn’t have to deal with this particular trauma then your outer mind will resist doing so. In other words, you are coming to a point where the next step on your path is to deal with this trauma but your outer mind is resisting.

This will cause you to stand still. It can even cause you to feel that, “but everything I’ve done so far was meaningless because here I am still facing this trauma that I thought I wouldn’t have to deal with” and there is only one way beyond this. You have to be willing to deal with it. You have to make a decision with your conscious mind that you are willing to deal with it. This may become easier if you can discover a self that resists and discover whatever worded statement defined that self. But you can still accomplish something with the outer mind, deciding, “I am willing to deal with this trauma.”

Another aspect of this is that, what is it that makes a trauma painful? Well, it is partly the emotional reaction, it is just the feelings are very intense. For some people when they find the spiritual path, their ego makes the bargain, “Yes you can follow this outer path and then you do not have to go into the feelings, you do not have to look at the emotions, because that will be taken care of automatically.” This is something that the ego gets because the ego knows that if you do not go into the emotions and resolve them you will not be free of them and that means the ego still has some control over you.

The only way to deal with this is to make a decision with the outer mind, as this messenger did at a certain point, that he will not resist feeling these feelings. Instead of trying to resist them and push them back into the subconscious, he will go right into them no matter how painful it was because he realized that it would only be painful temporarily. Once you have gone into them you would realize it was not really as bad as you thought. The ego projects at you that if you go into these feelings you will die. It will be too much. It will be overwhelming. You go into the feelings and you realize you did not actually die, you are still there and it was not quite as scary.

You can have this willingness. You can use the decrees and invocations to dissolve the energy behind the feelings but behind a certain feeling there is always a self. This self is not just at the emotional level, it is also at the mental level. That means that there comes another level where you need to be willing to look at the thoughts behind the feelings.

Why did you for example, feel embarrassed? You have this very strong feeling of embarrassment at the emotional body but behind it is a mental belief that causes you to feel that “You should feel embarrassed because you did something that was so-and-so stupid.” You also need to be willing to look into that because the ego can make you believe that, “Okay, you can do all these other practices, but you don’t need to look into the thoughts” and you do, you need to look into this. What are the thoughts? What are the beliefs? You might even have to go to the identity level and see that this comes from a certain view of yourself as a person who could make serious mistakes and it is wrong to make serious mistakes. You need to be willing to go into this and look at it.

This is not an easy thing and there are certain stages of the path where this will be difficult to do. I am not saying this applies to everybody. I am not saying you should feel bad if you cannot do it. You need to start where you are and use the tools that are appropriate for that level but there are many of you who are at a point where you can start realizing a very simple mechanism, namely that there is a resistance in you to applying an ascended master teaching to yourself.

As I said, you can go back to the Summit Lighthouse that had a very judgmental culture and in that culture it was so, that when we gave a dictation that exposed a certain psychological mechanism, there were many people that could instantly see how this applied to people they knew but they resisted looking at themselves. In this teaching we have done everything we can to not encourage this kind of attitude because we have made it very clear that it is all about psychology. Nevertheless the ego will always resist you being free and that means the ego is going to try to project at you a certain resistance to seeing something in yourself. That means the ego will try to block your conscious mind from taking a teaching and a specific dictation and looking at yourself and seeing, “How does this apply to me?”

At the lower levels of the path you cannot do this because it is too painful. The ego attempts to put you in a catch-22 where you have accepted a certain sense of superiority because you have found an ascended master teaching and you are applying it very eagerly and this makes you feel special, makes you feel superior. But then the ego projects at you that this feeling could be shattered if you were to acknowledge that you have that particular aspect of the psychology that the ascended masters just talked about. So you should not apply this to yourself. This gives you at the conscious level and even at subconscious levels a certain resistance to seeing something in yourself. But what have I said? The key to progress is to see something you cannot see now. You need, in order to make progress, you need to see certain selves.

When you are at one of these crisis points where you feel like you are not making progress it is because there is a self you have not seen. The only way beyond it is to see it, dissolve it and now you are free. You are free of it. Suddenly those feelings you had that you were not making progress, that you were not getting anywhere, it was all meaningless. They are gone. They are dissolved. But if you do not look, you cannot see. It is like the old story of the English naval commander* who during a battle was told that the flagship had signaled to retreat and he had a patch in front of one eye and he put a binocular in front of that eye and said, “I see no signal – Attack!”

That is what the ego makes you do. You are not opening your eyes to look for these selves. So what can shift this?

You can say it comes from a certain self and it is primarily a self that judges yourself. This is a self or even a conglomerate of selves that are very, very aggressively created by the fallen beings. It is a certain attitude that especially applies to many spiritual students, not all because there are some spiritual students that have such severe blocks, that they are not willing to look at themselves. Most of you and certainly those of you who are making progress on the path, you are willing to look at yourself.

You can look back at your life and you can see that you are not the kind of people who have been always projecting out that it was other peoples’ fault, that other people wronged you. You have to large degree taken responsibility for yourself been willing to look at yourself and say, “What do I need to change?” So you are willing to look at yourself and that is what drives you on the path. But the ego has put a certain mechanism up that there are certain things you should not look at because it is too painful, it is too dangerous, or the ascended masters would condemn you if you had this problem or that you would have to condemn yourself if you had this problem.

So here you are, you have risen through various levels of the spiritual path, now you are at a certain level where you need to deal with a specific self in your consciousness but there is another self, another aspect of ego that makes you feel that if you had this particular tendency, it would be very, very bad. Let us just take an example, among millions of examples, if you were very critical of other people and if you were to acknowledge this it would be very, very bad. We have seen people who are very critical of others but they do not see it. Why don’t they see it? Because if you are critical of others, as we have said, you cannot do to others unless you have first done to yourself. That means you are also very critical of yourself. You are judging yourself very harshly, but you cannot bear this so you push it into the subconscious mind. Right?

So what is the mechanism you have, the self you have in your consciousness? It is a self that judges yourself and for a time you did not have to deal with this. You dealt with the things that were more easy to resolve. But now you have reached a point on your path where you cannot go beyond this level unless you deal with this self that is very judgmental of yourself. But how can you do this?

If you were to acknowledge that you are very judgmental you would judge yourself very harshly through this self. You would feel this was very, very bad. You would have to feel bad about yourself and you would even think, or the ego or the fallen beings will project at you that we the ascended masters would condemn you for having been so judgmental. In other words, you are projecting onto us that we are like the fallen beings or like this self, but we are not.

So what I am saying here is this, all of you have certain mechanisms in yourself. It is not that you have all of the possible mechanisms but you have certain selves that form this catch-22 where you think, this particular self, this particular mechanism is the worst you could possibly have. It is so bad to be this way and if you were to acknowledge that you had this, it would be too much, it would be unbearable. You would condemn yourself so harshly and the ascended masters would condemn you if you had this tendency. Therefore, your ego is projecting at you, “You can look at many other things in your psychology but do not look at this. It is too much! Do not even go there.”

When you follow the path that we have outlined, you will come to a point where you have resolved so many other things that it is no longer overwhelming to deal with this self. You can deal with it but it requires that shift in the outer mind where you decide, I am willing to deal with it. Sometimes you just need to make that decision. This messenger can look back at his path and see how for many years, there were certain things he was willing to look at, but there were certain things he resisted to look at partly because he felt that, “Oh as a good ascended master student there are certain things that I should not have done and if I had done them, I would no longer feel I am a good ascended master student.” Then when he became a messenger, he felt that, “now since I am a messenger for the ascended masters, there is certain unresolved psychology that I should not have” and this gave him a resistance to looking at it.

But whoever said that in order to become a messenger, you have to have completely resolved psychology? Perhaps some previous messengers either said this or believed it or perhaps their followers believed it. But this was not the case and if you take a neutral look at previous messengers you can see that they did not have a completely resolved psychology. They had certain unresolved psychology, which Guru Ma has acknowledged in her book. This required for this messenger, a shift, where he came to see this and he came to see that the real problem is not to have unresolved psychology because it is inevitable on a planet like earth that you have unresolved psychology. You will have some unresolved psychology until you reach the 144th level and resolve that last illusion.

So when he saw this he could make this switch of realizing that what holds you back on the path is not unresolved psychology. What holds you back on the path is unwillingness to look at the unresolved psychology because if you do not look at it, you cannot resolve it. This might require you to step up to another level where you recognize that the primary mechanism used by the fallen beings against the more mature spiritual students is that they want you to believe, as the expression is in the Catholic church that there is that unforgivable sin, there is some psychology that is so bad that it cannot be resolved.

But what have we told you over and over and over again? Nothing in an unascended sphere is permanent. Nothing on an unnatural planet is permanent. Everything is created out of the Mater-light, out of energy that is fixed into a certain matrix but no fear-based lower energy can ever be permanent. It can be dissolved. There is no energy that cannot be raised into purity. There is no belief stated in words that cannot be counteracted by another statement of words.

In other words, there is no unresolved psychology that cannot be resolved. There is unresolved psychology, but there is no such thing as unresolvable psychology. Anything in your psychology can be overcome, but it can only be overcome by looking at it. So what are the fallen beings doing? They are trying to do everything they can to prevent you from looking at the psychology.

And that my beloved is the final thought that I will give you in the time and space that is available. I am not saying it is the final thought we will ever give you but is the final thought I will give you for now. Therefore, I trust that those of you who feel you are standing still, you have reached a certain crisis point, you will carefully study this dictation. Perhaps listen to it many times and really allow the words that I am saying to shift your consciousness.

There is nothing that you cannot resolve. There is nothing you cannot be free from. There is nothing you cannot rise above. There is nothing you cannot transcend!

And when you continue to transcend you will ascend.

*Refers to Admiral Horatio Nelson in the 1801 Battle of Copenhagen. It is believed that his statement gave rise to the saying, “To Turn a Blind Eye” meaning to ignore undesirable information.

How to deal with the deep dissatisfaction in life

Question: Kim, thank you for the teachings you bring by being the messenger, it helps me a lot. I found the ascended masters teachings more than 20 years ago. I tried to figure out what my true purpose is, my divine plan. I established my connection with my higher self, learned to be aware of the messages of life, I learned forgiveness and unconditional love. Thanks to this past, my life has changed radically. But from time to time, I feel dissatisfied and lose the meaning of life, I get the feeling that I’m not living my own life. And it takes some time to find the motivation to move on. I would like to understand what is at the root of this deep dissatisfaction? How can these emotional and mental traumas be healed? How can a connection with my higher self be permanent and stable, so I can consciously manifest the kingdom of God on earth and consciously fulfill my divine plan?

Well, based on my personal experience, I would say that there is sort of a dream amongst spiritual people; I had it myself when I was younger, I’ve seen it in many, many people, that if we find the right spiritual teaching, and if we practice it very eagerly, then there will come a point where we break through. And then we are either enlightened or whatever concept people have of this, when we break through and now everything is just wonderful after that.

I had it myself for many years, I can remember during the 1990s, I was thinking: “Gosh, I’ve gone through so much in my psychology already, how much can be left?” But then, after we got all the teachings about the birth trauma, the coming from an natural planet to earth, and receiving the birth trauma and having lived for a very long time on earth, it sort of changed for me, because I realized that there is no permanent state on a planet like earth, it’s an unnatural planet.

We are going to be going through stuff in our psychology as long as we’re in embodiment, either in our personal psychology or something we take on from the collective that we are processing. So we’re always going to be dealing with something.

I think the first step there is to, at least this is what I have done, I’ve given up the idea that I should have some kind of breakthrough and now I’m in the ultimate state of consciousness, I’m enlightened. I realize that there will always be things that will come up in my psychology. The other thing that I can see is, when I look back at over 40 years I’ve been on the spiritual path is that there are certain cycles, you know—there are certain stages. There are stages where we are definitely growing.

Often, when you find a new teaching, you’re very enthusiastic about it, you’re really applying it but you’re doing it with a certain vision that you have of what you’re supposed to be doing. When I for example, found the Summit Lighthouse, I was at a certain level of consciousness and I could look at the spiritual path a certain way. So I approached it that way. But I can see also that there has been several times where I have come to a turning point. And now I was actually meant to move to a different level of the path but I had some kind of attitude, some kind of view, perception filter that prevented me from moving on, I was sort of attached to a certain way of looking at the path.

Those are the periods I could look back and I wasn’t so enthusiastic, I was maybe dissatisfied, maybe as it says here, I lost the meaning of life because it wasn’t quite so meaningful. It wasn’t so exciting. I didn’t feel like so much was happening. That’s because I wasn’t growing. Then you become dissatisfied when you’re not growing.

It’s not just a matter of traumas that need to be healed. It can be a trauma we need to deal with, but it can also be that we need to shift our attitude like I said, give up the idea of this ultimate breakthrough. Give up the idea that for example, you should be more evolved than you are. I mean I can see back many, many people in ascended master teachings who think that: “I have been on these teachings for 10 years, 20 years, I should be further along than I am, I should be at peace, I should have this, I should have that, I should have a permanent connection to my higher self. I should be able to manifest any kind of life I want.”

I think there comes a point where you just need to shift out of that, you need to give up these ideas and realize that the path is really an ongoing process of looking at ourselves, looking at our own psychology, and seeing some kind of limitation, seeing some self and letting go of it.

What you get for that is when you give up this desire for some ultimate breakthrough, you’ll get peace of mind, because you’re not always feeling like you should be better or you should be somewhere else or you should be making more progress. You know you’re growing every day and you’re simply at peace with being who you are and being where you’re at on the path, even though you’re not perfect.

I don’t worry about what level of consciousness I’m at. You can say that’s easy enough, I know I’m above the 96th level but nevertheless, I don’t worry about it as such, I just keep looking for the next thing I need to process in my psychology and then I do that. I don’t have this sense that I should be somewhere. I don’t have this anymore. I used to feel much more that: “Oh, I should be perfect as a messenger, I couldn’t make a mistake and this and that.”

Now if I make a mistake, I learn from it and then I move on. If there’s something that comes up in my psychology, I look at it and then I resolve it. I don’t resist looking at something like I did many years ago where I would resist because I couldn’t bear to have some kind of problem in my psychology.

I think it’s a matter of just shifting, and seeing that the path is an ongoing process, we will gradually improve and when we reach some ultimate level of consciousness, that’s when we can no longer hold on to the physical body, and then we ascend. That’s how I look at it. I hope that was helpful.

A misunderstanding of how spiritual techniques work

Question: Dear Jesus, I am increasingly troubled by the paradox you present with your messenger Kim, who reveals profound understanding of the nature of the divine and the Christ, yet presents us with nursery rhymes as the solution to achieving non-dual states. I have tried them but I just don’t think the Elohim are paying attention. I know because I have achieved non dual states before, and I just aint gettin em using the nursery rhymes. Is it me? (of course it is, I know).

My real question – Has anyone reported achieving a true non-dual union with the Universal Christ using them since the inception of your site?

I can understand that someone can look at the decrees and rosaries we present as mere nursery rhymes. I can understand that someone would use our techniques with the expectation of having a spiritual experience. However, I cannot understand how someone can give the techniques with the attitude that they are nothing more than nursery rhymes and AT THE SAME TIME expect to get a spiritual experience. That is a misunderstanding of how spiritual techniques work.

A person might hate cars and think they are responsible for killing people, scarring the landscape and producing global warming. Yet if that person gets into a car and turns the key, the engine will most likely start. The reason being that technology is a mechanical device that works regardless of what you think about it. In contrast, a spiritual technique is NOT a mechanical device.

What you put into giving a spiritual technique has a direct influence on what you get out of it. If you want a holy experience, approach the technique with an attitude of reverence and holiness. If you cannot do that, simply admit so and don’t use the technique. Find another technique that you can approach with a more constructive attitude. And stop projecting your own inner paradox upon anything outside yourself. Deal with the problem at its origin. Listen to your own words, “I am increasingly troubled…” and be willing to admit that if you are not at peace, you have a problem that you need to solve.

Decrees and rosaries are not designed specifically to produce non-dual experiences. A non-dual experience is an inner experience. Such an experience is possible because the Conscious You is made out of God’s own being and consciousness. Therefore, the Conscious You can never lose the ability to tune in to a level of reality that is beyond the dualistic world view of the mind of anti-christ and the physical senses.

The Conscious You can have many different types of non-dual experiences and just about anyone giving decrees or rosaries with the correct attitude will have some form of spiritual experience, either as the technique is given or upon meditating afterwards.

However, rosaries and decrees are very active and out-going techniques, as opposed to contemplative and in-going techniques. Thus, they are not designed to give you a non-dual experience but to give you a tool for resolving dualistic beliefs and invoking and directing spiritual energy.

Obviously, as you clear the four levels of your mind, you will gain greater clarity, and this will open the way for spiritual experiences of various kinds. Yet this might take years, depending on how much junk is stored in the attic. So it is wise to approach any spiritual technique with not only patience but with complete non-attachment to what type of experiences you have as a result of using the technique.

The reason for this is that a non-dual experience cannot be “produced” at will. It is not a mechanical product of using a magical technique, and this taste of Heaven cannot be taken by force. A non-dual experience should be viewed as a gift that may or may not be given. You cannot force the experience, so all you can do is to make your mind as receptive as possible to having the experience. And only when you are completely non-attached to whether or not the gift is given, will you have maximum receptivity. That is why the Zen Buddhists talk about having the beginner’s mind that is open to spontaneous experiences instead of demanding them. That is why I said:

Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. (Luke 18:17)

If you use your analytical mind to set up conditions for how you think the experience can or should be produced, you will only push the experience away from you. And if you use your emotions to set up expectations that you are supposed to have such an experience – thereby setting yourself up to feel disappointed or cheated if you don’t have it – you have blocked the experience before it can happen.

There are many spiritual seekers who had spontaneous non-dual experiences when they first discovered the spiritual path or even before. Some of them became obsessed with these experiences, thinking they were supposed to have them all the time. This has led some seekers into an endless pursuit of “peak experiences,” always chasing a goal that seems beyond their reach. And when they do have some experience, they feel it isn’t enough and immediately start longing for the next one. Some even become so fixated on having such experiences that they use drugs to supposedly produce them.

It is wise to look at spiritual experiences as having one purpose only, namely to demonstrate to you that there IS a state of consciousness beyond normal human experience. This should show you that the spiritual path is real and that there is a reward at the end of the path. Thus, a spiritual experience – even if you only had one in a lifetime – should be sufficient encouragement to make you pursue the spiritual path—for a lifetime.

Some seekers have been misled by certain false gurus – and even some otherwise true gurus – into building the expectation that the goal of spiritual practice is to have non-dual experiences all the time. They have set up a vision of the meditator, sitting in a cave in the Himalayas and experiencing constant bliss. Indeed, there are a few people whose spiritual mission is to hold the balance for planet Earth while being in embodiment and in constant meditation.

Yet for the vast majority of spiritual seekers – and the operative words are “vast majority” – this is not their Divine plan. You are not here to indulge in spiritual experiences. You are here to express your Christhood by ministering to other people and helping them grow spiritually. Doing something to raise the consciousness of other people and purify the planet is far more important than having peak experiences.

Take note of what I am saying here. There is a common misconception that having peak experiences will lead to spiritual growth and permanently raise your consciousness. Yet many people have such experiences and find it very difficult to integrate them into their daily lives and normal state of consciousness. Some fluctuate back and forth between living a normal life and frantically seeking peak experiences, being unhappy with either extreme.

Yet the reality is that a peak experience can be a detriment to your spiritual progress if you do not approach it as described above. As I said, some people become very focused on themselves and constantly seek the next peak experience. Others become prideful, thinking they must be spiritually advanced because they had such a high experience in the past. They feel entitled to have more experiences, becoming angry when they do not appear. Such attitudes will only block your growth.

The reality is that all spiritual seekers will progress beyond a certain point ONLY when they overcome the self-centeredness that springs from the ego and begin to selflessly seek to do something for other people or for the planet. Obviously, many people have daily responsibilities, so Mother Mary’s rosaries are designed to help you do something to raise the planetary consciousness right in your own living room.

The goal that I and Mother Mary have is to give people tools for systematically raising their consciousness and making the progress permanent. Our techniques are designed to gradually raise your consciousness rather than giving you an experience that is so far beyond your daily consciousness that you cannot integrate it. Obviously, you may have a spiritual experience as a result of using our tools, but it is wise not to expect it.

The real goal is to permanently raise your consciousness so your entire waking state of mind becomes a non-dual experience. However, take note that when this begins to happen, it might seem like you no longer have any peak experiences. A peak experience is per definition something that is beyond your normal experience. So it is actually possible to permanently attain a higher state of consciousness without fully realizing what is happening. You simply become so used to a higher state of consciousness that what used to be a peak experience has now become normal and it seems like you have no more peak experiences. Thus, it is good to once in a while look back and realize that you have made significant progress compared to where you used to be in consciousness.

The bottom line is that a non-dual experience is beyond duality. Giving any spiritual technique while expecting or demanding – even longing for – a non-dual experience is in the realm of duality. How could you possibly use the dualistic mind to produce a non-dual experience? Thus, the more you want a non-dual experience the less likely that you will have it. Only when you find ways to set aside your dualistic expectations and demands, will you be receptive to a non-dual experience. In the spiritual field, attitude is everything. What you send into the cosmic mirror is what will be reflected back to you.

Note from Kim: I have personally had many non-dual experiences as a result of giving decrees and rosaries. I have practiced such techniques for over 25 years and they have many times given me high experiences, especially as I meditated after invoking spiritual energy. Personally I have found that Mother Mary’s rosaries and invocations are very efficient for making me receptive to a spiritual experience, especially when I give them slowly and meditate on the words.

I did all the prayers but no change in my external condition

Question: Dear Jesus, I have faithfully said all the prayers for the last one year as much as a normal man can in a day. I find that there is no change in my external conditions. To add to it I have introduced my wife and my friends to these prayers and they too experience the same.

Is it time for us to give up now? or is our past karma so heavy that we have to spend a lot more time to improve our living conditions. ( I am from Mumbai India).
If we give up this site I don’t think we will have any more faith in anything else ever. We will be not co-creators but wanderers in this universe.

You raise an important question, namely when to give up on a spiritual technique. The short answer is to never give up, meaning that you never leave yourself in a vacuum. You never go backwards, feeling like you have no faith in anything or nothing to look forward to. You only stop using a technique when you have found a better one with which to replace it.

What I present on this website is a systematic path that leads you gradually toward a higher state of consciousness. When you fully understand this path, you realize that progress never stops. When you fully commit yourself to ongoing progress, you realize that you never give up. You never allow your ego or the forces that oppose your progress to manipulate you into a corner, where it seems like your only way to go is backwards.

When you are committed to growth, you realize that you always have the option to go forward, to come up higher. So if you feel a given technique is not working for you, you have more than one option for responding to that situation. You do not have to reason that your only option is to give up and have nothing. This is precisely what your ego and the dark forces want you to feel—they want to stop your progress. It is for good reason that people say discouragement is the sharpest tool in the devil’s toolkit.

Therefore, the rule is simple. If you get a strong inner impulse that it is time to stop practicing a spiritual technique and look for a different one, then by all means follow it. If you have not received such an impulse – an impulse you know comes from your Christ self – then don’t stop using your current technique. Instead, consider how you could improve the way you practice the technique, including your approach to it or to spiritual techniques in general.

Here are the main reasons a spiritual technique might not be working for you:

It is not a valid technique. For example, it might be released by the forces seeking to deceive humankind. One of the main lessons I give on this website is the need to develop your discernment so that you can get intuitive insights from your Christ self. You can then learn to expose false techniques.
It is not an efficient technique for you. Again, this can best be determined by an intuitive insight from your Christ self.
You have outgrown the technique and you need to look for a new one but your outer mind has not been open to doing so. Again, your Christ self is the only way to know, but very few people outgrow a technique in a year.
The technique was once valid – meaning that it was sponsored by the Ascended Host – but this is no longer the case. Again, your Christ self is the best guide although we generally do find ways to communicate this.
The technique is valid for you, but you have not practiced the technique long enough to see results.
The technique is valid for you but you have not taken the right approach to practicing it.

The techniques on this website – and especially Mother Mary’s rosaries – are both valid and very efficient. No technique can produce equal results for all people, yet consider the saying: “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” There is a reason you were attracted to this website in the first place and felt the inner urge to use the techniques offered. Therefore, it is prudent to reason that the techniques will work for you. I strongly encourage you not to give up but to instead consider how you could improve your approach to using the techniques. To help you on this, let me use your letter to make some suggestions.

Idea 1
You say: I have faithfully said all the prayers for the last one year as much as a normal man can in a day. I find that there is no change in my external conditions.”

There is a reason I said, “In your patience possess ye your souls.” Although I commend you for practicing the prayers on this website for a full year, I must say that it is not long enough for most people to see changes in their outer situation. Many people have practiced valid spiritual techniques for decades without seeing visible results (but feeling many inner benefits).

Idea 2
You say: “I find that there is no change in my external conditions.”

As mentioned above, you always need to be on guard against your ego manipulating you into a corner where it seems like you have to make a black-and-white or an either-or decision. Your ego does not want you to continue using a valid spiritual technique, so when you do start using a technique, it is trying to set you up to become discouraged.

One way of doing so is to induce into your mind the expectation that a spiritual technique should produce physical results and that it should do so within a certain time frame. Thus, when the time is up and the results are not manifest, your ego will tell you that the only possible conclusion is that the technique is not working and thus you should give up. This is an age-old trick and many people have fallen for it. Please don’t join them.

Idea 3
You say: “I find that there is no change in my external conditions.”

There is no valid reason for assuming that practicing a spiritual technique should and must produce a physical result. This is an expectation created by the ego and dark forces and it has caused millions of religious people to feel that their prayers were not answered—even causing many to lose faith in their religion or in all religion.

As I explain throughout this website, the universe is a mirror. The physical conditions you encounter are simply the mirror images of your own state of consciousness. In other words, the cause is your state of consciousness and your outer conditions are only the effects. As I trust is obvious, if you want to change something, you must change the cause instead of seeking to work at the level of the effects. If you want to change the movie on a screen, don’t seek to change the screen. Go to the projection room and change the film strip in the projector.

My point is that the only way to truly change your outer conditions is to change your consciousness. Thus, if you pray or practice a spiritual technique with the expectation that this will – in itself and automatically – change your outer conditions, you are seeking to do the impossible. ALL valid spiritual techniques are designed to help you change your state of consciousness. And when you do so, your outer conditions will change—in due time, as they filter through the four levels of the material universe.

Idea 4
You say: “I find that there is no change in my external conditions.”

It makes a fundamental difference when you start practicing a technique with the direct aim of transforming your state of consciousness instead of expecting outer results. You will see far better results. They will be inner results, but they will be significant enough that you won’t even consider giving up on the technique as long as it improves your state of mind.

In fact, it is preferable to practice a technique without expectations of physical results. It is only when you are non-attached to whether or not you get physical results that the technique will be fully effective. Thus, we might say that you will only get the maximum physical results when you are no longer looking for such results—you practice the technique for the reward of raising your consciousness.

I am well aware that many people begin praying or practicing a technique specifically because they are suffering from physical limitations and their motivation is to change those conditions. I am not trying to make light of people’s suffering or belittle their motivation—you have to start with the motivation that is relevant to you. Yet if you truly want results from a technique, you must be willing to refine your motivation as you grow in awareness.

Thus, here are some higher motivations for practicing a spiritual technique:

You realize the truth that your consioucness must change before your outer conditions can change. Thus, you make it your main goal to use the technique to raise your consciousness.
You feel more peace, more clarity or more energy after practicing a technique, and this is a reward in itself.
When you give a rosary, you feel the light of God flowing from your higher self through your being and this is more than enough motivation to keep going.
You realize that the light will gradually transform your outer situation.
You realize that the light you invoke will also transform planetary conditions, and you feel a love for helping other people and the Earth itself.
You feel such a love for Mother Mary and the cause of the Ascended Host that you simply cannot help giving a rosary.

Perhaps you can see that what I am describing here is a gradual transformation away from self-centered motives and towards motives that are focused on improving the conditions for all life. This is an essential key to achieving maximum results from any spiritual technique. A valid spiritual technique simply will not reinforce your ego’s desires. It will only work when you separate yourself from the ego’s desires and reconnect to the higher desires of your spiritual self.

Idea 5
You say: “ Is it time for us to give up now? or is our past karma so heavy that we have to spend a lot more time to improve our living conditions. (I am from Mumbai India).”

You must always consider that when you live in a particular area, you not only have your personal karma but also the collective karma of the area. There is a reason you chose to embody in that area, and for many spiritual people part of the reason is that you wanted to help improve the conditions for all people in the area. In other words, you might have volunteered to help carry the burden of the collective karma. You have taken on a portion of that karma in addition to your personal karma (if you had any) and only when that is transmuted can you improve your outer conditions.

Thus, it might take some time to transmute this burden. You may also have chosen not to go too far above the other people in your area because it is part of your spiritual mission to help them take the next step. This can be revealed only through inner attunement with your Christ self, so that you begin to remember your divine plan.

Idea 6
You say: “ If we give up this site I don’t think we will have any more faith in anything else ever.”

This can only be your ego talking. There is no way your Christ self would make such a statement. This is precisely the plot of the ego that I described earlier. Simply see it for what it is and dismiss it as an outright lie.

When you truly commit to the spiritual path, you will gradually develop a faith in the process of growth itself. This inner faith is beyond your experience with any outer teacher, organization, teaching or technique.

In other words, no matter what disappointment you might experience on the outer, nothing can shake your faith in the inner process of growth. Many people have been disappointed by some outer organization and they have allowed their egos to use this as an excuse for giving up on the path itself. Yet the truth is that nothing can prevent you from moving forward on the path except the choices you make. Other people, dark forces or your ego can influence your choices, but no one can make choices for you.

Idea 7
You say: “We will be not co-creators but wanderers in this universe.”

An interesting statement that reflects the fate of many people who found a spiritual teaching or technique and allowed their egos to make them discouraged. There are indeed many souls who are – for all practical purposes – wanderers and refuse to fill their intended role as co-creators.

Yet this is a choice they have made, and it is a choice that springs from an unwillingness to make a commitment – an absolute commitment that the ego cannot touch – to inner growth that is independent of any outer conditions. One example of this is the unwillingness to refine one’s approach to a spiritual technique, thus using an easy excuse for not continuing to practice it until your consciousness truly is transformed and your ego defeated—or at least dethroned as the supreme ruler of your life.

Idea 8
You say: “ We are catholics anyway so we just go back to our old Sunday church routine and when we come up we can meet and say that I at least tried my best to follow your path on this website.”

As I said, if you are truly committed to growth, you never go backwards. You are not a Catholic because no earthly label can define you. You are a son of God, and you are intended to go beyond all outer labels that cause you to deny your Christ potential.

If you think I will accept the claim that “I at least tried my best to follow your path on this website” you do not know me as a spiritual teacher. Why do you think I said that only those who are willing to lose their lives for my sake are worthy to be my disciples?

You have the potential to become my disciple in this life. Yet to fulfill that potential, you must give up all of the illusions that your ego seeks to use to trap you into denying your Christ potential. Until you have given up every last illusion, you have not done your best.

Study the situation of the rich man who would not give up his possessions to follow me (Matthew 19:20-23). It does not apply only to those who have material possessions. It applies to all who have “possessions” of the mind – meaning attachments – that they are not willing to give up. And this first of all means the dualistic ego-illusions that cause people to deny their Christhood or their potential to self-transcend by following the inner path to the very end. Mother Theresa once said, “Give until it hurts.” I say, “Surrender until there is nothing human left to surrender—and then surrender even the emptiness and be filled with the Light of God.”

Idea 9

One of the main ideas I seek to get across on this website is that everyone has a Christ self that is the open door between your conscious mind and the spiritual realm—including your I AM Presence and the Ascended Master who is your personal teacher. When you truly begin to make the intuitive contact with your Christ self, you see that no one can stand between you and God. That is why I said that the kingdom of God is within you.

As you grow on the spiritual path, you need to question the assumptions that are a product of your religious upbringing. In your case, being from a Catholic background, you need to overcome the idea that only one person can communicate with the spiritual realm.

I go out of my way on the ARJ website to make sure people do not view Kim as some kind of replacement Pope. Thus, he is not a barrier between you and me and he cannot prevent you from seeking answers to your questions from inside yourself. On this website I give teachings and practical tools for expanding yourinner connection—if you did not already have some inner connection you would never have recognized anything of value on this site. So focus on getting answers from within instead of using another person as an excuse for giving up on the path.

The fact is that the path is an inner path—it is all between you and God. The key to walking the path is to realize that you are completely responsible for your inner conditions, your state of consciousness. Everything is a result of choices you made. No one can force you to make certain choices, which means that no one can prevent you from overcoming your past mistakes by making better choices to replace your old choices.

The real key to progress is to NEVER use any outer condition as an excuse for not walking the path—you must take full responsibility for your own situation and your own growth. If you allow your ego to make you think that another person is partly responsible for YOUR decisions, you demonstrate that you have not yet taken FULL responsibility for your path. This then becomes the major hurdle you need to overcome in order to adopt an approach that will give you the results you desire.

Thinking another person is responsible for your salvation is another example of Catholic baggage, and I give ample teachings on this website for you to let go of this burden that you no longer need to carry.

Leave your nets, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.

Idea 10
As I seek to explain throughout the ARJ website, there is no mechanical, automatic, guaranteed path to salvation. The reason is that salvation – eternal life – is a state of consciousness that can only be attained when you stop identifying yourself with the ego and start identifying yourself as the spiritual Being you truly are. Thus, the results on the path are completely dependent upon choices that only you can make—meaning that no force can make them for you and no force can prevent you from making those choices.

The dream of this false path to salvation – where you practice an outer technique and achieve results without changing yourself – is very pervasive and is heavily reinforced by people’s ego’s and the dark forces seeking to prevent humankind from ascending. It has been promoted by many outer teachings and religions, including the Catholic Church.

From the perspective of a spiritual teacher, it is always sad to see people who are sincere seekers yet are fooled into the trap of looking for a guaranteed result and becoming discouraged when it does not happen. I truly wish I could help all who are open to this website understand that behind the outer desires and expectations is the real path, and it is filled with joy and the infinite peace that comes from knowing you are flowing with the River of Life itself.

As long as you are still seeking a result that can be denied or that depends on outer conditions, you have not truly discovered the inner path. On the inner path, the results are not automatic, but they are guaranteed—as long as you are willing to keep transcending yourself. Thus, the real key is the willingness to discover all your limitations and the willingness to go beyond every limitation you discover. When you adopt this approach to the path, you WILL see even outer results. When you are willing to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, all else truly will be added unto you—if you still want it.

We might say that as long as you think you need something from this world in order to be whole, you can’t have it. Yet as soon as you fully know that wholeness comes only from within, you can have whatever you want—because having or not having something will no longer keep you from being whole. The most important result of following a spiritual teaching is the realization that nothing in this world can prevent you from being who you are.

Being does not depend on having or not having. It simply IS. But in order to BE, you must stop defining yourself by what you have or don’t have.

BE ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect(Matthew 5:48).

Perfection does not mean stillstand—it means that you are flowing with the River of Life that is constantly transcending itself in a never-ending cosmic dance that does not go in circles but follows an ascending spiral. Seek to always ascend and you will forget all thoughts of giving up. Simply give UP the desire to give up.
