Seeing ascended masters in a physical form

Question: The book “My Lives” describes the scene where Jesus, Buddha, and Maitreya and the protagonist raise their consciousness enough to see Sanat Kumara in physical form and receive teachings directly from him. Can we do the same right now at this conference with a master? If not, why not? Could it be that our collective level of consciousness is not high enough?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well, the scene described is not necessarily that you see the master in a physical form. There are many of these visions that people have had throughout the ages of having seen masters or angels or other spiritual beings. It’s not necessarily that you see a physical form, but that your consciousness is raised so you can see beyond the physical and therefore, for example, see the etheric form of a master. This is something you can always strive for individually or as a group.

We are not really in an age where we encourage these outer physical manifestations or spectacles because we would like people to go beyond needing that kind of physical phenomenon, you might say, and being able to tune into us in a different way. There are certainly people who, over the years, both in this and previous dispensations have seen either vibration of light around the messenger during a dictation or have even seen the presence of the master over the messenger during the dictation and it is something you can strive for on an individual level.

On a collective level, it’s not something to strive for, and it’s more important to strive for that Christ Consciousness where you tune into the presence without it having to be in a form that can be recognized by the senses. You can realize that right now, I am manifesting a Presence of myself in the identity realm in the identity octave. But that Presence does not have a recognizable physical form. You cannot go out in the world and find a picture of Mother Mary, and I will look like that picture. It’s a Presence that’s beyond these physical forms, and so, that is the same when we give a dictation we are manifesting a Presence that doesn’t have that specific physical form.

It’s more important for you to tune into the Presence than having to see it through, that vehicle of the physical senses and what images they can deal with. Or even seeing it through the outer mind and the images that have been programmed into either your individual mind or the collective mind over generations where people want to see Jesus a certain way, Mother Mary a certain way. It becomes a limitation to their ability to tune into us because if people are very attached to a distinct form, we cannot manifest to these people because it would make them even more trapped.

How do we go to a spiritual retreat?

Question: What are the logistics of going to spiritual retreats? Does an angel invite us, does our identity body separate from our other bodies?

You don’t become invited to a spiritual retreat by an angel, you invite yourself— you go on your own. It’s something you can do consciously when you are an ascended master student, but this doesn’t mean that you have to do it consciously to go to the retreats. This is something that usually starts many lifetimes ago, where you gradually start building a certain momentum on tuning into some higher reality; however, you see it. This means that you can then have the desire to learn, and then you can go at night and start going and traveling. You usually go in your identity body, and that means that the identity body goes to the retreat. It isn’t necessarily constructive to say that the identity body separates itself from the physical body.

You have to be careful here to realize that we have given you certain images that the etheric retreat is located in the etheric realm over a certain physical location. This is because this was given at a time where people are much more linear in their consciousness. But obviously physical distance and physical location mean something in the physical realm, but it doesn’t mean very much in the identity realm.

It’s not so much that your identity body has to separate itself from your physical body, if you are in the United States and then go to the island of Crete to attend Hilarion’s retreat. It’s more that you have to tune in to that vibration of the retreat.

Then you can attend the retreat in your identity body without really leaving the physical body. Because, again, there isn’t that physical locality in the identity realm. But if it helps people to visualize that your identity body separates from the physical and travels to the location of the retreat, then that’s also a valid way to visualize it. You might consider that as you grow on the path, you can let go of these images.

It’s the same reason why we, in this dispensation haven’t released any new pictures of ascended masters and don’t encourage the use of pictures. If people feel they need it, they are free to use them, of course. We are not wanting to promote this because there comes that point where you need to be able to tune into our presence without having a visible picture, without hearing our keynote or any of these outer means. It’s not that it’s wrong to use them as just that it’s a particular stage of the path. We hope that we can help many of you rise above that stage, so you’re no longer need it.

Spiritual perspective on menstruation

Question: Can the masters give us a spiritual perspective on menstruation? For some women it is very disturbing physically and emotionally.

In the current density of the physical realm, menstruation has a physical function. It is not absolutely necessary for most women who live in a more evolved society and live a healthier lifestyle, but it was carried over from the past where hygiene was not as good and where the consciousness was even denser than it is today. On a natural planet, you of course, do not have it, but even in a purer state of the earth, where childbirth was still necessary, you did not have menstruation. It is a product of the lowering of the collective consciousness and densification of matter. This of course does not help you deal with it, but it just gives you a certain perspective that it is not natural, it is not unavoidable.

There is a clearly physical component of menstruation where there is a certain process in the body, or certain toxins can be excreted. But the real question here is: “How much does that affect your emotional, mental and identity bodies?” For those who have a difficult menstruation, that often leads to psychological symptoms as well. There can be many reasons for this, but just to be practical and not overwhelm you with too much complexity, you would do well to use the tools we have given on the separate selves and on the various traumas. Use those tools to seek to uncover what separate selves you have, that relate to being a woman, being in a female body.

There is certainly many, many people, and it is not just people who are embodied as a woman in this lifetime, because many of you men have also been embodied as women in the past lifetime. We can say there are many, many people who have received, not really a birth trauma, but a very severe trauma relating to being a woman, and how women have been treated throughout history. Being burned as a witchis clearly a deep trauma.

It is a question of how you, when that happened to you, if that happened to you, I’m not saying it happened to all of you; how you individually saw this as a result of you being a woman and therefore built a separate self that had some kind of negative feeling about being a woman.

For example, when it comes to childbirth, there are many women who have very difficult labor, a very long labor. There are other women, for whom giving birth is almost painless, very fast, and it is not a traumatic experience for them, and the same with menstruation. What creates the difficulty is that you are resisting something, either you are resisting the process, but beyond that is a resistance towards being in a female body. This comes from these, in many cases, several traumas that you have been exposed to in past lives.

But it doesn’t have to be just a specific trauma as a result of a very dramatic event. It can also be a, we might say, long term accumulated trauma, of being embodied as a woman in many lifetimes and experiencing the discrimination but also just being stuck in that female role were you were so limited in many of the societies you see. For example, being embodied in a Muslim society where you have to cover yourself up all of the time, and why you are so restricted in what you can do, and not do, whether you can speak out or not speak out. This can be a trauma in itself. Of course, you do not have to go very far back before, it was also a trauma to be embodied in the Western world as a woman and to some degree, it still is.

What you need to recognize here is that you are not a woman, the Conscious You is neither male nor female. You are a spiritual being that is beyond sex. Now, you may have been a woman in many lifetimes, and therefore you have been exposed to traumas that made it inevitable that you would create these separate selves. But it is the separate self that cause you to have this resistance that makes your menstruation worse or makes your childbirth more difficult. You can overcome much of this, at least the psychological effects of it, by working on these separate selves.

Now there is of course, also a physical component relating to hormones that affect the menstruation process and can make it more severe, and that is something that is a more complex issue. There will, in the future, be various physical means that can help women alleviate these symptoms, but this will require a further development of vibrational or energetic medicine because it will not be a chemical pill. It will be a vibration that can influence the hormonal system. This is not something that helps you very much, to tell you what might happen in the future.

But what you can do something with right now is work on these separate selves because the less resistance you have to being in a female body, the more resolution you have. The more peace you are at, about being in a female body, the easier it will be for you to deal with the issues related to the female body. Of course, the same relates to being in a male body and some of the issues of being in a male body, but that is another topic. Although, it really is the same topic because you can also have been exposed to traumas related to being a man, especially for example going to war, and this can have created, again these separate selves, for you resist being in that role.

Oles Berdnyk and the idea of the Ukrainian spiritual republic

Question: Beloved masters, in my atheistic childhood I was lucky to read the books by Ukrainian science fiction writer Oles Berdnyk. Thanks to them I got in my heart the first experience of a deep longing for distant stellar worlds for the cosmic brotherhood of higher civilizations and unity of these great souls. It was my first experience of some unusual vibrations, which I was looking for everywhere, and found them in the book of Agni Yoga by Roerick and books by Michael Ivanova and then in the ascended master teachings. Oles Berdnyk proved himself as a philosopher, poet, artist and as a fighter for human rights in the Soviet Union. For that he spent several heavy years being imprisoned and passed away in 2003. Oles Berdnyk developed the idea of creating the Ukrainian spiritual republic based on the fact that the nation is a powerful collective spirit which has its unique purpose in the evolution of the universe. My question is where’s the blessed soul of Oles Berdnyk now? I want to convey to this soul a lot of light, love and gratitude. And we hope that his idea about the Ukrainian spiritual republic will become a reality for Ukraine.

Well the soul is not ascended and has not yet taken embodiment again but is preparing for its next embodiment.

In terms of the Ukrainian spiritual republic it is very important to recognize here that there is a mixture of ideas on earth that may seem very similar. And from a surface perspective are very similar but that do not have the same origin. For example the ascended masters have from time to time given certain ideas that certain nations have a role to play in the evolution of Earth. The fallen beings have attempted to counteract this or use this idea by bringing forth ideas that other nations have a unique role to play either in the evolution of Earth or even in the evolution of the universe. So the idea of a Ukrainian spiritual republic does not come from the ascended masters. It is an idea that is given by the dark forces, the fallen beings in order to create division and disharmony.

There are also some ideas that are given about the role of Russia and the Russian people having a unique role to play. These ideas also come from the fallen beings. There are some ideas about the United States that do not come from the ascended masters either. But we have on the other hand given teachings through previous messengers that the United States had a role to play in serving as a counterweight, so to speak, to prevent communist Russia from taking over the world or at least a larger part of the world than they did. They would never have taken over the world because they would have come to a point where they would have spread themselves so thin that they could not have maintained control. Therefore the Soviet Union would have started to contract.

But nevertheless, they could have spread much further than the Soviet Union and this was what the United States was meant to counteract. But you will, of course, see that this was still at the level of duality. Therefore although it was the teaching we gave it was not the highest possible teaching.

Now in terms of Ukraine let me be very direct as we have said we will be for this conference. It will be constructive for all ascended masters students in Ukraine to put aside all ideas that Ukraine has a unique role to play in the evolution of Earth, especially the Ukraine that you see today within the present borders. It would be constructive if all people in Ukraine could do the same.

This is not to say that Ukraine cannot have a role to play because all nations and all people have a certain role to play in bringing the planet forward. But the only way that Ukraine can play this role is to focus on itself and its own people and giving them a better personal life. If you can focus on this, with a very difficult background you have of having been part of the Soviet Union, having experienced everything you have experienced including the Holodomor but many other sufferings, both in Soviet times and previously, then you would make a very valuable contribution to the forward progression of the planet.

But any idea that Ukraine is some kind of force that needs to influence other nations or save the west from Russian expansion or other such ideas are not constructive certainly not for ascended master students. It is more important to focus on what we have given you, what we will give you for this conference, the more immediate goals of bringing Ukraine up to becoming a fully democratic nation and expanding the economy so that all people can have a reasonable standard of living. The immediate goals are more important than some of these more far ranging ideas that are quite frankly not realistic.

The Russian people need to decide: when have we had enough of suffering?

Question: I’m inclined to think that a person simply does not become president of an especially large, and in some ways, influential countries such as Russia. Therefore, was it part of Vladimir Putin’s divine plan to become president of Russia? Or was it in the fallen plan that he came to power? What was the highest and lowest potential Putin’s rule? What in the end was he able to accomplish? And what are the spiritual consequences of his presidency for him as a lifestream? Will he be able to incarnate on earth? Or will he be judged by the sacred fire? And what are we Russians, people from Russia supposed to learn from his presidency?

Well, fallen beings do not have a divine plan do they? So therefore, it was not part of Putin’s divine plan. It may be, as you said, part of the fallen plan. But the reality really is that the Russian people need to learn the lesson, as we have said before, that they need to be in charge of their nation, they need to take responsibility for their nation, they need to decide what kind of country they want to live in.

So far, the Russian people have been way too willing to suffer and to let their rulers precipitate all kinds of suffering upon them, that quite frankly, from a karmic perspective, from an ascended master perspective, from a human perspective, is unnecessary. There is no karmic punishment from the distant past, that mandates that the Russian people should suffer, as they have done from Ivan the Terrible and forward. Now, there is of course, karma made by the Russian people as a result of the Soviet Union primarily. But there was not an ancient karma that mandated the kind of leaders they have had, you have had.

And so the reality here is that the Russian people need to decide when have we had enough of suffering? When do we want a different kind of country where we do not have to suffer, as we have been doing—where we have a government that does not increase our suffering, but actually alleviates the suffering. That’s the lesson that needed to be learned. And that still needs to be learned.

And so it wasn’t necessarily so that the fallen beings had some grandiose plan, whereby Putin was destined to become the leader of Russia. But what happened was that after the fall of the Soviet Union, the population of Russia, were not able to make that decision that we want a different kind of nation. Now, this is in many ways understandable because of the heavy suppression as we have talked about, during Soviet times. People were so beaten down, that you cannot really expect them to suddenly step up and make the kind of decisions that people in democratic nations, nations that have been democracies for decades, can make.

So there was a vacuum created, and there was great turmoil join the 1990s. And this turmoil caused many people in Russia to long for some kind of more strong, determined leadership, where they didn’t have to make the decisions for their leaders or one leader would make the decisions for them. And Vladimir Putin sort of stepped into that vacuum, and attempted to fill that role. Now, Putin is a fallen being, as I said, but not anywhere near the, whatever you want to call this, the degree of evilness that you saw in Stalin or Lenin. He is a much lower ranking fallen being than they were. So he had actually some difficulty stepping into that role, or creating the role, and filling it.

And we might say that Stalin, for example, had that momentum of ruthlessness that allowed him to be the kind of dictator he was. Putin does not have nearly the same momentum. And quite frankly, Putin has not really created or he does not really have the capacity to fill the role he’s playing. It is because he is riding the momentum that was created throughout history, going back to Ivan the Terrible of these abusive leaders—these very determined dictatorial leaders that tell the Russian people what to do. And he has stepped into a role that has been created by the Russian people, even going back to the czarist times where they thought that the czar was the representative of God on earth.

Now, people do not think this way, at least very few people think that way about Putin. But they think he has some kind of personal charisma, or mystique or capacity to be the kind of leader that they think he is, or that they want him to be. In reality, he does not have that capacity. He doesn’t have the format you might say, even though we cannot use that word in a positive sense. So he is in a very real way, basing his rule on an illusion. The people have built this mystique around their leaders—he is attempting to play the role. And it works to some degree for the population, who do not know him.

But the closer you get to Putin, those who have more close contact with him, and know what is going on behind the outer façade, while they have a certain respect for him, they do not have any illusions that he has any special power. Because they see that he is just a human being like everybody else. And they see that he is barely able to maintain the illusion and play the role.

And more and more people among the population are also beginning to realize that he really is not that strong of a leader, he is not that dangerous of a leader. And that they could certainly tell him or cause him to step down. They could very well do without him. And in fact, more people are beginning to realize that Russia would be better off without him.

What is keeping the status quo and they are by keeping him alive, is that so many people in Russia still have this need, this dream of feeling that Russia is a special nation, who has a special role to play on the world stage and has some special mission. They have this need because Russia is, because of the natural conditions, the coldness, for example, a difficult country to live in. So it causes a certain amount of suffering.

But it also needs to be realized here that much of the suffering that people have, especially in the rural districts in the colder regions, is actually caused because people were forced to move there during Soviet times, for a variety of reasons—sometimes for no logical, rational reason. If there had been a more natural development, many people who would have moved away from these regions, or would never have moved there in the first place as they were forced to do, and they would have lived where life did not require the same amount of suffering.

And so you can understand, when I say you, I mean in general, that during Soviet times where people did not have the potential to choose where they wanted to live, what kind of work they wanted to do, what kind of life they wanted to have, the Russian people had to find a way to live with the conditions as they were. In other words, they had to find a way to live with the suffering.

And one way to do this was to believe that their suffering served some kind of purpose, some kind of cause. And because people had not been willing to examine this and let go of this, they are still willing to endure a government that increases their suffering, rather than doing what a real government is supposed to do: alleviate the suffering of the people, by building a society where the general population can have better personal lives, instead of allowing a small class of oligarchs and a privileged elite from having a better life, while the population is supporting this through their labor.

If there had been the kind of development that I would have liked to see in Russia, then the wealth that has been created by the natural resources such as oil and gas, would have been spread among the population, so that all Russians would have had a higher standard of living. And much new wealth would have been generated, so there would have been much more creativity, much more initiative, and a much higher level of economic growth in Russia, so that that there would have been more wealth to spread around among the people.

This is partly a repeat of the pattern, you see going back centuries, of the Russian people, allowing a small power elite, to take advantage of them, and their labor, so that the elite could create a lavish lifestyle, but the people are suffering in poverty.

This is what keeps Putin and his government apparatus alive and the Russian people cannot break out of this until they examine this particular psychology, this particular history and come to that decision that: “We don’t want to be special by suffering more than anybody else. We want to have a good life for ourselves. And we want to be special, as we have said before, by tuning into who we are, and what is our potential, what is it that we can bring forth of a positive nature in the world? How can we make a positive contribution through creativity, rather than making no contribution because we suffer?” How are you improving the world by suffering?

You can only improve the world by improving your personal life and the life of your nation, and then perhaps reaching beyond your nation. But you will not improve the world by suffering. It cannot be done. No one has ever done it. And you cannot do it either. And it is foolishness to think that you can do what no one else has done. And that at some point you will have suffered so much that it will serve some kind of cause. This is an illusion. And so, I have spoken that into the collective consciousness of Russia and we will see what the Russian people will do with it.

The healing is about making the selves conscious and letting them die

Question: If we consciously let the separate selves go, but our subconscious does not let them go, then in this case, what do the Ascended Masters advise? And are there any safe ways to work with the subconscious?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

Well, first of all, the safe way to work with the subconscious is all the tools and techniques we have given you, which all in a certain sense, going back to the earliest invocation and rosaries work with the subconscious. But when you use the process we have given in the latest books about the separate selves, when you are actually making a self conscious, you are bringing it out of the subconscious. When you really let go of that self at the conscious level, then you have let go of it. Now, you may say that there is still some remnants of that self or some other self. But that’s then because this is a self that you have not yet made conscious and let it go.

The selves can sometimes form this complicated mesh of selves that are somewhat interrelated, you can have one major self for example, but after that first self was created, other selves were created. So it isn’t something you can necessarily do in one setting, you might need to do it over some time to get all of them removed.

But really, the process that we have in the healing your spiritual traumas and forward is about making the selves conscious so that you are in a sense, making the subconscious conscious and therefore you are making that decision with your conscious mind to let the self die, which you can only really do when you see it. And you truly see it from the outside. And you see that it is a separate self and it is not you.

Federation of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, is it realistic scenario?

Question: Russia, Ukraine and Belarus have much in common in history, culture and language. Despite all the existing divisions, do these countries have the potential to unite in one space without centralized power?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

I will not say that there is no potential for this, but it is a very low potential. Because for this to happen, and I am here saying, a situation where the three countries would be united but there would be some independence, it would be like a federation, almost like the United States, where Belarus and Ukraine would have some independence from Russia, or at least some self-determination.

For such a situation to happen, Russia would also have to be broken up into a number of regions of Republics that also would have a great degree of autonomy. That is also a possibility, but certainly not while the current president is there. There needs to be some rather big changes for this to happen.

The question is, would the people want this to happen? As I see it from the Ascended realm, it is more likely that the people of Ukraine would want to preserve their independence as a nation in whatever form it ends up being in. There are certainly many people in the western part of Ukraine who would rather have a more open, autonomous country that was not necessarily a western country or become part of the Western block, but was certainly open to that influence.

Again, it is unlikely that Russia would allow this if it was part of a federation. I know that you could say that Russia today is a federation but there are many regions where they do not feel they have autonomy from Moscow. And certainly, who, in the current governmental apparatus acts as if Russia is a Federation of Independent States, where is there respect for independence and autonomy?

To what degree are you using the teaching you recognize to raise your consciousness?

Question: Not so long ago, quite a large group of students from Novosibirsk called Kim a false messenger. The book “My lives” they consider is not released by the ascended masters and apparently they cannot grow further or do not want to. Can this have a negative impact on the growth of consciousness of the Russian people?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

Well, it’s clear my beloved that from an ideal perspective, we would like all students who are open to the ascended masters, open to the concept that we can have a messenger in embodiment who is taking messages directly from us—we would like to have all of these students be as united as possible. Because the more you are united, the more of an impact you have on the growth of the collective consciousness.

So as Shiva said yesterday, the fact that ascended master students in Russia are so divided, prevents them from having the impact on the nation that they could have. If you take what Shiva said, he was basically saying that there are enough ascended masters students in Russia to have a decisive impact if they were united, and were not fighting about who is a messenger and who is not.

What Shiva was saying is, use whatever teaching you recognize to raise your consciousness and as you raise your consciousness you will begin to be more and more united and any outer differences no longer matter so much. If this could happen it would naturally have an important impact on Russia.

I’m not thereby saying that all ascended master students in Russia need to accept this messenger as the only messenger, or as a true messenger, or as the current messenger or whatever. But we need to come to a point where the relatively small number of ascended master students that recognize ascended masters are not dividing themselves, are not fighting amongst themselves, where they can actually ideally come together and work in the same direction instead of pulling in different directions.

Now, I do not want to comment too much on a specific situation, but what was unique about the group in Novosibirsk was that at least for a time, they recognize both the previous dispensations and this dispensation, and that was why we gave them certain opportunities, such as the publishing of books and holding conferences. It was our hope that they would be able to move on and therefore show that it was actually possible to have a student community that would recognize our ongoing progressive revelation. The fact that this did not happen for some students, well we respect free will and if the students need to have that experience we respect that.

Will it have an impact on the growth of the Russian nation? Not necessarily, that certainly depends on what the students both from this dispensation and others, do to raise their consciousness. The question is not so much which outer teaching do you belong to. The question really is to what degree are you using the teaching you recognize to raise your consciousness?

But of course, let us be clear: The more you raise your consciousness towards the levels of Christhood, the more you will be in attunement with the ascended masters, and when you are in attunement with the ascended masters, why would you not recognize the current messenger we are using? Why would you not embrace that teaching? Not necessarily that you throw away or start criticizing the previous teachings, but all of the teachings we have brought forth are based on one concept of progressive revelation. So as we have said before, in each of the previous dispensations there have been people who said: “Well, we recognize progressive revelation but progressive revelation stopped when our movement was no longer taking dictations”.

This makes no sense whatsoever, neither from a human nor an ascended perspective. Progressive revelation is what? Progressive! Have we ever said through this messenger that when he is no longer taking dictations, progressive revelation will stop? No. Has he ever claimed this? No. Should you believe this as students? Absolutely not.

We will find ways, and the most important thing you can recognize about ascended masters is we will not be stopped by human opinions and beliefs and doctrines. We have no loyalty to outer organizations, be it the Catholic Church or any ascended master organization. We are charged with the forward movement of the entire planet.

Do you think we would let that be affected by the decisions of a small group of people? Do you think that a small group of people deciding who is a messenger or who is not has any impact on us as ascended masters? If you think so, this can only come from spiritual pride, and that will prevent you from tuning in to the ascended masters, for in order to tune into us, you must be neutral, and pride and neutrality cannot coexist in the same mind.

You do not need a twin flame in order to ascend and be whole

Question: Beloved ascended masters, I want to ask what happens if one of the twin souls wins its ascension and the other one passes through the second death? What happens with the ascended soul? Would it stay without its twin flame or would a new twin soul be created by the I AM Presence? From the previous dispensation we know that Master More lost his twin flame. So, does it mean that such things really happen? I realized that from a perspective of a linear mind, it looks very complicated, yet I would like it to be clear.

Well, in order to be clear, when you ascend you ascend as a complete and whole individual.

You do not need a twin flame in order to ascend. As an ascended master, you are complete and whole within yourself, you do not need a twin flame or anyone else in order to be whole. For you as an unascended being, you do not need to find your twin flame, be with your twin flame, in order to make your ascension.

You are created as individual beings. It would therefore be constructive for those of you who are open to this dispensation to consider that your twin flame is your I AM Presence and not look horizontally for any twin flame.

Question about Taras Shevchenko

Question: Dear Master Kuthumi, through the channeling of Sergey Kanusheski from St. Petersburg, who supposedly receives dictation from you, it became known that the poet and artists Taras Shevchenko, beloved in Ukraine, is the embodiment of you master Kuthumi, is it so? No, this is not correct. The soul of the poet has simply moved on to other embodiments. You need to recognize here that we understand that many nations have a need to feel that they have certain important people in their history, they have certain heroes.

But you need to recognize that even though a person may have played an important role at a particular historical moment, for a particular nation, once that soul is out of embodiment, the soul itself and the masters working with that soul are looking at how can the soul best move on in its path towards the ascension. This means that if the soul has reached a higher level of consciousness, it will not allow itself to be pulled back into a particular nation if it is more important that it goes somewhere else.

So the idea that a particular historical person will continue to embody in the same nation is not something that happens very often. This may be a disappointment to some but the reality is that we are always looking at what creates progress for that individual soul, and the closer you get to your ascension, the less, you might say loyalty or attachment, you have to any particular nation, or environment or group of people.

There comes a point where you simply need to say: “What kind of an experience do I need in order to qualify for my ascension? Where can I best get that experience?” And then you move there .

Women need to make a shift in their self-awareness, their self-image of what it means to be a woman

Question: A lot of single women are suffering from hormonal diseases, turning to the doctors, they get pills and advice to find a husband. If in the divine plan of the women, their twin flame is not in this life, could the illness just be karma? Or is there another explanation for this spreading disease among women?

Well, let me first address the issue of twin flames. Who ever said that you can only marry your twin flame? Many times there are karmic reasons for marriage or the purpose is for growth, and so you should not have the attitude that you should only marry your twin flame, and that if you can’t find your twin flame, you should stay single. Quite frankly, we do not put much emphasis on the concept of twin flames because it has been used by the students of previous dispensations in ways that are not particularly constructive. I’m being diplomatic here when I’m saying not particularly constructive.

The reality is that as the collective consciousness is raised, various things come up in the collective consciousness of various groups of people. As the collective consciousness is being raised, there are also issues that come up in the collective psyche of women. These are complicated issues that I cannot describe thoroughly in a short answer, but the reality is that these hormonal imbalances are actually a sign that women need to make a shift in their self-awareness, their self-image of what it means to be a woman. Because as we move further into the Golden Age, women need to free themselves from these traditional roles that have been put upon them, especially by the patriarchal societies and this is what is going on in the three higher bodies on a collective level.

One of the effects of this is that many women individually have these hormonal imbalances and disturbances. It is not something that can be solved chemically. It will require that women resolve these issues of how they see themselves. This is something that you who are spiritual students can work on. You can use the teachings we have given on healing your spiritual traumas, and the other books that come after it where you gradually seek to identify the separate selves that you have that relate to being a woman, and the different roles of women that you can see throughout history.

You have not necessarily been a woman in all of your past lifetimes, because you are a woman in this lifetime. But the fact that you are a woman in this lifetime, and that you have found a spiritual path shows that you have chosen to embody as a woman in this lifetime, because you want to resolve the issues you have with being in a female body. You want to overcome those selves, and you might have certain traumas from being mistreated as a woman in past lives that you want to overcome. You can use these tools to work on these very deep psychological issues, and redefine how you see yourself as a woman. Until you can come to that point where you can be at peace with being in a female body, on planet earth, in this lifetime.

You will see that many women, if they look deeper in their psychology, are not at peace with being in a female body because of mistreatment they have endured in past lives or in this life and because of this attitude that society has—still has, towards women. So we might say – Saint Germain’s discourse that the modern democracies have attained a higher level of tolerance, but this does not mean that they have complete tolerance, and even in some of the more evolved modern democracies, there is still not full tolerance of women or full equality of women.

This is something you can work on. For some of you it is part of your Divine plan to work on this in yourself, to overcome it, and to speak out about it so you can help other women overcome it, but also help shift the attitude towards women in your society.

Spiritual perspective on situation of Iran and other Muslim countries

Question: I would like to ask the Masters to give some insights about Iran, about the socio- political and also spiritual issues.

Given the time constraints we have, I do not want to give a longer discourse. But what I will say is that, not just Iran, but many of the Muslim countries, both in the Middle East and elsewhere, have the same issue. And in order to describe it in a simplified way, we can say that, when you look at the world as a whole, you see that it is very clear that all nations need to follow a similar path, not exactly the same path, but certainly a similar path. You move from a more or less dictatorial form of government into a democratic form of government. All of the Muslim countries need to do this.

Now you may say, some of them have done this, because they have elections and this and that, but there is one characteristic of a true democracy, and that is the separation of church and state. You cannot have a fully functioning democracy if there is one religion that dominates the life of and the thinking of a country. Especially if it also influences the political process, it simply cannot be done.

It is a phase that all nations need to move through where they separate religion from politics. They acquire that tolerance from people of other religions, so that the people in that nation do not feel forced to be a member of a particular religion. Or to pretend to be a practicing member of that religion because they fear reprisals, either from society or from other people. There must be religious freedom and religious tolerance, in order for all of these Muslim nations to grow to the highest stages of democracy, where they really have a functioning democracy. Because what is the essence of a functioning democracy? It is tolerance and acceptance of differences, individual differences and group differences.

What you see in some of the countries that have been democracies for a long time and have developed a higher form of democracy, is that you see greater and greater tolerance. And although there may be some limitations, because these countries do not have Christ discernment, it is definitely a phase that all democracies must move through, where they attain greater and greater tolerance among the people in the nation, and also towards those outside the nation. As an absolutely inescapable part of this, religious tolerance must become a reality. It is simply the natural development.

You can see for yourself where Iran or other Muslim countries are at on that scale. If you compare this, if you set up a scale of the evolution from dictatorships to higher levels of democracy, you can yourself evaluate where each nation is at. This, of course, does not apply just to Muslim nations. T

his is really the main block that needs to be overcome in Iran and other Muslim nations, before the countries can really start moving forward. Also, in an economic sense, because what is it that creates real economic growth that benefits the people and not the elite? It is diversity, diversification, where instead of having a monopolized economical structure, as you have in a dictatorship, as you have in a strict capitalist country, you actually create, in a democratic nation, a process, a mechanism that does not allow the concentration of wealth in the hands of a small elite. But makes sure that all people in that nation gain a reasonable standard of living.

You may look at, for example, the Scandinavian countries, where they have found ways, and I am not saying this is the only way it can be done, but they have found ways so that there are few very, very rich people. And all people in the nation have a reasonable standard of living, and the majority of the people in the nation belong to that middle class where they have a fairly affluent standard of living. This, of course, is also what needs to happen in the Muslim countries. Again, you can see how far they are from that goal.

But what I am saying is that the absolute foundation for creating this economic growth is diversification. And that can only happen in a country where there is tolerance of differences. When you have this collective consciousness that seeks to force people into a particular mold, through social pressure, or through laws and government pressure, and the police or the secret police, or the KGB, or a propaganda apparatus, or what have you, then you cannot have a functioning, diversified economy.

And quite frankly, if you do not have a diversified economy, you will have a limited economy. And the more centralized an economy becomes, there will come that point where it starts actually shrinking, because there is not the driving force behind economic growth, which is the individual initiative, where you can take an initiative, and you can reap the rewards of your own effort. It is not stolen by someone else in that structure above you.

Many other things could, of course, be said. But this is definitely the main block that prevents the Muslim countries, and it is, of course, the Muslim religion that is the big block here, and the whole mindset created by the Muslim religion. You know yourself that dynamic between Shia and Sunni, but also the Sharia law and the fundamentalists. And this entire mindset that has been created, which is a mindset of intolerance, that cannot come from God, it cannot come from the spiritual realm. This is what to make calls on, this is what to focus on. Because until this block begins to lose its grip on the people, these nations simply cannot move forward. You can do all kinds of other things, you can come up with all kinds of theories and say, this needs to happen in the economy, this needs to happen in the educational system, this needs to happen here, this needs to happen there.

We have the concept in America of the 300-pound gorilla in the room, where there is a group of people sitting there talking and behind them is this big gorilla, but nobody is talking about the gorilla. And the 300-pound gorilla in the Muslim world is the Muslim religion. And nobody wants to talk about how it influences society, and how it holds back growth in those societies. And until that happens, until a critical mass of people are willing to talk about this openly and recognize what the problem is, these societies will not move forward. They will not, they cannot move forward until this issue is addressed.

Question about Sri Aurobindo and the Mother

Question: Are there any other divine hierarchies, besides the Great White Brotherhood, that are in charge of the earth civilization? And, what hierarchy do Sri Aurobindo and The Mother represent, what can you say about the city of Auroville and its role in the development of human consciousness.

(Sri Aurobindo was a spiritual teacher in India and he developed what he called integral yoga. He was a recommended teacher by El Morya during the time of Agni yoga. Auroville is kind of a combination of a campus and a city based on the idea of practice and spiritual path. ‘The Mother’ was the nickname of his spouse. She became his disciple and they kind of act like twin flames).

There are no spiritual hierarchies beyond the Great White Brotherhood because we are one, we are united. Why would we need to have different groupings or divisions within us? In terms of Sri Aurobindo, his teachings are valid. But the question is whether they are very applicable to westerners.

This is something you need to decide on your own on an individual basis what meaning that has for you. Naturally, I would say that if you have the teachings we are giving here, then there is a reason you have been attracted to these teachings. You should certainly make use of these teachings as much as you can. But of course, we have never required and do not want our students to feel they have to only study these teachings. You are always free to look at other teachings as you are moved intuitively through your own inner guidance.

Ascended masters working with Ukrainian people

Question: Who is or who are the Ascended Masters that sponsor Ukraine?

For all nations, there is more than one master who is working with the people of that nation. In many cases, you have a situation where there is a national boundary that has been drawn for some more or less superficial historical reason, but there is a group of people who are tied together who live beyond those national boundaries. We do not, as such, work with a specific nation, as much as we work with a people who have similar characteristics and therefore need similar guidance to move forward.

In terms of Ukraine, Master Igor works with those who are part of that group of people that we have called the original Russian, people that you also find many of in Russia and in Belarus. Master More also works with that group of people, I work with that group of people as well. But you also need to recognize that there can be many other groupings in a certain nation. And that is the case with Ukraine, where there are other masters working with them. And then to make it even more complicated, over time, people’s needs change. There are other masters that come in for a specific purpose, to work with that group of people for a time, and then may move on to do other things and another master might come in, and so forth.

But if you primarily focus, for the present moment at least, on master Igor, Master More and myself, then that will be sufficient to tune into the Ascended masters that work with Ukraine. Of course, Saint Germain is working with all nations to bring forth the Golden Age ideas, you can also tune into him if you feel it is part of your divine plan to bring forth these new ideas. The same thing on a personal level, you need to recognize that even though you may have a master who is your main personal master, you will not exclusively work with that master through your lifetime. Because as you go through different phases of your path, you will work with different masters as is appropriate.

And certainly those of you who are consciously aware of ascended masters, you will work with all the seven Chohans, and the Maha Chohan, in order to rise to that 96th level of consciousness, especially when you are doing the course based on the books.

But even so, you are still working with the seven Chohans and the Maha Chohan to reach the 96th level. But you may also be working with other masters during that time. And then as you reach that 96th level, you start working with different groups of masters, whose role it is to take students from that point forward.

Mystic tradition in The Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church

Question: Orthodox Christianity is fundamentally different from Catholicism in its Hesychasm or mystical pratices. (Hesychasm – from the Greek word Hesychia – silence. It is a mystical practice in the Eastern Orthodox religious tradition using meditative techniques). Unlike Catholicism, which went through the creation of theologies, Orthodoxy chose the mystical path of direct spiritual experiential unity with Christ. The path of self-transcendence of man in Christ. What can you say about the comparative perspective of these religions?

There are also mystical aspects of the Catholic tradition. Even in some Protestant Christian churches, you can find some mystical aspects. And you of course have Christian mystics in the Catholic tradition who have reached higher levels of consciousness. It is something that is found everywhere, but it is not mainstream anywhere. And what you need to recognize here is that even though there are some differences between the Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church, The Orthodox Church is still affected by the same mindset that formed the Catholic church. And you will see that there was a time where the two were evolving in a parallel way. Before actually there was a split between the two.

There are many common aspects or common mindsets that obscure, for the general population, the mystical path. There have always been some people who have been able to look beyond the outer doctrines and rituals and find that mystical path. But to the general public, all Christian churches are obscuring the reality of what I taught, and the reality of what the path is about. You can say that the churches are generally set up to prevent the broad population from finding and walking the true path to Christhood.

This is how they are defined by the fallen beings. But the fallen beings know that there will be some people for whom this is not enough, and they will seek a mystical path. What they have attempted to create is that for those people, they can walk the mystical path, but still within the context of the outer church, whether it is the Orthodox or the Catholic. That is why you have the whole concept of Christian mystics.

In reality, if you are a mystic, you are a universal being. You may be able to take the Christian tradition or the Hindu tradition or the Buddhist tradition or the Muslim tradition and transcend it. And based on that background, you are still walking the mystical path, but you are not really a Christian or a Hindu or Buddhist mystic. Because the further you walk on the spiritual path, the more important it is that you see the universality behind all of these outer religions.

What the Catholic church, for example, has done with some of these mystics is that they have elevated them to sainthood and thereby claimed ownership of them, and not allow the universality to shine through. And in many cases, the mystics cannot express that universality, they still see themselves as Christian mystics. And this is what we need to transcend in this age, where we have the mystics from all backgrounds come together, and recognize that behind all of the outer traditions there is a universal path that cannot be confined or owned by any tradition. It is very simple. Christ does not grant patents to any human institution or person.

How to spread the ascended masters teaching

Question: Is it fair to say that all means will work? To spread the teachings that we can actually use any means to spread the teachings, should we use television, radio or newspapers in order to spread the teachings that have been given by the masters through you. The teachings are given with a very plain language, and many people could understand the teachings and the teachings might help many people in their everyday life so that we can spread them by any means available?

Yes, you are of course free to use any means that you have experienced with or that you feel like you want to use. That’s up to you, I like to see people be creative about spreading the teachings. But you also have to listen to what the masters have said, especially over the last couple of years where it’s not just a matter of promoting me or my teachings or even ascended master teachings.

Many times, it’s more important to get certain ideas out there without necessarily saying where they come from. Because that can block people from accepting the idea. In other words, there might be an idea about politics that many people could accept. But if they first have to accept that there are ascended masters and I’m a messenger for those masters, and so forth, then they can’t accept the idea, they can’t even look at it, because that’s too far beyond what their normal worldview is. So that’s why it’s important to make that distinction. And that depends on your situation. If you, for example, are working in a professional environment or in some kind of political or government environment, then it’s not important to promote me or the ascended masters, it’s more important to promote these ideas. Because as the masters say, many people are ready at inner levels without knowing it. They are ready to accept these ideas, and they just need to hear them.

But if you want to force them to first accept ascended masters and all of this belief system that comes with that, it’s too much for them. They can’t deal with that. And it is like even Saint Germain said that he just wants to see the Golden Age manifest on earth. He doesn’t care whether he gets credit for it. He’s perfectly fine that people think it’s their own ideas. And I feel the same way. It’s not that I need to be promoted. It’s the ideas need to get out there and help people improve their lives.

The ritual of Communion is already outdated

Question: In the dictation of Jesus from October 23, 2005, he talks about communion. But why isn’t communion being held these days?

Well, partly because we are moving you towards a new view of your relationship with us. You need to recognize that in the early days of this dispensation, we were providing more of a bridge between the previous dispensations and this new one. We were using terminology that was familiar in the previous dispensations, we were using certain concepts and images and we were giving more of these outer rituals that were more important to people in the previous dispensations.

Today we are hoping to move you to a point where you realize that the real way to connect to the ascended masters is to go within, in your heart. And that what blocks you from having a direct relationship with us is your unresolved psychology. So by resolving that, you will gain more of a personal inner connection to us. This means that you will have less and less need of these outer things.

You may look at the Christian tradition for Communion and you may see that many Christians actually believe that when some Christian minister gives a blessing to the bread and the wine, it is turned into the literal body and blood of Christ. This of course, is not realistic. It is still bread and wine. The reality here is again, that nothing is really mechanical, you can create a ritual but it doesn’t mean that any priest who reads a certain blessing has the power of the Holy Spirit to turn it into the body and blood of Christ.

And what is the body and blood of Christ? Is it the physical body and the physical blood? There are non-Christians who accuse Christians of being cannibals, because they eat the body and blood of their leader. Obviously, the ritual of Communion was never meant to be taken literally, as if you are literally eating human flesh and human blood. The body and blood of Christ is a symbol for the vibration, the consciousness of Christ. You cannot take in that symbol automatically by eating bread and drinking wine. You need to go within and absorb it directly from me. But there was such a low consciousness in those early centuries that people needed some physical thing.

So maintaining this to this day is actually already outdated, even in the Christian churches. So maintaining it in an ascended master organization is also outdated. That being said, there is nothing to stop you from doing this if you feel you need it. You can set it up so you have bread and you have wine and you bless this or you read some kind of blessing or prayer over it. If it helps people, I have no objection to people doing it but I have also clearly stated that I encourage people to go beyond it, where you do not need these physical rituals in order to connect with us, for after all, you are capable all of you are realizing that it is the inner connection that matters, and that it does not depend on anything outside yourself, only the openness of your own psychology.

Question about implanting chips in human beings

Question: Putin signed a decree on chipping, meaning chip implanting, the population of Russia beginning in 2025. Sphere Bank of Russia began to conduct voluntary experiments with chip implanting, thus turning people into biological objects. And the Russian government is technically leading people to give up cash. What are your comments about this? What should spiritual people do if this is implemented by force? How does chipping relate to moral, ethical and spiritual life? Should people fear this? What about biometrics, how should we feel about that?

Well, my beloved, it’s clear that the ascended masters do not support implanting a computer chip in human beings. There are, of course, some uses of this kind of technology and as long as it is a chip that is only meant to locate where people are, and identify them, it is not necessarily an entirely destructive technology. You already see that some people who fear that they might be kidnapped, or that their children might be kidnapped, have chosen to have a chip implanted, so they can be found. You could have the same for people who were explorers and who would go to Antarctica, for example, where they might be lost in bad weather.

I’m not saying that there are no legitimate, constructive uses for this kind of technology. But as a general measure that is forced upon the population, it’s clear that the ascended masters do not in any way support this.

So how should you deal with this if the government of your nation makes this mandatory? Well, you need to recognize here that it isn’t correct that having a chip implanted in your body turns you into a thing or biological being, you have already many people who have various, artificial or man-made devices implanted in their bodies. So it is still possible to be a spiritual person and walk the spiritual path even if this happens.

Naturally, you can look at your situation in your country and you can look at the potential to object to this, to protest against this, to create a movement against it or to participate in such a movement—support it in various ways. But if that isn’t possible, due to the situation of your country, then you might consider immigrating, leaving the country if you feel strongly enough about this.

On the other hand, you can also take the approach that Jesus said, “Render unto Caesar that which Caesar’s, and until God that which is God’s.” In other words, if it is not in your divine plan, to participate in some uprising against the government that might get you killed, and therefore take you out of embodiment, then you do what is necessary in order to stay alive in your country. And then you continue to walk your spiritual path and raise your consciousness, thereby gradually transforming the collective consciousness and after some time, opening up for a new form of government.

It’s clear once again, that as we have said about the Soviet Union, that the more the Russian government violates its citizens, the more it will shorten its lifespan and set the stage for reform of government. We have said before that Vladimir Putin is kept artificially alive by the Russian people. And it is just a matter of getting to that critical point where there are not enough people supporting him or believing in him or not wanting to acknowledge what he is doing, to keep him in embodiment.

In other words, when a certain amount of people realize what is happening in Russia, what has happened under Putin’s reign and decide that they do not want this form of government, there can come this point or rather, there will come this point where Putin will be taken out of embodiment. And there is nothing that he or the government apparatus that supports him can do about this once the people have made up their mind.

Question about lifestreams who are extensions of ascended masters

Question: First a quote from Jesus: “It is particularly important to know that there are a certain number of people on earth who have a very close relationship to one or more ascended masters. You can say that these people are only one spiritual generation apart from the master. Or that they are the individualisation of the master. After your ascension you may decide to send a part of yourself back to the incarnation to help the spiritual evolution of the earth, and the individual ascended masters have done so. When you realise your origin and fully embody this new spiritual identity, the ascended master or masters from whom you came can act through you, as Lord Maitreya acted through me. At this stage of the spiritual evolution of the earth it is essential that people with this potential awaken to the reality of who they are.” Are there any among us who are the extension of the ascended masters we know, Mother Mary, the Chohans, Gautama, Lord Maitreya, Jesus etc.?

Yes there is, but you will not be told from without if this applies to you. Because you need to get this from within otherwise it will not have the desired effect. The approach that I recommend is that you do not put too much attention on this. You especially need to be aware of the desire to be special, to feel special that can often cause the ego or separate selves to play tricks on you when you hear a teaching like this.

In a sense, a teaching like this is a challenge, just like in a previous dispensation where people were told they had the highest teaching on the planet. What do you with this, what do you allow the ego or the separate selves that desire to be special to do with a teaching like this? That is why it is better to examine yourself if you have any human ambitions or desires. It can even be constructive for a time to simply not put your attention on this. Not worry about whether this applies to you so that you can free yourself from any such desires until you are neutral enough that you can let the realisation come from within.

The Golden Age approach to nutrition and medicine

Question: What will human nutrition and medicine be like in the Golden Age? Please recommend to us a balanced approach to nutrition that promotes spiritual practices. Please tell us about the most and least appropriate foods and their effects.

It is not possible to give one answer to a question like this because as Saint Germain has said – the Golden Age is a process that will unfold over time. It is not possible to project into the future and say: “Now the Golden Age is manifest in its full manifestation”. There will always be growth. So healing and nutrition will go through a long gradual process. It is clear that there are some tendencies that we can point out.

One is of course that the further we move into the Golden Age, the more there will be this understanding, awareness of the connectedness of everything. There will be a clear connection seen between the psyche and the physical body. That means that healing will go primarily into focusing on energy and the resolution of psychological traumas and issues. There will come a series of gradual shifts where there will be developed new techniques for healing directly with energy. Even new machines or technology will be developed that can radiate certain forms of energy, that can for example kill viruses, kill harmful bacteria. Eventually there will be radiation that can restore cells to a state of health and balance.

There will be diagnostic techniques that are like the CAT scans that you have today but more sophisticated, so they can show the energy field, the chakras, they can show blocks in the chakras. They can show blocks in the energy field that prevent the free flow of energy in to the physical body. It will become obvious that when there is not the free flow of energy from the three higher bodies in to the physical body, that this is a major cause of disease. Because the cells are cut off from the energy that keeps them in a healthy condition. Therefore they are confined to only material energy, physical level energy and they cannot sustain themselves that way over a long period of time.

Nutrition likewise will go through various phases, first of all there will be a reinforcement of what you already see, where many people are becoming more aware of having pure nutrition that is not polluted by chemicals. There will be more of an awareness of the need to produce nutrition in a way that actually promotes the health of the people who eat it rather than the convenience or the profit of the people or the companies who produce the nutrition. So gradually there will be a refinement of nutrition, there will be a greater awareness of how the physical body is affected by the nutrition that you take in.

On the other hand, there will also be an awareness that when you resolve the psychology and therefore bring your cells in a more balanced condition, then nutrition is not actually as critical as it is when the cells are not balanced. When your cells are balanced, your body will be able to take a wider variety of nutritions and actually process them in a way that does not damage your health. Again it is a multifaceted approach and that is why at this point we do not want to be to specific about it. Because there isn’t just one thing you can do about nutrition.

One of the big breakthroughs both in understanding and technology will be the ability as I said, to diagnose an individual person’s energy field. This will open up for a much more individualistic approach to medicine but also to nutrition. It will no longer be so, that you have these medicinal companies that are seeking to create a monopoly on a particular medicine that can supposedly cure a certain disease. They do this of course to make a huge profit. There will be a new awareness, where there will be a realisation that it simply is not possible to create one type of medicine that works for all people with a certain disease.

On the contrary, you need to take an individual approach. You look at the energy field of the person. You also send the person to the equivalent of what you have today in psychologists and therapists, where they can look into their psychology and receive help in healing the psychology that is beyond the physical condition. So the same thing with nutrition, these diagnostic methods will open up for the possibility that you can have an individual approach to nutrition where you can see what exactly does your body need. You can even see – how does the body react to specific foods.

Now there will come a point as we move quite a bit further in to the Golden Age, where every person or at least every home has such diagnostic equipment. Where they can scan a person’s energy field and display it on the screen. Then they can themselves have some ability to diagnose what issues they have and can directly see how for example they are affected by nutrition for example. These are some of the possibilities that will open up when people become aware of the fact that everything is connected. That there is an underlying reality of energy. That we need to look at a person’s energy field in order to deal with the physical body.

Writing letters to the Karmic Board

Question: In the last dispensation we wrote letters to the ascended masters of the Karmic Board. Is it relevant for us these days to do that and if so when should we write such letters?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

Again an individual evaluation. If you feel it is relevant for you then by all means do so. You can do this at any time. You can write down the letter or a request and burn it. You can also as was tradition in a previous dispensation, write a letter every year at New Year where you asked for various things relating to the year that has past and also for help in the year that is coming. There are people for whom it is relevant to do this. There are others for whom it is no longer relevant, because when you have a more direct inner connection to us you do not need to write a letter. It is not so my beloved that we need to see something in writing before we can grasp what you desire, to ask of us. It is enough that you put your attention on us and you formulate a question in your mind, or that you ask for our help in your mind and we are able to tune in to you.

What I will say is that as part of progressive revelation, we have as we have said before had to start at a certain level. There were people for example – going back to the 1930’s that were at a certain level of consciousness where they were able to accept our existence, but they were projecting on us the images that they had developed as part of their culture or as part of their past embodiments. What many people projected on us was that we were kind of like the image that people have (in for example the Catholic religion) where when they light a candle or pray to Mother Mary, I am like a miracle worker who is going to appear and solve all of their problems.

As we have said before we are not Santa Claus, we are not the wish fulfilling God. What we will do is to help you resolve your own problems and issues by giving you insights to the degree that you are able to receive them. Which basically means you are in a neutral state of mind. This is what we are hoping that you will step up to in this time, so that you can come to develop a different relationship with us. Where you do not see us as being up there or out there, separate or remote from us, some deity that you need to pray to or call to, or perform some kind of ritual so you are in a sense ‘buying our favours” from us. But you see us as your constant guides who are looking to give you the insights that you need, so that you can co-create a better life for yourself. So that you can resolve the psychological blocks that stand in the way.

You will see that in traditional religions, such as the many Catholics who pray to me daily or light candles. What they are asking for, is that I as an external deity should solve their problems for them so they do not have to look at themselves and their own psychology. They do not have to look at the beam in their own eye. I recognise that there are people who are at a level of spiritual development (or lack of it if you will) where that is all they can do. That is the only way they can relate to me. You will also notice of course that many of these people do not have their prayers answered. You who know us in a more direct capacity, you have the potential to step up and develop a more direct inner personal relationship. That is of course what we are encouraging and what we have given you the tools to achieve by resolving the psychological blocks, the separate selves and so forth.

There is no physical thing that can cure any condition at any time

Question: What practical recommendations could the ascended masters give for the purification and healing of our physical bodies like for example the advice that was given by El Morya in previous dispensations on the use of baking soda.

There is always a reason behind what we do or do not do. It is often complex to explain this in words. What you need to realise is that everything that relates to human beings is an individual thing. You each have an individual situation. On the other hand there is a tendency in the human mind, part of it driven by the ego, that always wants to come up with an easy solution or with a solution that applies to all people.

So what we have seen is in the past, that when we gave specific advice on health such as the example of the use of soda – people have not always taken this in a balanced way. They have thought that because El Morya said this one time in a specific situation, it should now apply to all situations and to all people. It should be able to cure anything and everything. There is no physical thing that can cure any condition at any time. Because as we have given you hints of at this conference with our talk about the interdependent originations, everything in life is connected.

So in reality the situation is much more complex. This even applies to healing your physical body, where there is often some very complex psychological cause that needs to be resolved before the physical healing can occur. So starting at the physical with some kind of physical remedy, and then thinking this should be a miracle cure that can cure your ailment or any ailment, is not really realistic.

So what we are hoping today is that our students will step up more to using your intuition. To try to tune in to what applies to you in your present situation, instead of seeking for something from us that is so general that it will apply to all people at all times, so that you are essentially forcing or trying to force the issue.

When can we expect the next conference in the Russian territory?

Question: Is an Ascended Masters conference possible in Moscow in 2020?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

We would prefer to wait until certain shifts have happened in the collective consciousness of Russia. It is possible this could happen in 2020. But how can it be predicted? Even from our level, we cannot predict it because it depends on free will.

Right now we have a situation where we have given quite a number of dictation and teachings through this messenger about Russia and the situation in Russia. And we would much prefer that the students in Russia would take advantage of these teachings and make the calls based on these dictation so that there was a more spiritual work done before we have another Ascended Master conference in the Russian territory.

They are complicated reasons for this, but mainly it is a matter, as I said, producing a shift in the collective consciousness that we can use to give a very strong impetus for growth in Russia. That way the conference would have a greater effect. So it is more likely that it would have to wait maybe the following year, maybe even longer depending on certain developments.

So this is something that you can look into the possibility the practical aspects of organizing a conference. And then we can give you a more exact date and naturally we will give you a long time to prepare. But for now, we would say that look beyond next year for such an event.

The effect of making the calls and free will

Question: By making the calls for other countries, are we violating the free will of other people? Each of the ascended masters is able to remove all the darkness on earth and any of them needs only our calls. But we make the calls too many of them not only to one or two masters, I have a feeling that our calls for other countries are not so much directed to remove the darkness in those countries. But to remove something unreal within us, given that the light is not removed the darkness that exposes it, making it obvious for everyone to see. Yes, our calls are dedicated exactly to removing the darkness. And we have been giving them many times for a long period. Does it mean that the demons we make the calls to be removed are not removed, even after our numerous calls?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

When you make the calls, any of our calls, you are not violating the free will of other people, unless you make these calls with a very strong emotional overlay. For example, if you are angry, or if you charge your calls with a very strong desire for certain things to happen, then you can be directing energy at other people that could violate their free will and make karma for yourself. That is why we always have a preamble that qualifies this according to the vision of Christ, but you can still violate the free will of others if you have a very strong energy that you charge your calls with, which is of course why we encourage people to be neutral, when you are making the calls.

When you make a certain call, what we do with it is that we take it and we look at the situation (for example in a certain country) and we take the amount of energy that is released by the call and we use it where we evaluate it will do the most good. This may in some cases mean that we are not removing the specific dark forces you are calling for, because there are other forces that it is more important to remove first, or that can more easily be removed in a particular situation.

So, it is always an evaluation on our part and it is very complex and not something I decided to explain in detail because words are not very adequate for explaining this. What you can know is that your calls always have an effect. Now, in some cases the effect is that certain people are set free from certain dark forces, but they may choose not to use that opportunity and recreate the forces that were bound or taken. So that is why it may sometimes seem as if your calls do not have an effect.

You also need to recognize here that we are walking a delicate balance. On the one hand it is very important that some people will make these calls, we have seen many times how when people make prayers or give decrees, invocations and they do not get the result they expect, then they get discouraged. So, on the one hand, we need to give you the optimism that your calls will make a difference, on the other hand, if you could see what we see from the ascended level, see the amount of misqualified energy and the amount of demons and entities that are feeding off of this energy, you would realize that there is a very large amount of calls that need to be made before this planet will be purified of all of this darkness.

So, you see how on the one hand we want to give you the impression that your calls are making a difference so that you will make the calls. On the other hand, we realize that there are people who have been giving decrees or invocations for a very long time and you can then become discouraged when you do not see the results that you expect. That is where you need to step up and realize that there is actually a lot of dark energy that needs to be cleared, and with the amount of people that are giving these calls it will take time to clear it. If you had millions of people giving invocations, you would see a more immediate effect but as we have said before, you need to recognize that the calls do make a difference.

You have seen in Korea, how a relatively small number of people giving decrees and invocations precipitated a situation where the President was impeached. It was not the only cause, but also the people’s willingness to step up, the populations willingness to step up and demand change. As we have said before also, in previous dispensations the students gave hours and hours of decree services over a very long period of time and some have felt it did not have an effect, but it did in the sense that you saw the collapse of the Soviet Union and you did not see World War Three. So, you need to walk a delicate balance here.

On the other hand, it is also important that you do not become rigid about giving invocations. It is correct, as stated in the question, that part of the purpose of having you make calls is to bring about certain changes in your own four lower bodies and psychology. So, there can come a point where you have decreed for a certain amount of time for world conditions or other nations, and it is time for you personally to stop doing this and to move on to a different level of service. There are many people who need to go through a phase where they focus more intensely on resolving their psychology, including these separate selves.

Where a rigid decision to continue to make the calls, or give hours of decrees can actually slow down your progress because you are not making the effort to resolve the psychology, thinking it is more important to work on world conditions, but this is a very individual thing. As I said, you need to have a certain intuition and willingness to question: “Have I given enough invocations so that at least for time, I need to shift my focus and do something else?” Perhaps work on your psychology, perhaps use other spiritual techniques?

You need to be open to this at a certain point and you need to avoid using that outer mind that wants to say: “If I keep doing three hours of violet flame decrees every day for the rest of my life, then I’m guaranteed to make my ascension.” This is so tempting for the outer mind to come up with some goal like this. We have seen people who became rigid, who continued to do this for perhaps decades, but they made very little spiritual progress, because there wasn’t the resolution of psychology. As we have said before, the ascension is not an automatic process, it does require the resolution of psychology so that you are free to make the choice to leave the earth behind permanently.

I know very well, my beloved, that sometimes it can seem as if you are giving your invocations and decrees for world conditions, and you are just sending the energy into a black hole and there is no output, nothing happens. You need to recognize here that even though we have you make calls for specific physical conditions, those physical conditions are caused by something in the three higher realms, the emotional, mental and identity level. A physical condition may seem relatively simple at the physical level, but the causes at the three higher levels are always more complex and sometimes very much more complex.

There is a concept in Buddhism that you can benefit from studying, and that we may talk more about in the future is that of interdependent originations. In other words, the idea is that the common sense that there are these independent phenomena in the world is an illusion. There is nothing in the world that is independent, because everything is connected, everything is interdependent. So, even if you take a specific physical condition that might seem to be fairly simple, changing that condition may involve changing very complex connections in the three higher realms.

You have all seen these images of how the brain has this very, very complex neural network of connections all over the brain, but if you could see what is actually happening in the three higher realms, you would see that these connections are infinitely more complex than the human brain. This is why it can sometimes seem as if your decrees do not have an immediate or visible effect. But I can assure you that they always have an effect in the three higher realms. There will be changes, but because of this very complex network of connections it is not always possible to produce a physical change in a very short time.

But rest assured that your invocations and decrees DO have an effect. Even if you do not see a physical effect of that. There is not always an easy linear connection between your calls and the physical effect, because they need to cycle through this very complex network in the three higher realms. I am giving you this vision to give you the sense that your calls have an effect, so you can avoid becoming discouraged. I am also trying to not make it seem so complicated, that that in itself becomes a source of discouragement. But truly, everything you do has a positive effect, even if you do not see an immediate result.

How can ascended masters students improve their material and financial well-being?

Question: Why is it difficult for the ascended masters students to improve their material and financial well-being?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

Well, again, I have to say it is individual for each one. But there are general tendencies. One is that, for many, many spiritual people, they have a negative attitude towards the physical octave, their physical bodies. And often also a negative attitude to money, where for lifetimes, you have built up this idea that this is not spiritual, and the body is an enemy of your spiritual growth and that the money can very easily become a distraction on the spiritual path. And of course, some of you have experienced in past lifetimes that money did become a distraction that caused you to go into this blind alley of seeking more and more money instead of pursuing spiritual growth. So this is one reason. And in order to get beyond this, you need to look at the psychology. Again, look at what separate selves you have in relation to your material circumstances and money. And then resolve those selves so you can develop a different attitude.

There is also a general tendency that many spiritual people simply are not so focused on the physical octave. Your focus is within, your focus is on the spiritual realm, and many spiritual people, again, in combination with thinking that the material world is an enemy of your spiritual growth, have simply withdrawn their focus from the physical world. You are more focused on spiritual growth or having spiritual experiences. And so your awareness isn’t there, your focus is not there.

Another aspect of this, is that for some people, they are not willing to actually look at the practical side of it. What does it take to manifest certain physical conditions? Do you want to have a certain house of a certain standard? Do you want to have a certain amount of money? Then, what are the practical ways that this could happen, given the society in which you live? How have other people manifested these conditions? And then you need to make an evaluation, is this something you are willing to do, are you willing to do what it takes to make the amount of money that you need in order to manifest certain material conditions.

Because as with everything in the physical octave, it has a cost. You need to spend a certain amount of time, a certain amount of attention. We also have to be practical. You may have to learn certain things about how to make money, or how to attain a particular job. And it requires a certain amount of time and attention. So are you willing to give this? Some spiritual people or not. But then you should make peace with the fact that you have a certain standard of living.

We know that there are many, many spiritual people who have a very unrealistic expectation that somehow when they do their spiritual work or pursue spiritual growth, then God should take care of the money. We have many, many people who have started using, for example, treasure maps or affirmations, thinking that this will manifest the money. But really, the Alpha aspect of manifesting better material conditions, is to overcome the selves that are blocking you from taking the practical steps. And the Omega aspect is to take those practical steps.

But it is also a matter of deciding what it is you want, what kind of a life do you want. And then you look at the physical octave, and then you might decide that, yes, I see that other people have a certain material standard of living. I also see what is the cost of attaining this, the amount of time and attention they need to use on this, and I am not willing to do this. So you make peace with having a lower standard of living that can be attained without spending as much time and attention on. But this is an individual decision you need to make.

What you need to try to avoid is, what we see in many spiritual people, is where you’re sort of in between the two states, you haven’t really made a decision. Will you do what it takes to get a material standard of living, or will you not? And if you will not, then you make peace with that. Instead, there are people who are not willing to do the practical things, but they are still spending a lot of time and effort on, so to speak, forcing God to give them the money by doing treasure maps or invocations, or meditations or affirmations, or whatever. But they’re not clear in themselves what they actually want.

And so, it is important to work on attaining that clarity in yourself, where you overcome these selves that block or color your view of the material world, so that you don’t see it as an enemy of your spiritual growth, but you actually realize that it is possible to be in physical embodiment, and to see many physical activities as part of your spiritual growth. And so instead of being in this no man’s land where you haven’t made a clear decision, work on getting to the point where you can have that clear decision of what you are willing to do, what kind of a standard of living you have, and what you are willing to do to get it. Or, you could say in another way, what time and attention am I willing to spend on my material circumstances. And then you make peace with the level of living that you can have, when you spend that amount of time and attention.

It truly is very important as a spiritual person, that you come to a point where you can start overcoming this sense that the material world, the Mother Realm, is an enemy of your spiritual growth. Now we notice this is a delicate issue, because when you are relatively new on the spiritual path, most of you face the task of pulling yourself above the mass consciousness. You have to pull yourself higher than those in your family and most people in your society. So, this means that you may have to focus more on your spiritual growth than on your material circumstances.

But this is just a phase, and there comes that point where you have pulled yourself above the energies, and now you have more freedom to focus on resolving your psychology. And as you resolve your psychology, you come to that phase where you stop seeing the material world as your enemy. And you realize that it is possible to use a physical material activity as part of your spiritual growth. Having a job, having a career, getting better and better at performing a certain task, can very much be part of your spiritual growth. And when you do dedicate some attention to becoming better at performing a certain task, then you need to accept of course that you are entitled to a certain monetary reward for doing this.

This messenger went through a phase where he realized that he was doing valuable work by being a messenger and putting out the books and websites. But he had not actually acknowledged that it was only just and fair that he received a monetary compensation that allowed him to keep doing the work. And therefore he had to open himself to actually accept this. And this doesn’t mean that he has a high standard living compared to most people, but it is adequate according to his needs.

And so, this is what you need to strive for, to find that individual balance, where you can actually see that the way you make money is part of your spiritual growth, even part of your spiritual service. You need to overcome this sense that your spiritual activities are here and making money is just something you need to do over here, and I want to spend the least amount of time and attention on it.

When you start resolving your psychology, you can bring the two together. And you can see that you can make a decent living in a way that actually helps you further your own spiritual growth, but also helps other people, the people you work with, because you can give them something that can help them grow. And so this becomes an upward spiral for you, where there is no contradiction between doing what you have to do to live in the material world, and pursuing your spiritual growth.

How to go into the heart

Question: Can you provide advice on the very most advanced method of entering into the heart, namely, how to go into the heart and recognize who I am? What is there to do or not to do for this?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

As with everything else, it is an individual matter. So there is no one most efficient or most advanced method. In general, most people have, especially if they have grown up in a non-spiritual or anti spiritual environment, they have a lot of fear based energy that are clogging up their heart chakra. So it is very important to clear that energy by using the tools, the decrees and invocations. Naturally, you have the invocation for clearing the heart, the rosary of unconditional love, and many other of these invocations that are actually designed to help you clear your chakras. So you can use those.

But when it comes to actually going into the heart, there are many different methods whereby you can focus within and go within. And we have given meditations for that purpose. But if you feel that there are other methods that are out there in a world that appeal to you more individually, you should of course use them. This is not, and you have to be careful here, that you make this very clear distinction that going into the heart is not a mechanical process.

There is no mechanical method that will work for everybody, or that will work for one person all the time. Because it is a matter of you being willing to step outside of your normal state of awareness, focus your attention in your heart, and it is a matter of how open you are to receiving what impulses, impressions, visions you can get through the heart chakra, or the secret chamber of the heart. And so there are many factors here that play in. And it simply isn’t possible to define a method that will always work because it is a matter of your willingness to go into that neutral state of mind, where you ask an open question, without having any opinion or intention or expectation about what the answer should be or should not be. And in order to get to that point where you are able to be more neutral, it is primarily a matter of resolving all of these separate selves. And truly when you resolve the birth trauma, it will be much easier for you to go into the heart.

Question about Kim’s perception and perspective on life

Question: My question is about you, Kim. What is your perception of the world, of your bodies, lower bodies, higher bodies? How would you incorporate yourself into the world system?

Answer from Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

Kim: The older I get, the less I have to say about myself, because the less I look at myself from a human perspective. I just don’t even think about myself, as I did for example years ago, from a more human perspective.

Question: So, to be more specific, it wasn’t a question about how you as a human being perceive the world, but you as a spiritual being.

Kim: Yeah, but that’s what I’m trying to say. That when you transcend the human perspective, it’s like you don’t think the same way, you don’t analyze and evaluate and judge things, including yourself or the world.

I’m just focused on, first of all, I’m focused on growing spiritually, but I’m also focusing on doing the work I’m doing for the masters. And I also focus some of my time and attention on just living a normal life and doing the things I have to do in an active life. And so I don’t really know, I really don’t have any answer to it as such.

I used to have more opinions about the world and about many things, and now I have almost no opinions. I don’t make any judgments about other people and what other people should do, how they should live their lives. I don’t make any judgment about what should happen in the world because I know it’s all up to people’s free will. I’m much more free when I don’t evaluate what other people should or shouldn’t be doing.

Question about masters’ recommendations for group practices

Question: We ask the ascended masters to give us recommendations for group practices. In particular, we want to know what invocations, decrees and rosaries are most needed to give for the efficient cleansing of the earth’s octaves from the fallen beings, fallen angels and the consciousness of anti-christ?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

Well, it will depend on where you are in the world. And what is the purpose of your coming together. You need to simply study the teachings that are given, study the invocations, and see how they apply to your group, in your nation, or whatever purpose you have dedicated your group to making calls for.

And we have given so many invocations that call for the judgment of the fallen beings or dark forces, that there isn’t just one. Of course, if I was to mention one, we have the original Archangel Michael’s rosary, which calls for a wide variety of conditions. But there are also many others that are more specific to certain topics. And so you need to simply look at them and decide which one is most appropriate for your situation and your purpose.

Spiritual perspective on the speech delay

Question: I am from Russia, my son is two years, eight months old and he has a speech delay. Doctors says that this is a general tendency, and the number of such children with this condition is growing. What is the cause of that phenomenon?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Ukraine in 2019.

Well, as with any such phenomenon, it can be very individual for the individual child, but there are two main tendencies. One is that there are children who are coming into embodiment who have been severely hurt in previous lifetimes, often because they have been exposed to a war, or other conditions. This can cause a child to be very reluctant to speak, and to express because it is overwhelmed by the emotions that it feels because it is now again in physical embodiment. It feels this as threatening, because it does not know what can happen. “Could I be hurt as badly as in my last lifetime?” is what the child would say if it was able to articulate this.

Now you also have, in some children that have grown up in a society such as the Soviet Union, where they were not free to speak. They were not free to say what they wanted. You have a number of children, who have re-embodied because in their last lifetime they were in embodiment in the Soviet Union, they were either persecuted, perhaps even executed for having said something. This can also make them very reluctant to speak in this lifetime. These are sort of, the one side of it, of children who were traumatized in a past lifetime.

But you also have some children that are actually more evolved souls that come into embodiment. These children are just more focused within. They are not as outgoing as what you would call “normal children”, because they are more spiritually mature, and they are more focused on their inner lives. These children, when they come into embodiment again, they feel the contrast between their inner spiritual life and their outer situation, where the energies are so dense in the physical octave, that they want to maintain their inner attunement and awareness as long as they can. Therefore, they will often be more inward, they will be less communicative. There are even some children, not many, but some of those who have been diagnosed with autism, who fall in this category, where they shut themselves completely off from the physical octave, because of the difference in energies. For these children, it is not something you really need to do anything about because they will gradually grow out of it as they become older and realize they need to start working on their divine plan, which was after all, what brought them into embodiment.

Of course, how can you know, whether your child is in one category or the other? Well, you can know intuitively, if you have good intuition, but otherwise, you should, of course, do what is available to you, what is practical for your life, to help the child. But do not seek to force the child because whether the child is in the traumatized category or the more developed category, it does not do any good to force the child. You can seek to support the child, but be patient, give the child some time to grow until it is ready to start speaking. In other words, do not look at the child as being deficient if it is not speaking at the normal time. And first of all, do not look at yourself as being a deficient parent, because you have a child that isn’t speaking. It would especially be non-constructive if you have given birth to one of these advanced children, and then because of that, feel that you are not adequate as a parent. The opposite is actually the case.

The teaching about the difference between inner vision and clairvoyance

Question: Is there a difference between inner vision and clairvoyance? Do ascended masters students need to develop a vision? And if so, are there any special techniques for developing inner vision or clairvoyance?

Well, it depends on how you use words. In the way we use words, we do not talk about clairvoyance, because it has been used in many different ways by different groups of people. We generally talk about an inner vision instead and we do not actually mean the same thing that most people mean when they talk about clairvoyance, because they talk about somebody who has the ability to clearly see or even physically see, for example, your aura, or the astral plane or other phenomena. What we desire our students to develop is not what you normally call clairvoyance, but the inner vision, where you have the ability to receive impressions from inside yourself.

Now, for some people, they are more visually-oriented. It is easier for them to see in images or understand things that are shown to them in images. Other people are more auditory, and therefore they understand things better when they hear them. We are not trying to say here that one thing is better than the other. In fact, when we talk about inner vision, we mean first of all, that you get an intuitive impression from within. And whether this comes in the form of images that you see from your inner eye, or in the form of words that you received from your higher self, or even more subtle sensations that you received from your higher self or the masters. This is just a matter of what type of person you are, and how it is most easy for you to receive these impressions. It is not that one is better than another.

But generally, what we mean with inner vision is that you are not having your eyes open and seeing something at the physical level, or even beyond the physical level. It is something that goes on inside your mind, and is not really related to your physical senses.

Most people when they talk about clairvoyance, they talk about something that is related to the senses and often an extension of the senses. In other words, you can see energies that most people cannot see with their physical eyes. This is not something we deliberately encourage people to develop, if it happens, it happens, it is part of your divine plan. But there are many, many people who have, many spiritual people who have developed this ambition to, for example, have their third eye opened. And it can often have a not very constructive, even dangerous effect on people because they might even force their third eye open and be able to see the astral plane and they will find it very difficult to deal with.

What we encourage is a much more balanced approach. What can you do to develop inner vision? Well, you walk the path, you use the tools we have. First of all, you need to clear your three higher bodies of lower energies, but also resolving psychology, resolving these selves that actually block you from receiving the impressions from your higher self and from us.
