Do the ascended masters miss anything about being in physical embodiment on earth?

Question: Is there anything the ascended masters miss about being in physical embodiment on planet earth? Was there an activity you did or any experience that you could have that and that you enjoyed that you can no longer have in the ascended state?

As an ascended master, you don’t miss anything on earth because if you did, you would not be an ascended master, you would come back into embodiment until you had had enough of that experience.  You can ask yourself this: “Do you miss the pants you wore when you were 10 years old?” You have bigger pants today and they fit you better. That is how it is in the ascended realm. Everything here is better. Sure, there are things you can’t do in the ascended realm that you can only do on earth, such as killing other people.

And I admit that many, many ascended masters who were in embodiment and as a warrior, including myself, found a certain enjoyment in being a good warrior, as is even described in the “My Live’s” book. But nevertheless, once you become an ascended master, this all falls away. It’s just completely gone. There is nothing you miss. There are of course many beautiful things on earth, first of all the love between people. But we have a love between the ascended masters that is far more free than the love between people.

Economy in the golden age

Question: Capitalism has allowed the average man of today to live better than the nobles of yesteryear. Yet the masters don’t seem particularly excited about the future of this system, or even of moving from a debt-based economy to a gold standard. Can you elaborate on this and what kind of economic system or life system they envision?

You cannot say that the average citizen today has a higher standard of living than the noble class in medieval Europe. Because the average citizen today still has to work for living, still has to do their own housework and bring up their own children instead of having 500 people do all the work for them. It is, of course, possible to take a one-sided view of capitalism and compare it to how it was 200 years ago and say, there’s much more wealth in societies today, and the average person of today is better off than the average person of 200 years ago. But is that because of capitalism or in spite of capitalism?

You need to recognize here that there are two separate elements here. Underlying everything is the economy itself, which is based on certain universal principles. You might call them natural laws. You might call them spiritual laws, or certain principles that are working in the economy. Then human beings have from time-to-time in different historical epochs come up with various ideologies or theories that they have super imposed upon the economy, wanting the economy to work a certain way.

What you see going on here is simply this: the collective consciousness is being raised and has been in the process of being raised for a long time. As the collective consciousness is raised, the economy will grow. It’s an inevitable follow up of the raising of the collective consciousness. The economic growth you have seen primarily in the democratic world, over the past couple of hundred years, is a natural follow up of the raising of the collective consciousness. It is also a follow up of democracy and a more egalitarian society that gives greater opportunity to greater numbers of people.

Capitalism, however, is an economic system that at least when you talk about what has been called crony capitalism or monopoly capitalism, has the purpose of concentrating wealth in the hands of a small elite. What we have said before is that there is an alternative is to have no economic system. We are human beings are not creating a theory and super imposing it upon the economy, saying this is how the economy should work. Instead, you use the scientific process, and the incredible knowledge and tools that is available today, to actually determine how does the economy work based on these natural principles?

I can assure you that if you could take a team of economists and people from other sciences, put them together and have them all be neutral and have the goal of discovering these universal principles for how the economy works, they could do it. The reason why this hasn’t happened, the reason why there hasn’t been a theory that comes out about it, is that the power elite have sabotaged this time and time again because they want to maintain monopoly capitalism. Get the power elite out of the equation, like Sanat Kumara said, all of the basis for a sustainable economy that isn’t focused on profit, but focused on serving all of the people are there, they are in place.

Why aren’t they working? Because the power elite is systematically sabotaging it. You will not have a natural economy as long as you allow the power elite to sabotage and monopolize. It cannot happen. It will not happen. It is not a matter of coming up with another system. It’s a matter of discovering the natural principles that make the economy work. This is doable. But the fallen beings will do everything in their power to prevent it.

The spiritual implication of Brexit

Question: What is the spiritual implication of Brexit in the UK and Europe? And if it happens, how will it change the energy of Europe?

We have talked about this before. So, I will not repeat what we have said before. What I will comment on is these latest developments. And the spiritual implication could be that the British people wake up and say – are these the kind of leaders we want to lead our nation? You look at this, quite frankly, the only word I can come up with here is “circus” that the parliament members have created, for as one newspaper recently said, “Instead of the House of Lords, it should be called the house of fools”. And the people need to come and see this and say –  If they are so incapable of executing this process, then are these the kind of leaders we want?

Now, the people could then also stand up, which quite frankly, one can ask oneself why that hasn’t happened already, and demand a second referendum based on what they know today. Because it’s clear that when the first referendum was done, most people thought that exiting the EU would be an easy process that would basically maintain all the advantages and get rid of all the disadvantages of being in the EU and now that people realize this isn’t the case, one must ask whether they would have voted the same way and this can of course, only be found out by having a second referendum.

Now, if it does happen, which it looks, more likely than not that it will happen, one can ask the question, how will this influence the energies of Europe? And it already has influenced the energies of Europe in profound ways because it has actually made many countries who were not necessarily so positive about EU membership, realize that it is to their advantage to remain in the EU rather than going through the same circus that they see unfolding in Britain. And this can have a positive effect of making the countries commit more to making the EU work.

EU is not ideal, but it is certainly a step in the right direction for Europe, creating more unity, overcoming all of the division and warring from the past, and therefore in a sense, forcing the European nation together so that they can hopefully learn to cooperate. So this would be the most positive shift, if the nations would make a greater commitment to cooperation. It’s clear that the British leadership and the British people did not have that commitment. And therefore, as we have said before, they may need to simply exit, at least for a time to then see how they experience being outside the EU and then making a decision of whether they want to reenter or whether they want to stay outside.

Evil was not created as a necessary polarity to good

Question: I was happy to hear that our planet is one of only a few unnatural ones, and that the overwhelming majority are natural planets. I am happily anticipating when all darkness will be blotted out. However, I wonder about the action of other universes, if they are made the same essentially as ours? Doesn’t that necessitate a little darkness? If that is the case, isn’t darkness, innocence, immortalized in the creation of new universes?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well, first of all, I would say that, don’t worry too much about other universes, focus on the one you’re in. Let’s just take one universe at a time. But the question is based on an incomplete understanding of free will. Evil can never be immortalized. Evil was not created as a part of this universe. Evil was not created by God or the ascended masters as a necessary polarity to good. Evil is entirely the result of free will. As we said in the first three spheres no being fell. It isn’t inevitable that there will be a fall into duality and that people will create evil or beings will create evil.

There are, of course other worlds of form that are created by other creators. And there are almost an infinite number of them, at least an overwhelming number. And the vast majority of them do not have evil or darkness. Because people, the beings, the inhabitants have not made that choice. It isn’t inevitable there is nothing inevitable about evil. And it is important to realize that as an ascended master student and we have given many teachings on it that you can study because there are of course some ideas put out by the fallen beings, such as, for example, the ideas of a demiurge that is a counterpart to God and that it was necessary to create light and darkness at the same time.  This is not a true idea whatsoever. It’s an artificially created idea in order to legitimize, perhaps even immortalize the existence of darkness and make people believe this. So again, evil is always the result of choice. In the duality consciousness, it seems like there must always be two polarities. But in the Christ consciousness you can clearly see that there do not need to be two polarities.

The situation in Korea 2,5 year after the presidential election

Question: This is a question for Korea. Is Korea on track for moving to the Golden Age after impeachment of the president Park in March 2017, the new president Moon was selected from the people. After two and a half years later with the new president, there has been good progress for some areas, but it has not progressed, or it has not been proceeding well for some areas, especially the legal system. Lately, Korea is under a big struggle between two groups of people for reforming the Public Prosecutions office and installation of the Senior Corruption Investigation unit. Many Koreans believe that the public prosecution office has too much power having both the investigation and prosecution of crimes. Lately, about two months, millions of people in the streets have been demonstrated peacefully like three years ago in Korea. In the meantime, similar numbers of opposite groups oppose these things very strongly and they have been demonstrating also. How do the ascended masters see the current situation in Korea? What can ascended masters students do this time? And Korea students are planning to follow up with the invocations for direct democracy and the legal system of golden age with the new book accepting Saint Germain’s Golden Age.

Well, you need to recognize here that the golden age is a process, not an end result. There is not a point, as I said before, where we say now we have the golden age and before we didn’t, and now it will remain the same for the next until the end of the 2000-year period. It is a process that will go on throughout the next 2000 years. From that perspective, it’s really not necessary to ask is Korea on track. It would be more constructive to ask is Korea making as much progress as it could be making right now. And the answer to that question is actually a yes, with some hesitation.

Of course, there is resistance to change, as you see in these demonstrations. But that is actually to be expected, because at the current level that the earth is at and that Korea is at, society is still polarized into the dualistic camps and so It’s just what you can expect that there will be some opposition to it. And there will always be those who oppose change because they want to maintain status quo.

Those are the ones who are overpowered by the power elite who want to maintain status quo because they don’t want to lose their power. That is why they didn’t want to let go of the previous president who was the kind of president they wanted, because he was corrupt so they could manipulate him. You see that it’s clear that we want a reform of all areas of society, a gradual reform, and we want to reform of the legal system in Korea and most other nations.

You can do exactly what you are doing, make the calls, use these calls specifically for the legal system. But also, other calls we have given for Korea because they all have an impact on raising the collective consciousness. And what really needs to happen here is not primarily every form of the legal system but a raising of the collective consciousness. In other words, you need to recognize that in order to reform the legal system, you need to raise the collective consciousness so that people can accept the need to reform it and accept a new system. You are very much doing the best you can be doing, given the situation, given your numbers, and I commend you for your efforts.

What was before the creation of our world of form?

Question: Before the first sphere was created, and there was only the allness and the Creator, what was occurring in the spiritual realm since no spheres existed?

Well, there was no spiritual realm as we define it, because our definition is that you have this latest unascended sphere and then all of the spheres that have ascended comprise the spiritual realm. When there was only the allness there was no, of what we call, the world of form.

Well, there were other worlds of form than the one in which we are in. But there was not what you today, what we today call the spiritual realms. What was occurring is, we have hinted at it before, we have given some teachings a long time ago, but it is really impossible to put words on this because it is so beyond the concepts you have in an unascended sphere. So really, I would have to use the saying that you see in TV series “To be continued after you ascend”.

Lost time on the spiritual path

Question: In a given lifetime, why does it take so long for many students to find the ascended masters? When we have found the masters, why is it so difficult and takes so long to find and activate our divine mission or plan? Why is this so much? Why is so much time lost in this way during a single lifetime?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

The real way to look at this is that there is no time lost. You have to go through certain experiences before you are ready to find the teachings in your outer consciousness. The practical way to look at it is to say: “I needed to have the experiences that I had before I found the teachings to open my mind to find the teachings.” That is the practical approach.

Now if you go a little bit back in time to before the internet, then it was much more difficult from a practical standpoint to find the teachings of the ascended masters. At that time, it was much more likely that people could take longer, that actually could be ready to find the teachings but they had not found them in the physical. This is less of a problem today with the internet, but it can of course happen. But in general, still you need to say: “I needed that experience in order to be ready, so I am not going to worry about whether I wasted time or not.”

Now when you have found the teachings, again, you need to look at, there is no time wasted here. Finding the teachings is just the beginning of a long process. It takes time to integrate the teachings, to heal your four lower bodies, to overcome all of the separate selves and all of this, to purify your chakras, whatever you have. Quite frankly, by finding the teachings you have fulfilled an important element of your divine plan. It is also very likely that whatever you did before you found the teachings was part of your divine plan.

You cannot simply say that only when I consciously see my divine plan, have I started doing my divine plan. You start in childhood, because you have a certain inner sense of what your divine plan is, even though you are not consciously aware of it or are able to formulate it in words.

Most of what happens to you in your lifetime is part of your divine plan, because your Divine plan is not just about what you are supposed to do, but also about the experiences you have and how that helps you grow. It is important to avoid any sense of disappointment that it took too long and now you are behind, because it so often causes people to go into this unbalanced reaction that the messenger described where you become over eager to make up for lost time, to compensate and suddenly you have to save the world and yourself in five minutes. It just does not work that way. You still need to go to a process and part of that process is to have certain experiences.

It is not and we have tried to say this before.  It is not possible to create a program or give a certain knowledge that will instantly change a person. Even if you imagine that we created a physical retreat somewhere, and I was the teacher in that retreat, I could not have you just walk in there and I sat there and gave you knowledge and understanding and after a certain amount of time, you would then be enlightened.

Because in order to integrate that understanding, you need certain experiences and that takes time, it is a certain process. In order to overcome certain selves, you need to have a certain experience that helps you see those selves, see your reactionary patterns. It is an Alpha and Omega, you receive teachings, but you also need to have certain experiences. Again, why consider time being wasted? Instead, it is more constructive to say: “It is all part of the experiences I need. How can I make better use of the teachings from now on?”

How to write books for children about ascended masters

Question: In writing books to introduce children to the teachings of the masters, what would be the youngest age to target and with which concepts? And what’s the next step after that?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

There is not necessarily a youngest stage in the sense that it is not just a matter of writing books to give knowledge to children. But you can start at a very early stage even in the womb, exposing children to chants, music, even invocations. Children at a young age are, of course, more responsive to experiences than to knowledge that can be expressed in words. The more complex concepts you need to wait until the children are able to deal with words, which really happens at the age when they start being able to read themselves. Naturally, you can read to them before that age, but that needs to be not so much to give them knowledge and understanding but more to tell a story.

How to do it is, of course, too complex of a topic. It is really a matter of your own creativity, your experience with children, your education, your background. You can see how to use that, to express the concept of the ascended masters’ teachings. I would, as a general rule, counsel you to keep it simple for children, not because they are stupid, but because their minds are more focused on experiences, images, sounds, impressions, stories, symbols and not so much on intellectual understanding.

Conspiracy theories about vaccinations

Question: Several whistleblowers have come out with evidence that certain vaccines, like MMR (Measles-Mumps-Rubella), have caused side effects in young children such as autism and even death. It also seems that anyone that questions the health effects of vaccines is vilified and destroyed in the media. Moreover, many people get very angry when these arguments are raised. Do the masters support vaccines? Is there a link between certain vaccines and autism and what is behind this movement to push vaccines?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

We have actually commented on vaccines before, I will not repeat that here. But I wish to comment on this consciousness that you cannot question the vaccines and you become vilified by questioning them. This is of course, not a condition we support. There is nothing that cannot be questioned. The reality is that you live in a democratic nation and if a certain number of citizens have a concern, then it needs to be addressed openly. There is of course, a certain movement from the fallen beings that in the longer perspective would like to create a program where everybody was forced to get certain vaccinations that would have the effect of pacifying them. There is no question that there is that intent. There was even some research being done on it in certain laboratories that of course, are not open to the public.

But as we have said before,vaccines were a necessary step for eradicating certain illnesses. What you also have in this equation is that there are other fallen beings who will use any issue to attempt to create conflict and distrust. This is what you see behind many conspiracy theories. The purpose is simply to create this conflict, confusion and distrust leading to chaos. It is important to find some kind of balance here, where of course the questions need to be asked and addressed.

But on the other hand, look at the situation of the government who is doing the best they know how to do. Most government officials involved with this or any other area, they are doing the best they can. They are busy with their jobs. Can you really expect them to address every conspiracy theory that comes up? You have to find some kind of balance there. It is clear that there will come a point where vaccines are no longer necessary and it is clear that there needs to be an ongoing process of refining vaccines, and really studying: “Do they have side effects that we can measure or don’t they?” And if they do, then naturally, they need to be changed, so you overcome those side effects.

Taking on the illusions necessary to embody on earth

Question: The masters have said that in order to embody, one must take on the illusions necessary to descend to the 48th level of consciousness. How does this happen? Does our own I Am Presence insert illusory programming into our fourth for lower bodies?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

No, the I AM Presence does not insert illusions. You can compare this to a spiral staircase where the conscious you starts at the 144th level and then walks down the staircase one step at a time. At each step of the staircase, there is a particular illusion.  This illusion is,in a sense, a general illusion that has been created over time in its present form by the collective consciousness. It is influenced by the collective consciousness and the presence of fallen beings on the planet. But when the conscious you steps down to a certain step, it does not just take on the illusion in its general form. The conscious you makes a certain decision when it steps into the vibration, the force field of this illusion.

You have an individual reaction to the general illusion that becomes the belief that you then form at that step, and then you repeat the process at the next step down and keep going until the 48th level. There are, of course, certain general trends that characterize these solutions, but each of you have your own individual version of it. That is why you need to come to that insight of: “What exactly it means for you? What exactly is the particular form of the illusion?”, perhaps even certain words or beliefs that you have, and that’s how you become free of it.

You can say that, as you start the path upwards, you are walking up that spiral staircase from the 48th level and at each level you come to see through the illusion. You see it for the illusion it is and when you see it as an illusion, you let go of it, then you rise to the next step. When you take the course of self-mastery, we go through the seven rays, we can, of course, only give you that general awareness of what the illusion is at that level. It is up to you to go within, to ask the master, the Chohan for help, in seeing exactly how it is for you, so you can dismiss it and rise above it.

The role of Canada in the world

Question: What is the role of Canada in the world from a higher perspective?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

The role of Canada is to be Canada.  That is of course not a very specific answer.  But the question is, “is it meaningful to give a more specific answer?” Because the Canadian people, as the people of any nation have a certain collective consciousness and this is not meant only in a negative, although all nations have certain not so constructive momentum, but all nations have a positive potential to bring forth something, to give some kind of positive example to the world.

It really isn’t so much that Canada has a role in the world. Canada has the potential to provide a balance for the United States. If you look at Canada, you see that in some ways Canada is a more advanced democracy than the United States, you have more healthcare you have a different attitude. You are not so aggressive. Canada is not really a nation that is out to police the world. So Canada has the potential to hold a spiritual balance for the United States, even if the United States never realizes and acknowledges that this is happening. You do this by continuing to develop and express the qualities that you have.

You can say that right now there is the negative potential where you are saying that Canadians are always apologizing. They are not very willing to take a stand for themselves.

But there is a positive potential of this, that Canadians are not as aggressive as Americans. They are more willing to look at themselves to evaluate whether what they are doing is the highest that it could be. The fact that you are more willing to apologize is also an important quality, because you are willing to acknowledge if you have stepped too far, and therefore say, “We recognize that we have gone too far. We want to make amends and we apologize for it.” That is not a quality you see particularly pronounced south of the border.

You see, for example, how the German nation has repeatedly apologized for the Holocaust and the Second World War and the whole Nazi debacle. This has been very important for the healing of the German people to do this. It really could also be important for the American national psyche, to be healed by doing this and whether that will ever happen or not, remains to be seen.

But certainly one potential that Canada has is to give that example, that you don’t have to take yourself so seriously, that you become almost paranoid about acknowledging your mistakes, completely unwilling to acknowledge your mistakes, that it is actually far easier, far, far greater relief and freedom for you if you acknowledge your mistake, apologize for it, and then you can move on rather than continuing to suppress the mistake, which leads to a tension in the national psyche.

There is a very strong tension in the American national psyche, based on some of the actions that have happened, really starting very seriously with the Vietnam War, but also both the first and the second Gulf War, but of course many other things, such as the CIA doing government takeovers and creating revolutions in various countries and many other things like this. So there are many things that the American nation could benefit from apologizing for.

It is a potential that the Canadian people could give an example but even hold a spiritual balance that would allow America to move closer to that point, because it is clear that Canadians are not taking themselves and their nation as seriously as the Americans do.

The question about the causal body

Question: I am confused by the causal body, where positive momentums from our physical embodiments are put into the storehouses up in heaven, can this be described further? What exactly are we accumulating in the causal body? 

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well the simplest way to describe this is to say that any experience that you are having while you are in in physical embodiment, you are having that experience through, in many cases, your separate selves and therefore you might experience a certain condition as a negative experience, there isn’t anything positive you can see about it, it’s unpleasant and you just want to avoid it but your I AM Presence is looking at this from the outside, it is not inside these external or these separate selves, so it has an entirely different experience. Any experience you are having, the I AM Presence can extract a positive lesson from it or positive experience from it and therefore, it is that experience that is stored in the causal body.

You might then ask, “Well, what if you, the conscious you, if you are having a positive experience or an experience of expanding your consciousness, expanding your understanding and overcoming, is that also stored in the causal body?” The answer to that is slightly more complex, because it can be stored in a causal body but not exactly the way you see it at the level of the conscious you, but again at the level of the I AM Presence. So you could say that the I Am Presence is the guardian of what goes into your causal body, not the conscious you. The I AM Presence looks at every experience the conscious you has and decides, should it go into the causal body or should it not.

Then you might ask the question, “Well, if you have had many, many lifetimes and in many of those lifetimes you were suffering, you were poor, you led an eventless life, what can the I AM Presence get out of that?”  There is a certain element where you could say that if you have had many, many lifetimes, where you repeat the same pattern, you must say that there is no new experience for the I AM Presence. It has already seen what it needs to see from that type of experience, but nevertheless, it can accumulate these experiences in the causal body where they then gradually can reach a certain mass that makes it easier for you to tune into it from the level of the conscious you and sort of access what we might say is an accumulated memory. This can then help you make the decision that you no longer want to repeat that experience. You have had enough of it. This can help you make that conscious decision that then raises you to a higher level where you start having a different experience, having a different lifetime.

Learning the lesson from a difficult physical condition

Question:  If in our life, we are suffering from a condition that is not terminal, but nevertheless does impact severely on the quality of our life, meaning that we are really only having an existence instead of life. There is little or no potential for healing or cure and we could live 20 to 30 more years in this way. Is it legitimate in this instance to end our own life? Do the masters think that we should stick it out to the bitter end?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well, if you are conscious and coherent enough to ask such a question, and consider the answer, then you’re also conscious and coherent enough to make positive use of the experience in terms of seeking to overcome certain conditions in your consciousness, some of the separate selves that relate to the condition.  So, basically we could say that if you are conscious enough to consider ending your own life, then you are also conscious enough to consider whether you have learned and overcome and resolved everything that you could potentially get out of this experience.

Therefore, I would strongly recommend that you make an effort to really learn and resolve as much as you possibly can. There are of course, people who are in such a state that they cannot make that decision, they couldn’t even make the decision to end their life and that’s a much more complicated issue where there really is not a general answer because it is individual and if there was somebody with some Christ discernment, it could easily be resolved, but in some cases it is up to the family members to make a decision and they must do that based on their level of consciousness.

There have been cases where a person for example, has been in a coma and that person had the Buddhic level of consciousness, and was therefore holding a spiritual balance by being in a physical environment. So if the family had decided to end the person’s life, it would actually have been a detriment to the planet and to the person. But there are also other times where the soul is simply trapped in the body, and is needlessly suffering, you are held back and it would be better for the soul to move on into other into higher realms and other experiences. If the family was able to tune into that, then it would help the soul progress.

We have already commented on whether you should take your own life or in some cases, stop a treatment that simply keeps the body alive beyond the natural course of the illness. So I will not go into that here.

Demonstrations and protests in Hong Kong

Question: How do the masters see the events in the Hong Kong protests? Has the violence reduced the potential for freedom to manifest in Hong Kong?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Anytime that people resort to violence, it greatly reduces the effect of a demonstration. It diverts the energies actually into a downward spiral, a negative matrix instead of carrying them upwards where they can produce a more powerful change. Now, of course, you have to recognize here that you are dealing with an oppressive regime. And as many other oppressive regimes, whenever they feel threatened, such as by demonstrations, they will attempt to sabotage that process by themselves creating violence. They are certainly not beyond sending people in that are deliberately sent in to create violence in order to discredit the protesters, and make it seem legitimate for the government that they need to step in with force in order to squash the protests.

So in some cases, you can say that the people who are demonstrating for positive change are not the ones creating the violence, it is actually, deliberately done by those who are threatened by the protests. And in that case, it doesn’t have quite the same negative effect. But it still is, of course, very unfortunate when there is violence because it does create a vortex of fear-based energy. And of course, it gives an excuse for an oppressive government to then use force to suppress the protests.

But clearly, there is a positive spiral in the Hong Kong protests that have a potential to create some real change in China. How that will play out is very, very difficult to say because it depends on just a very few people in the Chinese government and the decisions they make. These people are either fallen ones, fallen beings, or their minds are very heavily influenced by the fallen beings so it is as yet unpredictable what they will do, whether they will use more violence to suppress the protest, or whether they will actually come to a point where they realize the need to create some change.

Discussion with Kim about being a messenger

Question: This is for you Kim. This is question about channeling how you channel what you see or hear? What happens in your body? How did you learn this? How do you prepare to become a channeler? 

Answer from Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

I have talked about this before. Some of you are familiar with it. The reason why I thought I was willing to bring it up is that there are quite a few new people here. I would like to see how many are interested in me commenting on that question. Just a few. I guess I will comment briefly on it.

First of all, I do not really use the word channeling myself. The reason I do not use that is because channeling means so many different things to different people. I do not present myself as “channeler” or the word messenger is what masters have traditionally used.

It is not very easy for me to say how I do it because I really do not do it. I do not do anything. The most important aspect of the whole thing is that I go into a neutral state of mind. I do not have in my outer mind any intentions of what the masters should say or should not say.

As I have said before, it is not like I hear words coming from some place and then I repeat them. What I tune into is a stream of energy that comes from the masters and it is not something I can start or I can make happen. It is something that the masters make happen if they do not make it happen, there is no dictation. Once I tune into it, then there is that stream of energy. Then it is not even that I see the words or the ideas or the concepts and then repeat them. It is like the words just start flowing. Then I hear the words as they are being spoken. There is no process in my mind that goes on before the words come out of my mouth. There is not really anything in my mind I can interfere with—I could stop the process, I cannot interfere with it. I cannot direct it, control it.

It is dependent on how I express myself at words, how I use words, what concepts I have in my mind. There has to be a vocabulary. It’s not just words but a vocabulary of ideas and concepts that the masters can use. Otherwise there is no structure in my mind. It is like the principle of the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail is a chalice that is raised up. Then the light from above can be poured into it. If there is no chalice there is nothing for the light to be poured into. If there is a topic that I know absolutely nothing about, I could not take a dictation. There are of course many times where I know something and the masters can say something that is beyond what I know. They often do that.

Sometimes before dictation I have some concepts or even sometimes a sentence that they want to start with. That helps me get going and tune into the flow. And once I am in the flow, it just keeps flowing. There are many times where I really stand up there and I have no idea what it is going to be said. You look at a conference like this where now I have taken, for several days, I have taken five, six dictations that have been up to an hour each. There is no way I could prepare this in my mind. There is no way I could sit at home and write a dictation and memorize it and then come here and mouth it off. It just can’t happen.

Neither is there any way I could make this up as I go. I have not studied the topic much, I read that book on elitism, but I haven not really prepared it. It has to come from some other source because my mind could not produce this. You can debate what source that is, but you know, I feel confident in where it is coming from.

In terms of sensations in my body I do not have much sensations in my body. I am not really that attuned with or attached to my body. Sometimes when I stand up, I can feel a little bit the strain of standing up for so long. Sometimes without realizing I am turning to one side and I suddenly found myself looking in a different direction. When I am sitting down, I can go within more because there is not that need to keep my body upright. I always feel that flow of energy through my body and even if I am physically tired, once I start going, it just energizes my body.

I always feel after dictation, I feel at a higher level of energy than before I started even if it is late at night and it is a long dictation. If I did not I would be concerned because the ascended masters do not need any energy for me. If the being dictating needed to take my energy, I would know that is not an ascended master. It just can not be. There are some trance channels that are worn out after channeling. I would never do that. There was a dictation in Ukraine with Saint Germain where it was coming as fast as my mouth could say the words. It just kept going that way for the whole time. That was very powerful, very fast.

Sometimes there is just that flow. Other times it is like they give more of a teaching dictation like they have done for this conference, where they give these concepts that can be very complex to get. Sometimes I almost lose the connection with the master. I have to pick it up again. Other times they pause in between like you can see Padmasambhava had long pauses Gautama Buddha often has that. I don’t not know why they do it that way. I guess it is just a different master or it depends on what they want to achieve. Saint Germain just wanted to cut through the energy and the mass consciousness with that very powerful dictation. Sometimes they want to give a teaching. They want to give people time to let it sink in.

Comment from audience: Even like when you’re standing there and you have your eyes closed, and  most of time I  think there’s something there is your body is  your hands in more than more than just gesturing.

(Kim) I think that is true. I also sometimes I noticed myself, you know, doing all these things. Most of the time, I am not conscious of it. All of my attention is focused on keeping that connection with the master and getting the next sentence. So I am not really aware of what I am doing. Sometimes I realize it. I do not know why it is. I do not know if there is any pattern in it. There probably is but I do not know what it is. Yeah. It could be that sometime in the future, somebody will watch the videos of these dictations and come up with a whole system. This means that and that meant that.

Question: Why do you sit in the Lotus position?

Kim: It’s not lotus position. It’s just cross legged. And the reason for this is that it’s actually more relaxing in the sense that it, it takes less awareness on the body when I’m sitting. When you’re standing up, you have to keep your balance, you know, and sometimes I almost feel like I’m losing my balance or leaning or having to take a step forward. But when I’m sitting, it’s like I can focus more within and not on the body.

Many times the masters want me to stand up. And I think it’s if you if you look at it, when I said it’s mostly Gautama that has that more Buddhic, peaceful consciousness, where Saint Germain is just so energetic, I don’t see how you could possibly sit to a Saint Germain dictation. And so I think that’s what it is, you know, the more energetic, powerful outgoing masters I stand for and then Gautama and Padma Sambhava, I sit.

Question:  For Kim that was not intelligible.

When I was in the Summit Lighthouse, I was listening to Elizabeth Clare prophet take dictations. I would often have a profound experience, or high experience. You know, I was like almost out of my body, sometimes. But that doesn’t happen when I’m taking a dictation because when I’m taking a dictation, I’m in a neutral state of mind. I don’t experience any contrast between the spiritual realm or the master’s vibration. I’m just focused on the words and the energy of the master. And I’m very, very neutral. So people come up to me and say: “Oh, that was a powerful dictation”. And I’m saying: “Was it?” Because to me, I was just neutral, I was completely neutral. So there isn’t that yo-yo effect or contrast.

Now, you could say on a much larger scale, how do I handle the contrast between for example, my daily life back in Denmark and coming to a conference like this? I guess what has happened to me is that I made an effort not to drink my own Kool Aid and not to think that I’m special because I’m doing this job. And therefore, there isn’t so much contrast.

And when I live in Denmark, I do a lot of physical activities. I meet people who are not spiritual, because I want to have that perspective. So I’m not enveloped in thinking I’m some high and mighty guru. So there’s less of a contrast.

I say when I take a dictation now I’m in a neutral state of mind. But in the last couple of years, I’m in a neutral state of mind most of the time. So there isn’t so much of a contrast  and it makes it a lot easier.  It’s almost like  it’s become almost effortless to switch between the different lifestyles.  Because I don’t have a such a distinction but what is spiritual and not spiritual because everything is spiritual. Not in the sense of this high and peak experience because as I was saying to somebody today, I don’t have peak experiences. I don’t have highs and I don’t have lows. I have very even keel all the time.

And I think actually that many people who if they could experience the Christ consciousness or the Buddha consciousness would be hugely disappointed because they aren’t the highs and the lows that they’re used to. And therefore there isn’t that contrast? For me, it’s there is it’s just an even keel. You could call it bliss as Gautama I called it, but it’s really just that neutral state of mind where it’s just there’s no high and low

Question: Do you feel the light coming in?

As I said when I’m taking a dictation I’m just neutral. So of course I feel there’s light there. It’s not that but there can be sometimes where I sense the dictation is more powerful than others. That can happen. But most of the time I I’m sort of more on that neutral and it’s, it’s not such a big contrast to switch out of it. Sometimes I’ve caught myself going out of dictation to quickly as soon as the master stops. I ask somebody a question about practical things. And I realized people need a little time after dictation which is why it’s good that there is  music being played, but it’s also a logistical thing you know.

Question: How do you know who the ascended master is that is speaking and how do you know when to stand or sit.

That I just sense, but often it’s just a matter of the master because most of the time the more Buddhic masters I sit down and then the more energetic masters I’m standing up. And so I pretty much know based on the master.

How do I know which master is going to dictate or answer a question? The only way I can really describe it is that over the years, I’ve come to know the vibration of each master. It’s not like I hear the word of who’s going to talk. It’s not like I see the master. It’s just that there is a vibrational signature of each master. And I just sense that when it’s happening.

Like when we’re taking questions and answers, sometimes it takes me maybe a couple of seconds to see who is going to answer this. And sometimes I almost feel like there’s several masters that could answer it, but then one is the one who answers it. With a dictation, there are sometimes where, until right before the dictation starts, I don’t know which master is going to dictate. Most of the time I know at least some time ahead of time.

Question: How did you train so when you were preparing to become a messenger What kind of changes did you have to make?

I had a couple of experiences in I think 2000 that I had on my birthday. I can’t remember what year birthday was but doesn’t matter. So it was my birthday. So I was standing in my office, I had the Summit Light House pictures: I AM Presence, Jesus and St. Germain. And all of a sudden it was like my consciousness just zoomed in on the masters. I was looking at their eyes in these pictures. I really hadn’t thought about it, but  I said: “I want more. I want a closer relationship to you. Now I’ve been following outer teachings for so long, I want a more direct relationship.” And that was sort of a turning point for me because it was the first time I really had dared to verbalize that, that I was willing to come into a closer relationship with the masters.

And so then, the following August, I was in my office again, and I think I had to decreed for a while. And it was like, I tuned into this that I had this frustration in me that I felt that there was something I wanted to do I had to do here on earth, but I hadn’t done it. I hadn’t accomplished anything really of what I wanted to do.

And what I saw was that this was actually a human ambition that I had, I wanted to do something important. Something that made a difference, something I felt was worthwhile. And I saw it was just a human ambition. And it was like I stepped outside of it. I didn’t know anything about the separate selves back then. But I stepped outside of it.

And all of a sudden, I felt this peace come upon me. And I fell to my knees in my office and I just spontaneously said, it was like I felt I gave that up that whole ball of human ambition. And I said spontaneously, I said: “God, you can take me home right now”. And I really was at that state of peace, where if I had died at that point, I could have left the earth and not felt any regrets, not felt there was some unfinished business I had to do.

And for me, that was an important step in the sense that it shows to myself that it wasn’t a human ambition that got me started working with the masters. It wasn’t something I wanted with the outer mind for whatever reason, because I gave up that whole human ambition. And I said: “If I don’t do anything worthwhile for the rest of this lifetime, it’s fine”. And so right after I had had that surrender, I felt the presence of Jesus, I identified it immediately as Jesus. And he basically gave me the words: “If there’s nothing you personally want to do on this planet, are you willing to do something for me?” And I just from the bottom my heart, I said: “Yes”. I didn’t know what it was.

And so then I got the ideas that he wanted me to do this website where people can ask him questions. And then he was training me for a period of several months where I would do a decree from the Summit Lighthouse  to the Great Divine Director and I had this novena where you would give this decree nine times, and then you would sit with a notebook and you would write down what came to you. So I did that. And then I started getting directions from Jesus every time I decreed: what I should do, what I needed to change, or how I need to change my health. At some point, I had it on the website, but I don’t think they are on there now. And it’s not so important because this was personal to me. So it isn’t really relevant to other people.

And then after that I started preparing for the website. I actually bought this software, voice recognition software, where you speak into a microphone and then it translated it into text. Before I actually started doing the website, I got the direction that he wanted to dictate a book and that became “The Christ is Born in You” so when I then did the website, I put some of the chapters and some of the questions and answers from that book on the website to begin with and that was the first material. But then fairly quickly some people discovered the website, some people from the Summit Lighthouse actually, and they started asking questions and more and more materials started coming on there.

In the beginning, I just thought, well, that’s just it. I mean, I’m going to answer these questions people have asked THE REAL JESUS. It took, I think, was it 2000? It was not so long after I had started where I was actually in Montana, in that valley where the Summit Lighthouse was, and there was some people there that came, I think about 20 people, and I took my first live dictation from Jesus in front of those people. That was the first live dictation and then gradually I started taking some at home and then I think in 2004 we had the first conference because there were some people that said “well couldn’t we organize a conference?”

I was in New York and there were about 25 people there and then I took 5, 6 dictations during that conference, and in the beginning they were much shorter, like 15, 20 minutes. Then we started doing more conferences and I would sometimes get dictation set home as well, and put them on the website. So it gradually grew from there, so I don’t know, in terms of training I guess you could say the whole experience was training (audience member “I think you answered my question”). Okay because there wasn’t like there was this formal program that I enrolled in, you know, and then one day I got the diploma.

But there were a lot of tests and trials that I don’t even remember, you know, and there was a shift in attitude, because see when I was in the Summit, I accepted Elizabeth Clare Prophet as a messenger and didn’t have any problem with the way she was a messenger and I never even considered that I could be a messenger if I’d want it to, it was not even in my mind at all. So in the beginning I thought it would just be answering the questions but then I realized the masters wanted to speak through me and I realized I could actually do this.  Then it just grew from there.  But there has been, you know, a number of step-ups.

I remember the first time was probably back in 2004, 2005 when I started giving teachings on the duality consciousness and the epic mindset. Jesus also gave these ego discourses where he talked about it and black and white thinking, but the masters also started talking more about it (duality consciousness and epic mindset), and I realized that was a big step up from the Summit teachings because this had never really been talked about in the Summit.

I also realized that there would be some people that at that point was following the teachings that couldn’t deal with it, there would be too much for them, and that turned out to be the case when I divorced my second wife. A lot of those people, or not a lot of them but some of them, followed her and I don’t think they were really willing to look at this epic mindset in themselves.

Then a really, really big step up was the “My Lives” book, because again, I knew this was so different from what had been given before and it was so provocative and controversial that some people wouldn’t be able to handle it. So an important part of the test has been that, I was always focused on the masters and being neutral and getting what the masters, bringing out what the masters wanted to bring out and not reacting to the people, whether they could handle it or not, whether they rejected it or not. I’ve focused on the masters and bringing out the message and that has carried me through these outer turbulences of, you know, people’s reactions. It’s always been for me that it was the masters. That was the important thing.

Now today, I would have more resolution about free will where I say, “well, you know, that’s the experience they want to have. Why should I try to change that?” So I don’t know if we’ve gone too far with this or if you have anything else.

Question about sugar

Question: What can “Beyond Burger” and sugar free products do to our spiritual bodies when we consume them?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well, we have talked before about vegetarianism, so I will not go into that here. Sugar free products, well, they definitely can have a positive impact on your health and also on your state of mind, because as we have said before, sugar is one of those stimulants that takes you to a high and then after that follows a certain low. This can have profound impacts on your emotional body and create sort of a yo-yo effect. It can also have impacts on the mental body where it becomes more difficult to concentrate.

In general, we do recommend that you consume as little sugar as is practically realizable. In a previous dispensation, Maitreya gave a much more stern and strict teaching about sugar. But in this dispensation, we encourage you to be more balanced, more practical, and therefore, you do not need to be fanatical about it. But there are many, many people who could benefit greatly from cutting their sugar consumption significantly. This is something even many health experts are beginning to become aware of. Sugar, especially refined white sugar, does not really have any nutrients. It just has the effect of raising the metabolism and giving you a certain energy, but it does not really carry any vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. It is “empty calories” as they say, and therefore not the healthiest way to give your body the nutrition it needs.

The concept of the etheric and the identity body

Question:  Is the etheric body the same as the identity body, or is there a subtle difference in these concepts?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well, in most cases, we use the terms interchangeably. It is simply that in previous dispensations, we talked about the etheric body and now we are talking about the identity body. The reason we are doing that now is that we want to make it clear that the main function of this body is that it stores your sense of identity. That sense of identity is at a higher level than the mental body, and therefore it sets certain parameters for what you think in the mental body. When you are seeking to purify your four lower bodies, there are certain things you cannot change at the level of the emotional body and the mental body, you need to go to the identity body and change it there.

Now, you could of course, make a subtlety and say that we have previously said there are 33 levels in the etheric realm. Therefore, you could say that the higher levels could be called the etheric, and the lower, the identity. But that is a subtle distinction that is not necessarily that useful given the context and the teachings you have now.

You could also make a distinction where you say that on an individual level, it is most constructive to talk about the identity body, and then on a planetary level, you could talk more about the etheric body. But of course, you also have a collective identity body that stores the identity of people. But there are levels of the highest of the four bodies that are beyond that level of both the individual and the collective identity. So those you could call the etheric levels.

The Prime Minister of Canada – Justin Trudeau

Question: The current Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, was just re-elected in a close election. The masters have commented in the past that his father, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, was a high level fallen one. There are even certain conspiracy theories that Justin Trudeau is the illegitimate son of Fidel Castro. Is he?  Trudeau’s signature accomplishment during his last term was the legalization of marijuana in Canada. He also interfered in a criminal investigation of a large company located in his home province, and then fired the Attorney General for opposing him on this. Is Justin Trudeau a member of the false hierarchy? What is the masters’ opinion of Justin Trudeau? What lessons does Canada need to learn, or karma to balance, that requires us to have Justin Trudeau as a leader? 

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well, on the first issue or question about Castro, the answer is no.

In terms of whether he is a part of the false hierarchy. Well, people in embodiment are not really part of the false hierarchy, they can be tools for the false hierarchy. But really, what is the importance of the question you need to ask yourself, because whether you agree with a politician or not, you are always free to call forth the judgment of Christ. When you do this from a neutral state of mind, where you do not make karma, then it will bring forth that judgment of Christ. The judgment of Christ does not judge what is unreal. There is no risk involved with calling forth the judgment of Christ.

It is clear that Canada has some challenges that it is facing, and that really, corruption is one of those challenges. Not necessarily at the money level, but at the terms of doing political favors. Canada really faces a situation where the Canadian people are so reluctant to stand up for themselves and their rights that they have attracted certain politicians that clearly were corrupt, or that were open to influences from certain dark forces.

This is something that requires some healing in the national psyche because it goes to the unwillingness to make decisions, which is based on a pattern that goes very far back in history for many of the people who were attracted to immigrate to Canada, and who have embodied there since. It is really a fear of abusing power on a personal level, but also the fear of following, a not necessarily false leader, but a dictatorial, abusive leader.

You see a different dynamic in America where Americans are generally more outspoken, more willing to take a stand for themselves, more sure about their opinions. I am not saying that one is better than the other. I am simply pointing out the different dynamic. The Canadian people are more reluctant. It is partly because they have in the past, some of them have abused power, some of them have been pulled into abusing power by supporting an abusive leader. They are very afraid repeating that pattern and therefore they have swung to the other extreme of becoming unwilling to make decisions.

Basically, if you look at the collective psyche of Canada today, there is like a field or cloud of energy that is enveloping most of the Canadian people. It has a paralyzing effect where they are standing there and there is a tension there. It is almost like you can see that they are standing on a high wire, and the high wire is beginning to shake. You have seen this possibly on these high wire artists that when the wire begins to shake and their legs begin to shake, they begin to wobble back and forth. They cannot even walk forward and they cannot even walk backwards. That is the situation in the Canadian collective psyche right now.

This is something that you can make calls on. You could even yourselves make an invocation. You could take Astrea’s invocation for various countries and make a specific version for Canada, and make the calls on this, or other issues that you see in Canada yourself. But certainly this issue of the unwillingness to make decisions and the fear of abusing power. You also need to make calls that the Canadian people will decide what kind of leaders they want, and what kind of country they want to live in. They will also decide to abandon their current mistrust of their leaders because once you have been under an abusive leader, then you come out of that in succeeding embodiments with this distrust of leaders.

Many American people have the same thing. This is something you can definitely make calls on and make up your own invocation and distribute that among the Canadian people who are willing to give it. You can even come together in groups, even on the internet, and give this invocation together. It will have a positive effect on the Canadian nation.

How to connect directly to the masters

Question: What is a suggested approach for seeing beyond the messenger and connecting directly to the masters?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Do not look at the messenger. [Audience Laughter]

But seriously, as I just said, there has been a tendency in previous ascended master organizations to focus too much on the messenger. I know there is a popular saying out there that the “messenger is the message”, or whatever the saying is my beloved, but the reality here is that, as one person expressed the other day, there can come a point where you no longer need the messenger.

That is, in a sense, the ideal state we want for all of you, and what the messenger wants for all of you, because he does not have that personal ambition of wanting to have followers, or wanting to create an organization, and all of this. You do not really look beyond the messenger. You just focus on the message, you focus on the dictations, you listen to the dictations, you give the invocations, and you focus directly on a personal relationship with us.

Now, there are people in the world who have a personal relationship to the ascended masters and they have never listened to a messenger and they do not need to do so. But since you are here, you do not need to analyze this, or evaluate yourself. You just say: “I obviously needed this in order to discover the ascended masters.”

So what do you need a messenger for? You need a messenger to take dictations and write invocations. You might need to talk to the messenger to get some kind of perspective or guidance, but you primarily need the messenger to take the dictations and write the invocations. That is all you need the messenger for. There has never been in this dispensation said or hinted, that you need the messenger in order to connect to the ascended masters.

You are, and you need to be very conscientious about this, you are free to work on a personal relationship with us that does not involve the messenger at all. If you need the messenger’s help in developing that relationship that is fine, but do not ever allow yourself to think that you can only reach the ascended masters through the messenger or the Catholic church or any other human being or institution.

The ideal state that we want for all of you is that you use the teaching and you use the tools to develop that personal relationship with us. It does not mean that you suddenly need to start taking messages. That may not be your divine plan, and for most of you it is not. But it means that you get personal directions from us directly without going through the messenger.

First of all, as you can see, for example, from the Summit Lighthouse, there were many people who thought they needed to get personal guidance through the messenger from the masters, and it put them in a co-dependent relationship with the messenger. It was unhealthy, unnecessary, and it did not help these people grow whatsoever.

There came a point where the organization was so big that there was no way the messenger had time to give people personal guidance. How could the organization go beyond that stage unless people develop their own personal relationships, which many people did. The messenger should be a help for you to develop a personal relationship, and should never be allowed to become a hindrance.

Well, I would have to say no, I do not have any particular plans, but the reason for this is mainly the time commitment. There was a time when I was young and naive and I’m not young anymore. I thought I could do everything, including create audio books, but in order to create an audio book, you know, you take the “My Lives” book, it would take several hours just to read it, but then you can’t avoid making some mistakes. That means you have to go back and edit the sound files, and that takes longer than just recording it. So you can at least take the time it takes to record it and multiply it by one and a half, or two, and then you have the total time it is going to take to do that book.

With all the new books coming out, I just do not have the time. It is a little bit the same with the invocations from the three latest books in the black and white series. I have not recorded those, but I would like to do that, and that is a higher priority than an audio book.

[Comment from Audience: Maybe you should stay here 2 million more years]

Yeah, if I have that kind of a timeframe, then I’ll definitely get it done! Then I have plans! But it is just a matter of time. It is not just a matter of time, actually, because it is also matter of my attention. In the latest few years, I have become more aware that I actually function best when I focus on one project at a time and do not spread myself out too thin. It is difficult for me to have four different projects I’m working on at the same time, doing a little bit here on that, and a little bit here on that.

That is why I, you know, as I think I said yesterday, I have no idea what the masters are going to do after New Year and whether they are going to do an eighth ray book or whatever, because I just cannot deal with that many things. I take one thing at a time.

Now, let me just say this. If there was somebody who wanted to make the audio book, wanted to record it and wanted to edit it, then that is perfectly fine, I have no problem with that. But again, you have to realize it is a big time commitment. That is why I do not want to ask anybody to do that because it is such a big time commitment. I mean, doing an audio book like that is 30 or 40 hours at least, maybe even more. Probably more.

The differences between previous and present ascended master teachings

Question: Can you address the differences and seeming discrepancies between previous Ascended Master teachings, specifically in the I AM dispensation, and the dictations given now? 

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well this could be a very, very long discourse but I will give you a shorter version.  The main difference is simply the raising of the collective consciousness. The other main difference is to shift from the Piscean to the Aquarian Age. Naturally, if you go back to the I AM movement, it became quite a big movement, attracted a large number of people who gave violet flame decrees. This had a very important influence on raising the collective consciousness. As the collective consciousness was raised, we could bring forth a more nuanced and in a way a deeper teaching than we could bring forth in the I AM movement. Now there are still some very, very timeless very valid teachings about the I AM Presence given in the I AM Discourses book. But nevertheless, it needs to be recognized that the I AM movement was very much an expression of the times and of the consciousness as it was at the time.

If you look, for example, at the book Unveiled Mysteries, you could argue that this is basically a spy novel with ascended masters as participants. And that was because at the time, this was what a lot of people could respond to. You can see if you compare Unveiled Mysteries to the My Lives book, that there is a very different narrative, a very different story being told, that is much more psychological and goes deeper. That could not have been released in the 1930s. But the reason it could be released now is, in part, because of all the work that was done by students of the I AM movement. And of course, the later movement of the Summit Llighthouse, Bridge of Freedom, the Roerichs and others. As the consciousness is raised by one movement, we can bring for something that is beyond.

Now, theoretically, we could continue progressive revelation in one specific movement. But the difficulty we have had so far is that the people of these movements have become very attached to not only the teachings but the form of the teachings, the way it was given and also very attached to the sense that their movement had some epic importance. It was the highest spiritual teaching on the planet, or it was very important in shifting consciousness. This meant that people were not flexible enough in their minds to accept the higher teaching that could be given because of the work they had done. And that’s why we started the new movement.

There’s also been a clear tendency of becoming too attached to the messenger, or messengers, and therefore not being open to another messenger. But on the other hand, it isn’t necessary that progressive revelation continues in one organization and sometimes it can actually be beneficial that there is a, sort of, clear ending to a particular dispensation  so that people know what this organization stands for, they can find that teaching, they can make use of it. And then when they are ready for it, they can step up to another teaching.

In terms of discrepancies, well, one example of a discrepancy is the chart of the I AM movement, which doesn’t have a Christ Self. Whereas the chart of the Summit Lighthouse has the Christ Self as an intermediary between the I AM Presence and you. In this organization, we no longer have a chart. That’s because we do not want people’s attention to go so much out to these outer images. That’s why we don’t encourage the use of pictures in this organization, because no picture can really represent an ascended master. And if you focus your attention too much on a picture, well, you might become attached to that and you might not see beyond it and connect to our presence.

Naturally, you can also look at differences in the focus on the decrees and the decrees that were given. You can see that in this dispensation we have less focus on decrees and more focus on the invocations that jolt something in the psychology of the person giving it, or in the collective consciousness, instead of just invoking the energy. The reason why we can do that in this dispensation is in large part because the previous dispensations gave so many decrees, invoked so much violet flame, invoked so much light, that we can now step up to this next level of focusing more on resolving the beliefs that keep people trapped, not just invoking energy.

Making calls on pedophilia, satanism, ritualistic abuse and mind control in elite circles

Question: I am hearing from various alternative news sources that there is a lot of pedophilia and satanism, ritualistic abuse and mind control in elite circles such as Hollywood, the media, government, etc. Is this a priority to make calls on?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well certainly you can make calls on it if you feel moved to it on an individual basis. It’s clear that although sensationalist media might exaggerate it a little bit, it’s still clear that there is such abuse going on. And the reason for it is quite simple. It is to steal energy from the innocent. There is no other explanation for it. It’s not only the people who are committing the physical actions that are stealing energy, but of course the demons, the entities and the fallen beings that are manipulating them into taking these actions that are stealing people’s energy.

As we have said before, basically any form of abuse, any kind of atrocity, killing, pedophilia, whatever, has the purpose of allowing the dark forces to steal people’s energy by forcing it out of their chakras because they are exposed to such abuse that it creates a strong reaction in them, a fight and flight response, and this then releases the light through the chakras. It is, of course, appropriate if you feel it individually, because there are many other things to make calls on. But if you feel a strong urge to do this, you should, of course, make calls for the judgment of Christ upon this. You can use the Astrea calls to cut people free and call to Archangel Michael for the binding of these forces.

Helping others

Question: How can we recognize the line between offering help, showing a different way or being a light for someone versus interfering with their free will by trying to help too much to alleviate the suffering they chose.  

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well, the primary way would be to ask yourself whether you are neutral about that person. Can you be in a neutral state of mind? And if you cannot be in a neutral state of mind it’s because you have a separate self. And as we have said, the pattern is: you desire to have a certain state of mind, but the separate self believes that in order to achieve that state of mind you have to do something outside, you have to change something in the world or change other people.

Many, many people, for example, who are engaged in Christian charity, are attempting to change other people in order to get a certain state of mind where they can feel that they are surely good Christians and therefore they will be saved. What we have given you is the tools where we say that kind of feeling comes from a separate self. And the way to get over that feeling is not to change something outside yourself, but to let the self die.

Basically, you can say that, when you don’t have a separate self that is involved with a situation, you are spontaneously setting the other person free to respond or not respond as they want. And if the people do not respond, you just move on. You just simply say, “Well, I cannot help that person. So let me not focus my time and attention on it, but move on to find someone that I can help.” But, there can come other stages of this where you actually come to the realization that you cannot really help anyone in the sense that you are doing something for them or you are changing them. You can offer them something, you can show them an example, you can share with them your own insights and experiences, but beyond that, you set them completely free. And this means that you come to a state of Buddhic non-attachment where you disassociate an action from the results. In other words, you are taking an action that has the potential to help other people. But once you have taken the action, you set it free.

So whether it actually helps other people, whether it actually changes anything or achieves any result, you are still at peace about it, because you know you have taken the action, you have done the best you could. And you are therefore setting the action free to produce a result or not produce a result. This is the way to act without making karma of any kind. It is the way that Kuan Yin has sometimes described as the “nothing done no thing undone” state of mind.

Tolerance for homosexuals

Question: Many Western societies are slowly modifying their laws to limit discrimination against homosexuals or transgender, LGBTQ, etc. For example, business owners cannot deny products or services to homosexuals and employers cannot exclude a person from being hired on these grounds, at least in Canada. By contrast, for many jobs, especially those that involve children or a religious aspect of life, many people still want the ability to shield themselves or their children from homosexual influences. Do the masters have a position concerning such laws prohibiting discrimination against homosexuals? What is the ascended masters’ teachings on the gay rights movement? And are there any positive elements to it?

Well, if you look at world history, you will see that there has been a long line of discrimination against various groups of people. And it’s clear from an overall perspective that we need to move the world towards a point where there is no discrimination against anyone.  In many cases, it can be necessary to enact laws to prevent this discrimination.  You will see that, in Nazi Germany, there was a certain discrimination against Jews just because they were Jews. There are still people in the world who agree with this today, but most people in the modern democracies, of course, do not agree to discrimination against Jews.

Well there will come a time where also nobody agrees with discrimination because of sexuality. It’s just simply that as you move further and further away from the old consciousness, the duality consciousness, move into the Christ consciousness, you overcome, you transcend discrimination. The Christ Consciousness does not discriminate against anyone. It may have certain discernments and observations but it doesn’t discriminate. And discrimination is based on opinion, to tie into Padmasambhava’s dictation.

It’s clear that the gay rights movement was a necessary step just as the feminist movement has been. The reality is that women would not have gotten the rights they have today if the feminist movement hadn’t been there. And the feminist movement you can look at, perhaps was in some ways, too militaristic. But that was because of what they were fighting against.

The same with the gay rights movement. It has not been balanced in all ways. It will not stay in the condition or the state it is in right now. It will evolve over time. But ideally it should come to the point where there is no need for gay rights movement because this is not an issue.

The reality here is that there is so much discrimination from the Christian religion, not only towards homosexuals but towards anybody who is different. And this is not the Christ mind. It is not in alignment with the Christ mind. And therefore it needs to be transcended and in a modern democracy where you have a separation between church and state, it is necessary for the state to enact laws to counteract the discrimination that comes from a particular religion, whether it’s the Christian religion or any other. Certainly, if the Middle East nations ever can become modern democracies, they will need to counteract the discrimination coming from Islam towards many different groups of people.

And this means that you need to overcome this point where some people say they want to protect their children against homosexuals, but what are they actually afraid of? Are they afraid of some kind of contamination from homosexuals, that it’s contagious? That is exactly what people thought about Jews in the 1930s in Germany.

I mean, let’s be realistic here and see how much discrimination there has been. You may not agree with somebody. That’s fine. You have a right to disagree, but discriminating against them based on these dualistic opinions and value judgments is just not the Christ mind.

And it’s not really what democracy is about, because democracy is based on tolerance of differences. Of course, that needs to be within reason if people start abusing others. Obviously you cannot create a democracy that has tolerance for pedophiles. But nevertheless, you need to still move towards a point where you are not discriminating based on relative value judgments. That’s the process that the modern democracies have been in now for decades. And as it continues, many of the prejudices that people have today will fade away and be seen as being completely outdated and unreal.

Spiritual perspective on sleep paralysis

Question: What causes sleep paralysis?

In many cases, in fact, in most cases, it’s the influence of dark forces. It can be entities, it can be demons. It can, in some cases, be discarnates, such as family members that have departed that you are attached to. The immediate way to deal with this is to give calls for spiritual protection, give calls to Astrea to cut you free from these dark forces.

In the longer run it will, of course, be helpful to find out why you are vulnerable to these forces because not everybody is and this relates to some kind of separate self. In the case of a family member, it can be an attachment to that person, and you then need to let go of it. It’s more complex to figure out if it’s an entity or some more aggressive demon, but again, you can (by working with it gradually) uncover this and set yourself free from it.

Now, there can be other reasons for this in the sense that there are people who are, basically you could say to make it simple, they are having an out-of- body experience while they are asleep. In other words, their consciousness leaves the physical body and then what can happen is that people almost wake up while this is happening.  All of a sudden, your body is beginning to wake up but your consciousness hasn’t come back into the body and therefore you experience that you cannot move the body as you normally do. This can be a cause of it. It’s not the most common cause, but it can certainly happen that way.

And what you can do about it is, well again, make the calls for protection but what you can do is to try if you can completely relax in the situation. Instead of panicking, instead of going into tension of wanting to move the body, you can ask yourself, “What’s really dangerous here? My body is lying in bed, there is no outside danger. Why do I need to panic? I can just relax.” And then you will gradually come back into the body.

Involvement of young people in the climate change issue

Question: Many people, especially young people are passionately, even fanatically against fossil fuels and activities that produce carbon emissions. They would say that they are fighting to save the earth from global warming. One theory that I have is that people have a soul memory that humans can cause global cataclysms. The fallen ones then play on this memory and provide false reason that the cataclysm is caused by pollution and not the fallen consciousness and karma for misuse of light. Do you agree with this assessment? Could you please discuss whether there is truth to the manmade global warming theory? If it is a lie who is behind this lie and why? And finally, why do so many people and especially young people so deeply fall for this lie?

We have commented on global warming before and said that it is a theory created by the fallen beings, especially to manipulate people. There is, however, a certain warming effect on a planet but it’s caused by the fact that the collective consciousness is lagging behind where it should be. And this is causing a certain friction that causes the planet to heat up. But it is not created by fossil fuels. But it is a manmade issue. However, it can only be solved by the raising of consciousness, not by reducing fossil fuel emissions. Even if you reduced fossil fuel emissions, or Co2 emissions tomorrow, you would still see that the planet would continue to warm, not as much, but it still would continue to warm.

So your theory is correct that the fallen beings have created many of these ideas, because they tie into the fact that some people do know that human beings can cause many cataclysmic events on earth and can cause disruption of weather patterns and earthquakes and so forth, as I have spoken off in many of the early teachings given in this dispensation and also in previous dispensations.

Why do so many young people fall for this? Well,  the real issue here is that as we have talked about before, there is a growing number of people who are ready to move into what Abraham Maslow called the self-actualization needs, where you are beginning to actualize yourself, but because they grew up in an anti-spiritual society where neither Christianity nor materialism gives them any guidance on what it means to actualize yourself and how to go about this, they are dissatisfied, they are dissatisfied with life, they feel that something is missing something is wrong.

They also feel that they are here to make a positive impact. So they are looking for some kind of cause and that’s why many of them are misled into various causes, not just the climate issue, but many other things where they pour their good intentions and their youthful exuberance into a cause because they think that this will do something for the planet, which they know they are here to do.

But what they are really here to do is to raise their consciousness. And that is precisely what they haven’t been taught how to do during their upbringing.But they can feel they are doing something  by pursuing one of these causes and of course, many of them are still even though they are ready to pursue self-actualization, they haven’t freed themselves from the black and white thinking. So they think that there must be a simple way to define what’s wrong on the planet, because they sense something is wrong and therefore there must be a simple solution.

Question about needing glasses

Question: What is the spiritual cause behind needing glasses or contacts to augment one’s vision? Is there a way to fix this spiritually instead of physically using lasik eye surgery as doctors currently prescribe?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019

Well, reaching back to my previous answer. It needs to be balanced by the fact that there are certain conditions in the physical that are there because of the density of the physical realm, the current level of the collective consciousness. And so I do not want people to think that: Oh, I should be able to change my mind and fix this condition. And if I can’t, it shows that I’m not at a high enough level of consciousness.

You see that the ego can take anything we say and turn it into a way to put yourself down and make yourself feel inadequate. If you have a certain condition, whatever disease it is, whether it’s the eyes or something else, if you have appendicitis, you obviously need to have your appendix removed, instead of thinking that you can go into some kind of meditation and fix this problem. You make use of whatever technological means are there. We are not in any way encouraging people to go into faith healing or go into denying the reality of an illness and thereby pushing it into the higher realms.

We are saying: Be practical, be prudent, make use of the technological advances that are available in your time. And then also seek to work on your psychology. If you have a problem of needing glasses, it’s not really a life-threatening condition. So, get the glasses, get the surgery, whatever you prefer, and then continue to work on your deeper psychological issues. It may be that that will, over time resolve the issue so you don’t need the glasses but the primary thing is your spiritual growth. Generally, you can look at this and go back to Jesus’ statement: “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s and unto God that which is God’s”.

In other words, as a spiritual person, as an ascended master student, you realize that the primary aspect of your life is your spiritual growth, which really means we’re solving the deep psychology.  This is your primary goal.

But you don’t ignore the practical aspects of life. You find a way to say: Well, I need to have a place to live, I need to have a certain income. That means I need to get a job, start a business, do whatever. And I need to take care of my physical body. And I also need to do things that are enjoyable in life. So, we are not preaching the Via Dolorosa where you think you are a spiritual person and you can’t enjoy any aspect of physical life.

And that’s why we encourage you to find a certain balance there where you take care of the physical, practical needs and activities instead of thinking that you should solve everything through the spiritual aspect of life. It’s not realistic, for example, as many people do, to create a treasure map or to try to go into visualization in order to manifest the supply that you need to in order to survive.

You also need to be practical and say: Well, I need to send out some job applications or I need to start a business or whatever. And this may take some time that takes your attention away from spiritual activities, but in the long run, it can free up your attention to focus on spiritual activities once you have a job—once you have a business established.

You have to find that balance there, where you don’t think that all problems need to be solved by spiritual means, because there are some problems that are easily solved by practical means. And so you take those practical steps. And instead of thinking you should solve a problem with spiritual means where you refuse to get glasses and you go around for 10 years not being able to see—well then get the glasses, then focus on your spiritual growth so you can actually read the books and then maybe there will be a solution to the problem but if there isn’t, it’s not taking away from your spiritual growth.

In other words, look at all of these practical issues and say: “Well, what’s the simplest way to deal with them, so they don’t take my attention and time away from my spiritual growth? And then do that. Instead of going the other way around thinking you have to spend hours a day decreeing, which is much more time consuming than buying a pair of glasses.

Your I AM Presence defines the limit how far you can go into duality

Question: It sometimes feels like “the second death” is God saying: It’s my way or the highway. You will rise up or be destroyed”. Part of me resents this. Can the masters offer a different way of looking at this? 

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019

Well, God doesn’t really build highways. And he doesn’t have a “my way” either, because then he would not have given you free-will. So, really, if you understand, and I fully acknowledge this is the most difficult topic to understand on earth, but if you understand free-will, you realize that God doesn’t do anything to you. This is the quintessential lie of the fallen beings that God is doing something to you. But God gave you free will. And if you define that as doing something to you, then that was what God did to you. But after that God hasn’t done anything to you. You have done it all to yourself. The problem with free-will, if you can call it that—the challenge faced by God is really how far can it be taken?  And this isn’t really God as much defining this as you yourself defining it.

We have in previous dispensations given a different view than we are giving today. It was the more traditional view where you go back to the remote God in the sky who was interfering with human affairs, who was sending angels to tell you this or to interfere with various situations. But what we are trying to help you step up to here is that it’s really you who are defining for yourself, how far you are willing to go.

If you want to transfer this, you can say that when God defined or gave free-will, God said: There has to be an extreme boundary, where you say that a life-stream has experimented with his free-will, and has taken it so far into the realms of duality and separation, that it simply is enough. In other words, there has to be an outer boundary for how far a being can take free-will into separation, because there comes a point where that life-stream has no chance of making it back. And so, God has said that you have free-will, but there is a limit.

There must be a limit, but God has not defined the limit. Your I AM Presence defines the limit when it first sends an extension of itself into an unascended sphere. The I AM Presence simply says: This is how far I will allow an extension of myself to go  before I want to pull it back.  You can say of course, when you are in duality, you do not see you I Am Presence as yourself. You see it as some external being up there in the sky who wants to restrict you. But it is really yourself who defined the boundary. And the I AM Presence is simply saying that if that extension of myself goes that far into duality, then it must be faced with a choice that either it turns around now and starts moving back or it will be pulled back—I will pull it back into myself, because I don’t want to continue to have that experience in duality and separation.

Question about misophonia

Question:  Misophonia is a neurological condition whereby the brain processes certain types of sounds incorrectly. This causes the sufferer to experience a fight or flight response and to become enraged by the sound or sounds in question. What causes this, and how can it be cured?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Washington, D.C. (USA) in 2019.

Well, the underlying cause is that you have a deep trauma from past lives that can be caused by many different things. For example, being in a war, where you are killed in a very brutal and painful way can trigger a trauma that is associated with sound. Where, for example, the sound of artillery fire, for many people releases this very intense fight or flight response. This is just one example, but there can be other traumas that you have encountered in past lives that had been associated with a certain sound.

Now, really, traumas can be associated with all of the five senses, there can be certain sights that trigger a flight and fight response, certain smells, certain forms of touch, and so forth. It is an individual thing of what was it in the traumatic situation that the person focused most on. In many cases, this is not a logical, rational thing.

There are people, for example, who have been lying on a battlefield, bleeding to death, and the last thing they focused on was a flower growing on the fields. And their entire attention in that situation was focused on this flower. And then the body died and the person moved on, but they carried with them this trauma and it can actually be released if they see that flower. And it can be anything really, where you have this intense trauma and your attention in your dying moment is drawn to a specific thing in the physical octave that you can then in coming lifetimes associate with trauma and it can trigger that kind of a fight and flight response.

The placebo effect

Question: Can ascended masters speak a little more about the placebo effect and how it filters through the four lower bodies.

The entire concept of the placebo effect is actually very unfortunate. And it’s something that’s created by the fallen beings.  It’s portrayed as being something of a side effect, that really is an anomaly that doesn’t have any impact or shouldn’t have any impact on the medical field. But the reality is that what they call the placebo effect, is actually the primary healing effect of the human, four lower bodies, the system of healing.

It can be seen very simply by the fact that many doctors and medical experts actually recognize that most of the diseases are psychosomatic or have a psychological component. And you need to then realize that it is simply cognitive dissonance that the medical profession is so focused on coming up with material ways to heal what is a psychosomatic disease.

How can you on the one hand acknowledge that most diseases are psychosomatic and then think that there’s only a material way to cure a psychosomatic disease—you can do this without dealing with the psyche? It’s cognitive dissonance and it will in coming decades be seen as one of the great detours of humankind and especially of healing. The placebo effect as they call it should be studied. And it should be recognized that the mind, the lower bodies, have the ability to heal themselves.

And that what actually happens when people take a pill  that has a physical effect, it actually is the other way around. It’s the physical healing method that is the placebo because it triggers the mind into thinking that I will be healed because I’ve taken this pill. So it really is the other way around. What heals is the belief that you will be healed. There are exceptions to this when you break your bones, they need to be set, at least at the current level of the collective consciousness.

There will come points in the golden age where any disease can be healed in other ways, either by psychic ways or by vibrational ways. But the fact of the matter is that everything revolves around free-will. And so, the question is: What tricks the mind of a person into believing that it can be healed and that it will be healed by undergoing a certain procedure?  So, if you define the placebo effect,  as a way to trick the mind into accepting that it’s healed then you must say that allopathic medicine is also a placebo. It just tricks the mind into thinking and accepting that it can be healed. And this then affects the physical body because the physical body is a projection of what’s going on in the three higher bodies.
