The true path to Christhood and the left-handed path

Question: I have found that some occult topics reinforce what you are saying about personal Christhood. I believe one of the basic teachings of Alistair Crowley were to find out what your true calling in life is and then channel your energy into fulfilling that inner mission. I find this to be in alignment with the path of personal Christhood. Yet Crowley is considered by most Christian groups as the founding father of satanism? Thoughts to ponder?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels:

The true goal of the spiritual path presented by the ascended masters is to help people attain Christ discernment. When you do put on the mind of Christ, you can easily discern between what is of the light and what is of the darkness. This then allows you to see through all superficial, man-made doctrines. You can also see the fundamental difference between the true inner teachings on personal Christhood and the left-handed path preached by Alistair Crowley and other satanists.

It is necessary for a sincere spiritual seeker to recognize that the devil has a clear purpose, namely to prevent the appearance of more Christed beings. He is trying to fool those who are my best servants on earth. He is not concerned about those who are completely enveloped in the dualistic mind, because they are already in his power. The devil’s main concern is to fool those who have already found some truth but have not yet manifested the Christ discernment that makes it possible for them to see through the subtle lies of the devil.

Contrary to what many people believe, the devil knows he can win two ways. His main goal is to prevent the appearance of a large number of Christed beings on this planet, because he knows from my example that he cannot control a Christed being.

One way to do this is to seek to use people’s fears to make them loyal to a traditional Christian church, which states that I am the only Son of God, and therefore no one else could possibly manifest Christhood. As long as the devil can scare people into accepting this lie, he has them where he wants them.

However, the devil knows that in this age many people are ready to break free of the fear-based approach to religion and begin to see the truth about personal Christhood. Therefore, the dark forces have created a number of false philosophies and false movements that are designed to lead such people astray. You must understand that once you begin to see the truth about personal Christhood, you can no longer be fooled by a philosophy that is based entirely on error. The devil knows this, and therefore he creates philosophies that contain a lot of truth but a little bit of error to lead people astray. This is precisely what has happened in the teachings given by Alistair Crowley and other followers of satanism. By the way, Crowley did not found satanism because it goes back thousands of years on this planet.

What the dark forces will do is to mimic the path of Christhood but then give it a little twist that ultimately takes you in the wrong direction. Let me explain this in more detail.

The essence of Christhood is that you can discern between what is of God and what is not of God. In other words, as you gradually put on your Christhood, you begin to see through the many philosophies in this world, some of which were deliberately engineered by the devil and some of which simply spring from the ignorance and fear of the human mind. In the end, a Christed being will accept no man-made doctrine or dogma as a replacement for the Living Truth of God. You will see this demonstrated in my life by the fact that I constantly challenged the doctrines of the scribes and the Pharisees and violated their outer laws, such as healing a man on the sabbath.

When you look at this from a certain perspective, you might say that I acted as if I was above the law, and I refused to follow any of the laws in this world. The difference here is that a Christed being is only above the laws of man and not above the laws of God.

What the satanists will do, as one of their many plots, is to create a philosophy which mimics the fact that a Christed being will not allow himself to be limited by any of the doctrines or laws of man. However, the satanists will not present this in the true light that the Christed being is not rebelling against the laws of man. He is simply being true to the laws of God, and if the laws of man are out of alignment with the laws of God, then the Christed being follows the latter. If the laws of man are in alignment with the laws of God, he follows those laws.

The satanists have created a philosophy which states that it is acceptable, even necessary, to rebel against any restriction of your freedom. In other words, in order to achieve true freedom, you can and must rebel against both the laws of man and the laws of God. This philosophy goes all the way back to Lucifer, who was the original rebel against God and the laws of God. Ever since then, those who followed Lucifer have attempted to create a philosophy, a world view, a religion which justifies the act of rebelling against God. It uses a number of subtle ploys to make it seem like this was not only necessary but actually beneficial and sanctioned by God. I talk about this in further detail in my discourse on absolute evil.

What you are running up against is the fact that there is a true path to Christhood, and it is this path I describe on this website and which we of the ascended masters have described through various organizations and spiritual teachings over the centuries. To counteract this true path and prevent people from walking that path, the adversaries have created a false path, the left-handed path, the way that seems right unto a man but which ultimately leads to the death of the lifestream. This false path has a number of similarities with the true path, or it would not fool anyone. In fact, the differences between the true path and the false path are so subtle that a number of people have been fooled and have been ensnared by the satanists and their subtle, serpentine logic.

Do you see my point that the devil can win in two ways? One is to fool you into following the left-handed path. The other is to make you so afraid of the devil that you don’t dare to open your mind to anything new. If you are so afraid of the occult that you don’t dare to look at anything beyond orthodox doctrine, then you have allowed the devil to control you through fear. If my disciples had taken the same fear-based approach as that taken by many modern Christians, how could Christianity ever have been born? The orthodox Jews would have killed it when they killed me!

Never limit Gods ability to work through you

Question: If people cannot remove evil, how should one act in the following situation: I am a witness, when a person or group of persons are beating hardly another person. I will defend this other man, but I see, that there are not equal forces in the situation, and my defense will be unsuccessful. How can I act more right?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels:

Begin by recognizing that you are never in a situation where you can do nothing. You are never in a situation where you don’t have options. There is always something you can do to change the balance of the situation and open the way for a better solution than what will happen if you do nothing.

In a situation like the one you describe, go through the following steps:

Do whatever is possible to bring in outside help. This could be calling for other people nearby or placing a call to the police or other appropriate authorities.
After calling for physical help, center in your heart and make a very intense call for spiritual help. For example, you might say, “In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the angels of Archangel Michael to instantly take command of this situation and bind all evil forces at work here. I accept it done this instant by the full power of the flame of God within me.” You can also make a call to the guardian angels and Christ selves of each person involved in the situation to enlighten them to the consequences of their actions and what represents a God-victorious outcome.
Center in your heart, tune in to your Christ self and ask for direction concerning the God-victorious response to the situation.
While centered, visualize the entire situation, including yourself, enveloped in the unconditional and infinite love of God. Feel yourself being the open door for this love to flood the situation.

You must recognize that there is no way you can do the right thing by analyzing the situation with your outer consciousness. There are simply too many variables for the outer mind to make a correct evaluation and decision. Therefore, you need an intuitive insight from your Christ self. That insight will be based on the perspective of your Christ self, which sees all aspects of the situation, most of which are hidden to the outer mind.

Obviously, there are so many different situations and so many different variables that I cannot give you a general recommendation for what physical action you should take. However, you might consider that what you need to do is to somehow disturb the status quo of the situation.

Once a negative situation has started, it will continue until something breaks the spell or the matrix of imperfect energy that envelops the situation. In some cases it might be enough to make your presence known, so that the perpetrators are aware that they are being watched. Or you might tell them that you have called the police. In some cases it might indeed be necessary and appropriate to step in with physical force to defend the person, and if you get an impulse to do so from your Christ self you should follow it. If you can remain centered in your Christ self, and especially if you can avoid falling into fear, your endeavor will be successful.

The important point here is that you bring yourself into a state of consciousness in which you fully realize that you of your own self, meaning your human ego and outer mind, truly can do nothing to change the situation for the better. However, God in you is able, and if you align your consciousness with God in you, meaning your Christ self, then all things will be possible.

When you can go into a situation with the firm conviction that your Father, meaning your I AM Presence, works hitherto and you work, then you will be surprised at how effective you can be at changing the spell of negative energy and thereby dispersing a negative situation almost as if by magic. The key to improving conditions on this planet is that people wake up to their true identity as spiritual beings and allow God to work through them. This must begin on an individual basis.

Keep in mind that the most important goal for a spiritual seeker is to never limit Gods ability to work through you. Therefore, do whatever it takes to get yourself in the state of consciousness that you saw me demonstrate and in which you can be the instrument of God working in all situations. This is your calling, this is your greatest love. Simply follow your love and allowing it to cast out all fear.

The Bread of life is the Christ consciousness

Question: Jesus and I have visited with each other during meditations, visions and dreams. Once, he walked toward me through a field of lilies with a white horse and Mother Mary. Then suddenly I was transformed into a seed of wheat that instantly grew into a sprout of wheat in the sunlight. As I became the grains of wheat at the tip of the stalk, the sunlight flooded and warmed me. It was a wonderful and transformative experience. Can you tell me: What is the significance of wheat? Is it the bread of life?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels:

Thank you for sharing this beautiful vision that was very real and profound. In this vision, the lilies represented lifestreams that are ready to blossom into a more spiritual state of consciousness. The prince on a white horse represents the Holy Christ self of each person. It is literally the Christ self that comes to sweep people away into the Paradise of the Christ consciousness.

In your case, when you obtain union with your Christ self, you can serve as the prince on the white horse for a group of lifestreams that are waiting for you to show them the way to attain Christ consciousness.

The wheat is a symbol of the fact that I have planted the seed of the Christ consciousness in your lifestream. When you allow it to grow, you too can become the Bread of Life so that you can share the Christ consciousness that you become with others.

Wheat is simply a symbol for the Bread of Life, but it is not the Bread of Life. The Bread of life is the Christ consciousness, or more specifically, the wisdom of the Christ consciousness.

10,000 people have Christhood on inner levels

Question: I have recently finished reading and studying your book Save Yourself and found it to be most enlightening and inspiring. Thank you so much for bringing forth these teachings.

Page 299 – In the second paragraph, you say that the golden age will not come until a critical mass of people manifest individual Christhood. Then you go on to say that there are currently 10,000 people who have manifested a high degree of personal Christhood on inner levels and, further on, that there are millions of people who have manifested a high degree of Christhood. I do not understand the difference between these two groups of people. Would you please clarify this?

Quote from the book:

The golden age will not come until a critical mass of people manifest individual Christhood. As I say in The Christ Is Born in You, there are currently 10,000 people on planet earth who have manifested a high degree of personal Christhood at inner levels. Unfortunately, the vast majority of these people do not consciously recognize their inner attainment, and therefore they do not dare to acknowledge and express it. There are also millions of people who have manifested a high degree of Christhood. These people could quickly make tremendous progress if they would consciously acknowledge their potential and be willing to engage in the path of expanding their Christhood.

Such people can be found in every walk of life. Many of them are found in traditional Christianity. Many of them are found in other religions. Many of them belong to no particular religion or subscribe to scientific materialism. And a substantial portion of them are found in the New Age movement.

I need these people to quickly come to a conscious realization of who they are and why they are here. I am constantly trying to reach out to all of these people. However, I do believe that the most receptive should be the people in the New Age movement who see themselves as very progressive and spiritual people.

The difference is simply a matter of degrees. There are 10,000 people who have attained a very high degree of Christhood, yet most of them are not consciously aware of their spiritual attainment. Therefore, they cannot express that attainment in this world. When one of these people awakens to his or her spiritual identity and attainment, that person can very quickly begin to express that Christhood.

This attainment was achieved in prior lifetimes, yet because people normally forget their past lives when they are born, it is possible that a person can have high spiritual attainment without realizing it. This is reinforced if the person grows up in an environment that does not encourage people to express their spiritual attainment. This can happen if a person grows up with parents who are not spiritual or parents who belong to an orthodox religion, which states that “ordinary” people cannot have spiritual attainment. One example of this is a mainstream Christian religion that has turned me into an idol that no one can emulate.

There are millions of people on this planet who have attained a high degree of Christhood, but they are still some distance away from attaining full Christhood. If these people are awakened to their spiritual identity and attainment, they have the potential to make tremendous progress for the remainder of this lifetime. Many of them will, in fact, be able to achieve full Christhood in this lifetime. However, doing so will take a determined effort on their part. In other words, these people still have to work at it to develop Christhood. It is not simply a matter of realizing that they have already attained it and then beginning to express it, as is the case for the 10,000.

Becoming a twin of Jesus

Question: I enjoyed reading The Christ Is Born in You very much and it has certainly inspired me to move upward on my path of Christ consciousness. Thank you for bringing forth this very critical teaching in an easy-to-understand style that I think most people will be able to grasp.

I have a question for you on becoming your twin as you explained on page 300 of your book. My understanding from the Teachings of the ascended masters is that I have only one twin flame that was created from the same ovoid of light from whence I came in the beginning. Would you please clarify exactly what the difference is between a twin flame and a twin?
So far, my understanding of this teaching is: when an individual attains Christ consciousness, he/she will become one with the universal Christ consciousness (which you and those of the ascended masters are already one with) and therefore would become one with you. Am I on the right track?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels:

I understand your confusion. I did not explain the concept of twin flames in the book because I believe it is a bit too advanced for the beginning student.

The concept of becoming my twin is different from the concept of your twin flame. When your lifestream was first created by your divine parents, you were created in a polarity with your twin flame. This was the union that is referred to in the words, “What God has put together, let no man separate.”

It was not God’s intention that twin flames should lose contact with each other. However, after people descended into the lower state of consciousness, most people were gradually separated from their twin flames. I talk more about twin flames in the answer to another question.

The concept of becoming my twin is different. While you can lose contact with your twin flame, you will always have a spiritual union with that twin flame. Becoming my twin is something you can grow into. It is more like an office or title that you can attain by successfully walking the path of discipleship under me.

Throughout the ages, we of the ascended masters have taught a gradual path that leads to a higher state of consciousness. This path is based on the idea that a person acts as a teacher, or Guru, and takes on a number of students, or chelas. The essence of this Guru-chela relationship goes far beyond the worldly concept of the relationship between teacher and student.

In the Guru-chela relationship, the true goal is that the student attains union with the teacher and therefore becomes a teacher in his or her own right. Therefore, the student goes through a gradual transformation of attaining greater and greater union with the teacher. In the beginning, the student follows the outer teachings. At some point the student discovers the hidden inner teachings, the student discovers the inner path that is not described openly but lies beyond the outer path and the outer teaching. This is clearly seen in the quote that I taught the masses in parables, but when we were alone I expounded all things to my disciples. My disciples had become my disciples precisely because they had gone beyond the outer teaching and entered a closer relationship with me.

Even after the student enters a closer relationship with the teacher, there are levels of attainment to which the student can aspire. I chose to describe these levels of attainment by setting up three different levels that were named disciple, brother/sister and twin.

This was simply a convenient way for me to explain this in a way that my students could understand 2,000 years ago. Obviously, it is not the only way to explain this, and it does have the drawback that it can be confused with family relationships.

The reality of this system is that the purpose of my mission was to demonstrate that all human beings are sons and daughters of God. So when a person first becomes my disciple, that person follows my inner teachings but clearly sees himself as being below me in spiritual attainment. As the student progresses on the path, he begins to identify himself more closely with me. He then realizes that he is my spiritual brother because he too is a son of God as I am a son of God. Several of my disciples did indeed attained this union and therefore deserved the title of brother or sister. I would refer to them as such which has caused some Christians to believe that they were my physical brothers or sisters. Although I did have physical brothers and sisters, I more often used these terms to refer to my spiritual brothers and sisters.

When a disciple has attained the level of brother or sister, he or she has two options. One is to develop and express his or her individual Christhood, which can be done independently of me. Two brothers might be very different and they might work independently of each other, yet they share a common heritage. In other words, you would respond to a given situation with your individuality and not necessarily as I would have responded to that situation.

The other option is that of attaining a greater union with me by becoming my twin. This is a closer relationship than that of brother or sister, and it is not meant for everyone. That is why you will see that only Thomas attained to this level. This does not necessarily mean that Thomas was my most advanced disciple. He simply chose a different path than the other disciples for whom it was more important to use their attainment as my brother to develop and express their individual Christhood. Yet for Thomas the right path was to lay down his individual Christhood and attain a greater degree of union with me. This did not mean that Thomas became a clone of me. He was still very much an individual and retained this individuality. However it did mean that he had a greater union with me, as a twin is often more close to his sibling than a brother. Therefore, after my resurrection Thomas was able to maintain a more direct contact with me than my other disciples, and he could act as my spokesperson towards the other disciples.

There is no general guideline for whether a person should strive for this level of discipleship. However, when you have attained a level of being my brother or sister in spirit, you will know from within what is your right path from there.

“So far, my understanding of this teaching is: when an individual attains Christ consciousness, he/she will become one with the universal Christ consciousness (which you and those of the ascended masters are already one with) and therefore would become one with you. Am I on the right track?”

You are correct. However, becoming one with me does not mean that you lose your individuality. You see, when you live in the material universe, you tend to think in linear terms. Therefore, your concept of oneness is somewhat different than the concept of oneness that we have in the spiritual realm.

So please do not think that becoming one with me means that you lose your unique individuality, because that individuality is a gift to you from God. It is not the purpose of the spiritual path to lose it, but to regain it and then express it in the material world.

When you become one with your Christ self, you see that you are one with God, that you are an individualization of God. You also realize that all other beings are individualizations of God, and therefore you develop a new sense of oneness that is not linear but spherical. After you transcend the linear way of thinking and adopt this spherical consciousness, there is no conflict between being one with me and one with God, and at the same time being the unique individual you are.

Follow-up question: Does this mean that, by becoming your twin, a person would transcend the need to attain their individual Christ consciousness because they are already the Christ in you and, therefore, have become one with the universal Christ consciousness?

You cannot transcend the need to manifest your individual Christhood. Your personal Christ self is a unique gift to you from God, and it is both your opportunity and your responsibility to manifest Christhood. While you can receive great help from a teacher, in the end you must take the final steps on your own. This was demonstrated by the process where I was hanging on the cross and felt that God had forsaken me. This is simply an initiation whereby you must prove that you have internalized so much of your Christhood that you can walk the final steps on the path without any assistance from an outside source.

When you manifest individual Christhood, you do not become one with the universal Christ consciousness. You become one with your Christ self which is an individualization of the universal Christ consciousness that is given to you as a unique gift from God. As I explained in the book, I identified with the universal Christ consciousness, and that is why I said, “I am the Way the Truth and the Life.” Everybody who attains Christ consciousness identifies with the universal Christ consciousness. Nevertheless, in this world you are still expressing your individual Christ consciousness and I was no exception to this.

One way to explain this process is to refer to what I said about the Guru-chela relationship. An outer guru is not meant to be a replacement for the inner guru of your Christ self. A false guru will attempt to become such a replacement and make you co-dependent on the outer guru. A true guru will seek to help you, in various ways, overcome your dependence upon the outer guru. So one might say that the process of studying under a guru is a process whereby you gradually come to a point where you begin relying on the inner guru of your Christ self instead of the outer guru.

The process you go through when you study under an outer guru is, as mentioned above, that you first study the outer teaching and then study the inner teaching. You then embody the inner teaching until you are literally living that teaching.

At that point some students will have made such a strong connection to the inner guru of their Christ self that they can begin manifesting and expressing their individual Christhood without developing a closer relationship with the outer guru. Yet some students still need the contact with the outer guru until they attain such a degree of union with the outer guru that they leave behind the lower self and become one in consciousness (of one mind) with the guru.

Another way to describe the process of moving towards Christhood is to say that the student is losing his or her false, or pseudo, individuality, namely that of the lower consciousness (the dualistic mind) while attaining union with the true individuality of the Christ self and the spiritual self. So again the question is what it takes for a particular student to let go of the pseudo self and unite with the Christ self. And as I said, for some this can be achieved by embodying the teaching while for others it can best be achieved as a result of union with the outer guru.

When you do attain the state of union with the outer guru, you lose the pseudo self and manifest your individual Christhood. And at that point you have two options. You can focus on expressing your individual Christhood or you can move on to become my twin in action in this world.

Becoming my twin means that you maintain such a strong connection with me that you will know how I would have responded to a particular situation. If you do not opt to become my twin, you are responding to every situation by expressing your individual Christhood. When you are my twin, you are so closely connected with me that you know how I would have responded to that situation. This does not mean that my twin always responds as I would have done, because even at twin can choose to express his or her individual Christhood in certain situations. Yet it does mean that you will know how I would have responded, and that is why Thomas was a valuable asset for the early Christian movement and could often lead the other disciples in the direction that I wanted them to follow. Yet becoming my twin clearly is not for everyone.

There is nothing wrong with expressing your individual Christhood. For most people this will be the right thing to do—once they have attained that Christhood. Yet even today there is a need for some people who will choose to become my twins and therefore will know what I would have done or said in a particular situation.

Take for example my website. Kim could have brought forth many of the teachings on this website as an expression of his individual Christhood. He could have stated that the teachings came from him or rather from his higher self. Or he could have set up this website as a dialogue with an unknown or unnamed master. While this might indeed have made this website more acceptable to some people who have negative feelings towards me, it was not what I wanted him to do. So he surrendered his desire for individual expression and was willing to state that the teachings come directly from me. Obviously, this will make him subject to the scorn and ridicule of those who do not understand the spiritual reality or who do not recognize my voice.

Become a spiritual sun in all situations

TOPICS: The sun of your being – allowing the sun to shine through in all situations – do not accept the world’s image of who it wants you to be – becoming God-centered rather than ego-centered – allow God to give others a gift through you –

Question: The Human Self, the Dualistic Mind, the Intellect, The Ego, and the Synthetic Self are all inter-connected aspects of my life which are not at all what I desired from the beginning when I first came into this embodiment. It is these that have had control over me because my soul chose to accept their power and dominance as a result of the conditioning and authority that I was born in to and the Karma that I have had to face and endure. Now I want to surrender them all. My Spiritual path is leading me to aspire to live the full experience of my soul CONSCIOUSNESS and SOLAR AWARENESS which I desire to take full dominion over me. Can you describe this experience? Or is this something that only “I” can feel…only “I” can experience because “I AM” an individual aspect or ATOM OF GOD? The closest analogy I can come to is that “I would become like the filament of an electric Light Bulb that begins to glow and shine unto others as in the glow of a New Birth”….but to live each moment with the infinite Power, Love and Wisdom that is GOD.

In the end, it is something that you personally must feel because you are a unique individual, and therefore your experience will be slightly different than the experiences of other lifestreams. Furthermore, it is difficult to describe an experience with words. Just imagine that you had to use words to describe the taste of an apple. You know what an apple tastes like, but try to describe it with words and you will find it very difficult.

Nevertheless, I will attempt to give you a description. In the answer to another question, I explained that your true God-given individuality is anchored in your spiritual self, or I AM Presence. Your analogy of a light bulb is good, but I prefer to use the analogy of the sun. Your I AM Presence is literally the spiritual sun of your being.

When you think about the physical sun, you realize that it does one thing and one thing only—it shines. The sun is constantly radiating its life-giving rays. The sun is doing so unconditionally, meaning that the sun is not affected by how people respond or fail to respond to its warming rays. If people on earth curse the sun, the sun does not stop shining. If people ignore the sun, the sun does not shine any less.

So as you walk the spiritual path towards Christhood, what happens is that you gradually overcome the lower elements of your consciousness and you become the open door whereby the light of your I AM Presence can shine through your outer consciousness. As a result of this gradual process, you begin to allow the sun rays of your I AM Presence to shine through you in all situations.

You can literally begin to feel that you are a sun walking through life and simply radiating your light and warmth to everyone whom you meet. Some people might reject you, but that does not cause you to hide your light or to hold it back. You see, the lower self causes you to analyze and evaluate every situation. You try to adapt to what you think the world wants you to be, and that creates an element of distance, of separation and of artificiality. Instead of being who you are and expressing your unique God-given individuality, you have allowed the world to impose an image upon you of who the world wants you to be.

As always, there is a subtle distinction here. I am not saying that people should do whatever they want without considering the consequences it has for others. You see many people in the world who allow their egos to run their lives without any restrictions, and such people are completely self-centered egomaniacs with no regard for how their actions affect other parts of life. Obviously, that is not what I am encouraging here.

What I am saying is that as you rise on the spiritual path, you overcome the human ego and its selfishness and self-centeredness. Instead, you become God-centered and you allow your God self to express itself through you in all situations. Obviously, this does not mean that you become insensitive toward other people. However, it does mean that you become sensitive to the gift that God wants to give these people in that particular situation. In other words, instead of trying to give people what they think they want with their outer consciousness, you are giving people what their lifestreams want them to have, so that they can rise to a higher level on the spiritual path.

This is what you saw me do during my lifetime. I was simply being who I am and allowing my spiritual self, my spiritual sun, to shine through me. My goal was to never leave a person the same, to never leave a person in the same state of consciousness, in which I met that person. And I allowed my spiritual self to give each person a unique gift of light and wisdom, which gave that person the opportunity to come up higher.

Some people ignored my gift, some people rejected it and some people attacked me for giving it because they did not want to be disturbed. Yet I continued to radiate my light and to let it shine before men, and that is truly what every human being can do by walking the spiritual path and becoming the Living Christ in embodiment.

The decrees given in the past

Question: For protection decrees…why are you not referring people back to the decrees given by Archangel Michael in the past?

The main reason is that progressive revelation is progressive. The tools and teachings we gave in the past were given for a certain level of consciousness. The tools and teachings we give today are given for a higher level of consciousness.

This does in no way invalidate what was given in the past. There are people who are still at that level of consciousness, and they can benefit from using those tools and teachings. Yet consider the ancient truth: “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” Since this website has appeared to you, does it not show you that you must be ready for it? Thus, use our current decree to Archangel Michael instead of what was given in the past.

While the technique of decreeing can be very effective, it is only effective if a lifestream is ready for this technique. The purpose for our websites is to increase people’s awareness of the path to personal Christhood. Our desire is to present this path in universal terms. We are not trying to promote one particular organization, philosophy, religion or spiritual technique as the only or best tool for attaining Christhood.

I fully understand that when a person finds an organization or spiritual technique that works for him or her, that person can become very enthusiastic. Unfortunately, many people take this enthusiasm a bit too far by believing that the technique or philosophy that works so well for them will work equally well for anybody else. It is understandable that people have this belief, and I do not desire to dampen anyone’s enthusiasm.

However, we of the ascended masters cannot afford to assume that one philosophy, one religion or one spiritual technique will work for everyone. Our task is to attempt to bring every lifestream home. The people on planet earth are in so many different states of consciousness that it simply isn’t possible to find one technique or philosophy that works for everyone.

I am fully aware that this website cannot reach everyone either. Obviously, many people will not be open to the teachings presented on this website or to the idea that a person can bring forth teachings from spiritual beings. Nevertheless, I know that millions of people are prepared at inner levels to manifest a high degree of personal Christhood.

I hope to reach many of these people and make them consciously acknowledge their spiritual potential. It is not my goal to see them join any particular organization or use any particular spiritual technique. If a person diligently pursues the path to personal Christhood and sharpens his or her intuition, the person’s Christ Self will reveal which spiritual technique is most effective for taking the next step on the path.

How to guarantee that you will NOT get results from using spiritual tools

I said all the prayers for a year and just could not see any change in my life or circumstances.i felt like I was being taken for a ride. I am angry because I initiated my wife and a few of my close friends to this and one of them lost a sizeable amount of money after repeating violet flame for 12 months.Then since there was no progress for anyone I felt like a fool. Then suddenly i say to them Hey ! stop ! stop ! this is not working now let us try this !
What trust would they have anymore in me or my words ? So for this I felt cheated by the website.All hollow promises.Lots of words and lots of dictations all leading to nowhere.A rosary every month and each so long that it looks like Mother Mary feels that we humans have nothing to do but recite rosaries and do nothing else. This is a perfect illustration of how black-and-white thinking puts people in a spiritual catch-22 from which it is very difficult for them to escape.

Many people have for some time gone from one spiritual teaching to another, always hoping that the new one would be the one that would change their outer situation without requiring them to change themselves. In this case, the person knows at subconscious levels that he is lacking something. In reality, this person is right on the brink of taking the step toward taking responsibility for himself and becoming teachable. Yet he has not yet realized this consciously because he refuses to let go of the ego’s dream of an automatic path to salvation. This has resulted in an inner tension in the person, manifesting as insecurity.

In order to cover over this insecurity he has – instead of making the changes that would take him beyond it – set himself up as the supreme judge of what is true and false, at least in his circle of influence. He thus coerced his family and friends into using the decrees and rosaries offered on the Toolbox website. Yet because he has not let go of black-and-white thinking, he set himself up for a fall from the very beginning.

This is revealed in the following remarks: “i said all the prayers for a year and just couldnot see any change in my life or circumstances.” and “one of them lost a sizeable amount of money after repeating violet flame for 12 months.”

These remarks demonstrate how people in black-and-white thinking approach spiritual techniques of any kind, including prayer. They think God is a kind of genie in a bottle and that they can make a deal with God. If they rub the magic lamp – by saying prayers, lighting candles or giving rosaries – God should jump out of the bottle and give them what they want.

In reality, there is no place on our websites where we promise that if you use the tools we offer, you will see specific outer changes within a specific period of time. On the contrary, we go out of our way to explain that the true key to making any spiritual technique work is to realize that in order to change your outer situation you must first change yourself. In fact, the real purpose of Mother Mary’s rosaries is to help people change themselves, and specific outer changes are not their main purpose.

Thus, it was the person’s black-and-white approach that caused him to project such expectations upon the teachings and tools we give. The website is not making false promises, but the person made false promises to himself and his friends and family. Thus, when the promised results did not manifest, he felt threatened and instead of admitting that he needed to change his approach, he fell back into the old pattern of deflecting responsibility. Thus, he projected unto the website that it was making false promises.

This reveals another aspect of black-and-white thinking, namely that if you can never be proven wrong, you can never look at the truth. Instead, you must avoid actually looking at ideas presented by other people, and you do this by always projecting something upon others and their ideas. In reality, what you project upon others is most often what you are doing yourself. In this case, the person is projecting unto this website that it made false promises, yet he was the one making such promises.

An obvious example of projection is the statement, “i felt like I was being taken for a ride.” The reality is that our websites are simply put on the internet as an offer to people. There is nothing that forces people to look at the sites, and there is no attempt made to make people feel that if they don’t accept the sites, they will go to hell. Thus, this person found the site because he was searching and he made a voluntary decision to study the site and use its tools. Yet he is now projecting unto the site that he was somehow forced to do what he did. This is a clear example of a failure to accept responsibility for one’s own decisions, instead seeking to project responsibility upon others.

Let me also say that when you put a teaching on the internet, you cannot control who finds it. Thus, there are people who find this website without being ready for its teachings. Yet when a person studies the teachings and uses the tools for an extended period of time, the person was clearly ready for at least some of the initiations presented on this website.

In the case of the person who wrote these letters, he was ready to take the important leap of letting go of the black-and-white thinking and accepting responsibility for his path, seeking to change his inner situation instead of focusing on his outer circumstances. Unfortunately, the person’s outer mind was so focused on attaining specific outer results that he could not recognize the true lesson he was meant to learn from finding this website.

Thus, although he used the rosaries, he did not use them in a way that could ever give results. If you use a rosary correctly, you do it to change your psychology. You engage your heart and thus you will feel the flow of spiritual energy released as you say the words. This will be such an uplifting experience that in itself this is sufficient reward for giving a rosary. Yet when you force yourself to repeat a rosary and do so in a rote manner, you will not experience this reward. And when you are not willing to change your consciousness, you will feel like you are performing a rote ritual. However, what makes it rote is your own unwillingness to engage the heart. It is a poor carpenter who blames his tools.

Let me make it clear that it has never been my intention to present this website as the only or the ultimate spiritual teaching. Thus, I do not hold the image that those who find this website will necessarily keep studying it or keep using the tools forever. There are people who find this website because they need one single idea that can help them see through an illusion that blocks their progress. Once they have internalized that idea, they might need to move on to other teachings or other areas of service.

If people find this website and fail to learn the lesson they are meant to learn, it can be better for them to move on. Thus, I hope that the person who wrote these letters will use his newfound teaching to pass the one initiation that blocks his progress. I hope he does not use the new teaching to set himself up for the next fall.

The simple fact is, as we have stated, that there is no spiritual tool which will do the work for you. Walking the spiritual path is a matter of you making the conscious decision to shift your state of consciousness. You can do this only when you take responsibility for yourself, and this means – among other things – that you overcome the common view that God is a genie in a bottle. If you use spiritual tools for the specific purpose of seeing specific outer changes within a specific time frame, you will set yourself up for disappointment.

What we explain throughout our websites is that your outer situation is a reflection of your inner situation. So the key to changing your outer situation is to first change your inner situation. The ONLY way to change what the cosmic mirror reflects back to you is to change what you are projecting into the mirror. So if you approach spiritual tools with the attitude that you are doing so first and foremost to change your own consciousness, then you put yourself in a frame of mind where you cannot fail to get results. Regardless of what happens or does not happen in your outer situation, you will indeed feel a change inside. And when you attain greater inner peace, you will never feel disappointed in your use of spiritual tools.

You might even come to a point, where feeling spiritual light flowing through you is its own reward and you seek nothing else. And that is precisely when changes might start happening in your outer situation, as I explained 2,000 years ago: “For seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”

How to react when your spiritual work does not produce the physical results you desire

Question: During history, many sincere religious people and spiritual students have prayed, decreed or given rosaries to bring about particular physical changes on earth or in society. In many cases, these changes did not come about. How can we avoid becoming discouraged by this, as I personally know people who have given up when God did not give them what they prayed for?

Answer from ascended master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels: (December 8, 2007)

My beloved students and all others who have given my rosaries to bring about world changes: Do not fall prey to the ever-present temptation to become discouraged because you do not see specific material results of your spiritual work. Always remember that what you are doing is SPIRITUAL work, and thus you may or you may not see physical results or you may not see results as quickly as you hope for.

Why is this so? First of all because of the Law of Free Will. If a small number of people could do rosaries and thereby “force” a population of hundreds of millions of people to do certain things, you would have control over that population and that would be a violation of the Law of Free Will. The students of the ascended masters have absolute respect for free will and NEVER seek to force others. Only those who are students of the hierarchy of anti-christ – whether they know this or not – seek to force others through spiritual work.

There is nothing that can be given on this earth that cannot be misused by those who are blinded by the consciousness of duality. I have made great efforts to make it difficult to misuse my rosaries, but you can still do so, even with the best of intentions. If you give a rosary with an ego-based attachment to seeing particular results, you will be sending a fear-based, dualistic impulse into the collective consciousness, and this is a form of black magic that seeks to force others.

Take note that even if you seek to force others to do what seems to be for their own good, you are still exercising black magic because you are violating the Law of Free Will. Black magic is any activity that uses psychic force to influence or override the free will of others—even if this is done with seemingly benign intentions. For you see, the purpose of planet earth is to be a cosmic schoolroom—it is NOT to produce specific physical results. Everything is subject to people’s use of free will, so what God wants to see happen is that people learn—even if they learn by experiencing some very unpleasant consequences of their choices.

I am not hereby saying that those who have given my rosaries are dabbling in black magic—I am simply making a point. The fact is that all spiritual people face the test of how they will respond when they do not get the desired results from their spiritual work. There are two main temptations. One is to begin to use psychic force to influence others, and that is black magic. Most spiritual people will not use black magic, but many of them are quite susceptible to the second temptation, which is to become discouraged when they do not see specific results of their spiritual work. This is obviously the case with many people in traditional religions, who pray to God for a specific change in their lives without being able or willing to change their consciousness in order to bring about that change—as I explain in my books.

You need to consider that all genuine spiritual work is a threat to the forces of darkness. Their first line of defense is to prevent people from engaging in spiritual work. When that cannot be attained, their next line of defense is to make people discouraged so they give up on trying to produce changes, especially changes on a world scale.

To do this, they only have to make use of the very psychology that causes people to engage in spiritual work in the first place. You see, spiritual people obviously know there is something not right on this planet, and they see the need to do spiritual work in order to improve conditions. So it is natural for people at a certain level of consciousness to engage in spiritual work precisely because they want to help bring about positive world changes. This is, so to speak, the motivation that drives people to sacrifice their time in giving prayers, rosaries or other spiritual techniques.

Please take note that there is nothing wrong with this—at a certain level of the spiritual path. However, it is inevitable that as people engage in this process, they will face the temptation of discouragement. And the more attached they are to seeing specific physical results, the stronger the temptation will be.

We have seen many sincere students who have made dramatic changes in their lives and put forth a great and sincere effort in order to bring about a specific change in their own lives or on a larger scale, be it national or global. And when the desired change did not come about at the expected date, they started listening to the tempter, who is always there seeking to use the situation to make them take in the spiritual poison of discouragement—which is a very specific vibration that will aggressively mushroom in your energy field once you let it in.

Now, some people are able to resist the tempter, and they keep doing the same spiritual work for decades or a lifetime. Yet I am not actually trying to say that this is the best possible response. For you see, many of these people are still pursuing a particular outer change—it is simply a change that they keep pushing in front of themselves as the donkey pushes the carrot hanging in front of its nose.

So what is the response I am seeking to help you understand? It is the need to realize that there are stages on the spiritual path and that what is appropriate at one stage is not appropriate on a higher stage. As you first become aware of the need to do spiritual work, it is only natural that you are motivated by the desire to help bring about physical changes. Yet as you mature on the path, it is necessary to reconsider your motivation and step up to a higher motivation. For as Albert Einstein said, it is a form of insanity to continue doing the same thing while expecting that one day you will get a different result.

After having done spiritual work for some time – how long is different for each individual – out of a motivation to bring about specific physical changes, it is necessary to reconsider your approach and step up to a higher motivation This motivation is that you stop focusing on outer results but realize that any change in the physical MUST begin as a change in the three higher levels of the mind/universe. Thus, the real way to bring forth physical change is to first work for a change in people’s consciousness.

When you realize this, you understand that planet earth is a cosmic schoolroom, and the process of learning is ongoing because the lifestreams on this planet are at many different levels of consciousness. This leads to two important conclusions. One is that your spiritual work is never finished, for there will always be the possibility for an expansion of the collective and individual consciousness. The other is that your spiritual work is never wasted.

For even if you do not see a specific change in the physical, there WILL be a change in the higher levels of the material universe. Your spiritual work WILL have a positive effect in the identity, mental and emotional realms in terms of transforming the collective consciousness. This WILL make it easier for people to make better choices with their conscious minds, and it is the choices made by the conscious minds that determine what changes will manifest physically and when it will happen.

In other words, you cannot control and should not have any intention to control people’s choices. Therefore, you can have no attachment to whether specific changes happen in the physical, for you leave that up to people’s choices. You clearly see that it is your role to lighten the planetary consciousness, so people have the foundation for making better choices. And once you have done that, you leave the rest up to free will.

This also means that you stop setting a specific date on when certain changes should occur, for you realize that this is also up to people’s free will. All people are not at your level of consciousness, so the changes that seem obvious to you will be impossible to see for people at a lower level of consciousness. Yet you know that if you keep doing your spiritual work, you will continue to lighten the planetary consciousness, and thus it is only a matter of time before a new understanding breaks through to the conscious minds of a critical mass of people.

Do you see what I am saying? Spiritual work is NEVER wasted! It is only a matter of time before a critical mass is reached and you will see a change at the physical level—yet precisely how long this will take is a matter of a complex equation, which is entirely based on how people exercise their free will.

So when you do any kind of spiritual work, you must keep always in mind that you are NOT seeking to force other people to make certain choices—you are seeking to GIVE THEM A FOUNDATION FOR MAKING BETTER CHOICES by raising their state of consciousness and their awareness of specific issues.

Thus, even though many rosaries mention specific issues and specific changes that need to happen, you must keep it clear in your mind that you are NOT seeking to “force” others to bring about those changes. You are speaking to the collective and individual consciousness in order to raise people’s awareness so they will be able to see what they cannot currently see and thus make choices according to their higher understanding.

We of the ascended masters are NOT seeking to force certain changes upon humanity—we leave that to the forces of anti-christ. We are seeking to help humanity make better choices so that people bring about changes because they truly understand that it is enlightened self-interest to do so. Yet to make this switch in consciousness requires you to think beyond the image of an angry God portrayed by traditional religion—for this god is indeed seeking to force changes upon people.

When you look at history, you will see that positive changes have come about precisely because a critical mass of people did change their consciousness and started acting on their new understanding. That is why people no longer believe the earth is flat, and you will see that there IS a general upward trend showing a clear expansion of consciousness.

Obviously, you also see some periods where there has been still stand or even backward steps. Yet when you step up to a higher motivation, you see that even such periods are simply stepping stones for a breakthrough to a higher understanding.

The image I want to give you here is that holding the immaculate concept does NOT mean that you hold the vision for a specific physical result, and if the result does not come about, you reason something has gone wrong—thus losing the vision. Holding the immaculate concept means holding the vision that no matter what happens on a temporary basis, there is an ongoing, upward trend. For physical appearances are only the effects of causes in the three higher levels of the universe and the spiritual realm.

This is much like a sine wave which has crests and troughs or ups and downs. Yet instead of the wave moving horizontally, the wave is moving upwards at an angle. So even though there are temporary downturns, the general direction is still upwards. Likewise, even though world conditions have their ups and downs, there is a general upward movement, for the River of Life itself – as we recently said in England – is going up and no force on earth is powerful enough to stop it.

In the last part of Maitreya’s book there is an extremely important teaching on the need to disconnect your spiritual work from the desire to see specific results and why this is such a dangerous trap for the more mature spiritual people. This is a very extensive explanation that I will not repeat in this answer. I will simply encourage all mature spiritual students to study the book and strive to internalize the message.

For my beloved, when you are new to the spiritual path, you still approach spiritual growth through the filter of duality. Thus, you still have fear in your being, which causes you to think in terms of the stick-and-carrot scenario. You either do spiritual work to escape hell or prevent a planetary disaster. Or you do it to be rewarded personally or by seeing a planetary paradise. As you grow, you need to rise above this dualistic motivation and embrace the higher motivation, where everything you do is done out of the desire to express your spiritual identity – to let your spiritual sun shine – in the material world. You move from being motivated by fear to being motivated by love, the perfect love that casts out fear.

There comes a point, where you are not doing spiritual work with the expectation of seeing a particular result. You are doing it as an expression of who you are. This change of attitude – of moving out on duality and into non-duality – is described very clearly and concisely in the new book, The Art of Non-war.

Being here below all that you are Above is, of course, what will bring about the greatest possible changes, for now you are realizing that it is not your outer self who is doing the work, but it is the father within you – your spiritual self – who is working through you. Your conscious self is now seeing itself as an extension of God, as Jesus expressed when he said, “My Father worketh hitherto and I work.” And this is the step up that both the students in Russia and elsewhere can make in order to take their service to a distinctly higher level.

Don’t feel guilty for having the feelings an invocation is meant to help you resolve

Question: When I say the forgiveness rosary I am repeatedly reminded how unhealthy it is for one to be angry. How can I avoid actually feeling guilty for feeling anger?

Answer from ascended master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels:

It is extremely important that you don’t use these rosaries to feel guilty for having the negative emotions that the rosaries are designed to transform. The whole point of the forgiveness rosary is to help you forgive yourself, not causing you to condemn yourself for feeling anger.

To avoid this reaction, it will be helpful to be aware of the fact that whenever you use a spiritual technique, the light invoked through that technique will flush out its own opposite in your energy field and subconscious mind. In other words, when you give the forgiveness rosary, it will flush out anger in your subconscious mind. This anger will then surface in your conscious mind, and what you need to do is to simply let it go. There are some things in life that you simply need to surrender, because there is nothing to resolve. Of course, if feeling come up during the giving of a rosary, you might need to look at their origin, as I explain in another answer.

You might visualize that whenever a spike of anger comes up, you forgive all people involved and you see the anger pass into my Sacred Heart or the Immaculate Heart of Mother Mary, where it is instantly consumed by the spiritual fire.

You simply need to keep giving the rosary for a time until all of the anger and non-forgiveness is consumed. This will happen over time, and that is one of the reasons behind the saying that in your patience you will posses your soul.

Spiritual protection, binding the ego

Question: About spiritual protection, when I ask for Michael’s protection around me, I also include protection from the imperfect energies of the ego within. Does this help with those unconscious forces and beliefs or do we need to bring all those to light and make them conscious in order to avoid those chinks in the armor of protection from negative energies?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels:

It is both important and helpful to ask Archangel Michael to protect you against the enemy within. In fact, it is highly beneficial to ask Archangel Michael to bind the human ego and the dweller on the threshold. You will see that this is part of Archangel Michael’s Rosary.

The reason it is important to do this is that when the lifestream begins walking the spiritual path, the lifestream often is not strong enough in its own self-awareness to keep the ego in check. The ego still has so much influence over the lifestream, that it can greatly slow down your spiritual progress and perhaps even cause you to abandon the path. It will therefore be a great assistance to your spiritual growth to ask Archangel Michael to bind the ego.

However, it is extremely important to realize that while Archangel Michael can bind your ego, no being in heaven can take away your ego. The reason being that you created your ego by making free-will choices, and therefore the ego can be uncreated only by making free-will choices.

What Archangel Michael can do for you is to bind your ego so that your lifestream can progress more rapidly on the spiritual path. As you attain a higher degree of Christhood, you can begin to tackle the ego one decision at a time. You can then gradually abandon all of the false beliefs, the imperfect decisions and the dualistic sense of identity that make up the ego.

Yet in order to be permanently free of the ego, you must consciously replace all of the dualistic decisions that led to the creation of the ego with better decisions based on the unified vision of the Christ mind. Of course, in order to replace these decisions, you must make them conscious.

However, this can be done as a gradual process of replacing imperfect beliefs with better beliefs. Only when you have replaced all of the imperfect decisions will you fulfill the saying that the prince of this world comes and has nothing in you. As long as you have an ego, the prince of this world will have something in you that he can use to tempt, manipulate, coerce or control you.

The gift of self-awareness and the violet flame

Question: I believe that the violet flame may possibly be the greatest gift the people on this planet have been given. Did you have knowledge of the violet flame when you were embodied as Jesus? If you did, did you learn about it from a teacher on your travels or through meditation? I was under the impression that knowledge of the violet flame reached the masses first in the 1930’s or so. I believe many people would be interested to know if you did use the violet flame, especially if it was known only by a select few at that time, for people may be even more willing to follow your example of working with it if they are not doing so already.

I will have to lovingly and respectfully disagree with you. The greatest gift any being has received is the gift of life, the gift of self-awareness which comes from the fact that God the Creator has embedded a portion of its own consciousness within you. So the greatest gift of all is that you are a son or daughter of God because you have the Christ consciousness within you.

The next great gift is that of free will, which gives you the opportunity to be a co-creator with your God. This is expressed in my saying, “My Father worketh hitherto, and I work (John 5:17).” Your Father has worked hitherto by giving you life, free will and an orderly universe guided by laws as a platform for your growth in creative ability. You now have the opportunity to co-create within the framework of God’s law, and by doing so you will multiply your talents, take dominion over the matter universe – including the material side of your being – and thereby you become more, the world of form becomes more and God becomes more.

It is true that many people see the gift of free will as a dubious gift but that is only because they are unwilling to use it within the framework of God’s law and creative vision. This unwillingness to see themselves as one with the Father, and declare, “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30), has caused people to fall into the consciousness of separation and duality. And the greatest gift people have received to help them rise above separation – the consciousness of spiritual death – is the Christ consciousness – the consciousness of life. Only after that would I rank the violet flame.

I did indeed have knowledge of the violet flame in my embodiment as Jesus, and I invoked it often. I had known about this form of spiritual energy since childhood when I discovered it intuitively, as many children do. I did not learn to invoke it systematically until I traveled to the East, as explained elsewhere. I met several teachers in the East who taught me about this form of energy and its ability to erase past mistakes, in the East called karma and in Israel called sin—two names for the same thing. In fact one of these teachers was, Balthazar, one of the three wise men. There are several spiritual techniques from the East, including meditation and yoga that invoke the violet flame energy.

Obviously, I did not call this energy the violet flame. I later presented it to my disciples as the Holy Spirit or the comforter:

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:16)

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26)

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: (John 15:26)

Let me say that all spiritual masters have known about this energy under one name or another. Once you have misqualified God’s energy, you cannot ascend until you purify that energy. And this can be done only by invoking spiritual energy from above. So I used the violet flame as did the Buddha and Krishna. In reality, many religious rituals from around the world invoke this energy. When Christians engage in communion with pure hearts, the wafer and the wine are charged with violet flame energy, and this can have a transformative effect on the person receiving communion.

It is correct that in ages past, the ascended masters were not allowed to teach the invocation of the violet flame in a direct form. The reason being that the consciousness of humankind was so low that they would likely have misused it on a large scale. They would have invoked the violet flame to erase their sins and then they would have gone right back and committed more sins—as some Catholics bought letters to absolve them of their sins or went to confession only to sin again. This can actually prevent lifestreams from growing spiritually by allowing them to remain in the dualistic consciousness without being burdened by their karma—which can force them to change.

Yet the violet flame was taught to the multitudes in the disguised form of communion and other rituals. Still, this could not be done without an ascended being holding the balance for the use of the violet flame by taking upon himself the karma of any misuse of the flame. That is why I said:

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. (John 16:7)

I had to sponsor the release of violet flame energy through the Christian dispensation, which I could not do until I had ascended. So I did bear the responsibility for the misuse of the violet flame in the Christian dispensation. Likewise, Saint Germain must bear the burden for any misuse in the Aquarian age, and that is why he had to receive permission from cosmic councils to release the knowledge of how to invoke the violet flame through spoken affirmations, or decrees. Likewise, Mother Mary must bear the responsibility for any misuse of her new rosaries, as she has done for the misuse of her old rosary.

Finally, I would not say that knowledge of the violet flame reached the masses in the 1930’s. It would be more correct to say that this knowledge was made available to the masses. So far they have been oblivious to the opportunity they have been given by Saint Germain, as they have been oblivious to the opportunity given by me over the past 2,000 years. They would rather listen to the blind leaders who tell them that my blood on the cross secured their salvation for them than they would put forth the effort to use the violet flame to transmute the karma that blocks their salvation.

Nevertheless, the kingdom of God is at hand. The time has come when more and more people will choose to become awakened and realize that God saves those who are willing to make an effort to save themselves. And once awakened to this timeless reality, people will make use of the tools that are available in this age. Truly, in recorded history, humankind has never had a greater opportunity for spiritual growth than right now.

Let me add here that the violet flame is not the only expression of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a universal form of energy, whereby I mean that it is the basic energy from which the seven spiritual rays have been differentiated. Thus, the Holy Spirit can flow through each of the seven rays, and when it does so, it takes on the “coloring” of a specific ray while retaining its ability to erase karma and misqualified energy. Thus, each of the rays can be used for this purpose, as demonstrated by our new decrees to the seven rays.

Correct use of psychic abilities and astrology

Question: How is our relationship to the universe and the earth, as in astrology and future predictions, as well as (some of us having) psychic abilities (the ability to make some future predictions) fit into our spiritual growth and relationship to you and God?

As explained in the answer to another question, everything is made from the universal Christ consciousness. Therefore, everything is connected at deeper levels. Because human beings have descended into a lower state of consciousness, they have lost their awareness of the deeper connection between themselves and the fabric of life. They no longer realize that they are part of a larger whole.

Because of the deep connections between all parts of life, it is quite possible for the mind of a person to connect to something beyond its limited sense of identity and awareness. It is possible to turn the dial of consciousness and tune in to a level of reality beyond the material realm. This is what you see as various types a psychic abilities.

A genuine psychic ability helps you connect to a larger part of yourself, such as your Christ self or a spiritual being who is serving as the teacher of your lifestream. However, the lower psychic abilities can make you tune in to lower beings that are seeking to thwart your spiritual progress. That it is why it is important to develop discernment, as I explained in my discourse on channeling.

Because of the deep connection between all parts of life, there is indeed a connection between your current lifetime and the astrological configurations present at your birth. However, it is extremely important to have the right approach to both psychic forms of communication and astrological interpretations. What has happened to many people is that they have used astrology or psychic readings to develop a picture of an event that will happen in the future or develop an image of what they can or cannot do in that lifetime. In other words, these people have used such portents in a fatalistic manner to set up boundaries for their potential in this lifetime. This is always a misuse of such abilities.

The overall purpose for your life is to grow spiritually, meaning that you must transcend and rise above your current state of consciousness and your current limitations. For example, your personal astrology can be used to find many valid pointers about the psychological makeup you have in this lifetime. This can help you determine what you need to work on, meaning the limitations that you are meant to overcome in this lifetime and the positive potential that you are meant to magnify and develop.

The problem occurs when people look at their astrology and determine that “I can’t do this or I’m no good at doing that.” Therefore, they decide to use their astrology as an excuse to ignore the challenges that their lifestreams wanted to overcome in the current lifetime. In other words, instead of seeing life as an opportunity to overcome certain limitations, they accept boundaries for their growth. This has indeed been detrimental to the spiritual growth of many lifestreams, and it is a clear misuse of the science of astrology.

Likewise, many people have used psychic premonitions or predictions made by psychics to develop a fatalistic approach to life. Once again, this is a complete misuse of such gifts, and such misuse is especially tragic if the psychic reading was not accurate to begin with it.

Instead of taking a fatalistic approach, lifestreams should use astrology and psychic predictions as pointers that might help them map out the challenges they need to overcome and the positive potentials they need to magnify. Then, lifestreams can use the spiritual tools given on the toolbox website, or some of the many other spiritual tools available, to overcome their limitations and magnify their potential. I would especially recommend that people use the decrees and the invocations to overcome any negative portents in their personal astrology, or even in the world astrology, as well as any negative psychic premonitions or predictions they have encountered.

Let me also mention that the only way to correctly interpret astrology is through intuitive faculties, meaning an inner guidance from your Christ self. A computer simply cannot correctly interpret your astrology. An intuitive person who is skilled in astrology can give you much more valuable insights. Yet in the end you should never let anything outside yourself become a substitute or replacement for intuitive insights that come directly from your Christ self. Therefore, it is extremely important to work on your personal discernment. This involves protecting yourself spiritually from any outside influences and establishing the best possible contact with your Christ self.

Is fasting a way to accelerate one’s spiritual growth?

Question: Beloved Jesus, what would you say about fasting (in a sense of totally abstaining from food) as a way to accelerate one’s spiritual growth? The idea to pass through the 40 day fasting (while totally abstaining from food) – as you did when you were in the desert, and as other spiritual seekers, ascetics and hermits did – inspires me a lot. So the question is: can it give some benefit or harm? And how one could abstain from food without harming himself?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels: (May 26, 2011)

I strongly discourage anyone from trying to go for 40 days while totally abstaining from food. There is simply no way to do this without harming your body, and there is not spiritual benefit from doing so.

It is a misunderstanding that I spent 40 days in the desert without eating anything. You can take two basic approaches to any aspect of my life. One is the literal approach, where you think the Bible is the literal word of God, and thus anything mentioned in the scriptures happened exactly as described. Through this approach, you will never understand the true meaning of my teachings and example. The other approach is to realize that even so-called actual events from the scriptures have a deeper meaning—and thus you must always look beyond the literal interpretation. So what is the deeper meaning of me spending 40 days in the wilderness?

You might see this in terms of the contrast between two environments. You have human society, an environment in which most everything is controlled by man-made rules and ideas. Then you have the “wilderness,” an environment in which things are not controlled by man but are closer to a natural state. So the symbolism is that I withdrew for a time from the world of man-made rules, doctrines, beliefs and ideas. Yet doing this does not necessarily mean going out in nature. You can do this almost anywhere, as long as you can be in a quiet space and turn down outside distractions. You can even do it in the middle of a city, although it is a bit more difficult because of the more intense mass consciousness.

Fasting does not necessarily have anything to do with food. I “fasted” by emptying my mind from man-made ideas, thereby creating an empty space that made my mind open to intuitive impressions from a higher source, namely my I Will Be Presence and my spiritual teachers.

Do you see my point? What is the purpose for which you want to fast? If it is to gain a more spiritual state of consciousness, then it is not necessary to abstain from food. It is necessary to abstain from certain types of heavier food, such as meat, and to abstain from eating too much food. However, it is not necessary to abstain from all food, and it can indeed be counterproductive to do so.

What will it take for you to have a more spiritual experience? Everything in your life revolves around your attention. If your attention is on worldly affairs, it is more difficult to have a spiritual experience. So in order to get a higher experience, you need to take your attention away from worldly affairs, including the physical body.

Yet the simple fact is that abstaining from food is not the best way to take your attention away from the body. Most people who fast by totally abstaining from food find this to be such a difficult experience, that they end up putting more and more attention on the body the longer they fast. So the true meaning of fasting is to take your attention away from worldly matters and focus it on spiritual matters. Yet even this must be understood more deeply. For there are many people who think that focusing on spiritual matters means studying a spiritual teaching with the intellect or practicing a spiritual technique.

This is not necessarily invalid at a certain level of the path, but when you come to the higher levels, “fasting” truly means to empty your mind of everything and attuning it to your Presence. Fasting means focusing on experiencing pure awareness, so you truly become the open door for the Presence. Meaning you have no preconceived opinions that color the impressions from the Presence. You cannot do this at the lower levels of the path, but at higher levels this is your main goal.

What has happened over the centuries is two things. First of all, Christianity was hijacked by literalists, who thought everything should be interpreted literally—according to their definition of a literal interpretation. Secondly, during the Middle Ages, Christianity became hijacked by people who focused on life as suffering.

You will see that in most art from that period, I am depicted as hanging on the cross, suffering greatly. So instead of focusing on my positive teaching – that I came to give all people life and that more abundantly – Christianity became focused on the few hours I suffered on the cross. And then came the belief that it was my suffering on the cross that “bought” humankind’s salvation by somehow compensating for people’s sins.

You will easily see that this was influenced by the age-old belief that sacrificing an animal – by bleeding it to death – could pay for one’s sins. A belief that was in complete opposition to my true teaching, but which nevertheless came to dominate the view of my mission. As a result, it came to be believed that God – who was seen as good – required that you suffer before you could be free from sin. The insanity of this belief can be seen by considering the following. You have done something that caused suffering to another human being. You acknowledge this, and now you voluntarily put yourself through a process that causes suffering to yourself, thinking this second suffering will somehow compensate for the first suffering.

Yet in today’s world, you know that everything is energy. What you did to another, created a certain amount of misqualified energy. When you cause yourself to suffer, you create even more misqualified energy. Two wrongs do not make a right, because misqualified energy cannot eliminate misqualified energy. The only way to compensate for one’s sins is to produce positive energy, which can indeed transform the misqualified. Yet it can only do so if both sides have truly forgiven, which is why I emphasized forgiving all who have harmed you.

So my point is that over the centuries, the focus on suffering caused people to think that since abstaining from food causes you to suffer, this was a way to pay for your sins. And thus, has come the added belief that the more you suffer, the more you pay back sins. And this was then tied in with the idea that I fasted for 40 days, and some people then came to see this as the ultimate form of suffering through fasting. Some have even thought that if they died trying to fast for 40 days, they would surely be rewarded in heaven. They thought, “I will not surely die.”

Do you see that this is a complete misunderstanding? First of all, trying to abstain from all food for 40 days would kill many people, and suicide is not the way to a higher state of consciousness. Secondly, those who can survive fasting for that long, will end up focusing most of their attention on the pains of the body, which takes your attention away from being the open door for the Presence. So what is gained by this? And thirdly, deliberately causing yourself to suffer will produce misqualified energy that will not help your spiritual growth.

Concerning the 40 days, it should be considered that 2,000 years ago, people did not conceive of numbers the same way you do today. In today’s world, most schoolchildren understand that you can count to very high numbers. How many of you tried to count to one thousand when you were children? Yet 2,000 years ago, most adults could not count to one thousand, let alone conceive of this number. So back then, people simply could not conceive of the kind of numbers you today use to calculate the national debt. And even today, you will see that people have trouble visualizing how much money a country like the United States actually owes—it is simply too big to relate to anything in “real life.”

You may have heard that animals cannot count any higher than two. The same goes for some native peoples, who distinguish between one and two, but anything above two is seen as “many.” Well, there was a somewhat similar mechanism at play 2,000 years ago. People could count to a dozen, but anything above that was seen as “many.” The words used for that has since then been translated to the western “score,” but even the word “score” was originally used about an indeterminate amount and it was only in more modern times that a precise number was attached to it.

So when the Bible says that I fasted for 40 days, the actual number was not 40. It was simply a “large” number of days I spent in the wilderness. And here is another point. I went into the wilderness – and I did actually go away from human settlements – in order to have a spiritual experience, and I stayed only long enough to have that experience. During that time, I ate whatever food I could find, so as to keep my body just comfortable enough that I did not have to put my attention on the body, but could keep my attention free from outer distractions to focus within.

So if you try to imitate this by forcing yourself to fast for 40 days, you will actually put yourself in a frame of mind, that will make it more difficult for you to have a true spiritual experience. Because you will not simply be open to letting the experience happen at its own pace—you will be seeking to force it. And what you seek to force, you will be pushing ahead of you, as the donkey pushing the carrot hanging from a stick in front of its nose.

Any time – and I mean ANY time – you seek to force a spiritual experience, you will not have a true experience. Instead, you will open yourself up to lower forces, who can indeed give you an experience that is far beyond your ordinary state of consciousness, but it is not a true spiritual experience because it does not make you the open door for your Presence or ascended beings. Over the centuries, many people have attempted to take heaven by force and have opened themselves up to lower forces, thinking they had had a genuine spiritual experience. That is why fasting should not be attempted by people who are not balanced and who do not have both personal protection and spiritual discernment (discernment of spirits).

Do you see that fasting can very easily become an ego game? The ego wants to do something extreme, because it either wants to set itself apart from others, or it even thinks this will earn it points in the eyes of God.

So, in conclusion, the way to fast is to take your attention away from whatever draws it outwards. You need to empty your mind so you can be an open door for the Presence.

The only way to do this is to approach fasting the same way as you approach everything else on the path: through always striving for balance. This is simply the only way for you to pass the initiation of encountering the tempter, as you will do whenever you rise to a higher level of consciousness, and as you saw that I was tempted by the devil after my however many days in the wilderness.

You also need to see that it is not constructive to take what I am saying here as a reason to withdraw from society and isolate yourself. It is valid to withdraw for a time in order to establish your inner connection to your Presence. Yet once you begin to have this connection, you can now get involved in society without losing it. And in the Golden Age, we need people who can be involved with society while being the open doors for ideas from the ascended realm.

In today’s age, I would say that the most important way to fast is NOT by abstaining from food. The best way to fast is to eat enough to keep your body a non-issue and then keep your mind away from all of the “information pollution” with which modern people are bombarded. It is not the physical body that is the greatest hindrance for modern people; it is the fact that your minds are overstimulated by the information that comes at you from so many sources.

So the best way to fast is to turn off this stream of external information. And then turn off the internal bombardment, caused by the mind creating problems and then trying to convince you that you have to solve them. It is all a matter of monitoring where your attention goes. The kingdom of God is within you, so you will not enter it as long as your attention is constantly focused outside the point of stillness within you.

So try fasting from “information food” for a while. The good news is that abstaining from keeping up with what your friends are doing on Facebook won’t kill you—even after 40 days.

Understanding kundalini energy

Question 1: I’m confused, did you dear Jesus ever teach on the kundalini? Is the constant stream of spiritual energy that keeps us alive and the kundalini two different energies, or are they the same thing? I would be grateful if you could please clear up some of the confusion on this. Thank you so much.

Question 2: Many people today, myself included, are having kundalini awakenings. What can you tell us about the nature of kundalini energy and how it’s awakening affects a human being?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels:

These are excellent questions that touch upon a topic that all spiritual seekers can benefit from understanding. I did indeed teach about the kundalini energy, but I taught this only to my disciples because the multitudes were not ready for this teaching. I learned about the kundalini during my travels in India, and I experimented with some forms of yoga aimed at raising the kundalini. However, I realized that such techniques were not suited for most people, and therefore I did not teach them, not even to my disciples.

The word “kundalini” is simply another name for the stream of spiritual energy that keeps you alive. I talked about this energy in public, and you can still find hints of it in the New Testament. I normally referred to it as the “water of Life” or the “living water.” This energy is one aspect of the Holy Spirit, and you might remember that the Holy Spirit has the role of helping you grow and transcend your limitations. This is an important key to understanding the nature of the kundalini energy and the effect it has on human beings.

The most important thing you can understand about the kundalini energy is that it gives you life. The spiritual definition of “life” is something that is growing and self-transcending. Therefore, the energy of life, the kundalini energy, the living water of life, is ever-flowing and takes you beyond all boundaries and limitations. The natural state for a human being, who is in tune with his or her I AM Presence, is to flow with the River of Life and constantly transcend his or her self-awareness and sense of identity.

One might say that the central problem on planet earth is that most people have set up various conditions in their minds that cause them to shut off the natural flow of the kundalini energy through their energy fields. The human lifestream is designed to be a conduit for the flow of God’s unconditional love. Unconditional love will never stand still. When you are in this flow of love, you do not accept any conditions on earth that cause you to turn off the flow of love through you.

What has happened to most people is that they have set up various conditions in their minds, whereby they say that in this or that situation, they cannot allow unconditional love to flow through them. They cannot express love in those circumstances. Because the flow of love is the very life force itself, it is natural for it to flow. You can only shut it off through force. In reality, most people have used mental and emotional force to shut off the flow of life through their lifestreams and energy fields. In other words, they have used force to restrict the flow of life, the kundalini energy.

This is an extremely important realization, especially in light of the fact that many spiritual seekers have been lured into using various techniques that are designed to forcefully raise the kundalini energy. Such techniques have especially come from the East, where they have been used for millennia. Some of these techniques are valid, but only when they are taught by an experienced Guru to his most trusted disciples. And only when the student is in a protected environment and under constant supervision of the Guru. Please note that I am talking about techniques that force the kundalini; not the many valid techniques that are designed to produce balanced growth.

Unfortunately, we have seen a string of self-proclaimed gurus from India who have started to teach some of these techniques to anyone willing to learn—and in some cases pay the fee. This is a problem because it tricks people into attempting to take heaven by force. This is part of what I referred to in my statement:

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11;12)

Take a moment to consider the essential problem. The kundalini energy will naturally flow through your being—you do not have to do anything to force it to flow. If it has been shut off, it has been shut off through force. You have created blocks in your subconscious mind and in your energy field, specifically in the seven main energy centers, called chakras, and these blocks restrict the flow of life. So does it really make sense that you seek to use a technique that forces the kundalini to rise through the chakras?

The reality is that this makes no sense, because you are seeking to fight fire with fire. It was force that caused the natural flow of energy to be shut off. So the logical response is to remove the blocks that restrict the flow of energy, whereby it can again flow naturally. It is not logical to use force to reestablish the flow, and it should not be difficult to see why.

In a pure human being, where the river of life flows freely, the kundalini energy enters the heart chakra and then flows into the chakra that is located at the base of the spine. It then flows through all seven chakras until it reaches the crown chakra at the top of the head. When this flow is maintained, the person is in perfect balance and experiences the highest form of Christ consciousness. In this state, all of the chakras are balanced, aligned and they are spinning in the same direction.

When you begin to forcefully shut off or restrict the flow of light through the chakras, they become polluted by accumulations of negative energy. This will quickly cause the chakras to start spinning at different rates, so that they are no longer coordinated. It can even cause some of the chakras to be so blocked that they do not allow any light to flow through them. Or it can cause the chakras to spin in the opposite direction of normal, which the person experiences as extreme agitation. For example, many people have their base chakras spinning in the wrong direction, which causes them to have an insatiable desire for sex. Likewise, many people have the solar plexus chakra spinning in the wrong direction, which causes them to always be on edge and respond to many situations with irritability and anger.

What happens when an unbalanced person uses a technique to force the kundalini energy to rise through the unbalanced and blocked chakras? The kundalini is an aspect of the Holy Spirit, and it is designed to help you transcend limitations. Therefore, it will magnify anything it touches. When you force the kundalini to flow through your chakras, it will flush out and magnify all imperfections and imbalances in your chakras. This will surface in the form of thoughts and feelings that can be very intense.

In fact, many unbalanced people have used techniques to force the kundalini, only to find that their nervous systems and energy fields simply could not handle the flow of light. It is almost like sending 220 volts of electricity through an appliance designed for 110 volts. Obviously, the appliance will burn out, and many people have indeed burned out parts of their nervous systems and shattered their energy fields. This will lead to various forms of emotional disorders or even mental illness and insanity. I simply cannot stress enough how important it is to avoid forcing the kundalini energy to rise before you are ready for this.

What is the key to being ready? It is to purify your chakras and energy field until you attain a very high degree of balance and harmony. Balance and harmony truly are the keys to successful spiritual growth. These two qualities can be attained only through non-attachment, and when you are truly non-attached, you will not seek to take heaven by force.

One of the biggest problems with the exploding interest in personal and spiritual growth is that western culture is typically focused on results. In later decades this has led to an entire cult aimed at worshiping instant gratification. So when people have grown up in this culture and suddenly realize the need for spiritual growth, they often want instant and immediate results, often without making a sincere effort to gradually build a foundation for such results.

They simply want the outer phenomena, the peak experiences, the positive benefits of spiritual growth, without going through the process of earning those results. This has caused many western spiritual seekers to look for techniques that can most efficiently produce some kind of sensation or phenomenon. And many of them have been lured into using techniques that force the kundalini to rise. This can indeed be done, and it can have a very dramatic effect, but often with the results I just described.

What is the correct way to raise the kundalini energy? It is to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, whereby all else shall be added unto you. The kingdom of God is the Christ consciousness, and “righteousness” is the right use of energy, meaning a balanced and harmonious flow of energy through your being.

As I said, the nature of the kundalini energy is to flow. It only stops flowing through you because you blocked its flow. So if you strive for Christ consciousness, and as a logical consequence seek to remove all blocks and imbalances in your psychology and energy field, you will gradually open up for the flow of energy through your being. Thereby, the river of life will naturally start flowing through you, but this will not happen in an unbalanced manner.

It will happen in a balanced manner, and you will not experience a kundalini awakening until you are ready for it. In fact, if you truly go about this in a balanced manner, you will experience a steady, balanced growth instead of the violent spurts of intense spiritual experiences followed by equally intense depressions. Many unbalanced people have indeed experienced these extreme swings from highs to lows, and that is simply not the balanced path, the middle way, of the Christ and the Buddha.

So my point is that I do not advocate any spiritual seeker to focus their attention on seeking to deliberately and forcefully raise the kundalini energy. I do not advocate that people use techniques to forcefully raise the kundalini.

What techniques can you use instead? You can use all of the techniques we give on the toolbox website. Mother Mary’s rosaries and invocations are specifically designed to systematically remove the blocks in your energy field that prevent the free flow of the kundalini energy through your system. So are the decrees to the seven rays. As you use these tools, you will gradually feel the flow of life through you, but this will happen in a balanced and harmonious manner that will not damage the delicate nervous system or create holes in your energy field. Instead, you will truly be like the wise virgins who kept their lamps trimmed, who kept their chakras balanced, waiting for the bridegroom of the Christ self:

Question: Is it useful for a spiritual seeker to have one’s personal astrology done?

There are many mainstream Christians who reject astrology as being pagan or unchristian. This is somewhat unwise, given the fact that the three wise men used astrology to pinpoint the time and the approximate place of my birth. In other words, if the three wise men had adopted the same attitude as many orthodox Christians, they would not have been aware of my birth. It would be wise to consider that there are indeed important dates and turning points in the life of this planet and in people’s personal lives, and those dates are always marked by particular constellations of stars. My point is that it is unwise to completely ignore astrology.

On the other hand, I do understand that so many people reject the popular astrology that is rampant in tabloid magazines or even in some New Age circles. It is very easy to misuse astrology, especially when people begin to think that a configuration can be used to predict specific events or that the events predicted by astrology are set in stone. This has led to a widespread misuse of the science that astrology was meant to be. It has led to widespread fatalism and determinism that causes some people to accept that their astrology sets limitations for their lives. This is a complete misuse of astrology, because in reality nothing is set in stone.

Your personal astrology can point to the likelihood that certain events or challenges will happen in your life. Yet instead of seeing them as set in stone, you should see them as opportunities for spiritual growth. The real point of using astrology is to empower yourself to anticipate the growth opportunities that come up in your life, so that you can make the best possible use of them. The true spiritual astrology is never fatalistic or deterministic, and it never paralyzes people. Instead, it galvanizes people to use spiritual tools, such as the Violet Flame or Mother Mary’s rosaries, to consume the energies that are marked by a specific astrological configuration. This can help you avoid certain negative events or magnify certain positive events. In other words, the important point about astrology is not what is written in the stars but what you do with the portents in the stars.

Feng shui is based on a valid knowledge about energy

Question: I plan to build a new home, which I will need to organize and decorate. Would you please give your opinion and guidance on the feng shui way, such as using numerology, use of colors and placement of rooms? I have been reading a couple of books by Lillian Too, which are interesting, but some information seems to be superstitious, such as certain address numbers facing a particular direction bring “bad luck”. I would like my home to be well situated. I also know that invoking the Light is the highest protection, and perhaps that is the best way to proceed, instead of concerning myself with feng shui.

The western world has over the past centuries seen a spectacular success brought on by science and technology. A side effect of this success is that many people have developed a certain arrogance that makes them feel that anything which was not brought forth through modern scientific culture could not possibly be worthwhile. Some people feel that if a teaching is not expressed in scientific terms or cannot be confirmed by scientific experiments, then that teaching could not possibly be valid. Some people feel that anything developed before the rise of the scientific age could not possibly be valid. These viewpoints are shortsighted and somewhat arrogant.

It is a simple fact that the modern scientific culture has only existed for a very short period of time, and it has already created a number of problems that could threaten its long-term survival. In contrast, you have several civilizations, including the ancient Chinese civilization, which existed for millennia. This should cause people to ponder whether these long-lasting civilizations could possibly have brought forth something that was valid, even if it cannot yet be confirmed or understood by modern science.

As you know, 500 years ago many people though the earth was flat, yet the earth was as round then as it is today. It was barely a century ago that Albert Einstein discovered that everything is made from energy, yet the universe has been made from energy since its beginning. Many ancient civilizations had an intuitive knowledge of the fact that everything is made from energy, and consequently they understood that energy affects every part of life. For example, the ancient Chinese civilization developed several teachings about energy and the flow of energy. The most well-known examples are Tai Chi, acupuncture and feng shui.

What I am saying here is that feng shui is based on a valid knowledge about energy, the flow of energy and how it affects the human energy field and thereby human well-being. The spiritual teachings that formed the basis for feng shui were indeed given to people by the ascended masters, and they were valid teachings. They were simply expressed in the language of the time, a language that was by no means more primitive, but simply different from modern scientific language.

Unfortunately, as I explain throughout this website, what happens to most original spiritual teachings is that over time they are changed by people who do not fully understand the teachings. In many cases, the original intuitive link to the ascended masters is eventually broken, and from that point people begin to add interpretations based on the human intellect and often the dualistic mind. This often leads to later developments that can be far from, even in direct opposition to, the original spiritual teachings. Feng shui is no exception to this process, and neither is Christianity.

As you correctly point out, some of the teachings found in modern feng shui are clearly superstitious and contrary to common sense. It is indeed valid to consider feng shui in the modern world, but it would be highly beneficial to use your intuition and your Christ discernment.

Take note also that feng shui was never an exact science. It was never given to be turned into a mechanical process, as modern technology has been. Feng shui was always meant to be an intuitive teaching, which means that the outer teachings must be used only as guidelines that are interpreted intuitively and adapted to the individual person and the individual situation. That is why a good feng shui practitioner is not simply a technician but an intuitive person.

Your interest in the topic shows that you have already been given intuitive insights by your Christ self that feng shui is a valid and important teaching for you to incorporate in the design of your new house. What you need to do is to study the teachings on feng shui, or perhaps consult an experienced practitioner, and then, through the entire process, use your intuition and your Christ discernment, as you are already doing. Allow your Christ self to guide you to the teachings that are right for you, and ignore the ones that don’t make sense to you. When you are building a house and when you are involved with the design of that house, your house should be an expression of you and your current spiritual development. So don’t be afraid to use the feng shui principles as general guidelines and then interpret them according to your own Christ discernment.

As you point out, it is also important to invoke spiritual light throughout the entire process, and this certainly should not be neglected. Yet there is no reason you cannot combine the teachings on feng shui with invoking the light. This can give you a house that will be a support to your spiritual growth.

Yet let me caution that is important for people to stay balanced in all things. The most important part of your spiritual development is your inner contact with your Christ self. Outer things should be secondary to that inner contact, including a house or the food you eat. That is why I said that it is not what goes into a man’s mouth but what comes out of it that defiles him. That statement was meant to illustrate precisely the point I am bringing up here, namely that the outer things in the material world are always secondary compared to the inner things of your own psyche and your connection to your Christ self. So let feng shui be your servant, and don’t let it become your master.

Blessing your food

The physical aspect of a disease is not the cause of the disease but the symptoms of an underlying condition. So you cannot remove the cause of the disease by treating the body, whether you do this through medicine or food. What you can do is to alleviate the symptoms and reduce the severity of the symptoms. Obviously, proper diet is an important part of doing this, and your idea of charging your food which spiritual energy is certainly valid and useful. In that respect, I would suggest the following as one among many possible ways to bless your food:

In the name of Jesus Christ, I consecrate this food as the body and blood of Christ.
I consecrate my body and mind as the chalice of the Living Christ.
I consecrate my lifestream as the bride of Christ, and I accept it done this hour with full power. Amen.

or you might say:

I AM the Holy Spirit transforming this food into perfect nutrition.

I AM the Holy Spirit transforming every cell and atom of my body into perfect health.

Is muscle testing a valid tool?

Question: How accurate is muscle testing in general? Will it ever be accurate enough to rely on? Should I use it?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels:

When you perform muscle testing, you are essentially making a measurement, much like a scientist who is measuring a subatomic particle. As you know from quantum physics, any measurement made by scientists is a product of three factors, and one of them is the consciousness of the scientist.

When you perform muscle testing, you have an interaction between the consciousness of the person being tested and the consciousness of the person performing the test. That is why there is no such thing as a completely accurate muscle test. However, this also holds true for any other kind of test, including what many scientists call objective experimentation.

One could take this into an extreme viewpoint and say that muscle testing is therefore useless. However, this is not a completely accurate reaction. Nevertheless, I must also caution about going into the other extreme and thinking that muscle testing is always accurate. The truth is found somewhere in the middle.

In Save Yourself I give detailed teachings about why spiritual or intuitive visions can be very different, and I will not go into detail here. The bottom line is this that muscle testing, or any other procedure like it, will be influenced by the consciousness of both people involved. The question then is how great this influence is, or rather whether it is so great an influence that the muscle testing becomes invalid.

That answer can be given only on an individual basis. It has a lot to do with the purity of motive of both of the people involved. If the person seeking answers through muscle testing is attached to a certain type of answer, then that will affect the outcome. If the person performing the muscle testing is attached to a certain type of answer, that too will affect the outcome.

There are many examples of people who have engaged in muscle testing and received completely unreliable results that were simply a reflection of these people’s subconscious minds and desires. However there are also many examples of people who have used this technique to gain valid answers. I sense that your question will be, ”Well, how can I determine what is valid and what is not?” The answer is to build a relationship with your Christ self and thereby achieve inner discernment. I know this is not a cut and dry answer, but it is the only answer there is.

When a person begins to recognize the spiritual side of life, the person realizes that there is more to understand about life than what you can receive through outer, intellectual knowledge. However, the person has not yet built a strong enough relationship to the Christ self to always get accurate and complete answers from within. In this interim stage, it is natural that the soul will seek some help and guidance from outer sources.

What is really happening here is that the lifestream’s outer mind, or lower mind, is interfering with or blocking the insights that the lifestream receives from the Christ self. So what the lifestream needs is some source outside its lower mind that can give it answers that are not influenced by that lower mind. One might say that the lifestream needs a way to bypass the subjective lower mind and get more objective directions.

If you find a practitioner who has achieved a higher level of Christhood than yourself and who is completely non-attached to the answers, then muscle testing can be used as a viable technique for bypassing the lower mind. Yet you will always face the risk that if you are strongly attached to a particular answer, or if you are strongly opposed to a particular answer, then you will influence the muscle testing.

So my guideline here would be to recognize muscle testing as a valid, but not infallible, tool. You should engage in an effort to create the right conditions for the muscle testing by raising your own consciousness and by working on overcoming attachments. Yet at the same time you should recognize the limitations of muscle testing.

Because muscle testing involves the body, it is best suited for answers that relate to the body. However, skilled practitioners can use muscle testing for other topics, such as emotional and psychological issues. You must recognize that there are certain questions that you should not ask through muscle testing because it will not give reliable results. This is especially true for questions about what to do in life. The spiritual path is about helping you master your free will and make better decisions. So if you use a tool, such as muscle testing, in an attempt to avoid making your own decisions, you are jeopardizing your spiritual growth.

An important consideration is the fact that muscle testing gives you only “yes” and “no” answers. When you formulate a question in such a way that it can be answered by a yes or no, you will have certain limitations on the type of questions you can ask. You also run the risk that the wording of the question can have a huge influence upon the answer.

In general, muscle testing is not suited to asking philosophical questions or even questions about the big decisions in your life. These are the questions you must answer from an inner source namely from your Christ self.

In a nutshell, feel free to experiment with muscle testing if you want to but see it as a tool with certain limitations. Be aware that any tool can become a set of crutches. If you rely too much on the tool, it will hold you back and restrict you instead of setting you free. What I am basically saying here is that you should not allow any tool to become a substitute for Christ consciousness.

In the end, the reliable answers are the ones you get directly from your Christ self. If muscle testing helps you get such answers or clarify your intuitive answers, then by all means use it. If muscle testing becomes a crutch that influences or distorts the answers, then it no longer serves a viable purpose.

You should be especially careful not to become codependent upon a tool so that you become afraid to make decisions without using the tool. You simply cannot grow spiritually if you make all of your decisions based on muscle testing or any other tool.

Only one spiritual teaching and technique?

Question: Some teachers say that in order to get the most out of the practice, it is best not to mix it with any other spiritual practices or religions. In other words, they are suggesting that the practitioners are totally devoted to only one teaching to the exclusion of the study or practice of anything else, if they want to achieve their highest spiritual potential. What is your comment on this?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels:

There are situations in which it can be beneficial for students to focus all attention on one teaching or one spiritual technique. However, this is mostly true in situations where students are working directly with a spiritual teacher or are participating in an intensive course in a spiritual retreat setting.

For the general public, I would not recommend that people focus on one particular technique or practice. The selection of a spiritual technique is a highly individual matter. Unless a person has direct interaction with a spiritual teacher, a person should decide such matters through direct contact with his or her Christ self.

Furthermore, it is extremely important not to become rigid in one’s application of a technique or the study of a spiritual teaching. Everyone will go through certain phases on their personal path. What works at one stage of the path might not work at the next stage. One of the greatest hindrances on the spiritual path is that students become attached to a particular practice or teaching. They fall into the trap of accepting the dream of an automatic salvation. They think that if only they keep practicing this particular technique or believing this particular doctrine for the rest of their lives, they will automatically be saved.

I highly recommend that any sincere student makes an all-out effort to establish communion with his or her Christ self. Never allow any outside factor to make you ignore or set aside what comes to you from your higher self. Remain open to any instructions you get from within and follow those instructions.

It is important to recognize that at a certain stage of the path you might not get a clear and direct communication from your Christ self. Instead, you will get the intuitive sense that something you read or hear is true and applies to you. In other words, your inner communion takes the form of a confirmation that what comes to you from without is correct.

Consequently, if you confine your studies to one particular teaching, you prevent your Christ self from telling you if and when it is time to move on.
For this reason, I highly recommend that people keep an open mind and study a variety of spiritual teachings. I am not saying that people cannot study a particular teaching or practice a particular technique for a lifetime. I am simply saying that exclusivity has the potential of limiting the communication from your Christ self, and this will then limit your spiritual progress.

Different ways to worship, depending on the level of consciousness

Question: Dear Master Jesus: Please forgive me for continually bothering you with so many questions, it is just that I trust you to tell me the truth, and I do so want to know truth so that I can please God by seeking my higher self and my Christ consciousness.

My question is, since we aren’t to look on you as an actual idol like the orthodox Christian church has made you out to be, is it correct to worship you by saying things like “Praise Jesus” when also saying Praise God, since you, in true actuality, are a son of God not THE son of God, but a son of God who has achieved the Christ consciousness.
If the answer is yes, that it’s appropriate to praise you, then by the same token, should we also praise Mother Mary, Saint Germain, and what about your lifestream mate, Mary Magdalene, and any others; in other words who exactly should we be praising in church, our prayers, quiet time with you, and devotion time, etc?

My beloved heart, there is nothing to forgive, and indeed there is no reason to ask for forgiveness. If I was bothered by people’s questions, why would I have set up this website? I am a spiritual teacher, and I will never be bothered by questions that spring from a pure heart and a sincere desire to know.

I am asking you to consider that there is a reason you fear that you could bother me with your questions. And that reason is that you have been brought up to see me as an idol who is so far above and beyond you that you cannot approach me and relate to me as you relate to a good friend. One of my desires for my website is to help people overcome not only the idolatry but also the sense that I am so far above and beyond them that they cannot relate to me.

Therefore, I am asking whether you are willing to let go of this sense of idolatry or distance between you and I? If you are willing to let go, please take a few moments to center in your heart and visualize that you take your fears, your sense of separation from me and your idolatry of me and cram them into a small ball. Then visualize that I am standing in front of you and my sacred Heart is a blazing fire that consumes all unlike itself. Now decide that you are willing to give up this ball of imperfect thoughts and feelings, and then toss the ball into the flame of my heart, where it will be instantly consumed.

Incidentally, you can use this visualization to get rid of all negative thoughts and feelings. The key is that you must be ready and willing to let go of them, or the fire of my sacred heart cannot consume them.

Concerning worship, let me say that this question does not have a simple or single answer. It would be helpful for you to read my discourse on the levels of spiritual development. You will see that there are different levels of consciousness and each level is based on a certain view of God. Therefore, people at that level of consciousness face a particular challenge in terms of working out their relationship to God. This has a profound impact on how people can or should worship. If you look at the levels of development, you will see that at every level people are working on resolving their relationship to God. However, if you step back and look at the big picture, you will see that what is truly happening is that people are moving away from having their relationship to God dominated by fear and moving toward having a relationship to God that is based on love.

The lowest level of spiritual development is represented by people whose relationship to God is entirely based on fear and separation. As you move higher, you move into stages of consciousness at which people’s relationship to God becomes increasingly the product of love. The importance here is that while people are trapped at the lower levels of spiritual awareness, they simply will not be able to worship God in a way that is based on love. Therefore, they will gravitate toward forms of worship that are based on fear.

For example, for some wounded lifestreams it can be necessary to spend some time in a traditional form of worship, even though it is based on fear. The reason being that such lifestreams have a need for stability in order to heal their wounds. That is why some orthodox or fundamentalist Christians cling to their religion with such tenacity. These lifestreams have such a strong need for outer security, that they cannot yet move into a more love-based form of worship. However, I must also say that there are many lifestreams who are ready to move on from a fundamentalist religion but have not yet consciously recognized that they no longer belong in such a religion. Many such lifestreams are severely limiting their spiritual progress by holding on to a fear-based form of worship.

When you fear God, you see God as being separated from yourself. Therefore, you see God as being above and beyond you, like one of the earthly kings or emperors that you have seen either personally or in history. In reality, most earthly rulers have been fear-based individuals, and that is why they attempted to set themselves up with absolute power that allowed them to rule the population through fear. Many secular rulers have based their power on military might and the threat that they would kill people who did not obey them. Many religious rulers have based their power on the fear of God and the threat that those who did not obey would burn forever in hell. Sadly, this even applies to the Christian religion, which claims to represent me on earth. Yet did I not say to love God with all your heart mind and lifestream [Mark 12:30]? And so how can you love God if you fear God and want everyone else to fear you?

So you see that many, if not most, of the forms of worship known on this planet are based on fear. They portray God as being some remote deity which has a need to be praised and worshiped by human beings. This, of course, is a misunderstanding of God’s nature and being, and this misunderstanding springs from the sense of separation from God. Because of this sense of separation, you lose contact with the reality of God and you begin to build a false image of God, an idol which is based on the relativity of the dualistic mind.

As you move out of fear, your relationship to God begins to be anchored in love. As you begin to love God, you realize that God is a completely self-sufficient, self-contained being. Therefore, God has no human needs and God certainly has no need to be praised or worshiped by human beings. How could an all-powerful God, who created an immensely vast universe, possibly have the need to be worshiped by human beings living on a planet that is like a speck of dust in infinity? I am not saying this to in any way degrade human beings. I am saying it to give a certain sense of co-measurement that God has absolutely no need to be worshiped. God is all, and therefore God is complete in and of itself.

However, God has a desire to experience his creation through human beings and God has a desire to create certain parts of creation through you—by you becoming the co-creator with God that you were created to be. However, for this to happen you need to move out of the fear-based sense of separation from God and into a love-based sense of being a worthy son or daughter of God.

If you read between the lines in the New Testament, you will see that I did indeed come to bring a love-based approach to religion as a replacement for the fear-based approach of the Jews. This is explained in the book The Secret Coming of Christ. If you were to take a look a church history, you would see that orthodox Christianity has indeed obscured and perverted this love-based approach and turned Christianity into a fear-based religion.

So the real issue here is whether your worship of God brings you closer to union with God or cements you in the sense of separation from God? One might say you do not worship God for God’s sake; you worship God for your own sake. You are not worshiping God because God has a need to be worshiped; your are worshiping because by doing so correctly you overcome all sense of separation from God and come closer to God. However for this to happen your worship must be love-based instead of fear-based.

If you follow this line of reasoning, you will see that the outer form of worship is not nearly as important as the effect it has on the person. In other words, if a particular form of worship opens your heart and brings you closer to God, or to an Ascended being such as myself, then that form of worship has a positive effect on you. On the other hand, another person might engage in the same form of worship and it will either be a rote repetition or it will cement the person in the idolatrous sense of being separated from God and being afraid of God.

What I am saying here is that I am not overly concerned about the outer form of worship. The real question is, “Does it open your heart to God or close your heart to God?” There are indeed some Christians who go to church every Sunday and engage in various forms of worship that truly spring from a fear-based approach to religion. Yet these people engage in it with such pure devotion that it opens their hearts to the love of God or to my love. If people worship with an open heart that allows God’s love or my love to flow through them, then that is an appropriate form of worship. Yet if people come to church with fear or resentment toward God or toward me and say the exact same words, then that form of worship will do nothing for them. Therefore, it would be better for them either to refrain from all worship or to find another form of worship.

That being said, I truly would prefer that all people would leave behind the many forms of worship that spring from a fear-based approach to religion and engage in forms of worship that are based on love and have been designed from the beginning to bring them closer to God by opening their hearts to God.

As just one example, the phrases “Praise God” or “Praise Jesus” represent a fear-based form of worship. Neither God nor I have any need to be praised. A much more appropriate form of worship would be to say “Thank you God” or “Thank you Jesus” and thereby pour out your heart’s gratitude for the opportunity for growth that life truly is. You could also say “Love be to God” or “Love be to Jesus” and then envision that you send us love. Even better would be to say “I accept God” or “I welcome Jesus into my being.” In fact, I would much prefer that people said “Welcome Jesus” or “Jesus, I accept you into my being” or “Jesus, I accept your unconditional love for me and I accept that I am worthy of your love.” There is an almost infinite number of such statements that could be made, statements that would affirm love and union with God or with me.

I do not want to put limitations on how people should worship, and I have no desire to give a formal set of statements for worship because it is so easy for people to turn them into an exclusivist doctrine. Therefore, I would like to leave it up to people to find or define the kind of statements that help them open their hearts to God. People should also be open to the fact that as they grow on the path, they will find new ways to express their love for God.

Let me also say that if you will read the New Testament honestly, you will see that I often chastised those who made a spectacle out of their worship, those who prayed in public and wanted others to admire them for being so devoted to God. What really matters is that your form of worship opens your heart to God, and how can you open your heart to God if you are concerned about how you are perceived by your fellow men? You open your heart to God by directing your attention inward and putting your attention on God instead of the things of this world. So truly, the best form of worship is a private form of worship that gives you a sense of being connected to God or connected to me.

I would therefore recommend the Christhood affirmations given in the book The Christ Is Born in You or the exercise for inner attunement. Also, the decrees given on our website and most especially the rosaries and invocations by my beloved mother are truly efficient forms of worship in terms of opening your heart to God.

You ask if it is appropriate to worship me or other other ascended masters. In reality, we have no need to be worshiped, and it is not appropriate to worship us the same way you worship God. This is truly the reason for my statement, “And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God.” [Mark 10:18]. Many Christians, by worshiping me from a fear-based state of consciousness and with a sense of separation from me and from God, are actually engaging in idol worship. However, as I said earlier, some people can say “Praise Jesus” with such an open and pure heart that it is not idolatry.

So the essence here is that the true purpose of worship is to establish a connection between you and God or an ascended master. There is no competition in heaven, and therefore it is fully appropriate to seek to establish a connection between yourself and any ascended master who is close to your heart. For example, many people have been so disappointed or wounded by orthodox Christianity that they will find it easier to open their hearts to another ascended master than myself. This is perfectly acceptable to me, and people should not feel any kind of misguided loyalty or sense of obligation toward me.

Many people have, in past lives, established a very strong heart tie to a particular ascended master other than myself. For example, many Catholics have a strong heart tie to Mother Mary. Likewise, many people embodied in today’s age have a strong tie to Saint Germain, and they embodied at this time precisely to help bring in his Golden Age of Aquarius. There are also other ascended masters who have sent their best students into embodiment at this time to help facilitate the crucial changes that are meant to occur in this age.

So once again, the outer form of worship is insignificant compared to the inner result of opening your heart and establishing a true connection between yourself and the object of worship. The ultimate form of worship is union with, oneness with, the object of worship. This can be seen when you understand that the original sin is a sense of separation from God.

The only way to be completely free of sin is to overcome the sense a separation from God. And the only way to overcome the sense of separation is to remove the distance between yourself and God. Because God is all and in all, there never was any real separation or distance between you and God. There was only an illusion of separation, and that illusion exists only in your mind. Remember my statement, “Ye are Gods.” The ultimate way to worship God in this world is to BE God in this world.

Falun Gong or Qi Gong

The practice of Qi Gong is an ancient practice which, if done correctly, can have many beneficial effects. However, this does not mean that I recommend this practice to all students. The selection of a spiritual technique is an individual matter and should be decided by intuitive insight. That is why I have given a technique for attaining such inner attunement.

I would like to point out that many of the spiritual techniques that were developed in the East are not necessarily suited for people who are born in the West. Please do not interpret this statement by taking it into the extreme. I am not saying that no westerner should practice meditation or yoga from the East. I am simply recommending that people from the West take a careful look at the spiritual techniques that have been released in the western world. We of the ascended master have released a variety of techniques adapted to the body types and the psychological characteristics of people in the West.

The value of Spikenard oil

Spikenard, although mentioned in the Bible, does not have any particular resonance with my personal vibration or with the vibration of my beloved Magda, who was embodied as Mary Magdalene. Nevertheless, it is one of the oils that can be used for meditative purposes.

What I would like to say to the people reading this website is that while the use of essential oils is a valid practice, you can achieve far greater attunement to me, to Mary Magdalene and to your Christ self by using the tools we give, specifically the tool for attunement to the Christ within. So if you are open to the teachings on this website, I would advise you to use the tools given here because they will have a more powerful effect for your level of consciousness.

Vow of silence

In my discourse on the levels of spiritual evolution I explain that a number of lifestreams on this planet have attained a high degree of spiritual mastery. I also explain that it is difficult to set an outer standard for how such masters should be acting. Such lifestreams will fulfill the needs of the hour, and they might sometimes have to do things that seem extreme based on normal behavior.

The reason so many spiritual masters take a vow of silence is that they have taken on the role of holding the spiritual balance for humankind and the earth. Speaking is an outgoing activity, and it causes your energies to flow outward. Therefore, if you want to maintain the highest possible degree of inner concentration, it is highly beneficial for you to refrain from speaking. There are indeed advanced lifestreams who never speak to anyone. One might think that this does little to raise the consciousness of humankind, but the opposite is true.

You will recall my statement, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me” [John 12:32]. The basic fact of life is that all human beings are connected at deeper levels of consciousness. Therefore, when some people in physical embodiment raise their consciousness to a very high level, they will pull up the consciousness of the rest of humanity. However, until the rest of humanity are able to maintain a certain level of Christ consciousness, it is necessary for these advanced lifestreams to constantly maintain their level of consciousness. If they were to lose their state of concentration, the magnetic pull on the rest of humanity would lessen, and therefore people would instantly start sliding into a lower state of consciousness. That is why such lifestreams do not speak to or interact with other people.

Obviously, not all advanced lifestreams are meant to take this approach. Some of them hold the balance in many other ways, and some of them do indeed serve as teachers who give spiritual teachings whenever they are given an opportunity.

One of the functions of the advanced lifestreams is to show other human beings that it is possible to overcome the limitations that most people accept. In other words, certain advanced lifestreams choose to live their lives in such a way that they demonstrate that there is a different way to live than what is accepted by most people. Walking around and hugging everyone is just one way of doing this, as is allowing people to nail you to a cross and then conquering death.

Martial arts and spiritual growth

Question: I have a question about martial arts. Is it all right to study martial arts. not to go out and kill somebody but to defend oneself and channel your Chi. i was wondering while you were in the far east. did you study martial arts, you probably didn’t but maybe you were with monks who did, example shaolin monks. I was wondering if Kung Fu and Tai Ch’i Ch’uan were an acceptable use of God’s energy.

There is much truth and much of value to be found in several forms of martial arts. Many people have indeed been able to find the universal spiritual path by using martial arts as an on ramp to the path that transcends all outer labels and divisions, including the need for self-defense, the mastery of the physical body or even the mastery of Chi itself.

As in any field on earth, it is possible to pervert the martial arts. You do indeed see this both in the East and in the West. This occurs especially for two reasons. One is that martial arts becomes overly focused on the need for self-defense. If your approach to martial arts springs from fear, then practicing martial arts can actually reinforce the fear, and this can eventually lead to paranoia.

Some people have indeed channeled their Chi in the wrong direction and have thereby become paranoid, thinking that someone is out to get them. This can indeed lead them to take self-defense to the extreme, making them think that it is necessary and justified for them to learn how to kill someone by using martial arts techniques. In truth, martial arts was never meant to be lethal. It is precisely given in order to help people defend themselves in a non-lethal way, and it was extremely effective before the advent of firearms, which allows the killing from a distance.

I strongly recommend that people avoid any martial arts which teaches you how to kill another human being. Some teachers have taken the original teachings of martial arts and perverted them by going into the extreme. Such a teacher is often driven by fear, and the student will find it difficult to rise above the consciousness of the teacher.

The other reason that martial arts can be perverted is pride. This is something that occurs more frequently in the West than in the East, although it certainly does occur in the East. In the West, people are often caught up in the spirit of vain competition, and suddenly martial arts becomes a way to compete with others and to seek to establish your superiority over them. This can channel the Chi in the wrong direction, so that it magnifies the negative aspects of a person’s consciousness, in this case pride and arrogance. Many martial arts practitioners have fallen prey to this subtle temptation and end up using the pure energies of God to magnify the vainglory of the human ego. This simply is not the real purpose behind the true forms of martial arts.

If you trace any martial arts movement back to its origin, you will see that self-defense was never the real purpose of martial arts. It was simply a practical aspect of martial arts, born of more primitive and violent times. Yet the real goal was spiritual growth by mastering the energies of the material world and channeling spiritual energy through the mind and body. The true goal of martial arts was never the perfection of the body but to make the body the humble and obedient servant of the mind. This then should be the true goal of any approach to martial arts.

In today’s world, there are many people who are not yet ready to embrace the spiritual path through a teaching that is openly spiritual. For many such people, especially for many young people, martial arts can be a viable on ramp which can lead them to discover the true spiritual path later in life. Of course, this can only happen when people do not get caught up in the two extremes of fear and pride.

I did study many eastern teachings during my travels in the East, yet I focused on the openly spiritual teachings and did not study martial arts.

How students can be so attached to a human label that it blocks their relationship with a spiritual teacher

I am homosexual – at least in this lifetime that has been my sexual orientation. I did not choose this orientation consciously – from my earliest age I have been attracted sexually to my own gender and it feels a true part of who I am, my sexual identity. Your teachings at askrealJesus are usually very loving but when you speak on homosexuality (and your contention it is not of God’s making nor God’s liking) you seem very stern, not very loving.
You mentioned that when an Ascended Being disseminates information through a non-Ascended Being, such as the person you give your information through, the information is not always correct. You cautioned us not to believe everything that comes through a channel, even yours. Is it possible that your information about homosexuality is not correct? That homosexuality is not unnatural and unGodly, as you have purported, but that your information may be a prejudice on behalf of your channel?
I have to say, sadly in my heart, that I find so much of your teachings to ring true but when it comes to those on homosexuality (and your lack of compassion thereof) my heart gets so heavy. You seem to have so much caring for people going through most human situations but when it comes those of us who are gay you seem to have little kindness except to say we are out of balance and it’s against God’s will and we need to leave it behind. You have used words like perversion and said that gay people should only be permitted to express their love behind closed doors – these are terms people use to justify hatred and discrimination against gay people.
On a conscious level the gay people I know (including myself) did not choose to be gay – we only know that this is how we love and we don’t mean to harm anyone. What are gay people supposed to do? Live alone in loveless lives because being gay is against God’s will? As you doubtless know, many people have prayed to you to have their homosexuality taken away, or have gone to ‘conversion’ therapy with no avail. Could it be on this topic you are mistaken? I am asking these questions with all due respect and love in my heart for you Jesus, whom I feel close to.

My beloved brother, I honor you for writing and bringing your concerns out in the open. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment on a topic that has a wide-ranging consequences for how anyone, not just homosexuals, respond to this website. Your letter raises many issues, but let me attempt to focus on the most important ones. To get started, let us look at your words:

These words raise an issue that is essential for a large percentage of the people who find this website. Your words reveal that you have recognized that there is truth on this website. Your words also reveal that you have found some teachings on this website that you cannot currently accept. I can assure you that you are not alone in this experience. Obviously, this is not confined to the topic of homosexuality but to a wide range of topics. The question now becomes how you deal with this situation?

As a beginning, let me ask you to consider the situation from my perspective. I have asked a person to create this website for the specific purpose of bringing forth spiritual teachings that can help people attain a higher understanding. The ultimate goal is to inspire people to anchor themselves on the spiritual path that will gradually lead them to the full Christ consciousness that I demonstrated 2,000 years ago.

As I explain throughout this website, most people on this planet are trapped in a lower state of consciousness in which many of their beliefs and viewpoints are affected or dominated by relative ideas that spring from the dualistic mind. In other words, most people have been brought up with a set of beliefs and ideas that are out of alignment with the truth and the reality of God. This has caused most people to build a sense of identity as being limited, mortal human beings. This sense of identity is out of alignment with the reality of God, namely that every lifestream is a spiritual being with the potential to win immortal life through the Christ consciousness.

My role as a spiritual teacher, and indeed the purpose for this website, is to help people go through a transformation in consciousness. This is first and foremost a transformation of people’s sense of identity, so that they grow out of the limited sense of identity as being mortal human beings and gradually come to accept a new sense of identity as being immortal spiritual beings. This then is the goal. Everything on this website is designed to help the greatest possible number of people attain that growth, that transformation of identity.

Please take note of the basic mechanism involved. To attain a true sense of identity, you must let go of the limited sense of identity you currently have. This means that you must let go of the ideas and beliefs that make up your limited sense of identity. How can I help you change your sense of identity? I must help you see beyond the limited beliefs that make up your current sense of identity. To do that, I must speak the truth, even if it is in opposition to your current beliefs.

I cannot help you build a true sense of identity by affirming beliefs that are out of alignment with the truth and the reality of God. This simply is not possible. If you are to become a Christed being, you must let go of every aspect of your sense of identity that is out of alignment with the truth of God. There are no exceptions to this. It is not possible to take a false belief with you into the kingdom of heaven. That is why I said that he who is willing to lose his life – meaning his mortal sense of identity – for my sake – for the sake of attaining Christ consciousness – shall find it, meaning that he or she shall find immortal life in the Christ consciousness.

I now ask you to consider that this website is available to every human being on this planet with access to a computer. If you take a quick look at humanity, it should not be difficult to see that people are at many different levels of consciousness. Therefore, many of the people who find this website do not have the same background or the same beliefs that you have. My point is that this website was not made specifically for you or for people who share your background and your beliefs. I am attempting to reach out to the greatest possible number of people, and I am simply asking you to respect the fact that in order to reach the greatest number of people I cannot tailor the teachings on this website to your personal beliefs or what makes you feel comfortable.

Do you see my point? I am not asking you to agree with everything on this website. I am asking you to respect the fact that what might seem uncomfortable or offensive to you could still be at teaching that will help another lifestream let go of an illusion and rise to a higher level on the spiritual path. Should I abstain from helping that other lifestream in order to avoid making you feel uncomfortable, or are you willing to let me speak the truth that will help another, even if it does make you feel uncomfortable?

Now let me take this to another level. It should not be difficult to see that I seek to inspire people to anchor themselves on the spiritual path that leads you from your current state of consciousness to the Christ consciousness. I consistently portray this as a gradual path that consists of many stages and many individual steps. This is most clearly expressed in my discourse on the levels of spiritual development.

The people who find this website are at different levels of the spiritual path. Right now, you are at a particular level on your personal path. You are facing certain tests, certain initiations, and to pass them you need a certain spiritual teaching. Once you go beyond this level, you will face other tests and other initiations and you will need a higher teaching. This is compatible to what you see in the educational systems of the world. You do not teach advanced algebra to students in kindergarten. You take a gradual approach, and my point is that a kindergarten student is not ready to deal with the knowledge that will be released at the college level.

On this website I am trying to release teachings for a broad range of students. I realize that there are many people in the world, especially many orthodox Christians, who will not be able to accept the basic idea of this website or many of the individual teachings found on it. They are simply not at a level of their personal path where I can reach them through this website. I also realize that there are certain students that have passed beyond the teachings I am releasing on this website. So I am not trying to reach everyone, but I am trying to reach a relatively broad spectrum. My point is that there are certain teachings on this website that some people might not be ready for. The consequence is that many people find some teachings that ring true in their hearts but they find other teachings that they simply cannot deal with at their current level of consciousness. So once again, how do you handle that situation?

The most immature response is that people take the one teaching that they cannot deal with and use it as an excuse for rejecting everything else found on this website. Many orthodox Christians, especially fundamentalist Christians, immediately fall into this pattern when they find this website. A much more mature response is to realize that at your current level of the spiritual path, you don’t have to deal with that particular teaching. In other words, you don’t need to make a decision with your outer mind concerning whether you should accept or reject the teaching. Instead, you can decide not to make a decision about the teaching. You can put it on the shelf and continue to walk your personal path until at some future time you feel an inner prompting to take the teaching off the shelf.

This is a perfectly legitimate approach. You simply recognize the fact that the spiritual path is a gradual process and that there are ideas that you don’t need to deal with at your current level. So you put them on the shelf until some future time when you are ready. While this is a valid approach, it is only legitimate up to a point. You need to be aware that there is a fine line between putting something on the shelf and going into denial about the necessity to consider the teaching.

In other words, if you are in the third grade, you can go into the school library and find a book on math for the senior year of high school. Obviously, you are not ready to read that book. Nevertheless, if you get to senior year of high school and still refuse to read the book, then you will limit your education and possibly flunk the exam.

Let me now return to your words. You say that you have found many teachings on this website that ring true in your heart. I encourage you to continue to study the teachings that you can deal with. If you cannot currently deal with my teachings on homosexuality, then it might be legitimate for you to put them aside for now. Yet be aware of the fact that at some point in the future you will need to consider them again. In the meantime, let me recommend that you read a book entitled Putting on the Mind of Christ, written by Jim Marion. He deals with the topic of homosexuality in a way that might be helpful to you. I am not saying that his conclusions represent the final word on this topic. I am saying they might help you to move toward a greater understanding.

Let me also mention that this website is meant to inspire people to close the circle and enter into a more direct relationship with me as their spiritual teacher. This is an inner relationship, where you work with me independently of this website. Yet the main requirement for entering this personal relationship is that you must come to a point where you are willing to consider my teachings even if they go beyond or contradict your current beliefs. If you are not willing to let me challenge your current beliefs, you are not ready for this closer relationship.

Please don’t misunderstand this. It is perfectly acceptable for you to come to this website and “cherry-pick,” meaning that you study the teachings that appeal to you and ignore others. Yet if you desire a closer personal relationship with me, you must be willing to let me challenge any of your current beliefs. I am not hereby saying that you have to let go of all of your current beliefs (at least not at once). I am saying you must be willing to let go of any of those beliefs as you get direction from within. If you have a belief that you are not willing to have challenged, then you are simply not ready for this personal relationship with me. I will then patiently wait until you are ready, but be aware that no lifestream has forever to come home.

Let me now comment on some of your other remarks.

I recommend that you talk to some psychologists, social workers or other therapists. Most of these people have, through their daily work, realized the fundamental difference between enabling people and empowering people. When you enable people, you are not challenging them or making them feel uncomfortable. You are basically giving them human sympathy which makes them feel justified in remaining in their current situation and state of consciousness. In other words, you are giving them an excuse for not changing. When you empower people, you might have to be somewhat stern in order to challenge their current beliefs and make them see the need for change. Yet this is often the only way to help people grow. In other words, if you give people the slightest excuse for not growing, many of them will take it.

If you will read my answer to the question raised by a person who had an abortion, you might realize a profound truth. This person has clearly seen that her previous decision was not the highest possible. She has clearly admitted her mistake and has made the choice to leave it behind. Therefore, I can express great love toward her without running the risk that she will misinterpret my love and use it as an excuse for not changing.

Once again, my goal for this website is to help lifestreams grow. In order to help you grow, I must help you abandon your incorrect or incomplete beliefs. If you feel emotionally attached to some of those beliefs, then I might have to challenge your beliefs even if it makes you feel uncomfortable. My goal for this website is not to make you feel comfortable. My goal is to help you grow. If this requires me to challenge your beliefs and make you feel uncomfortable, then I am perfectly willing to do that, as I was perfectly willing to challenge the scribes and the Pharisees 2,000 years ago.

So I will be stern on this topic until you reach the conclusion that you are willing to grow beyond your current sense of identity. However, I think an honest evaluation will show that I am often stern and that my sternness is not limited to or targeted at homosexuals.

I cautioned you not to believe everything that comes through any source outside yourself—outside your Christ self. However, your own dualistic mind, your own ego, is also a source that is outside of your Christ self.

Have you made the effort to attain contact with your Christ self and have you asked your Christ self to give you the truth about homosexuality? Have you asked this question with an open mind and heart and a willingness to accept any answer that might come to you? If you have not asked the question, then ask yourself why! If you have not asked the question with a willingness to accept any answer, instead of a desire to have the confirmation of what your outer mind wants to believe, then ask yourself why!

Let me state this very clearly. If you are reluctant to ask a question, or if you ask a question but want a specific answer, it demonstrates that you have an emotional attachment to the topic. That attachment will inevitably slow down your spiritual growth. The path is a process of gradually overcoming all such attachments until you are completely open to the truth of God. There can be only one reason for such an attachment. The reason is that you are not currently willing or ready to hear the truth about this matter. Therefore, you simply want to hear only what confirms your outer beliefs.

It is always legitimate to consider the validity of any channel or messenger. One of the considerations should be whether the messenger has an emotional attachment or bias concerning a particular topic. I completely agree with you that if Kim had a bias or emotional attachment concerning homosexuality, it would be quite possible that a message he received on that topic could be colored by his bias.

However, I must tell you in all fairness that he has no such bias. I am using him as a messenger precisely because he has been willing to let go of all of his emotional biases, and for the past 25 years he has shown a consistent commitment to letting go of his preconceived opinions and always reach for a higher understanding. If you would decide to adopt that same approach to life, you would see that your current attitude to and beliefs about homosexuality would be greatly expanded. This would not be something that was forced upon you from without; it would come from within yourself, from within in your Christ self.

In the New Testament I have a parable about those who see the mote in the eyes of another and do not see the beam in their own eye. So when you look at my messenger, it is legitimate to consider whether he has a particular bias concerning homosexuality. Yet you should be willing to look in the mirror and consider whether you have a bias concerning homosexuality. In other words, are you willing to consider that it might be your bias concerning homosexuality that makes you feel that my remarks about the topic are unloving? Could it be your bias that makes you doubt that my messenger received a correct message?

I would also ask you to give me a little bit of credit as a spiritual teacher. I am quite aware of the potential that a messenger can color the message. Therefore, if I knew that Kim was biased concerning homosexuality, I simply would not use him as a messenger on that topic. I inspired him to ask me questions about this topic because I wanted to comment on it. And I knew I could give a teaching through him that would not be affected by any particular bias on his part.

I would also ask you to consider why God made human bodies of two different sexes? He obviously did so because he wants humanity to survive, and that means people must be able to produce offspring. The key to the survival of any species is to produce offspring, and it is a fact of life that offspring can be produced only through a heterosexual union. Is it really that difficult to see that since a homosexual union cannot produce offspring, it cannot be completely natural?

“You seem to have so much caring for people going through most human situations but when it comes those of us who are gay you seem to have little kindness except to say we are out of balance and it’s against God’s will and we need to leave it behind.”

If you will read the original discussion on homosexuality, and try to read it without any particular bias, you might discover that I am actually stating that almost every human being has some kind of imbalance that needs to be left behind. The simple fact is that almost every human being on this planet is trapped in a limited sense of identity, and that sense of identity must go before you can enter the kingdom of God. Christ consciousness means that you have attained a true sense of identity as a son or daughter of God.

So my question to you is, “How do you see yourself?” Do you see yourself as a homosexual, or do you see yourself as a son of God? Your letter seems to indicate that you are still trapped in a sense of identity according to which the topic of homosexuality is more important to you than the topic of Christhood. I must tell you that this sense of identity is not your highest potential.

You have the potential to rise to a true sense of identity in which you recognize that you are a son of God. When you rise to that sense of identity, all of the outer, human labels that you might have previously put upon yourself will gradually fade away until you see the inner reality of who you are as a spiritual being. Homosexuality is simply one among numerous labels that people put upon themselves. During the process of growing toward Christhood, those labels must fade away until they become insignificant and do not distort your sense of identity.

There are many spiritual seekers who express their sexuality without allowing their sexuality to define them and their sense of identity. For example, many spiritual seekers do not define themselves as heterosexuals. Their sexuality simply isn’t an issue for them.

My concern is that you walk the spiritual path toward Christhood. There are indeed people who have walked that path while acknowledging their homosexuality. I have no problem with that, as long as they do not allow their homosexuality to hold them back on the spiritual path. And as long as they are willing to transcend their homosexuality if that is indeed what comes to them from within themselves.

The problem I see is that so many homosexuals have become obsessed with their homosexuality and with the need to have other people and society recognize their homosexuality as normal and natural. Therefore, getting recognition for their homosexuality has become more important to them than walking the spiritual path. My friend, this simply will not speed up your spiritual growth. It will slow down or even abort that spiritual growth.

By the way, this is not limited to homosexuality. Many other people have become so attached to a particular outer label that they let it come between them and spiritual growth. As just one example, many very sincere people have labeled themselves as fundamentalist Christians and believe it is more important to convert the rest of the world to fundamentalist Christianity than to walk their personal path toward Christhood. They use a man-made image of me as an excuse for accepting a limited sense of identity as mortal beings who could not possibly do what I did.

As I explained in an important discourse, anything can become a trap for your mind and prevent you from walking the path. My desire is to see you escape all of the traps that are defined by the relative labels that spring from the dualistic mind.

I used the word perversion specifically to refer to those people who are sexual predators and who are fighting to have homosexuality recognized by society out of their insatiable desire to be able to exercise their sexual predation without any restrictions. I am assuming you recognize that as there are heterosexual predators, there are also homosexual predators. I assume you do not condone such sexual predation, regardless of the sexual orientation?

I have not stated that people should be permitted to express their love only behind closed doors. I said that ideally a society should not recognize the legality of homosexual marriage nor should it outlaw homosexuality. I also said that a society should not invade the privacy of people’s homes as long as what was occurring there happened between consenting adults and did not break any laws.

I have to say that I find it difficult to understand how someone can read all of my remarks about homosexuality and conclude that I am encouraging hatred and discrimination.

“On a conscious level the gay people I know (including myself) did not choose to be gay – we only know that this is how we love and we don’t mean to harm anyone. What are gay people supposed to do? Live alone in loveless lives because being gay is against God’s will?”

As I explained in the discussion about the cause of homosexuality, I am well aware that few people have consciously chosen their current limitations. Yet my role as a spiritual teacher is to help you see beyond your current level of consciousness and to help you see that it is possible to attain the Christ consciousness. I seek to reconnect you to the unconscious reality known by your lifestream.

I would like to see every human being walk the spiritual path toward personal Christhood. If you currently feel a need to express your homosexual tendencies, then do so in a responsible manner and in a committed relationship. Yet be open to the possibility that at some point on your spiritual path it might be necessary to leave behind certain aspects of your current sense of identity, including your tendency to define yourself as a homosexual.

I must, however, tell you in all honesty that your remark here is a typical expression of the black-and-white viewpoints that spring from the dualistic mind. You seem to think that if you have defined yourself as a homosexual and if you cannot express that homosexuality, then your only option is to live a loveless life. I beg to differ.

Over the past 2,000 years, many monks and nuns in the Christian religion have decided to live a life of celibacy. Yet for many of these people, their lives have not been without love. They have instead discovered an inner relationship with me and with their Christ self, which has filled their lives with a love that is far beyond what any human love could possibly offer.

Obviously, you can also find people in many other religious traditions who have chosen a celibate life and have discovered a true spiritual love. Some of these people were heterosexuals, and some were homosexuals. Nevertheless, the point is that celibacy is not the same as living a loveless life. It can indeed be the doorway to discovering a deeper and more spiritual love than what is experienced by most of the people who live in a physical relationship.

It is not my role as a spiritual teacher to tell you what choices to make. It is my role to present you with the best possible understanding of the options you have and the consequences of those options. Your remark above shows a lack of true understand of the options you have in life. I encourage you to make a serious effort to transcend that limited understanding and discover the inner world of spiritual love.

“As you doubtless know, many people have prayed to you to have their homosexuality taken away, or have gone to ‘conversion’ therapy with no avail. Could it be on this topic you are mistaken?”

In my discussion on the spiritual cause of homosexuality I explain that many people have chosen to embody in a physical body with homosexual tendencies in order to help their lifestreams resolve the imbalance between the feminine and masculine aspects. The reality of this situation is that the lifestream wants to confront its imbalance and consciously work through it. In other words, the lifestream wants to consciously learn a lesson.

For such lifestreams it does no good to pray to me or God to take away their homosexuality. If I did so, it would violate the free will choices that are made at the deeper level of the lifestream. It is true that your conscious mind might not be aware of these choices, but you do have the option to sharpen your intuition and attain greater contact with your Christ self, whereby you will become aware of these deeper choices. You also have the option to pray for understanding of how to resolve and transcend your homosexuality. If you will listen with an open mind and heart, you will indeed receive answers to such a prayer. And you can find some of those answers on this website.

What I am saying here is that I cannot take the homosexuality – or any other condition – away from anyone. You must work through it consciously and do the sometimes difficult, hard and uncomfortable work of resolving the hang-ups in your psychology. This is indeed what many lifestreams chose to do before they came into embodiment. Yet because they have grown up in a culture that does not give them a thorough understanding of the spiritual side of life, many lifestreams do not see the need for spiritual growth. That is one reason I created this website, so I can hopefully help lifestreams realize that every aspect of their lives is an opportunity for spiritual growth.

Any kind of therapy you engage in should have the goal of giving you true inner resolution. In that respect, the therapy that is offered by most Christian churches is inadequate. You cannot create an effective therapy based on the premise that homosexuals need to be converted into heterosexuals. You can only create an effective therapy based on the premise that a lifestream needs to consciously uncover and resolve its imbalances so that it can move beyond the outer labels that cause it to see itself as a homosexual (or any other human label).

In other words, the premise of the therapy must be to help the lifestream attain Christhood. Obviously, there are currently very few Christian churches that would be able to see beyond their orthodoxy and create such a therapy. This is something I hope to change, and I hope the teachings on this website can make a contribution to this process of change.

Question: Some people find teachings on this website that immediately ring true in their hearts. Yet they find other ideas that are so far beyond or contradict the religious doctrines they were taught in childhood that they find it difficult to accept these ideas. How would you recommend people respond to that?

It is the truth that will set you free. If you currently had the truth, you would already be free. So in order to give you the truth, I have to contradict the erroneous beliefs you currently have. Contradicting people’s current beliefs has always been the role of a true spiritual master, and it will always be so. That is why a master can help only those who are willing to have their cherished beliefs contradicted.

Many people recognize that there is truth on this website. However, they also find some teachings on this website that they cannot currently accept. If this applies to you, I can assure you that you are not alone in this experience. The question now becomes how you deal with this situation?

My role as a spiritual master, and indeed the purpose for this website, is to help people go through a transformation in consciousness. This is first and foremost a transformation of people’s sense of identity, so that they grow out of the limited sense of identity as being mortal human beings and gradually come to accept a new sense of identity as being immortal spiritual beings. This then is the goal. Everything on this website is designed to help the greatest possible number of people attain that growth, that transformation of identity.

On this website I am trying to release teachings for a broad range of students. I realize that there are many people in the world, especially many mainstream Christians, who will not be able to accept the basic idea of this website or many of the individual teachings found on it. They are simply not at a level of their personal path where I can reach them through this website. I also realize that there are certain students who have passed beyond the teachings I am releasing on this website. So I am not trying to reach everyone, but I am trying to reach a relatively broad spectrum. My point is that there are certain teachings on this website that some people might not be ready for. The consequence is that many people find some teachings that ring true in their hearts but they find other teachings that they simply cannot deal with at their current level of consciousness. So once again, how do you handle that situation?

A much more mature response is to realize that at your current level of the spiritual path, you don’t have to deal with that particular teaching. In other words, you don’t need to make a decision with your outer mind concerning whether you should accept or reject the teaching. Instead, you can decide not to make a decision about the teaching. You can put it on the shelf and continue to walk your personal path until at some future time you feel an inner prompting to take the teaching off the shelf.

I encourage you to continue to study the teachings on this website that you can deal with. If you cannot currently deal with my teachings on a particular topic, then it might be legitimate for you to put them aside for now. Yet be aware of the fact that at some point in the future you will need to consider them again.

Let me also mention that this website is meant to inspire people to close the circle and enter into a more direct relationship with me as their spiritual master. This is an inner relationship, where you work with me independently of this website. Yet the main requirement for entering this personal relationship is that you must come to a point where you are willing to consider my teachings even if they go beyond or contradict your current beliefs. My goal for this website is to help lifestreams grow. In order to help you grow, I must help you abandon your incorrect or incomplete beliefs. Closing the circle between master and student

Question: Shouldn’t the books created by you be made available online for free like the rest of the teachings on this website? Please explain why you have chosen to sell the books rather then offer the teachings for free online. I think this is important because some of the people I have shown to your website will read some of it and then see that you are selling something and the second they see that it negates the entire website and they laugh about it.

There are many people who find this website and are deeply disturbed by the possibility that I, the real Jesus Christ, could actually be speaking through someone and putting my inner teachings on a website that is available to all. They are disturbed by this because they have created an image of me that makes them feel they have me and my teachings under control. They are disturbed by the possibility that I cannot be controlled because I can speak through people who choose to tune in to me and be the open door for the Living Word. So when such people find this website, they are, consciously or subconsciously, looking for anything that will give them an excuse for rejecting the website or my teachings on it.

There is a spiritual reason why not all of the books are available for free. To understand that reason, you need to understand the basic spiritual law that guides the interchange between a spiritual master and the students of that master.

This law basically states that the master is allowed to offer the student a certain amount of teaching for free, meaning that the student can receive that teaching without giving anything in return. When I say giving something in return, I first of all mean that the student makes a commitment to embody and apply the teaching and to follow the master.

The Bible tells people to freely give what they have freely received. The master gives freely to the student, and in an ideal situation the student will multiply the gift and give part of it back to the master. When the master gives to the student, it is like one half of a circle. Spiritual teachings and spiritual energy flows from the master to the student. If the student takes the spiritual teaching and does not make a commitment to the master, then the circle will remain open. Only when the student makes a commitment and applies the teaching, will the circle be closed. And only when the circle is closed can the master release more light and teaching to the student.

When the circle is closed, a figure-eight flow is established between the master and the student. The light of the master flows to the student who then multiplies that light and sends it back to the master. The master can then multiply the offering from the student and give the student more light and teaching. This becomes a self-reinforcing spiral that will gradually lift the student to a higher level of consciousness, the level of consciousness attained by the master.

However, for the circle to be complete, the student must give something back to the master. This is what is expressed in the law of the tithe, where people give a part of their income to God, so that God has something to multiply and give back to them. This law was created after the Fall of Man, and it says that a spiritual master cannot continue to give to a student unless the student multiplies the first offering. In other words, the master is allowed to give the student an initial gift. Yet unless the student multiplies the initial offering, the master is not allowed to give any more to that student.

The law is explained in great detail in my parable about the talents. You will notice that both of the servants who had multiplied the talents received more in return. Yet the servant who had buried his talents in the ground, and thereby refused to multiply them, could receive no more and therefore lost everything. You might also consider the situation where I multiplied the loaves and the fishes in order to feed the multitudes. Why did I not simply manifest food? Because the law would not allow me to do so. The law states that I was allowed to multiply what the students had brought to the altar of God. They have brought loaves and fishes, and that is why I multiplied them manifold. Had they brought nothing, there would have been nothing for me to multiply and the multitudes would not have been fed.

When you understand this spiritual law, you realize that this website represents the initial offering that I, as the spiritual master, give to the students, meaning those who find this website. It is my desire to close the circle between myself and anyone who finds this website and who is willing to enter at master-student relationship with me. Yet for the closing of the circle to occur, the student must multiply my initial offering and give something back to me.

The multiplication of the offering first of all means that the student must internalize the teaching and make a commitment to raising his or her consciousness. This has nothing to do with any outer physical action and is certainly not dependent on the person supporting this website in any physical way. Yet there are levels of commitment and the greater the commitment from the student the greater the multiplication from me.

One level of commitment is that the student takes the teachings on this website seriously, studies them, applies them and allows them to transform his or her understanding and consciousness. Yet at some point the student should also take some outer action as a result of internalizing the teachings. One such action could be to use the spiritual techniques that we offer on the toolbox website. This includes the decrees for spiritual protection, the calls for the transformation of negative energy on a personal and planetary scale and the beautiful rosaries and invocations released by Mother Mary. By giving such spiritual exercises, the student will make a contribution to the purification of the consciousness of humankind and the energy field of the entire planet. This then will allow me to give more light back to the student and establish the figure-eight flow.

Another way for the student to complete the circle is to spread the word about this website or to tell other people about the insights they have garnered from the site. In other words, students can help me spread my inner teachings. Finally, a student can also take the physical action of supporting this website financially. The books are a convenient way for people to support the website financially, even though it is also appropriate for them to give a more direct contribution, if they feel so inclined.

While the Internet is a great tool, it also has limitations. One is that so many people expect to get something for free without giving anything in return. Another is that reading a spiritual teaching piece by piece (often in a random order) is not the same as reading a book, where you get a teaching that builds a more sequential progression. You will get a more profound experience from reading the teachings in a book. Therefore, if someone finds something of value on this website, there should come a point where the person wants to read one of the books.

The underlying purpose of this website is to give people a bridge, whereby they can establish a master-student relationship directly with me or another ascended master. The key to establishing this relationship is to make a commitment and to multiply the teachings that I have freely given on this website. As I said, the law only allows me to multiply that which the student places on the altar. I can do nothing beyond what the law allows me to do, and therefore it is truly up to the student to close the circle and establish the figure-eight flow between us.

Finally, there is a practical reason for not giving away the books. When you consider how much material has been put on this website and the fact that so many books have been written, you will see that my messenger simply could not do this amount of work by having a regular full-time job. It is therefore reasonable for me to provide a way for him to earn an income so that he can devote his time to serving me. As the Bible says, the laborer is worth his hire [Luke 10;7]. There is truly nothing wrong with an exchange of money for services rendered.

I desire the books to go far and wide and reach people who do not have computers. For this to happen, the books must get in the bookstores, and I can assure you that no bookstore will give away a book for free. Therefore, they must be sold at a price that makes them attractive to a business.

Question: Hi, my name is N. G. and I’m 19 years old. I come from a strongly Baptist background with 2 former marines as parents. What an American I am! Furthermore, those strong, wonderful, and devout Christian parents have taught me values that I can’t begin to express. The most important to me has been and will always be the one Christ professed most; we’re not to judge. I love them with all of my heart and I know that they love me as well, so much that they don’t judge me. They don’t judge me when I make mistakes, when I fall to the ground, and, in fact, are always there to lift me up when I need it. What’s the best part about all of this? My mother, in all of her Christianity, told me with tears in her eyes that she loved me and wanted the best for me when I told her that I was gay. She said that I was still her son and nothing had changed and she was right! I hadn’t. Above and beyond all of that, she doesn’t judge, as a matter of fact, she hopes to have a son-in-law some day and I don’t have sisters. She wishes that, beyond anything, I fall in love with the man I want and get married and even adopt children together.

Don’t ruin my life for your own perfectly understandable values. Just because you have them doesn’t mean that everyone else has to. Equality isn’t negotiable. Please reconsider your destructive campaign against homosexual unions and be kind enough to share the joy of marriage and love with the rest of the nation. My beloved brother, thank you for responding. I am grateful when people respond to my words, even if they do not agree with me. If you study the scriptures, you will see that when I walked the earth 2,000 years ago, there were many times when I stated things that people did not accept. Some people ignored me, some considered me a madman and others got angry. Sometimes they attempted to throw me out of the synagogue or the town. Sometimes the attempted to stone me. Sometimes they challenged me in various ways. And one time they nailed me to a wooden cross.

Obviously, the world has become more civilized in the past 2,000 years. However, I still do not expect everyone to agree with me. In fact, I know that some people will disagree with many of the things I say on this website, including my statements about homosexuality. So the question becomes, “Do I state the truth as I know it to be, or do I tell people what they want to hear?” You see, whereas human beings wonder about what the truth might be, I AM the truth.

Let me being by asking you to consider that an important part of my mission was to serve as a spiritual teacher. I think all Christians should be able to agree that I did bring forth new spiritual teachings. Now let us consider what is the true role of a spiritual teacher. Let us consider why people need spiritual teachers and why God sends such teachers to earth.

One of the basic ideas expressed on this website is that the main problem on planet earth is that people have descended into a lower state of consciousness. In this state of consciousness they no longer have a direct contact with their spiritual source, with God. Therefore they have no direct experience of the reality of God and the truth of God. Instead, they are trapped in a state of consciousness in which everything seems relative.

Based on this state of consciousness, human beings have created numerous ideas, concepts and belief systems. The belief systems that spring from the relativity of the dualistic mind are all idols. People create a mental image of how they want reality to be, and then they impose that image on the reality created by God. Because God has given people free will, God allows people to create these images, and he allows them to maintain these images until they voluntarily decide to give them up and accept the truth of God rather than a man-made “truth.”

However, God has great mercy upon people, and therefore he sends spiritual teachers into this world to help people see beyond their illusions and know the reality and the truth of God. Therefore, the essence of being a spiritual teacher is to help people see beyond and transcend the mental images, the idols, of how they think the world should be. It is the role of a spiritual teacher to make people see beyond their own mental boxes, and in doing so a spiritual teacher must state truth. The teacher must tell people what they need to hear in order to grow, and not what they want to hear so that they can justify staying the same. The role of the spiritual teacher is that he does not leave people the same as they were before they met him.

If you read the scriptures carefully, you will see that this was an integral part of my mission. I said that for judgment I am come, and the real meaning of that statement is that I came to give people the opportunity to either rise higher and accept the truth of God or to reject the truth of God. I had embodied the truth of God to such a degree that I was fully identified with that truth. That is why I said that “I am the Way, theTruth and the Life.”

When a person met me, that person could not remain the same, that person could not remain neutral, that person could no longer sit on the fence. The person had to either accept the truth that I am or reject that truth and anchor himself more firmly in the human illusion. There simply was no middle way, and there is no middle way today. You either accept the truth of God or you reject the truth of God and accept a man-made, relative “truth.”

Let me give a visual illustration of this. Many people have painted a mental image of how they want reality to be. Imagine that a person is walking around while holding a large painting in front of him. The painting shows a beautiful meadow, and the person firmly believes he is walking through this meadow. In reality, the person is walking towards an abyss, and in just a few steps he will take that final step that causes him to fall over the edge. Now imagine that you are a spiritual teacher standing next to this person. Would it be loving to allow him to maintain his illusion and fall into the abyss? Would it be loving to pat him on the shoulder and affirm his illusion in order to avoid hurting his feelings? Or would it be more loving to shout, “Wake up and let go of your illusions before you fall into the abyss?”

I am grateful that your earthly parents love you unconditionally and support you in going through what you are going through. I can assure you that your heavenly parents also love you unconditionally, and they also support you in going through whatever it takes for your lifestream to become free of all human illusions. However, I can also tell you that your spiritual parents have a more clear vision of your lifestream than your earthly parents have. Your spiritual parents created your lifestream, and they endowed you with your unique individuality. They see your spiritual potential, and therefore they clearly see whether or not you are fulfilling that potential.

As I explained at great length elsewhere, your heavenly parents did not create you as a homosexual soul. They created you as a lifestream that has both masculine and feminine aspects, but they created you with a perfect balance between the two. Your heavenly parents desire you to express the fullness of who you were created to be. Yet, as also explained elsewhere, you can express that fullness only by attaining balance, including the correct balance between the masculine and feminine aspects of your lifestream.

Let me now comment on specific points of your letter.

” The most important to me has been and will always be the one Christ professed most; we’re not to judge.”

Jesus: I am concerned about the fact that you think this is my most important command and that I expressed it above all others. The very essence of my message is to love God before anything else, including your own human self and the beliefs that spring from it. The consequence of this command is that if you want to be my disciple, you must love the truth of God more than the relative, man-made “truth.”

When you fully understand the importance of loving God before all else, you realize that the essence of my message was to raise people to a higher state of consciousness, a state of consciousness in which they again see themselves as sons and daughters of God. To reach this higher state of consciousness, you must let go of the illusions of the lower state of consciousness. You must let go of your false sense of identity as a human being and accept that you are a spiritual being that was created by God. You must love God more than your own human consciousness, your own sense of identity and your own sense of comfortability.

When I said that he who is willing to lose his life for my sake shall find it, I meant that he who is willing to lose his mortal sense of identity, the pseudo identity, shall find the true life of the Christ consciousness. So the question is whether you are willing to go through the uncomfortable process of putting off the old man of human illusions and putting on the new man of Christ truth.

If you think that my most important command was not to judge, then how do you explain my statement, “For judgment I am come?” As explained above, the essence of my mission was to embody the truth of God and thereby force people to either accept that truth and come up higher in consciousness or to reject that truth and anchor themselves even more firmly in the human consciousness. This is the true meaning of judgment.

It is true that I said, “Judge not, lest ye be judged.” The meaning of that statement is that if you judge another based on the relative, mental images created by the lower state of consciousness, then you will be judged by those same standards. The reason being that God does not judge you; you judge yourself. This has been confirmed by many of the people who have had a near-death experience and come back to tell about it.

You will notice that I also said that I judge righteous judgments and that the Father has given it to the Son to judge. The reason is that because I have attained Christ consciousness, because I have become one with the truth of God, I can judge by a standard that is above and beyond the relative standards created by human beings. I do not judge as human beings judge. I do not impose value judgments upon anything or anyone. However, the Christ does judge, and he judges by asking, “Is it in alignment with the reality and truth of God, or is it out of alignment with that truth?” If something is out of alignment with the truth of God, then it is the role of the Christ, it is the role of a true spiritual teacher, to say so openly and thereby give people the opportunity to choose whom they will serve.

This then brings us to the essence of life on earth. The essence can be described as a question, “If your current beliefs are out of alignment with the reality and the truth of God, would you want to know?“ If your current beliefs are not based on the rock of Christ, are you willing to change your beliefs, to increase your understanding, to raise your consciousness, to bring yourself into alignment with the reality of God?

You have free will. I respect the free will of every human being. My role is not to make choices for you or to tell you what to choose. However, it is my role as a spiritual teacher to give you the truth so that you can make an informed choice rather than a choice which is based entirely on relative, man-made illusions.

The greatest challenge for any spiritual teacher is that there are so many people on earth who are not willing to change their beliefs. People have become so attached to certain beliefs that even when I present them with the truth of God, they are not willing to come up higher. This is the essence of the human consciousness. When people identify fully with this state of consciousness, they simply do not want to know the reality of God. They have become so attached to their mental images of how they think the world should be, that they do not want to recognize any evidence to the contrary. They only want to hear that which confirms their mental images, that which validates their chosen beliefs and makes them feel comfortable in those beliefs.

My friend, you have been given free will by God, and you have a right to reject the truth of God. However, please do not expect that I will stop speaking that truth to avoid making you feel uncomfortable. If you will honestly read the scriptures, you will see that I was in constant conflict with those people who did not want to know the truth but wanted to uphold the man-made images that made them feel comfortable. You might even say that my role as a spiritual teacher was to disturb people in that comfortability and therefore give them an opportunity to come up higher.

You might also realize that the people who persecuted me did so precisely because they were not willing to give up their mental images. In order to avoid being disturbed, they were ready to do anything to silence the voice of truth. I realize that if people knew what they were doing when they reject the truth of God, they would not do so. Therefore, I can say today as I said back then, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”

Nevertheless, there are currently millions of people on earth who are willing to come up higher in consciousness. These people are willing to reach for the truth of God, and they are willing to change their beliefs and their lifestyles accordingly. As a spiritual teacher, it is my joy and my privilege to reach out to these people and to offer them a higher understanding, to offer them the truth that will make them free. So don’t expect me to stop reaching out to the people who are looking for truth rather than wanting to remain in their current state of consciousness.

“Don’t ruin my life for your own perfectly understandable values. Just because you have them doesn’t mean that everyone else has to.”

Jesus: You seem to be thinking that what I am expressing on this website is a set of values. You also seem to be thinking that values is something that is relative, it is something that people can decide to agree with or to disagree with.

What I am expressing on this website has nothing to do with values as normally understood by human beings. I am expressing the truth of God. This is not a value. It is truth. It is not subject to human beliefs or opinions. It is true precisely because it is above and beyond human beliefs and opinions.

You have free will. Therefore, you can ignore or deny anything I say, and you can live your life as if I had never said it. When I walked the earth, many people rejected me and my testimony of truth. Obviously, many people will reject me today. Therefore, the fact that I speak the truth cannot ruin your life. You can choose to accept or ignore that truth, and if you ignore it, you can go on living as you see fit. That is your privilege, and I affirm your right to do. Plausible deniability is currently a main feature of life on this planet.

Nevertheless, I must tell you that nothing I say could possibly ruin your life. The only person who can ruin your life is yourself, because your life stands and falls with the choices you make.

Let me try to make something clear to you. As an ascended being, I am perfectly capable of tuning in to the subconscious levels of your being and consciousness. Ask yourself why you were so disturbed about my remarks on homosexuality that you felt impelled to write me. In other words, why not simply ignore me or label my messenger as a madman and go on with your life? The reason can be only that there is a conflict in your lifestream about this issue. Contrary to what you might think with the surface level of consciousness, you are not at peace with your homosexuality.

There are many homosexuals who either would not read my comments or who would have outright rejected them for a variety of reasons. Those are the people who are so trapped in the lower state of consciousness that they are not willing to come up higher. The fact that you decided to write me should demonstrate to you that you are not completely trapped in the lower state of consciousness. Your lifestream has, at inner levels, reached a certain level of maturity and it wants to come up higher. So please consider accepting the truth and allow yourself to be free.

You are right that everyone else doesn’t have to accept my truth. They have the choice to remain in the lower state of consciousness or to reach for the Christ consciousness that will allow them to enter heaven. Yet I must reiterate that no one comes to the Father save by me, meaning that no one can enter heaven except by putting on their wedding garment of Christ consciousness. And no one can put on Christ consciousness without letting go of the illusions that spring from the relativity of the dualistic mind.

So you are right that people do not have to accept my truth. However, if they want to get to heaven, they do have to accept the truth of God. The truth and I am expressing is not my truth or my values. It is the truth of God. I did not invent it, I did not define it. I chose to become one with that truth and to allow it to express itself through me. That is why I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. Join me!

“Equality isn’t negotiable.”

Jesus: This is a very interesting statement. There are millions of people on planet earth today who have become so trapped in the relativity of the dualistic state of consciousness that they actually believe there is no right or wrong, that anything goes. As I said earlier, God has given you free will and this allows people to create mental images that are out of touch with the reality of God. However, the mental images created by human beings do not change the reality of God.

To use my previous image, God allows you to walk around with a poster in front of you. However, sooner or later God’s law will set a limit for how far you can walk, and you will either walk into a wall or walk over a cliff. As I have explained in great detail elsewhere, there is a fundamental difference between the love of God and the Law of God.

God truly loves you unconditionally as his son or daughter. However, God has also set up certain laws that guide the unfoldment of this universe. Precisely because God loves you, he gave you free will. The positive potential is that you can express your unique individuality in ways that are surprising even to God. The negative potential is that you can violate God’s laws and thereby destroy yourself. Because God’s love is truly unconditional, he does allow you to violate his laws. And because God’s love is truly unconditional, he will not prevent you from reaping the consequences of violating his laws. In other words, you will inevitably reap as you have sown.

So contrary to what many people believe, there is no equality in the sense that anything goes. That which violates the Law of God will inevitably produce consequences. Human beliefs will not change the Laws of God, and no matter how firmly people are anchored in their illusions, it will not prevent them from reaping the consequences of violating God’s laws. God is no respecters of persons.

People are equal before God in the sense that they are of equal value to God. They were created in God’s image and likeness and with a potential to be co-creators with God. Yet because of free will, there is no ultimate standard of equality. If a person uses his free will to violate the laws of God, he will inevitably descend into a lower state of consciousness. Therefore, he will make himself less spiritual than those people who decide not to violate the laws of God. This does not make him less valuable, but it does mean that he has lower spiritual attainment.

I am aware that many Christians suffer from the illusion that I did not judge and that I treated all people the same. Yet if you read the scriptures with an open mind, you will see that this is not true. I loved all people with the unconditional love of God. Yet the unconditional love of God is not the soft, mushy love that human beings imagine. The unconditional love of God is not a pacifist love. It is a very active love which wants to bring every human being back to the reality of God.

The love of God does not seek to make people feel good in their present state of consciousness. It seeks to raise people out of all illusions so they can know the reality of God. It is precisely because I love people unconditionally that I could not leave them alone in their illusions. I could not leave them alone to destroy themselves. I was moved by compassion to help them free themselves from their ignorance and rise to a higher state of consciousness in which they were in alignment with the reality and the truth of God.

So I did not treat everyone the same. When I met a person, I always did whatever was most expedient in terms of awakening that person from his or her illusions. The only true equality is the truth and the reality of God. Because human beings have descended into a lower state of consciousness and lost touch with the reality of God, they have created inequality on this planet. Some people even believe that this is perfectly okay and that people should be equal in the sense that everyone can do whatever they want. Nothing is really right and nothing is really wrong.

As a spiritual teacher I do not treat everyone the same way. I treat everyone in a way that will help them rise to a higher state of consciousness. Consequently, my treatment depends on people’s current level of consciousness. The “equality” of man is not the same as the equality of God. The equality of man is infinitely negotiable because it is based on the relativity of the human consciousness. The equality of God is not negotiable because it is based on the rock of Christ. Build your house on the rock of Christ instead of on the shifting sands of the lower consciousness.

“Please reconsider your destructive campaign against homosexual unions and be kind enough to share the joy of marriage and love with the rest of the nation.”

Jesus: I have no campaign against homosexuals or against any other group of people. I have a campaign to save all people by giving them the truth that will make them free.

I am aware that there are many groups of people who are so trapped in the relativity of the human consciousness that they are not willing to see the truth. They will aggressively speak out against my attempts to bring them truth, just as people and demons did 2,000 years ago. In essence, what these people are saying is, “What have we to do with you Jesus Christ? Don’t disturb us Jesus. Leave us alone. We want to remain where we are comfortable.”

If that is your desire, then I will leave you where you are comfortable. Yet please do not expect that I will go along with your desire to be comfortable and stop speaking the truth. And please do not expect me to agree with your judgment that giving people the truth is destructive.

I will speak the truth, and I will let people do with me as they wish. When I spoke the truth 2,000 years ago, people eventually nailed me to a cross. It remains to be seen what people will do to me, and my messenger, for speaking the truth today.

“I am not defined by homosexuality, on the contrary, I establish it’s definition every day.”

Jesus: The reality of life on planet earth is that you are defined by whatever you choose to accept as reality. In the here and now, you are who you choose to be, you are who you choose to see yourself as being.

In reality, you are a son or daughter of God who is defined by the unique individuality that God gave you when he created your lifestream. Because of free will, you can choose to create a mental image, a false sense of identity, in which you see yourself as being separated from God and being different from the unique spiritual being that God created you to be.

I am always saddened when people define themselves by using the relative concepts and beliefs of this world. In that respect, it truly does not matter whether people define themselves as homosexuals, as sinners, as mortal human beings or by using any other man-made sense of identity.

It is correct that people establish the definition of homosexuality through their beliefs and actions. Human beings establish the definition of being human every day. Yet if they define themselves as being separated from God and out of alignment with God, then their definitions are simply mirages flickering over the sand of the human consciousness. These mental images can, by their very nature, only have a transitory existence. The unchangeable laws of God will inevitably cause such illusions to self-destruct. The question is how long you will keep running after a mirage and thinking you will one day find the oasis of truth.

“-It’s all me folks.”

Jesus: This statement springs from the minds of beings who have chosen to rebel against God and the laws of God. They are so separated from their source, so trapped in their illusions, that they actually believe they can do whatever they want and get away with it. They really think it is all about them, or rather their pseudo identities.

I am Jesus Christ, and I for one say that it is not about me at all. It is all about God and the reality of God. It is not all me; it is all God, and I have chosen to accept the fact that I and my Father are one. Feel free to join us in that oneness.

Is Maitreya the true savior?

Question: Is it true that Maitreya is the coming savior who will appear in an undeniable manifestation and take the earth and humanity into a golden age? Is it true that Maitreya has taken physical embodiment?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels: (November 23, 2010)

If you read my discourse on the true way of Christ, you will see that we of the ascended masters have it as our goal to awaken all people to their divine origin and potential by helping them overcome the illusion of separation, the illusion of anti-christ. This means that we are not going to come and “save humankind,” nor are we going to appear in some undeniable and spectacular manifestation. Doing so would only serve to reinforce the illusion of separation—which would be in opposition to our true mission.

If this planet is going to be raised up to a Golden Age, it will not happen by some external force – be it myself, Maitreya or UFOs – doing all the work for people. It will happen by a critical mass of people discovering and acknowledging their own Christ potential. God will not save the earth through me; God will save the world through you and many people like you—if you become the open doors.

So the claim that Maitryea will appear in a spectacular manifestation and solve all of humankind’s problems is completely out of touch with the ascended masters and the Aquarian Age. It is an expression of the perverted Piscean consciousness, and it is long outdated. This was the exact same consciousness of the fallen beings that raised me up as an exception, so that people could not grasp my true message, namely that all people have a Christ potential.

Likewise, the claim that Maitreya has taken physical embodiment is out of touch with the Buddhic teachings on the coming Buddha. Maitreya will not take embodiment as one human being. Maitryea might “take embodiment” through many human beings who become the open doors for him and his light and truth. Yet that is truly not taking embodiment any more than God took embodiment through me, when I appeared as one human being. In other words, the totality of an ascended being will not take embodiment through an individual or even a group of individuals.
