What does ascension actually mean?

Question: Question about ascension. When you ascend you permanently leave the earth behind but what does it mean that when you have ascended in your sphere that you don’t have to embody on other planets. What does ascension actually mean? Are you finished with embodying on earth or are you finished embodying all together?

Answer from the Ascended Master Serapis Bey  through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2017.

Well this is an example of what I said that we have so far given you a somewhat simplified knowledge of the ascension. This is of course more complex and one of the ways it is more complex is precisely this question. There are indeed beings who have ascended from earth in the sense that they have become ascended masters. Many of us are examples of this.

So when you become an ascended master it means you have ascended to the spiritual realm and you do not need to take embodiment on earth or any other planet in the unascended sphere.

However, we have also in previous dispensations given the teaching that you used to have to balance 100% of your karma in order to ascend from earth but now you can ascend with 51% of your karma balanced. But of course it isn’t realistic that if you still have 49% of your karma unbalanced that you become a full-fledged ascended master.

You have qualified to the point where you can leave the earth behind, so you do not have to re-embody on earth but you have not ascended to the spiritual realm. And so some beings who do this can go through the process usually not if they have 49% of their karma left, but if they only have a few percent of their karma left, they can go through the process of balancing this karma and then they can permanently ascend and become ascended masters. But others can benefit from going to another planet that is not as dense as earth and then continuing some existence there.

There can also be examples of beings who have come to the point where they do not for any karmic reason need to come back to earth but they do not feel they are ready to permanently ascend and so they have a desire to go to another planet.

There are avatars who can come to the point where they no longer have to embody on earth, but they desire to go back to a natural planet and spend some time there. And so there can be various scenarios because again free will must be allowed to outplay itself so as long as a being has a desire to experience or accomplish something in the unascended sphere it cannot permanently ascend and become an ascended master.

And so that is why you even saw Jesus was making the choice to take on another physical body on earth before he finally ascended. He could have left the earth behind and gone to a natural planet to fulfil whatever unfulfilled desires he had but he chose to do it on earth so that he could permanently ascend from earth and therefore leave that record in the four lower bodies of the planet.

Do animals have any rights?

Question: We have talked about human rights but what about animals? Don’t they have any rights? And when we kill the animals and keep them in kind of concentration camps and eat them and make them suffer are we not making karma for ourselves?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2017.

My beloved, even the concept of human rights can be understood at various levels. What you currently see as human rights is not the highest awareness of this because it is designed based on the level of consciousness at a certain time, for example in the Declaration of Independence in the United States of what could be grasped. But there is certainly a potential to raise the awareness to see that you have other human rights that are not defined in the constitutions of most democratic nations. And certainly you could come up with a set of spiritual rights which may be a topic for another time.

So let me go back to animal rights. Well, you could say that animals have rights but you have to be very clear here. Planet earth was designed for human beings — for the evolution of human beings. We have said in the book that there are not animals on natural planets. There’s plant life but there are not animals. When the earth was first created, regardless of the story in the Garden of Eden, it was created without animals. There were no animals on the earth in its original state. The animals you see on earth are an expression of a lower state of consciousness after human kind descended into duality.

So I realize this is a truth that many people who are loyal to the Bible will be reluctant to admit, but the fact is that the story of creation in Genesis is very much affected by the fallen beings and therefore does not refer to the original creation of the earth, but to a later period. And so the animal species that you see on earth were actually not created by God or by the Elohim.

They were sort of manifestations of the imbalances in the collective consciousness. This can most clearly be seen in predatory animals. Can you truly imagine a paradise where there are animals that have to kill and eat other animals.

And so you see this state of imbalance. And so you can also see of course that on a natural planet, people do not have to kill and eat animals. And so there will come a point where people on earth will not be eating meat, will not be eating animals. But that point is quite a ways away from where we are now.

And so the concept of human rights is that these are rights that are given by a higher authority than any government on earth and therefore no government on earth should have a right to overrule those rights. Many dictatorships, for example, even modern China believes that Chinese citizens have rights, but those rights are defined by the state. But the real concept of human rights is that they’re defined by a spiritual authority.

So the animals do not have such a spiritual set of rights because they are creations of free-will. And so what actually defines animal rights is what human beings, how they want to define it. And human beings, having free will have of course a right to define certain animal rights. And it is of course also constructive for human beings to see that there are certain treatment of animals that is “not right” as you might say, and therefore you can create the concept that animals have a right to be treated in certain ways and therefore human beings should not violate this.

But you cannot take this so far as to say that in the current state that the earth is in, people, all people or even spiritual people should stop eating meat. Because of the density of the planet, as we have said before, we’re not recommending that our students become vegetarians or vegans. We’re not saying you can’t if you feel it is right for your body. But we are saying that because of the density of matter there are actually some spiritual people that need to eat meat in order to, as you used the expression yesterday, “stay grounded” — maintain some kind of balance. There are some that need to eat meat in order to stay in the body.

And so when you recognize this that at the current level of imperfection, it is necessary for the majority of the people on earth to eat meat then you recognize that it is inevitable that animals have to be killed. And naturally you can discuss what is the most humanitarian or what is the animal rights of how animals are raised, how they’re treated, how they’re killed.

And obviously as society moves forward there will be more and more of an awareness there will be more and more of a desire to treat animals fairly or in a better way and so there will be many changes that will come forward in the coming decades. And certainly you can look at agriculture today with some of the farms that raise animals under very industrialized conditions and see that there will come a point where many people will simply refuse to buy products raised this way, as you see in some countries where many people have already started buying ecological food and being willing to pay more for this.

And so many changes will happen there, but you need to recognize here that although certainly there are people who should speak out for animal rights, you need to take a balanced approach to this. You need to recognize that for the foreseeable future it will be necessary for people to eat meat. You see for example that there are many people in the third world today who live at such levels of poverty that they rarely or ever can afford to eat meat. But you can also see in some cases that their physical bodies are not as large, are not as healthy; are not as strong as the physical bodies of people who have been eating meat in a culture where they have been eating meat for generations.

And so of course eating animals can also give rise to certain diseases but nevertheless you need to recognize there will actually be an increased need for people in the poor part of the world to go through the same phase that you have gone through in the affluent part of the world of eating more meat in order for their bodies to evolve, but also in order for them to overcome a certain stage of poverty and lack.

And so for the foreseeable future, eating meat will be a necessity and therefore as a spiritual person, it is constructive to just accept this. It does not mean that you should not be concerned about animals and animal rights, but you have to accept that the planet is at a certain stage and then make the best of it. The other thing is that we actually do not encourage our students to use their energy, their attention, their time on fighting for animal rights. There are other people for whom it is right to do so, but if you recognize an ascended master teaching it is more important for you to focus your attention on improving the conditions for human beings, rather than animal beings.

The last initiations on earth

Question: Question about the last initiations on earth. Jesus and Buddha succeeded but what happens when you don’t succeed?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2017.

Well my beloved, there’s basically no scenario you can imagine that hasn’t happened either on a dense matter planet like earth or on another dense matter planet. So there are examples of beings who have risen to that level where they face the final initiation, the final temptation and they have failed that initiation. And in some cases they have simply had a temporary setback where they have very quickly been able to rise up, take the initiation again and pass it again.

But there are examples of beings who have gone into a downward spiral because they have been tempted for example, which is one of the most common scenarios, to use whatever powers they had like Gautama described that he could have used his powers in reaction to the demons of Mara. I could have used certain powers when I hung on the cross, as I even expressed that. I could have commanded legions of angels and they would have had to obey me because of my attainment but if I had done that I would have failed the initiation and not have ascended.

And so there are a few, it is not many but there are some that have then gone into this downward spiral of seeking to use or increase their powers so that they could force this kind of change that they desired to effect on earth.

And there are a few examples of some that have really actually gone to the extent of becoming black magicians who used the same methods, have the similar powers to some fallen beings but they of course have not fallen because they were created in this sphere and so until the sphere falls you have not technically become a fallen being even if you go into the fallen consciousness. But they have gone into the same state of consciousness using force, trying to acquire some kind of unlawful ability and using it to force whatever change they thought should happen on earth. But this is not really a common scenario and it is certainly not something I want you to be worried about or be afraid of because if you take our teachings, if you truly internalize what we have said, then you will be able to avoid this temptation.

Differences between the ascension process of original inhabitants of earth and avatars

Question: Question about differences between the ascension process of original inhabitants of earth and avatars?

Answer from the Ascended Master Serapis Bey through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2017.

The difference between the ascension of the original inhabitants of the earth and avatars is not a slight difference, but a very complex difference in the sense that the original inhabitants of the earth are more tied to the earth so it is much more difficult for them to actually leave the earth behind in its present very dark and dense state.

This is not to say that there aren’t some of the original inhabitants who have ascended, but there are many more who have reached some stage of spiritual growth and have not been willing to ascend because they felt a responsibility for the earth and therefore felt that they could not leave it behind.

We have of course explained that the ascension means leaving the earth and everything on earth behind forever permanently. You can of course become an ascended master working with the earth but you truly have to let go of any desire to see any change on earth. And this is more difficult for the original inhabitants because of their sense of responsibility.

An avatar has come to earth and as we have explained, you come with a specific desire to see some change. But you also recognize that this is not a planet that you have helped co-create from the beginning. It is not that you have helped to bring the earth down to the low level it is at right now and so therefore you do not have the same sense of responsibility or attachment to the earth.

And that is why you can actually come to see that your original desire was not the highest possible. You can give it up and then you can leave because you recognize that you want to move on for your own growth or even that you can actually do more for the earth from the ascended state than by being in embodiment. But you can of course as an avatar come to a point where you could ascend but you decide to stay in embodiment because you can anchor light here and be an open door and be an example.

So, it is not that it is a fundamentally different process we have given, but quite honestly you need to understand again progressive revelation, that when that previous book was given in a previous dispensation it was adapted to the level of the collective consciousness as well as the level of the students. And so what was given was a, to some degree simplified process of the ascension.

You could say that the teachings we are giving today about the ascension are also adapted to the collective consciousness and the level of the students and so they are also in a way simplified. Now this doesn’t mean that the previous teachings or these teachings are wrong. It just means that there is more detail that could be given and that might be given as the planet progresses. But what is given now is enough for some students to make their ascension. And then when the planet is raised more, other teachings will be given which will then allow a broader range of students to make their ascension.

Now it should also be added here that there is a certain complexity that comes into play for the original inhabitants of the earth. Because as an avatar, you come to earth, you react to the fallen beings and then you go into duality as a result of this. But because the fallen beings were outplaying a more extreme form of duality it is actually in a certain sense easier  for you to come to see that this is not right and that there must be a higher way. So in a sense it is easier for an avatar to then ascend and pull itself out of duality.

Now for the original inhabitants of the earth it is also relatively easy to see that what the fallen beings are doing are wrong. But remember what we have said that before the fallen beings were allowed to come to earth, the original inhabitants had already created a downward spiral and had become blinded by the duality consciousness. And this was not under the guidance or the force of the fallen beings. So these were choices made by the original inhabitants. And it is much more difficult for them to come to see the limitations of these choices and therefore rise above them. So at some point we will of course give certain teachings whether through this messenger or another messenger, depending on the time frame, that will make it easier for the lifestreams on earth to ascend. We have already given some hints of this, but have not really given an entire teaching that is specifically for them.

Being in embodiment on earth is an opportunity

Question: What does my I Am presence learn from me having physical experiences? Why are there 10 billion lifestreams that want to embody on earth?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Actually my beloved, many of the 10 billion lifestreams that are meant to embody on earth do not want to be here with their outer minds, but you understand that free will works in a very specific way. Free will does not mean that you can do anything you want and then when you have done something you wanted, regardless of the consequences, you can still do anything you want. In other words, you can do anything you want and you can ignore the consequence that it has for others or yourself, and then you can still continue to do whatever you want at the moment. This is the fallen beings image of free will that they have tried to project into the collective consciousness, but it is a false image of course.

As we have said before, if you make a choice and the choice has no consequence, you haven’t made a choice and therefore you haven’t learned anything. And so, what that means if you take the traditional concept of karma, in a past life you made certain choices. This created certain karma for yourself and this karma limits the choices you have now. And so, there are many people who have in past lifetimes, whether on earth or another planet, created such karma for themselves – they had made choices that had consequences that now means that in order for them to have a chance to resolve this karma, to free themselves from this karma – they have to take embodiment on earth. It is their only opportunity to move forward.

So we may say that based on their outer minds they actually don’t want to be here, but they have suspended their free will by the karma, by the choices they have made in previous lives and therefore, they have to come into embodiment because it is –as we have talked about – the school of hard knocks. When you have entered the school of hard knocks sometimes the knocks have to become so hard that you finally become willing to look at yourself and say, “What is it I have to change in myself in order to avoid running into this situation again and again and again?” And naturally we understand perfectly that when you have had several lifetimes where you have been faced with very difficult circumstances then you can come to a point where you really don’t want to be here, you really don’t want to deal with this, and you don’t understand why anybody would want this.

But you can also say that at a higher level, your I Am Presence wants you to be here, because it wants you to have the experience that you can overcome the circumstances that you have created for yourself. You understand that the Conscious You we have said is an extension of the I Am Presence. We could also explain it differently but let us just go with this explanation. Your I Am Presence has taken a part of itself, projected it as the Conscious You and it has allowed that part of itself to make choices, and the Conscious You has, as was so beautifully explained by the Presence of Love, been given a certain gift from the I Am Presence that was your being. There is a certain quantity of your being and through the choices made by the Conscious You, you have invested a part of that being in your four lower bodies in your soul vehicle and you are now identified with this, and this is why you experience it as a limitation to be in embodiment.

This is why you feel that you really don’t want to go through this, but the reality is that your I Am Presence wants that part of itself to go through the experience of first immersing yourself in life on Earth, coming to identify with it, and then gradually awakening from that experience whereby you come to recognize that what you previously thought were conditions put upon you from without, are largely conditions that you have created yourself. We have said that the collective consciousness of course, manifests certain conditions that you experience, but what really affects you is your inner reaction and so, this is what has caused you to experience life as suffering.

And so, the I Am Presence wants you to have the experience that you can immerse yourself in life on a planet like Earth but you can also awaken yourself from it and come out of it again; because when you do this, this becomes a very important experience for your I Am Presence to incorporate in its being. The immersion, the awakening, the push and the pull. This is something that your I Am Presence uses to actually not only learn certain lessons as you would say on Earth, but to expand its being.

And so, to refer to the first point of your question – what does your I Am Presence learn from you having experiences on Earth – this is a question that cannot be answered with the linear mind because in the mind you are in, you are thinking about this a certain way; that there has to be certain lessons you are learning, there has to be certain insights you come to or certain limitations you overcome. And that is what you have to do as the Conscious You, but your I Am Presence is not in the linear mind, it’s in a spherical state of consciousness and so your I Am Presence looks at your life differently as we have explained before.

It doesn’t have the same experience you have, it has a much more expanded spherical awareness, but the I Am Presence can use any experience you have on Earth. It can use the immersion, awakening, push/pull to greatly expand its being, its sense of how the material universe works, what gives you a higher experience, what gives you a lower experience. The I Am Presence has a completely different way of looking at this that it is very difficult to put words on because your linear mind will start relating them to the experiences you have on Earth, and the I Am Presence does not experience your life that way.

And so, it is best for you just to be aware that whatever you have gone through on Earth your I Am Presence uses it to expand its being and this is really why being in embodiment is an opportunity. It is more of an opportunity for the I Am Presence you might say, but what is the I Am Presence? Is it not you? Are you not as aspect of the I Am Presence? You have come to see yourself as a separate being but as we have attempted to explain before, the ascension is really where the Conscious You recognizes that it was not separate from the I Am Presence; and again this is a process that is difficult to put words on because you cannot understand this with the linear mind – what happens to the Conscious You when you ascend. You can only experience it, but you don’t need to experience it until you ascend and before you ascend you don’t need to understand it. You just need to know that there comes this point where the Conscious You goes through a radical change, but it is not something you need to worry about ahead of time.

What you need to be concerned about is how you take the next step towards the 144th level of consciousness so that you are qualified to ascend, and that basically means freeing the Conscious You from the immersion, from the identification with Earth, but especially with your four lower bodies. And you can as we have said before, you can actually make the conscious shift where you accept this process and you don’t look at it in a negative way. You don’t regret it, you don’t have this sense of why would anybody be in embodiment on Earth because you can actually make the conscious shift where you are at peace with being in embodiment and this is the shift we have attempted to help you make in this conference where you are at peace with being who you are at your present level of consciousness.

You accept yourself for who you are, you can even love yourself for who you are, and you can certainly recognize that you can feel our love the way you are right now and at the level you are at right now. And when you feel our love, when you are at peace with being in embodiment my beloved, suddenly it isn’t so bad to be in embodiment, and it can have certain enjoyable aspects.

And there can come a point my beloved, where you actually can recognize on the spiritual path a very simple thing – there are many spiritual people that have focused on overcoming the desires of the flesh as the Christians sayeth because they think it’s sinful or they think it keeps you from your spiritual growth because it keeps your attention focused on the physical octave, but there can come that point where you are not engaging in physical activities out of this compulsive need or desire. You are not feeding your ego, but you can come to the point where you say, “I am in a physical body, and there are certain activities I like doing”, and you do them with a sense of peace and you enjoy them, why wouldn’t you enjoy? My beloved, do not construe the concept of a spiritual path to think that you really shouldn’t be in embodiment, you should be ascended and therefore, as long as you are not ascended you should punish yourself by not enjoying any aspect of life on Earth. Have we ever said that this is the way to make progress on the path? I am not aware that we have but of course, I know very well that the Christians have taught this for centuries and many other spiritual teachers have taught it.

But what we are saying here is this – when you have overcome the compulsive desires, for example, for eating, then there is nothing wrong with enjoying a good meal in the company of good friends or even alone, and fully enjoying it, being in the now, enjoying that activity. There is nothing unspiritual or sinful about it and when you come to that point and you make peace with being in embodiment, you can begin to enjoy life in embodiment, and then you can actually come to the point where you are not longing to get out of here. This doesn’t mean you want to be here longer than necessary but you are at peace with being here and realizing that you still have some time in the physical body and why not enjoy that time. In a sense we have before given certain teachings that the only way to be ultimately free of certain conditions is to actually come to accept the conditions to the point where whether they continue or don’t continue, you are at peace. And this doesn’t apply to all conditions in the physical octave certainly.

I’m not saying that you need to come to the point where you can be at peace with being tortured by somebody but when it comes to being in embodiment and living a relatively normal life, I can assure you that you will not actually make your ascension until you are fully at peace with being in embodiment and you are able to enjoy certain aspects of it. The ascension is not a process of escapism. You cannot ascend if you are running away from something; and as long as you have not fully made peace and fully accepted what being in embodiment offers you in a positive way, you cannot actually ascend.

There are people my beloved, not many, but there are some, who have followed a spiritual teaching that talked about how you need to starve the body or overcome the desires of the body and be completely free of the desires of the body, and they have also followed other teachings about balancing karma, and they have actually come to a point where they have balanced enough karma, they have resolved certain psychology, where they could actually ascend.

But they have one reason why they cannot ascend and it is that they have never felt at peace with being in embodiment and they have never allowed themselves to enjoy the positive aspects of being in embodiment, and therefore they cannot ascend. They cannot make the switch in the mind of leaving the body behind, and I know that many of you have had very difficult embodiments even in this lifetime, but also in many previous lifetimes, and I know that it can be very, very difficult having gone through deep trauma to actually find some enjoyment in life. But I also know it is possible to make that shift if you are willing.

And so, always there is a point where you can’t make the shift even if you are willing because you are not ready; but there comes a point where you can make the shift because you have healed enough of your four lower bodies, you have resolved enough psychology, and the only thing that stands between you and the shift is that conscious recognition and the conscious decision – Yes! I am willing to shift, I am actually willing to let go of the self that I used to get me to a certain level of the path, but now I see that it is actually a self that I don’t need anymore because it is a self that doesn’t have a positive attitude and isn’t at peace with being in embodiment.

So again, there comes that point where if this resonates with you – and for many – you are not there yet, but for some you are there, and then you can look at – am I willing to make that shift, am I willing to be at peace with being in embodiment, am I willing to actually enjoy the time I have left on this earth.

Passion and swearing in speaking out

Question: when we speak out against injustice, I know there is this thing of not getting involved in issues, but when speak out against injustice we do it with a certain degree of passion sometimes. Some people swear when they do it. It’s that line sometimes when you are aware of something you want to bring awareness to it but not get caught up into it. I’m still playing with this, the Israel/ Palestine situation to be more specific.

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

We talked in our discourse and in your discussions yesterday about speaking from the heart where when you speak from the heart you have passion as most people would call it, but it is not a fear based passion. It is not a passion that comes from the lower chakras, especially not the solar plexus chakra, and it is not where you have a particular intent about convincing other people. When you get to a certain point on the path you are very capable of sensing in yourself when you have a fear based emotional reaction, and when you are simply on fire and eager about something.

You can learn to tell this difference and it is not beyond the capability of most of you, so that you can speak out with the conviction and the passion where your words are endowed with an energy that comes from your I Am Presence; and this energy can often be the very factor that helps people open their minds or shift their minds. This is what we have called love because it is an aspect of love when you help shift the minds of other people. But you cannot help shift the minds of other people if you are coming from a fear based reaction in yourself. So therefore, you need to be willing to look at yourself and willing to look at whether you are in fear, or whether you have a particular attachment to a particular solution.

Like we have said before, respect that other people have their free will, and respect that it is not so important to bring about a particular outer result. The real goal of the ascended masters is to shift consciousness, so if you speak with the goal that you want to shift peoples’ consciousness, you want them to help them see something they haven’t seen before, but you allow them the freedom to decide whether they will heed your words, you allow them freedom to what action they will take or not take based on what you are saying. Then it is passion, a higher passion, a love based passion; but when you have an attachment to a certain outcome, and especially wanting people to react a certain way then it is fear based, and then even though you may, whether you swear or whether you speak in a certain altered voice, this is not actually the flow of the spirit, at least not the one Holy Spirit.

It may be the flow of some lower spirit that you have opened yourself up to as you see that much communication among people – especially when they are trying to convince others – comes from lower spirits because there are many people in the world who, in order to influence other people or be recognized as an expert or whatever, have been willing to open themselves up to a lower spirit that will give them that sense of power but of course, also takes their energy.

You will see for example, in a political arena you can actually learn to discern when there are two people in a debate that are in an agitated state of mind, and they are both talking at each other or perhaps even yelling at each other; you can actually see that these are two spirits that are having this argument through these people. And of course, it serves no constructive purpose. Often the purpose really is to draw the audience in to an emotional reaction so that the spirits can steal their energy.

Spiritual perspective on euthanasia

Question: Question about euthanasia.

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Again my beloved, a complex topic that has many subtle aspects. If you want to simplify it, you could say you are on a planet where free will reigns supreme. So therefore, a person has the right to decide that it wants to terminate its life without going through a very painful process of illness. This we say based on the fact that free will is the ultimate, but of course the question is always how free of a choice are people making; and now we come to the more subtle aspects where in an ideal situation people would know certain facts about their spiritual reality.

They would know about reincarnation, they would know about the need to resolve your psychology, overcome a certain level of consciousness, and that a physical illness could be an expression of a certain level of consciousness. They would know that there can actually be a certain shift of consciousness that people go through as they are physically ill and that therefore, it could be valuable for their long term growth that they actually experience the illness to the end, because by going through that process of knowing that the body is dying they can process many questions, many thoughts, many ideas that they had not thought about earlier in their lives.

And so, you see here that from a simple perspective you can say that people have the free will to decide, but again, there can be many cases where if people just decide that they want to avoid the pain, they are actually hindering their growth and they are actually creating a situation where they will have more limitations in their next lifetime, and they might have the disease reoccur, and they might also come into their next lifetime without having had the resolution that they could have had if they had stayed alive to the end of the process.

Now of course, one of the difficulties that comes into the play is that modern medicine has created certain technology that allows people – that allows the physical body – to be kept alive artificially. And so if you look at a situation where you didn’t have the modern technology say, a hundred years ago. Somebody contracts a disease. There is then we might call it a natural, although no disease is strictly natural, but there is a certain process that this person will go through, and it could be very, very individual based on giving the person the opportunity to shift their consciousness.

You will see for example, that there are people who are ill and who can come to a point where they say, “I am at peace, I want to go now”, and in some cases they can leave the body behind because they feel they have the resolution to leave. Then there are others who never come to that point; but an illness can be an opportunity for people to face issues that they have not faced before, and therefore you will say that in the previous time the so called natural process of the illness would be adapted to giving the person the maximum opportunity to shift their consciousness.

And so you could say that without the intervention of modern medicine, it would be natural that the person would die at a certain time. What you have now is that you have a mindset in modern medicine that the most important thing is to preserve the physical life; and so you have created these procedures and technology whereby you can extend the physical life for as long as possible, and this means that there are cases where you have extended the lifespan of that person beyond what was natural. In other words, it would have been ideal from a spiritual perspective that the person had died sooner but now this artificial medicine has kept the person or the physical body alive longer so that the person is still tied to the body.

This also means that there are some cases where the person is kept in a state of great pain longer than normal, and in that case it can be constructive if the person has the intuitive attunement for the person to say, “I feel it’s my time to go, I don’t want my body to be kept alive any longer, I don’t feel I need to experience this pain, or I don’t want to be sedated by pain killers, so just allow the body to die”. This can be a valid way to do it, but then the person is not seeking to run away from the pain or run away from facing its issues. And so again in an ideal situation the person would know about the spiritual side of life, has resolved many issues in its lifetime, has worked on its intuition, and therefore the person can know – this is my time to go, just allow it to happen.

But if people do not have that then there are more issues that come into play here and it becomes much more difficult to say, “Should society legalize euthanasia?” And this is an issue that must be decided in each country because it depends on the national psyche and it becomes a challenge for the national psyche to deal with this issue as it always is a challenge for society to deal with these life and death issues.

Ideally every society should be facing a lot of issues, but there’s always a tendency that people want to take the easy way out and ignore issues, but there are certain issues of life and death that most people feel they can’t ignore, and so that is often the greatest source of growth; not because it needs to be that way, but because of the avoidance. And so it’s important in this time that every country has a debate about this and what they should allow.

Now, we are in Holland which has probably the most liberal laws anywhere on the planet about this issue, and I can tell you that in this case Holland is in many ways too liberal, has too little respect for life because there isn’t the spiritual awareness; and so there has actually developed a certain consciousness in Holland where the people see themselves as being very avant guard, very advanced. But you are not nearly as advanced as you think because you don’t incorporate the spiritual perspective; and so there is a tendency to want to play God, and this you also see especially focused in the medical establishment in Holland where many doctors feel that they should be allowed to decide when a certain person should die because they are capable of deciding this.

But my beloved, if you have a materialistic approach to life, you are in no way, shape, or form capable of deciding when another human being should die. Believe me my beloved, tremendous karma can be made by this, and we are of course not interested in anyone making karma unnecessarily. And so, this is an issue where it isn’t actually possible for us to give a clear cut answer about what a particular nation should do, and the reason for this is that even if the lawmakers in a nation were willing to listen to the ascended masters, we wouldn’t want to give an answer because we want the nation to go through the process of debating the topic and coming to its own conclusions.

And so, if we had the ear of the people in a nation we would still allow them to go through the debate and then we might at some point step in and give some directions if we saw that they were stuck and that they had the potential to go higher. And so these are the remarks I want to give for now, although this of course is not the final word on the issue.

Balanced approach to spiritual path

Question: How can we better bridge the gap between the unconscious mind and the conscious mind?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

If you use our teachings the way we intend – study the books, practice some of the invocations that appeal to you – then you are already in the process of doing that. But you need to be aware that you cannot see everything in your subconscious mind all at once because it becomes overwhelming. It becomes too much, and so there are always some students that they want to see it all at once and it’s in a sense, it is understandable and commendable; and we are in no way seeking to discourage people, but you have to be balanced.

You have to recognize that you are not meant to see everything in your subconscious mind all at once. You see it in pieces, you see it in increments. It’s actually a function of the fact that you forget your previous lives, it’s an opportunity whereby you are not so overwhelmed.

Think about this my beloved. If you have had hundreds of lifetimes on a very dark and violent planet like this, you could have been exposed to many, many things in past lives. And if you were taking with you from lifetime to lifetime the conscious awareness of what has happened in the past, you would come into a new lifetime being so burdened that many people simply couldn’t function, they couldn’t bear it. And so, that’s why the same with the subconscious mind you know, our teachings are designed specifically to help you do this is in a process that is safe, that is gradual, that gives you what you can deal with and not too much.

And it is very important not to take heaven by force as you see in many people who use some unbalanced technique to get into the subconscious mind, or who raise the kundalini or who do other things because they want immediate results and immediate growth and it often ends up overwhelming them to the point where it actually takes them down rather than up. It hinders their growth rather than furthering it.

So the best thing you can do is use our teachings, but then also develop this listening ear where there is always a part of your attention that’s open to having the next revelation that you are meant to have, and then you will do very, very well, and you will make progress as many of you have done and as some of you have even expressed how you have made progress and you have found great healing by following and applying the teachings.

Not all psychological issues are real?

Question: So, when I look at my psychology is it possible in some cases that there is actually nothing to look for, but I’m actually like forcing myself to see and so I might imagine it and make it up?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

It truly is amazing what the human ego and the outer mind can do and you need to be aware of this; that your outer mind will not simply lie down and die because you have found an ascended master teaching and you started working on your psychology. It is very, very true that when you go into the process of starting to look at yourself, starting to look at your psychology, you are making genuine progress by seeing issues that are there, but your ego, perhaps even some dark forces, will try to project into your mind that there are more problems. In fact as this messenger realized a few years ago, there is an aspect of the outer mind of the mental body that we could call the problem solver.

You could look at it as if it’s a program on your subconscious computer, or on your physical computer; a program that is designed with one purpose – to solve problems. The problem with the problem solver is that he has become so clever that he realizes that when you are walking the spiritual path and resolving your psychological issues, there will come a point where he is out of work, and he doesn’t want to be out of work, so instead of just solving problems then he goes into actually creating problems and projecting that these are real problems that you have to solve.

And so there is obviously a level of the path where you don’t have to worry about this because you have real problems and issues from past lives that you need to solve, and you need to resolve these things and work on them. But it is true that there does come a point on the path to Christhood where you need to step up to a higher level of discernment and you then to recognize that there is an aspect of your mind that will project that you have a problem, and why does it do this? Well, we have said before, we gave you the concept of a spiritual path but that there comes a point where this concept can become a hindrance to your growth because what does a spiritual path imply?

It implies that you are at a certain level and you need to go to a higher level; so there is a distance between where you are now and where you ideally should be and, as long as you think there is a distance, there is a distance. You have not arrived, but there can come a point on the path to Christhood and in fact there are many of these points where you need to consciously acknowledge that you have attained a certain level of Christhood because you need to consciously make the decision to dismiss the illusion that there is still a distance between where you are and where you should be.

This doesn’t mean you have attained full Christhood, but it is important for you to have these steps on the path where you recognize you have reached a certain level, and now there is a certain issue that you no longer put your attention on. And the problem solver in your mind will gladly project that you are not there yet, that there is another problem you have to solve, there is another issue you have to solve, there is this other very, very distant past lifetime where you had this traumatic experience that you need to deal with.

And so, this is a very good observation, it’s a very good point to come to, but when I give a teaching about this I know there is always a certain group of people that are hearing this for the first time and they are always worrying, “How do I now tell the difference between the real psychological issues and fake ones, because so far I have felt secure in thinking that anything that came up in my psychology was a real problem that I had to deal with; and now I am hearing that there are fake issues, so what am I going to do now?”

And the reality of this is that if you are reading or hearing this teaching and it hasn’t come to you from within yourself, then don’t focus attention on it. Still go on the working assumption that every problem that comes to you is something you need to deal with. When you feel that it comes from inside of yourself, this awareness that perhaps this is not a real issue, then you start asking for our help to have the discernment, and we will help you as much as we can.

It is a continual challenge for us on the spiritual path that we are trying to teach students from a broad range of consciousness and so we need to give certain teachings for people at a certain level of consciousness, but we also give higher teachings for people at a higher level; and of course these are also valid for those at a lower level when they come to that level. But there are sometimes people at the lower levels, they take a teaching that is really not for their level, and they become very focused on it with the outer mind and it is sometimes because they want to be more advanced than they are and it creates great confusion for them.

And so, when I say that there comes a point on your path where you need to basically ignore the concept of a path and allow yourself to accept that you have arrived, well, most people do not have to worry about this. But it is a valid teaching that at some point if you are not aware of it, you can keep projecting that you are not where you need to be and therefore, you never dare to express your Christhood at a certain level because you think you are not there. As we have said before, the great philosopher who said that you first have to go to the halfway point, and then to the halfway point between that and your destination, and therefore you never arrive because you can always divide the distance into smaller and smaller increments; and this is what the ego will attempt to do when you have reached a certain level of the path and you no longer have these issues that it can use to manipulate you.

Then it will attempt to project into your mind that there are still more issues, still more subtle issues that you need to deal with; and there does come a point where you need to consciously look at a certain issue and say, “No, no. I am not putting my attention on this”.

Is it subtle my beloved, to determine whether something is real or not? Yes, it is. Does the path become more subtle as you go higher? Yes, it does, but you also increase your ability to discern and you increase your ability to sense when there is a lower intention from some part of your being. You increase your ability to sense when there is no ego based intention in you, there is no ego based reaction. You simply feel that here is something that attracts your attention, and when it does you know it’s real. When you feel the ego based attempt to manipulate you into a strong reaction then you can dismiss it and say, “Get thee behind me Satan”, because it’s trying to pull you into some reaction.

But again, this is a teaching for the higher levels of the path, but it is an important teaching, and it is an important distinction to make that not all psychological issues are real. Now, we need to add to this that there also comes a point on the higher levels of the path where you are no longer resolving personal issues that you have, but you are resolving issues from the collective consciousness or perhaps a group of people and at this point you are taking on an issue and the issue is real and it needs to be resolved by you, but you can learn to discern that this is not actually a personal issue you have.

It is something you have taken on and therefore, you can avoid taking it so personally, taking it so seriously; but it is real and you cannot just dismiss it. Well you can, but it is not the ultimate reaction because you are helping to resolve something for the collective and for other people.

I know my beloved, that some of you will again react to this by feeling even more confused, and I’m asking you to therefore be very mature in the way you look at this, and you develop perhaps another approach to our teachings where you recognize as we have said, there are so many issues in the world that you cannot focus on all of them.

And you also begin to recognize that we have given very vast teachings, even through this messenger, but also through other messengers, and that there is too much for any person to focus on all of it. And therefore, you develop this sort of selectiveness where you tune into your heart, you feel what is important for you now. Then you focus on that, and you do not focus on the other things. It’s not that you deny them or ignore them, but you are open to the fact that there can come a point where suddenly from within you feel that now it is time to focus on something else, and then you just do that.

But you do not put yourself in the state of mind where you become so over eager to be a good student that you feel you have to read every book, you have to give every invocation, you have to be aware of every issue we bring to your attention because you need to recognize that first of all, we often speak to the collective consciousness, but also we have a vast student body and we foresee and even greater student body in the future.

So we are bringing forth teachings for many different groups of people, many different levels of consciousness, and therefore you need to tune in to where you are at, what is important for you. Then you focus on that and you do not feel bad about not doing everything, focusing on everything, studying everything. You just rejoice in having found the path of the ascended masters. You rejoice in being at the level you are at, and doing what is important for you at that level.

Phases in overcoming reactionary patterns

Question: Lately, when I have a reaction from, let’s call it my ego, like a judgment or I distance myself from people. I usually used to look at that very critical. So trying to work it out of my system, not being able to let it be there. And lately, I’ve tried looking at my reactions with more compassion or even love. And I’ve noticed some kind of release or being able to shift more, given the perspective of my higher self, maybe. But because it’s so new, I still need to know is this also an avoiding of my psychological strategies?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Well, my beloved, you need to go through certain phases. And so there is a phase where you start becoming more aware of your emotional reactions, but you still haven’t resolved the psychological issue that causes the reaction, and so it is valid to go through a period where you seek to pull your attention away from the emotions, you seek to step away from feeling it so personal.

And therefore, you can seek to gain the perspective of your I Am Presence or an ascended master on this. Now, you need to understand here that the ego can misinterpret anything. You could say, for example, that if you take my dictation from last year that most problems people have, most conflicts between people, are petty problems. Then you could apply that and say that I am telling people to just ignore all problems but this is of course, not what I’m saying and certainly not at the personal level.

But it’s valid to shift out of taking it so seriously, being so burdened by it emotionally. And if seeing it from the perspective of your I Am Presence helps you, then that is positive. But of course, you need to be aware that ultimately in order to be free of these issues in your psychology you need to look at them. You need to heal a wound. You need to transform the energy. And you need to come to the point where you see the deeper belief you have about yourself that causes you to go into this reaction again and again.

And so, what you are doing is fine, as long as you don’t see it as the ultimate step. And of course, don’t let it stop you from looking deeper into the mechanism for why you react a certain way, or even why you have been so critical of yourself, why you feel that need to put yourself down or to judge yourself very harshly.

This tendency to judge yourself is always put upon you by the fallen beings, by the dark forces, by your ego, and it is completely artificial. It is also in many places in the collective consciousness, and put upon you maybe by family members or other people. Sometimes, in a bizarre way they have no evil intent, but they think that in order to function in society you have to behave a certain way, and the only way to keep you within the boundaries of what they consider normal, you have to judge yourself and constantly evaluate your behavior.

In so many places in many cultures, they have this very judgmental attitude towards everyone and everyone is brought up to have it towards themselves. And you need to look at this and realize that it is not natural. It is not coming from your I Am Presence or the ascended masters. And you need to decide – is it something you want to carry with you for the rest of your life. And if you don’t, we have given you many teachings and tools on how to overcome it. If you use the teachings we have given, even my teachings on the cosmic birth trauma and the magnificent teachings you received today from the Presence of Love, you can make major progress on this. But we have also given many other teachings that can help you.

The physical future on Earth, running out of resources, colonising other planets and the Golden Age

Question: I was wondering the physical future on Earth. Like we’re going to be running out of oil, alternative energy? People are planning on going to Mars in the next 50 years. How do these kind of things tie in with the coming of the Golden Age? I mean do those – Is there a connection there?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain  through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

My beloved, those who go to Mars will miss my Golden Age. Humor aside, it is always a tendency that you will see that some people respond to the awareness of a problem by wanting to run away from it. Psychologists have for many years operated with the fight and flight response; and so every time there is a new problem that comes to the public awareness there are some people that run away from it, some people want to fight it, and some people want to build a wall.

And so, what you see is that as the consciousness is being raised, there are certain people that cannot ignore certain problems anymore and this ties in with the answer to the previous question of the conspiracy theories. There are many people on the planet that are asleep, spiritually, mentally, emotionally. They have created a certain comfortable life for themselves where nothing really disturbs them.

We have even given the teachings that this was actually what was threatening to destroy the earth – that people had created such a society that was so uniform and there was no differences of opinions that even though they had a great sense of security and harmony, they were not growing. And so, this was what actually made us decide that fallen beings would be allowed to embody on the planet to upset the apple cart and get people out of this state of virtually being asleep, spiritually speaking.

And so, there are still many people that are like this and if you could say that the conspiracy theories and the fake news have a beneficial effect, it would be that it is sometimes the only way that these people can be awakened from their coma, and suddenly there is something that is so outrageous that there is a reaction. And there is a possibility that by them reacting so strongly they can gradually be awakened. There is also a possibility that they will go into what Mother Mary described of being addicted to this kind of reaction, and therefore, they go into a dead end but that is the case anytime there is a growth to a new level.

So, what you have – and I have addressed this before, for example, in my book on poverty (Help St. Germain Stop Poverty) – is that the fallen beings are always seeking to manipulate the situation, and the way they have done it now for thousands and thousands of years is they have created this philosophy of lack. And this was because there came a point where they had been instrumental in lowering the collective consciousness, densifying matter to the point where there was lack at the physical level. There were limited resources and therefore, it was relatively easy for the fallen beings to spread this philosophy of lack. And this you can see all up to the modern age, where you see this philosophy, such as the concept of limits to growth that was spread around in earlier decades.

And so, you have this entire philosophy that everything is limited and there will come a point where we run out of resources, whether it’s oil or something else, but I have addressed this before that you may run out of a particular resource, but you will not run out of resources. You will not run out of energy so it is simply an artificial construct. And it is in a way, the last ditch attempt of the fallen beings to save the consciousness of lack.

Now they are using the environment, whether it’s global warming, whether it’s running out of resources, whether it’s over-population and all of these things, to say that the earth is inherently limited and therefore, there is an absolute limit that you cannot go beyond.

But as I say in my book on poverty, this is a complete fabrication because even though oil is an important resource right now, I have other forms of energy that I am already ready to release, when the consciousness is raised to a sufficient level, that will make oil completely obsolete.

And there will come a time where people will look back at the present age and all the technology based on oil and think it is as primitive as you now consider an ox cart. And it will be obvious to people in that future, which is not necessarily so far away, that this was a very, very limited technology and they will be amazed that people could be so attached to oil-based technology and think that this was the only form of energy and the only way to drive machinery. They will be totally amazed that this consciousness could have such a hold on people for so long despite all the other technological progress that you have seen in the last hundred years.

And so, it is completely unnecessary to even speculate about traveling to another planet physically, colonizing other planets. Completely unnecessary! This planet is designed to hold 10 billion lifestreams that can all grow towards Christhood and have enough physical resources once we go to a higher level of the collective consciousness. And so, the physical future on Earth is that there will come a point within decades, hopefully within just a few decades, where we will have the release of what I have previously called technology that is not force-based. And once you start shifting the collective consciousness to accepting this kind of technology, the consciousness of lack will simply fade away because people will begin to accept the possibility that there is unlimited energy resources and therefore, there really are no limits to growth.

It is right now – the main obstacle is, as I have said before – the main obstacle to the Golden Age or the manifestation of the Golden Age is that people cannot accept it. They cannot accept it as a possibility and the reality is that you have already seen technology that is not force-based. The emphasis on green technology, whether its solar cells or wind power, is an example, but there is of course, much more advanced technology. But what has been brought forth so far is the technology that people can actually accept, that they can accept that this can work. You will see that the fallen beings have a major propaganda effort to prevent people from accepting the concept of free energy. This is the essence of non-force-based technology.

Force-based technology says you have a technological device, you must put something into it to get something out of it. This is force-based technology, the essence of force-based technology, but what are you putting into a solar cell? Well sunlight, yes, but are you producing it here on Earth? Nay. What are you putting into a wind mill? Do you drive the wind? No! So you see that there is already technology that gives you energy without you human beings having to put anything into it. So why is it so difficult to switch and realize there are other such forms of technology? And when the consciousness is raised enough these technologies will be released and there will come that point where you know that you have all of the energy you could ever need.

Why are the fallen ones creating this consciousness of lack? Well, partly because they can control you through it, but also because they can profit from it. What my beloved, is the one sentence they always give you about capitalism? Supply and demand. Well, the only way for a capitalist to conceive of making really big money is to have a monopoly on the supply of a certain good so that he can charge almost any price he wants. The other way to conceive of it making big money is that you can restrict supply so there is a lack of a certain resource and therefore, people are willing to either pay more for it or to even pay for it.

The situation you have today where people are programmed to think that they have to pay for energy is a completely artificial situation created by the fallen beings. There will come a future – not so distant – in the Golden Age where people will not even dream of paying money for energy because they have shifted to the point where they realize that energy should be free so that people are free to do whatever they want with it. There will come a point in the Golden Age, my beloved, where you can live on Earth without having to pay any big corporation or any state money to just exist.

How artificial is it that in order to simply exist, you have to pay money to the state, to these various big energy corporations and other companies? There will come a point where your basic physical survival is given to you for free, and this means that people cannot exploit you by forcing you to pay for the necessities of life. I am sort of getting ahead of myself, because one of the topics I wish to talk about at this conference is exploitation. So this is a glimpse of the physical future on Earth. And again, you need to decide where do you focus your attention; and if you are an ascended master student, focus on the manifestation of the Golden Age. Don’t focus on the problems.

You know you have the old saying: “Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.” Well, to a certain degree, being part of the solution means that you are not focusing your attention on the problems to the extent that you are giving them energy that magnifies the problem. You are focusing on the solution. You are focusing on raising consciousness, both your own and the collective. That is the way to look at the future. And I can assure you that the future of this planet is much brighter than the vast majority of the people can accept, but I would like you, who are my direct students, to accept it and to shift into this positive expectation of the future. And sure, there may be some events that will be disturbing because, as we have said, you cannot override the free will of the majority of the people, and they may have to experience some drastic conditions in order to awaken. But you can choose not to let this take you off the path of focusing on the positive and focusing on manifesting the Golden Age.

How to deal with fake news or conspiracy theories

Question: A lot of things are being exposed nowadays through alternative media. A lot of it is really heart wrenching and very disturbing. I know some of it isn’t true. We have to use – you have to feel it within your heart to determine what’s real and what’s not. What do you do if you feel that some of these things are real in your heart? What do you do emotionally? How do we deal and cope with all these disturbing things that are cropping up about the elite, the things that they’re doing behind closed doors? Not just politically, but virtually those type of things that are cropping up. How do you deal with that kind of stuff emotionally in a balanced way and not become too obsessive over it? Also this is for us here that are part of the ascended masters’ teachings. How do we deal with it? But also there are people out there that aren’t part of the ascended master’s teachings and how do they deal with it? How are they supposed to deal with it? And how are we supposed to deal with all this stuff that’s coming up right now?

My beloved, I’m going to be a little bit provocative. Are you aware, all of you, that there are some countries where there are children that are starving? Are you so disturbed by this that you can’t sleep at night, that you have to read about it on the internet constantly? Then ask yourself why you are so disturbed by some of these fake news or conspiracy theories that are posted on the internet. I’m trying to show you here actually a positive lesson by provoking you a little bit.

What I’m trying to show is that there are many, many things that are going on this planet that are not ideal. But the fact of the matter is that even though you know some of these things are going on, you have found a way to live a reasonably balanced life. And so if you can find a way to live a balanced life while knowing that there are children starving in Africa, why can you not find a way to live a balanced life while knowing that there are certain conspiracies? Why do you feel an almost compulsive need to study this, to take this material in, to allow it into your consciousness and put your energy on it?

So you see what I’m saying here. You’re living on a very difficult planet, a very low planet, a planet that has many manifestations that are not ideal, that need to be changed, that will be changed over time. You cannot allow yourself to focus on all of these conditions because you cannot live a balanced life that way. And so the reason why I am being provocative here is that the only way to really deal with this is to make a decision not to put your attention on certain things because if you observe yourself, you will see that there are many websites out there that are deliberately designed to be disturbing and to create a strong emotional reaction in you, and to almost create a situation where you become addicted to taking in these news.

And yes, they may report certain things that are factual, but many of them also report a lot of things that are not factual because one of the ways they get people’s attention and energy is precisely by presenting false news as if they were true, in order to create that emotional reaction. And so you have to recognize that some of these websites are actually addictive, because they cause an emotional reaction in you and they cause you to think about it and you can’t let it be. You can’t let it go. You have to come back and read more. And the more you read, the more of a reaction there is, and you may think that you know more, but in reality in many cases, you are simply more and more confused. Your attention is more and more scattered.

So the solution here is to recognize something we have said before. We are not asking you personally, each one of you, to look at the earth and look at all of the problems that exist and then work on all of them. We are asking each one of you to pick a certain issue, a certain topic that is close to your heart. Focus your attention on that. Seek to educate yourself. Use your intuition. Make the calls for the ascended masters to step in. Study the topic so that you can actually make more and more precise calls for us to step into that area and then my beloved, when you choose that this is your focus – It can be more than one thing but it is a limited number of things – then you simply make the decision to ignore the rest. You need to recognize here that there is always a balance to be found.

When the consciousness is being raised, the fallen beings will always try to do exactly what they are doing in this age. As we have said before, they would gladly have prevented the internet from being invented. Now that they could not do this, they know that true information can be spread. So they are seeking to use it to spread false information in order to precisely get people to a point where either they are so confused that they don’t know what is real and what is unreal, or they have gone through this emotional reaction, this up and down being disturbed, being pulled into this so many times that they simply do not want to deal with it anymore.

And so we are attempting to give you information that first of all is valid, first of all is real. But we are also attempting to give you information about things that you can do something about, that you can make calls on, that will have an impact, that will have an effect. Now you have just given the invocation on petty problems based on my dictation from last year. And there are many of these fake news or these conspiracy theories are, from the perspective of what will bring the Golden Age, simply petty issues. They’re inconsequential. They may have some reality. They many not. But they’re inconsequential for bringing the Golden Age.

So again, if you are an ascended master student that recognizes ascended master teachings, then take some of the issues that we have brought to your attention. Focus on them. Educate yourself. Make the calls, and then ignore the rest. You are not here to solve every problem. It is not your responsibility personally to solve or deal with or know about every issue on earth. You need to find your personal balance. And this is not so difficult when you have ascended master teachings. For people who do not have ascended master teachings; there is often nothing you can do to help them. They simply have to run through the cycle until they’ve had enough of that experience and they simply stop. Because there is no real solution to this, other than simply taking your attention off of this and not allowing yourself to be pulled into this strong emotional reaction.

We may give you certain teachings, but we know from experience that when we give these teachings the way we do, it usually does not create this very strong emotional reaction in people. Because we of course, do not want to create this reaction because we have no reason to steal your energy. We have all the energy we could possibly need directly from the source. So when you read some kind of news and you feel yourself going into this strong emotional reaction – often in the solar plexus chakra, because it becomes disturbed and starts spinning faster or spinning the wrong way – then you know that this is not coming from a benign source. And then you need to decide simply not to indulge in it, not to engage in it, and then focus on the issues we have given you because what is the solution to all of the conspiracies and all of the manipulation that the fallen ones are doing on this planet?

Well, it is that there are a critical mass of people that raise their consciousness to a level of Christhood that allows us to take certain fallen beings off the planet; and it also is that you serve as the forerunners who can pull up the collective consciousness so that again, the fallen beings can be taken off the planet. So instead of focusing on the conspiracy theories and the fake news, focus on Christhood, focus on raising your consciousness and focus on what we have given you. The teachings we have given you on fallen beings through this messenger alone is the ultimate conspiracy theory but it is also a constructive knowledge that you can actually use to make calls, use to free yourself from the consciousness that allows you to be manipulated and so this is something that can promote growth.

Whereas many of the conspiracy theories out there are not meant to set people free. They are meant to pull them into this emotional reaction that becomes addictive, and that actually in the long run makes them feel more powerless, even though they supposedly know all these things that ordinary people don’t know. Many people go into this state of spiritual pride because they feel they know all these things that other people don’t know, and so they are so smart that they can judge and evaluate everything and they use these theories to judge everything they read in the other news, and it becomes another addictive spiral that really leads you nowhere.

So it is very important for you to realize that when you are on earth and when you are walking the spiritual path; you need to go through a process of selecting out, selecting away and saying, “I am not focusing my attention on this. This is not essential to who I am and to my path. I am deliberately choosing.” It’s not that you are denying. You’re not going into denial. You are not even ignoring it. You are actually consciously choosing not to focus your attention there because as Saint Germain has said, “Where your attention goes, there goes your energy”, and this will pull on your four lower bodies so that you have to follow. And so you choose what’s important for you and then you ignore, or select away, take your attention away from all of these other many topics.

Energy medicine and bio – resonance

Question: Apart from regular medicine, there is appearing some trend like energy medicine. And the specific question would be, as there are some devices already on the market, like for bio-resonance that works like taking some measures on the body, and detecting some inharmonious vibrations and then return it to the body to make it more harmonious. My question would be if this is the right direction and how mature or immature these methods are in the current state.

As I said in my answer about the foods, we are basically in a situation on Earth where the ideal is that people would be able to heal all diseases through consciousness. And so the highest potential of energy medicine is that there are certain people who have reached a state of spiritual maturity, and have educated themselves, and trained themselves, where they have the ability to channel energy from their I AM Presence and from the ascended masters to a certain person, and heal that person directly through the powers of the mind. This would also require, of course, that the people have some understanding of the consciousness behind the disease so they could help the person shift their consciousness and overcome that consciousness. This is the ultimate form of healing.

Yet, as I said, with genetics, because we recognize that the collective consciousness isn’t at that level, we are releasing certain technology and certain knowledge that allows you to create technological devices that can do some of what can be done with the mind. So there is validity to energy medicine. There is certainly validity to experimenting with the process of creating technology that can, for example, detect energies. We have released digital imaging technology that can be developed into detecting the precursors of disease in the emotional, mental, and identity body so that the person can begin to do something before the disease manifests physically. This technology is almost fully there, but it hasn’t been developed and understood because there hasn’t been the vision of the three higher bodies.

And so, there are other forms of technological devices, and I do not wish to comment on specific ones because there are many of them. But what you need to do, both as a health care practitioner, and as a person who is seeking healing, is that you need to use some Christ discernment. You need to tune in with your heart, and you need to sense whether a technology is valid or whether it is not. And one way to do this is to look at the intentions and the level of consciousness of the people who have developed it or are promoting it. There is an old saying that if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. And there are some people who have created a technological device and they claim that this can cure all diseases and solve all problems, and in many cases this means that they have not actually understood what causes disease, namely, conditions in consciousness.

And so, there are many people who are seeking for a magic wand that they can just wave, and you just turn on a certain device and expose people to a certain radiation, and then a disease is cured. But if that disease is a result of what the person has been creating in their three higher bodies for many lifetimes, how can you expect that simply sending an energy ray into the physical body will cure the disease in five minutes? It isn’t realistic, my beloved.

This does not mean that people need to have the highest understanding in order to bring forth a technological device, but it means that you need to look at the maturity, the understanding of the person, and realize that the more maturity, the more understanding they have, the more they are likely to be able to tune in to the ascended master level and receive some more valid technology instead of something that is just a claim.

There is always, when there is new technology, people that will try to cry out that, “Oh this is not real” or “This is a charlatan” or whatever. And you have to recognize that whenever there is a new field, the fallen beings will always send some of their students to enter the field and try to bring forth something that may seem to have promise, but is actually false. And so that is why you need that discernment, and again we have given you tools for discernment. We have told you in your heart to tune into your heart. Does it create a raising sensation or a lower sensation, and this is one measure you can take. But when it comes to healthcare practitioners, you have the greater knowledge, you have the greater experience, and you need to use that along with your Christ discernment to see if a technology actually has some validity to it, or whether it is just some kind of sensationalist claim.

And, this is again, this is not this messenger’s role in this lifetime to be a healer, and so I look to other people who have experience with the healing field to look at this technology, to embrace it, to actually contact each other, form some kind of group of health care practitioners that are also aware of ascended master teachings, and seek to help each other evaluate this kind of technology. Go into the field. See if you can contribute. If you can, come forth with an idea that will improve it and then see what can come of this. We are naturally very willing to work with those of you who have experience in the healing field. And it is not something we will give you through one messenger because many of you are capable of receiving these new ideas directly from us from within yourself.

Feedback from the cosmic mirror

Question: The ascended masters, they do treat us very nicely but the universe sometimes, or a lot of times, doesn’t seem to treat us very nicely, and a lot of times it becomes more a torture, and it brings us face to face with our worst nightmares. And we don’t seem to know enough about how the universe works or how the cosmic mirror works, and my question is like if we have been in embodiment for such a long time, for so many lifetimes, why is it still that we’re getting results in our lives that are not what we want, that we’re getting feedback from the cosmic mirror or the universe that is not really what we intended. It’s oftentimes the opposite of that. So could the masters maybe enlighten us a bit more about how the universe works?

This is a very understandable question that virtually all people have at some point on their path. And the major reason for this is that you need to recognize, as we have said before, what kind of planet you are living on. That the collective consciousness is very low, that there are many people who are below the 48th level of consciousness, and that there is a very drastic influence from the fallen beings.

What often trips up spiritual people is that they have an inner intuitive sense or memory of how things are in the higher realms or on a planet with a higher level of collective consciousness. So you have an expectation that things on Earth should be better, that certain things should not happen. This is natural. This is understandable. But, if you look at the teachings we have given about the fallen beings and the state of the Earth, it is not a realistic expectation, and it is not a constructive expectation because the Earth is by no means an ideal planet.

There are many religions on the Earth that want to portray that this is the only planet created by God, and therefore since God can’t make a mistake, there must be some explanation for why things are the way they are. And that means that the Earth probably is ideal in some way, there is just some explanation we don’t have. But the reality is that the Earth is by no means an ideal planet. It is one of the lowest planets in the sphere in which you live.

And so when you know this, when you recognize that, you see that you are one individual, and you can raise your consciousness, but there is a limit to how much, even with a raised consciousness, that you can take control over your outer situations and avoid certain unpleasant events. And the reason for this is that you are living on a planet with so many other people that have a much lower consciousness, and they are creating all kinds of karmic circumstances, all kinds of conflicts, they have lowered the density of the physical bodies so that disease is manifest and so you have all of these conditions where it is not possible for one person to always take control over your outer circumstances.

It can be your own karma from past lives, but it can also simply be that you are living among a group of people − be it your family, be it your nation, be it humanity at large − that has such a low state of consciousness that just by the fact that you are in physical embodiment, and you are living here, you will be affected by some of these conditions that have been collectively created.

So you will notice, if you look carefully at what we have told you, is that the essence of Christhood and Buddhahood is not to take command over your outer situation, but to take command over your inner situation, and your reaction to external circumstances, so you do not allow the external circumstances to stop your progress on the path, and to stop you from feeling inner peace, to stop you from feeling good about yourselves.

So to return to the question, it is constructive to recognize that not everything that happens to you is a message from the universe or a reflection back from the cosmic mirror. This may seem to contradict what we have said before, including what I have said before. But there is a point on the path where you need to basically look at everything as a message from the universe, because you need to look at, “What is it in my consciousness that attracted this situation to me?” Because there is a point of the path where you can say that basically everything that happens to you is because you have attracted that situation with your state of consciousness.

So, the reason why you were born in a certain country, in a certain family, was because there was something in your consciousness, and that is why you experience these outer conditions. But there does come a point when you go higher on the path, and you have started overcoming some of these limitations in your consciousness, where you may still experience a physical situation that has unpleasant consequences, but you can begin to recognize that you have transcended this in your own consciousness, but the people around you − the people in the group that you are actually here to uplift − they have not, and therefore they have collectively produced the circumstance. But because you are part of the group, you are living in that situation, you are affected by it also.

And so, there comes that point when you go higher on the path where you begin to have this inner sense where, sometimes you pay attention, and you say, “What is it in me that attracted this situation?” And other times, you ignore an outer situation because you realize it doesn’t have a message from the universe, or rather maybe the message is to simply ignore it, or make the best of it and move on with your spiritual path.

There actually comes that point on the path where you are not so focused on outer circumstances, but you are more focused on your reaction. And so, if you feel that you are reacting to a certain circumstance, then you look at, “Why do I react?”

But there also comes a point where you can experience a circumstance, it may be unpleasant, but you don’t even react to it. You just do whatever you have to do to minimize the consequences, and then you move on. You simply ignore it if you can, or you turn it into a positive, or you simply shift your focus, and focus on something else that is more important to your progress on the path.

Looking for patterns

Question: Last month I got spent with the number 44. Everywhere I look, I see 44, 44, 44. So why is this? What is the process behind this thing?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

My beloved, you have many spiritual people who start seeing certain numbers, and you have many people who get very fascinated by this, and some even turn it into almost a religion and they want to know why this is happening. They want to think that this has some major significance. When you see a certain number, it is in most cases because the human brain and the human mind, is programmed to recognize patterns. You are, if you think about this, always looking for patterns. In fact, much of perception is looking for patterns.

That is why we have given you these teachings that you have a perception filter in your three higher bodies, and that you are creating an image based on the filter, and you are projecting that image out upon the world outside of you, and even upon yourself. And so, once you have these projection filters created, your brain, your mind, will look for patterns that fit into the filter and that validate the filter.

And so truly, while it can be amusing, entertaining, that you see these numbers, it has no decisive significance that you need to be concerned about. It is simply that your brain is in a phase where it is focused on a particular number and therefore you start seeing it more. It is not necessarily that the number suddenly occurs more often, but it is simply that your mind recognizes it and sees it more often.

So, you could use it in a positive way to consider, “What perception filter do I have?” But there are also many of the people out there who become completely fascinated by this who could benefit from thinking, “Well, why do I have this desire to feel special, and why do I think that there are outer signs that make me feel special, or that I need outer signs in order to feel special?”

You will see, my beloved, that there is a certain level of the spiritual path, and I’m especially talking about the many people out there who are looking for outer phenomena, where people are looking for some outer confirmation of why they are special. So they go into numerology, astrology, they go to psychics, they look at this, that, or the next thing.

And they try to find some physical sign, some physical manifestation, that is different for them than for most people, and then they try to read some kind of meaning into it and find out why it makes you special that you have this particular configuration in your astrology, or that you were born on this particular date where when you add up the numbers it comes to this and it has this significance.

And I’m not saying that this can’t help people in a certain way, but it is not something that brings you to the levels of Christhood and it is not something that you need to spend a lot of attention on because it can become a blind alley that actually takes you away from the real path. So, at the level of consciousness that you are all at, given that you recognize ascended master teachings, you just look at it as an interesting coincidence, you shrug your shoulders, and then you move on.

Genetically modified food

Question: The masters comment about genetically modified food.

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Well, my beloved, there is of course nothing that is entirely black and white on Earth, as you are beginning to realize. So, you need to recognize here that we are facing a very delicate problem on Earth. Our goal is of course to raise the consciousness, to manifest the Golden Age, to get the fallen beings off the planet, and many other goals like this. But the gap between the highest goal that Saint Germain envisions for his Golden Age, and where the planet is at right now is actually very large in the sense that Saint Germain has a vision that requires such great leaps in consciousness that most people would barely be able to fathom it right now.

So, we have to work with the level of consciousness that most people have right now, and this means that in some cases we are actually using, and even releasing, certain ideas, that are by no means the highest possible. But they can form an intermediary step that can help the planet move forward in some way. So you need to recognize that there are times where we face a very delicate challenge. Should we release a certain idea that can give rise to a new form of technology, knowing full well how the fallen beings might abuse that technology, but still seeing that it can serve some positive purpose?

The ultimate challenge that we face in this regard was the release of the ideas that led to the creation of the atom bomb. Naturally, we could see immediately how there was the potential for a planetary nuclear war that could essentially destroy the entire planet. We also saw that humankind was in a cycle, and there was actually a very profound reason for that which we have not yet exposed, but will expose in the future, where wars could become more and more destructive with conventional weapons. And that the only thing that could realistically stop this process was the release of a weapon that was so terrible in its consequences that even the most war hungry people would be forced to think twice about using it.

And so you see that there are many other technologies where we face a similar dilemma. Ideally, in the Golden Age there are certain changes that will be brought about through consciousness alone. But as an intermediary step, because we cannot bring humanity up to that level quickly, we sometimes have to release a technological solution that brings people, or the planet, forward. And so you actually see that Saint Germain has been doing this since he ascended where he saw, for example, that most people spent so much of their time and attention on making a living that they did not have time and attention left over to pursue the spiritual path, and so he saw that the only realistic way to change the equation was to release technology that could empower people to produce what they need to sustain the physical body without so much labor. And that is why he has released a number of technologies that allowed people to produce more food, for example, and other things, with less human labor involved.

And we are facing other dilemmas like this where we sometimes have to take certain measures. And you see for example, that one of the issues we are facing is that naturally, we know that the planet is designed to sustain ten billion lifestreams and in the Golden Age there will be ten billion lifestreams on the planet. You actually see that there are some scientists and futurists who have already started to talk about the fact that population growth will not continue indefinitely, but that there will come a point where population growth slows and the planetary population stabilizes, and some of them have even predicted that there will be around ten billion people.

But we have seen for many, many years that one of the only ways to overthrow the control that the fallen beings have over Earth is actually to increase the population. We have said it before that if you go back to the Middle Ages and look at the feudal societies where you had a basically agricultural economy, there was only a certain amount of people that could be sustained by what such a society could produce, by the amount of food that could be produced.

And so, when certain technologies and knowledge was released that decreased infant mortality and certain diseases, and increased the lifespan, then you saw that the population started growing and there simply came a point where the feudal societies could not be maintained because they could not feed the people that were alive, and when people are faced with starvation and death, they are willing to take a step to overthrow the political order that otherwise they didn’t think they could overthrow, or that they shouldn’t overthrow because it was the way things were meant to be, and it gave them a sense of stability.

And so you see that population growth is still today a very important factor in challenging the status quo, not only in certain nations but even on a planetary level. We have said before that basically the rich nations of the world are now living like the feudal lords and there are large parts of the world that are like the peasants, but they are becoming so numerous now that they cannot sustain their life and this means that there needs to be an overthrow of the planetary order where the rich nations begin to share much more and there is more wealth created in the poor nations.

So naturally when the population increases we see that what do you do to produce enough food to sustain the population? And you see because of the lower state of consciousness that the planet has, that there are certain diseases that attack certain plants, and therefore it was decided that we would actually release the technology whereby scientists could begin to genetically modify certain plant species to allow them to produce more so that more food could be produced, certain diseases could be counteracted at the genetic level instead of you having to spray them with chemicals that also go into the food and go into the body, and so forth and so on.

And so, what I am saying is that genetically modified foods are by no means an ideal solution. It is not a long term solution, and of course that anytime scientists, especially those who have a materialistic approach, start messing with the genetic code, there is always the potential that something can go wrong by accident or that they can deliberately try to do something that will allow the fallen beings to have control or even allow them to create some kind of condition that now decreases the population and therefore, they think they can get back to a state where they have more control.

So yes, genetic modification, both in terms of foods, but also in the human body, can of course be abused. You saw, for example, in the 1990s, the entire effort to map the human genome. And this was driven by the fact that there were people who thought that it would be possible to identify a gene that created a certain disease, and then it would be possible to come up with some kind of medical technology or medicaments that would modify those genes and therefore eradicate the disease. But what drove this was that there were companies that seriously thought that they could take out a patent on some of this and therefore gain the monopoly on curing certain types of diseases, and they could make inordinate amounts of money.

There were also those who had even more negative intentions and were hoping that it would allow them to modify the human genes, for example, so that the production of children would be decreased with a certain factor so that the population would stop growing because fertility would be lowered through genetic modification. And some of course, still think so and are attempting to do this.

But the bottom line here in terms of genetically modified foods is this: there are many people, the majority of the people on Earth, who are at such a low level of consciousness that the most important thing for them is the survival of the physical body so that they have an opportunity to be in embodiment. And for these people, genetically modified foods basically do not have a decisive influence, neither on their physical bodies nor on their life in general. The influence of this is insignificant in the overall scheme of things. But it is significant that they have food to eat, and so it is better for them to eat genetically modified foods than to either die from starvation or be malnurtured and therefore have a lesser life opportunity because they are constantly undernourished.

Then there are people who have a higher level of consciousness such as the top ten percent and the spiritual people. And again, the influence on you is insignificant because as you know, and as we have told, you are not defined by your genes. Your bodies are influenced by your genes, but your spiritual growth is not when you reach beyond the 48th level of consciousness. You actually, even when you rise above the 48th level of consciousness, you actually start transcending the influence of the physical body, and as you walk through the course of self-mastery and walk towards the 96th level, you come to the point where you have less and less influence from the physical body on your spiritual growth.

The body does not hold back your spiritual growth and so again, you may look at life, you may look at people, and you may look that you have certain diseases or certain tendencies that you carry with you, and you can say, as the popular saying goes, “Oh, this is in my genes.” But as we have told you, the physical body is a product of the three higher bodies, so a disease is not in your genes exclusively. It’s also in your three higher bodies. So, you may be born into a family that has a long history of having a certain disease that goes from generation to generation, but you’re not having the disease because you were born into that family. You were born into that family because you already had the consciousness of the disease in your three higher bodies. That is why you were magnetized to that situation, in most cases, because you wanted to force yourself to confront that consciousness and overcome that consciousness.

So, we could say that the reason we have not given much teaching on genetically modified foods is that we don’t consider it one of the major hindrances that we want you to make calls on. Obviously, there are changes that will happen in the field. Obviously there will come a point where you do not need to physically modify the foods because as the consciousness is raised, the genes of both plant species and the human bodies will change. The real way to change the genes is to change the consciousness, and this will happen as we move further into the Golden Age.

But as an intermediary step, we evaluated that it was necessary to release the knowledge and the technology to physically modify genes because it could have a short-term effect that had a more positive effect on the survivability of the people in poor nations than the negative effects. So the positive outweighed the negative, and therefore we released the technology. It is clear that there will come a point in the Golden Age where it will not be necessary to modify genes physically, but this will require a substantial raising of the consciousness that will take decades to achieve.

Prophecies about Russia

Question: The question is really long, because it has like a pre-history for it. I`ll try to give you just the question. It’s a question about the future of Russia and that was foretold in prophesies. The question: is the prophecy given to Dannion Brinkley about the ascended masters still true? It’s the prophecy that mafia be able to seize the power in Russia, that the mafia will take over the power in Russia. Is it true that Russia will start a blood shedding war with China and what lies behind the ability of the ascended masters to give such detailed visual prophecies and can the ascended masters freely travel for a time to past and future? 

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

You will know this that we give fewer and fewer prophecies through anointed messengers and the reason is simply that we are now giving a higher level of teaching where we are putting much greater emphases on free will, and the influence of free will and the raising of the collective consciousness. Now these prophecies that you mention were not actually given by the ascended masters. This is simply an assumption that has been made, but it is not correct.

It is naturally possible that several nations around the world could have the emergence of crime syndicates that eventually become so powerful that they begin to have a considerable influence on the government through corruption, or blackmail or other kinds of pressure.

The likelihood that the Russian mafia would be able to take over the country and the government is rather small in the sense that if a mafia completely took over the government this could not remain hidden. Then the mafia would actually be faced with some of the questions that any government faces, that if you are suddenly running the country then if you exploit the people beyond a certain degree, you will only harm yourself. But this is a very low probability that you really do not need to make calls upon.

In terms of starting a war with China, again this is a very, very low probability. It is an insignificant probability for a variety of reasons that I need not go into here because they are quite complex, but it is not something that ascended master students need to be concerned about.

In terms of the future of Russia well, what we have given you again and again is that we cannot freely travel into the future and see what is guaranteed to happen. Everything depends on free will. The reason why I announced that the three conferences we have this year were important was, as I explained in Holland, that there are certain situations where a nation or even a group of nations can be at a critical junction, at a kind of tipping point where there is a potential for the nation to go into a downward spiral or into in upward spiral, and a difference between it going up or down is very small, and that is why even a relatively small number of ascended master students can have a positive influence on tipping the scales towards the positive spiral. And of course, how can we predict how many people will chose to embrace ascended master teachings and make the calls in the future?

And so, what we have given you at this conference and even at previous conferences is a much more positive view of the future of Russia, instead of giving you these dire prophecies and truly, as we move more and more deeply into the golden age, all of these very severe prophecies that were given from various sources will become increasingly irrelevant simply because those of them, and it was a rather small percentage that had some validity at the time they were given, will become irrelevant because of the raising of the collective consciousness.

And so, as ascended master students we encourage you not to focus on these very severe prophecies that you find from many nations and that you find all over the internet because they only serve to keep you in a consciousness of fear; and you recognize what Saint Germain said that if you who are the ascended master students cannot move out of fear, then how can the rest of the population in your nation.

Naturally, you cannot believe that the world might end next week without being in the consciousness of fear and so, generally speaking, avoid focusing your attention on these very dire prophecies. Truly embrace the opportunity to live in a non-fear-based world because as we have said before, the world is not going to end. There may be bumps in a road as we have called them, but the progress on the road towards the golden age will continue.

As was said about your divine plan, the future of a nation is not set in stone. It is an interactive process where there might, at a certain point in time be certain potentials for what could happen in the future but as the people are willing to shift their consciousness, other scenarios now come into play and when a nation begins to move in a certain direction, some of the other potentials fall away and new ones open up. That is why it is possible to have a certain potential for a severe event to happen, but by even a slight shift in the collective consciousness a nation can move on a different course that moves it further and further away from that event and towards more positive events.

So again, you who are ascended master students need to focus on this potential of raising your own consciousness and thereby pulling up the collective so you move away from all of these dire prophesies.

The flame, gift and contribution of the Russian people

Question: From the seven rays what is the flame that represents the Russian nation? What is our gift or contribution to the whole?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

There isn’t one of the seven rays that represents any nation exclusively. All nations naturally have a potential to express several flames and depends upon the free will of the people and how many people in a certain nation desire to embody a certain flame, express that flame. The Russian nation is quite strong on the first ray and that is partly why you have seen that perversion of power that you saw during the Soviet era.

It is also partly why you see so many among the people who have that characteristic perversion of the first ray that they do not want to make decisions, and so it may seem ironic that when many people do not want to make decisions a nation is still strong on that ray, but it is because the nation has the potential of course, to overcome the perversions and manifest the positive aspects of power.

If the Russian nation had not been strong on the first ray it could not have been the focus of bringing the Soviet Union, and although you can say that this was a perversion of the first ray, it still shows that there is a certain momentum on the first ray of power that when perverted can create these more extreme expressions of power.

Well, the contribution to the whole that the Russian nation has the potential to make is also a complex issue because there are of course many, many contributions. In a sense we could say that in a nation as large as Russia, you cannot reduce this to just one topic. It doesn’t quite give meaning because there are so many potentials that could be expressed as the nation rises towards the Golden Age consciousness. We have already mentioned some of the potentials that Russian people have in previous dictations and the previous conferences and so you need to not lock your minds on just one potential because there are so many for a nation with so many people and a nation that is so large.

Of course, one contribution that certainly could be made in connection with the dictations we have given at this conference was if the Russian people would be willing to look at the Soviet past and make the changes that Maitreya and others have talked about of really being willing to transcend the abuse of power that created and sustained the Soviet Union. This would be a very positive example of how a nation can become the focal point for such an abuse of power and rise above it. Again, there are many other contributions that Russia and the Russian people can make and will make as we move into the Golden Age.

Protection from infection

Question: How can we protect ourselves against viruses, kind of weapon spread by the fallen beings. How can we be healed from a wide open infection if we already got infected?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

Well a somewhat complex topic my beloved, because you recognize of course, that there is a connection between all conditions manifest in the material realm and a state of consciousness. As we have taught, everything that is material has a parallel in the emotional, mental and identity realms. So there are of course, many practical things you can do to protect yourself from infection and I need not go into them here, and you should of course take whatever practical measures you feel are relevant to your situation.

The ultimate protection is spiritual protection when you walk the path to Christhood. You need to recognize that all of the creations of the fallen beings that manifest any kind of disease are of course expressions of a lower state of consciousness. So when you transcend that state of consciousness and reach a certain level of Christhood you become much less susceptible to these infections.

Can this guarantee that you will never be infected? Well, it can to a large degree but never 100% because of conditions in the physical octave. And so, once you have been affected naturally you need to take practical physical steps for healing but it is again, seek the raising of consciousness. Seek higher levels of Christ consciousness. Use the opportunity to truly look for the fixed points that Guru Ma talked about in your consciousness and transcend them so that you can move on to a higher level of Christhood. This will either mean that you actually physically overcome the disease or that you have come to a point where it does not hinder the unfoldment of your divine plan or the expression of your Christhood.

Question: Question about the dragon in the emotional plane that Master More revealed at the Novorsorbisk conference in 2015 – what has developed on this issue since then?

Your calls have had a very positive impact in terms of reducing the strength and power of this dragon. This could be shown by the fact that we have not really made an issue of it for this conference because there were other issues that is was more important to focus on in order to move forward.

There is still value in you being aware of this issue and making the calls on it but it is also important to make the calls on the issue we have brought to your attention at this conference.

The president of Kazakhstan, N. Nazarbayev

Question: The question is about the president of Kazakhstan, Mr. Nazarbayev. What type of personality is he? What does he hide from the people? What is he afraid of? In 2011 Saint Germain said that the people of Kazakhstan are lucky to have such a leader. What does he mean and what is going on in Kazakhstan now on the political scene, what changed since 2011?

Naturally, we will find opportunity to speak more about this when we have a conference in Kazakhstan next year. Nevertheless, many people have looked at this remark that I made and deliberately or perhaps ignorantly misinterpreted it. I didn’t mean that they were lucky to have such a leader in the sense that this was the perfect or ideal leader, but they were lucky in the sense that they could have had a leader that was far worse than what they have, and they could have had a leader who was not open to any kind of change.

Naturally in any country where you have a leader who cannot really be challenged by the political system, you will have things going on behind the scenes. Such a leader will always be afraid of being overthrown by a violent revolution and losing his or her grip on power. Nevertheless, there have been important reforms made in Kazakhstan including the shift to a western alphabet. Many other changes are in the works and there is an awareness on the part of the president of this need to ensure that the country is not thrown into a crisis when he eventually either dies or has to retire. So therefore, this is an example of a person who although he still maintains a clearly dictatorial form of government is a better example than most of the other leaders out there who have that same kind of power.

Embodying spiritual flames

Question:  If I am of one flame (for example the flame of freedom) I express myself in one direction but feel inside myself a direction to express another flame, how can this happen inside myself? Is it possible to express more than one flame?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

Well my beloved, this is again an example of how you cannot take all teachings literally and understand them in a linear way. It is true that you can come out of a certain god-flame, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t express other flames. The flames are not separated.

You also have to recognize that many times when you are in embodiment it is not necessarily a particular god-flame you are expressing but one of the seven rays. Of course, as we have given the course on self-mastery you realize that we are taking you up through the seven rays, from the first to the seventh, because part of having Christhood is manifesting mastery on all seven rays. That means you learn to express all seven rays. We have in previous ascended master organisations seen people who have become very fixated on a certain flame for example, many people thought that they were blue flame and out of the first ray, or that they were strong on the first ray or that it was their job to express the first ray. But all of you need to express all of the seven rays so it is only natural as you move forward on your personal path, you express more than one flame and there may be periods where you are more focused on one flame and then you shift to another and express that flame for a while.

So this is not only possible but we have many examples of it in a sense of the ascended master has learned to express all of the seven rays and many people as they go towards the higher levels of Christhood, they even learn to express various of what we might call god-flames, or spiritual flames that are beyond the seven rays.

How to remember your divine plan

Question: Maitreya mentions in his book, “Master Keys to Spiritual Freedom”, that we have amnesia that we forget everything of our divine plan when we take embodiment. What can we do to overcome this amnesia and remember our divine plan?

Answer from the Ascended Master Maitreya through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

Read the rest of my book. Naturally we have given you many, many tools and it is necessary to do a variety of things to remember your divine plan, including of course making the calls for the transmutation of the energy in your four lower bodies that blocks your clear connection with your I Am Presence, studying the teachings to get greater and greater insights, increasing your intuition and so on. But it is extremely important for you to realize that there never comes a point while you are in embodiment where you suddenly stand and you see your entire divine plan revealed before you in its entirety. That is the whole point of being in embodiment.

Your divine plan is not something that is set in stone that defines every step you should take while you are in embodiment. Your divine plan involves many, many situations where you need to make a choice because that is how you will grow and so, your divine plan is not a linear plan that can be mapped out so that you take this step and that step and the next step.

Your divine plan brings you to a certain situation where you have a variety of choices. You make one of those choices – that brings you to another situation and now your divine plan defines a variety of choices for that situation, and that means that as you make these choices throughout your life your divine plan gradually shifts so that if you make a higher choice you can go higher, if you make lower choices, you cannot go as high. And so your divine plan is not chiseled into a stone tablet, your divine plan is so to speak an interactive plan; could be compared somewhat to a computer game where the choices you make at one level determine which level you move onto and so your divine plan shifts all the time, and of course, if you knew ahead of time what was the highest possible choice in a given situation you would not grow from following that divine plan.

You grow by making choices based on the situation, based on what you can see and then learning from that, this then raises your consciousness. If you were mechanically following a pre-programmed plan, then you would not grow, you could spend an entire lifetime not growing. This is what happens to many of the people that other masters have talked about and that I’ve mentioned earlier also that get into a kind of coma where they are not growing for an entire lifetime. It is because they dare not make choices based on the limited knowledge they have, and there are even spiritual students, even ascended master students who have used our teachings to justify why they have to follow a certain outer program and do not have to make the kind of choices that you need to make in order to grow in Christhood. And so, this of course is not what we desire to see happen, we desire our students to become more and more willing to make these choices, to not look at them in black and white terms, but to simply learn from every choice and come up higher in consciousness.

ISIS and Russia

Question: In Russian social media there is a lot of information about ISIS but almost nothing about North Korea.

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

Well my beloved, social media cannot be considered an entirely accurate way to get your news or to find out what is truly important, but it can of course be used to see what is important to the people of a certain nation. But this can in some cases be induced by the regular media or even by governments where people are fed a certain line that something is a greater threat than it is. You will see this in all nations around the world, where there is always a certain manipulation of the news media that have a tendency to exaggerate certain things.

Quite frankly, the threat of Islamic State and other Islamic terrorist groups has been exaggerated since 911. You will say of course, there have been recent attacks in England and France and other nations, and so does this not prove that they are still a threat. Well yes my beloved, certainly they are a threat but look at what Saint Germain said in his dictation of how the fallen beings have used this as an excuse for getting democratic governments to infringe upon the rights of their citizens.

And so, quite frankly IS is less of a threat to the western world than it is to the Arabic world as you can see in the situation in Syria. It is really something that instead of putting attention on this from the western perspective of how IS is a threat to the west, it should actually be seen as a sign that the religion of Islam has gone into a state of self destruction, simply because it has become a closed system. It has remained a closed system for far too long, with its Sharia law and other very conservative, reactionary and Islamic initiatives and groups. It has reached the proportion where Muslims are now killing each other.

IS have killed far more Muslims than non-Muslims. Really, this is what people in the west should be focusing on so that it could hopefully gradually spill over and people in Islamic countries would also begin to talk about this so that you could force a situation where there is that awareness that all Islamic nations, all Muslim nations, need to take a critical look at their religion and acknowledge the very fact that it is simply out of touch with the times, and that drastic reforms are needed.

If those reforms are not made, you will continue to see more of these groups, extremist groups, where Muslims will be killing Muslims and you could in a sense say that the civil war, so called, in Syria is just a preview of what could come all over the Arabic world if Islam is not reformed and opened up so that quite frankly, Islam can become compatible with a true democracy, which Islam in its more fundamentalist form simply isn’t right now.

Ideas from The Disappearance of the Universe by Gary Renard

Question: In the book by Gary Renard, called The Disappearance of the Universe, it talks about you becoming an ascended master in the future and coming back to the present. I wonder if myself could be an ascended master in the future and appear in the present time and teach me directly. If myself who will ascend in the future another part of my spirit or self can the ascended master who will be myself in the future appear in a form that could be seen and touched by the physical body in the present. For example if I am embodied lifestream of Saint Germain is it possible that I can read Saint Germain who will be myself physically or be my teacher in the current life.

My beloved the ideas expressed here are not reality. It is not so that even though you will be an ascended master in the future, you can appear to yourself in your present life. You have not ascended yet, so the ascended master you will be in the future is not an ascended master right now. When you ascend you will not be Saint Germain. Saint Germain is already Saint Germain.

You see my beloved, these kind of ideas do not come from the ascended masters, they come from beings in the mental realm who are seeking to play on the fact that there are some people in embodiment who are very attuned to the mental realm but who are not willing to go beyond and attune to the real ascended masters in the higher identity realm or the spiritual realm. This is because these people want to seem very clever intellectually.

It is what Saint Germain talked about earlier, where there is a certain intellectual elite who have defined what it means to be intelligent. And who are using this in order to gain a feeling of being superior to other people. You also see this among spiritual students who want to have a very intellectual teaching that is very difficult to grasp for the average person. So that they can feel that they are superior because they are studying this teaching. They feel that it is so advanced, but it is really not advanced, it is simply incomprehensible.

So my beloved the ascension is a very linear process, it is possible that you are out of the same spiritual lineage as for example Saint Germain. Therefore you may have an affinity with Saint Germain. But when you ascend you will not be Saint Germain, you will be an ascended master in your own right. But that ascended master that you will be is not yet an ascended master. But if you are out of the lineage of Saint Germain, why would you need a substitute for Saint Germain, why isn’t he good enough for you?

So you see my beloved it simply makes no sense what is taught in this book. There is no sense whatsoever to it. There are real ascended masters who are ascended, it is our role to help those of you who have not yet ascended.

Why would you want some other mystical master that no-one has ever heard about to appear to you and teach you. What would that master be able to do that I cannot do? So you see this is an example – a typical example of these teachings from the mental realm that are fascinating to some people, but really when you think about them and use our teachings as your frame of reference you see that they are nonsenical.

It is the same as claiming that an ascended master has physically appeared to you. How would that physical appearance take place? Why would it be necessary in this day and age, when you have the capacity to tune into us so that you can experience us with your higher bodies rather than with the physical body? Again this is a day and an age where we do not have the dispensation to appear so that the majority of humankind could see us with their physical eyes. That is why we need those who are more sensitive to tune into us with your higher bodies, to purify your higher bodies so you can reach up to our level.

That is why we train messengers who can received messages from us, so that those of you who are not yet ready to attune directly to us can learn and evolve your ability to do this. We do not physically appear when it is not necessary to do so and if a certain person had a physical apparition would it not demonstrate that this person was not able to attune to the real ascended masters. But only able to attune to lower beings in the lower realms. So you see my beloved we work according to the law of free will, those masters who imitate us in the lower realms do not have that restriction because they do not respect peoples free will.

Non-traditional medicine and vaccinations

Question: I would like to ask a question about traditional and non-traditional medicine as well as about vaccinations. Recently many people started to refuse to vaccinate themselves and their children explaining the decision by the fact of severe consequences of the body often worse than the disease itself and by vaccination inefficiency. But many people continue to do the vaccination. From the teachings of the past we know that viruses are the creation of the fallen beings in order to destroy human bodies, the temple of God. I understand that the planet Earth is now a rather dark place and it has many different viruses and in fact it is not quite clear to me, should we protect ourselves by doing some vaccinations and I am wondering do these vaccinations really protect people or we should trust the light of the living Christ that is able to transform all substances that are not of the light.

I have given an answer previously about the topic of vaccinations, so I will just give you a brief summary. You recognise that you live on a dark planet where the consciousness has been lowered considerably and therefore it is sometimes necessary to take measures that are not in any way ideal.

There are indeed many diseases that are created by the fallen beings, and basically you need to ask yourself this.The body has an immune system, why can it not overcome all diseases? It is because when a disease is deliberately designed by the fallen beings to bypass the immune system, the immune system does not contain information on how to deal with the disease. So the principle of vaccination is that you introduce a weakened form of the disease causing bacteria or virus, so that the body’s immune system can code itself with the information it needs to combat a more severe form, a deadly form of the disease.

Now of course this is not an ideal measure, of course this is not something that was done before the fall into duality, it is not something that is done on a natural planet.But on a planet where the fallen ones have been allowed to embody it is a necessary measure.

There was certainly a period in the world where there was beginning to be more and more communication between different parts of the world and therefore diseases that were local to one part of the world could now be spread to other parts of the world where people had never encountered them and their immune system had no defence. So based on this it was necessary and it was a technology sponsored by us to create vaccinations. So it is not that the vaccination protects the body but that the vaccination enables the body’s immune system to encode in itself the information needed to combat a disease.

Of course this can have certain side effects which is why we have said that now in the modern age especially in the more developed countries where they have been vaccinating for a long time, people need to be able to choose whether they will vaccinate themselves or their children. This is not something that the state should force upon them unless there is some very real immediate threat to the population.

Now, I have also said previously that you need to simply let go of all the conspiracy theories because it isn’t realistic that the entire medical establishment in the world is taken over by some conspiracy.

So when it comes to natural forms of medicine well, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Reiki, herbal medicines, many other forms of traditional, alternative medicines all have validity, they all have their uses. There are of course many new healing modalities that are being developed and released and many of those also have validity.

So it is not so that we can give a blanket statement and say this particular form of alternative medicine can solve all of your problems. Because a disease is a very, very individual topic or issue, it is not so that every person who contracts a particular disease has the same reason for contracting it. They have some commonality but it is not so that you can develop a particular remedy that will cure all people. Traditional medicine has discovered the same thing. So you need to experiment, you need to tune in, use your intuition to find which healing modality works for you and we clearly recommend that you do not lock your mind that there is only one way to cure a disease and therefore you do not explore other forms of healing.

Incarnation of ascended being

Question: Is it true that Mother Mary had to gain her ascension again?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

The linear mind always wants to do what the linear mind is designed to do and set up a very linear view of everything. This has a limited value when it comes to understanding the more complex topics of incarnation and ascension. I do not wish to go into great detail here because I may do it at some other time when I have given teachings that will make it easier for people to relate to this. My embodiment as Mother Mary was not my first embodiment on Earth. It is not so that I descended into that embodiment just for the purpose of being the mother of Jesus. I did have previous embodiments.

Now my beloved, regardless of the spiritual attainment that you may have before you come to Earth, once you come to Earth you become subject to the laws of this planet, to the mass consciousness. You become subject to the Law of Free Will in the sense that regardless of your previous attainment you do not come into embodiment with the full awareness of your attainment or with that level of consciousness. Why is that so my beloved? Because with the ascended consciousness you cannot take embodiment on Earth. You need to lower your consciousness.

In the book by Hilarion (The Mystical Initiations of Vision) he describes how for each of the 144 levels of consciousness there is a certain illusion. When you are walking the path towards the ascension you overcome one illusion at a time. Now, you understand that those lifestreams who were originally created specifically to embody on Earth, they were created at the 48th level and so they came into embodiment at those levels. Now if you have a being from the ascended realm who descends in order to take embodiment then that being has to lower its consciousness by putting on illusion after illusion until it has lowered its consciousness to whatever level it decides to take embodiment at for the first time.

This means that you do not come into embodiment with a full awareness of say, an archaea or an ascended master or a person from a vastly different planet. You come into embodiment with a limited awareness and your challenge then is – can you raise your consciousness from there or do you go down in consciousness? You understand my beloved, that it is very rare that ascended masters or angels as you have come to see them, take embodiment because there is always a risk that you can go into duality and you can lower your consciousness. It is true that if you do choose to take embodiment again you become subject to the consciousness of this planet, you can potentially fail and therefore you have to win your ascension again.

However, this is a very complex topic. There is more to say about it. I do not wish to go into it at the present time for a variety of reasons but first of all, I do not feel that we have given certain teachings that are the foundation for your understanding this. And so, I am simply saying I have given you what I want to give you for now but do not consider this the final word on this topic.

Form and elementals

Question: Question is about form and elementals

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

Naturally any form is not strictly speaking created by the elementals but more generated by the elementals in the sense that elementals do not envision a form and then create it. They take on a vision that is given to them or imposed upon them by self-conscious beings with free will and so the elementals then out-picture the form. This can be a plant, it can be a tree, it can be a rock, it can be an animal.

The reason why I had given the teaching that I want people to focus on the elementals not having a separate form is that so many people have become attached to these very cute images of gnomes or sylphs or other forms of elementals and it is actually not helpful for people’s Christ discernment that they are locked into these ways of envisioning the elementals. That is why I gave the image that it is more constructive to think that the elemental takes on the form, becomes the form, and it is the way it is for elementals at the more basic level.

Now we have also given teachings that elementals can gradually grow in consciousness and as they gain more experience, as they gain a higher level of consciousness then they can begin to have more of a separate form, but these forms are not forms that I want to give you a specific image of because if you are strictly honest you can see that what people have done in the past is that some people have had the ability to sense that there are beings beyond the physical.

There have been many people who have had this more attunement with the earth level and they have been able to sense the gnomes, for example. So they have correctly sensed that there are certain beings but then they have done what people are so used to doing. They have taken a vision based on how life is at the human level and projected that vision onto the elementals, and that is why they have projected this image over time that the elementals look like these cute little gnomes with long beards or long braids in their hair and wooden shoes and this and that. While this was acceptable in previous times when people had a more mythical, magical state of consciousness and didn’t necessarily take these things so literally, it has become non-constructive in the modern time where people are more literal — more rational, and so you have these people who live in today’s age but they are still holding on to this image.

You have many more people who are in the literal, rational frame of mind and they simply cannot believe that elementals exist because it makes no sense to them that they look like these old images and they’re in a sense correct. That’s why I have given a new teaching that I want you who are our students to let go of these old images and set yourselves free from them but first of all, set the elementals free from them so they can be who they are, they can fulfill their mission and those who have developed a higher consciousness can then move on freely without feeling like they have to respond sometimes to what human beings are projecting upon them.

You need to recognize that elementals serve. They do not have self-awareness. They can as we have said become individualized, receive the three-fold flame and then take embodiment as humans. But as long as they are still elementals, they are not self-aware so they do not make the choice as such, and they are very used to responding to humans. So when humans are projecting upon them these images, some elementals feel obligated to respond and even take on that form to some degree, but then it traps the elemental in that form preventing it from moving on.

So in the modern age it is more constructive that you can simply let go of this, realize that it belonged to a past age, that it was cute, innocent but that it simply isn’t the highest view. And then you just let it go.

Four lower bodies and Christhood

Question: Is that true that the four lower bodies of the lifestream always exist together, even if the lifestream is not embodied in the physical octave? When the lifestream begins to unidentify with its four lower bodies do they actually stop to exist?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

You have to make a distinction my beloved, between the physical body as a physical thing and that aspect of the mind that is most closely connected to the body. So, what we teach is that when you come into a particular physical embodiment you are taking on a physical body created specifically for that lifetime. But you already have in your four bodies an aspect of the mind that is designed to link up directly with the physical body you are taking on in that lifetime, and obviously that aspect of the mind you carry with you from lifetime to lifetime. But when you pass out of embodiment, of course the physical body is dissolved.

So you do not carry the physical body with you, but you carry that aspect of what we might call the physical mind, the physical aspect of the mind along with of course, the emotional, mental, and identity levels. And so, these four levels of the mind, not the physical body, are also together when you out of embodiment and you are working on them when you are out of embodiment according to your level of consciousness.

They are many lifestreams on Earth that are not awakened to the spiritual path and therefore cannot really consciously work on their four lower bodies while they are out of embodiment. They often spend their time out of embodiment either resting or going through some other experience that might have an impact on their continued growth. But those who are on their spiritual path, especially when you move onto the stages of Christhood, you can work consciously on your four lower bodies in between embodiments. You can do a variety of things. You can purify them, you can heal them of traumas and wounds, you can also according to your level of attainment, create certain patterns in the four lower bodies.

It is not the best way to describe it that when you begin to attain Christhood, your four lower bodies do not exist for you because as long as you are in embodiment, you need the four lower bodies. You are directly connecting to the physical body through that lowest aspect, the physical mind, but your I Am Presence, the light from the I Am Presence still flows through all levels from the identity to mental, to the emotional, and then into the physical. So, you always need four lower bodies as long as you are in embodiment.

Now what happens as you move towards Christhood, is of course that you have purified your bodies, you have raised your awareness so you have depersonalised your life as we have now said several times, and that means among other things that you are not letting the four lower bodies limit you and your expression. You are not pulled into patterns of wounds in the four lower bodies.

So, we can say that as you move towards Christhood, your four lower bodies have less and less of a limiting impact on you, both how you feel, how you look upon life, but also your ability to express yourself. In other words, there isn`t the resistance in your four lower bodies that there is at lower levels.

Many people have such patterns, such accumulated energy that there is a resistance in their four lower bodies and when they attempt to, for example, envision an idea of what they would like to see happen to them and put their attention and energy on it, then there is resistance in the four lower bodies that decreases or diminishes their creative efforts.

As you move towards Christhood you have less and less of this resistance and so you can come to a point where you simply are not limited. You actually pay very little attention to your four lower bodies or you recognize that sometimes there will be a reaction in your emotional body to some event or some projection from the outside but you are conscious enough that you can decide not to go into it, not to feed it your energy, not let it take on a life of its own where it becomes a spiral that feeds on itself and therefore takes your energy.

And so the same in the mental body: there can be certain beliefs that are in the collective consciousness and you might be in a situation where you encounter this belief or it is projected at you, for example, by a group of people, but you are conscious enough that you can see that this is not truly what you believe or how you see life and therefore, you can avoid feeding it energy. You don`t have to run with that thought and keep going with that thought or think that it has any significance for you.

The same of course is at the identity levels: so many times there are projections against you, that you should behave like the other human beings or be a normal human being and as you move towards Christhood you pay less and less attention to this. You are focused on being who you are, you are focusing on your divine plan, your I Am Presence; you are focusing on being the open door so that you can be spontaneous in the moment.

Obviously if you have a lot of patterns in your four lower bodies that are pulling you into various reactions then you cannot be an open door for I Am Presence or the Ascended Masters. So this is part of depersonalising your life when you do not have this resistance or you need diversion in your four bodies that pull you away from what you are really here for.

The money changers today

Question: Jesus, what would he do with the money changers in the temples now?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Novosibirsk, Russia in 2017.

Well my beloved, today the money changers are not just in the temple but in every institution of society. The money changers are not simply those who exchange money. That was just one expression of them at that particular time. But the money changers are always those who set themselves up in a privileged position so that they can take advantage of the people.

There has always been a tendency for the evolution of a priesthood that wants to set themselves up between the people and God but the money changers are those who want to set themselves up to gain some special advantage here on Earth. So one expression of the money changers in today’s society are those who are in a governmental position where they have some special authority to, for example, get money from the people even what you normally call corruption but sometimes even in a more sanctioned way where the people have to pay them. Or the people have to be afraid of them and pay them special respect. And so, you see this in every society but in some instances more than others.

In many of the more developed countries in the world you see that bureaucracy is a huge enterprise in society and many people in the bureaucracy have these special privileged positions. Sometimes they are like mini gods who can decide the lives of the people, what they can do and what they cannot do, if they can build a house, or where they can build a house and many of these other things. So this is really the greater meaning of the concept of the money changers. Many of these money changers are taking advantage of their position to extract money in the form of corruption, but not all of them.

Some are honest, some are even well meaning but they believe they know better than the people. Some of them even believe they know better than the politicians who have been elected by the people even though the bureaucrats have not been elected. And so there are many among them who are like semi gods, like gods on Earth where they are in such a position that no body from above or below their position in society can actually gainsay them, can correct them, can question them, and this is what is the true meaning of the money changers.

What would I do with them today? Well, I would do what I have been doing by making people aware of the path to Christhood and helping them walk that path so that they raise themselves above feeling that they need to pay special respect to these money changers. This doesn’t mean that you necessarily need to go out and object or rebel against them. There are many cases where as the Christed being you render unto Caesar that which is Caesars’ in the sense that you just do what you need to do to do the practical things in your life and then you don’t pay much attention to it.

But I can tell you that the only real solution is, as in any other area, that you first of all raise the collective consciousness to a higher level but then you also raise the conscious awareness of the people where you will see that there are actually countries, mostly in the west where they have gone through different phases where the people have become dissatisfied with the bureaucracy and have simply demanded a change. You have seen in some nations where it has led to a gradual shift so that there has been a willingness by the politicians, by the media, to focus on the bureaucrats to not allow them to put themselves in these privileged positions and this has caused a shift that the bureaucracy is there to serve the people, it is not the people who are there to serve the bureaucrats.

And so in some nations considerable progress has been made where people do not fear the bureaucracy, they do not accept that they have to pay bribes where bribes simply are not accepted, corruption is not accepted, and you have this attitude that the bureaucrats are there to serve the people. This means that those who could not make that shift in consciousness have retired or fallen away and you have attracted a new kind of people to the bureaucracy who have the attitude of be willing to serve.

And so this is, of course, a very important shift in every nation including here in Russia something you can hold the vision for, make the calls for, but at any point in time there is a certain bureaucracy and you need to do what you need to do to move forward with your own plans or with your plans as a group. And so you render unto Caesar that which is Caesars’ in the sense you do what you need to have to but you do not let that hinder your Christhood or your progress on the path.
