Yogananda, his teachings and ascended masters

Question: Was Yogananda sponsored from the Masters or Christ? Was he bringing Jesus Christ’s true teachings to the west? He talked about Christ consciousness.

Yes, Yogananda was sponsored by the Ascended Masters. But what is sponsorship? There are different levels of sponsorship. He was definitely in tune with us. And he was able to tune in also to Jesus and bring forth many, many teachings, that were certainly very, very profound compared to the teachings that you find in the West among Christian religions. It doesn’t mean that Yogananda necessarily brought forth the only teaching on Jesus that could ever be brought forth. as we have said before any teaching is brought in a certain context. Being that he was from an Eastern context, that was to some degrees an advantage because he was more free than if he had grown up in the West in a Christian environment.

But it also meant that he had a certain worldview based on his Eastern cultural background, that was to some degree a limitation. It isn’t to in any way invalidate what he brought forth but it’s again, one of those situations where we don’t encourage anybody to look at the teachings on Christ brought forth by Yogananda, and the teachings brought forth in the Summit Lighthouse or through this dispensation, and then you use the analytical mind to compare and find discrepancies or contradictions. That isn’t a constructive approach.

If you feel a personal intuitive prompting to study Yogananda’s teachings by all means do so. If they give you some value, if they give you insights and inspiration, good. But just don’t use the analytical mind to compare. The teachings brought forth through Yogananda were valid, they were unique, they can help a certain group of people. If you are in that group, so then all is well for you. But don’t force yourself to study them. And don’t compare with a linear mind. Let each teaching give you its own experience. In other words, you could use Yogananda’s teachings on Christhood to gain certain insights, you could use the teachings brought forth through this messenger to gain other insights. And there is no contradiction, there is no conflict there, even though the linear mind might be able to find them. But if you go beyond the linear mind, you can grow from studying both. If you feel prompted to study both.

Death of the separate self and karma

Question: If I understand correctly, karma is created by the separate selves. Then when one of them dies, does it also dispel the karma created with it, the energy and the pain, which is stored in it?

Well, the question really would be, can you let a separate self die unless you have dealt with the energy and the pain and the trauma that is stored in that self or created by that self. And it depends on how you define karma, if you define karma as an energy impulse sent out, that cycles through the four levels of the material universe and comes back to you, then the karma isn’t dissolved when the separate self dies.

But if you go with a newer definition, where karma is very much tied to the psychology, and where it is actually in your own four lower bodies, where you are recreating a situation, as long as you have that karma, that karmic pattern in your psychology, then you can see that when you do actually let a self die, then you dissolve that psychological condition that the self had created, and then you are free of that.

There comes a point where you just have to let the past be the past, and leave it behind

Question: I have a worry about a problem in Europe and in my country. There is a certain group of people from outside of Poland who are trying to take the property in the name of legislation 447 signed by President Trump called “Just”. It is supposed to compensate or restitute survivors of the holocaust. The problem was resolved by the Polish government years ago in the 1960s and there was no reason to compensate anybody anymore. When I talk about my worries, everyone takes me for an anti-Semite, who I’m not at all. There is no information about this problem in the media, I just see that those people trying to do this business with the holocaust, and they have nothing to actually do with the survivors. Have you got a perception on this?

There simply comes a point where people need to move on, and leave certain things behind. And in terms of the holocaust, that point came quite some time ago. Naturally, we are not in support of this kind of legislation, which can only be created to create conflict and struggle among people. And we are very well aware of how the holocaust has been used by the Jews, by the State of Israel to attempt to create a situation where anyone who criticizes the State of Israel and the policies and the actions of the State of Israel, is labeled as anti-Semitic. And this, of course, is, quite frankly, an expression of the fanatical mindset that the Jews have been in, since they fell prey to the illusion that they were God’s chosen people. When you take what we have said, at this conference about fanaticism, you can see that the very idea that you are God’s chosen people, and therefore fundamentally different from all other people, is nothing but fanaticism.

I am not anti-Semitic, I’m not even anti-fanatic. I am pro humanity. And I am pro helping all people see that basic humanity in themselves and see it in each other. Because that is the only way that humankind will be able to leave behind its violent past. Are the Jews the only people in history who have been exposed to atrocities? I think not. So how can humanity move on? Well, there comes a point where you just have to let the past be the past, and leave it behind. Because as we have said before, what is it you do when you forgive? You set yourself free. Have the Jews set themselves free from the past? If they have not forgiven, they have not set themselves free.

Does that mean that the rest of humanity is now obligated to give some special status to the Jews, because they have not changed themselves? I think not. And I don’t think anybody else who has that basic sense of humanity will think so either.

How to change the educational system?

Question: This question is about the educational system. How can we help schools to gain the power to listen to the needs of children? What is necessary so that they will adjust the system or let go instead of holding on to what the government wants and the schools think they have to do in order to receive funds for the school. This is to prevent more mental problems with children and young adults as has already been mentioned?

This is a complex question, because it really requires changes at many levels of society, which we have talked about at this conference. Shifting out of the materialistic paradigm would be necessary, in order to really change the educational system.

It is very true that as a potential inroad, one could focus on mental illness. There are countries where mental health care practitioners have become aware, that even children have more and more mental health issues at even younger and younger ages. Therefore, it could be argued that the school system has a responsibility to help these children know something about psychology, understand how psychology works, therefore being able to help themselves rather than having the problem become so severe that they have to burden the system at the cost to society. This might be an argument that could be used.

How successful will it be? Well, that depends on a lot of things, but as always money talks. So, if you can show that this could actually save society from a cost by helping children at an early age so that they don’t burden the system at an older age, then that might be something that could have an impact – at least in some countries.

What is the difference between willful ignorance and innocent ignorance?

Question: What is the difference between willful ignorance and innocent ignorance and what are the karmic results between deliberate overriding of free will of others and innocents.

Innocent ignorance is where you do not know something because the knowledge has not been available to you (to use the example we used earlier) there was a time where people did not know about bacteria and therefore they did not know how to cure certain diseases. This was innocent ignorance.

Willful ignorance is where there is knowledge that actually is available, perhaps even knowledge that you have been made aware of but you are choosing wilfully to ignore it, disregard it, invalidate it, put it down because you are not willing to change. Or you are not willing to lose whatever position you have. In a broader sense here, you could say that when science did not know about the existence of bacteria – well that was innocent ignorance but in today’s materialistic culture, it is not innocent ignorance that science does not “know” about energy and the effect of energy.

As Saint Germain pointed out decades ago, scientists could have started exploring the energetic aspect of consciousness and the psyche. The fact that they have not done that is not innocent ignorance, it is willful ignorance. They cannot claim that they are innocently ignorant, they cannot come and say: “Oh, we didn’t know, we didn’t realise this.” But you had the potential to realise it and you chose willfully to suppress it, the same of course on a personal level. It is clear, that if you are without really realising what you are doing, if you are violating another person’s free will, the karma is less severe than if you know what you are doing and you are doing this deliberately. There is no question about this.

In a sense you could also say that, we have given new teachings that go beyond the traditional view of karma – that you are sending out an impulse that is going to come back to hit you. It is also that if you are willfully suppressing knowledge or if you are willfully manipulating other people’s free will, you are reinforcing your own ignorance, your own willful ignorance. What is willful ignorance? Well, it’s fanaticism. You are reinforcing the fanatical mindset that is holding back your spiritual growth.

How to study several teachings at the same time and benefit from all of them

Question: In the previous ascended master’s teachings, primarily Theosophy and Agni Yoga there was a concept of Manvantara coming from Hinduism. Is it the same as the latest teachings about the spheres. (by Wikipedia – Manvantara is a Sanskrit word a compound of manu and antara. Literally meaning the duration of a Manu or his life span. Each Manvantara (cycle) is created and ruled by a specific Manu who in turn is created by Brahma the Creator himself.)

Well here, my beloved we run into the limitations of words and the interpretation of words that people impose on it. You will see that in Theosophy for example, we had more of a connection between East and West. Therefore, we use certain concepts from the eastern teachings and religions, in order to illustrate certain things that were not easy to illustrate at the time through western teachings. There is always a limit to how far you can go with this. Even though you can say that there is a parallel between the concept of the Manvantara’s and the concept of cycles. The particular way that this was understood in Hinduism, is not an exact correspondence to the teaching we are giving on the spheres. In a broad sense you can of course say that the spheres are a form of cycle.

Nevertheless, you have to realise that there is always a certain cultural context in which a teaching is given. You look at where the teachings in Hinduism were given. You look at the eastern culture, the eastern mindset, you realise these teachings were given a long time ago when the collective consciousness was at a lower level. People’s outer knowledge was at a lower level. So, there were certain limitations to what could be given at the time.

That is why – what I would say is, there are some parallels but don’t use the linear, analytical mind to look at a previous teaching and the current teaching, and try to map exactly how this concept in Hinduism matches this concept in our current teachings. It simply isn’t productive to do this. In order to really do something like that, you would need to fully understand the cultural context and the meaning that people in that culture put into those words. Why would you need to do that, when you have grown up in the West in this time?

Simply use the concepts you have here, use the teachings we are giving now and make the best of it. If you are open to the teachings we are giving now, realise that progressive revelation is progressive, that there comes certain times where we are facing the choice of – if we want to take the teachings to a higher level, we have to free ourselves from the previous teachings. Those teachings have been taken as far as they can be taken given the limitations of words and cultural contexts. We simply need to start over at a higher level and not be concerned about what was said previously. That some people might look at them and interpret that here is seemingly a discrepancy or a contradiction.

We cannot give a new level of teaching without losing some students who use the linear mind to look for contradictions. We have decided that we simply cannot worry about that. You will see that in the past we had more of a tendency where we would take one particular dispensation to a point, where either the messenger or the students could not transcend that level of consciousness. Therefore we had to abandon that organisation and start a new one that was more free to go to a higher level. This is of course something we can do still. Because this messenger and many among the students have been willing to move higher several times, we have not had to do this.

We have been able to go to a higher level, as we did some years ago with the teachings on non-duality, as we did with the teachings on the Conscious You, as we did with the teachings on internal spirits, as we did with the teachings on the separate selves and the “My Lives” book. Every time, there will be some students who are using that linear analytical mind to compare to what was said previously. They will discover, what from the linear perspective seems to be a contradiction. Instead of going deeper and looking beyond the seeming contradictions to a deeper understanding, they fixate in their outer minds that these must be incompatible and therefore there must be some kind of problem that they project on it.

My advice is always, that you realise that even though there can be value in previous dispensations and teachings, you should realise that they are the result of progressive revelation. Therefore I would say that the latest teaching that you are open to, is the one that you should embrace and make the most of.

You can still study older teachings because they still have value but do not use the linear analytical mind to look for these supposed discrepancies or contradictions. Look instead beyond the linear mind; use your intuition to reach for a higher understanding of issues. That way, if you do this – then you can study several teachings at the same time and benefit from all of them. The benefit will not come through the analytical, linear mind; it will come through the intuitive mind.

Helping children with psychological problems and free will

Question: This person is asking if we can help young children with psychological problems. What this person does is – they use a type of script that works with children with psychological problems to help them go through, almost like a regression. Either the therapist or the parent uses it with them. What they want to know is: Is it against the free will of the child to use some type of script like this. Also if there are entities in the head of the child as well. Can we call on Archangel Michael for that protection?

No! It isn’t against the free will of the child, there are many different technologies that are already there. Many different therapies, many different techniques that are already there that could benefit children. Even benefit children who do not have specific problems or disabilities. As always, we are working with many different people to bring forth new ideas. Of course we have been doing this for decades, even centuries and millennia, working with the people that are open to receiving some kind of idea and have an expertise in a particular field. There are many, many things out there, that are valid techniques and that could be used.

Naturally, if you are working with children, it is perfectly acceptable and very constructive for you to make calls for their protection, for them to be cut free. If you are dealing with entities, Astrea is very efficient for cutting them free. Here again, of course you can say: “is this against the free will of the child” if the child doesn’t understand what you are doing? I would say again that as a general rule, the entities of course do not respect free will and will seek to manipulate the child’s free will. So by cutting the child free from the entities, you are actually freeing up the child’s will to make its own decisions to a larger degree.

There is a need for a shift in the collective, where people will demand a different form of energy

Question: Question about “non-material energy” also called “free energy” I was really impressed by the vision given by Cyclopea in the dictation given in Korea. About what could happen in a very short time if there would be a breakthrough, and if that small box generating energy could be available? There came to me recently very interesting news about the invention of a so called “cold fusion” where huge amounts of heat are generated in relatively low temperatures without radioactive radiation. There is even one scientist, an inventor that is very close to making a working product based on this invention which is called an “energy catalyser” or “ecat.” There are even many patents prepared of how to use this invention in houses, cars, air planes, much like that given in the vision by Cyclopea. Could the masters comment if this is the technology that has the potential to be a non- monopolised Golden Age technology. Also could such proof of concept or even the working device be constructed with relatively simple means? Like in almost garage like conditions. So it would be hard to monopolise because of its simplicity and availability?

What we are dealing with here is that – the energy devices of the Golden Age are beyond what most people can currently even envision or accept. There are a number of people who have seen the potential for new energy sources whether you call them “free energy” or something else. Therefore, there is a lot of research going on and there is some of this research that has a potential to actually be an energy production device. There are other types of research that can never really lead anywhere but it is still important that the research is being done.

As more and more people research this and publish their experiments, it helps shift the collective consciousness to the point where there can be the shift that allows the real technology of the Golden Age to come forth. There are several types of energy that are what you might call intermediary steps including “cold fusion.” You have to realise that anything that can be or will be patented, is not really going to be the highest potential for energy production. It is true as you say, that the ideal form of energy should be produced or rather transmitted by a device that can be produced in a garage, so that large corporations cannot monopolise it. They cannot even patent it because you cannot patent an idea.

We need to actually have a certain shift in consciousness, where we have people who are not driven by this desire to create a patent and become super rich. They are simply driven by the desire to pioneer a new technology and prove that it works.

You will see that the era of flight was initiated by two brothers in America, who were not attempting to patent the air plane. They were just attempting to prove that an object heavier than air could actually fly. This is the kind of experimentation we need. I know there are some people that are already at that level, but we need to have a shift where more people get into this, also where more people among the public realise, that the real energy of the Golden Age will not be monopolised by some corporation that will make lots of money on it. Therefore we really cannot allow that technology to be patented. What will happen is, that some corporation will buy the patent and suppress it, so they can continue to sell their oil at an inflated price as has already happened with certain types of technology.

This is something that those of you who are interested in this can actually make the calls for this kind of a shift. You can make the calls for a shift in the collective, where people will demand a different form of energy. You can ask yourself, why you have the kind of energy you have that is monopolised by big corporations.

It is simply again, because of the influence of the fallen beings and the power elite, where they want to set themselves up so that they not only make the money but also have the power over the people. They get money and therefore energy from the people all the time, think about this, it is again one of these examples of cognitive dissonance where people experience this. Because “why should you have to pay for energy.”

This is what you can make calls for, that more and more people will begin to simply ask this question: “Why should I have to pay for energy. Do I pay for the air I breathe? Do I pay for the rays of the sun? You can again, take the biological perspective as I said about fanaticism, look at the biological or physical perspective on energy. Look at all the basic things that drive life on earth are free, sunlight is free. The plants using oxygen for photosynthesis is free. You do not have to pay money for that. Why should you have to pay money for energy that drives technology? Why is that?

It can only be because mankind has been seduced by an elitist mindset. Despite the rise of democratic nations people have not freed themselves from that elitist mindset. That is why they still accept a situation, where they have to pay the power elite for electricity. It is necessary with one of these shifts where people say: “It’s obvious we should not have to pay for this, it shouldn’t be that way.” It can partly be brought about by the realisation, that if you actually made energy free, it would have such an incredible impact on the entire economy, that the economy would grow to a much higher level than today. Everybody would be richer, except of course the people who have the monopoly on oil and electricity production.

You realise that, there have been many developments in the world that have brought society forward that have brought the economy forward. You can look at what we have said about fanaticism, what Jesus said about diversification. What is the key to a growing economy, an affluent economy? It is diversity – diversification. What works against affluence for the people, is monopolization. The concentration of wealth and the ownership of the means of production in the hands of a small elite.

You look at the feudal societies and you can see that the feudal lords sitting in their castles, felt very, very rich compared to the ordinary peasants. If you look at what they actually owned back then compared to what many people own today, they were not very rich at all. It is all a relative thing.

That is why you realise that the power elite, their mindset of monopolising and concentrating wealth in the hands of a small elite, will force the energy to a much lower level. That is why the feudal societies kept the economy of the nations at a much lower level for several hundred years. After that broke and there was much more diversification in the economy, you saw how quickly it grew.

You also saw, right in the beginning of the industrial age, that you had these certain few people who always attempted to create these business monopolies, because they realised or they actually thought, they accepted the illusion that that was the only way to really make money. In reality, the only way to really make money, is to have a free diversified economy where there is constant experimentation and constant growth, so that there simply is more money in the economy.

How are you going to make money, unless everybody in society have money? You can see, that what they have done today (the power elite) is they have created these financial instruments where they make lots of money but it’s all just on the computer, there is no reality to it. That is not what I am talking about with a functioning economy. A functioning economy is where there is invention, there is production, there is services. There is the production of something real that benefits people, not just numbers on a computer’s hard drive. This is the kind of economy you can envision, you can make calls for. Diversification rather than monopolization is the key to the Golden Age economy.

How to deal with criticism from other people

Question: I have a question about how responding and turning the other cheek when I am approached with criticism and being put down by a colleague at my work. I often react with feelings of shame and then try to explain myself and defend myself. I realise it’s the self that feels shame and wants to defend itself. It is hard to just walk away and not to respond in any way. How do I respond without invoking the “fight and flight” response?

I recommend that you start by looking at the situation and evaluating what is the cost and the benefit of your present approach. You will see that it actually pulls you into a reaction, where you are constantly out of peace and you actually find it more difficult to get along with the other person, because you are resisting what the other person is telling you. You can see that the reaction you are having has a cost, then you can look at that cost and decide whether you want to continue to pay that price or whether you want to get out of it. If you want to get out of it, then you can see that there is more than one self here.

There is usually one self that resists looking at yourself, resists seeing something in yourself, because there is another self that would make you feel ashamed or judge yourself for seeing whatever there is that is unresolved. You can come to the point where you use the tools we have given you to identify these selves, to separate yourself from them, just realise that there is no problem you need to solve here and you can let the selves die.

You will also discover that there is a deeper self behind this, which ties into this whole idea of having to be perfect, or not having ever made any mistakes. This is the self that has (sort of) created the other two selves, but the other two selves are hiding the deeper self because you are caught in this “push and pull” of resisting whenever somebody tells you anything. You can come to the point where you uncover that deeper underlying self and realise that it is completely unreal.

First of all there is no state of perfection. Second of all it is a very deep programming in the collective psyche created by the fallen beings, that you are supposed to live up to this standard that nobody can live up to. You can come to see that self and just, again – see how unreal it is that you should ever live up to a standard of perfection when nobody can define the standard. You do not have to be perfect as a human being, you just have to continue to grow. For the rest of your life in embodiment you will continue to grow.

Once you realise that, you realise that seeing something in yourself, having other people point out something, is not really something you need to resist because it leads to growth. Once you get rid of these selves, you will find that you can be completely neutral when other people tell you something. In many cases you can see that, maybe what they are saying is not even reasonable, it is based on their perception which isn’t neutral or objective. If it is a supervisor at work, you might – instead of objecting to it or trying to defend yourself, or trying to prove them wrong, you might just take an easier way out and accommodate the person in order to have a better relationship with them, and then just go on with your work.

Again, it really boils down to looking at these selves that are pulling you into this reaction. Basically, as we have said before: Any time you feel an inner disturbance, you know that disturbance comes from a separate self. When the Conscious You is conscious of who it is and what it is, you are just a neutral observer. There isn’t that reaction in the Conscious You.

Science needs to develop a new paradigm where you are seeking to understand the behavior of the whole

Question: Question is about quantum physics and the structure of an atom. I have read some new concepts about structure of the atom and subatomic particles. That proton and neutron are actually made up of electrons and positrons aligned in a chain form. And the atom is also more like folded like a folded chain structure of protons and neutrons. Is it a more correct view than the current popular orbit-like model?

I would not say it’s a more correct view. I would say it is a less incorrect view in the sense that the challenge presented by quantum physics is expressed in the wave-particle duality. It’s demonstrated by this. And the reason scientists have not been able to resolve the wave-particle duality is that quantum physics has moved beyond the physical realm. The level that quantum physics is studying is not in the physical material frequency spectrum. And therefore, what scientists have been doing going back to Newtonian physics, is that they have been trying to take the phenomena you can see here in the world where you can observe energy waves and particles, and project that onto quantum physics.

You are trying to explain the structure of the atoms with a wave-particle model—a wave- particle view. As long as you do this, you will never be able to fully explain the atoms and the structure of the atom, because truly you can say that the traditional model is that you are looking with your physical senses at the macroscopic level, where you have all of these things: tables, chairs, rainbows, billiard balls, and all of this. You think, in a traditional model, that all of this variety of things are made up of smaller units. You have molecules, but then you realize the molecules are made of even smaller units called atoms. And then they start researching the atom.

And in the beginning, my beloved, the word atom came from the Greek philosophers. And it actually meant the smallest possible unit that cannot be subdivided. And when physicists first discovered what they call the atom, they thought they had discovered the smallest possible unit that could not be divided.

Then they researched further, developed new technology, new theories and they realized that even the atom has an internal structure. But they still thought that the atom was a smaller particle, a smaller unit within the molecule. And the molecule was a smaller unit within the macroscopic world. And therefore, whatever was inside the atom had to be a smaller unit of particles and waves. In other words, they thought they could take the concepts visible at the macroscopic level, and simply scale them down to smaller and smaller levels, and still be able to explain what goes on there.

But the reality is that when you get down to the level of the atom, you are right on the borderline between the physical spectrum and the higher realms. You are actually starting, when you look at the atom, to look beyond the material universe. And that is why the things that are visible at the macroscopic level (particles and waves), they no longer apply. You cannot apply these images and understand what is going on at the atomic level, let alone the subatomic level.

You can say that, you need a whole different paradigm, where you cannot actually understand the atom with a reductionist approach that goes back to Aristotle, where he thought that all visible phenomenon in the macroscopic world could be explained by going to smaller and smaller units. And then the whole could be explained by understanding the units that made up the whole. This has some validity at the macroscopic level.

But when you get down to the atomic level, it is completely unsuited for explaining what goes on. You cannot explain the atom by looking for smaller units inside the atom, studying those units and how they behave and then thinking that the units inside the atom can explain the atom—it doesn’t work. You can only understand the atom when you look at it as a whole. Yes, there are parts within the atom. Yes, there are certain aspects of the atom, there’s a certain structure. But this is not separate particles or separate waves buzzing around inside the atom. Even the traditional planetary model of a core orbited by electrons, is completely inaccurate.

If you really want to understand it, you need to step back and develop a new paradigm where you’re not seeking to reduce the atom to smaller and smaller units, you are seeking to understand the behavior of the whole. And when you understand the behavior of the whole, then you can explain the character and the behavior of the units. It cannot work the other way around. For that matter, it doesn’t even work the other way around at the macroscopic level.

The Aristotelian paradigm, the reductionist approach, has been helpful to a certain degree. But it has also been a very big hindrance to progress. And it is one of the biggest hindrances, currently holding back science from discovering new paradigms.

If you look at the human body, you cannot explain all of the functions of a human being by the reductionist approach. Scientists have attempted to look at the brain, the structure, the function of the brain, and how it creates consciousness. And they cannot, if they are honest, explain it—all the incredible vastness of human consciousness—it cannot be explained by explaining the different parts in the brain.

You even have the Human Genome Project, where they thought that by mapping all of the genes in the human body, they could explain every characteristic of the body, including every possible illness. But they found that this wasn’t the case. You cannot look at the genes and explain the totality of how the body functions, you cannot look at the individual cells and explain the totality of how the body functions, because the cells, may be individual units from a certain perspective, but they are all connected. And that is why they are able to work together and form one coherent body. And in order to understand the body, you cannot just look at these parts, you need to look at what it is that connects them.

And you are not going to find that connection by looking inside the cell or inside the brain or inside the molecules or the atoms. You will only find it by stepping back, looking at the whole and actually looking beyond the physical, visible material universe.

The only thing that connects everything is as Gautama just said, the Buddha nature. But what is the Buddha nature? It is consciousness. Everything is connected through consciousness. This is even what quantum physics has proven by experiments, that two particles can be separated by a great distance, but they can instantly change without there being a signal exchange between the two particles. That signal would have to travel at maximum the speed of light, but the change is instantaneous. So there cannot be anything that travels at or below the speed of light. And the reason for this is that in consciousness, there is no need for an exchange of physical particles. There is an instant connection in consciousness—it is not bound by time, or space.

As long as people insist on holding on to the materialist paradigm, wanting to explain everything in terms of particles and waves, they can still come up with theories that show deeper complexity and that can have a certain value, but it really won’t have the absolute or the maximum value until people become willing to shift and look for an entirely new paradigm.

What is the Buddha nature?

Question: What is the Buddha nature?

Answer from the Ascended Master Gautama Buddha through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2019.

Well, the Buddha nature that can be described in words is just a concept. You have that wonderful opening of the Tao-Te-Ching, that the Tao that can be explained this in words is not the real Tao. And the same with the Buddha nature. It is as you discussed earlier, and as we have talked about before, that enlightenment is a concept. People are in ignorance, they’re suffering. And we need to show them that there’s a way out of their suffering. So we need to give them some kind of goal and say: “This is what you can achieve when you overcome ignorance.”

But as we have said, enlightenment is just a concept. And if you use the dualistic mind to formulate an elaborate idea of what enlightenment is, you are pushing enlightenment away from you because enlightenment is when you stop looking at life through the dualistic mind.

What is the Buddha nature? Well, it is a concept I have expressed in words. And the purpose of it really was to, to do several things: first of all, to say that all people have the potential to rise out of ignorance. When I gave my teaching so long ago, the fallen beings had not developed the concept of original sin. So there was no concept that you are created as flawed beings that need an external Savior.

When I said that, everyone has the Buddha nature within them. It demonstrates that no matter what level of consciousness you are at on Earth, you have the potential to reconnect to the Buddha nature and therefore rise above ignorance. But more than that, the purpose was also to show people that all people have the Buddha nature within them.

And it is when you reconnect to your Buddha nature individually, that you can truly connect to someone else. And the only way to develop the Sangha of the Buddha is that you have individuals who have reconnected to the Buddha nature within themselves. And when you see it in yourself, you see it in others. And when many individuals have connected to the Buddha nature, then they can connect to each other at a higher level and achieve a higher degree of oneness. And that’s how you form the true Sangha of the Buddha, which is not really just a physical community where people live together and study the same teachings and give the same prayers.

It is a connection in consciousness, first of all. And then of course, in an even broader sense, everything is the Buddha nature, which indicates that the entire material universe sprang out of the Buddha nature, which again, helps you overcome that sense of separation, where you sense that you are separated from the material universe.

And when you feel that, you can very easily go into this trap of feeling, as I experienced myself in my younger years with the asceticism, that the physical octave, the matter universe is an enemy of your spiritual growth, and your body is an enemy of your growth and that’s why you need to put it through these extreme practices. And many spiritual people have gone into this blind alley of trying to resist living in the physical octave while they are living in the physical octave. And they think that by resisting the physical octave, they will go into the spiritual realm—into Nirvana, into enlightenment.

But you cannot go into enlightenment by resisting, because that only keeps you in duality, keeps you in ignorance, keeps you trapped in the pairs, as I expressed in the Dhammapada. When you recognize that the physical universe also is the Buddha nature, you can stop resisting it, you can embrace life, you can embrace being in a physical body, It is only by embracing the opportunity that you have in a physical body on earth, that you become free to move on from earth, because before you have fully embraced it, you cannot really move on.

Spiritual perspective on narcissistic personality disorder

Question: This is question is about narcissistic personality disorder. Psychology distinguishing narcissist from psychopaths, calls a narcissist a person who among others, has a grandiose sense of self importance, dreams of unlimited power, success, beauty etc., believes he or she is special and unique and requires excessive admiration, unreasonably expects special favorable treatment, exploits and takes advantage of others to achieve personal ends, lacks empathy for the feelings and needs of others. What could the masters say about this mental disorder from a spiritual perspective? Are there avatars who developed a full or extreme spectrum of this disorder?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2019.

Well to begin with the last question, yes, there are indeed avatars who have developed narcissistic personality disorder. There are also many of the people who have narcissistic personality disorder who are fallen beings. And there are some who are the original inhabitants of the earth who have not fallen. But there are relatively few among the original inhabitants who have gone to the extremes of narcissistic personality disorder. It is mainly avatars and fallen beings who fall into this.

You could say that the fallen beings already had this disorder before they came here. Many of them have gone even deeper into what you call being psychopaths, where they are much more aggressive in controlling other people or harming other people. You could say that an avatar does not go into becoming a psychopath. It just would not be possible unless the avatar fell at the end of a particular sphere, but that is relatively unlikely to happen. It certainly has not happened so far.

When you take the teachings we have given on the birth trauma—when you are exposed to the birth trauma, what happens is that you are forced into shifting from a more global awareness that you have on a natural planet to a more self – centered awareness. On a natural planet you are much more aware that you are part of the whole, and it is this awareness that causes an avatar to look at the earth and decide to descend here in order to help raise the earth. So the avatar comes in with a global awareness that, of course, is the antithesis or the opposite or the cure for narcissistic personality disorder.

But then when you experience this birth trauma, if it is very, very deep and very, very painful, then the avatar shifts into being focused on self. It can gradually, usually over several lifetimes, become more and more focused on self, more and more focused on never again experiencing the kind of pain it experienced in the birth trauma, and this then can cause the avatar to become more and more focused on itself.

We have earlier talked about the fact that in spiritual movements there are two types of people. There are those who start looking beyond themselves and start working for the whole or realize the value of having a frame of reference that is beyond their current state of consciousness. Then there is the group that cannot make, or have at least not yet made, that transition. Therefore, they approach the spiritual path from a self-centered, self-focused perspective.

In a sense you could say that most people, when they first find the spiritual path, they are very self-centered, because why are they open to the spiritual path? Well, it is because they are experiencing great pain from being on earth. They have a sense that this is not natural or this is not right, they have their birth trauma they are struggling with, and they have been willing to acknowledge this to the point where they realize they want to do something about it. They want to get out of it. So many people have a focus on self, and then as they apply spiritual teachings and tools and grow on the path, then they gradually overcome that. When the pain becomes less and less, it does not pull them into it.

As you realize, anything that involves self-aware beings with free will has many levels of complexity. We have so far given you a certain teaching about avatars, and we have focused on the kind of people that we know we can help. As I said, you acknowledge that you have pain, you have a problem here, you want to solve it, and you want to grow. Therefore you are willing to look at yourself and what it takes, what changes you have to make in order to attain a more peaceful state of mind, instead of trying to change other people or the world.

So these are the kind of people that are open to our teachings. But there is a certain type of avatars who, after the initial birth trauma, they are so effective at denying the birth trauma and denying the pain, that they come to a point where they do not consciously acknowledge their pain anymore. Some of them go into a state of almost wanting to prove the fallen beings wrong by making themselves have some kind of special ability or knowledge. There are some avatars who have gone into a state of competition with the fallen beings in terms of developing certain psychic powers, what you often call black magic, and they feel that they want to prove that they are better at this than the fallen beings. As I said, they don’t go into the psychopathic disorder where they are aggressively willing to kill people, but they can go into this very, very clear focus on raising up themselves.

So you have these people who find a spiritual teaching, even an ascended master teaching, and they approach it not from the point that they want to overcome their pain and their limitations, not from the point that they want to learn, they want to grow, they want to change themselves, but only from the point that, how can they raise themselves up, gain some special ability, make themselves look better in the eyes of other people. They want to impress, they want to prove the fallen beings wrong, they want to prove themselves superior, and they approach the spiritual path for this purpose.

You are not seeing it as much in this dispensation, although you did see it much more in the early years of this dispensation. But you saw it more in previous dispensations—that you had these kind of people who used the teachings as a tool that basically reinforced their narcissistic personality disorder, even to the point where sometimes they would feel that the ascended masters were approving of their narcissistic tendencies and their narcissistic quest to elevate themselves. They felt the teachings had justified their sense of superiority.

What can we do for these people? Really nothing. There is nothing our teachings can do for them. Because if you are not willing to look at yourself, then our teachings will not work for you.

We respect free will. We realize that many, many people on earth are in the school of hard knocks, where they must pursue a certain experience and encounter the physical reaction to it from the universe, from the cosmic mirror, until they have had enough of it and come to the point where they open their minds to learn something new. We cannot do anything for them.

This is something you can use when you encounter such people, where you realize that: “If the ascended masters cannot do anything for these people, why should I think I could do something for them?” There are spiritual people, well-meaning spiritual people, who have had family members or spouses or have been in relationships with people who have narcissistic personality disorder, and they have felt compassion and wanted to save these people. It has often led to great disappointment and pain for these people because people with narcissistic personality disorder simply do not change, or they change very, very slowly.

So the best thing you can do if you know people like this is to not allow yourself to be frustrated, and the only way to avoid being frustrated is to not think you have to change these people. You also need to recognize that neither do you need to change yourself to accommodate these people.

You need to recognize here that you need to accept who these people are and there’s probably nothing you can do to change them. But then you also need to accept that just because you are in a relationship with these people, it does not mean that you have to change yourself to accommodate them. You have a right to be who you are and to follow the path as you see it, and if that means that you will grow beyond them, then you have a right to leave them behind because it does not help them that you hold yourself back, and it obviously does not help you that you hold yourself back. Neither does it help humanity as a whole, the cause of raising consciousness, that you hold yourself back because you know somebody with narcissistic personality disorder. You just let them be.

This does not mean that you cannot tell them certain things, but you are not telling them things in order to change them, with the intent that you want to change them. You are just expressing yourself: who you are, how you see life, what your understanding is. You just express yourself, and then you are totally non – attached to how they react to it because you do not have the purpose of changing them. You just have the purpose to be yourself and express yourself with whomever you meet.

You also can, of course, come to a point where you realize you no longer want to be in a close relationship with people like that. Then you have a right to move on, no matter what your relationship is to such people. You cannot allow yourself to feel some kind of misguided loyalty or feel that you have to stay with a person like that if you cannot help them. You have no obligation to do this. You could even say that, there is always the question people have: “Well, what if I have karma with this person from past lives? Wouldn’t I then have to stay with that person until I have resolved the karma?”

Yes, but, my beloved, you need to recognize here that a person with narcissistic personality disorder is not going to resolve the karma they have with you because they are not willing to change themselves. So you cannot wait until all of the karma is resolved. What you need to do is focus on your own growth and resolving the karma, meaning the unresolved psychology, in yourself. When you have done that, you are free of your karmic obligation to that person, and therefore you have a right to move on if you choose to move on.

You can, of course, also choose to associate with them, and you can now associate with them in a new way, where they are not disturbing your peace. They are not pulling you into a reactionary pattern, and therefore you can have a more free relationship with them. You can choose to stay in a relationship, which I would especially recommend for parents and children, not so much for spouses, but you are not obligated. You should not feel that you are obligated because if you feel obligated, then that is part of the karma that you have with such people.

This is again one of the questions that spiritual people come up with because some of you might feel that: “But what if I did something wrong to that person in a past life, and therefore I have karma, and I need to pay back that karma before I can move on?” When you are dealing with a person with narcissistic personality disorder, it is not very likely that you did something wrong to them in a past life. What is much more likely is that in a past life you went into the state of consciousness of wanting to save them, wanting to change them, and that is why you have a tie to them. So there is often nothing you need to compensate for in terms of having done some bad action, but you need to overcome that sense of wanting to change the person that you cannot change.

It is sometimes, for some spiritual people, necessary to recognize that when you are on a planet like earth, that has such a low collective consciousness, but still free will reigns supreme, and there are some people who are narcissists, thinking you can change other people can have an element of spiritual pride. Because truly when you recognize free will, when you recognize how difficult it is to make a narcissist see what they are denying, then it is spiritual pride to think you can accomplish this.

As I said, if we of the ascended masters realize we cannot help these people, but they must experience through the school of hard knocks, then if you think you could do better than the ascended masters, that is a form of spiritual pride. So it might be necessary to recognize that in yourself because many avatars have that certain sense of spiritual pride.

It could start even before you came to earth, where you looked down on earth and you thought: “Oh, I must be able to do something to help them.” You were aware that ascended masters exist, you were aware as an avatar that we were working with the earth and seeking to raise things, but for many of you it was not that you felt superior to the ascended masters. What you reasoned was: “Oh, but the ascended masters are not in embodiment, and that’s why they can’t reach people. But if I go down and take embodiment, then surely I can reach people. They will listen to me because I’m in embodiment just like them.”

There are indeed some of us who have ascended from earth, who descended to earth as avatars for precisely that reason. But it is a certain spiritual pride that you can have as an avatar because you are so used to from a natural planet, that if you show people the limitations of their beliefs, they will accept what you are saying and change. And you are not even thinking that this is not the case on earth. You cannot even fathom that this is not the case on earth. You really cannot fathom it until you experience it. That is why we of the ascended masters could not even tell you ahead of time what a shock it would be for you to actually take embodiment.

What you see here is that sometimes it’s necessary for you, when you know a narcissist, to recognize that you can have a certain element of spiritual pride that makes you think you can change these people. And you just need to see it as coming from a separate self, and let it die and realize that because of the dynamics of free will and the dynamics of the narcissistic personality disorder, you cannot convince these people—you cannot make them see what they are not willing to see. They will always be able to twist whatever you say, and change it so that they can feel justified: “Oh, I don’t have to change. I don’t have to accept what these people said.” Because for whatever reason they come up with, they can always say that they are at a higher level than you are and therefore they don’t need to pay attention to it.

A person with narcissistic personality disorder does not suffer from an inferiority complex. They suffer from the opposite: an superiority complex, but they don’t see it as suffering because they feel superior. They can dismiss anything anybody says, and feel that they are validated in not changing. And the simple question to ask yourself is: “Given what I now know about free will, why would I want to change a narcissist? If this is the experience they want to have, and need to have, why would I want to change them?”

And that’s when you can then let go and say: “Well, if I can’t change them, why would I want to be around them?” And again, if you have close family ties, you can certainly still be around them. But when you look at yourself and your own reaction to them, when you free yourself from your reactionary patterns, you are not disturbed by being around them. You’re not pulled into their games, you can be yourself and express that, and then it isn’t such a burden to be around them. And certainly you can handle that the few times a year where you have family events. I’m not saying what you should do or shouldn’t do. I’m just pointing out to you that it is quite possible to maintain a certain civil relationship to your family members with narcissistic personality disorder, without it disturbing your path and your peaceful state of mind.

Spiritual perspective on Tourette syndrome

Question: Tourette syndrome, a neurological disorder, people who suffer from it feel continuously compelled to vocalize and shout out thoughts and comments that they do not want to shout out. That is causing them great embarrassment and discomfort in public and making ordinary daily interactions with other people almost impossible and making life in general almost impossible for the sufferer. What causes this condition to manifest in some people? Why must they suffer so horrendously because of it? And what is the best that these people can hope for in a lifetime where they must suffer from this disorder?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2019.

Well, again there are many different individual conditions that human beings encounter. But the most common reason for the Tourette syndrome is that people have an openness in their emotional body that makes them open to, at least on a temporary basis, being taken over by demons in the astral realm. It is therefore not really the people who are shouting out. It is the demons who are shouting out.

Now there can be a different level of this where people have wounds from past lives that causes them to once in a while feel an emotional pain that is overwhelming to them. And therefore, they can sometimes simply have a need to release some of that tension by making some kind of exclamation, not necessarily a statement but exclaiming something.

So that can be a slightly different dynamic, but in most cases, it is because people are, at least on a temporary basis, possessed by demons. It does not mean that they are constantly possessed but when they are then compelled to shout out or vocalize they are possessed by the demons. It is really the demons talking through these people.

What can they hope for? Well, that certainly depends on how open they are to open to adopting a different view of life than the one you are normally brought up with. Because again, as we have said, the materialistic paradigm to mental illness has long outlived its usefulness, (if it ever was useful, for curing mental illness). If you accept only this paradigm, there is no hope for them for any change for the rest of this lifetime. Yes, you could come up with some kind of drug that numbed them to the point where they were not really functioning as human beings, but more sleepwalking through life. But this really is not a solution.

If you accept a spiritual outlook on life like we have given, then these people could very much benefit from, in the short run, giving decrees to Archangel Michael for protection, giving decrees and invocations to Astrea for being cut free from the astral realm and even for the judgement and binding of these demons that are attacking them.

In the long run of course, they would need to use the teachings we have given to heal their traumas from past lives and therefore, seal up the opening in their emotional bodies and sometimes even in the mental body, through which these demons can affect them. It is a trauma that causes the opening. But once the opening is there and the demons come in, then the demons become the more immediate problem.

The first stopgap measure is to get the demons out. And then you can start working on the trauma and seal the wound in the opening in the emotional and mental bodies. If people are willing to shift into a spiritual outlook, there is realistic hope that they can overcome the condition.

If they are clinging to the material outlook on life, then there is virtually no hope of any change for the rest of this lifetime. Perhaps not even in future lifetimes, because there is no guarantee that once you go out of embodiment you will heal the wound. You come back into embodiment with the same wound. And you can repeat the cycle for several lifetimes until you are finally willing to switch your outlook and look for a different approach.

The root races and evolution of the human physical body

Question: This is a question for Saint Germain. He was talking about our physical bodies and I have many unanswered questions. As I understood before, humans had different bodies than they have right now. And after descending to duality consciousness deciding to use different bodies that we use right now. How were these new bodies introduced? How was it giving birth to the first body? How it was done, the change of body if it was so and if it was not so.

You should realize by now that we have a very, very vast body of teachings that we could potentially release and that we would like to release at a certain point. You may look at the amount of teachings that we have given now through the last one hundred years or so and you may think that this is overwhelming. But, nevertheless, there is many more teachings we can give. What we attempt to do is to give a very gradual release of our teachings, so that we set a foundation before we introduce certain concepts that are new and different from what we have given before. And this means that there are sometimes topics that we do not want to comment on at the present because we haven’t given the foundational teaching that we want to give first.

This is a complex topic that really to be fully explained requires some more foundational teachings. But what I will give you now is just a glimpse of it. And the easiest way to explain this, I’m not saying it is the full explanation, but the simplest way to explain this, is to say that the earth was first created in the identity realm. There is an identity level planet you might say. It is not exactly like the physical planet of course, but it has the identity level matrix for earth. When the Elohim first decided to create planet Earth, they first created that identity level matrix, manifested it there. Then, after some time, they lowered it into the mental realm, then after some more time into the emotional and then into the physical. There was a point where there was only an identity level earth. And there were beings that descended to, we might say, take embodiment at the identity level. It is not of course an entirely accurate wording because normally, when we talk about taking embodiment, we’re talking about the physical octave. But there were beings that where their I Am Presences sent what were called the Conscious You into the identity realm. And they took on the kind of bodies that you can have at the identity level.

Then there was a time where the planet had been pushed into the mental.

And there were some beings that, “took embodiment” at the mental level. And they took embodiment at the mental level and there was a time when it was pushed into the emotional and there were some that took embodiment at that level. Then there came that point where the matrix for the earth was pushed into the physical realm, the physical level of vibration.

But there was not anybody who immediately took embodiment at the physical level. And the reason for this is that the physical level is the most dense. So, for a variety of complex reasons, but mainly what the earth had the potential to become, it was decided that the Elohim would initiate a process of gradual growth so that instead of manifesting bodies at the physical level, in an instant creation, so to speak. Instead, there was created this long process that you now see as the history of biological evolution. What we allowed to happen at the physical level was that this very long process happened, that gradually brought forth more and more complex life forms—more and more complex physical bodies until we had the kind of bodies that had the complex nervous system that you today associate with the human body. There was a long period of time where there were no beings from the spiritual realm that took embodiment at the physical level. But there were beings who were at the identity, mental and emotional level.

Basically, we can say that we have from previous teachings given the concept of root races, of waves of lifestreams that came to earth. But what was sort of left unanswered in those ages was where those people, those root races, descended, to—where they took embodiment. And again, to give you the simplest possible explanation here, the first root races descended to the identity realm. And they ascended from the identity realm. The second root race to the mental realm ascended from there. The third root race to the emotional realm. And then we have given the teachings previously that there was a fourth root race and that was where the fall happened.

Now you could think that the fourth root race took embodiment directly in the physical realm but they actually did not. The fourth root race started to descend to earth a very, very long time ago, before the process of evolution had brought forth physical bodies that are as complex as what you see today. The fourth root race actually took embodiment in all of the three higher realms. And there were some of those beings from the fourth root race, primarily the ones in the mental and emotional realm, most of them in the emotional realm, who went into the dualistic consciousness and could not come back from it. They could not, as Maitreya describes in his book, come back to the teacher. And so that is why you have the whole concept that there was an Edenic or more idyllic state in the past, where they had, as the Bible says, contact with God. But it was actually with their spiritual teachers. They had a direct experience of their spiritual teachers because at the time, the ascended teachers could go to all of the three higher realms. They could manifest themselves in the emotional realm because it had not been polluted as it is now. Even in the emotional realm they had direct contact, not physical contact, but the parallel to what you would say was a physical contact. They could directly perceive and interact with their spiritual teachers. But some of them, then went into duality, and would not come back for a variety of reasons.

That meant that when their root race ascended, they could not stay in the identity, mental and emotional realms. They fell, so to speak, in vibration into the physical realm. That was when they started taking physical embodiment. And this happened at the same time as the process of evolution had brought forth physical bodies with the characteristics necessary for spiritual beings to take embodiment in them. What you see here, you can explain this in various ways, but you could say that given the matrix for the earth, then the physical realm was a sort of safety net, a safety mechanism, that if any of the beings embodying in the three higher realms would fall into duality and could not come back, then they could take embodiment at the physical realm and receive another opportunity to learn from being on earth. Again, this is not meant to be the full and final explanation of this, but it is what I feel I can give at this moment given that we do not have a broader foundational teaching to explain it more fully.

Question about communication with internal spirits

Question: This question is about communication with spirits. We need the four lower bodies to incarnate in the material universe in order to grow. I’m aware that in those four lower bodies, some internal spirits are also created to serve us for our growth and experiences in embodiment. At a certain stage of our spiritual growth, do we happen to communicate with those internal spirits by signals such as language or feelings in specific situations? And is it possible to have communication with the internal spirits that are created as responses to certain situations during embodiment? And is it possible to communicate with my I Am Presence in a similar manner?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Korea in 2019.

Well the question is based on a certain misunderstanding. What we have called internal spirits are not created to aid your spiritual growth. They are created in response to disharmonious, unbalanced situations that you encounter on earth. There is a very big similarity between what we have called internal spirits and separate selves. And so, it is not constructive whatsoever to communicate with these internal spirits, because they will simply keep you engaged to get your energy, and to keep your attention focused on this instead of focused on dissolving the internal spirits.

If you attempt to communicate with them, you will most likely tie into spirits of a similar nature that exist in the astral plane or in the mental realm or even the lower identity realm and this can keep you trapped forever where you might think you are communicating with some benevolent entity, but they are just simply drawing your attention away from what actually gives you spiritual growth, which is to dissolve the spirits, dissolve the separate selves.

So, the process of communicating with your I AM Presence is not the same. But there are of course as we already talked about before people who have thought that their I AM Presence is an external being that they can communicate with as you do for example, over the telephone. You think your I AM Presence is somewhere out there, you need to find the telephone number of your I AM Presence, dial that number and talk to the Presence at a distance. But as we have said, if the I AM Presence were to do this, it would only reinforce your sense of separation from the Presence. And so therefore you do not communicate with your I AM Presence this way.

And of course, we don’t encourage anybody to communicate with spirits in the three lower realms: the emotional mental and identity realm, because they are not of an ascended stature, and therefore they are not free of self-interest. They may be relatively benign and not necessarily evil, but nevertheless they very easily become a blind alley. And it’s clear that the spirits you have in your four lower bodies are not ascended either. And therefore, they are tied to the other spirits that are outside of your consciousness in the collective— in the astral plane.

And again, this becomes just a blind alley that can engage your attention and your energies for an indefinite period of time until you decide you’ve had enough of it, and you want some real spiritual growth by dissolving the spirits—dissolving the selves. But this requires you to make a decision that you are willing to make the effort, do the work, instead of doing what may seem as the easy way of communicating in a way that you are familiar with.

If you have a tension in you, then you know that there are separate selves involved

Question: There is a thought growing in my mind. And I’m slightly concerned whether it is just a delusion. The content of the thought is how to improve the environment of the earth, and how to improve the educational system. The urge to accomplish my thoughts keeps occurring. But at the same time, I am uncertain if I can actually do the work. I wish to know whether this is the vision that my conscious you have, or a random delusion.

Well, many people today and throughout the ages have had a similar pattern. And again, I feel like I’m repeating myself, because the answer is that whenever you have a tension in you, that tension comes from one of these separate selves or, in most cases two separate selves that are working against each other. So, as I said in the previous answer, there is a separate self that gives you a drive to attain something. And then there’s another separate self that gives you the doubt, or the critical attitude towards yourself whether you can achieve it. So, what you need to do is to work on the separate selves. And again, if there is tension, then you know that there are separate selves involved. So you need to clear them out of the way. And then you can have a more clear vision of what is in your divine plan.

We have seen over the ages, or at least the decades, many, many ascended master students who have taken our teachings and become very fired up so to speak, about going out changing the world, whether it’s the educational system, or the environment, or this or that. And so they become almost obsessed, feeling this drive to change the world. But this drive is often caused by a separate self that wants to divert them from the real path, which is that you look at yourself. Many ascended master students have been so focused on saving the world, for Saint Germain, that they have felt, “Oh, I don’t need to look at my psychology because if I give enough Violet flame, it will dissolve my karma and then my psychology will be resolved”. And this is what we’re now calling you to realize is simply not the case.

You will not ascend without looking at your psychology. And so, again, look at yourselves, when there is tension, when there’s pressure, when you are not at ease, when you feel this obsessive, compulsive drive to do something, then go after the separate selves that are causing this. And once they die, then you can pursue what is truly in your divine plan. You can have the vision of what’s in your divine plan. And then you can do so from a state of inner peace.

You need to let go of the selves that have produced your achievements

Question: This question is about inner anxieties. I wonder why I cannot see myself as I am, feeling that my mental blocks bar me, from evaluating myself in an objective fashion. For instance, although I have made some achievements in my life, I’m constantly being pressured with thoughts that I’m underachieving compared to my true potentials. How can I overcome these inner anxieties?

I know my beloved that our answers sometimes may seem repetitive. But the true answer here really is that you have two separate selves. One is driving you to achieve and another is constantly criticizing yourself and putting yourself down. Even using your drive to achieve to put you in this endless spiral where it is never enough, and it is never good enough. You see many, many people around the world, for example, in business, in sports and various careers, where they are constantly driven to do more and more. And it’s just never good enough no matter what they do, or how much they have.

The only real solution to this, is of course to work on your psychology until you come to see the selves and let them die. In the short run, you can gain relief from giving calls for protection for being cut free from any ties to the astral plane where there are demons that will inflate this kind of anxiety. It is also important to use the teachings we have given, both in the “My Lives…” book and in the workbooks that follow from it, so you can realize that the fallen beings have created this standard of perfection that you are supposed to live up to.

But in reality, it is completely unreal. And what all you need to do, is to return to that state of pure awareness that we have described as the conscious you. Because any worldly achievement, no matter how great it could be, it’s not going to give you entry into the ascended realm. It is actually sometimes or often detrimental to people, if they feel they have great worldly achievement. It makes it much more difficult to let go of the self that has produced that achievement, and thereby return to that original state of pure awareness.

It does not matter how elaborate of a self you could build that has achievement in this world. That self is still mortal, and it will not be saved. And as long as you are attached to such a self, you cannot ascend— the conscious you cannot ascend.

So contrary to what has been believed by many spiritual people, including ascended master students, it is not a matter of perfecting the outer self. And when you reach a certain level of perfection, you are qualified for your ascension. The real process of the ascension is to dismantle the outer self, step-by-step by dismantling these individual selves, letting them die so that the conscious you eventually returns to that state of being in a completely neutral state of mind. Because it is the attainment stored in your causal body that you can take with you after your ascension.

Saint Germain’s comments on the current global financial and economic situation

Question: This question is about the current global economic situation. Saint Germain has commented on the economy and finance several times previously. When I look at various indicators of the current global economy, the situation is getting more difficult. At the time of the financial crisis in 2008, financial elites solve the crisis for temporary measure, such as applying ultra-low interest rates and excessive liquidity expansion rather than working on the fundamental problem. As a result, the price of real estate and stocks have gone up and household and corporate debt has grown tremendously. Moreover, economic imbalances are deepening as the top 1% accounts for half of the total wealth. I believe that true democratization must be accompanied with economic democratization primarily with income redistribution. As Saint Germain said before, it is imperative that many people realize the reality of the financial elite to control and build a monetary system based on the real economy and a system that solves income inequality problems. Would you comment on what we should do about the current global financial and economic situation?

Well, what we should do depends on who we are, in the sense that if you’re asking about what ascended masters students should do, it would be to use the invocations that we have given you on the economy. And also, of course, to take appropriate measures so that you protect yourself and do not invest your money in these various corporations and financial institutions that could be exposed to a breakdown.

I’ve said before that, as you correctly pointed out, there was not really a fundamental change made after the 2008 crisis. And so, unless there is a willingness to create systemic changes, then it is just a matter of time before the next crisis happens. Now, there are certain measures that have been put in place that will make it more difficult for a new crisis. But still, there is that potential that a new crisis could happen. There could also be milder versions of the crisis. In terms of the democratization of the economy, I have already commented on what needs to happen with corporations.

But let us talk about debt also. It’s clear that the current model, where you have a debt-based economy is not sustainable, and certainly will not survive in the Golden Age. So there will, given that the depth keeps increasing both for nations and for individuals and corporations, there will come a point where it will become obvious to everybody that the only way out of the debt is to simply cancel out the debt, to simply turn the clock to zero and say, “We are canceling all debt”. You can even see in a Bible how this has happened in ancient times when the economy was much smaller. And it’s simply because when you allow money to be created as debt, the interest payment on the debt will create various problems, including inflationary pressures. And there comes a point where this is no longer sustainable.

In terms of a redistribution of wealth, yes, this can partly happen, as I explained with the corporations that more aware consumers do not spend their money in these corporations that are owned by, or that funnel money to the top elite. There can, as you see already, be various levels of economy. Right now, for example, you have a so-called underground economy that is fueled by drug money, for example, or other forms of crime. I am not, of course approving of this, I’m simply stating the fact that right now you have one level of economy, and then you have the more official, legal level of the economy.

But there’s already beginning to emerge a new level of economy, where people who are more aware, more conscious, are not spending their money with the large corporations. Now, it is of course, also possible that you can come to a point where societies realize that not only is debt a problem because it creates barriers, issues, including inequality, but the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few people is also a problem.

So this can be dealt with in different ways. It can, of course, as you see in some nations, for example, in Europe, where you have extra taxation on those with very high incomes or high profits. But it can also be happening by making it illegal to have certain forms of speculation certain of what you want a neutral word called financial instruments, but which are really just speculation. There will also come a point where nations will see that maintaining the current economy, that is really, what I have called a perception-based gambling economy also, is not sustainable. And that means that these financial instruments that can so easily be manipulated by the elite will be made illegal. And once you do this, then it will become more difficult for the rich, to use the money they have to make more money.

There will of course, as I’ve talked about before, come that point where societies will realize that making money off of money simply cannot be allowed in a democratic—a truly democratic nation because it gives an unfair advantage to those who already have accumulated money, often by using force or deception to accumulate the money. And therefore, you cannot actually have a truly free democratic society, as long as you allow people to manipulate markets in order to maximize profits. You as spiritual people can make the calls for this. We already have invocations for this purpose. More will be released in the future. But even the invocations based on this conference will be useful for that purpose.

How to deal with the feeling of discomfort in the chakras

Question: For a long time, I have felt discomfort in the heart chakra. The protection calls I make do not help. I can’t figure out the reason for this discomfort. Please. What negative inner states can arise on the spiritual path, especially in the beginning, and how can we overcome them?

It is not uncommon that people can have discomfort in a particular chakra, it need not be the heart chakra. For many people, it is the solar plexus chakra or the base chakra. And so, it’s clear that the reason is that you have some negative energy, some fear-based energy that has accumulated in the chakra. And this creates a certain turbulence, a certain disharmonious energy in the chakra. It can even, in some cases cause a chakra to spin the wrong way. And so, protection calls can only help if this is a result of a projection from the outside.

But if it is the result of energy that is produced internally, then protection calls will not help. And so that’s where you need to then start looking at yourself, looking at the teachings we have given on the separate selves because there are of course certain selves that are tied to the chakras. And so, you need to discover what it is, what kind of a self you have.

And if it is the heart chakra for example, you can look at what are the qualities of the heart chakra, the perversions of the heart chakra, or the ray that is tied to the chakra, and then you can start there by looking at what kind of self you might have. And when you use the tools we have given in healing your spiritual traumas and the three books following that give these invocations and ask for guidance, you will gradually come to see what the self is that is causing the disturbance in the chakra and then you can come to that point where you see it, you separate yourself from it, you let it die.

How to make calls for other people

Question: In our calls for loved ones, and for people in our circle of influence, and for that matter, people in our country, can we ask to raise the energies of their four lower bodies? Would that be a violation of their free will? Or would it help them somehow?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Korea in 2019.

Yes, of course you can ask for the raising of the energy sort of the four lower bodies, because this is really a foundation for them making better conscious choices. It is very often that people are so burdened by inharmonious fear-based energies, that cannot see clearly what choices to make. You will see many people for example, who are in a downward spiral, where their lives are becoming more and more chaotic and they do not know what to do. They cannot make responsible choices.

So by making the calls for the transformation of the energy, for example, in their emotional bodies, then they can get some relief from the chaos. And then they can gradually come to a point where they can see clearly and now they can make a free choice. You realize that when a person is very burdened by dis-harmonious energy, the person is not free to make a choice. So therefore, the energies work against people’s free will. So calling for the removal of the energy is not against people’s free will, it actually frees their will.

Nevertheless, you do a cause need to recognize that it’s not appropriate to do this on a long-term basis. You will see as we have talked about before, that in some past dispensations people used the Violet Flame as an excuse for not changing their psychology. They would for example, become angry, then they would give Violet Flame decrees to transmute the energy produced by the anger. But next week, they would be angry again.

And so, you can have a loved one who is in a negative spiral, you make the calls for the transformation of the energy, and now they suddenly feel relieved. So now that I feel better, why change anything? Why look at myself? Why make new decisions? And so, the person just mis-qualifies energy again, becomes burdened, you make the calls, the person feels better, and so on and so on. And that is where sometimes if you have done this for some time, you might need to simply decide, this is not actually helping the person, so I will stop doing this.

Business models in the golden age

Question: What kind of business model would be suitable for the Golden Age? I heard that cooperatives are recognized as successful business models in Europe. Can this cooperative model be an alternative to the previous business models?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Korea in 2019.

Well, there will be many different business models that will spring up in the golden age and some of them have already come up. There are people who have tuned into my consciousness and my ideas and been able to come up with this. Cooperatives is certainly one of them. But it’s not the only one. There needs to be many different forms of it, depending on the size of the business, the nature of the business. It’s clear that what needs to happen in a golden age is sort of a democratization of business. As we have said in these dictations during this conference, today, the large corporations of the world are really like a dictatorship that has a very centralized form of leadership. And of course, it also channels the profit into a very small group of people who receive the benefits of the many people who work for the corporation.

So, the most important thing in the golden age will be to make people feel that they are part of the business and that they have a personal responsibility for it. This is essentially the idea behind democracy. In a dictatorship, you see that people do not feel much responsibility for what the government does, because they have little influence on it. And so, it’s clear that there is a connection between the influence that people feel they have on something, and the amount of responsibility they feel for it. That’s why democracy is a more aware, enlightened form of government, because people are more engaged and feel more responsibility. Naturally least you see in many of the older democracies of people have lost some of that sense of being involved, but they at least still have the potential to involve themselves if they want to.

So, in a golden age, it’s important that people feel they are part of the business. And that means several things. It means first of all, that the profit produced by the business should be shared, to some degree among all of the people who work for it. This will not only begin to happen on a voluntary basis, it will actually at some point be a law in some nations, that a business will not be allowed to function without sharing profit with all of its employees. There also needs to be much more of an openness in the leadership structure where you do not have the top down management that you see today, in so many businesses. Instead the people who work in the business will be listened to, they will have an influence not only on their work situation, but all aspects relating to the business.

And you can see today how many of the larger corporations have a board of directors where you have people from outside the business who are sitting on the board of directors that are making certain important decisions for a business. But these board members have very little knowledge of how the business actually functions. And they certainly have no direct experience of what it means to work for the business, and what it means to produce the products and face the many problems of production that the employees face.

So, it’s clear that there will also be a model that would question why would you have external people who know nothing about the business on the board of directors? Why not recruit these people internally, and why not even have people all the way from the what you would call bottom level employees, and all the way to top leadership be part of the board of directors.

This is something that will happen naturally because as we move into the Golden Age, there will be this gradual shift, where you shift away from what we have talked about here, the sense that it’s only the few people that are able to make decisions, and know what’s best. Where there will be a realization that the businesses who will actually do best in the competition will be those who draw on the expertise of their own employees, and the experiences they have from all level of levels of the business.

Today, for example, you will see many businesses who face a certain problem in some level of the business, and they will spend a lot of money to hire an outside consultant, but they often will not bother to ask their own employees, where they could get the guidance for free because the employees not only know the problem, but they are interested in solving it if for no other reason to improve their own working conditions. You will also see that there would be a shift in businesses in the sense that the goal, of the most successful businesses will not be to maximize profit. Profit will become less important in the business world. What will be important for many businesses or the more successful businesses is that they actually provide a service to society. Naturally, a business needs to function economically. So they need to be paid for their products or their services. But they are doing this more from a sense of what can we contribute to the whole? What can we contribute to humanity?

You already see some businesses who have adopted this kind of philosophy. They have not necessarily always done it in the most balanced way. But you see businesses that have adopted a strategy where they want to be environmentally conscious, they want to be conscious of how their products are produced, they want to create a sustainable business model by using renewable materials, and many other such initiatives. And these things will, in a golden age become more and more important. And this will partly be brought about because there will also be a raising of awareness among consumers and consumers will be much more conscious. And it will not just be a matter of what is the cost of the product. But there will be many other concerns that come in.

Consumers will increasingly start asking questions that are not relating to their use of the product and the benefit they get from the product and the cost of the product. They will also be concerned about how was the product produced? Where was it produced? Do the workers have good conditions? Are they paid decently? Does the company share profit? Or is it just enriching this small elite?

All of these things will become much more important than the goals an age sort of gradually there will be a voluntary shift in many businesses where they realize that that what today is a small niche market of more conscious consumers will become a larger and larger market. You can see how in some nations ecologically produced food, for example, has become not just a niche business, but actually is approaching a very large business in some nations, and people are willing to pay more for products that are produced in a responsible manner. And this will grow exponentially in the Golden Age so that people will be much more conscious of this.

You will also see for example, that as businesses begin to share profit with their employees, people will actually have more money. And therefore they will not just wildly spend this on anything they want, they will be able to afford to buy quality, be able to buy products, afford to buy products that are produced in a more aware manner, such as ecological food. And this will change the business climate dramatically so that eventually there will come a point where a business that is only out for profit will become the minority of businesses. And it will actually at some point be seen as this very outdated, obsolete business model that most people will not even want to support.

There are many shifts that will happen just as a result of the raising of awareness. And of course, many new ideas for businesses will be brought forth. One important aspect of this will be that as consumers raise their awareness, they’ll become aware of the nature are these large corporations, and they will be more and more reluctant to buy their products from these corporations. And therefore, there will be many smaller businesses that will spring up. First of all, because a smaller business can more easily have this more humane culture of listening to the employees and sharing the profit. But when you reach a large corporation that has hundreds of thousands of employees, it’s very difficult to maintain that human scale where the human concerns are important, and where the individual employee is important.

So, people will more and more take their business to these smaller, more responsible businesses and therefore they will prosper. Whereas the large corporations will gradually die out. And eventually they will simply fold and be split into smaller businesses.

So, in other words, what you have seen is that beginning in the late 1800s, in the United States, you saw these particular capitalists such as Rockefeller, and others who attempted to create monopolies. And this was what set the stage for the emergence of the large corporations, where businesses have attempted to become larger and larger by absorbing the competition or destroying the competition. But this trend has already to some degree been reversed, although you still see some corporations growing. But you see the beginning of a new trend. And this will lead to a point where these bigger businesses will be split up and there will be much more of a diversity in the business field. We have talked about how the law, the second law of thermodynamics actually makes it clear that diversity is the key to survival. But it’s also the key to prosperity, and a key to multiplying the talents. And therefore, a more diverse economy with many smaller businesses will be much more affluent, much more vital, much more creative than what you see today.

There is a clear tendency in corporations that they seek to establish dominance in the marketplace. And once they feel they have attained that dominance, they stopped looking for new solutions. Now they actually, if they were creative before, they stopped being creative, and they wanted to squash creativity by preventing other businesses from coming up with new ideas that can threaten their market dominance.

And this is something that will simply not be sustainable in a golden age because they will be greater creativity so that businesses that attempt to restrict creativity simply cannot survive. This will, in large part be due to the raising of awareness among consumers who are not so concerned anymore about the cheapest products, but what products that really fill their needs and are produced in responsible manner. And therefore, these kind of products are not as suitable for these huge mass production, assembly lines that have been created today, in order to create cheaper and cheaper products. It will be much more important to have a more small-scale production that actually can produce products with certain individual characteristics that people will want and be willing to pay for.

How to approach a life-threatening illness

Question: This question is about chemotherapy. If a student of the ascended masters has been diagnosed with cancer, will chemotherapy be an appropriate treatment? Or should other ways of healing be considered? What must the student learn from this challenge, and should he or she try to heal himself or herself while going through a destructive treatment methods such as therapy?

It’s clear that chemotherapy and many other forms of therapy developed by current medical science is not the highest option. There will come a point where people will look back, and they will think that this is just as primitive as when doctors today look back at the Middle Ages and bloodletting and other forms of therapies used back then. But nevertheless, you live in the time you live in. And if you have been diagnosed with a serious disease, we always recommend that you pursue all available options.

However, given the nature of chemotherapy, I would recommend that you very much consider how advanced the cancer is. Do you have time before you need to apply chemotherapy? And if you do, then I recommend that you use all other available treatments, including of course, using alternative medicine, diet, and other forms of physical treatments.

Again, of course, we always look for any challenge like this to be an opportunity to change your consciousness, to look at what selves you have, what fixed thought patterns you might have, or emotional patterns you might have and then begin to resolve them as well. For this situation where you are facing a life-threatening illness, it might be appropriate to use various forms of therapy, psychological therapy, that can help you resolve deep seated psychological issues in a more concentrated way. So use whatever means are practical and available to you in a situation depending on your individual diagnosis and how much time you have.

A job and your divine plan

Question: This question is about occupations. We need an occupation to make a living, and we tend to choose any job whether we really want it or not. Is it just a coincidence that we happen to choose a particular job, such as the one we have now, or are we supposed to choose the job to realize something or to serve something in this life? Is there another deeper meaning here?

Well, the best way to approach this is to realize that there is a connection between your level of consciousness and the jobs you choose. There are of course, situations in many nations where there is only a certain amount of jobs are certain kinds of jobs available. And you can also have a certain programming from your family background that programs you to take certain types of jobs.

So what you can do is, continue to work on your psychology, especially work on the birth trauma, and overcoming all of these selves. And then you will gradually gain more clarity, more inner resolution that will help you gain a clearer vision of what is in your divine plan. And as you begin to have that clarity, you will have a better foundation for choosing a different kind of job.

It’s clear that the ideal situation is that your job provides you with the necessary income, but you are not having that job exclusively to make money, you are having it because it is part of your divine plan. But you can give service to others, you can learn, you can grow yourself. And you can even enjoy doing what you are doing in some cases. And so as you raise your consciousness, as you resolve your psychology, you will have much more clarity on what kind of jobs to choose. What also happens is that as you resolve the birth trauma and overcome all of these selves, you will of course, raise your consciousness closer to the 144th level. And as you do so, you gain what we have called the mastery of mind-over-matter.

And this is something that people often misunderstand, they think that you gain some magical ability to change matter, you can snap your fingers and a piece of lettuce turns into gold, or whatever people imagine. But what we actually talk about is that you gain the ability, where you can have a clear vision in your mind of what kind of, for example, occupation you want to have, then you can gain the inner resolution where you are not divided, you do not have two separate selves that are pulling you in opposite directions. And so you have that determination, that yes, this is the job you want. This is the kind of occupation you want, and you are worthy of it.

And that means that you now gain the ability to manifest the living situation that you desire, and that is in your divine plan. So the key is always resolution of psychology, raising of consciousness. And then when there is a change in consciousness, there will be a change in the physical realm as well.

How to approach ascended master teaching

Question: I want to be free from all unbalanced and negative things. These are for example, any kind of addictions: alcohol, tobacco, sexual desire, psychological disability, disease, and inferiority complex or due to lack of ability and education and the chain of material poverty. I would very much like to get healed to restore balance and be free from these matters. What should I know, change and do to achieve this?

Study and apply the teachings. That is why we have released all of these teachings that are designed to help you accomplish this. But you, first of all, need to make a switch in the mind. Because it is very common (and we have seen this many times), that when people first find the teachings of the ascended masters, they are still affected by their previous religious upbringing and culture. And they are many religions around the world where people have this form of magical thinking where they think that the purpose of their religious practice is that there will be some intercession from above that will relieve them of all their problems.

So many people around the world pray to me, for example, because they want some kind of miraculous intercession that takes away their problems without them having to change anything. So you need to make the switch in mind that the purpose of the ascended masters is not to be like a genie in a bottle, where you rub the lamp and we come out and say what is your wish, and then we fulfill it.

The purpose is to empower you to solve your own problems, to transcend your own problems by transcending your state of consciousness. So this is how you need to make that switch so you approach our teachings that way. Where you’re not expecting us to do the work for you, but you take responsibility for changing your own state of consciousness.

And when your state of consciousness changes, then your outer situation will also begin to change. As we have said many times, there must first be a change in consciousness before there can be a change in the physical.

How can people who are not open to ascended masters transform negative energy?

Question: This question is about transforming negative energy. The ascended masters have released a number of techniques that can purify negative energy within us. Is it possible for people who are not open to ascended master teachings and do not know about decrees or invocations to transmute negative energy by using techniques not released by ascended masters in order to speed up the process of psychological healing? If so, when someone is trying to transform negative energy, or someone as a psycho-therapist or counseling psychologist is trying to help his client transform negative energy, can the client transform his own negative energy? Can the therapist help his client transform negative energy as long as the therapist can attune to the heart and become coherent when using any kind of technique? And if that is not the case, can you recommend any other criteria for choosing efficient techniques, that those who are not open to the ascended master teachings and techniques need to keep in mind?

You do see the irony do you not, that you’re asking an ascended master, to tell people who are not open to ascended masters how to transform energy. When we talk about transforming energy, we need to recognize that in order for energy that has been lowered in vibration into a fear-based vibration to be transformed, the only way to accomplish this is to have energy of a higher vibration. And where can this energy come from? Only from the ascended realm.

Now, this does not mean that people have to know about ascended masters or believe in ascended masters in order to receive such energy. But they have to receive the energy from a higher realm. It has to be a love-based vibration that can transform the fear-based energy. So throughout the ages, people have of course found ways to tie into the flow of spiritual energy that we are releasing. They haven’t known about ascended masters, they may not have believed in ascended masters, but they have somehow found a way to open up channels in their being so they can receive this energy and direct it. And however they do it is of course, a valid approach as long as they tie into energy that is love-based. Prayer has been used, invocations, chants, the chanting the “Om”. But there are people who have learned various techniques: there’s Reiki, some people can just tune in in their hearts using their intuitive faculty to tune into this higher stream of energy. And they can therefore help other people with it.

Now, if you’re talking specifically about a therapist, then it requires that the therapist at least is open to using his or her intuitive faculties and has the ability to tune in to a stream of higher frequency energy. Otherwise, the therapist cannot access the higher energy. What often happens in therapy sessions or healing sessions in general, is that the healer or the therapist has a genuine desire to help the client or the patient. And in many cases, the healer or the therapist is then willing to take on the negative energy of the client. And this relieves the situation of the client because they are no longer over burdened by the energy. But it means that the therapist had to take it on and then has to deal with it somehow.

And there are people who have had a certain spiritual attainment, they have set themselves up as healers, they have been willing to take on energy from other people. And this has worked for a time because of their spiritual attainment for past lives. But there can come a point where now they have taken so much energy on themselves. And they do not know and efficient way to transmute it, that it begins to burden them. And they might have various psychological issues or even physical diseases as a result of taking on other people’s energy. And this, of course, is not what we recommend from the ascended level. We do not ever recommend that a therapist or healer takes on energy from the clients. We recommend that the therapist helps the clients transform the energy. And of course, that is why we have given our decrees and invocations, because they are the most efficient way to accomplish this, that we have released so far.

Question about current administration of the Korean government

Question: This question is about the current administration of the Korean government. The current administration of Korean government began with the impeachment of the former president through the candlelight demonstrations, and it has created some positive changes such as improving the North-South relations. However, seeing that the administration attempted to manipulate the public opinion during the presidential election, or seeing how the government deals with the accounting fraud cases of the conglomerates in such a lukewarm fashion, I believe it is difficult to expect too many positive changes in the future. Would you comment on how we can take a stand on the current administration?

I recommend you take a more long view and realize that by deposing the former president, you have taken a step in the right direction but it will take time before the changes fully take effect. You have to realize that the former president was simply a symbol and expression of the political climate in the nation. And this means that even though much attention was focused on her, she was sort of just a front figure. And behind her was, of course, a certain political apparatus that has a certain attitude, a certain mindset that has been built over time. And so what has happened is that this mindset has been challenged, but it hasn’t been completely abandoned. And you cannot necessarily expect that this will happen very, very quickly.

What you can do as spiritual people is, of course continue to use the invocations we have given because they are designed to promote changes in many ways. And therefore, you could say that you do not need to be overly concerned about the present administration, you need to see it as a step in the process—a stepping stone in the process towards a better political culture and climate in South Korea. And our invocations are designed to promote those changes in the collective conscience that will also bring about changes in the political climate, and of course in a way to government deals with the big business conglomerates.

Feminist movements in Korea

Question: This question is about feminism. Currently the gender conflict is a serious issue in Korean society, especially among the younger generation, and expanding women’s rights and improving their status in the work place, feminism seems to be a movement where both men and women create a balance with their masculinity and femininity, and represent a vision closer to the spiritual kingdom. However, these feminist activists make claims that encourage social conflicts, such as strongly supporting the abolition of abortion laws, and insisting on quotas of women in high ranking offices. When I see this, I think they are connected to the fallen consciousness that encourages gender conflicts. How should we understand feminism in Korea from the spiritual perspective and how is this movement affecting Korean society?

If you look at what has happened in the western democracies in previous decades, you can see that the pattern of what is going on in Korea right now is somewhat similar in the sense that in order to overcome the old patriarchal culture where women were suppressed and only men were counted as worthy or valuable, you have to break up the old patterns to some degree.

And what you see in most western countries is that there was a feminist movement that from a spiritual perspective was clearly unbalanced. It’s clear that there are some of the more extreme feminists who have ties to the fallen beings. They are attempting to use this feminist movement to create division and conflict in society. There are even some fallen beings who instead are wanting to establish equality between the sexes, want to reverse the situation and get superiority for women as has happened in some past civilizations that are not known by current history making.

So there is a certain tendency that the fallen beings will try to use any change in society to either just create chaos and conflict, or to bring society in a different direction that is as unbalanced as it was before.

Nevertheless we have also stated, and Jesus gave some important teachings on this, that there are situations were a situation has been locked for a long time. And because it has been locked for so long, there are powerful demons that have been created that do not want change and there are certain patterns in the collective consciousness that are working against change. So before a change can happen, these old patterns need to be broken up, so that people can be freed from this habitual thinking and start thinking anew. This means that what they are doing is clearly unbalanced. But it still can have the effect in the short run of breaking up the old matrices so that people are free to look at the issue in a new way. And this is what is happening right now with the feminist movement in Korea, as it has happened in Western nations in earlier decades.

And so what you can do as spiritual people is, of course, you can avoid being pulled into some of these more extreme movements. You can, if you feel inclined, work for a more balanced perspective. But you can also very importantly, make the calls for a more balanced approach to the issue. As you see, there is already some balance in Korean society where many people have realized that it is a matter of breaking the old matrix, and establishing true equality between men and women.

But it doesn’t mean that women men and women are the same. It’s clear that men and women are different, and therefore will have different roles. But they can still be seen as having equal value, and equal importance. It’s clear, as we have said before, that it is a biological necessity currently, that children are produced the way they are produced, and that one of the sexes had to give birth to children. And it happened to be the female sex. This doesn’t mean that there’s anything wrong with this. It doesn’t mean that women should actually rebel against this. Because people need to realize that you are not trapped in a female body forever. You can change bodies in different lifetimes. You can if you so desire, be in a male body in a future lifetime.

So you do not need to feel that there is some kind of cosmic injustice that has happened because you have been born in a woman’s body in this lifetime. And therefore you are the one who has to bear the burden of childbirth and so forth. This is what will fade away when societies begin to establish that true equality between the sexes. You can I already see in some of the western nations such as the Scandinavian nations where they have attained a much more balanced approach to the issue and where radical feminism has largely faded away. And the same thing will happen over time in Korea. But it can be helped along by your calls of course.

The qualifications for the ascension

Question: This question is about the ascension. I would like to know what are the conditions and qualifications for the ascension? Is it possible to know whether we can ascend in this lifetime?

Well, we have already given many teachings in various sources about the qualifications for the ascension. But the most important one that we want to emphasize now is that you resolve your psychology, your primal self, and all of these other selves.

We are no longer recommending that people focus on resolving 51% of their karma and then ascend with that. We are recommending that people focus on resolving as much karma as possible, even resolving all of it before they ascend.

Is it possible for you to know whether you can ascend after this lifetime? Yes, it is indeed possible. There are many ascended master students who have a sense that they can ascend. This is not something you can get from an outer source. It is only valuable if you get it from within.

But I can say that the majority of the people who are open to the teachings we are giving in this dispensation have the potential to ascend if they apply the teachings and the tools we have given them.

The second death and free will

Question: This question is about the second death. I admit that all the conditions that I currently have are the results of my own choices. I’m also aware that my thoughts come from my separate selves, the primal self, and the fallen consciousness. Nevertheless, I’m very tired of being in this dualistic world and very annoyed with my inner psychological processes to get away from the duality consciousness. If I were put in a situation where I was to re-embody or solve my problems in the spiritual realm due to my own unresolved karma and psychological problems, even after committing suicide or dying by natural causes, then I would rather choose the second death. In this case, is it possible to choose the second death with my free will?

Free will is absolute so you can make any choice you want with your free will. However, once you are out of the physical body, and you understand that you cannot go to the second death while you’re in a physical body, you will have a different perspective on things. You will of course, also receive guidance from the ascended masters that you are willing to work with.

Therefore, we will seek to help you see alternatives to the second death. Nevertheless, it’s clear that there are throughout the history of creation, even in different previous spheres, there are beings who have chosen the second death, not as described in the My Lives book, where Lucifer chose the second death.

But they have chosen it mainly because they simply were tired of dealing with their own psychology and the mechanics of life. They were not willing to un-create the psychology that they had created.

We, of course, can only offer help to such lifestreams. We can offer you a different perspective, but if people are not willing to change their minds, then, of course, we cannot prevent them from making that choice. And, we will not attempt to prevent people (lifestreams) from making that choice, if they insist on doing so.

The current situation in Kazakhstan

Question: This question is about the current situation in Kazakhstan. We, the spiritual people in Kazakhstan, were very happy when Nazarbayev, himself decided to resign from the post of president. However, all his subsequent actions demonstrated how much he is obsessed with his power, the cult of his own personality, and the fear of losing his power and the influence of his family. He created a new position, “Leader of the Nation”, which is higher than the post of president. He allowed the capital to be renamed after his own name against the wishes of the people of Kazakhstan. The acting president, a puppet of Nazarbayev announced early elections in Kazakhstan, thus depriving other parties the opportunity to prepare for the elections, except the Nazarbayev party. This party is likely to nominate Nazarbayev’s daughter as a candidate for the presidency. The question is, will Kazakhstan be able to avoid this scenario, so that power will not remain in a family and in such a corrupt government? And is the leader of the main opposition party, the democratic choice of Kazakhstan, a worthy replacement for Nazarbayev’s presidency, and for the current government?

As we have already commented on, it is a step in the right direction that President Nazarbayev has decided to step down. Now, it’s clear that he has remained in the post he has been in for as long as he has, because he has certain issues of a psychological nature, as you correctly stated, the desire to create a certain personality cult around him.

Nevertheless, it is a step in the right direction. It’s clear that this does not mean that he will give up all power immediately, but it does mean that a movement has started that will move Kazakhstan in the right direction. It is also clear that this has happened, partly as a result of the many invocations that people in Kazakhstan have been giving, and, of course, the conferences that you have held in Kazakhstan, where we have released light.

And so, you should be encouraged by what has happened, but you should also take a longer view and not expect immediate and dramatic changes. It’s perfectly true that those who are in power, will seek to hold-on to power. But it is also clear that there is an opening in the Kazakh government, otherwise, this would not have happened in the first place, because most people expected Nazarbayev to remain in power for life. It isn’t in the short term, so important who is nominated for president of which party wins the election, because whoever gets power, in the short term, will find it difficult to hold on to that power.

It’s simply a matter of what does it take for the leaders of the Kazakh government to truly let go of power, even the family of Nazarbayev to give up their desire or their claim for power, so that there can be a truly democratic election, and a new democratically elected government. You have already created a situation with your calls that will expose these attempts to hold on to power. You will see that if, for example, the daughter of the president is elected, there will be clear weaknesses in her ability to exercise power. This will expose the need for further reforms. So in the long term, it will move Kazakhstan in the right direction. The details are not as important as the fact that the nation is moving in the direction of becoming a free democratic nation.
