Question: The scientists of the international community, Allatra Science, have discovered that a mysterious external cosmic impact on our solar system destabilized the core of the earth, which in turn causes abrupt global climatic and geodynamic changes and catastrophes exponentially. The verdict coming out of the mathematical modeling of these changes says that if the divided humanity does not unite in opposition to the global planetary threat, then in a maximum of seven to ten years it may disappear on earth. This is not a realistic scenario, and it is not something that I or any other ascended master sponsors. The human population will not die out in seven to ten years, and the earth will not become uninhabitable in seven to ten years. The earth will progress gradually towards the golden age, and the earth will be here at the end of the next 2,000-year cycle, and so will humanity.

There are all kinds of doomsday scenarios out there, and it is very easy to create a mathematical model that will show whatever you want simply by setting the initial conditions and the formulas a certain way. You can literally prove just about anything by using mathematics in a selective way. So no, this is not a realistic scenario, not something you need to worry about, not something you need to make calls about.

I know that there are many people that are into these doomsday scenarios that will disregard my answer or say that this cannot come from the ascended masters and the messenger is not in touch with the real masters. My only reaction to that is, well, you predicted that humankind would not be here in seven to ten years, so let’s talk then and see if you are still here. I know I will be here.

Extermination of predators and invasive species

Question: There is a problem with predators that can attack people. In some countries, they are totally exterminated, sometimes in an inhumane way. There is also a problem with the animals that were brought to the places where they did not originally live, for example, in Australia. But they are also destroyed en masse by the excuse that they cause harm. Are such actions justified by any necessity?

Well, as we have explained before, there are many animal species that are not natural on earth. In fact, you could say that virtually all of the current animal species are not natural in a sense that they did not exist when the earth was still a natural planet. Many of the animal species are very much affected by the collective consciousness. They are, so to speak, a product of the collective consciousness. Most of the current animal species will actually disappear as we move into the golden age. This is clearly shocking to many people because there are many spiritual people and many environmentally conscious people who find it necessary to preserve the “natural species”, as they call them.

But again, you need to look at what kind of a planet you are on and ask yourself if parasites that invade both human and animal bodies are really natural, if poisonous animals and insects are really natural, if animals that carry disease and spread it to other animal populations or human populations, if that is really natural. You can clearly realize that some things are not natural and there will come a point, as we move into the golden age, where predators will disappear.

Predators became necessary because of the imbalance in the collective consciousness of humankind that has created imbalances in nature. This means that there are certain animal species that are well adapted to their environment and there will be a certain phase where they grow almost uncontrollably, and then suddenly the population crashes and tens of thousands of animals die from starvation. In order to balance this cycle, predators evolved to give a certain natural balance of the number of a certain species. But of course, humankind also has as part of its responsibility to go in and become a balancing factor, that you do not allow an animal population to become so big that it will crash from either starvation or disease or both.

You could say that the biggest challenge of predators is that human beings need to recognize that they are a balancing factor and that human beings have a responsibility to be such a balancing factor to compensate for the imbalances that humankind has created.

Naturally, as countries become more developed, have more developed agriculture, a larger population, these large predators, such as wolves, cannot really exist in these countries. They can exist there, but it certainly is not natural.

The challenge is to realize that you cannot look back to a situation and say: “500 years ago there was a wolf population in Denmark”, for example. Now there was a period where, not quite a couple of hundred years ago, wolves became extinct in Denmark and since then there have not been any. But in the last 10 years wolves have started coming in from Germany and establishing a population that is breeding. You cannot look back and say what was there 500 years ago was natural, and therefore we should allow wolves to re-establish a population because this is natural.

You need to recognize that compared to 500 years ago the population has grown, agriculture has changed, so many things have changed in the country that when you look at current conditions you cannot say that a wolf population is natural. It is actually unnatural given the current conditions. However, this requires you to step back and realize that the fallen beings have influenced the environmental movement so they want to say that any change created by humans is unnatural and only conditions not affected by humans are natural.

But as we have explained, the planet only exists for the growth of human beings. If there were no human beings on the planet there would be no point whatsoever in having animal populations. Human beings are an inevitable, inescapable, and in fact, natural part of life on earth. You cannot say that any change created by humans is unnatural. The current conditions affected by humans are now the natural conditions and therefore it is not natural to have wolves or saber-toothed tigers in these densely populated nations.

Again, in terms of species that have been introduced on continents where they do not normally live, you can say: “Is this necessarily unnatural?” But you can of course look at these populations and say because there are no natural predators, they can reach these very high population numbers that eventually causes them to crash. If human beings have introduced them in a certain environment, they have a responsibility to manage the population and prevent these unbalanced swings.

You can, of course, also say that the Australian people and government have a right to decide that we do not want camels or rabbits roaming free on our continent because it has various negative effects. And then you have a right to say: “Well, we can then attempt to exterminate them even though it is probably not a realistic scenario to do this. But we can at least limit the population so it can have some kind of balance.”

Again, these are difficult questions, but the only real solution is a raising of consciousness where people realize, first of all, human beings are a natural part of life on earth. And you cannot say that what human beings are doing is necessarily unnatural. You can, of course, start to look at human behavior and say certain forms of human behavior are not natural, are not humane, they are not humane towards humans, not humane towards animals and therefore they need to be changed. But this is again a process that will be ongoing as we move further into the golden age. And many refinements will happen as the collective consciousness is raised.

The panik attacks 

Question: A few years ago, my wife had her first panic attack. It was a very powerful attack. I was near her at that moment. She could not move or explain anything and lost her strength. I felt something slippery and very unpleasant running down my back. It felt like intense horror and absorbing fear. It was a shock to me as I had never felt anything like this. We have been working with this for several years, but I am afraid I am a poor helper because such conditions are not natural for me, and it is difficult for us to understand the causes and find effective methods of treatment. Many Ukrainians have similar symptoms since the beginning of the war. Could the ascended masters please give us a broader vision of how to solve this problem?

While a panic attack is always created by dark forces, I am not saying it is always directly the fallen beings, even though if you follow the dark forces back, then you end up with the fallen beings. But there are many dark forces in the emotional realm that are constantly seeking to overwhelm people’s emotions and cause them to go into this state that you can call panic. For people in the world, there is no effective way to deal with this. If you are open to the spiritual path and ascended master teachings, then you can certainly realize that this is dark forces and that you need to approach it as an attack by dark forces and give the calls and invocations to Archangel Michael and Astrea, to Shiva, to myself, for the protection, for the binding of the dark forces, for the protection of the person, the person’s aura, the person’s emotional body. And then, in the more long term, you need to start working on the psychology and ask why the person was vulnerable to this kind of attack?

You might say that the dark forces are constantly directing lower energies at everybody, but not everybody is overwhelmed and goes into a panic attack. There is always a psychological reason why a specific person is vulnerable to this. It is, of course, that there is a separate self, created in past lifetimes where you were exposed to severe trauma. And when you have been exposed to such severe trauma, you are always fearing that something similar could happen again. And that is why you then become open to the dark forces seeking to overpower you by using that fear.

You need to do the work to expose why you have this separate self, what are the characteristics of the self, the belief behind the self, and then work on resolving this. In this respect, even traditional psychology can be a help in giving you clarity, but you will not really be effective in dealing with the issue unless you use the spiritual means for protection and for cutting you free from these dark forces in the astral plane.

The same goes, of course, not only for people in Ukraine, but anybody who has been exposed to this kind of trauma. If you are spiritually interested, then definitely use the spiritual tools to defend your energy field, basically, from the onslaught of these dark forces. It is something that if spiritual people in general could accept this idea and this fairly simple teaching, it could have a tremendous impact on their spiritual growth. Because many, many spiritual people are not going into a panic attack or feeling overwhelmed, but they are still having their spiritual growth slowed down by the influence of these dark forces, who are able to put them into an unbalanced reaction. And an unbalanced reaction does not necessarily mean that you feel fear. It can actually mean that you go into denial, and you are denying that there is any reason to be afraid because: “It is all good”, as so many spiritual people say. But look at the planet and realize it is not all good on earth. And if you do not take measures to stop the dark forces, I can assure you that the dark forces will not stop themselves.

Regaining Crimea

Question: How likely is it that Ukraine will be able to regain Crimea and the rest of the territories militarily or is it important to work on legal means?

It is reasonably likely that they can regain Crimea militarily. Not so likely with the Donetsk region. The importance of regaining Crimea would be that this would very much demonstrate to Russia that they have failed in their attempts because now they have lost something that they had before. In terms of legal means, what legal means exist in the current situation? As this ties-in with the previous question that there is not an international body that can enforce international laws. So when Russia will not respect, for example, the International Criminal Court, what legal means does Ukraine have to get back territory from Russia unless, of course, there was a change in the situation in Russia and that would be more political than legal change.

Building a global humanity standard

Question: Vladimir Putin leads a highly organized and well-equipped group of individuals with various statuses and abundant resources. This group, henceforth referred to as the group, came into power in the Russian Federation through a combination of deception and a series of violent acts many years ago. It is widely believed that this group exploits its authority, often holding the citizens of the country hostage with many people possibly unaware of the situation. Consequently, there is an ongoing debate regarding the legitimacy of this group as the governing body of the Russian Federation given that the legality of elections is often viewed as largely formal. It is necessary to legally separate this group from the Russian Federation and its people in order to diminish its influence. [Kim:  And I am going to skip some of it. It talks about when ordinary citizens commit the same kind of acts that this group commits then they are held accountable by the law but this group can get away with it.] I believe that it is critically important for the international community to establish a global body with the authority to develop new protective mechanisms for human rights and an international procedural code. These should not be subject to the approval of heads of states. These norms should be created and coordinated by individuals who are competent in these matters and possess a high level of consciousness. These norms should be binding for all individuals without exception. Additionally, it is crucial to create an entity capable of apprehending and prosecuting international criminals even those of the scale of Putin’s group on any territory even if this group disagrees with the new international norms. Can you provide an assessment of these ideas to understand whether it is worth conveying them to the international community through legitimate means, or if there are hidden dangers that could benefit the fallen beings. Is it possible to eliminate the weaknesses in these ideas and if so, how?

You raise a very important question that will become more prominent as we move into the golden age. You look at the world today and you look at the many conflicts that are taking place around the world. Ukraine is just one. Look at Nagorno-Karabakh. Look at some of the nations in Africa, Central America, many other issues like this.

Naturally, you could say that there is a need to create an international standard based on humanity, what is acceptable for how you treat other people or your own population. What is an acceptable standard of humanity, and then to create a sort of worldwide police force that could enforce this standard. And the creation of both a certain standard and a worldwide force to enforce it is a valid concern, a valid consideration to raise even now. It is not realistic that it could be created right now, but it is definitely not too early to raise the question.

And many people are, of course, already thinking in these terms. Now you need to realize here that you face some very big obstacles, and that is why I say it is not realistic until the world moves further into the golden age and the golden age mindset. Because if you think about this realistically, you already have an international body that can condemn someone as a war criminal and issue a warrant for that person’s arrest. And there are a number of countries around the world where if this person traveled to these countries, the person would be arrested; would be put on trial at an international court in Hague. However, what you lack is a body, an institution that could enforce this in any country, in other words, some international force that could go into Russia, arrest Putin no matter what happens. And even if the military resisted it, they could then still carry out their task. But you can see, of course, how there would be formidable obstacles to this happening and how many nations would resist this. Very few nations would actually be ready for this even though some of the smaller nations who do not have the big ambitions would be willing to support something like this.

But the question is how you could actually give such an enforcement organization the power to carry out this in any country. Take, for example, the United States, prides itself for being a democratic country dedicated to human rights and humanity. But now imagine that, according to an international standard, what Donald Trump did, in questioning the 2020 election and encouraging people to overthrow the government basically in a coup, which is what they attempted to do, that this was a violation of the international standard. And therefore, this body would now go into the United States and arrest Donald Trump and prevent him from running again as president.

You can see that there are many people in America who would violently resist this, not even those who support Trump but many Americans who will be objecting to some international body having this kind of power in the United States. You see here it is not just a matter of dictatorial nations that would resist this, but certain democratic nations would also resist it. There needs to be many changes that need to happen before this could be realistic, but it is certainly valid to work towards this.

Now it is obvious that there are dangers in doing this and they will need to be addressed, and that is why I again say it is not realistic to do it at this point, because the fallen beings have, for a long time, been working towards a fairly similar goal of creating not only a one world government but also a one world military force that was stronger than any national force and therefore could go into any country and enforce the will of this group of fallen beings who want to control the planet. The central issue would be, how you could create such a body without having it being controlled by the fallen beings. And, of course, given that there is so little awareness of fallen beings that is a very difficult question to resolve. Again, it is valid to debate it, it is valid to look at it.

Are there ways to prevent the dangers? Yes, but only through a raising of awareness and that raising of awareness will take time. Certainly, we are talking decades before this would be realistic. But in the more short term you could, of course, create an international military force that could step in and do what, in a sense, the United Nations was meant to do, but which would actually have the power to do what the United Nations cannot do. In other words, this could be a force created by various nations where, if a nation was under attack by another nation such as Ukraine, they could appeal to this international force to come in and help them defend their country. In other words, this force would not be authorized to take aggressive actions against any country but to help defend a country that is exposed to aggression from another country.

Of course, these are very complicated issues, but it is clear that the world is not going to move into the golden age unless people are willing to deal with these complicated issues. In other words, there has been a tendency, especially in decades past, that ascended master students thought that I am the hierarch for the golden age, and I have a ready-made answer to any problem, and if only people would listen to me, we could solve all problems. But, as we have tried to explain over and over again, our main concern is not to manifest certain physical conditions but to raise consciousness, and if I was the dictator that could tell everybody how to behave on earth, that would not bring the golden age. It only brings the golden age when people are willing to wrestle with the difficult issues, raise their consciousness, tune into me or other ascended masters and receive a higher awareness from inside themselves, not as something that is put on them from the outside. They come to that inner resolution.

In other words, I am not interested in having people obey me. I am interested in people raising their awareness so they see it from within themselves what is the best action to take, what is the best direction for the world to move in. I am interested in raising people’s consciousness, not being a dictator who tells people how to do everything, and then there will be a golden age that will last for a thousand years. That is not a realistic scenario either.

Yes, it is certainly valid, it is certainly very important to consider what can the international community do in these situations where one country or one group of people inside a country such as warlords are able to destabilize an entire country and commit genocide as you have seen in Africa. How can the international community stop something like this and how can they stop it on an even larger scale when a nation commits what can only be considered aggression against another nation or even a group of people such as an ethnic group within its own nation? What can the international community do instead of just looking at this situation, and then when the killing is over offer humanitarian aid?

I know this is a very difficult issue but ultimately, it will need, it will necessitate, that people will start asking: “Why do we have these people on the planet who are willing to commit these inhumane acts? Why is there a small group of these narcissistic leaders who are willing to disregard the humanity, the suffering of even their own people? Why is this possible? Why is this happening?” It does not mean they have to know about fallen beings, because much can be achieved by simply looking at the psychology of leaders throughout history and identifying that there is a certain class of these leaders who want power, who want destruction, who have no respect for human life and human suffering and a responsible international community must do something to either stop them or to prevent them from coming to power.

And this is essentially the essence of this question: How will the world deal with these few people who are willing to do anything regardless of the consequence that it has for others? Because the civilized world cannot allow this to go on. This is really the essential question that needs to be brought out with regards to this topic.

The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh

Question: For more than ten months the population of Nagorno-Karabakh has been blocked by Azerbaijan. People are starving, they have nothing to eat and are cut off from the outside world. There is no fuel, etc. I would like to know the worst and the best scenarios for the people living in this region. There is also another question. What is in store for Armenia due to the fact that it began moving away from Russia’s influence and changing its political course in relation to Russia?

Well, unfortunately there is no easy solution I can give you to this problem in Nagorno-Karabakh. The real issue here is that there are two groups of people who have allowed the fallen beings and dark forces to make them focus on their differences rather than their similarities. What you have is the same kind of conflict that you have among ethnic groups such as, for example, in the Balkans, you have it among religious groups, you have it among tribes in Africa and many other places around the world. And obviously the solution is greater tolerance. But this is not something that is realistic to achieve in the short run and therefore, unfortunately, the more realistic scenario is that there will be more violence, more bloodshed until the international community wakes up and does something about this.

This would, of course, include Russia which is somewhat responsible for the current situation but which is not really in a position to deal effectively with this, partly because it is not realistic that they would start a military intervention and partly because they are not willing to cooperate with the international society about anything. Unfortunately, it is likely to get worse before it gets better.

In terms of Armenia, well again, the country simply needs to ask itself, which direction it wants to move in. It may say because of the current situation in Ukraine, we want to move away from Russia as many other states, former Soviet states and others have said. But it needs to be considered not only what we want to move away from but what do we want to move towards. And then you need to look at where are we at as a nation, as a group of people. What is our level of consciousness? What is our level of humanity? Can we actually fit in with the European nations? Are we ready to approach Europe and eventually maybe become part of the European Union? Are we ready for that? Are we willing to make the changes we need to make in order to qualify, for example, for membership in  the European Union? Is it possible that we can leave the past behind us and approach Turkey and what would that entail? What changes would we have to make in order to do this? There are really some very difficult questions that these nations or these groups of people need to go through before the situation is likely to improve.

Freely available drugs? 

Question: Currently in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, as well as in some other former Soviet republics, there are more than ever people who are sentenced for drug trafficking. The fact is that both those who sell drugs and those who buy and consume them usually do it voluntarily. Wouldn’t it be more logical and fair to hold them accountable only if they harm others? After all, not all drug users are a threat to others. Why keep them at bay by forcing them to deal with the black market? Why do you not just make drugs freely available like alcohol and cigarettes? I understand that this is an unrealistic proposal for the current so-called justice system in our countries. However, I am just interested in this question from the point of view of the Law of Free Will.

Well, you need to consider here that any society needs to create laws. This applies equally to Russia, the former Soviet republics, as to countries in the West or other democratic nations around the world. A country needs to create laws, and if the country is functioning in a reasonable way, those laws will be created based on what is best for the majority of the people. And once you have created laws, then you naturally need to have an apparatus that can enforce those laws and therefore deal with those who violate the law in whatever way the country and the laws prescribe. This will be individual for each country, depending on the level of the collective consciousness.

Naturally, there are countries, there are states in the United States who have made certain drugs legal, and there is debate among many countries about whether to make certain drugs legal. But it is not enough here to look at the free will of the drug users and say that, well, they should have the right to use drugs as they have the right to use alcohol because there are more complicated issues involved with this. We have talked a little bit about this before in some answers to older questions, but what I want to say for now is that it is clear that in the future, in the golden age, as we move further into the golden age, there will be created synthetic drugs that will allow people to change their state of mind in various ways. And these drugs will become legal, and they will have less side effects in terms of health dangers than, for example, tobacco, alcohol, or the drugs that are there today.

The drugs that are there right now, such as marijuana, have very serious dangers to health as well as very dangerous spiritual side effects, and therefore, it is not quite so simple to say that if you allow people to use these drugs and they do not understand the dangers, you are just allowing them to outplay their free will. Is it free will when they do not understand the dangers to their health? Were people exercising their free will 50 years ago when they did not know anything about the dangers of smoking? Then there are the spiritual side effects that are also very dangerous in many of these drugs and can actually set people on a track that will take them several lifetimes to overcome where they dull their spiritual faculties. Can you really say that when people do not understand this, that they are exercising their free will?

It is clear that as we move further and further into the golden age, there will be a change in the laws around drugs, but there will also be a change in the way people look at drugs because many people take drugs because they want to numb their minds because they have such severe psychological issues that it is too much of a psychological, emotional pain for them. And this will, of course, disappear as we move into the golden age and people are taught from childhood how to deal with their psychology. The need for drugs, the desire to take drugs will be less. There will still be some people who have a desire to change their state of mind in various ways and to do this in a chemical way because they are not willing to engage in the spiritual path.

And as societies become more and more, you might say, tolerant of differences, they will have to allow these people to do this, but as I said, there will also be certain drugs that will allow them to do it in a more safe manner. Now, of course, you always have the prospect of some of these books such as 1984 and other books where they talk about drugs being used to control the population and numb the population. And this is already, to some degree, happening, which is one of the reasons why the fallen beings are doing everything they can to actually proliferate drugs in society and to prevent effective law enforcement and putting a stop to it, because they are using the drugs as a way to numb people spiritually. And this, of course, is something that will also disappear as we move into the golden age and the awareness is raised.

The role of spiritual students in Russia

Question: What should ascended master students do in Russia, taking into account that the situation in the country is getting worse, the screws are being tightened and it is becoming more and more dangerous for people just to live?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels.  This answer was given during the 2023 Kazakhstan Conference.

Well, this is a very individual question. You need to make an effort to tune into your Divine plan and find out what it is for you individually. For some, it may be the right move to leave the country, at least temporarily. For others, it may be the right move to stay in the country and keep a low profile. For some, it may be the right move to protest in various ways. However, I will say that for most spiritual people, engaging in protests and being arrested and thrown in jail is not part of your Divine plan, for the most part. You need to know this individually and you need to not decide with the outer mind that I should do this or I should not do that. You need to really tune in.

You could say that for spiritual people, the situation is a great opportunity to increase your attunement with your higher self, your Christ self, your Divine plan. In general, of course, when you stay in the country, you walk the path, you strive to raise your consciousness because that pulls up on the collective. You can give the invocations and decrees and, again, pull up on the collective. You can hold the vision that Russia, as a result of whatever turmoil will happen, is put on the track, as we said, of becoming a civilized, democratic nation that has a higher level of humanity than is currently the case.

A sense of stagnation on the spiritual path 

Question: I have been experiencing a sense of being unable to progress to a new level in my personal growth. While I have a good understanding of many concepts and resonate with the teachings of the masters, it feels like there is something missing that is preventing me from reaching a higher level of self-realization. I am seeking assistance to identify what I might be overlooking and what steps I can take to achieve this new level of personal growth and to make the necessary changes.

As we have said many times, the spiritual path is a process. It is a process that takes time and has different stages. It is not uncommon that people find the spiritual path, find ascended master teachings. They start giving invocations and decrees, studying the teachings, and they feel tremendous growth. And this can go on for some time, often several years. But then there comes a point where you feel like the growth is slowing down, you are kind of stagnating. What can happen to some people is that they get comfortable at a certain level and they now feel that they do not need to do anything drastic, they do need to continue to do what they are doing.

But there are other people that can see that this stagnation is not constructive because it does not lead to growth. If you have acknowledged that, then you need to recognize that the cause of this condition is that there is something you have not seen. And it is ultimately something in your own psychology. But it is also something that relates to your view of the spiritual path, your approach to the spiritual path. As we have said many times, when people first find the path, they approach the path through the perception filter that they have, through the separate selves that they have. And this means that they, in their outer minds, often decide: “This is how the path works, this is what I am supposed to do, this is what is supposed to happen.” And this is inevitable, everybody goes through this. But when you come to a point where you feel like there is some stagnation, you are not making the progress you want to be making, you need to step back and consciously look at your approach to the past and say: “Where is it influenced by the outer mind, by the separate selves?”

You can take some of the teachings we have given on this, and we have given many teachings on this. Find these teachings, study them, use them to step back and look at yourself and say: “How did I approach the path when I first found it? How do I look at the path today? Can I see there is a higher approach? There is a different approach to it. That I do not have to continue doing things the way I did them before, I need to step back, I need to look, find a different approach, and realize that the way I could see the path when I first found it was at a certain level. It was not necessarily wrong, it just was limited. And now that I have been on the path for some time, I can step up to a higher approach.” Do not think that you can find the ultimate approach right now, just look for the next level up and be content that this is the next level, you follow this for some time, and then you might see something higher. 

One of the big hindrances on the spiritual path is when people allow their egos to make them feel that they have grasped how the path works, they have the ultimate understanding of the path. If you allow yourself to believe this, you cannot question your approach to the path. Be willing to step back and realize there is always a higher approach as long as you are in embodiment. There is always more to understand, more to grasp, as the messenger so honestly explained yesterday. You can take what he said, try to really internalize it, look at yourself, and question what you have not questioned so far. This is not a matter of blaming yourself. But unfortunately, for some people, they had this desire to feel that they were special, that they were important people, that they were very spiritual people, that they understood the path. And if you have this attitude, it prevents you from honestly questioning your approach to the path, because it would make you feel like you were not so special after all. 

You have to look at this mechanism, see it in yourself and say: “What do I really want? Do I want growth? Or do I want to feel that I am special or superior?” It is not a matter of saying that you are then wrong or bad or a sinner. You just realize that the path will have stages. Nobody can see everything when they first find the path, nobody can. You always need to question—you always need to come up to a higher level of vision. And therefore, it is wise to adopt the attitude, as the messenger explained, of always being willing to question yourself, never thinking you have the highest possible understanding. Always be open to growth, to a higher understanding. When you are willing to work with the ascended masters, we will give you a higher understanding. But we will give you the understanding you are ready for right now, not the highest possible. We will give you what takes you to the next level. When you have then consolidated yourself at that level, we will give you more. We will take you step by step. It is very wise to adopt the attitude that: “I do not know everything, there is something I cannot see.” And then you reach up to us and ask us to help you see the next step that you take. Not the ultimate step, but the next step. 

And of course, at every level of the path, there is always psychology that needs to be resolved. There are always separate selves that you need to see. This is the path. This messenger had a dream many years ago that he would eventually resolve his psychology, so he would be free and there would be no more psychology to resolve. And as he said, it was a relief for him to give it up because it puts you in a certain state of tension. But of course, you can come to a point, and many of you have reached the point where you have resolved a lot in your psychology. You can switch where you are allowing yourself to accept that you have resolved a lot, but still keeping an open mind that there is more to resolve. And that is why you can switch into this positive approach where seeing something in your psychology is not a negative, it is a positive, because now you can be free of it. And you know you have already resolved so much psychology that you are anchored on the path, you are a, if you want to use that word, “good” student, a mature student. And then you do not need to have that deficit attitude that makes you reluctant to look at something in your psychology. 

There is a certain black and white attitude among many spiritual people, and it was especially prominent in the previous dispensation of the Summit Lighthouse, where people thought that if they saw an aspect of their psychology that was ego or selfish, it would be very, very bad, very, very negative. And that is why they were reluctant to look at it because they were afraid of this reaction. But you who have the teachings we have about the separate self, you can very quickly switch, you can look at this separate self that has this attitude and let it die so you get into a positive approach where you realize that, let’s just say that you have resolved 80% of your psychology. What does it matter that you see something in the remaining 20%? It does not make you suddenly a bad student because you have resolved so much already. You can accept this. It is again this old thing: Is the glass half full or half empty? Let’s say that your psychology is a glass that is full of water that represents the separate selves. And you have a spoon and you take out one spoon at a time. Well, if you have taken out 80% of the water in the glass, that is a major achievement. What does it matter that you see: “Oh, here is another spoonful that I need to take out?” It is just one spoon compared to the 80%. Just get on with it, get that scoop out, get the next scoop out, and all of a sudden you are at 90%. 

This is what we want for all of you, to have this breakthrough where you see that there is no problem looking at your psychology. You do not need to resist it. And you certainly do not need to feel that it is so bad if you see something in your psychology. It is actually a joy to see something and get over it and be even more free.

Political changes in Russia 

Question: How soon can there be a political crisis in Russia which can also end the war? And how ready is Russian society for it? Is any unrest possible in Russia as a result of this crisis?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels.  This answer was given during the 2023 Kazakhstan Conference.

Well, certainly unrest is possible but not likely, for reasons I just explained that the Russian people feel trapped. They do not see what they can do as the people of Russia. This, of course, is because the Russian people were not willing to take advantage of the opportunity they had after the fall of the Soviet Union. We can give reasons for this, but it does not change the conditions. Unfortunately, right now, the only realistic or the most realistic scenario for political change in Russia is that there is a certain power elite that sees that the advantage they got out of having Putin in power has now been diminished to the point where it would be better for them if Putin was no longer in power.

There is the possibility that an aspiring power elite can unseat the established power elite. Unfortunately, this will not bring so much change for the people because the new power elite will want to maintain the same grip on power that the current power elite has, only with themselves in the decision-making positions. It will take, unfortunately, a long time before there is any real democratic changes. It is not impossible that there could be a switch in leadership that would be more democratically minded, but it will take time. And if you want to hold a vision for Russia, it is that Russia is set on a track towards becoming a democratic nation, which also means a civilized nation, where the kind of decisions you see that led to the war are not possible and where the kind of behavior that you see in Ukraine with attacking civilian targets, torture, rape, and so forth are not possible. But that is a more long-term prospect because that truly requires a shift in the collective consciousness towards greater respect for other people’s rights and a commitment to overcome the kind of brutality that, unfortunately, is very widespread in Russian society.

Change in the collective consciousness in Russia and Ukraine

Question: How has the collective consciousness in the Russians and the Ukrainians changed over the one and a half years of the war?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels.  This answer was given during the 2023 Kazakhstan Conference.

Well, the biggest change has been in Ukraine. And that change started basically on the day the invasion started. Because before the war, there was a great division in the Ukrainian collective consciousness in terms of their relationship to Russia, where most people actually wanted to maintain a positive relationship with Russia. And that desire was shattered almost on the first day of the war. And it has just continued to erode so that there has been much more of a black and white attitude that has emerged in Ukraine towards Russia, where most people now realize that we cannot maintain a positive relationship with Russia and at the same time remain an independent nation.

And many more people now in Ukraine, except for the very eastern provinces, now have the attitude that we want to be a separate independent nation. And many more people have switched and realized that the only way we can be a separate, independent nation is to get support from the West, live up to Western democratic principles, Western economic principles, instead of trying to sit between two chairs, Russia and the West. There has been a considerable and very decisive shift among a majority of Ukrainians to switch towards the West and become more of a modern Western nation, joining the EU, joining NATO if possible. And this is something that was already started before the war, but it could have taken a decade or two before Ukraine was ready to make the commitment to join the EU or NATO. And now there is much more of a commitment. As we said in the webinar for Ukraine, there are some big hurdles to pass because there needs to be that commitment to eradicate corruption. Otherwise, Ukraine cannot join the EU.

Now, in terms of the Russian collective consciousness, regardless of what is said in the media, regardless of what people talk about, the start of the special military operation was still a shock in the collective consciousness—both in the emotional, mental and identity level. Many, many Russians have asked themselves the question, at least in their own minds: “Why would we start a war against a friendly nation that we claim to be our brothers?” And they have also asked the question: “Why did the West react the way they did this time, when they did not really react when we took Crimea? What was the difference? Why is the West now so determined to stop us from taking over Ukraine? Why is Ukraine so determined to fight against Russia and separate itself from Russia? What was the difference?” These are some of the questions that are very prominent in the collective consciousness, even if many people are not consciously aware of it. Then of course, in the emotional body, there is tremendous fear. What will the future bring?

There are some commentators who have said that there was a certain social contract between the Russian government and the people, where the people said: “You give us reasonable daily living conditions and we will not tell you how to run the country. You can do whatever you want in the political arena as long as you do not interfere with our daily lives.” And there is some validity to this.

Now that the war started, there is fear of what will the future bring? Will life be able to go on or will there be drastic changes? So far, most people think the changes have not been so drastic, but there is still the fear of what could happen. There is also the fear of how will the rest of the world look at Russia as a result of the war and after the war? How will this force us to look at ourselves, to change how we look at ourselves? And there is a very strong fear now of what the future might hold. Whereas before, there was a certain optimism that things are not so bad, things are maybe gradually getting better, and Russia is a great country and it is an important country in the world. And now there is a fear of what has happened to Russia’s standing in the world.

Now, most people in Russia are not consciously aware of the shift that has happened. We have talked about it before, how there was a decisive shift in the democratic world towards Russia when the invasion happened. Because suddenly, the hope that the democratic nations had that Russia would gradually improve was shattered. And the democratic nations were forced to admit that they had been naive. They have had a naive attitude towards Putin and his government. And this has been a difficult pill to swallow for many in the democratic nations. And it still is not fully resolved. And there is still uncertainty in the West as to how will the relationship with Russia be in the future. And this also affects what is going on in the Russian collective consciousness because people sense this unconsciously. They sense the insecurity, they sense the shift, but they do not know what exactly it means. And the problem, of course, is that there is no way to resolve this in the Russian collective consciousness because there is no free debate. There is only the government version that is being enforced so strictly, which is exactly the same that was there in the Soviet times so therefore, there could not be any resolution.

Now, you actually had, during Soviet times, a majority of the Russian people who were wondering: “Why do we have this kind of government? Why do we have a communist economic system?” And the majority did not really support it, but there was no way for them to express that, and it is the same today. The majority of the Russian people want what the majority of the people in the rest of the world want: good daily lives, good personal lives. And now they are fearing that this might be under threat, but they do not see any way that they can have an influence on it. And this ties in with what we already said about pacifying the people because they do not see what they can do about it.

Of course, if the Russian people would come together and stand up and demand change, the government would have to change, no matter what the conditions are. But the Russian people currently do not believe that this is possible, and that is why they are trapped. They feel insecurity, they feel the fear, but they feel powerless to do something about it, and what does that mean? The fear grows, the insecurity, the sense of insecurity grows, the sense of being powerless grows. And when you are powerless and see that there are inevitable changes, well, you feel more and more fear, unfortunately. None of us as ascended masters have any desire to see this. But again, when you have taken a certain development into the physical, there is little we can do but step back and allow physical events to unfold.

Upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine

Question: In 2024, there will be a presidential election in Ukraine. On the one hand, the election is an indicator of the country’s commitment to the principles of democracy. On the other hand, the need for it in a fighting country is questionable. How do the ascended masters look at this?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Kazakhstan  Conference.

Well, it would be preferable to postpone the election as long as the war is in its current state. But nevertheless, this needs to be decided by the Ukrainian leadership. We recognize fully from the ascended perspective that the leaders of Ukraine are in a very difficult position. And they are, so to speak, as the old saying goes, between a rock and a hard spot. And the rock is, of course, Russia, which wants to achieve its objectives. And the other, the hard spot is the Western democracies who want to continue supporting Ukraine, but who will only do so if Ukraine is true to democratic principles. Ukraine feels pressured, therefore, to hold the elections as scheduled and to make them as free as possible so that they can demonstrate their commitment to democratic principles. But as I said, as long as the war is raging as it still is, it would be preferable to say, We will postpone the elections for a year and then we will see how it will go.

Ukraine’s membership in NATO

Question: From the point of view of the ascended masters, would the proposal of some Western leaders to surrender territories in exchange for peace with possible guarantees for Ukraine to have membership in NATO, which may protect it from further aggression from Russia, be a good solution for Ukraine? Are the ruling elites in Russia ready to support this proposal, which means that they will permanently lose control over the other part of Ukraine at the same time?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Kazakhstan  Conference.

Well, we have quite some time ago said that it needed to be considered whether there are certain eastern provinces in Ukraine where the population feels such a tie to Russia that they needed to experience being part of Russia. And therefore, it would be even before the war, necessary for Ukraine to consider giving up those territories so that these people could have the experience that they desire to have. Even before the war, we have talked about this as a possibility. And it is still a possibility, but if this means that Ukraine would become a member of NATO, then this cannot happen while Putin is in power, unless he had a complete change of mind because he realized that it was the only way he could stay in power was to accept this.

But it is rather difficult to see him making that switch at the present moment, because he is in such a state of delusion that he thinks he can achieve his goals. Even though he does not have a clear definition of what those goals are, he still thinks that he can turn the situation around, so he holds on to power and does not lose face. He can present it as: “I achieved the goals I wanted to achieve.” And this is very difficult to see how he can do this and allow the expansion of NATO with the inclusion of Ukraine. It is possible that this scenario could be realistic, but it would require at the present, Putin to be removed from power, or it would require such a change in Putin, but that is difficult to see even from the ascended perspective.

What is the most realistic scenario for the war in Ukraine?

Question: Despite the fact that the war in Ukraine is going on for a long time and people feel very tired of it, there are no prospects for the end of the conflict. Instead, there is an involvement of more countries in it. In this regard, could the ascended masters clarify some points? What is the most realistic scenario for the further development of this conflict? Can the war drag on for a year or two more?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Kazakhstan  Conference.

Well, initially, we hoped that the war would not drag on, and there were some prospects that this could have happened, but they have not come to pass, mainly because there has not been a critical mass in the Russian population who have really changed their approach, not only to the war but to the government, to the country, and the development of the country.

Unfortunately, the more realistic scenario is that it will drag on at least into the next year, and perhaps in some form longer, like you saw with after the takeover of Crimea and the situation in the eastern part of Ukraine, there was essentially a state of war for several years, even though it was not the kind of warfare you have now.

Now, it is clear that the Ukrainians are very determined, and it is a realistic scenario that they will make progress and drive the Russian forces back. It is possible there can be some kind of collapse of the Russian armed forces, but it is not something that will happen in the very short term.

One realistic scenario is that the Russian armed forces can break down, the Russian economy can start to break down, it already has started, but it can become more and more obvious. And therefore, it can come to a point where somebody in Russia realizes that Putin is now more of a hindrance than a help for the future of Russia, and therefore, they decide to get rid of him in some way. Another possible scenario is that Putin manages to hang on to power regardless of how badly things go, and that there comes a point where there is a sort of stalemate because no side can really make any progress. And that is, of course, the least desirable scenario, even for Russia, because this will only increase the burden on the Russian people in terms of Russian soldiers, but also on the economy.

How to combine spirituality with direct engagement in society

Question: Amid the well-known events, there is a certain spiritual boom in Russia. A large number of different Hindu gurus, spiritual lecturers, positive psychologists, numerologists, yoga instructors, nutrition and healthy lifestyle specialists, expends its activity. Many of them are quite popular. They are selling information. The product they are selling is expensive, and the training gather full halls, and thousands of people sign up for their webinars. 

But I noticed that these people have a similar trait. They do not dare to say anything openly about the situation in the country, the actual war or the politics of the ruling elite. It looks like a kind of agreement with the devil: We do not touch you while you do not touch us. And on the other side, there is another group of people who do not talk about spirituality, but simply advocate for the rights and freedoms of both their own and others. These people are not popular. Instead, they often are being attacked by different forces and even are subject to repression.

Does it make sense for someone to try to combine all of this to talk about spirituality and rights and freedoms at the same time?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Kazakhstan  Conference.

Well, of course it makes sense because that is what we have been doing all along as ascended masters. We are addressing the actual events. We are also doing it from a spiritual perspective. Of course, this makes sense for people, but of course you should not expect to be popular as we of the ascended masters are not popular and really have no desire to be. But to go to the first part of your question, you can simply ask yourself this. Go back and ask yourself, during communist times, why did the communist party who had all power, why did they still allow the Orthodox Church to exist? Or in other nations, such as Poland, allow the Catholic Church to exist during communist times? Why not simply wipe out all religion when the Marxist doctrine was clearly anti-religious? And the reasons for this is very simple. Because religion pacifies people.

What did Karl Marx say? Religion is the opium of the masses. Well, what was the main goal of the ruling elite of Russia during Soviet times? To pacify the people. Anything that helped pacify the people, they would accept. What is the main goal of the ruling elite of Russia today? To pacify the people, so they do not rise up and demand change. All of these gurus serve essentially that goal: to pacify people. Because what do they promise?

You look at what we have said before, that there is great upheaval in the identity, mental, and emotional bodies of the Russian people, the collective bodies. Great upheaval. People feel that something has happened that is not good. They are affected by this. They are looking for a way out. And here comes these self-help gurus and they promise them an easy way out so they can feel better without addressing the actual political situation in the country. And this serves the cause of the ruling elite because it gives people hope that they can feel better without changing the political situation. It pacifies them and it does exactly what the ruling elite wants. It is to some degree the same in the West where also many spiritual people have been pacified by pursuing spiritual goals, and saying: “Oh, we do not want to bother with politics. It is not spiritual.”

What have we consistently been saying as ascended masters going back through previous dispensations? A combination of a direct engagement in society while still walking the spiritual path. Wherever that leaves you individually is a decision you need to make. How risky is it to speak out as the situation is in Russia? Is it part of your Divine Plan to do this or not? I am not trying to say here that you should risk your lives or imprisonment in order to speak out. That is not what I am saying. Because as we have also said, there is a difference between the self-help gurus who promise you that you can feel better, and ascended masters. We are not promising you that you can come to feel better. We are promising you that you can raise your consciousness and thereby pull up on the collective. And there is a very important difference there.

I am not trying to say here that people who are engaging in some kind of spirituality—popular spirituality—that they are not having a positive impact. Anything that raises the consciousness will have an impact. But unfortunately, as it was during communist times, the religious people in Russia had very limited impact on improving conditions there. And so it is with those who are going for this, we might call it “feel-good” spirituality. They have some impact, but not nearly as much as they could have if they truly walked the spiritual path and transcended their state of consciousness.

The Akashic Records technology and history

Question: When people want to justify their cruelty, indifference, or cynicism, they most often refer to history. This is what Putin did to his people, imposing his vision of history on them. This is what many other people do, trying to justify the cruelty of one people to another people. At one of the conferences, Mother Mary mentioned that there will come a time when the true history will be known to humanity. How long should we expect before such times arise? 10, 20 years, or even 100 or more? And how significantly will it influence human minds? Will nations repent upon discovering that many generations were grievously deceived?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Kazakhstan  Conference.

Well, I cannot give you an exact number of years, because this is not going to happen in one decisive event. It is going to happen as a gradual process. This process has already been going on for a long time in some nations, whereas there are other nations that still are trapped in this very manipulated view of history. In a sense, you could say that all nations are trapped in a manipulated view of history, but for some, the deception is more severe.

Eventually, what will truly make a huge difference is when we will be able to release the technology that Saint Germain has talked about for reading the Akashic Records. Because when humankind will be able to read the Akashic Records, there is no falsifying history. There is no manipulation of history when you can go and see an actual recording of the actual events that took place. However, you have to realize that this is also a very delicate balance for us as ascended masters to determine when to release this technology. And the reason for this is the Law of Free Will and what we have explained about the plausible deniability and the plausible plausibility.

In other words, as the collective consciousness is right now, it is possible for people to hide behind an outer appearance. A person can create the appearance that he is honest, and he has this honest business proposition and thereby get other people to invest in that, when in reality it was a scam from the beginning. Likewise, a leader of a nation can pretend to have a certain view of history and when there is nothing to compare it to for the people inside the nation, they might believe it.

You will notice that Hitler, for example, was very good at manipulating history up until the defeat of Germany in the Second World War. And it was only when the brutality, the inhumanity of the concentration camps became known to the German people that the German people snapped out of this propaganda that they had come to believe in, in the decade leading up to the war.

There is right now, as the collective consciousness is, there is a need to maintain this plausible deniability where people can create a view of history and they can believe in it. And it is a delicate balance for us because if we were to release this technology today, it would be such a shock that many people would not be able to adjust to it. Now, you can always say: “Well, some people would just deny the technology, that it even exists.” But once this technology is released, it is very difficult to deny it. It is sort of like the nuclear bomb, the atom bomb. Once it was invented, it was very difficult to dis-invent it. And once America was discovered, it was very difficult to reverse that process. The same with this technology for reading the Akashic Records. Once it is released, it really cannot be taken back and it cannot be denied because it is one of those things where once it is there, it will very quickly spread so that nobody can really deny it.

You can just look at many nations around the world and Russia certainly is not the only one where they have created a certain view of history that supports the way things are right now. Even in the West, you have a power elite that has managed to create a view of history that it is beneficial for even a democratic nation to have a power elite that runs the economy. You have the Catholic Church who, in many nations, still maintains this view of history that portrays them as a benevolent force in history. You have many, many examples of this. And the question really is, can people acknowledge that they have been deceived? Are they willing to acknowledge this?

But it is also a matter of, are they capable without it being too disruptive to their sense of self? You could say, if you look at this from a historical example, you can say that Nazi Germany committed horrendous evils against humanity, clearly inhumane acts with the concentration camps and with the war. But we as ascended masters never had a desire to punish the German people. We only wanted the German nation to move on. Now, when events take place that are taking place in the physical, such as Hitler starting the war, he put Germany on a track where it was predictable, at least by us, that the war would only last a certain time. It would end in Germany’s defeat. It would end with the inevitable exposure of the concentration camps. And this would be a tremendous shock to the German population. Now, we of the ascended masters would have preferred that the German nation could have gradually grown to a higher level of consciousness. That was our preferred plan, so that you could say that without having the shock of the war and the concentration camps, Germany could have within 10, 15 years have made the same amount of progress. But that did not happen due to the choices of Hitler and his power elite and how the German people followed that.

And you see a somewhat similar situation in Russia today. As we have said before, by initiating the war or the ‘special military operation’, Putin has set Russia on a track where now the physical events become the teacher of the Russian people. It is really just a matter of, as we have said before, how hard do the knocks have to become before it becomes undeniable that the Russian people were deceived by the power elite. And therefore, the Russian people will have to go through the shock of realizing that they were deceived. And you can see how the German nation, how great of a shock this was, and how the German nation almost went into a collective sense of depression after this happened. Now, we of course, again, have no desire to punish the Russian people. We would like to see, as we have said many times in dictations, for Russia to make progress and have the same kind of freedom, the same kind of affluence that you see in the most affluent and free nations.

We would like to see that for all nations on earth. So yes, as the question says, once it has become undeniable that people in a nation were deceived, then the nation has to change, and the nation will change. There are these two ways that nations can learn. Through the School of Hard Knocks, where physical events will have to be outplayed to such an extreme that they cannot be denied, or through having some kind of direction where people are willing to change by looking at themselves. And right now, it would be too great of a shock if we released the technology for reading the Akashic Records. How long will that take? Well, a careful prediction is several decades. It could be shortened somewhat, it could be extended somewhat, depending on how various people around the world, in all nations, for that matter, react to this, but we are looking at most likely several decades before this technology can be released. Hopefully sooner, but again, people have to be ready to accept something like this, because it is a technology that is irreversible.

How to free yourself from negative memories

Question: I do not understand the mechanics of my memory. Is memory based in free will too? Does it have autonomy? I have noticed that sometimes when I dissolve a particular separate self, a chunk of memory goes along with it. Why do I seem to easily forget some things I wish to remember later? Is memory selective in accordance to your Divine Plan? Should I train my memory or leave it to my higher self to work with this body of mine?

Well, I have given some teachings on memory that you might seek out and look at. We can basically talk about two kinds of memories. There are the memories that are stored in your causal body. These are the positive life lessons that you and your I AM Presence have learned from being in embodiment. Then there are memories that are stored in your subconscious selves, often your separate selves. And these are, of course, the experiences you have had through those separate selves where the selves have colored the way you experience the situation.

You very often have a separate self that holds a negative memory of a particular event whereas your causal body has a positive memory of the same event. The question is what you are attuned to with the conscious self, with the Conscious You. And, of course, many times we are pulled into these separate selves and therefore remembering the negative. But this can be overcome by resolving those selves as you have experienced and as many people have experienced.

But there can come a point as I have described before where you simply need to make a decision to erase the memory, to let go of the memory, to refuse to have it projected at you because sometimes memories are not actually memories, they are projections from the dark forces who are seeking to pull you into this repeated pattern of emotion. Even if a separate self is gone there can still be a projection that ties in with this.

That is where you can come to the point where you can consciously let go of and dismiss negative memories. Once you have learned a lesson from a situation what is the point in even remembering the situation? What is the point in remembering at the 49th level of consciousness what you did at the 48th level of consciousness? You have risen to a higher level of consciousness. There is no need to hang on to this.

When you walk the path, when you reach a certain level of consciousness you might look back at situations you encountered 20 years ago or people you knew 20 years ago and you might realize: !I am not the person who was in those situations. I was not the person who was in a relationship with that other person because I have changed so much, raised my sense of self so much that I am a different person.” Now the other person can still remember what you did and might take joy in reminding you of the mistakes you made 20 years ago but there comes a point where you have earned the right to say to such people: “I am not the person you are talking about so why do you keep talking to me about this?” And the same with other memories. You have a right to dismiss them but you should, of course, dismiss them after you have learned the lesson you can learn from it and overcome the selves that caused you to, so to speak, create that memory.

About missing an opportunity in your Divine Plan

Question: I am recently divorced from an abusive husband, and it has always been turbulent regarding finding the right partner. I am wondering if one makes a certain choice of doing something, can this one choice lose my opportunity to meet someone who I think I have a connection with and may potentially be the partner in my Divine Plan? How easy is it to lose a certain outcome due to just one simple action or choice in the interdependent originations of things? And if so, how can I go beyond blaming myself? Or if they are in one’s Divine Plan, is it not that complicated and not that easy to lose the potential to meet them?I have been a bit reckless and faced some harsh backlash from some group of people.

Following your Divine Plan is largely a matter of your intuition. You cannot know with the outer mind what is in your Divine Plan. You can have a strong sense of intuition, some people have it from an early age, and therefore they use their outer minds to kind of reinforce the impression and study a particular area, for example. But for people who are not as intuitive and who are more impulsive in making decisions, it is certainly easy to miss an opportunity. And many people have, of course, done this, especially in their teenage years and in their youth, when they are more impulsive, make these not very informed or very aware decisions. One of the very common ways to miss an opportunity in your Divine Plan is to take drugs, especially the more severe drugs. Alcohol is also a way, but also being very impulsive, seeking to always go to extremes can block your intuition. Certainly there are many people who have missed the opportunities they built into their Divine Plan to meet a particular partner.

Now, of course, when you make a Divine Plan, you are also looking at your psychology. You are looking at: “Do I have certain tendencies that might block me from fulfilling my Divine Plan?” You do two things, you can choose a particular situation to be born in, you can choose certain partners who will force you, so to speak, to deal with that aspect of your psychology. But what you can also do is you can have a backup plan. If there is a certain partner you are meant to meet and you do not meet that partner, then there is another one that you could meet at a later time. And most people have a backup plan. There are, of course, also many people who have as part of their Divine Plan to have several partners, because you learn different aspects from each one, hopefully.

What you realize is that you can certainly lose a specific opportunity to meet a specific person. But for most spiritual people it is, this does not mean you have lost the opportunity to fulfill your Divine Plan, because the primary aspect of your Divine Plan is your growth in consciousness.

This can be achieved in many different ways. And the outer circumstances are not what guarantees or produces the shift in consciousness. It is your willingness to look at yourself. If you realize you have not had as much willingness to look at yourself as you could have had, then you can, of course, change that consciously and go into using spiritual and psychological tools to heal your psychology. And that then will bring you closer to fulfilling your Divine Plan. Your Divine Plan is not primarily focused on specific physical results or situations, but much more on the transformation of consciousness.

How are retreat locations chosen?

Question: This question is for Paul the Venetian. How are retreat locations chosen? For example, why is your retreat located over southern France and not say Venice, Italy? What is the impact of a retreat on the hosting country and area?

Answer from the Ascended Master Paul the Venetian through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Korean Conference.

Well, there is a science to where we place our retreats. But it is a rather complicated science. And since you as an unascended being do not need to choose where to place a spiritual retreat, I will not go into it because it is simply too complex. What we can say in general is that we look at the collective consciousness, we look at the energy field of the planet. And we plan the impact at the time we are placing the retreat there. Now, this can, of course, shift over time.

Once we have given these locations for ascended master students, telling you that retreats have been moved can often create… What we have said, especially in this dispensation, is that you should not focus on the physical location. A retreat is located in the etheric realm. It is not a physical retreat. The idea that you see in previous dispensations that there is a physical equivalent of a retreat is not the highest understanding. There are ascended master students who have traveled to physical locations of the retreat, hoping, as some people in the United States have done, that they will find Table Mountain in Wyoming and Saint Germain will open up the Cave of Symbols and let them in physically. But this is not the way a retreat works. We do not, as a general rule, recommend that people go to the physical locations of the retreats, certainly not with the expectations that something miraculous should happen.

But they are chosen for specific reasons. And I know this, again, will sound illogical because when you look at a map, they are not spread out evenly or in any kind of pattern around the earth. But we are not looking at a physical pattern. We are looking at a very complex equation in the collective consciousness, in the energy field of the emotional, mental, and identity bodies of the planet.

The impact that a retreat can have for the area varies quite a bit. There is a tendency that when we place a retreat somewhere, especially a retreat that is placed to counteract certain dark forces, then people who have a tie to dark forces will be drawn to that area because they will attempt to counteract the effects of the retreat. But generally the idea of having a retreat can be several things. One of them is to radiate energy from the retreat into the energy field of earth, which can be either to counteract certain dark energies or to spread positive energies. But another function of a retreat is, of course, to allow spiritual students to go to a particular, we might say, energetic matrix, where they can receive both instruction and healing.

You will see that some retreats are not placed near population centers, but on more remote locations, such as the Royal Teton Retreat, and others, of course, as well. Again, there is a science, but a very complex science. You cannot fully appreciate it until you have ascended.

Divination and the need to always be right 

Question: I created a system to communicate with my higher self which more than once has proved to be a failure giving me wrong prompts. It is based on sort of a binary physical twitch. I reckon that is limited as not everything can be answered in a binary code. I do not even remember how this system came to be but it was early in the path. Lately it has been representing an issue as it is autonomous and prompts me on its own. It does so from very light decisions to more important ones. Sometimes the twitching is stronger than others. I sometimes doubt that this is coming from my higher self or that it is been hacked either by strange forces or by any separate self I have to the point I do not want it no more. Yet it might have some value. Can the Masters help me clarify this? Is this coming from a trustful source? If you wish to add, what is the best way to communicate with our higher selves?

It is not a reliable method and it is not coming from a reliable source. What you are basically describing here is what you might call a form of divination. There are, of course, many forms of divination that people have developed throughout the ages. From tarot cards to Ouija boards to muscle testing to astrology to many other things. And this is not a viable way to communicate with your higher self or the ascended masters. It never has been and it never will be.

This is not to say that once in a while people can get a good direction that helps them make a good decision. But this is often done so that people will continue to believe in the system and the source that it is coming from. That you might have some good decisions coming from the system but in the overall in the long run it is a negative that takes you lower. It also causes you to go into a state of codependence where you are not taking responsibility for yourself and making your own decisions. We of the ascended masters do not recommend any kind of divination for our direct students.

Use the tools, resolve your psychology, call forth protection, call for you to cut free from lower forces and you will begin to gain better and better decisions from within. Take responsibility for making your own decisions and you will get better and better directions. These tools we have given and described in many places can help you. Resolving the separate selves is an important step because this desire to have this infallible direction always comes from separate selves. The ego and the separate selves are the ones who want to always be right. They want to know ahead of time what is the right thing to do. This is not always the case. For some people their egos want to make decisions so they can feel they are right or superior. But such people are usually not open to divination. Those who are open to divination are because they want to know what is right before they make a decision because they do not want to take responsibility for experimenting, making a decision and learning from the outcome.

If you want the outcome to be right before you make a decision, you are demonstrating that you are not willing to learn from the outcome. Because otherwise, why would you need to know ahead of time what the outcome will be?

How to deal with hypersensitivity

Question: Could you please elaborate about the condition of hypersensitivity regarding emotions and the senses, not the medical immune system condition? I am and I know many gifted persons, often spiritual persons, who struggle very much with being overwhelmed by any kind of stimulation, creating some form of permanent saturation, some people even describe permanent pain. It feels like some huge limitation to accomplishing my Divine Plan since I cannot bear as much as ordinary people being always exhausted. Could you tell us where this state comes from? Is it a characteristic of the Conscious You or is it just for a lifetime? Is it due to some separate self or previous psychological wounds? Could it be explained by some enormous burdening karma, be it personal or planetary, as you explained in your Abundant Life book? Please tell us how to turn this condition into some strength for spiritual growth or even transcend it totally. Is it even possible to attain peace of mind or your ascension with this condition?

Well, one aspect of this condition that many spiritual people have is that you are spiritual because you are more sensitive. This means that you are more sensitive to energy primarily because how do you sense that there is a spiritual reality beyond the physical? Your physical senses cannot tell you that there is a reality beyond the physical. You sense this intuitively because you have developed this sense, the sixth sense some call it, to sense energy. You can sense there is a higher vibration than what you encounter in the material world and therefore you are open to the idea of a spiritual realm and a spiritual path. This is the positive outcome of being sensitive. Most spiritual people would not be on the spiritual path consciously if they did not have the sensitivity.

However, what has happened to many spiritual people is that they have not developed sufficient discernment and I am not here talking about just this lifetime but previous lifetimes as well. And for some people this can go back to this original birth trauma and the creation of the primal self. As a result of not having discernment they are open to many kinds of energies especially from other people.

What ideally happens when you walk the spiritual path is that you increase your sense of discernment. You can remain open to the higher energies in the spiritual realm but you close yourself off from the lower energies coming from other people or even dark forces. You are still sensitive but selectively sensitive. Many spiritual people have not developed this discernment and as a result their auras, their energy fields are open to lower energies especially from people that are close to them or that they feel some obligation towards. And this can in many cases go all the way back to the birth trauma where you come as an avatar to this planet and you are here not for your personal gain or enjoyment, you are here to help other people or at least that is the vision you have when you come.

Many go through this original trauma being put down by the fallen beings but also being ignored or even put down and ostracized by the majority of the people on earth. You are shocked by this and you think that you are here to help people so even if people put you down you cannot just walk away from them, ignore them, seal yourself off from them. You develop these often several different subconscious selves that makes you feel you have some kind of obligation towards other people. You should be kind, you should be friendly, you should be empathetic, you should be helpful, many of these separate selves. This means that you are now opening yourself to taking in these people’s energies and to letting them take energy out of your energy field. This is what drains you of energy and floods your aura with negative energy that makes you tired or feel down.

One immediate course of action is to use our decrees and invocations primarily to Archangel Michael and Astraea to seal your aura, your energy field from these lower energies. But in the long term it is necessary to use the tools given in the book Healing Your Spiritual Traumas and the other books in that series so you can develop a vision of these selves, separate yourself from them and let them die.

And when you do this you will have a foundation for consciously developing this discernment where you consciously decide: “I am not obligated to take in all kinds of energies that people direct at me nor am I obligated to give my energy to people even if they demand it or try to manipulate me into feeling pity or empathy.”

You can benefit also from looking at some of the teachings that are common in psychology these days about the extra sensitive people or the empaths as it is called and use them as well but you will get by far the best results by using our teachings about the separate selves and of course the invocations and decrees.

This condition that you are describing is common among creative and spiritual people but it is not inevitable, it is not necessary and it is not natural and it does not actually benefit the people who steal your energy because a lot of that energy goes to dark forces anyway. It can also be helpful to develop this awareness of the dark forces and the fallen beings and we have, of course, given teachings on this but I suggest that reading the book My Lives will be a good start to get some feel for this if people are not familiar with ascended master teachings.

Truly many many spiritual people could benefit from this teaching and there are certainly people not only today but in previous times as well who have missed fulfilling their Divine Plan and missed their ascension because they had this mistaken belief that they should give their energy to other people or take in other people’s negative energy. There simply comes a point where you need to decide, do you want to make your ascension, do you want to fulfill your Divine Plan or do you want to continue allowing other people to flood you with negative energy and drain your positive energy.

It can be a hard decision for many sensitive people to make but if you will focus on overcoming these selves it will become easier and easier to make that decision. You can also call especially to Astraea to cut you free from the ties you have to other people and this will also make it easier for you to decide to focus on what you yourself put in your Divine Plan. Remember your Divine Plan was not forced upon you it was what you yourself wanted to accomplish for this lifetime so you do not have an obligation to allow other people to derail the choices you made before you came into embodiment.

Being the open door and making choices 

Question: A quote from Master Jesus: “You have to make a free choice to go through it, meaning the gate that leads to the ascended realm.” The spiritual path, our masters say, is an internal path, a process of a continuous transformation within our sense of identity. It is a process of gradually separating from the identification with the outer personality, our physical body and physical senses, the ability to go beyond our external mind into the core of our divine identity. We could think that in all this process through which we are becoming one with our Presence, we would naturally and spontaneously be spiritual and would not need to make choices because we could not be anything else but our true identity. But this is not the case as Master Jesus tells us. From one side point it is logical that this is so because we must always be able to deny our true identity in order to be free. But from another side, how is it possible that a fully developed spiritual being on earth that feels one with all life can choose to deny his true identity? Isn’t this a paradox? Is freedom a different thing to the still not ascended beings and ascended masters?

Well your question builds on a misunderstanding or a lack of understanding of the process we have actually described. First of all, you do not have to deny your true identity in order to be free or in order to make free choices. This is the lie projected by the fallen beings that only by rebelling against God’s will did they gain their own free will.

And it may indeed seem as if when you go into separation and use the dualistic mind to justify your choices that you have a level of free will that you do not have when you see yourself as a connected being. But it will only seem that way because your choices will limit your consciousness which will limit your vision of the options you can choose. You see that the fallen beings are not making creative choices, they are repeating the same choices over and over again just in slightly different disguises and with slightly different justifications.

You need to discern here that it is not so that when you are separated from or do not see yourself connected with your higher self then you are making choices and you need to recognize that it is not so that by connecting more and more to your higher self you stop making choices. Why is this so? Because you are a co-creator. Your I AM Presence is a co-creator, the Conscious You is an extension of your I AM Presence so you are also a co-creator.

Well, how does a co-creator co-create? By making choices. Now, ultimately the greatest freedom of choice is when you see yourself as connected with the whole in which you live. You make choices that enhance the whole, that raise up the whole. But you are still making choices. The I AM Presence made a choice to send the Conscious You into embodiment. You are growing in consciousness by making choices. As you become more and more an open door for your I AM Presence, your I AM Presence can work through you but this does not neutralize the Conscious You’s ability or responsibility to make choices. You may feel a prompting from your I am Presence but you still make choices as to how you specifically carry it out. This is co-creation.

When you truly look at this there is no paradox. The paradox is only there when you are mixing these ideas up and not seeing it from the Christ perspective. The Christ is the consciousness of Oneness but Oneness does not prevent you from making choices. It causes you to make choices that expand your options, expands your freedom whereas the choices from the separate mind will limit your freedom.

The President of Mexico

Question: I have very little doubt that the current President of Mexico, López Obrador, might be a fallen being of the non-radical lineage of fallen beings. Yet as pernicious as fallen beings can be, he portrays some traits particular to dysfunctional leaders. He does not welcome facts, disregards and mistreats the free press, uses a lot of propaganda, misinforms, portrays a very dualistic and divisive view of life, blames enemies, and lately, to the surprise of many, has paralyzed the Institute for Transparency and wants to dissolve and remake the electoral institute that put him in power, arguing it is not working well. Some people in Mexico believe that if we stay on this path, our country may be in greater danger than it is now. Will the Masters comment on his presidency and character and anything that may help us see things as they are?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Korean Conference.

Well, if you look to other parts of the world, or even look north across the border, you will see that there is a tendency in later years for these more populist presidents that displays these kind of traits that you are describing. And the reason for this is, as we have described before, that we are in this phase where in order to more quickly move into the golden age, things have to become more extreme, more pronounced, so that it becomes easier for people to see what is happening, what they want or not want.

This president of Mexico is simply following that trend of acting out in more and more anti-democratic ways, thereby demonstrating what kind of leader you do not want in a democracy. But the question is, will enough people respond to this and vote him out of office and demanding a better candidate, or will they remain stuck in whatever caused them to vote him into office in the first place?

Mexico is a very difficult country to work with for the ascended masters, partly because the collective consciousness is quite low, partly because of the intense corruption created not only by the drug trade, but certainly by that also, but also by the entire culture of Mexico, where there is a certain pride that they do not want to listen to anyone outside of Mexico, especially not from gringos, white people. And this prevents them from learning the lessons that could be learned from some of the older democracies, and this means Mexico is at risk of having to repeat some of the mistakes that other countries have made.

Quite frankly, of all of the nations in the Americas, Mexico is one of the most difficult nations for me to work with, and there is very little opening at present for releasing my new age, my golden age ideas for Mexico. There are very few people who can receive such ideas, at least very few people who can implement them, who has any kind of position so they can spread them in society. I do not want to sound negative, as I remain cautiously optimistic, but nevertheless a realistic assessment is that Mexico will have to go through some quite difficult, perhaps even tumultuous periods before it can really start moving into the process of manifesting the golden age.

Our connection to the masters at different stages of the path

Question: There was a time in the past where I clearly felt my heart sparkle and flutter with a clear physical sensation in what I believed was the Presence of Mother Mary and the ascended masters. Today the connection to Mother Mary and the ascended masters is more subtle and appears less physical. At first I was concerned that the expression was not the same as before. Then realized this was an opportunity to release my expectations and continue to tune in to the Masters, know they are present and realize their connection may be expressed in many ways as I too have changed. My question is, is this a natural process of adjusting and growing our connection to ourselves and the ascended masters?

It is indeed very natural that as you grow on the path, your sense of connection and your experiences of the spiritual path will change. As the Messenger describes, when you raise your consciousness, you become more and more neutral, you do not have the ups and downs. As part of this process, it is natural that you do not have as dramatic or as physical of a sensation of connection to the ascended masters.

When your consciousness is lower, you may need some more physical or dramatic sensation in order to even notice the connection. But as you clear out your psychology, you will begin to have a more gentle, more subtle sense of connection of just sensing our Presence. Many people can in the beginning, when they are new to the path, they can feel that they get directions in the form of words, worded statements. But as you grow on the path, your connection, your directions become more subtle. It is more a Presence, more a sense of vibration that gives you a sense of our Presence, our energy and a frame of reference for evaluating situations.

You can as a guideline say that in the beginning, many people are enthusiastic about the path and become very open. This is so much similar to when you fall in love and all of a sudden the world seems different, more colorful, and you are more open to the other person. Likewise, many people who are new to the path can be more open to us, but because their consciousness is lower, they need more of a worded statement that often does not even come to us, but comes from their I AM Presence or Christ Self.

But as you raise your consciousness, you need to realize that part of raising your consciousness and increasing your attunement, increasing your discernment, is that you take more responsibility for making your own decision. This means that in the beginning you might feel that we are giving you specific directions on what to do, but this would naturally fade away as you raise your consciousness because now you need to decide what you want to do, what you are willing to do.

The question is, can you make that switch? Some students cannot and will not take responsibility for themselves. They demand that they should have the same connection they had in the beginning, or even a more clear connection, where they basically want us to tell them what to do in many situations so they cannot make a mistake. In that case we must withdraw from such a student until they take responsibility for making their own decisions and therefore use us only as a frame of reference, not expecting to be told what to do or not to do.

What is luck? 

Question: In a recent dictation during the Easter webinar, Mother Mary said we cannot predict anything on earth with certainty. This is because in situations involving many people there is a karmic wave that provides many possibilities for how their interactions will play out. Thus the future is unknowable until it actually occurs. Can skill lead to consistent success in a field that involves making predictions about unknowable future events, for example, investing? Or is success in these areas primarily the result of luck? More generally, what is a constructive way to think about the concept of luck?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Korean Conference.

Well, let us begin with luck. What people call luck is precisely this outplaying of unpredictable events. And this means that it is impossible to predict with certainty what will be the outcome of an event such as investing. But you can, of course, increase the probability that something will happen. This can happen if you increase your knowledge about the topic of investing, for example. But also by going into a certain state of mind of opening yourself up to a positive outcome.

There are many teachings out there that will say that it is not a matter of luck. You need to project out the result you want. Many people have attempted to manifest things by following various teachings about manifestation. Many people have used, for example, treasure maps or other methods, sometimes bordering on black magic, to increase their luck by forcing events to happen. This, of course, is not what we recommend for ascended master students.

But you can certainly have an influence on positive events in your life by, first of all, working on your psychology and resolving certain issues that cause you to push away things. For example, many spiritual people have a negative attitude to money from past lives. They are subconsciously pushing away money because they believe it is anti-spiritual. If you resolve such selves, then you will no longer be pushing it away, but you are not trying to push it into your life either. But you can go into this state of mind of being open, being neutral, but expecting that something positive will happen. In a sense, this is not about producing an effect, but more about attracting an effect to you. This would be one viable way to increase what many people call luck. Not that we are particularly saying that you should base your life on luck, but you can go into an expectant state of mind that will attract a positive outcome rather than push that outcome away from you.

When you understand what we have given you about the spiritual path, you can go into a state of mind where you are not attached to a specific outcome. You do what you feel is a constructive thing to do in a particular situation, but instead of being fixated on a specific outcome as the people who are trying to manifest are doing, you are opening yourself up for the best possible outcome, for a positive outcome, but you are leaving the specifics unclear. You are open to different possibilities and you go into a state of mind of being grateful for whatever happens, always seeking to make the best of it.

Now, many people who are into manifestation would say that is the wrong approach because you need to be as specific as possible. You need to be very specific in what you ask the universe for, but this is not the highest approach. And the reason is, as I explained, that all situations in the world are very complex and there are certain probability waves for what will be the outcome in a certain situation and it cannot be predicted with certainty. Therefore, if you project: “I want that specific outcome”, then you will often be disappointed because that outcome simply was not realistic based on the karmic conditions in the situation.

What unfortunately happens to many people who attempt to force things into manifestation is that they get disappointed very often and many get discouraged after some time and reason that it was all nonsense, it never worked, it was just New Age mumbo-jumbo or whatever expressions they have. We are seeking to give you a more long-term viable path whereby you can improve your circumstances in life. And if you use the teachings especially about resolving the separate selves, then you can achieve considerable improvement in your life. But it is always wise to have this grateful expectancy rather than specific demands.

Purpose of mantras, decrees and invocations 

Question: In Chapter 12 of Fulfilling Your Highest Spiritual Potential, the decrees are different than I have experienced before. There is OM VAIROCHANA OM after the more prose-like structure in the decree. What are the functions and effects of the OM VAIROCHANA OM? I personally feel that it provides the energy for the structure of the text right before it, where the initial part is the structure and the second part is the energy to charge the structure. At least that is my current sense of things. I am relatively new to this and have benefited greatly from these decrees in the present and what has been published previously.

Answer from Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Korean Conference.

Well, I’ll answer that also because it is correct that it is just like the other invocations where there is a prose-like verse and then there is two verses that rhyme that are from a decree to an ascended master. The decree invokes the flow of energy from the master and in this case these invocations are based on dictations from the Dhyana Buddhas and one of them is Vairochana. You invoke his Presence. We do not have a decree to the Dhyana Buddhas but we have these mantras such as OM VAIROCHANA OM and that is why they are given in between the others. 

It does create that flow of energy from the master that reinforces what was said in the other verses. Together they form a different action than a decree, for example, because a decree is more about invoking energy. By having the invocations where you mix the decrees with the statements then you are not only invoking energy, you are also directing it into the specific conditions and that makes it more efficient for, for example, resolving psychology, which is what this particular invocation is about.

But of course, giving decrees is also efficient and I would say that,, I was in the Summit Lighthouse for many years. We gave hours and hours of decrees and you could definitely feel a very strong flow of energy. But it was also sometimes, even though we would give calls ahead of time, it was kind of a little bit unstructured, not as focused as when you have an invocation that calls for the energy to be directed into specific conditions. But you can of course get more speed with the decrees, more rhythm and therefore you can get a very powerful flow of energy that way as well.

Being joyful on the spiritual path

Question: I am wondering if it is possible to really live joyfully if we walk a spiritual path and keep raising our consciousness. Kim is the only person I know who has a really high level of consciousness. When I think about Kim, it does not seem to me that he is very happy or joyful. I understand that when someone is consistently raising their consciousness and making progress on the spiritual path, they are much more peaceful and free of emptiness, pain and stress than when they are not. If we continue to raise our consciousness and make spiritual progress, can we really be happy and live a joyful life every day?

Answer from Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Korean Conference.

Well, I will answer that because I do not really see it addressed to a master or sense that they will comment on it. But my experience has been very clear. The more you overcome your separate selves and resolve your psychology, the more you go into a neutral state of mind. Neutral is really the only word I can apply to it. And what I mean by that is that you do not have the highs and the lows, the contrast between highs and lows states of consciousness. I do not feel human happiness because it is in contrast to human unhappiness.

It may seem like I am not joyful, I do not know. And it may have something to do with that I do not use humor as much as I used to a few years ago. I do not crack jokes. And it is for several reasons. I mean, it is really mainly because I do not feel I need it anymore. It is also because I realized from traveling that humor is different in different parts of the world. And what is funny in one culture could be offensive in another one. But I also realized that I used to use humor a lot to kind of hide myself and create a sense of distance with people. And it takes the conversation up to a more artificial level. Today I try to be more better at listening to people and trying to listen to what they are actually saying. But it is also because I would not really describe myself as happy or joyful because I am just in a neutral state of mind, which is very peaceful. And what can you say? You cannot really say it is good or it is better. You cannot put adjectives on it. You cannot compare it to anything.

I do not feel unhappy. And I certainly would say I feel joyful, but not in a sort of a laughing all the time ecstatic way. I would say that you can definitely live a joyful life on the spiritual path. It is just not what most people would call happy or joyful because there is not that contrast. I mean, my state of mind is much more even now than it was just even a few years ago, but especially compared to when I was young. I consider that joyful because I do not have the ups and downs, but somebody else might like the ups and downs and then that is fine. Then they probably should not walk the spiritual path.

Astrology and the Cosmic Clock teachings

Question: When I joined the Summit Lighthouse back in the 70s, astrology was considered a no-no. I was pleasantly surprised when I got approval to teach astrology. I was told that it was considered a good idea to connect with people where they were in consciousness. It was not too long before astrology became a big part of the organization, especially mundane astrology, where the charts of countries like the United States, Russia, and Canada were looked at and used to make calls on. Perhaps the greatest gift that came through the Summit Lighthouse were the teachings on the Cosmic Clock. In this new dispensation, we have heard next to nothing about this. There are probably new students who have never even heard about the Cosmic Clock. Why is this so, and do you foresee releasing some new insights on these subjects?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Korean Conference.

What we do is, as we have explained many times, progressive revelation. We do this based on our carefully crafted vision of what it is we want to bring forth and how we observe that students are ready for certain teachings. What we have done in this dispensation is give teachings for a different level than what we gave during the Summit Lighthouse or, for example, the IAM Movement.

What you see is that astrology can be a valuable tool for people at a certain level of consciousness. But when you arise beyond a certain level of consciousness, then the mundane astrology is no longer the best tool for you because you are not so focused on things outside yourself, but more focused on resolving your psychology. And although your astrology can give you some hints about your psychology, it just is not a detailed enough tool and it cannot replace therapy or the teachings we have given on the separate selfs and the birth trauma and other teachings about resolving psychology.

Unfortunately, in every dispensation, whatever we give, there are some people who become attached to a certain teaching, take it too seriously, take it too literally, and they start using that tool, for example, astrology, as a substitute for their intuition or their direct contact with us. We would rather have you connect directly to us than to look to the heavens for astrological configurations. The same applies to some degree to the Cosmic Clock teachings.

They were for people who need and want a very structured method where you can plot everything on this Cosmic Clock and you have very specific directions for what to do. And it can be helpful for people at a certain level. I am certainly not saying that people should stay away from astrology or the Cosmic Clock if they feel intuitively prompted to use these tools. But we are not talking about them in this dispensation because, again, although the Cosmic Clock can give you hints about your psychology, it is not as efficient at resolving psychology as the other teachings we have given now.

It is possible that I will release an updated version with a different tool based on the fact that there are also secret rays which were not incorporated in the Cosmic Clock teachings. But when that happens will depend on when I evaluate that a sufficient number of people are ready for it. I will not give you a timeline for this.

About jokes 

Question: Is something such as an event or joke funny because it is funny to a separate self?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Korean Conference.

If a joke puts down other people, then it comes from a separate self or it is funny to the separate self. But there is, of course, a higher sense of humor that does not put down other people. There is nothing unspiritual about having fun or joking in a good-hearted manner as long as it does not hurt or belittle other people.
