Communication between the higher and lower self

Question: On a previous question I did, it was addressed to me that I could get my own answers instead of asking through here the validity of what I received on my own. On another answer, it was said to me that a system I somehow generated to receive answers is not a good way to receive them, so I dismissed it. Something quite hard and difficult to explain then happened to me that I am not quite sure I can comment on what has left me with what I can equate to signs of trauma. It has damaged my worth and made me evaluate and acknowledge what a person deserves and what a person causes as a return of karma, and it is quite difficult to find balance. In this unbalanced state it has been quite challenging to get some answers, and the system I generated has not stopped, it is almost autonomous and is causing me a lot of stress. I do not know how to stop it.

You have said that if the messenger is an ant, heed it, and it seems there are too many ants in my life. At the background of all this there is something that always concerned me, the channel of communication between the higher self and the lower self. To be honest, at times I have come to be frustrated on how come there is not a better way to relate in conversation among the two so it all would be easier. Isn’t that what has the world being as astray as it is? The reading of what guides the higher self is providing. This might be my individual scenario, and I am caught in a fog, so my main question is what is the best way to enter in communication with my higher self and is not my higher self behind the system you said is not a good way to get answers, so then I should get rid of it for good. On what proportion should the will of the higher self be on the lower self to conduct a successful path all the time? Was the will of the higher self all the time on Jesus, or is it a progressive thing? Please add whatever may help me in these challenging times.

You can start by making use of the book about connecting to your spiritual teachers, which also talks about connecting to your higher self. That gives you some practical tools to work with. You can also use the books on healing your spiritual trauma, because when you talk about the lack of communication between the higher self and the lower self, well, it is because there is interference from the subconscious selves due to past trauma.

What the fallen beings want to achieve for all avatars who have come to earth is precisely this, that your Conscious You is separated from your I AM Presence, distrusts the I AM Presence and therefore, is not open to guidance from the I AM Presence or the ascended masters.

The key word in your question is that you have developed a system. That precisely is the problem. When you have, due to past life trauma, come to distrust or not feel you have a clear connection to your I AM Presence, then you can develop this desire that we see in many spiritual people for some kind of supposedly infallible system. This you see outplayed in many people who use forms of divination, from tarot cards to muscle testing to this or that, where they seek to get these supposedly infallible answers. But you need to recognize here that there is no such thing as getting infallible answers. And the desire for infallible answers comes from the ego as we have explained, even so far at this conference. It always wants something ultimate, something infallible.

But you see, you have to adjust your expectations here. There is no such thing as infallible answers. There is no such thing as your Conscious You going through some kind of process and now you have clear and infallible communication from your I AM Presence telling you what to do and what not to do. As we have explained so many times, there is free will at the level of the I AM Presence and there is free will at the level of the Conscious You. It is not the purpose of the spiritual path that the Conscious You becomes a slave of the I AM Presence, a marionette, a robot. You still have to make decisions. But because of an unresolved trauma from the past, many people are unwilling to make decisions. That is why they want to develop a system that gives them infallible answers. You need to adjust your expectations and realize that your I AM Presence can give you a frame of reference, but you still have to make your decisions at the level of the Conscious You. And that, in order to make the best possible decisions, you have to be willing to resolve psychology.

And unfortunately, we see in many spiritual students, those who go into wanting this system or this form of divination that can give them infallible answers, that they are not the most willing to look at their psychology. Whenever you have trouble connecting to your I AM Presence, there is really only one answer: unresolved psychology.

What is narcissism?

Question: What is the spiritual definition of narcissism and what is the spiritual background and reason a person becomes a narcissist? Is narcissism an exclusive characteristic of fallen beings or are there non-fallen beings who are narcissists as well?

To begin with the last question, there are many that are not fallen beings that are narcissists, that have narcissistic personality traits. And the reason for this is quite simple. Narcissism is really the main characteristic of the ego. We have talked about how at the 48th level you see yourself as a connected being, when you go to the 47th level you lose that sense of connection. Therefore, you create the ego to compensate for the loss that you feel, and the ego is now charged with making you, as a separate being, feel good, whatever definition of “good” you might have.

There are two main ways of seeking to deal with this sense of loss. One is that you can become a passive person who follows the collective consciousness, who does not seek to acquire a strong individuality or a strong position in society. This is what you see in many people on earth, that they are passive, they are, just like we have said before, jellyfish flowing with the ocean currents in the collective consciousness.

The other way of dealing with the sense of loss is that you seek to strengthen your separate self, to elevate the separate self to a higher status, a special status. In other words, you have a sense of loss, one way to deal with it is to deny your potential as a self and therefore, you have the excuse: “Oh I cannot do anything special, I just do what everybody else is doing.” The other is that you seek to become special because you might even think that this will either help you feel better or help you come back into a sense of connectedness or enter the kingdom of heaven or whatever people believe, and you think this can be achieved by elevating the separate self. The ones who become passive are the ones who have fallen under the spell of the fallen beings who want to control people. The ones who become active are the ones who believe in the lie of the fallen beings, which is that they can elevate the separate self to such a superior status that God has to make it immortal and even allow it to enter heaven and as we have said before, that cannot be done.

You see indeed, many people on earth who have gone into this attempt to elevate their separate selves to having a special status in society. And not all of them are fallen beings even though some are, but relatively few in physical embodiment are fallen beings. There are many more narcissists that are original inhabitants and even some avatars who have gone into this. You could say, from a certain perspective, you can say that those who seek to elevate the separate selves, there is a slightly higher potential that they could come to a point where they see the futility of this, they have just had enough of this, they see the vanity of it and therefore, they reach for a more genuine approach which is the spiritual path. Those who are passive can remain passive for many lifetimes, but they can also make some progress if they follow the golden rule and seek to live by the golden rule, they can raise their consciousness and get closer to the 47th level, but they also might be inspired to re-establish that connection.

Either way can work, but for some people, the faster way is to actually elevate the self. You might say that some narcissists are getting closer to making the switch and discovering a genuine path, but there are also some narcissists that are simply digging themselves into a deeper and deeper hole because they believe in the lie of the fallen beings, that the self can be elevated to some ultimate status by fulfilling conditions in this world. You could say the essence of narcissism is you are seeking to raise your separate self to some ultimate status by fulfilling conditions defined in this world.

This is, of course as we have said, an impossible quest, which can never lead you to feel peace of mind, to feel fulfilled. There will always be something more you can achieve for the separate self until you see the futility and the vanity of the entire quest to elevate the separate self.

How to heal past traumas without knowing their origin

Question: If, for the most part, we do not consciously remember our previous embodiments or any of the details related to our previous embodiments, then why do we sometimes carry the effects of trauma that is related to that past embodiment without having the knowledge or the understanding about where and when this trauma originated?

How is it possible to heal from the symptoms of a disorder or a disability related to this trauma if we have no conscious awareness of its origin?

As we have explained in our books about healing traumas, especially Healing Your Spiritual Traumas, what happens is that when you receive a severe trauma, it is overwhelming for you to deal with this consciously. And therefore, you create these subconscious selves to help you deal with the trauma by largely suppressing the trauma. In other words, pushing it into the subconscious mind. And the necessity of this is that when you are exposed to the trauma, it is overwhelming. By pushing it into the subconscious mind, you get a temporary relief from it so that you can gradually raise your consciousness until you are ready to look at and deal with the trauma.

That is the whole idea of the teachings about the birth trauma that you acquired a long time ago, but that many of you are now ready to deal with, which is why we have given you the tools. But in the meantime, if you had been aware of it, it would have been too overwhelming. That is why from embodiment to embodiment, you forget the actual circumstances that led to the trauma. But of course, you are still affected by it because you still have these subconscious selves that react to situations on earth and that color your outlook.

How is it possible to heal from the symptoms of a disorder or disability related to the trauma if you have no conscious awareness? Well, the teachings and tools we have given about healing the birth trauma and resolving the subconscious selves is precisely to give you a way to make it conscious. Now, as we have said before, it does not mean you have to have a conscious awareness of the exact physical circumstances that led to the trauma. What you need to come to see is the decisions you made based on the trauma, the subconscious selves you created, and then you resolve those. And this can in many cases be done without knowing what the actual physical situation was.

Our aim for our work is not to have you have total recall of all of your past lifetimes, but it is to help you resolve the psychology that you are still carrying with you from past lifetimes so that you can be free to either ascend after this lifetime or to re-embody without this burden and therefore, have a greater impact on helping Saint Germain manifest the golden age.

The purpose of the teachings, decrees, and invocations

Question: What is the difference between the following things? One, studying the dictation or book of an ascended master. Two, giving the invocation of an ascended master. Three, not studying anything, not saying anything, just simply trying to experience the vibration or Presence of an ascended master.

When you study a book or a dictation, it has two main purposes. One is to give you a teaching that can help you shift the way you look at life, the way you look at yourself. And the other is to give you a sense of the master’s Presence, which can help you attune to the ascended master. Giving decrees and invocations has the primary function of transforming the energy stored in your emotional, mental, and identity bodies that are pulling on your conscious mind, that are hiding the subconscious selves, reinforcing the subconscious selves. And forming a veil that makes it harder for your conscious mind to see these selves. By transmuting energy, you make it easier for yourself to resolve the psychology.

Not studying, not giving decrees and invocations, just simply trying to experience the vibration of an ascended master. Well, if it works for you, fine. But why have we given the dictations and the invocations? Because it does not work for most people. The dictations, the invocations and decrees are tools to help you come to the point where you have purified your mind of the energies and the unresolved psychology so you can begin to experience the Presence of an ascended master. If you can do it without practicing, well then, that is fine. But if you cannot, then we have given the tools that can help you walk a systematic path towards having that connection and that experience.

A dishonest partner and karma

Question: How to deal with a spouse who is the sole bread earner, and his business methods are not entirely honest, as I see it? I discovered ever since I started following the ascended master’s teachings that he is at a lower level of consciousness and has grown up in a worldview that this is okay in business, and that he will not be able to earn his profit if he does not conduct the business dealings a certain way.

I feel like as his wife I am living off his earnings, even though I do not agree to his way of earning it. Do I make karma for this? I made a difficult decision to stay in the relationship for the sake of our disabled child. What do you advise would be the best way to navigate this situation so that I may fulfill my Divine plan, which I sense includes qualifying for my ascension after this lifetime?

You know that we usually do not answer personal questions and tell people how to live their lives, because this is something that must come to you from within. But in this case I will say that clearly your disabled child is part of your life plan, and so you need to evaluate: If you divorce your husband, could you take care of the child while working a job? Or is this a practical reality to stay in the relationship in order to take care of the child? And does the fact that you are in the relationship and therefore do not have to work give you time and energy left over to work on your spiritual goals? In that case you could say that from a practical perspective this is the best possible solution given the situation, also the society in which you live.

Do you make karma for it? Well, that is a subtle question to answer, because if you determine that it is better for your Divine plan to stay in the relationship, then the karma you make is not a major concern. You also need to evaluate what society you are living in and how business is generally conducted there. And if your husband is not doing anything directly illegal, then again, the karma is so small that it will not prevent you from qualifying for your ascension.

But again, you need to decide on your own, and you have made a decision now. It does not mean it has to be for the rest of your life. You can once in a while evaluate: Where do I need to be in order to reach my spiritual goals.

Inequality in the united (North) Korea

Question: Beloved Saint Germain, during the last conference in Korea, I recall from a part of an invocation a warning about the possibility of South Korean companies dominating the North Korean market after reunification. As you mentioned, commercial competition would be meaningless given the far superior capital and expertise of South Korean firms, but economic independence of North Korea will surely benefit North Korea’s long-term growth, autonomy, and integration between the two Koreas. To prevent South Korean dominance, one option can be suggested, implementing a policy that requires establishing joint ventures between South and North Korean firms, capping the South’s stake at 49%. However, would not this arrangement merely create a new privileged class among North Koreans, those fortunate partners chosen by South Korean firms, and thus foster a new financial elite and create inequality within the North Korean people? Furthermore, would such a policy not limit South Korean companies’ right to freely operate their businesses nationwide?

The teaching that was given, was given on the background that in South Korea, you have these virtual business monopolies, the chaebols, sanctioned by the government. And my intent was that this would not be allowed to take over the North Korean market or labor market after reunification. And this would require a softening up of what is happening in South Korea so that the government gave room for smaller companies to spring up. And if this was done, then it could create a change both in North and South Korea, which of course, they would be united after reunification, so that there would be more room for smaller independent businesses.

We understand that after the war, it was a viable model to create these large business conglomerates and give them the dominance that they have had. But we have also said that it would be better even for South Korea to shift away from this and open up more for independent companies. Why? Because independent companies are generally more innovative, whereas the larger companies that have a privileged position are often more concerned about maintaining that position rather than innovating.

There are various ways that this could be done. But let us say that reunification happened. Well, it is clear that there would be a period of increasing inequality in North Korea, because what you have in North Korea today is that you have this typical top-down structure that you see in most communist nations and certainly in all dictatorships, where you have a privileged elite that are loyal to the party or to the dictator, and therefore, given a privileged position, whether they are qualified for it or not. You have this mindset where a large majority of the population are used to just following orders, doing what they are told, and they are not thinking creatively. They are not thinking about how they could improve anything. If you had North Korea freed from the dictatorship, then there would be some people who would step up and become innovative and organize companies. But they would not come from the majority of the population, nor from the privileged elite that supports the leader. They would come from all layers of society, and they would be the ones who would be able to carry it forward.

And because the others are passive, wanting to take orders, yes, of course, the few who take the initiative would make a lot of money, and therefore, clearly, inequality would increase for a period of time. In fact, for more than a generation, because those who have been so pacified by their upbringing, many of those will not be able to change their mindset in this embodiment. But this is just an inevitable consequence of the fact that North Korea is such a repressive society and has been for so long. You see the same pattern in other nations that were freed from the communist yoke.

High-paying, prestigious jobs for young people

Question: Is it wrong to dream of a high-paying prestigious job for young people? These days, many young students pour tremendous effort into gaining admission to elite universities, and those who emerge victorious in the competition then compete again for limited positions in finance, IT, consulting and other big firms. As the world has become richer and the middle class has expanded, a much larger share of the population has earned university degrees and is qualified for those coveted positions. But the number of available slots remains fixed. At the same time, society cannot function if everyone aspires only to a desk job and tries to avoid manual or service work. One might suggest that lowering one’s expectations would lessen the stress of this cutthroat environment, but is it really right to tell young people to lower their ambition to receive less stress in life? Would you share any wisdom in the structural mismatch in the current job market?

You see some nations that are still developing and you see some nations that have been developing for a longer time and what you typically see is in the developing nations that you have the contrast between your parents’ generation that were poor and now a newer generation that has the opportunity to get an education and therefore, aspire to the kind of jobs that their parents could not aspire to.

And this is natural, and it is not in most cases necessary to discourage young people from striving for this. The equation is, of course, different for spiritual people, but you need to consider whether it actually is in your Divine plan to spend so much time and effort getting these few high-powered jobs.

But what you see in the slightly older nations is that there is now a certain saturation of the market for these high-powered jobs and this means that these nations, in order to fill the lower positions, will have to pay them more and more money. And there is, if you want to express it in a more extreme way, a development that is happening whereby you could see a certain point in the future where the highest paid people in the job market would be garbage collectors because nobody else wants to do that job. In order to get the job done, society has to pay well enough to attract people. I am, of course, slightly exaggerating, but nevertheless, you already see this tendency in some nations where the so-called lower or uneducated positions are actually paid better and better in order to get people to take these.

You also see a tendency that there is growing youth unemployment in some of these nations because there are too many people who have an education. There is also a phase where there is a tendency that people are driven by, young people are driven by, their parents to get the kind of education that their parents could not get. But they are not looking at the practical realities that there are not enough jobs for so many people to fill these few positions. This is something that gradually works its way out over time. But of course, if you are aware of these trends and if you are a spiritual person, you might seek to evaluate: “Is it really in my Divine plan that I go for these high-powered positions?” And it may be because you have the potential to have a positive impact on society, but it may also be that it would be too big of a distraction for your Divine plan and therefore, it would be better to aim for a lower position that can still give you a comfortable income. But again, this is, of course, completely individual and therefore, you need to use our teachings and tools to tune in to your Divine plan.

The Divine plan and making money

Question: To what extent is the amount of money one can earn predetermined and to what extent is it the result of one’s efforts and choices in the lifetime? I have read that God does not interfere with our free will to earn material wealth, yet in practice we cannot amass unlimited riches. Personally, I once made a large sum of money quickly and lost it just as fast, which felt like there was a fixed ceiling on my earnings. Is there a predetermined cap on one’s wealth, regardless of effort and time he spends or was this personal experience simply intended to illustrate that pursuing material gain is ultimately futile?

Well, the answer to the question depends very much on how you look at the question. For the vast majority of people on earth you could say that given the physical situation in which they grew up and given the psychology they carry with them from past lives, yes there is indeed a limit to how much money they can earn but take note that a very large part of this factor is the person’s psychology. If you are willing to overcome the blocks in your psychology that prevent you from earning money, prevent you from feeling worthy to having money, then you can very well change the equation for your lifetime. You see that there are some people who grow up in poor circumstances and still manage to earn large sums of money, so it can be done. Could everybody do it? No, but everybody is not likely to do it and be willing to go through the effort of changing their psychology.

Now, you have to take into consideration here also that you have an individual Divine plan. And if you are a spiritual person, then your Divine plan may not involve you making lots of money. For many of you, it is a matter of making enough money that you do not need to worry about money so that you can focus your attention on other things. There are many spiritual people that do not have it in their life plan to make large sums of money, because there is always a certain temptation, a certain sense of responsibility that comes with having lots of money. For example, if you make money, you do not want to lose it as quickly as you made it. Many people who have money become so concerned about not losing it that it actually causes them stress and eats up their attention. This is a very individual thing. Now of course, it also needs to be added here that for many spiritual people, you can have psychology from past lives that makes you not want to have lots of money because you think money is the root of all evil or it is a temptation that takes you away from the spiritual path.

You look at many spiritual traditions, both in the East and the West, where they always emphasize poverty and renunciation of the world and worldly desires, withdrawing from the world, living a monastic lifestyle and so forth. If you have been a spiritual person for many lifetimes, then you will have been affected by this. And if you are open to ascended master teachings in this lifetime you have been a spiritual person in many lifetimes, at least what I call a person who lived in some kind of spiritual context.

It is important for you as spiritual people to work on these subconscious selves as well. But for some it is not so essential because you do not have it in your life plan to make large sums of money. But there are of course some spiritual people that have the potential and then it is very important to dissolve these selves that actually cause you to subconsciously sabotage your own efforts, and this can also cause you to lose money as quickly as you make it. This is very likely caused by a subconscious self that feels like you are not really worthy, or you should not really have it as a spiritual person.

Being the open door

Question: How do I focus on being the open door for higher energies to flow through? Is it by purifying myself?

Well, that depends on what you mean by purifying yourself. Because if by purifying yourself you mean fasting or going on a diet to purify the physical body, well this is only part of the picture and it is far more important to purify your emotional, mental and identity bodies of the subconscious selves and the accumulated fear-based energies that we always talk about. If you focus on physical purification, no, this is not really the way to open yourself up to a flow of higher energies.

But of course, we have given the entire book, which was given at a previous conference in Korea about how to connect to your spiritual teachers and there are many more teachings and tools you can use in there.

Space-time and interdependent originations

Question: it has been shown that gravity is due to the curvature of space-time. Now research seems to show that other physical properties, such as electric and electromagnetic forces, are due to local oscillations of space-time. Some other research points to the universe being made of information and that gravity, for example, is just the most efficient way to organize that information. When each of us brings our own set of information through our worldview into the world, would that also affect the minute fabric of space-time and create what we perceive as our life circumstances? In other words, would there be one space-time but eight billion individual ways to alter space-time, like eight billion superpositions in the one quantum field? Could physical science and the science of the soul be brought into unity in this way?

Well, there are already a small number of scientists who are thinking and researching along these lines. Several of them have written books or given talks about it. You can find them on YouTube, and you can find their books. I am already working with several scientists to bring forth these new ideas. You have to realize that despite what some of these theories they are coming up with, there are not eight billion parallel universes on earth. There is only one space-time, and you are all connected to it through what the Buddha called the interdependent originations. You are all contributing to it, you are all affecting that whole, naturally, in an individual way, that does not override the whole. But if you look at what we have said about earth, that earth was originally a natural planet and became lowered into its present density of matter, its present strength of gravitational force, through a lowering of the collective consciousness, then you realize that these were individual people who lowered their consciousness and therefore, pulled the collective down.

Likewise, it takes individual people to raise their individual consciousness and therefore, pull the collective up. You are all part of this one reality, call it space-time or something else, and you are all being influenced by it and you are all influencing it through your individual consciousness. When you walk the path of Christhood, you are raising up the collective consciousness, you are raising up space-time, and you are doing this by projecting from your individual consciousness onto the fabric of space-time or into the cosmic mirror, whatever words you want to put on it. Now you could say that quantum physics has shown that there is this whole that is not a physical manifestation yet. And what quantum physics actually has discovered is what we call the emotional, mental and identity levels of the material universe, where things exist in a non-physical form. They have a potential to manifest as a physical form. But in order for that potential to be manifest, there must be a self-aware mind that interacts with this invisible realm of the emotional, mental and identity, which you can also call the quantum field.

This is what pulls something into the physical. This, of course, also applies at the collective level, and that is why humankind collectively is able to alter the physical properties on earth to make matter more dense, to increase the force, the pull of gravity, and many other aspects of physical reality.

Yes, certainly you do by your minds create your individual circumstances, but you also have to realize here that what you can do at the physical level as an individual very much is limited by the collective consciousness or as the Buddha said, the interdependent originations. These are forming a giant flow as a river, and as an individual, you have at least limited options for altering the flow of the river, but you can alter your own position in the river. You also have to realize here that your physical circumstances are not just at the physical level. They are not actually determined primarily at the physical level. They are products of what your mind is projecting through the identity, mental and emotional level.

This means that this is an interdependent whole and your physical circumstances are certainly affected by the three higher levels of your mind, but the experience you are having of your physical circumstances takes place in those three higher levels. That is why we have given so many teachings to emphasize the need to change the contents of the emotional, mental and identity bodies to overcome these subconscious selves because that is really the only way to change your physical situation. But of course, again, there is a limit to how you can change your physical situation because of the interdependent originations of the collective consciousness. But you can learn to flow with the River of Life and therefore, change your position in the river and therefore, improve even your physical circumstances. But you have to start by improving the identity, mental and emotional level.

Kim: I just want to add to this that when Saint Germain is talking about these scientists, I am aware of at least three. One of them is called Donald Hoffman and there is another one called Frederico Faggin, and then there is a Dutch scientist called Bernardo Castro. I am not saying these are the only ones, but these are certainly three that have talked about a lot of ideas that are parallel to ascended master teachings. If you are going to start reading, I would recommend those three first. There could be others I am not aware of, but at least that will give you a good start.

Mindfulness and the resolution of psychology

Question: many meditation practices, such as mindfulness, are helpful in separating the Conscious You from the contents of the mind, but if there is no conscious effort to resolve psychology, would these practices largely go to waste, or would they inevitably lead to the resolution of psychology?

Well, mindfulness can lead a person to see something in his or her psychology if they are willing to look for it, but many times mindfulness is practiced with the attitude, with the view that they do not need to specifically look at psychology, that they just need to reach for this mindful state, this inner silence, this silent witness, this awakening, enlightenment, non-dual experience, whatever you want to call it, and then that in itself will resolve psychology. This is what we have before called the outer path, where you think that practicing meditation or even giving decrees and invocations will automatically resolve psychology. There is no substitute for looking at your psychology with a specific intent to see something that needs to be resolved – of course in the way we explain it, see a subconscious self- and this requires you to be willing to look and use various tools and techniques that make these things visible, that make the subconscious conscious. If you do not do this, then many people have already experienced that after a time they no longer feel that inner peace, they no longer get the results from practicing mindfulness.

Many people in today’s world have practiced mindfulness long enough that they are actually beginning to look for something else, and for many of these, our teachings about the subconscious selves could definitely be a solution that will give them the results they will not get from just practicing mindfulness. Now, this does not mean that if you find ascended master teachings that you have to stop practicing mindfulness. You can certainly combine the two and continue to practice mindfulness but also use our tools to come to see the subconscious selves and therefore, resolve the psychology.

Necessary changes in Vietnam

Question: What areas in Vietnam society do the Vietnamese people need to improve the most in order to move towards the golden age? And what is the best way to go about it? For example, is the excessive deference to figures of authority in the four main religions, i.e., Buddhism, Catholicism, Communism, and family loyalty, a major impediment for society? How important is it to have more authenticity in relationships, more freedom in self-expression, more transparency and less corruption in public affairs? Or should economic development to escape poverty be the main focus, even though it largely benefits the power elite and strengthens the current power structure?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korean Conference.

Well, this is a multifaceted and complex question that I cannot answer in this format. But nevertheless, you could say that all of the things you mentioned here, it is important to work on. And people need to work on all of it as part of the transition process. Now you can take some, not all, of the things we have said about Korea and learn something about Vietnam from some of these early dictations that we have given here in Korea.

Of course, not all of it applies because Vietnam has been under communist rule. It is clear that one of the major challenges for Vietnam is to overcome this very subtle mindset of passivity and submission to authority that has always been projected by communist authorities. In that respect, you can take some of the dictations we have given about Eastern Europe and freeing these countries from communism, from the communist yoke. Even some of the teachings about Russia can apply. Naturally, as Vietnam grows, it is necessary to leave behind this blind belief in authority figures, whether it be from this or that or the next thought system. What really drives the growth of a country is, of course, that a few people become the forerunners and that they walk the path to Christhood and dare to express their Christhood. This would be the primary thing to consider. Naturally other factors such as more genuine relationships, more freedom, more daring to express your Christhood are also important.

Naturally overcoming corruption is important because in all communist societies there has been traditionally systemic corruption. You can say, of course, that economic development is very important because as long as people are trapped in poverty, they will not have the options to think that their lives could improve. In any country that is rising from poverty towards more affluence, you can say that this will benefit the power elite. That is just an inevitable consequence. But still, as people become more affluent, they have more spare time, they have more freedom to educate themselves, and therefore, this will in the long run work against the grip that a power elite has on that society. What is important for any one person is that you do not become overwhelmed by the many changes that need to happen in your society. But as we have said, you focus on one, maybe two areas of society, and you focus your calls and decrees, you focus your work on yourself, you focus your educational activities where you educate yourself and become an expert on that area so that you can focus and avoid being overwhelmed and confused and pulled in too many different directions.

There is sometimes a tendency that ascended master students want to do too much, and you need to avoid this and focus on something so you can feel a sense of achievement and fulfillment without being overwhelmed and feeling like nothing is happening. Of course, it is also important to once in a while step back and look at your expectations and see whether they were realistic or not. This applies to any country, of course. We have seen many ascended master students over the years who became very eager to give the decrees and invocations because they had a certain ego-colored motivation and expectation of how quickly they should achieve certain physical results from their efforts. And then when the results did not manifest, they became discouraged, they became confused, and eventually they might even stop giving the decrees and invocations, or they might even feel that they were given false promises by us, but in reality, you were given false promises by your egos and the subconscious selves.

Once in a while you need to step back, realize that everything here on earth must work within the confines of free will, and that you can give the calls and invocations and it gives people an opportunity to make better choices, but there is no guarantee that they will take that opportunity and make those better choices. Therefore, you have to take the long view and realize that when you start giving decrees and invocations, you start clearing the identity realm, then you clear the mental, then you clear the emotional, and only after that has been cleared can there start being changes in the physical. Many times, ascended master students expect that by giving a few calls they should see an immediate physical change, but that is not a realistic expectation, as we have actually attempted to explain many times.

The inner voice vs. outer voices

Question: We should focus on changing ourselves and not the outer world. Does this mean that we should ignore situations of social injustice we see in the world and not be involved at all? Or we could engage as the inner voice tells us to do but not be attached to the outcome. And then how do we discern between the inner voice and the voice of the ego or the subconscious selves or the inner spirits?

Well, you are correct, of course, that you should follow the inner voice. It depends on your individual life plan. For some people, it will be in your life plan to engage in various causes in the world. For others, it will not. And again, there are various levels of engagement. Perhaps you need to do something physically. Perhaps you need to make the calls and decrees and invocations or perhaps you need to educate yourself to become an expert in the topic.

This you can only know by intuitively tuning into your life plan. And this, of course, is a matter of increasing your intuition by resolving the psychology, the subconscious selves that are seeking to force you into going into a blind alley or engaging in a cause that is a distraction from your individual path.

How do you discern between the inner voice and the outer voices? Well, the voice of the Christ mind, the voice of the ascended masters, respects your free will, does not seek to push you. Whereas the outer voices, even the external spirits, which are technically outer voices compared to the Conscious You and certainly, external voices coming from lower forces. They have this obsessive-compulsive vibration, a vibration of force. They are seeking to force you, to manipulate you, to persuade you, to make you feel guilty. All of these feelings that are projected at you, this is all coming from lower spirits, from lower sources, even from other people who might be open to such lower spirits.

You can learn to read the vibration. It may take a little bit of time, but it is not beyond what most of you are capable of doing. As we have said even today, the fact that you can recognize ascended masters shows that you have some ability to recognize vibration, to read vibration, and you just need to sharpen it when it comes to reading the vibration of these voices. There is, on an environment like earth, multiple voices projected at you constantly, and some you just ignore. But of course, in order to ignore them, you need to be able to read their vibration and see that this is not a higher source. It is just a matter of practicing. And of course you can, in the beginning, simply ask yourself, “Is it forcing me? Is there an element of force here? Or is it respecting my free will?” You can also use the technique we have given before, tuning into your heart and reading. Does it raise the vibration in your heart? Does it lower the vibration in your heart? This can also give you a measure.

The sense of unworthiness and the sense of oneness

Question: I often receive guidance, impulses, ideas from above in relation to seeing my subconscious selves or insight about a truth, but I would like to experience being in oneness with one of my teachers. I intuit that I need to relax, release effort, be neutral and silent. Yet it is not natural nor easy for me, as I have many selves that say I do not deserve. I have to try hard for oneness. Please comment on this and help me see what I do not see yet.

Well, again, you take the teachings we have given even today and will be giving during this conference, and this will certainly help you in many ways come to that point where you are not exerting an effort to achieve oneness because the key to oneness is, of course, surrender.

But of course, you cannot surrender as long as you have these subconscious selves that are pulling you into thinking that you have to commit more of an effort or that you are not worthy. In order to overcome this worthiness issue, which many of course have because it has been projected upon you by the fallen beings for a very long time, first of all it is necessary to consider what subconscious selves you have that are projecting this unworthiness. You can also realize that the fallen beings from outside your energy field are constantly projecting this unworthiness at everyone on earth. Even the collective consciousness is pulling you, but the way to resolve this ultimately is to contemplate unconditional love. You see, the whole issue of worthiness is that there is this projection that unconditional love is so special that in order to receive unconditional love you have to live up to certain conditions on earth. But as we have explained before, unconditional love is not something produced on earth. It is not the same as human love. It comes from the ascended realm and in the ascended realm we have none of the conditions you find on earth. We are giving our love to everyone as the sun is radiating its rays on everyone.

Have you ever considered that you are unworthy to have the sun shine upon you? Well, then why are you considering that you are unworthy to receive unconditional love? Unconditional love is unconditional precisely because it does not have any conditions. What conditions could you possibly have to fulfill in order to be worthy to receive the love that has no conditions? You see, it is not logical, it does not make sense, it is not the Christ logic, the logic of the Christ mind. This is the serpentine logic that wants you to reject unconditional love because the only thing that can prevent you from receiving unconditional love is the conditions in your own mind that causes you to close your mind to it so you cannot experience it. There is nothing you have to do to receive unconditional love. You have to stop doing so that you can be neutral, be open and just receive what is raining upon the just and the unjust.

Psychological genes

Question: Are there psychological genes we pass on to our children, such as our personality, world view or the way we look at life?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korean Conference.

Yes, there are of course not genes in the sense that this is commonly understood by science, but you can go deeper and say what are the genes, even the physical genes? They are carriers of information. You can say that you have a parallel to the physical genes in your emotional, mental and identity bodies, but these are, in many cases, the subconscious selves that you have created lifetimes ago, that you have carried for lifetimes, and that, therefore, will have a certain influence on your children.

But of course, your children also have their own subconscious selves that they have created in past lifetimes, and in many cases,

yours will not be able to override theirs. That is why you can often see that there are some similarities where the children have some of the personality traits of the parents, but not all of them, because in many cases the children also have strong subconscious selves or personality traits that they have created in past lifetimes.

The 12-year cycle and totalitarian regimes

Question: Do the ascended masters foresee that at the end of this 12-year cycle there is a strong probability that certain authoritarian regimes such as Russia, China, Iran, would move towards a more democratic form of government? I am particularly interested in the prospects of Vietnam.

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korean Conference.

Well, we do actually foresee that this happens before the end of the 12-year cycle. There is a strong possibility that many totalitarian regimes will fall before the end of the 12-year cycle and that there will be changes, at least a movement towards democracy. The same can, of course, happen in Vietnam, but in every country the deciding factor will be the collective consciousness, the raising of the collective consciousness. And as we have said even today, even a small number of ascended master students can make a big difference in a country, although, of course, the bigger the country, the more resistance there will be in the collective consciousness to a change. In general, you can say the smaller the country, the smaller the number of ascended master students that can affect a change.

Why am I unable to connect with my higher self?

Question: After several years of serious practice, I understand that the most important thing is to have a connection with my higher self and the ascended masters. But I feel I have not been able to achieve it. Could the masters provide me with some guidance? I do feel fatigued and discouraged.

Well, you will see that the guidance we have already given at this conference can help you overcome this sense of being at a deficit. You take the teachings we have given today and apply them and you can see how you can switch your perspective and not be so stressed out about whether you receive specific results that you expect.

You need to once in a while on the spiritual path step back, look at the expectations you have. In other words, you need to ask yourself the question: “Is the reason why I have not received or attained the results that I expect, that my expectations are not realistic?” In other words, it is not the results or lack of results that is the problem. It is that you have an unrealistic expectation of what the spiritual path should produce.

Then, of course, there is always the resolution of psychology, which in many cases can be the reason why you have not achieved results. But, again, resolution of psychology also involves looking at your expectations because, as we have explained today, when you start the spiritual path, you will have some ego-based expectations or some ego-based view of what the spiritual path is all about.

In that respect, I must say that several years of practice is not that long of a time and therefore, it will take, generally speaking, longer to start being more free of the ego’s expectations. And therefore, it does not mean it needs to take longer to achieve results, but you need to come to a point where you realize that some of the ego’s expectations were simply not realistic to begin with. It is not that you are not achieving results, you are just not achieving the results that your ego projected at you that you should receive.

Insights from the I AM Presence

Question: I have been studying and practicing assiduously the ascended master teachings for four years. I feel that I have changed my perspective in life and have occasionally received some insights. For example, when I have a question about the teaching or practice, I will receive an insight within the next day or so. Will there be a stage where the connection with the I AM Presence will be so strong that it happens almost at any moment? At what level of consciousness would this be?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korean Conference.

This is somewhat individual, but generally speaking, when you go above the 96th level of consciousness, you will have a clearer connection to your I AM Presence and the ascended masters, and therefore, you will receive an answer more quickly. However, even when you are above the 96th level, there can be certain questions you have that will take longer, especially if they revolve around you seeing something in your psychology. Then depending on how ready you are to see this and how much you need to change your perspective to see it, it can still take longer even when you are above the 96th level.

Of course, it can also happen when you are below the 96th level that you do receive an answer instantly. It varies. But generally, the higher you go on the levels of consciousness, the shorter it will take to get an answer to any questions you have.

How to spiritually prepare for the transition

Question: We have prayers and invocations that we can use when people make their transition. What can a person who is making their transition do during this time for themselves?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korean Conference.

Well, it depends on the person’s mental and physical state, what they are capable of doing. Depending on how ill they are, how much they are affected by medication. If they are open to using decrees and invocations- they can, of course, use the decrees and give invocations, especially to resolve their psychology. Then if they have the means to pay for professional counseling, they can use whatever means available to resolve as much psychology as possible before they pass on. If they do not have the means to pay for this, then they can use the ascended master teachings if they are open to it, and it would, in that case, be very helpful if there are people who can work with them and help them use the tools, come to see something in their psychology, also sit next to them with a notebook and write down what comes up or ask questions to help the person making the transition to resolve as much psychology as possible.

The more psychology you resolve, the better you will be able to move on after the body dies and you can, therefore, move higher the more psychology you have released, and that increases your opportunities for the coming embodiment.

How can Russia climb out of the imperial mindset?

Question: There is not a single social group in Russia that clearly sees the imperial Russian matrix as the cause of all the suffering of Russians and their neighbors conquered by it. Russia cannot be a democracy as long as it remains an empire. But even the Russian opposition: Kara-Murza, M. Khodorkovsky, Navalny supporters, having fled from Putin to the West, prefers not to discuss this topic. Britain and France have freed themselves from their imperial heritage and have achieved democratic progress. To what extent would the rejection of the Russian imperial heritage by the Russian opposition and spiritual disciples accelerate the movement toward democracy and the approach of the golden age in Russia and the world?

Well, it is clear that what you have in Russia is a very difficult situation for those who are in opposition. Because of the immense suppression of dissenting views by Putin and his henchmen, there is a limit to what the opposition can do.

Now, it is clear that in an ideal situation, those who would see the imperial mindset, see the problem with it, and would free themselves from it, would of course be the best suited to lead Russia in the post-Putin era. But you have to be realistic and say that given the situation as it is in Russia today, whoever can take over when Putin falls must be somebody who is not too far ahead of the collective consciousness. Otherwise there will not be the backing of a sufficient number of people. In other words, Russia is today so deep into the downward spiral that it cannot be catapulted out of it in one big dramatic turnaround. There must be a gradual climb before Russia can reach the level that the Western democracies were at even decades ago. I am not looking for an ideal candidate or an ideal solution. I am looking for a practical, realistic solution. But of course, that is not thereby saying that any of the candidates you mentioned will be the one to take over in a post-Putin era.

There are certainly other candidates that have the potential to come up, and so it all remains to be seen how this plays out. But first of course, you have to remove a major obstacle to any progress, which is not just Putin himself, but also the entire power elite that is keeping him in power.

How to deal with gambling in the family

Question: Say there is a gambling addict among one’s relatives. He is a scourge to the extended family as well as his own family, having stolen from his wife and his adult children to feed his addiction. Could the masters discuss the different courses of action that one could take? One, towards him when he again approaches for money. Two, towards this destitute and long-suffering wife. Three, towards his children who have distanced themselves from the family after giving him money and finding he has not changed. Four, towards his relatives who although reluctant feel compelled to succumb to his frequent begging. More generally, how could an Asian community living in a Western country eradicate this collective beast of gambling and that other beast of feeling compelled to feed destructive behaviors in the name of compassion?

Well, if you are an ascended master student, you can use the tools we have given. First of all, you need to recognize that any addict is literally possessed by dark forces in the emotional realm primarily, but also in the mental realm, even to some degree in the identity realm. You can make the calls to the archangels, to Astraea, to Shiva, for the binding and consuming of these forces. Now as we have said before, this does not of course change people’s free will, but it gives them the ability to make choices. You can also make the same calls that those who cannot say no, who will not say no, are set free from the dark forces that are also overpowering them and giving them this unbalanced, unwillingness to say no. And then of course you can seek to work with people to help them see that there is a difference between enabling somebody to continue self-destructing behavior and actual compassion. You are not actually showing compassion towards a person by enabling them to continue their destructive behavior because they are trapped in a self-destructive downward spiral that can only get worse and worse.

You actually show a greater compassion by not enabling them to continue because if you actually look at addictions of any kind, you will see that some addicts have to come to a point where they have gone so far into their self-destructive spiral that they cannot go any further. Some refer to this as hitting rock bottom. And that is the only point where people will turn around—some people. By enabling the person to continue the habit, you are only postponing this turning point. And this is not actually compassion towards the person from a greater perspective. It is born out of their own misunderstanding of what compassion is and their own unwillingness to make a clear decision and say no. Will this work? Well, that cannot be determined until you try. Naturally there is always free will and as there is the free will of the addict, there is the free will of those supporting the addictive behavior. But you need to make the effort and then give people the opportunity. When you have made the effort, you can then make the choice: “I have done enough, I will withdraw from the situation.”

Using Nicholas Roerich’ authority to justify the war in Ukraine

Question: When did the Ascended Master Igor realize and free himself from the Russian imperial matrix as a separate “I” in himself? What would the masters advise those in Russia who refer to the authority of Nicholas Roerich and justify in his name the war of conquest in Ukraine?

Answer from the Ascended Master Nicholas Roerich through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Ukraine Webinar.

I would say that these are out of touch with who I am as an ascended master. They are out of touch with any ascended master. To say that an ascended master would justify any war of aggression is a complete misunderstanding of what the ascended masters are—the level of consciousness we have raised ourselves to in order to ascend. When did I, as Nicholas Roerich, overcome this sense? In a sense, I never really had the imperial Russian mindset. It was not my dream to be the leader of Russia, even though I had a certain unrealistic dream of being the leader of a country. But nevertheless, the point here is, when you ascend, you let go of, you rise above all of these human concerns on earth. You may say, if you want to be very direct, there are no Russians in the ascended realm. Neither are there any Americans, or English people, or Danes, certainly not any Vikings. The reality is that you transcend all national identity in order to ascend. You transcend all imperialist mindset. You transcend all human opinions, beliefs and attachments. If you do not fathom this, you do not fathom the basic reality of ascended masters.

Therefore, you are not in touch with ascended masters. Therefore, claiming that the authority of an ascended master justifies Putin’s war in Ukraine is complete fiction, complete fantasy, completely unrealistic and out of touch with the ascended masters.

Working for the Russian military industry

Question: Dear Kim, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your ministry. I am one of the Russian disciples of the ascended masters, and I have long wanted to ask my question to the ascended masters, but it was very difficult for me to decide to voice it. But by the last day of the webinar I did make up my mind, and if I have sent it not quite late, here is my question. I work for a Russian military industrial complex company, and I am involved in the development of communications equipment used by the Russian military. I reacted very strongly to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and my indirect involvement in that aggression. Nevertheless, I could not make a decisive choice to quit this job. I had a lot of anxiety about my decision to stay, but at the same time I felt that I was needed there to do some spiritual work that would help bring about a shift in the consciousness of the people around me, my co-workers. However, I am plagued by the question as to whether I create karma by making this decision, or whether it was in accordance with my Divine plan.

Could the ascended masters please comment on this?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Ukraine Webinar.

Well, as we have explained before in connection with Ukraine, you can say being a soldier, being involved in the production of weapons, is from an overall viewpoint a karma-making situation. On the other hand, when you look at it individually, if you are a soldier who is called by your country to go to war, then you make less karma than if you take personal actions to kill somebody for personal reasons, we might say. This goes for both Russian and Ukrainian soldiers, but it is clear that since Russia is the aggressor and Ukraine is defending itself, there is more karma on the part of the Russian soldiers. The same with production of materials.

There is, in principle, more karma by being involved with this as a Russian than a Ukrainian. However, there is, as you point out yourself, the possibility that being in a situation like this can be part of your Divine plan because you are holding the spiritual balance. Therefore, you need to simply be at peace with being where you are at, make the best of the situation, transcend your consciousness as much as you can, and raise the collective consciousness. What specific action you take in terms of talking to your co-workers depends on what risk you are exposing yourself to. As always, we do not recommend that you expose yourself to the risk of being imprisoned or executed, so you need to be very careful and discerning when speaking out, if at all speaking out. There are people who can be in a situation, and it is just part of your Divine plan to be there and raise the collective consciousness.

My recommendation is also for other people who are in this situation. What you do is you look at, if you cannot make a clear decision, there can be two reasons. The one reason is that there is something you have not been willing to see, willing to look at. There is something you are attached to in your current situation, you do not feel like you can take the consequence and leave the country, for example. You need to look at this, because if you are staying in a situation because you are attached and afraid to leave, then this will make karma.

If you look at your psychology, then you will also come to a point where you will have greater clarity, and you might then have the clarity that you are indeed meant to stay because you can hold a spiritual balance in a situation. You see that by looking at your psychology, you can only win, because you will either have peace of mind for leaving the situation, or you will have peace of mind for staying in the situation. But you see, I cannot tell you from without something that will give you peace of mind, because peace of mind must come from within. It can only come by you being willing to look at your psychology and see: “Do I have any attachments? Am I afraid to make a decision? Am I afraid to leave a certain situation?” If you ask yourself these questions, you may come to a point where you realize, no, it is actually your role to stay where you are, and then you have peace of mind. Now, you may also come to the point where you realize it is part of your Divine plan to leave the situation, but then you will leave with peace of mind.

How the Masters can assist with our physical challenges

Question: During the webinar, the masters said a few times that it cannot interfere at the physical level, especially when it involves someone else’s free will. But what happens when we ask the masters for help with our own physical situation, which is something that aligns with our personal free will?

Practical example: If I ask the masters for support in finding a new job, including new opportunities, helpful encounters or interesting job ads, do they only assist me on the three higher levels, i.e. binding dark forces, shadowing illusions, helping me work through my psychology, inspiring new ideas, etc., but not on the physical one? Is everything that happens on the physical level solely the result of the state of consciousness and actions of embodied lifestreams?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Ukraine Webinar.

The answer is yes. Everything that happens in the physical is the result of actions of embodied lifestreams. That is the whole difference between the physical, emotional, mental, and identity levels. Now of course people’s actions are very much colored by their vision, their emotional, mental, and identity state, and that is why we can affect people. But you have to realize, as we have actually explained many times over, that we cannot step into the physical. If you are saying, do we help you at the physical level, how would we do this?

You are then back in the hoping for a miracle or praying for a miracle that religious people have been doing for so many thousands of years. If you look at our teachings in a broader perspective, what we have told you over and over again—what we have attempted to bring you to, is the realization that instead of passively praying for or waiting for a miracle from us, you are co-creators, and you need to step into seeing yourself as co-creators, so that you can pray to us for a vision whereby you might actually see that job ad, but you are willing to do your part such as looking for a job, going to an interview, presenting yourself in the best possible way. This is what it means to be a co-creator. You are in a symbiotic relationship with us, so you are co-creating with us, but you are the one in physical embodiment, you are the one who has to be willing to take physical actions, otherwise nothing will happen. Because it would actually, if we precipitated miracles for our students, it would keep you trapped in that magical thinking of waiting for a miracle, and that is not co-creation. You are not co-creating by waiting for a miracle.

Saint Germain’s vision for France

Question: Saint Germain, you stated that you have a vision for each country. What is your vision for France and what are your suggestions for ascended master students in France?

Well, my vision for France is that France remains a democracy, that it is not taken over by right wing forces, and that it remains as part of the EU and plays a constructive part in raising Europe to become a fully global superpower. It is clear that the potential that we see, that I see for Europe in these coming years, is that Europe becomes more united and becomes stronger both economically and unfortunately also militarily.

This is because the United States is in the process of declining as a superpower due to the policies of Donald Trump. It is also because Russia is in the process of declining as a superpower and has already fallen way below superpower status because of the war in Ukraine. China is also facing some severe challenges on the economic front that will take its power down. There is a unique opportunity for Europe to become more united, to become stronger economically, and my vision is that France sees itself as a part of this growth and makes a positive contribution to it.

What ascended master students can do is hold the vision for this, make the appropriate calls, and continue to raise your consciousness so that you can hold a spiritual balance for France to make the transition and leave behind the reluctance, the resistance towards EU towards uniting with other countries.

There is of course an old consciousness in France that goes quite far back of the desire for superiority that you also see in other European nations and France has not fully overcome this. There is still that lingering desire in the French collective consciousness to be special in Europe, to have special powers or to in other ways feel superior. It is definitely my vision that France overcomes this, the remnants of it, just as other European countries overcome it, because it is only by overcoming this and being willing to cooperate among equals that Europe can fulfill its highest potential.

You may say that my vision is for a united Europe as it has been for several centuries now and that I therefore see that the highest potential for Europe is that the nation-state mentality begins to be replaced by a focus on the whole and a more regional European consciousness.

Transfer to a natural planet

Question: Is it possible to go from earth to any natural planet before ascending?

Yes, that is certainly possible. It is not necessarily something that most people will do but there are people who can do this if it is determined that they have learned enough lessons from earth, but they are not quite ready to ascend and therefore, they need some time on a natural planet.

This, however, will primarily apply to the original inhabitants of the earth and not so much to avatars who have already experienced natural planets and therefore, for most of you who are avatars it is in your Divine plan to qualify for your ascension on earth or in rare cases another unnatural planet. But once you have incarnated on earth as an avatar it is the normal process that you qualify for your ascension on earth.

People’s response to the release of Christ light

Question: How well is humankind assimilating the increase in Christ light in this 12-year cycle started by the archangels at the beginning of the year?

Well, there is no clear answer to such a question because it is very individual. What we can say is that, certainly, the vast majority of people are not assimilating the light but are still resisting it. But it is of course only a short time that the light has been released, and we are of course adjusting the release of the light to how well people are dealing with it both in terms of assimilating it or resisting it. We are not seeking to create chaos and great upheaval, we are seeking to create the maximum progress that produces breakthroughs that although they may seem abrupt, they are not so devastating that they actually slow down the overall progress.

How to awaken Republicans to their responsibilities

Question: Since President Trump’s inauguration, it seems to me that his directives have followed the Mussolini playbook for takeover. Are Republicans in Congress so naive that they cannot see the parallels? Is there a message that could help them wake up to their responsibilities? If so, how would that message best be delivered?

Well, in terms of the question, are Republicans in Congress so naive that they cannot see the parallels? The answer is yes, they cannot see the parallels. Not because they cannot, but because they will not. But why will they not? Because of what Archangel Uriel talked about. There is a veil over their minds. Now, they have been given an opportunity to see this, and we simply have to say, how will, free will play itself out?

As we have said before, by electing Trump, the voters put America in the School of Hard Knocks. How hard do the knocks have to become before people begin to wake up? Is there a particular message that could help them wake up? No. There is nothing I or any ascended master or any human being could say. You understand why this is so? Because in the School of Hard Knocks, people cannot learn from any message. They are not open to it. They will only change when they experience physical consequences. And the people who voted for Trump will only change when they experience physical consequences that affect them personally of his policies. You watched the Messenger’s YouTube video on Trump Angst, which was very much inspired by me, and you will see why. The simple fact here is, there is no message that I could give. There is no message that you could formulate or that you could distribute in any way. This is the nature of an unnatural planet, that sometimes things must be allowed to play out in the physical until people finally become willing to look at what they have not been willing to look at.

As I just said, are there simple solutions to our problems? Is there a strong man who has these simple solutions and can implement them? And people must wake up and realize that the answer to both questions is no. And you can say, if you look at Trump’s presidency up until this point, that he has pretty much done everything that possibly could be done to help people see the fallacy of his approach to politics. And, of course, this will continue. He will continue to be more and more extreme, more and more unbalanced. It is correct that there are those behind Trump who are seeking, according to the Project 2025 Plan, to transform American democracy into a more autocratic system based on their vision, partly a Christian nationalist vision. That is correct. And the American people need to come to see this and see that this will not solve their problems.

But as I said in another answer here, there has been an imbalance in most democracies where they have swung too far towards the liberal tolerance side. This is what gave Trump the support among the people. America does need to swing back towards some kind of balance. And this means that even the Democratic Party and those on that side of the political spectrum need to become more balanced than they have been so far if they are to regain influence.

The impeachment of the Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol

Question: On December 3rd, 2024, a state of martial law was declared in South Korea by President Yoon Suk Yeol. However, due to strong resistance from citizens and the passive stance of the military and police, the National Assembly promptly passed a revolution to revoke the martial law. Subsequently, on December 14th, the assembly passed a motion to impeach the president. After nearly four months of deliberation by the Constitutional Court, on April 4th, 2025, the impeachment was unanimously upheld, resulting in the official removal of the president from office. Throughout this entire process, many Korean students earnestly participated in calling for overcoming this. While South Korea’s democracy still has a long way to go, what spiritual lessons can the Korean people take from this experience? And what are the inner and outer challenges that the nation must overcome going forward?

Well, I certainly applaud the Korean people for going through this process. And I applaud our students in Korea for making the many calls that had a major impact on facilitating the process. The important thing here is that democracy functioned, and democracy stayed calm and focused on using the tools of government to handle the situation, instead of the military or others taking drastic actions.

What can the Korean society learn from this? Well, the main lesson really is to sharpen people’s discernment so that they become better at evaluating political candidates before they are elected. If you look back at this president’s speeches before the last election and his life, you can see certain tendencies for him to be unbalanced. And what he did by declaring martial law was clearly unbalanced. I understand very well that martial law is a concept that many people in Korea look at as not a positive thing whatsoever because of the past, where Korea was under martial law for so long. But nevertheless, my point, my greater point, here is that it is a matter of people getting better at evaluating political candidates, so that they do not vote for people who have these clear imbalances in their psychology, in their approach to politics, in their worldview.

And another lesson is, of course, the lesson that you are seeing in all democracies around the world. It is the belief in whether there are simple solutions to our problems, and whether there is one person who is in this black and white thinking who can solve the problems. And it is very important that people worldwide learn this lesson, that black and white thinking cannot solve our problems, and there is no strong man who can solve our problems, because the whole purpose of a democracy is actually the raising of the collective consciousness. We will have more to say about this during our Korean conference, I am sure, so this will be what I will give you for now.

The AM teachings and copyrights

Question: The Masters say that we can freely use and share the ideas from the teachings. What does this mean in the context of copyrights? What can we use and share from the teachings? And what are the limitations? What exactly are we allowed and not allowed to do?

Answer from Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Ukraine Webinar.

Well, first of all, you need to recognize that according to copyright law, you cannot copyright an idea. An idea is not copyrighted. What can be copyrighted is a specific worded description of an idea. A poem, for example, that talks about love. You cannot copyright love, but you can copyright the poem that talks about love. This is one thing.

But the other thing is that, you know, the majority of the teachings are available for free on the websites. And they are copyrighted. But the reason why it says copyright is because I do not necessarily and the masters do not necessarily want people to just copy the teachings as they are on the website and start publishing them in books, for example. But if you are not taking the actual words, you can pretty much do whatever you want. And, I would even say as such that if you are not making money on something, you can do whatever you want with the teachings.

And with that, I mean, let’s say you go on the Ascended Master Light website, and you took every dictation by Saint Germain, and you put them in a book, and you publish that book. In that case, I would expect you to sign a publishing agreement with me and pay me some small royalty, like people do with the other books. But if you just want to publish excerpts here and there, you are free to do whatever you want.

If, let’s say, you, for example, want to take some of the ideas about psychology and use them because you are a coach or a counselor or whatever, you are free to do that. You do not even have to say where the ideas come from. It is not like I need to get credit for it. I am just saying, you are free to use the ideas. If you use the exact worded teachings in a way to make money that is commercialized, let’s say it is a publisher, then I expect you to make some kind of agreement with me.

I guess what I am trying to say is that if a professional publishing house wanted to publish some of the teachings, I would expect them to sign an agreement with me and pay me a normal author’s royalty. But, if you, as a private person, are using the teachings, publishing them on websites or videos or whatever, there are really no limitations to what you are allowed to do. And you can, if you feel it is appropriate, you can say where it comes from, but you do not have to. I know people who are working in counseling or coaching, and they have taken some of the ideas, incorporated them and written about them in books, and that is perfectly fine, because for that field, it is not appropriate to say these come from ascended masters. The masters are not trying to get credit for the ideas, they are trying to get the ideas out. That is the main thing. And I am not needing to get credit either, unless, as I said, it is some commercial venture where you take the exact words. I hope this answers the question.
