Question: This is a question about car accidents of sudden acceleration, a jackrabbit start. As most cars, even electric cars, are equipped with electronic control units, people who are caught in sudden acceleration accidents are occasionally seen on the news. These accidents are often impossible to reproduce, and the current legal system which requires consumers to identify the cause of sudden acceleration in order to receive compensation is causing many problems. I wonder if these accidents are caused by simple design defects or if they are caused by attacks from dark forces that cause abnormalities in electronic equipment like poltergeist phenomena.

You need to look primarily for mechanical malfunctions in the cars to explain such events. However, there can be rare instances where the driver is actually causing this without being consciously aware of it. This can also be a factor, and in some cases the driver can be influenced by dark forces to cause this phenomenon.
But there is of course, no easy solution when you have a problem that cannot be reproduced. If society was to recognize this, then it would very easily open up for people who, due to inattentive driving, cause an accident to say: “Oh, I do not know what happened. My car just accelerated and caused the accident.” You see the difficulty that society has in dealing with such a phenomenon.
