How to heal my body after a damaging childhood

Question: What steps do I need to take as a spiritual student to reverse the cells in my physical body that have been damaged during birth due to causes such as genetic diseases, damage to the liver due to pregnancy, poisoning, strong stress from the mother, etc.? Also, what are the ways to overcome the brain’s inactivated functions due to lack of emotional support in early childhood after birth, the over-education that I received before my emotions were developed and the resulting decrease in cognitive and concentration functions? I have felt that I have had problems with my learning functions since childhood and I find it disturbing to continue to carry this low function with me. Please suggest a way for me to overcome it.

Well, as I have said, we have given quite extensive teachings on how you can heal your physical body and also heal your emotional, mental and identity bodies at the conference in Estonia. Take those teachings, study them and see where that takes you. Naturally, you can also realize that when you had a stressful time in the womb, a stressful childhood, you have created these subconscious selves to deal with this situation and you of course, probably carry some with you from past lives. You can use the tools and teachings for how to overcome those and when you have applied these teachings, you will have attained some healing and therefore, you can be able to tune in intuitively to your higher self and to us and see what further steps you can take.

There is not a magic wand that I can give you that will instantly remove these problems. It is a long process, but if you are willing to apply yourself, then you can make significant progress in this embodiment.

Basic psychological education for young children

Question: There are many instances in which children are not able to protect themselves during their upbringing, especially psychologically. If children grow up with parents who are always fighting, moody, destructive or irresponsible, they are likely to be psychologically unable to defend themselves. We need to have a national protection system for this or at least provide psychological education at the early childhood level to help them learn how to defend themselves. What can we do to ensure that basic psychological education and psychotherapy for young children is within reach?

Well, that depends on your background and your position in society. If you have some expertise in education and experience with the field of bringing up children, educating children or the field of psychology, you can use that to advocate for this in society. Otherwise, you can use the ascended master tools, the invocations and decrees to call for a shift in the collective consciousness. There are certainly countries that have started shifting into realizing the simple reality that we have mentioned before, that it is illogical that a modern society educates children in practical skills but does not educate them in the one area that affects every aspect of their lives, namely their psyche.

Again, you can do whatever you can to promote this idea and you can make the calls for it so that people will be able to grasp it and see that it is obvious. You can especially make calls for those who are what we have sometimes called the decision makers in the field so that this can break through at the higher levels of society.

Fear of getting ill

Question: I was seriously ill once and now I am well cured but I feel fearful for my health. I know that the body and mind are closely related. And after learning this, whenever I am sick, I think about what kind of mind I can do to get rid of this disease. Is this resistance to my pain? I think so. When I am sick, I wonder how I can accept the condition as it is and how I treat my sick body in relation to my mind.

Well, we have given many teachings on this, especially at the conference in Estonia about deep healing. I refer you to those teachings because we talk much more there about the connection between the mind and the body. What you can do is realize that most people on earth have several subconscious selves relating to this fear of getting ill or the fear of dying. You can use our tools to work on these and discover what they are for you individually and then let them go.

Plasma technology and free energy

Question: In an effort to discover new energy sources, scientists are working to realize artificial suns based on nuclear fusion reactions. However, artificial suns operate at high temperatures and high pressures, making them unsuitable for the concept of gridless, portable free energy. Instead of the ultra-high temperature of plasma produced by artificial suns, plasma technologies that operate at low temperatures and low pressures are widely used in the semiconductor industry. Recently, plasma technologies operating at atmospheric pressure have also been commercialized. Atmospheric plasma has the advantage of being able to operate on individual handheld devices. Since plasma is a state that contains subatoms, atoms and molecules, I think it is a technology that can form an energy portal through the three octaves of ether, mental and emotional. I would like to ask St. Germain if plasma technology can be one way to realize free energy. I also have a question about what specific requests the ascended master students can make regarding free energy manifestation.

Well, both the fusion technology and plasma technology are valid paths to pursue at this point. None of them are really the free energy that I am ideally envisioning will become available in the not-too-distant future because as I have explained before, this is based on recognizing that there is a natural flow of energy from the spiritual into the identity, mental, emotional and then into the physical. And that this can be harnessed to provide mechanical, physical work that can produce electricity and perform other functions.

It is valid at this point to research all kinds of alternative energy because this helps move science forward, it helps elevate the collective consciousness. As I have said before, one of the major problems to the release of free energy is people’s ability to accept that this is possible. I am not only talking about scientists or leaders or business people, but even the population at large.

The calls you can make on this is to raising the collective consciousness so that people from all areas of society will be able to accept the reality of free energy.

Other spiritual tools that help with ascension

Question: Are there other spiritual ascension tools besides decrees given by the ascended masters?

Yes, there are, of course, other tools, otherwise none of us would have made our ascension before the foundation of the I AM movement. But you realize that what we are giving now are, in our view, the most efficient tools for making your ascension in this age. Why would we introduce others? It is not just the decrees that are our tools. The primary tool we have given is actually the resolution of psychology by overcoming the subconscious selves. Are there other tools out there that can help you grow towards your ascension? Yes, of course. But if you do not feel that our teachings are enough, then use your intuition or simply experiment to find tools that are more suited for you.

Level of consciousness of Tibetan Rinpoches

Question: What are the spiritual level of Tibetan Buddhist Rinpoches and their problems?

Tibetan Buddhism started, as you probably know, with a valid enough foundation. However, it has, as most spiritual movements do over time, deviated from the original and from my original teachings and become too trapped, you might say, in rituals and dogmas. It has become a closed system. And therefore, in general, there are individual exceptions, but in general, the practitioners, even the leaders, do not have a particularly high level of consciousness.

The Dalai Lama’s role is, of course, to lead this movement from abroad, while at the same time trying to reform it according to his vision, because he realizes that it cannot continue as it is.

TV series and movies with low content

Question: If I change my perception filter, when I watch movies on TV or the internet, watch daily dramas, war movies or action movies with cartoons or novels, can I filter lower vibrational energy out?

It is very easy to prevent your mind from taking in lower content from many movies and TV programs. Does your remote control have an off button?

It is of course, a more realistic view here that as you increase your discernment, you become better at not taking in lower information or lower energies. But as you increase your discernment, you will also choose that there are certain programs you just will not watch because you experience that they lower your energies.

Again, we have given the tool that you tune into your heart chakra and you see whether it lowers or raises your energies and you can apply that to TV programs and movies.

You can of course make calls for protection, make calls to Astrea to cut you free, but if you continue to watch these programs while having to make the calls, then that is sort of a misuse of the decrees and invocations. We are the ascended masters. We are dedicated to helping you grow. We are not really garbage collectors. And so, I would recommend that you become more selective in what you watch so that you simply do not take that information in, in the first place.

Qi energy healing

Question: Among the practice groups, there is a group that studies Qi energy healing. When I share Qi energy with someone, I can feel their painful parts of bodies. Sometimes after I share Qi energy, I have severe phlegm and body aches. Can I continue studying Qi practices?

Well, you can certainly continue studying it if you then at the same time use ascended master teachings to first of all invoke protection from taking on people’s energies, but also shifting your mindset so that you do not take on energies beyond what is in accordance with the Christ discernment.

There are various health practitioners from all kinds of systems who have this desire, which is an ego-based desire to heal other people, and therefore, see physical results. And they are willing, whether they are conscious of this or not, to take on people’s energies in order to see a physical result. And this can cause many of these practitioners to take on so much energy that it actually burdens them. It can also in many cases have the effect that the people who are now free of this energy are not using the opportunity to grow. They just continue living their lives the way they want until they again become burdened by energy.

There can be instances where it is appropriate according to the Christ vision to take on people’s energies. But in most cases, it is not appropriate. It will hinder the growth of the person and it will hinder your growth. Therefore, you can take our teachings about the subconscious selves and how to expose them and see what selves you have in relation to your desire to heal other people so that you overcome this desire to help others by taking on what is not really yours to take on because it is their energy, their karma, and they will only learn from experiencing the effects that this has on their lives.

Spiritual perspective on a work dilemma

Question: I recently discovered that a highly arrogant snake-like individual currently holds an executive position at the company I am applying to. The CEO’s vision centers on contributing to society, and based on performance, promotion to an executive role is possible within two months. My goal is to join this company and contribute to emotional healing by integrating psychology, sadhu, Eastern Four Pillars, AI, data and social media. However, due to the executive’s desire to maintain his power and sense of superiority, I believe he would resort to any means to distort my intentions and undermine my efforts. Without a contract that guarantees a transition to an executive position from the beginning, my ability to contribute meaningfully could be delayed due to his resistance. According to Sasu analysis, 2025 is symbolically considered the year of the snake, and it is likely that this person will not leave the company until around 2027. I would like some advice on whether I should let the person resign on his own, or whether I should take steps to get him to resign on his own, or whether it would be better to just leave him alone.

Well, it depends on what your priorities are in life. If your priority is your own growth towards Christ Consciousness, then that is different than if your priority is to achieve the outer goals you describe. You could say that if your priorities are to attain Christ Consciousness, all three of the solutions you propose could work. If your priority is to achieve outer goals, none of the three are likely to work, because the two first ones would create frustration, and the last one would of course make it impossible for you to achieve those goals, at least through that company.

You can look at this as a learning experience, and you could admit to yourself that you are not fully mature and fully capable of doing the best you can do, and therefore, you could look at your engagement with the company as a learning process that gives you an opportunity to look at your own psychology by seeing the reactions to this person. And therefore, whether you leave him to resign on his own, or take steps, it gives you the opportunity to look at your reaction.

But you can also step back and look at: Why do you feel so disturbed by this person? Why are you projecting onto the person that he will do something that he has not yet done? Could there be another approach by overcoming the subconscious selves that cause your current reaction?

Buddhahood among Buddhist monks

Question: The Buddhist order formed by the teachings of the Buddha 2,500 years ago had many devoted practitioners and believers, especially in various parts of Asia until today. Are there any beings among them who have attained Christ Consciousness and ascended or attained the Buddha Consciousness? If so, please let me know in which era and region it was located and what kind of representative being it was.

There are certainly beings who have attained Christhood and even Buddhahood. But most of these are not known to the public because they withdrew from society at large. Some of them did not even become teachers, but still appeared as ordinary monks for the rest of their lifetime so it is not really necessary for me to give you their specific names. I also cannot do this through this messenger because he does not have enough outer knowledge of the different Buddhist orders that I can bring forth the knowledge through his mind.

But as I said, it is good to know that some people have attained this, but it is also good to know that it is not that many, partly because the focus of the Buddhist orders has not really been on bringing people to the level of Buddhahood, partly because there is still some idolatry of the Buddha, or rather there has been from the very beginning.

If you have any kind of spiritual movement that idolizes the founder, then it is not as likely that the followers will attain the same level of consciousness as the founder. They will find various reasons, various excuses for not rising to that level of consciousness. And of course, you could say that idolatry of a teacher is in its essence an excuse for the followers not striving for the same level of consciousness, but settling for a lower level in this lifetime, believing that they will make it to the goal after this lifetime, which of course cannot be done.

Feeling pressure to go back to work

Question: When I was working, I often ran out of energy after work, leaving little energy to take care of my little son. I took two years off, and this is when I learned the teachings of the ascended masters. I do not want to go back to work because I do not have enough energy to raise my son while working and also study spirituality. Since my husband’s income is enough to live, I want to focus on my spiritual path in my spare time after doing housework and taking care of my son, who is eight years old. But will this be simply an escape from reality? I have a feeling that it is not enough for me to just stay at home and take care of my son, but I also do not want to be stressed out at work. However, I still feel psychological pressure to return to work.

Well, certainly if you have the opportunity to not work but to focus on your son and your spiritual growth, why not take that opportunity? You do not have to decide that this needs to be a permanent thing that lasts until your son is grown. You can just take it as an experiment that you do for a certain time without deciding how long that should be, and then use your intuition to tune in when it is time to go back to work. You need to recognize that when you feel pressure to go back to work, that is not really the kind of prompting that comes from your Divine plan.

Your Divine plan will be more of a silent or calm inner voice urging you to go back to work. This pressure, therefore, most likely comes from these subconscious selves that you have acquired during your upbringing or you may have carried from past lives that says: “You should go back to work. You should be at work.” Use our tools and teaching to discover those selves and overcome them. And then when you come to a point where you can be at home and be at peace about that, and then you start to once in a while go into a new state of mind and listen to your intuition, you may at some point get the impulse from within that now it is time to go back to work, but then you do not have any pressure.

And also, you can take the opportunity to consider: why do you feel stressed out at work? Why does it drain your energy so you do not have energy left over when you come home? This is again subconscious selves. If you spend the time you have off to work on this psychological aspect, you can at some point in the future return back to work without being so stressed about it.

Needed changes in the educational system in Korea

Question: I have a question about education in Korea. As in other fields, there are many high barriers to break through. The obsession and selfishness of Korean parents in particular is considered to be one of the most insurmountable challenges, and the problem is that there is no basic system in place to limit the outrageous demands that parents make on teachers even when they interfere with educational activities. It is not uncommon for schools to abuse the Child Abuse Act to harass teachers, leading them to take their own lives after being bullied to the point of suicide. Just a few days ago, another teacher in Jeju Island chose this unfortunate path. However, there are still no effective changes to the law to protect teachers in their educational endeavors. Is it because teachers’ basic political rights, such as freedom of expression, are so limited in South Korea that they are off the radar of politicians who are too focused on getting votes? How many teachers have to lose their lives before this unbalanced education reality changes? What is the urgent need for Korean education to move toward a golden age of public education that will provide great opportunities and foundations for developing a sense of community, solidarity, civic citizenship, and universal spirituality?

The problem that you are describing is not unique to Korea. There are many nations, even many of the democratic nations, where teachers are not appreciated. They are often not paid very well and generally not looked at as having any position in society. This is, of course, just one of the many things that need to change before education can move into the golden age mindset. But the primary thing that really needs to break through is that you realize that education cannot be just about the child acquiring knowledge. It is a matter of educating the whole child to become a wholesome person who can function in society. And the current competitive climate not only in Korea, but also in other nations, is not helpful to that development at all.

This is a shift that you can make the calls for, but it will take some time for this to happen. And it will actually happen when nations like Korea begin to see that there are other nations that have a different focus of the educational system and that actually it functions better for everybody than the current Korean system. And it will also change when parents become aware that bringing up their child to be a high achiever in society and getting a high-paid job does not necessarily make them happy and fulfilled people as adults.

The current situation is based on what we have talked about before: when you see that your parents or grandparents grew up in great poverty, you want to do better for yourself. You especially want to do better for your children. And therefore, you think that the only way for your children to do as well as possible is to push them into achieving as much as possible in the educational system, where the achievement in the system and the ability to move on to higher education and get a high-paying job is more important than their happiness and well-being.

But this will change, and certainly the younger generation will change it, because many of them will not want to bring up their children the same way that they were brought up. And this also means that they will make different demands on the educational system. Of course, you also need to recognize here that just as the children are human beings, the teachers are also human beings. And of course, there needs to be a growing social awareness where parents realize that it is not just about their child, because part of being a successful person even in the business world is to be able to cooperate with others. And you cannot do that if you are brought up to only think about yourself as an individual.

The I AM Presence and the lesson of free will

Question: I have a question regarding the teaching given in Sanat Kumara’s dictation at the Netherlands conference about the Conscious You descending to earth. It was explained that when the enigma of free will is not resolved by the I AM Presence, and also not resolved by the Conscious You, then the existing Conscious You from a natural planet descends on earth. But if the Conscious You does resolve the enigma, then the I AM Presence creates a new Conscious You based on its own perspective on earth and the pain associated with earth. This newly created self, therefore, descends with a particular viewpoint about earth. In that case, does the previously existing Conscious You from a natural planet descend with less or no particular viewpoint about earth compared to the newly created one? And two, compared to a newly created Conscious You, does the Conscious You from a natural planet carry not only memories of the natural planet, but also more of the selves it had created there, meaning the subconscious selves through which it experienced life on that planet? It was said that the reason avatars could not ascend from their natural planets was because their I AM Presences failed to resolve the enigma of free will. If the same happens on earth, meaning the Conscious You resolves the enigma, but the I AM Presence again fails to integrate the learning and resolve it, does that mean the inability to ascend could be repeated here as well?

Question 1: Does the previously existing Conscious You from a natural planet descend?

No, the previously created Conscious You that resolved the enigma does not descend to earth. If the I AM Presence has not resolved the enigma, then a new Conscious You is created. The previous one is reintegrated with the I AM Presence. Now, what the newly created Conscious You can do is it can tune in to the lessons that the previous Conscious You learned that are integrated in the causal body. Therefore, it can more quickly come to resolve the enigma on earth and thereby help the I AM Presence resolve the enigma.

Question 2: Compared to a newly created Conscious You, does the Conscious You from a natural planet carry not only memories of the natural planet, but also more of the self?

The answer is no, because the Conscious You, the previous Conscious You from the natural planet, does not descend to earth and therefore, does not carry anything.

Question 3: Is that if the I AM Presence failed to resolve the enigma of free will, then the avatars could not ascend from their natural planets, and could that be repeated on an unnatural planet?

Yes, it can, and it is possible that an I AM Presence, even after sending a Conscious You to an unnatural planet, does not yet resolve the enigma, but it is very rare that this happens. But it can certainly happen and then there may be a need to send the Conscious You that descended to an unnatural planet, to another unnatural planet or to create a new Conscious You that goes to another unnatural planet. But it is very rare.

Women as a driving force for change in relationships

Question: I do most of the housework, and my husband tries to help me when I tell him. But he thinks I am the main person in the household. My parents showed a more severe imbalance, and I often dealt with it emotionally. I know this is a judgmental eye of mine that wants to make the other person’s ego perfect, but I think it contains a patriarchal problem that has persisted in Korea for a long time. This time we talked and decided on each other’s roles, and I tried to process my emotions as much as possible, but I feel like I became somewhat emotional. Since then, I keep thinking that this is my ego’s frame of judgment, and I should have focused on breaking it. I would like to get a multifaceted perspective on this matter. Please give me some advice.

When you look at Korean society as we have talked about before, it is clear that the role of men and women will be changing, gradually over time, but not a long period of time, because many young people are not willing to play these roles, neither men nor women. Naturally, these roles will be softened up. Now, the question is, who, in a relationship, is willing or capable of changing? Often it is the woman who is willing to change, partly because they carry the biggest burden, partly because they are more open to personal and spiritual growth. If you have already had a conversation with your husband, then you need to look at yourself and your reaction. I am not saying that your husband does not need to change, but I am saying that you, as the woman who is more open to change, need to look at yourself, your own reactions.

We have given the tools of how to expose the subconscious selves and let them die. If you can use this situation to look at your view of what it means to be a woman, your view of what it means to be a man, and work on your emotional reactionary patterns to this that may indeed come from many past lifetimes, then you can make spiritual progress. What will happen when you do, is that you will begin to see something about the situation that you cannot see right now, because the selves that are causing you to act are blocking your vision.

This means you can now get a stronger intuition for what could potentially change in the environment, in the relationship. That means you can now have a talk with your husband that is at a higher level than what you are capable of having right now. This may mean that your husband will then be able to respond more positively, and therefore, perhaps change. Now, it is possible that your husband will choose not to change, and then you need to make the decision of whether you will live with that, or whether you will consider leaving the relationship.

But again, as you overcome the reactionary patterns in yourself, you can make a more neutral decision about this that is guided by your intuition, and not your outer mind and these reactionary selves. I know, it is not much comfort that you are the one who has to change, but the reality in most relationships is that the woman is the one who is more open to change. Therefore, if change is going to happen, who is going to drive it? The one who is more open to change, or the one who is more closed?

Therefore, you can simply realize that if the relationship is going to change, you are the one who is going to have to drive the change. That starts with changing yourself.

How to transcend expectations of what should or should not happen

Question: I realize that as I go through my life, I tend to believe that the world will unfold according to my subconscious expectations or conceptual mindset. Although I make a conscious effort not to think this way, I often end up disappointed because of those expectations. Is it wrong to have expectations in my life? How can I transcend them?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korea Conference.

It is not necessarily wrong to have expectations, but most expectations that people have are based on subconscious selves that spring from the sense of separation. Most people have expectations that you, as a separate being, should achieve some result, some outer situation, and that, of course, will tie you to that subconscious self. It will often set you up even for a lifetime of disappointment and frustration when your expectations are not met. In many cases, in most cases, the expectations of these subconscious selves are simply not realistic, so they will not be met.

You can have some expectations that are not based on dualistic selves, but based on the selves from the 48th to the 144th level of consciousness. But even those selves, you will, of course, transcend as you rise higher on the path. That means that you can come to that point that Nada talked about where you are at peace because you have no more selves that have expectations of what should or should not happen. This is the ultimate way to escape suffering. You could say that at the higher levels of awareness, you will have no expectations. Certainly, you will not be attached to whether any expectation you have is fulfilled or not.

Attachment to a deceased family member

Question: I am a mother of two sons. My husband passed away in an accident at work a few years ago. I have been working alone and proceeding with a trial related to my husband’s death and almost everything was completed in March of this year. The children will have to go to college. My deceased husband seems to have been connected to me since the accident. I have no one to rely on and I am doing well on my own. I want to continue to be with my deceased husband. I wonder if this is my obsession with him or if my family members are avatars. I want to hear advice from Mother Mary or Jesus about the direction I should take in the future. Also, is there a way for me to go spiritually instead of decrees in my busy daily life?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korea Conference.

Well, as we have said many times, we will not tell people what to do with their lives from an outer source. We will work with people individually to give you intuitive insights. But this, in order to receive them, requires a certain resolution of psychology. What I will comment on here is your desire to stay with your deceased husband. This is not a constructive desire for your spiritual growth. Your husband is out of embodiment. He needs to move on to the right level where he can receive help and instructions to heal before his next embodiment. You need to let him do this instead of trying to hold on to him. When you seek to hold on to a deceased family member, one of two things will happen. You can prevent the family member from moving on or the family member moves on because that is what they want to do and you attract another discarnate or even a lower entity that you mistake for your deceased family member. Then you start creating an energetic tie to this being which has a lower level of consciousness. You need to let your deceased husband go. You need to let yourself go from any attachment to him. That is how you can take your spiritual growth to a higher level.

Is there a way to grow instead of decrees in your busy daily life? Well, give a few minutes of decrees, even the short decrees that have been used at this conference, the refrain of the decrees. Pick two or three that appeal to you and give them as many times as you have time for. You should have time to give at least three of these short decrees nine times each. That will only take a few minutes. Otherwise, the fastest way to go is, of course, resolution of psychology, but if you are very busy, that may not be a practical possibility for you.

Mother Mary’s vision for the Korean AM community

Question: It has now been a decade since the ascended master students community was first established in Korea. Currently, it is estimated that around 150 students are sincerely studying the teachings delivered through the Messenger Kim Michaels. While there has been a gradual growth in consciousness among students, the number of active members has remained relatively stable with no significant increase or decrease. In recent times, we have also observed that very few students are engaging in meaningful dialogue within the online community and overall activity has become increasingly stagnant. Furthermore, in early 2025, two or three individuals declared themselves to be new messengers of the ascended masters, which has caused some confusion about the identity and direction of the community. The leadership team, the staff of this community is currently reflecting deeply on how best to guide and grow this community both in terms of its spiritual direction and practical approach. Mother Mary, could you kindly share the vision the ascended masters hold for the Korean ascended master student group and offer insights on its future development?

When you go back and listen to and read the dictations we have already given at this conference, you will see that we have several times given you hints for how you can grow in the Korean community. When you take and apply these, you will see that you will again start having more movement, more growth.

We have of course also said that you cannot be attached to outer results. What I would say at this point is that it is a phenomenon that you see in most spiritual communities that they go through a growth phase and then after some time there is a certain stagnation. This is simply a cycle where you attract certain people to the teachings and then those people need to internalize and implement the teachings. Only when they have done this to a certain level can there be a new growth phase.

I know we sound like we are repeating ourselves, but truly, there is always the need to look at psychology, to look at your psychology, both in the leadership and in the membership of a community. Because you can say that the key to growth is always the resolution of psychology, you can say that the community itself has a certain level of the resolution of psychology and that attracted a certain group of people. In order to attract a new group of people, you need to reach a higher level of resolution of psychology, but you also need to reach that level where you realize that you do not need to be frustrated about not attracting more members. Because what you are doing, even with the numbers you have right now, is having a very significant impact on Korea. I am not saying that it is not our goal that we would like to attract more members. I am saying that you need to be careful you do not stress about this. You need to be willing to recognize that you have done great work already and that you have had a major positive impact on the Korean collective consciousness, and that even if you continued at your current level, you would continue to have a positive impact.

We are not looking to tell you from an outer source. We are looking to tell you through your intuition individually. If you feel like you are not getting the intuition, then apply the teachings about resolving psychology, increasing your intuition, including the teachings we are giving at this conference. You could say when you have the teachings from this conference translated, make an effort to apply them. Get together in groups, talk about how you can apply them. If you sincerely do this, then you will grow as a community.

In terms of other people claiming to be messengers, we do not have any sponsored messengers in Korea. But we do see the pattern again and again, as we have seen in previous dispensations, that there will be times where some will claim that now they are messengers. This is not a unique phenomenon. It happens on a regular basis. In many cases this is driven by people’s individual ambition whereby they contact forces that may not be malevolent, but still the effect of listening to dictations from lower levels and the ascended level is that it can create doubt and division in a community. We do not encourage people to study this at this point. Quite frankly, we encourage you to take the teachings you already have and internalize and apply them and it will give you everything you could want.

Mindfulness and the Conscious You

Question: Is the mindfulness of Buddhism or Sati the Conscious You?

There is no yes or no answer. It depends on how the individual practitioners or teachers look at this. There are various interpretations of what mindfulness is, of what no-self is, of what an undifferentiated state of consciousness is, and some have grasped the same idea, although they do not use the same words as what we call the Conscious You. But some have not. They have created a mental image of what it means to have no-self or be mindful or be mindless or have an undifferentiated state of consciousness.

As with everything, some people have a higher vision, some people have a lower vision. Some people have taken the words, interpreted them in a certain way and they now believe they have the highest understanding of this so they are not really open to listening to anything that comes through their intuitive faculties. I will say here in this context that I am an ascended master, the Ascended Master Gautama Buddha. I have been an ascended for 2,500 years. I have watched from the ascended level how Buddhism has developed, fractured into different factions and as Jesus has watched Christianity splinter, we have been willing to work with people and give them intuitive insights that could have avoided not all but certainly many of these splits.

There is a natural way that any teaching can be interpreted from different perspectives and people can focus on different aspects of the teachings and that is perfectly fine as long as they do not fall prey to this temptation to think that they have the ultimate interpretation and that all the others are wrong. Once you go into this mindset, you have taken the interpretation of the teaching too far and you have cut yourself off from contact with the teacher and therefore, you are moving further and further away from the original goal of the teaching while of course being convinced that you are moving closer and closer to that goal.

Reasons why avatars came to earth

Question: We know that avatars incarnate on earth for different reasons. We know that some lifestreams incarnate to maintain balance with fallen beings, while others come down to have dualistic experiences that can only be had on unnatural planets. If it is true that avatars incarnate on earth for different purposes, what accounts for these differences in motivation? Is it based on their level of consciousness prior to incarnation? For those lifestreams with higher consciousness, are they allowed to incarnate to protect the balance of the planet? And for those who still need more experience, are they allowed to incarnate for dualistic experiences? I would also appreciate it if you could guide me to a higher perspective from the ascended masters regarding this question.

You are correct that it is the avatar’s level of consciousness on their natural planet that determines this. Now, there are beings who have incarnated on earth who have come from a natural planet that rose to a higher level, and they could not keep up with this. There are a few that have come from natural planets that have become unnatural planets, but they needed a change of scenery.

We can discuss whether we should call these avatars or not, in the sense that the way we have used the concept of avatars are people who deliberately incarnated here to have a positive impact on earth. In other words, they did not actually incarnate on earth to have a dualistic experience. These are the other lifestreams that I just mentioned. In the pure way that we use the word avatar, it is people who had a high enough level of consciousness that they did not have to incarnate on an unnatural planet, but they chose to do so because they realized it could further their growth and they realized, in some cases, that it could help them learn the lessons about free will that they had not fully learned and integrated on a natural planet.

Yes, you can say that those with a lower consciousness are allowed to incarnate because they can experience duality on earth. Those of a higher consciousness are allowed to incarnate because they can hold the balance for the fallen beings, but it is really, in a deeper reason, because they have the opportunity to then to learn the lesson that they have not really learned, namely that free will must be allowed to outplay itself within very wide boundaries.

We have given our teachings on avatars at different levels where we first gave an introduction and made it seem like all avatars came here just for holding the balance and improving the earth, and later we have given deeper teachings that many avatars came because they had not learned the lesson of free will. Which means that before you came to earth you had a vision of the changes you wanted to bring to earth, but what you were really meant to accomplish by coming to earth was to learn the lesson that you cannot have an opinion about how other self-aware beings should exercise their free will. You cannot judge this. You cannot have an intent that they should not suffer. You cannot have the idea that suffering is wrong.

You see, again, there can be many individual reasons where, when you were at a natural planet and you had reached as far as you could go on that natural planet and you started looking on an unnatural planet, you had individual reasons for deciding: “Ah, I think I could accomplish this. I think I could make these people see why they are suffering because surely, I cannot imagine that they want to suffer”. Many different individual reasons that we have not fully explained because there are so many and really why do we need to explain it, when you need to individually use your intuition, use the process for healing your birth trauma and therefore, going to the point where you can intuitively receive the vision from your I AM Presence of what was your individual decision that caused you to come to earth. Because only when you see it intuitively can you really work on resolving it.

Creation of earth and free energy

Question: When the Elohim gathered to begin the creation of earth, what choices were made and what scope did they have? What are some of the planets that have contrasting characteristics to earth? What does free energy have to do with the selecting factors of earth’s creation? How would the concepts of education, monetary systems, and working jobs be different in the free energy age than they are now? When will the free energy era arrive in Korea?

Question 1: When the Elohim gathered to begin the creation of earth, what choices were made and what scope did they have?

Well, it is impossible to tell you exactly what decisions the Elohim made. For the simple reason that you do not have the foundation for understanding this. We could potentially give teachings about this, but it is not really our priority right now as you do not need to understand the choices made. You can get some idea of this by looking at the constants that define the universe, even though those constants do not apply just to earth. But the Elohim of course worked within the parameters defined by these cosmological constants. And you will know that scientists have discovered a number of these, and they realized that if those constants were just slightly different, then the universe would be very different from what you have now.

You see here that there are certain decisions made at the Elohimic level and above where a slight change would lead to a very different universe.

Question 2: What are some of the planets that have contrasting characteristics to earth?

Well, all of the other planets, right? There is no organic carbon-based life form on any of the other planets in your solar system because there is no life form at the physical spectrum. The same applies to many planets throughout the universe.

Question 3: How would the concepts, what does free energy have to do with selecting the factors of earth’s creation?

Well, not really much, because it is built into the basic design of the entire universe that free energy is a possibility. It is a possibility on all planets, simply because the universe is created with the four levels and that energy flows from the spiritual into the identity, into the mental, into the emotional, into the physical. When the beings embody on a planet tune into this flow, then free energy becomes possible.

Question 4: When will that happen in Korea?

Well, it will take time. It will not happen first in Korea, but in other countries. We are, realistically speaking, some breakthroughs can happen in this 12-year cycle, but the widespread implementation of it will take longer.

Question 5: How would education and monetary systems and working jobs be different in a free energy age?

Well, education would have to, of course, help people understand why free energy is possible and how to take advantage of it, how to implement it. Monetary systems, well, they would not necessarily change the systems themselves, but of course the entire business community, the entire approach to business would change dramatically when free energy is available. There are some businesses that are now these huge multinational corporations based on extracting fossil fuels, for example, or other forms of energy that are energy monopolies and they would simply disappear, completely disappear. Other businesses would spring up to create the devices that can take advantage of free energy. Jobs would not necessarily change fundamentally, even though, of course, there would be many new jobs that would come up when free energy is available.

There are suddenly things you can do when you have free energy that you cannot do today because they are not profitable, given the energy cost involved. But when you have free energy, many, many things become possible, and this will create new businesses and many new jobs. Certainly, your jobs will not be made obsolete by AI when we transition into free energy.

President Lee Jae Myung

Question: Kim: There is a question here about Lee Jae Myung. And this was written, did I pronounce that wrong? No? Jae Myung Okay. But this was written before the election. Since he was elected, I am not going to read the whole question. I am just going to give the last part:

Question: I wonder whether Lee Jae Myung may be an embodiment of a higher conscious spiritual being or perhaps even a form of avatar in physical incarnation? I humbly request your insights and perspective on this matter. It also says here before that even though he does know about ascended master’s teachings, he sometimes, his words and policy directions appear to resonate with or even align partially with the vision of the masters. In January 25, Saint Germain mentioned that he is not a fully balanced leader, but he often emphasizes his trust in the collective intelligence of the people and advocates for the gradual implementation of basic income and direct democracy.

Basically, what I will say here is that given the current situation in Korea, the people chose the most balanced and suitable leader. This is not to say that I support or endorse him fully, because as I said he is not fully balanced. But then again, which political leader is fully balanced? What we are saying here is that given the current situation and the lessons that the Korean people need to learn, this was the best possible outcome of the election.

Now, this particular candidate is not the only one who has some openness to ideas from the ascended realm, but he has some openness, some insight into what needs to happen in Korean society. If he is willing to act on this and if he can gain support for this in the political arena, then you can see some progress. There can of course also be challenges, depending on how he carries out the office. But nevertheless, I am hopeful, cautiously optimistic, that Korea will make progress under this presidency.

How to see the subconscious selves

Question: Despite the ascended master’s recent teachings on the subconscious selves, I find it very difficult to find my subconscious self. How can we make it easier to find a subconscious self and how can we uncover the causes or beliefs behind it?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korea Conference.

Well, we have attempted to make it as easy as possible especially with the tools given in the book Healing Your Spiritual Traumas, but also in many other teachings that are freely available.

Really there is no mechanical way to make this easier, because as we have explained – it is a matter of you coming to see something that you do not see right now and that the self does not want you to see. Really, it all revolves around one thing, your willingness to look at yourself. And you may say with the outer mind: “Oh, I am willing to look at myself”, but in many cases that is not correct. You still have a subconscious resistance. Now you understand here, I hope, that there will always be resistance from the self. It does not want to be exposed because it wants to survive and it can only survive if it stays hidden from you. But you, even the Conscious You, can have a certain resistance to coming to see something in yourself or even a resistance to looking inside yourself instead of projecting that the problem is out there. Some people have such a momentum from past lives of believing in this outer path that you can be saved without looking at your psychology, that it takes time for you, it takes work to work with yourself consciously to shift into the point where you really are willing.

And the same goes for uncovering the causes and beliefs behind the self. You can still have resistance. You can have some selves you are willing to look at and expose, but you can have others where there is a certain emotional charge where you really do not want to see that you have a certain self or a certain tendency, a certain reactionary pattern.

For example, many spiritual people have learned in past lives that on the spiritual path you are not supposed to be prideful. They have actually created a self that seeks to suppress any sense of pride. And this self will then cause you to resist seeing that you have a self that is based on pride. Therefore, it can sometimes be necessary to look at yourself and see if you have a self that resists you looking at your psychology.

In general, each specific self has a resistance to you looking for that self, but you can have certain general selves that are resisting your looking inside yourself. This is something you can apply if you feel it is difficult to come to see the selves. Apply this and see if that helps you come to see something that then opens up, so it becomes easier for you to see more specific selves.

Transfer of consciousness with organ transplant

Question 1: In a previous Q&A, the masters said regarding blood donation and organ transplants that organs carry the donor’s consciousness and therefore, the recipient should ask the masters to remove the energy, demagnetize the organ so that they may be free from the lower elements of the donor’s consciousness. Fourteen years ago, I donated 70% of my liver to my critically ill daughter through a living liver transplant. Since then, I have observed, quite surprisingly, that her personality has become noticeably similar to mine. However, at that time I was not aware of the teachings of the ascended masters and therefore, did not make any such request. My questions are as follows: Is it still necessary or meaningful to request the removal of my energy from the transplanted organ even after so many years?

The short answer is yes, it is meaningful, and it is important.

Question 2: If lower elements of consciousness can be transferred through physical organs, is it acceptable or even beneficial if higher elements are transferred as well?

If you have a higher level of consciousness than the person receiving the transplant, then it can be beneficial to that person. But on the other hand, you also have the concern that this person needs to be able to evolve based on their own level of consciousness and the free will choices. I cannot give you an absolute answer to this question. What I can say is that you should still request that your consciousness and energy be withdrawn from the transplanted organ, so it does not affect the recipient. You do this according to the vision of Christ and if it is beneficial for the recipient that they retain the energy and the consciousness then it will not be removed. But at least you have made the request, so that we have the authority to step in when needed.

Question 3: Could this type of transfer involve a subtle interference with the recipient’s free will? This question arises especially because after the transplant I noticed my daughter began making decisions that felt somewhat different from her previous tendencies.

Well yes it certainly can do this. In some cases, this can be beneficial and otherwise not. But you still need to ask for this to be withdrawn in accordance with the vision of Christ and then we will determine what applies in the individual situation.

Question on shamans

Question: I wonder what kind of beings shamans receive information from?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korea Conference.

Well, that depends on the shaman and his or her level of consciousness. There are shamans who are at such a low level of consciousness and use techniques and tools that are of a lower form that they can only tune into beings from the emotional realm. Some even tune into beings from the astral realm. Then there are shamans who can tune into beings from the mental realm and therefore, receive higher information. A few can tune into beings from the identity realm. And once in a while there will be a shaman who can tune in to the ascended masters, at least part of the time. It is very individual, but I will say that the vast majority of shamans do not go beyond the mental level and there are quite a few shamans that in the rituals they use, in the techniques and tools they use, especially if they use any form of chemical substance to alter their consciousness, they are only tuned in to the emotional or even the astral plane.

And you see this often with shamans that they are very tied to the earth, to a specific culture, to natural phenomena, to using various natural things, dead animals, rocks, whatever it may be, and this of course ties them to the lower realms. It is a matter of whether the shaman is able to raise his or her consciousness beyond the earthly level.

Communication between the higher and lower self

Question: On a previous question I did, it was addressed to me that I could get my own answers instead of asking through here the validity of what I received on my own. On another answer, it was said to me that a system I somehow generated to receive answers is not a good way to receive them, so I dismissed it. Something quite hard and difficult to explain then happened to me that I am not quite sure I can comment on what has left me with what I can equate to signs of trauma. It has damaged my worth and made me evaluate and acknowledge what a person deserves and what a person causes as a return of karma, and it is quite difficult to find balance. In this unbalanced state it has been quite challenging to get some answers, and the system I generated has not stopped, it is almost autonomous and is causing me a lot of stress. I do not know how to stop it.

You have said that if the messenger is an ant, heed it, and it seems there are too many ants in my life. At the background of all this there is something that always concerned me, the channel of communication between the higher self and the lower self. To be honest, at times I have come to be frustrated on how come there is not a better way to relate in conversation among the two so it all would be easier. Isn’t that what has the world being as astray as it is? The reading of what guides the higher self is providing. This might be my individual scenario, and I am caught in a fog, so my main question is what is the best way to enter in communication with my higher self and is not my higher self behind the system you said is not a good way to get answers, so then I should get rid of it for good. On what proportion should the will of the higher self be on the lower self to conduct a successful path all the time? Was the will of the higher self all the time on Jesus, or is it a progressive thing? Please add whatever may help me in these challenging times.

You can start by making use of the book about connecting to your spiritual teachers, which also talks about connecting to your higher self. That gives you some practical tools to work with. You can also use the books on healing your spiritual trauma, because when you talk about the lack of communication between the higher self and the lower self, well, it is because there is interference from the subconscious selves due to past trauma.

What the fallen beings want to achieve for all avatars who have come to earth is precisely this, that your Conscious You is separated from your I AM Presence, distrusts the I AM Presence and therefore, is not open to guidance from the I AM Presence or the ascended masters.

The key word in your question is that you have developed a system. That precisely is the problem. When you have, due to past life trauma, come to distrust or not feel you have a clear connection to your I AM Presence, then you can develop this desire that we see in many spiritual people for some kind of supposedly infallible system. This you see outplayed in many people who use forms of divination, from tarot cards to muscle testing to this or that, where they seek to get these supposedly infallible answers. But you need to recognize here that there is no such thing as getting infallible answers. And the desire for infallible answers comes from the ego as we have explained, even so far at this conference. It always wants something ultimate, something infallible.

But you see, you have to adjust your expectations here. There is no such thing as infallible answers. There is no such thing as your Conscious You going through some kind of process and now you have clear and infallible communication from your I AM Presence telling you what to do and what not to do. As we have explained so many times, there is free will at the level of the I AM Presence and there is free will at the level of the Conscious You. It is not the purpose of the spiritual path that the Conscious You becomes a slave of the I AM Presence, a marionette, a robot. You still have to make decisions. But because of an unresolved trauma from the past, many people are unwilling to make decisions. That is why they want to develop a system that gives them infallible answers. You need to adjust your expectations and realize that your I AM Presence can give you a frame of reference, but you still have to make your decisions at the level of the Conscious You. And that, in order to make the best possible decisions, you have to be willing to resolve psychology.

And unfortunately, we see in many spiritual students, those who go into wanting this system or this form of divination that can give them infallible answers, that they are not the most willing to look at their psychology. Whenever you have trouble connecting to your I AM Presence, there is really only one answer: unresolved psychology.

What is narcissism?

Question: What is the spiritual definition of narcissism and what is the spiritual background and reason a person becomes a narcissist? Is narcissism an exclusive characteristic of fallen beings or are there non-fallen beings who are narcissists as well?

To begin with the last question, there are many that are not fallen beings that are narcissists, that have narcissistic personality traits. And the reason for this is quite simple. Narcissism is really the main characteristic of the ego. We have talked about how at the 48th level you see yourself as a connected being, when you go to the 47th level you lose that sense of connection. Therefore, you create the ego to compensate for the loss that you feel, and the ego is now charged with making you, as a separate being, feel good, whatever definition of “good” you might have.

There are two main ways of seeking to deal with this sense of loss. One is that you can become a passive person who follows the collective consciousness, who does not seek to acquire a strong individuality or a strong position in society. This is what you see in many people on earth, that they are passive, they are, just like we have said before, jellyfish flowing with the ocean currents in the collective consciousness.

The other way of dealing with the sense of loss is that you seek to strengthen your separate self, to elevate the separate self to a higher status, a special status. In other words, you have a sense of loss, one way to deal with it is to deny your potential as a self and therefore, you have the excuse: “Oh I cannot do anything special, I just do what everybody else is doing.” The other is that you seek to become special because you might even think that this will either help you feel better or help you come back into a sense of connectedness or enter the kingdom of heaven or whatever people believe, and you think this can be achieved by elevating the separate self. The ones who become passive are the ones who have fallen under the spell of the fallen beings who want to control people. The ones who become active are the ones who believe in the lie of the fallen beings, which is that they can elevate the separate self to such a superior status that God has to make it immortal and even allow it to enter heaven and as we have said before, that cannot be done.

You see indeed, many people on earth who have gone into this attempt to elevate their separate selves to having a special status in society. And not all of them are fallen beings even though some are, but relatively few in physical embodiment are fallen beings. There are many more narcissists that are original inhabitants and even some avatars who have gone into this. You could say, from a certain perspective, you can say that those who seek to elevate the separate selves, there is a slightly higher potential that they could come to a point where they see the futility of this, they have just had enough of this, they see the vanity of it and therefore, they reach for a more genuine approach which is the spiritual path. Those who are passive can remain passive for many lifetimes, but they can also make some progress if they follow the golden rule and seek to live by the golden rule, they can raise their consciousness and get closer to the 47th level, but they also might be inspired to re-establish that connection.

Either way can work, but for some people, the faster way is to actually elevate the self. You might say that some narcissists are getting closer to making the switch and discovering a genuine path, but there are also some narcissists that are simply digging themselves into a deeper and deeper hole because they believe in the lie of the fallen beings, that the self can be elevated to some ultimate status by fulfilling conditions in this world. You could say the essence of narcissism is you are seeking to raise your separate self to some ultimate status by fulfilling conditions defined in this world.

This is, of course as we have said, an impossible quest, which can never lead you to feel peace of mind, to feel fulfilled. There will always be something more you can achieve for the separate self until you see the futility and the vanity of the entire quest to elevate the separate self.

How to heal past traumas without knowing their origin

Question: If, for the most part, we do not consciously remember our previous embodiments or any of the details related to our previous embodiments, then why do we sometimes carry the effects of trauma that is related to that past embodiment without having the knowledge or the understanding about where and when this trauma originated?

How is it possible to heal from the symptoms of a disorder or a disability related to this trauma if we have no conscious awareness of its origin?

As we have explained in our books about healing traumas, especially Healing Your Spiritual Traumas, what happens is that when you receive a severe trauma, it is overwhelming for you to deal with this consciously. And therefore, you create these subconscious selves to help you deal with the trauma by largely suppressing the trauma. In other words, pushing it into the subconscious mind. And the necessity of this is that when you are exposed to the trauma, it is overwhelming. By pushing it into the subconscious mind, you get a temporary relief from it so that you can gradually raise your consciousness until you are ready to look at and deal with the trauma.

That is the whole idea of the teachings about the birth trauma that you acquired a long time ago, but that many of you are now ready to deal with, which is why we have given you the tools. But in the meantime, if you had been aware of it, it would have been too overwhelming. That is why from embodiment to embodiment, you forget the actual circumstances that led to the trauma. But of course, you are still affected by it because you still have these subconscious selves that react to situations on earth and that color your outlook.

How is it possible to heal from the symptoms of a disorder or disability related to the trauma if you have no conscious awareness? Well, the teachings and tools we have given about healing the birth trauma and resolving the subconscious selves is precisely to give you a way to make it conscious. Now, as we have said before, it does not mean you have to have a conscious awareness of the exact physical circumstances that led to the trauma. What you need to come to see is the decisions you made based on the trauma, the subconscious selves you created, and then you resolve those. And this can in many cases be done without knowing what the actual physical situation was.

Our aim for our work is not to have you have total recall of all of your past lifetimes, but it is to help you resolve the psychology that you are still carrying with you from past lifetimes so that you can be free to either ascend after this lifetime or to re-embody without this burden and therefore, have a greater impact on helping Saint Germain manifest the golden age.

The purpose of the teachings, decrees, and invocations

Question: What is the difference between the following things? One, studying the dictation or book of an ascended master. Two, giving the invocation of an ascended master. Three, not studying anything, not saying anything, just simply trying to experience the vibration or Presence of an ascended master.

When you study a book or a dictation, it has two main purposes. One is to give you a teaching that can help you shift the way you look at life, the way you look at yourself. And the other is to give you a sense of the master’s Presence, which can help you attune to the ascended master. Giving decrees and invocations has the primary function of transforming the energy stored in your emotional, mental, and identity bodies that are pulling on your conscious mind, that are hiding the subconscious selves, reinforcing the subconscious selves. And forming a veil that makes it harder for your conscious mind to see these selves. By transmuting energy, you make it easier for yourself to resolve the psychology.

Not studying, not giving decrees and invocations, just simply trying to experience the vibration of an ascended master. Well, if it works for you, fine. But why have we given the dictations and the invocations? Because it does not work for most people. The dictations, the invocations and decrees are tools to help you come to the point where you have purified your mind of the energies and the unresolved psychology so you can begin to experience the Presence of an ascended master. If you can do it without practicing, well then, that is fine. But if you cannot, then we have given the tools that can help you walk a systematic path towards having that connection and that experience.

A dishonest partner and karma

Question: How to deal with a spouse who is the sole bread earner, and his business methods are not entirely honest, as I see it? I discovered ever since I started following the ascended master’s teachings that he is at a lower level of consciousness and has grown up in a worldview that this is okay in business, and that he will not be able to earn his profit if he does not conduct the business dealings a certain way.

I feel like as his wife I am living off his earnings, even though I do not agree to his way of earning it. Do I make karma for this? I made a difficult decision to stay in the relationship for the sake of our disabled child. What do you advise would be the best way to navigate this situation so that I may fulfill my Divine plan, which I sense includes qualifying for my ascension after this lifetime?

You know that we usually do not answer personal questions and tell people how to live their lives, because this is something that must come to you from within. But in this case I will say that clearly your disabled child is part of your life plan, and so you need to evaluate: If you divorce your husband, could you take care of the child while working a job? Or is this a practical reality to stay in the relationship in order to take care of the child? And does the fact that you are in the relationship and therefore do not have to work give you time and energy left over to work on your spiritual goals? In that case you could say that from a practical perspective this is the best possible solution given the situation, also the society in which you live.

Do you make karma for it? Well, that is a subtle question to answer, because if you determine that it is better for your Divine plan to stay in the relationship, then the karma you make is not a major concern. You also need to evaluate what society you are living in and how business is generally conducted there. And if your husband is not doing anything directly illegal, then again, the karma is so small that it will not prevent you from qualifying for your ascension.

But again, you need to decide on your own, and you have made a decision now. It does not mean it has to be for the rest of your life. You can once in a while evaluate: Where do I need to be in order to reach my spiritual goals.

Inequality in the united (North) Korea

Question: Beloved Saint Germain, during the last conference in Korea, I recall from a part of an invocation a warning about the possibility of South Korean companies dominating the North Korean market after reunification. As you mentioned, commercial competition would be meaningless given the far superior capital and expertise of South Korean firms, but economic independence of North Korea will surely benefit North Korea’s long-term growth, autonomy, and integration between the two Koreas. To prevent South Korean dominance, one option can be suggested, implementing a policy that requires establishing joint ventures between South and North Korean firms, capping the South’s stake at 49%. However, would not this arrangement merely create a new privileged class among North Koreans, those fortunate partners chosen by South Korean firms, and thus foster a new financial elite and create inequality within the North Korean people? Furthermore, would such a policy not limit South Korean companies’ right to freely operate their businesses nationwide?

The teaching that was given, was given on the background that in South Korea, you have these virtual business monopolies, the chaebols, sanctioned by the government. And my intent was that this would not be allowed to take over the North Korean market or labor market after reunification. And this would require a softening up of what is happening in South Korea so that the government gave room for smaller companies to spring up. And if this was done, then it could create a change both in North and South Korea, which of course, they would be united after reunification, so that there would be more room for smaller independent businesses.

We understand that after the war, it was a viable model to create these large business conglomerates and give them the dominance that they have had. But we have also said that it would be better even for South Korea to shift away from this and open up more for independent companies. Why? Because independent companies are generally more innovative, whereas the larger companies that have a privileged position are often more concerned about maintaining that position rather than innovating.

There are various ways that this could be done. But let us say that reunification happened. Well, it is clear that there would be a period of increasing inequality in North Korea, because what you have in North Korea today is that you have this typical top-down structure that you see in most communist nations and certainly in all dictatorships, where you have a privileged elite that are loyal to the party or to the dictator, and therefore, given a privileged position, whether they are qualified for it or not. You have this mindset where a large majority of the population are used to just following orders, doing what they are told, and they are not thinking creatively. They are not thinking about how they could improve anything. If you had North Korea freed from the dictatorship, then there would be some people who would step up and become innovative and organize companies. But they would not come from the majority of the population, nor from the privileged elite that supports the leader. They would come from all layers of society, and they would be the ones who would be able to carry it forward.

And because the others are passive, wanting to take orders, yes, of course, the few who take the initiative would make a lot of money, and therefore, clearly, inequality would increase for a period of time. In fact, for more than a generation, because those who have been so pacified by their upbringing, many of those will not be able to change their mindset in this embodiment. But this is just an inevitable consequence of the fact that North Korea is such a repressive society and has been for so long. You see the same pattern in other nations that were freed from the communist yoke.
