What kind of a democracy we want to live in?

Question:  There is an invocation that says, “Help us stop resisting human evil.” Can you discuss this invocation in relation to the resistance movement in America, which is against the efforts of the current government?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Albuquerque (USA) in 2018.

In a sense we have already commented on this by saying that the election of Trump has awakened certain people. Some have gone into a dualistic state of mind, thinking they have to fight him and others have realized that it is a matter of raising the consciousness beyond what they see him as representing. The reality is that if you fight evil you reinforce evil. You are not helping raise the planet above evil by fighting it. You only perpetuate the spiral that keeps evil alive. Those are the teachings we have given on the epic mindset and the epic causes that make you think that it is so necessary to fight evil that it justifies killing other people or in other ways forcing them. This is, of course, not healthy.

What we look for is for people to step up higher and realize that it isn’t so important to oppose Trump or not oppose Trump; it is a matter of identifying what kind of a democracy, what kind of nation, we want to live in. What kind of a consciousness do we not want to dominate our nation and then how do we raise our nation beyond that?

We start by looking at ourselves and raising ourselves beyond that state of consciousness. When we have freed ourselves from that state of consciousness, we might be able to see something that we cannot see today, so that we can actually find a constructive way to work with other people instead of opposing them.

Quite frankly, how long does humankind need to be engaged in this struggle of one group of people opposing another group of people? When do we get to a point where people realize we are in this together?

We can achieve much more if we find a way to work together in a constructive mindset rather than this dualistic clash where we always think that something is right or something is wrong and we have to destroy the evil or we have to win over these other people. It would be the higher outcome of any situation, any conflict situation, if people step up to that level. Again, first look at the beam in your own eye then you will see clearly to help your brother pull out the splinter in his eye.

There is no physical substance, no device or no technique in the physical that can guarantee spiritual growth

Question: I have a question about marijuana. I have read many times that natives have used drugs like peyote and marijuana for religious initiations in their tribes and I wonder if there is any comment on that in relationship to the fallen beings. Is that illusion or is that balanced? 

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Albuquerque (USA) in 2018.

What have we told you in the teachings we have given you? There are four levels of the material universe. In the ideal situation the energy flows from the identity into the mental into the emotional then into the physical. What have we told you in the book My Lives? We have told you that the fallen beings have set up a system on earth where they take control away from you by exposing you to something in the physical octave that creates a reverse energy flow. Ideally nothing that happens in the physical realm should affect your emotional, mental and identity bodies but the fallen beings are experts in creating this reverse energy flow where they can expose you to something in the physical that affects your three higher bodies – torture, trauma, whatever.

So what I am saying here is this: The real key to spiritual growth is to re-establish the natural energy flow where there is nothing in the physical octave that affects your three higher bodies but where your actions in the physical are an expression of what comes through your three higher bodies from your I AM Presence. If there was a physical substance, any kind of substance, any kind of device, any kind of technique in the physical that could guarantee spiritual growth, we would have told you but there isn’t because of the natural energy flow.

There is nothing you can do in the physical that will guarantee your spiritual growth, simply because spiritual mastery means mastery over your four lower bodies. That means mastering your identity body so that it is the one that sends the matrix into your mental body and the mental body sends the matrix into the emotional body and the emotional body sends the matrix into the physical body. There is nothing coming from the physical that is affecting your spiritual expression. That is what it means to be the open door for the I AM Presence. This is what spiritual mastery means.

So answer me this question, my beloved: How will you gain this mastery by using a physical substance? No matter what it is, it isn’t possible. Now this is where it gets complicated because as I have said, there are no black-and-white solutions and explanations in the muddledstate we have on earth. You have a situation where, as Jesus said, the idea, the concept, of a spiritual path has been obliterated from, at least, western cultures. Many, many people have grown up without knowing about this path. Yet they have an inner knowing, an inner sensation, that there must be something beyond their current level of consciousness.

In the 1960s there was a certain critical mass and a shift where more and more people began to reject the materialistic culture. They actually wanted a more spiritual awareness, a more spiritual culture. This was so threatening to the fallen beings that they attempted to do anything they could think of to divert this from becoming a true influence on society. One of the ways they did this was by creating the entire drug culture where they got so many spiritual people to think that drugs were a shortcut to spiritual growth. It ended up taking them into addiction, pacifying them and they didn’t have the influence on society that they could have had.

You can look at some of these people and say that while some got into addiction or got into a lifelong use that pacified them, there were a few that could say, “The drug got me out of my normal state of consciousness and it demonstrated to me that there is something beyond that normal state of consciousness.” This led them to ask, “Well, how can I reach that state of consciousness without the drug?”

If you use it that way then okay, the drug does not have a detrimental impact on you and you can resume your growth. But I submit to you that all people could have attained this without the drug if they had been a little more patient and if they had been more open to finding a path. It was more difficult to find the path in the past but it is easier today and is hopefully becoming easier and easier so that there should be less and less need to use any kind of drug.

The fact of the matter is that many of the native peoples, the shamans, who have used peyote, ayahuasca or other things have not raised their consciousness to a level where they can have contact with the ascended masters. Many of them are working with beings in the emotional realm or the mental realm. So you can say, “What is it I want to attune my mind to? Where do I want to go? Do I want the ascended masters or do I want something lower?”

It is the same with channelers. There are channelers that channel from the mental realm, some even from the emotional, a few from the lower identity realm. What do you want? What kind of teacher do you want? If you have used drugs, don’t condemn yourself. Realize it was a necessary stage of your path but be willing to say; “That doesn’t mean I have to defend it to others.” Don’t export your subjective experience and try to make it universal. Don’t try to defend the drugs or explain them away; just say, “Well, I did it, I needed it. It helped me but now it’s in the past.” Then instead of recommending that other people use the drugs, recommend they use a spiritual teaching. You have at least one that I would recommend but you have many others.

Spiritual perspective on the stock market and financial investments

Question: The masters have said that investing in stocks and bonds is a reflection of the gambling mindset. What is the more productive mindset to have when investing and what are examples of investments that are more aligned with the Golden Age consciousness?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Albuquerque (USA) in 2018.

It is very difficult to give investment advice in the current situation because the entire financial system is so taken over by the fallen beings that almost no matter how you invest, at least in the major financial schemes that they have created, you’re tying yourself to the fallen beings and this is, of course, not productive. There are of course, certain investments that can be made and it is more on the lower level or local level or more direct level. It is not impossible to buy stocks if you are careful in selecting companies that are so small that they have not become major objects for the professional traders.

You will see that originally the stock market was created as a way for people to invest in businesses and get a return in the form of dividends when the company made a profit. This was a way for companies to raise capital for expansion without going through the banks. There are still some companies that are so small that they have not really caught the eye of the Wall Street investors because what the Wall Street investors do, of course, is they don’t care about dividends. They care about inflating the value of a stock so they can get enough people to jump on the bandwagon and buy this stock, not based on the value of the company or the dividends they might get but based on the gambling mindset that the stock will increase in value.

Then of course the traders sell the stock, they artificially lower the value, some people get disillusioned, they sell their stock at a lower value and then the investors buy it again and increase the value and this goes on ad infinitum. Then every time, whether the stock goes up or down the investors are making money and the ordinary people out there are losing money. So you do not want to tie yourself to that.

There are of course other more long-term, more secure investments—various bonds, government bonds and so on—that are more secure. You could say that precious metals are a secure form of investment but not necessarily because even the price of precious metals has been so manipulated by the fallen beings. You will see, for example, in previous decades many ascended master students invested in gold because they felt that if there was a crisis situation then gold would retain its value or go up in value. But for many years and decades it didn’t go up in value because there wasn’t a crisis situation. Then you saw a few years ago that gold did go up and now it has started to go down again.

So there is no safe bet here because everything, almost everything, is manipulated. So you can take the measures I have given you but it actually requires you to study this, to put your attention on this because if you think you can let some hedge fund or other money manager manage your investment then you can be sure that you will be tied into the fallen beings and you might make money but is that really the way you want to make the money, by tying yourself into these schemes?

You see my beloved, I’m not here trying to give you this doomsday prophecy that the markets are going to collapse any minute and you’re going to lose everything. The markets might collapse, as I’ve said, because when you build a financial bubble then that is the only way to get people out of that state of consciousness. But even if the markets don’t collapse and they continue to go up—because you can look back if you take a long-term view of the stock market, you can say that, yes, there was a downturn in 2008 and there was a major crisis. But if you look back thirty years and see that you had bought stock in a certain company thirty years ago, it would have increased tremendously in value. This is of course true but this is an artificial raising of value created by the fallen beings and it has created this entire bubble economy.

As I’m saying, you have to evaluate: Do you want to tie yourself into this? Do you want to be tied to this? It’s not really a matter of whether you lose money or not but it’s a matter of using your discernment and saying, “Is this really congruent with my level of Christ discernment, with my level of consciousness?” There will come a point where it isn’t the most important thing for you to make money. It is to be in alignment in your actions with your state of consciousness.

How to evaluate music and movies

Question:  On a lighter note, is there music that raises the energy besides classical music like Beethoven, Mozart? Could you mention other conscious movies besides “October sky”?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Albuquerque (USA) in 2018.

What I want to give you here is a measure we have given you before. You center in your heart. You can become much better at this if you take what the messenger said about the neutral state of mind because if you can go into a neutral state of mind, center in your heart then you will be able to feel what happens in your aura when you are listening to certain kind of music or watching certain movies. Are the energies being raised in vibration, are they being lowered in vibration? This is the simple measure you can apply to many, many things in life.

I can assure you that not all classical music raises the energies. At the same time there are of course many forms of modern music that will raise the energies. In terms of movies, I am not really the movie critic that spends a lot of time on evaluating this. But again, you just need to look at: is it raising the energies, lowering the energies. But sometimes there can also be a movie that might lower the energies because it has some very dramatic, violent scenes but it still has a message that can be helpful to many people.

This is a more subtle discernment because as the climate is today, as the consciousness is today, you know very well that the movie industry is, first of all, guided by money. They know that in order to make money they are at least, they feel, they think that in order to make money they have to give people a certain kind of thing – there has to be some drama, there has to be some conflict and things have to be more fast-paced than the past movie.

We see that movies and to some degree music, is on the same slide that causes people to go into drug or alcohol addiction. It’s like when people get any influence to a certain degree they start becoming less sensitive to it.

So in order to get a reaction there has to be something more; something more violent, more aggressive. That is why after having smoked marijuana for a while some people need more serious drug to get high. After having watched movies in the 1950s they had to step it up in the 1960s and now they have stepped it up beyond the point of being ridiculous but they can’t figure out how to stop it.

So what I am saying with this, is that sometimes you can watch a movie and you can see that there are certain parts of it that clearly lower your energy. But there may still be a certain message that is valuable to get out to the people.

You can see for example, just to mention one example, how the Matrix movie meant a lot to a lot of people, a lot of spiritual seekers, who found that there was something that resolved in their consciousness by looking at this. They did not take everything as seriously but yet it had a lot of violent scenes in it and it essentially presents the universe as a machine. This of course is not the highest understanding but nevertheless, did the movie help some people? Yes it did and so with other movies.

You can see in the popular Star Wars movies that (especially the original ones) had a certain message that resonated with a lot of people but also, of course, had a lot of violent scenes in it but still had a certain portrayal of dark forces and their influence. But of course presented, what is the solution – well, pull out your light sabre and (audience responds with gentle laughter) kill them. That of course is not exactly what the Ascended Masters teach.

But again, the solution here is not that we provide you with a list of music to listen to or a list of movies to watch. But that you watch movies or listen to music as an opportunity to increase your discernment by feeling in your heart what it does to your energies.

How to evaluate if a person is suited for holding public office

Question: We may soon have a new Supreme Court justice who has been accused by three women of sexual misconduct while under the influence of alcohol when he was a youth. So my question has to do with Christ consciousness and forgiveness. On one hand I can see if I were in that position that because this is the highest judicial position in the land, it would be my obligation to bring up some issues of past conduct that might impact on this judge’s decision that could reach for generations. On the other hand my Christ discernment might tell me this misconduct happened in the past, if it did or not, my position should be one of forgiveness and letting go. So I’m trying to determine what would a woman do in this position with Christ consciousness. What is our obligation to the whole and when is it right to just forgive and to let it go?

An important question, my beloved. The evaluation that you need to make is not a matter of forgiving somebody for what they did in the past, it’s a matter of evaluating – as we have said many times – the person did what he or she did because the person was in a certain state of consciousness.

Has the person now transcended that state of consciousness? In that case it is not really a matter of forgiveness – it is matter of accepting that person has moved on, the person is no longer the same person that did this. But if the person has not done this, then it isn’t really a matter of forgiving either. It is a matter of accepting that person is unsuited for holding office.

You have to recognize that in the present situation in America – and this ties in with my previous answer that people have been brought up to have no purpose, to have no sense of long term consequences and they don’t have a spiritual path to follow. So in the present situation in America, you have to accept a simple fact; if you were to only elect people to public office who had never done anything stupid in the past then the Senate and Congress and the White House would be empty (laughter).

This is just a reality and that is why you have to look at what we have told you about yourselves – not to condemn yourself for what you have done in the past but to be willing to look at yourself and rise above that state of consciousness. But of course you don’t have that awareness as common awareness in the United States so you don’t have a culture where people are looking at their past mistakes and seeking to rise above their consciousness.

What you instead have is that you have many people who want to hide their past mistakes, as you have seen with the whole issue of Hollywood directors. They want to hide it and then when they start coming into the public eye they want to continue to hide it and if they can’t hide it, as it is becoming more and more difficult now for some of these people, they want to create the impression that they have changed, that this is behind them.

Talking the talk does not qualify you to one of the highest offices in the land but as you can clearly see, both in this last election and other elections; it doesn’t prevent you from being elected to a certain office. So this is one of the dilemmas facing the American nation right now. It really can only be resolved by raising Christ discernment – and this of course is not something that will help you with the selection of this latest supreme court judge or with the mid-term election because you cannot expect the majority of the American people to make this leap – but just for yourselves, you can train yourself to look at a person, to look beyond the outer appearance and you can come to read the vibration of the person.

Has the person actually put that state of consciousness behind him or her that caused these violations in the past? – you can read that as a vibration. If that is the case then of course the person should not be prevented from holding an office because what actually helps people serve well in a public office is that they have been like normal human beings and they know what normal human beings are going through and therefore they can relate to the people.

You have the old system of a ruling elite, that was born into an elite position and has never been among the normal people and of course they wouldn’t be able to run a democratic nation in an ideal way. So you cannot apply this as you sometimes see the Christians in America of this very black and white judgement, that anybody who has done any transgression in the past should automatically be excluded from office. The irony of course is how many Christian ministers have been exposed as having done inappropriate things – not just Catholic ministers but look at some of the high profile Protestant ministers that have also been exposed in having engaged in inappropriate sexual behaviour or other forms of inappropriate behaviour.

For that matter, any Christian minister who has created a church and enriched himself to become a millionaire is engaged in inappropriate behaviour. You can look at some of the leaders of these mega churches and see that this is not at all what Jesus admonished his disciples to do, so in a bigger picture, there’s no solution here short term. The only solution is again, you do what you can do to increase your Christ discernment and pull up on the collective consciousness. There will of course come a point where the process for electing someone to one of these higher offices will be very, very different because it will be exercised by people who have genuine Christ discernment.

What you have now in these election committees is that you have people who, most of them, have also engaged in some form of inappropriate conduct and they of course are seeking to hide that while trying to expose it in someone else – so you are talking about a bunch of hypocrites who, in many cases are evaluating another hypocrite who is seeking to hide his behaviour. There’s no short term solution to that but there is a long term solution in the raising of consciousness but it will not come from above – you cannot expect the leaders to do this. It has to be a raising of the collective where enough people, the critical mass that we are always talking about, demand a higher form of leadership than this. At the same time, they not only demand it, they have the Christ discernment to evaluate when they get it and when they don’t get it.

Higher perspective on marijuana legalisation

Question: I noticed that the masters didn’t comment on personal drug use and alcohol use but there have been some marijuana legalisations in America – for one instance Colorado – and I was wondering if they could comment on that – both medical and recreational.

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Albuquerque (USA) in 2018.

Again, as Saint Germain expressed, there are no simple solutions to many of the issues that come up on Earth. Saint Germain is the ascended master who carries the flame of freedom. If you take that freedom to its extreme, you must respect free will and say Earth is a planet that is designed to give people a certain range of experiences. So anybody on Earth should be allowed to have any experience that is available on this planet if they think they need it and be allowed to have it for as long as they need it, until they’ve had enough of it. So from this overall perspective, you can say people should be allowed to take whatever drugs they want if that’s what they feel they need.

People should be allowed to have an abortion if that is what they feel they need and this is true, this is the case because free will is absolute. However the question is – how free is people’s will? How aware are they of the options they have and the consequences of those options? In other words, how can people really exercise their free will if they have a very limited understanding of the options that are available to them and the consequences it has?

In the present situation, it’s clear that many, many people are using alcohol and drugs as an escape mechanism. Why are they doing this? Because as Jesus said earlier, they have not been brought up with the understanding that there is a systematic path for raising your consciousness. As a result of this, many people don’t have a sense of purpose to their lives – they don’t have a sense that they have a goal that they can go somewhere and that their lives matter. They think, “I’m a nobody, nobody cares about me, it doesn’t matter, I’m not going to live beyond this lifetime so whatever I do here, it just doesn’t have any long-term consequences, so I can do whatever feels good.”

That’s why many people get into alcohol and drugs but of course that is a very limited viewpoint, which is forced upon the people by the fallen beings, precisely in order to open them up to these kind of addictive substances so that they take it and so that the fallen beings can then milk them for their energy and get them into a downward spiral where they eventually end up destroying their lives.

We can of course say, “well, why is alcohol legal and drugs illegal?” That’s a valid question to ask. I’m not thereby saying that a society should outlaw alcohol and all kinds of drugs but it is a peculiar inconsistency that society is well aware of the detrimental psychological and physical effects of alcohol but still allows it, as they allow tobacco and they don’t allow certain other substances.

I do not wish to go into a discussion here because I know there are some people who are very attached to defending the legalisation of marijuana and arguing endlessly why it isn’t so bad but the fact is, it is an addictive substance. It does have the effect of putting you in a state of mind where you’re not fully in control of your faculties. You become very, very open to entities and demons in the emotional realm who can insert hooks into your aura. It is often a gateway drug to more severe drugs that have even more effects and so forth and so on.

It is clear that the people who are making a choice to use these substances are not making a fully aware choice. They are not in a state of mind where they have an awareness that life has a purpose and that taking these substances only slows down their growth and diverts them from their growth paths because they are not on a growth path. They don’t see it that way.

What I am saying here is, that when you have a society where people have a higher awareness of the purpose of life, the mechanics of how human psychology works, they have a sense of purpose, then they can be given the freedom to choose whatever they want but until then, this is not really giving them freedom. It is giving them freedom to go into addiction and become a slave by an addiction. But is that freedom?

So again, you know we are looking at democratic nations and seeing them as a teaching device. So whatever a majority of the people vote, that is what they need to experience. Some states have voted to legalise marijuana and so they need to have that experience and hopefully there will be a willingness to look at the consequences and how has this affected people, what are the psychological effects, what are the physical effects and therefore evaluate whether this was a good idea or whether it wasn’t, what is it costing society, what is it costing the individual? And again, this of course needs to be compared with, what are the effects of alcohol, what is that costing society, what is that costing the individual, how’s that impacting families?

This may lead eventually to a higher awareness, where you realise that the best way to deal with this whole issue is actually to look at, as we have said before, what does it take for a human being to function psychologically and what can we then do to educate people so that they know enough about how the human psyche works that they can put their lives on a positive track and not be diverted by this or that or the next thing. That is why we have said before that the next step for many of the more evolved countries in the world is really to no longer focus on material wealth or welfare but to focus on psychological wellbeing and psychological welfare.

How to deal with mosquitoes, mice and flies on food – be practical!

Question: Please share a peaceful reaction or alternative action to biting mosquitoes, mice in the house and flies on food.

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Albuquerque (USA) in 2018

Well I certainly understand the question given that I was in embodiment at an age where you do not even have some of the remedies you have in today’s age and I can assure you that flies on the food was a particular aversion of mine. You can of course look at this from an overall perspective and say, these kinds of annoyances are a reflection of humankind having gone into duality. This is very true but how does that help you today? Of course you can go into saying that if you raise your consciousness to a certain level – like you see for example the book of Yogananda where his guru told him to get beyond the mosquito consciousness – and you can say there is some truth to that but nevertheless how does that help you today?

So truly the only practical advice I have, is to look at the practical physical measures you have available to you and make use of them. Cover your windows with some kind of screen, keep your kitchen as clean as possible, if you have a problem with mice there is a mouse trap that is spelled C A T and other measures like this.

The question really brings up something because of course you can take any issue, any problem on Earth and you can look for a spiritual reason why this is there. You can try to look for a spiritual solution but there are many, many problems on Earth where this isn’t the most constructive approach. Simply look for the most practical physical solution, implement that and then try to be non-attached to the issue. Do what you can do and then don’t let it bother you. Don’t focus on it because the more you focus on it the worse you make it. That goes for many, many issues in the physical realm.

I understand very well my beloved, that when you find a spiritual path, you want to look for a spiritual explanation and also a spiritual solution but you have to realise that everything is a matter of alpha and omega. There are certain problems where in the long term there is a spiritual solution to mosquitoes and it is to raise the collective consciousness to where mosquitoes can no longer exist on the planet but that solution is not very practical for you right now and therefore you need to take practical measures right now.

There is a story that was told in a previous dispensation of a person who was driving on a freeway and had a flat tire and this was before the age of cell phones, so he didn’t have the option to call the towing company, so he sat in his car and decreed thinking that if he decreed then some miraculous solution would manifest and it took him three hours to realize that that wasn’t gonna happen. So he got out of his car and was waving his hand to get somebody to stop and help him but why should it take you three hours to come to that realization and just implement the practical solution and get on with life?

So many times spiritual people can become almost too focused on providing spiritual solutions to every problem that they almost magnify the problem, instead of just simply saying, “Let’s get practical, let’s take the most practical measures and then let’s not let the problem bother us anymore.”

It is very important to realise what kind of a planet you are on and that’s why again the My Lives book is so important because it gives you the concept of a natural and unnatural planet. For most spiritual people you have some inner awareness of how life should be on a natural planet, you are applying this to Earth and you are seeing that there shouldn’t be mosquitoes, there shouldn’t be mice, there shouldn’t be flies on my food, I should be able to live without this. You’re perfectly right, if you’re on a natural planet but you are not on a natural planet, so do a reality check, realise what kind of planet you are on and don’t look for spiritual solutions to practical problems. Find the most available practical solution, implement it and then move on with life.

Addiction is a symptom, not a problem itself

Question: What are the spiritual and psychological ramifications of becoming intoxicated with alcohol or drugs and what are some things that we should keep in mind if a loved one is addicted to alcohol or drugs.

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Albuquerque (USA) in 2018

We have given you the teachings that everything revolves around free will. We have told you that ultimately you, which ideally is the Conscious You, is in charge of deciding you have the authority of deciding what enters your four lower bodies; however the fallen beings have of course never paid much attention to the law of free will except in order to learn how to violate it. They have found various ways to put people in a state where they allow something to enter their four lower bodies either without realising that it is happening or without understanding exactly what is happening.

So the moment you take alcohol or drugs, you are going out of your normal state of awareness, which of course is the whole point of taking them but nevertheless what happens here is that then your conscious mind is not able to exercise its normal discernment as to what enters your four lower bodies. This means you become much more open, much more vulnerable to the dark forces who are constantly seeking to enter those four lower bodies.

Now I’m not going to say here that this starts when you drink alcohol – for most people it has started before – because I am not trying to give you the impression that if you don’t drink alcohol or take drugs then the fallen beings cannot enter your four lower bodies. That isn’t the case. They have found many other ways including many subtle ways to gain access or to send some kind of arrow or insert some kind of hook into your four lower bodies. So for many people, there is already a certain inroad for the fallen beings before they start drinking or taking drugs. That is actually why they make that decision to cross that line and use these substances and it is especially what causes them to go through that sometimes gradual, sometimes abrupt, slide of becoming addicted to them.

So you could say that the fallen beings already have some hooks in people’s auras otherwise they wouldn’t have become addicted. But once you are addicted, of course, the fallen beings have much more of an inroad and that’s why an addiction often becomes a downward spiral that people cannot stop until they, as the saying goes, hit rock bottom and now finally decide they have to change something. They have to try and gain some control of their lives again.

It isn’t just so simple that you can say to people, “Well, abstain from alcohol and drugs and you’ll be okay.” That is why it is also so that few people have used alcohol and drugs and perhaps had been addicted to it, there is no reason to condemn yourself for this. You need to look at what it was that caused you to be vulnerable to this – what was it in your consciousness. We have of course given you many tools for this and I would quite frankly recommend that anybody who has been addicted to anything really would read the My Lives book because this is an opportunity for you to go through a lot of healing that can help you deal with why you became vulnerable to this.

You see that alcohol and drugs will reinforce people’s downward slide or even put them in a downward spiral but there was already some influence by the fallen beings or people would not have gone into a state of addiction. In order to be free of this it is not enough to get to a point as, for example, certain programs say where, “You’re clean, you’re sober,” – that is not enough. It is not enough to force yourself to abstain. You need to look at the psychology behind it and resolve that psychology. Then you are free.

Saint George and the concept of saints in the Catholic Church

Question: Since the 3. century there appeared in the church the figure of St. George. His life looked like a legend, like a myth and his veneration or rather his worship spread all over the church. Christians ask for his protection and his intercession more than Jesus, Mother Mary or Archangel Michael. What is the truth behind the appearance of St. George’s life and the phenomenon of spreading his fame and veneration, especially in the Eastern Church? Also please comment on the veneration of the saints more than Jesus today.

We have given many teachings on the influence of the fallen beings in Christianity and I talked about this earlier that they want to put me up on the pedestal as being beyond the reach of the people and the effect of this has been that of course the people find it more difficult to relate to me because if I was the only Son of God and was God from the beginning and all of this stuff then I am as unreachable as the remote God in the sky that has been worshipped now for thousands of years. This created a gap in the church and the fallen beings were smart enough to realise this, so that is why they created the whole concept of saints that people can pray to.

Now if you look at it from a certain perspective you can say that the idea of the saints could be used to illustrate that other people could also have qualified for their ascension and could therefore have become ascended masters as a result of following the teachings of Christ but this is not how it is used in the Catholic Church. It is used to say that these people can do something for you and since they are closer to you than God and Jesus you can pray to them as intermediaries. This is largely an illusion because most of the saints – the vast majority of the saints revered by both the Catholic church and the Eastern Orthodox – are not ascended masters, they do not have the power to answer people’s prayers.

I do have a certain power to answer people’s prayers but on the other hand I am not Santa Claus. I do not give you what you ask for if what you ask for will not help you grow. I am not a wish fulfilling ascended master as of course the Creator is not a wish fulfilling deity. This is a concept created by the fallen beings to really divert people’s attention. It would be constructive for them to pray to me but it would be more constructive for them to pray to help them see what they need to overcome in order to grow. But again, they cannot do that because, what did I say this morning? The Catholic Church has taken out the concept of a gradual path where you are in control of raising your consciousness.

Now there are many Christians who, because they cannot feel that I am as approachable, they can pray to Mother Mary. She is of course an ascended master and so again this is more constructive. St. George, well, he was just a saint like so many others. There is a certain symbolism in him slaying the dragon because it is a symbol for slaying the ego, the carnal mind, the not-self, the dweller on the threshold, whatever you want to call it. So you can say there is a symbolism in his life but that would not work if people prayed to him to do something for them but only if they look at that as an example of how they can slay the dragon in their own psyche.

Of course that concept has also been suppressed in the Catholic church. There is very little value in people praying to the saints. There is value in people praying to Mother Mary even though they also see her as a saint but she is of course far more than that. There are a few other saints who have ascended: Francis of Assisi (Kuthumi) and others but nevertheless, what is the value in general of people praying to a saint to give them this or that – even to give them protection? It would be more constructive to pray to Archangel Michael for protection but even more constructive to actually invoke the light of Archangel Michael as you have been taught to do.

So it is largely an attempt by the fallen beings where they know that everything that they do has an effect. They know that people have certain needs and desires, so they know that the moment they put me up on a pedestal the Church – based on this image of Christ – will find it difficult to meet people’s needs, certain needs and so they create this concept of saints so that it diverts people. They think there is somebody whom they can pray to but they are not praying to the one who might actually be able to help them, namely myself – another clever plot of the fallen beings, another diversionary tactic on their part.

Truly it would be constructive to let go of all of the saints and replace it with a concept that certain people can ascend. Of course, I realize that this cannot be done within the context of the Eastern Orthodox or the Catholic churches because their leaders are so out of touch with who I am that they would not be able to tune in and know who has truly ascended and become an ascended master. For them to do this they will have to recognise ascended masters and of course one of the major tactics of the fallen beings for a very, very long time has been to obliterate the knowledge of ascended masters – to prevent people from having the knowledge of the ascended masters. That is why you could say that the concept of the saints is really an attempt to give people something but something that actually hides the truth about ascended masters.

The political issues of the nation and its collective consciousness

Question: The Christians of this country didn’t seem excessively judgemental on our big chief celebrity. Christians were a major force that voted Trump into office even though he had a history that was not very close to the standards of modern Christianity. What would one or all of the ascended masters say about the largest American celebrity in the last fifty years –  Trump?

My beloved, I have commented earlier on the election and said that it doesn’t really matter so much to us who is president of the United States and one of the reasons of course is we know the Constitution and we know that the president has his powers limited by the Constitution for a very good reason – so that he cannot become a dictator.

Much of the focus of the entire election campaign around the president is so off balance because apparently the media in this nation has decided to ignore the Constitution and therefore, in their quest to create a sensation, they have built up the president to be some kind of god who, once he is sworn into office, has god-like powers to take this nation wherever he wants and that is a blatant ignoring of the facts of the Constitution.

Many Americans have been misled by this into thinking that it has a major impact on the nation and that it makes a huge difference to the nation whether this person or that person is elected president. We know, of course, that it makes not that big of a difference because the president’s powers are limited.

He is not the CEO of a privately owned company who can do whatever he wants and has god-like powers, which of course has been the greatest shock for Donald Trump to realise this, which he in some ways had not fully realised. He is still suffering from the illusion that he can do whatever he wants as president.

Every president, except a few who already realised it before they were elected, has had to come to this realisation that there isn’t that much you can do; you are sort of a front figure – the nation’s face to the world or the government’s face to the people – but your powers are really not that great. You realise of course that the current president has a desire to get attention and to build a certain self-image of being important and being a great president and so forth and so on. I think the best I could do for him personally was to not feed that and therefore I do not have very many comments on this. It is not so important; it is far more important what actually happens in Congress and the Senate but it is even more important what happens among the people.

We have seen a certain polarisation among the people because of Trump’s election. This has had both a positive and a not-so-positive effect. There are some people who have been awakened by Trump being elected to the point where they feel they have to do something, they have to get elected or they have to get involved with the political process.

In a sense I am always positive when people wake up and get involved because nothing is more dangerous to a democracy than apathy among the people. There are some people who have responded to the very dualistic statement, the black and white statements, made by Donald Trump and they have then seen it as their role to oppose him in any way they can. This is not the response we are looking for but there are other people who have been awakened and simply decided, “We have to get involved because we have to get beyond this black and white thinking and the very simplistic proposal of solutions to problems without actually understanding the problems fully.”

This is a positive trend and if this could grow it could have a positive impact that isn’t really related to Donald Trump as such but related to the fact that if people get involved with government and start making their voices heard, that is one of the few things that has a realistic chance of changing America in a positive direction.

As I have said before, whichever president gets elected, there is always the expression of a certain consciousness among the people and therefore the president represents a state of consciousness and it is an opportunity for the people to see the out-picturing of that state of consciousness. We are looking at what does this do in terms of helping the people see what works and what doesn’t work, what they want and what they don’t want in their nation.

We have said it before and I will probably say it again during one of my dictations but we are not looking so much for a particular result to be manifest in America, we are looking for the growth of the consciousness of the American people. That is why when a president is elected we of course accept that as the process, the political process was, this was the person that got elected and then we are looking at how can we help Americans learn the lesson they can learn from this and therefore take the nation forward, take the collective consciousness forward.

There are many things I could say but I do not feel they are relevant because I am happy enough to allow people to respond to this president any way they want. I’m not going to make a statement about this or that because it is okay for me, it is acceptable to me that all people, including students of the ascended masters, respond based on their present level of consciousness and their present level of understanding.

What I will say of course is, refer to the many teachings we have given and realise that the people who think in black and white terms – or at least who express themselves in black and white terms – often have a simplified view of the issues.

One of the things that it would be helpful for people to realise, probably especially for ascended master students, is that America is a big country that has very complex issues because of its size because of the diversity of its population. There are no simple solutions, my beloved. I know that if you go back to previous ascended master dispensations, you can even point to dictations given by me and those dispensations and say did I not present a certain problem as being very simple and having a very clear-cut solution? And that is true but that was a previous dispensation where we could give only teachings to a certain level.

We are now giving teachings at a higher level and at a higher level you realise that issues are more complex than you thought previously. There is a point, as this messenger expressed earlier, where you have awakened to the spiritual path and you are suddenly seeing a lot of things you didn’t see before and you are overwhelmed by how much you have seen.

So you go through a phase where you want to get beyond that sense of being overwhelmed and in order to do this you start looking for some very simple, clear-cut solutions. This is right, this is wrong, we should do this: we should do that. But as I said, once you step beyond that, once as Jesus expressed it, once you reach the higher levels of Christhood and expand your discernment you begin to see that issues are more complex, they are more interconnected. You cannot just take a single issue out and then say that if we deal with this we will solve the major problems of the nation. This is not Christ discernment.

And that is why what we are hoping to guide you towards here is this understanding that there are very, very complex problems or issues in this nation. They are all interconnected because they are all expressions of various aspects of this collective consciousness. So you cannot simply look at one issue, focus your attention on that and think that this will actually, dealing with that issue, solve anything. For example foreigners coming into this country, they are not the problem in America. So if you portray that aliens, whether illegal or otherwise, are the problem and if we just shut them out by building a wall, we have solved the problem, you have oversimplified the problem to a degree that is simply not going to be effective – it cannot provide an effective solution.

We could say here that if you want to look at America, there is a certain group of problems that are attracting a lot of attention both in the media, in the political circles, and among the people but they are not consequential problems, they are diversionary, they actually divert attention away from the deeper, underlying issues. So dealing with these superficial problems is not going to provide the kind of solutions that Americans are actually looking for – they just don’t know they are looking for them but they are looking for something new. It was this “looking for something new” that made some people respond to Trump’s message but they are going to be, most of them, disappointed as some of them already have become disappointed because they realise that his solutions cannot actually solve the problems, cannot really bring America forward.

That is why, in order to avoid them becoming disillusioned with the political process, they need to step up and look away from the inconsequential problems and look at the deeper issues, which of course is what I aim to bring out in my comments in this conference.

To all students from non-English speaking countries: learn English

Question: This question is for Saint Germain about the monopoly of the Novosibirsk Group on the translation and distribution of the teachings released through Kim. Beloved Saint Germain is this your idea? Do you support it? What is the point? Are you satisfied with the results? What can you advise to the students who do not speak English and are in fact deprived of the opportunity to receive in the foreseeable future the teachings that you Ascended Masters released through Kim?

My advice to the students who do not feel they are receiving the teachings fast enough in a Russian translation is simple: learn English. My advice to all spiritual students and all ascended master students in all non-English speaking countries is:

learn English!

We have given teachings through several dispensations now that can all be valuable to ascended master students and you cannot expect that they in the near future will all be translated into your language. So if you are serious about studying ascended master teachings, learn English. It will also benefit you and your life and your career because the world is quickly moving into English becoming more and more dominant and it is clearly already the international language. So learning English will open up options to you, not only in your spiritual growth but also in your practical life.

You must recognize here that we are satisfied with the Novosibirsk Group and their progress. Naturally things could be done faster but they also have to be done in a practical realistic way. When we give some people an opportunity, we give them of course some leeway on how they deal with this, given their practical situation.

So my advice to the Russian students is: stop feeling like victims, stop feeling that you are being deprived of anything. Make yourself the best possible use of the teachings that are translated into Russian and if you want them faster then learn English.

There are enough teachings translated into Russian already that you can make very significant progress by embodying those teachings but you will not embody those teachings with the attitude behind this question. You will simply keep yourself at a certain level until you let go of what we might call the victim consciousness or the combative consciousness, where you are constantly projecting out, seeking to find fault with others, seeking to split hairs about the wording of the teaching, always being in is this very detail-oriented consciousness of always looking for something that is wrong.

Listen to what we have been saying during this conference and make use of the teachings that are already translated and then you will make progress. When you make progress these questions will fade away and become obsolete.

Freedom of press and internet in Russia

Question: The question is about the issue of free access to the internet in Russia. The latest cases that have occurred in Russia are in connection with blocking of the messenger/telegram and many other websites have been blocked. The government plans further interference in the internet and further control over the information published. Is this a threat to people and their freedom? Is this a threat to peoples’ freedom? Is there any chance of some favourable development to this situation?

Well, of course it is a threat to their freedom because what is it that should make you free? Well, it has traditionally been seen as the truth. So naturally what has happened in Russia is that the democratic freedoms have been undermined. You clearly see how freedom of the press has been basically aborted and you see therefore that not only in Russia but also in for example China, governments are working very, very hard to limit peoples free access to the internet.

This by the way is another reason for Russian ascended master’s students to learn English. If you can speak English you have access to more information on the internet and it will be more difficult to block it. Is there a chance of a positive development? Well, it would require the Russian people to stand up to the authorities and protest against limiting the access to information and demand more access to information. Is this likely to happen? Well, not in the immediate future. It will probably require a more severe situation before the Russian people decide that they have had enough of the current form of government.

Karmic groups and marriages with close relatives

Question: In many cultures in the Western nations in the past there was a phenomenon where there were marriages between close relatives, e.g. brothers marrying sisters or cousins etc. Would the ascended masters comment on it?

This phenomenon is simply an expression of the fact that there is a tendency for karmic groups to form. Where groups – family groups have karma with each other. If they are not willing to resolve it then they can become more and more tightly enmeshed with each other. This is what then gives rise to this phenomenon of marriages with close relatives.

It is also what can lead to the sexual abuse of children by parents and other unhealthy phenomena in the family. So the rise of it in Islamic Culture is certainly something to make calls on if you live in such a culture. It is really just another example of how people sometimes need to take things to the extreme before they find some greater balance. You will realise that one of the ways to help people in such karmic groups progress is when they marry someone from another family that isn’t from the same karmic group. Therefore they get another perspective on life.

By allowing this inter-marriage of close relatives you reinforce the very tight family or tight karmic group and make it more difficult for people to escape.

Extreme forms of Islam in Kazakhstan

Question: Recently there has been a tendency in Kazakhstan and in Central Asian Countries that many people have decided to follow an extreme way of Islam. Such as men growing long beards or women who are covered from head to toe in the hajib that is not normal for Kazakh culture and tradition. Is this phenomenon potentially dangerous for Kazakhstan and for the Central Asian Countries?

Yes, naturally this is not a development that we encourage in any way but the only way to explain it is to say that again sometimes people have to outplay things to the extreme before they see that it is unbalanced and come to a greater sense of balance.

If you feel concerned about this, you can make calls for the binding and judgement of the dark forces behind the entire phenomenon of fundamentalist Islam or other extreme forms of Islam and for that matter, any extreme form of any religion.

The teachings about the history of the planet earth in a fiction book form?

Question: Do the ascended masters plan to publish something like a history text book from their perspective? In official history everything is represented as a linear continuous development – how is this seen from your perspective, in particular regarding the history of Lemuria, Atlantis and such? Will it be useful for us to know the history of these civilizations from your perspective?

We are naturally planning to give more teachings about the history of this planet including past civilizations. This may in the beginning be given in a more fictional form in order to give people an easier transition from the materialistic view of history. I will not give you a timetable on when this will be done; I will not even say whether this will be done through this messenger or in other ways.

Naturally as we progress, more and more will be revealed about the past of this planet. What we do plan to do is to give more teachings at some point on the fact that history has not been a linear process. In order to give people a foundation for understanding this we have to give people a variety of teachings so it will take some time to set the foundation for this.

Using leeches for healing

Question: Nowadays in alternative medicine some healers in their practices use leeches to treat some diseases. Is this treatment using leeches, acceptable?

Well, it is a practice that has been used for centuries. During the middle ages it was used for example in Europe by many monks when they attempted to cure various diseases relating to the blood. So it is not so that it cannot have a positive affect. Whether it is acceptable to you is of course up to you to decide individually. I am not trying to present this as a cure for all but on the other hand it can in some cases be less invasive and have less side affects than what materialistic medicine has come up with.

Artificial intelligence will not slow the progression of the planet

Question: Nowadays there is an intensive introduction of artificial intelligence in people’s everyday life. Artificial intelligence has the ability to self learn and already in many cases surpasses the intellect and some abilities of man. Is there any fear that the use of artificial intelligence by humans will slow the growth of the consciousness of the individual as well as the growth overall of the collective consciousness of the people of the planet?

Artificial intelligence is a complex topic that I do not want to discourse on in depth at this time. What I can say specifically is that artificial intelligence of course has nothing whatsoever to do with self awareness and you will never be able to create a machine that is self aware despite what some scientists dream about doing or even claim to have achieved.

Artificial intelligence can be abused by some people to slow their growth by them not taking responsibility for themselves but overall I do not see a threat that it will slow the progression of the planet and the collective consciousness. It is however something that has a potential to be used as a positive tool at least until we have reached a level where people can begin to unlock the mental capacities that have not yet been unlocked in most people on the planet.

The average level of collective consciousness of the planet

Question: What is the average level of collective consciousness on the planet based on the scale of the 144 levels?

Well, you have to realize that the collective consciousness even though we may have given you that impression, is not a uniform thing. It varies around the planet, the collective consciousness of different countries is very different. I can give you an average of the entire planet but it is almost meaningless because, what does it help you do?

What you need to focus on is primarily on your own area and seek to raise the collective consciousness there. I do not really at this point want to go into going around all of the countries of the world and giving you the average level of consciousness for each country. What I can say is that if you want to look at the entire planet, step back and look at an average for the collective consciousness, it has gone above the 48th level but not much.

Allergies of preschool children

Question: Regarding allergies of preschool children, in Jesus’ answer about allergies he said that the understanding of the true origin of allergies is psychological due to a traumatic experience that causes the soul to develop fear of a particular substance or condition. Since the only way to completely solve the problem is to use psychological techniques to enter the depth of the psyche and heal the initial trauma, how can this be done with preschool children?

It cannot really be done with the current tools that are available in psychology. There may at some point be brought forth tools that are more aimed at working with children but there is not much you can do there. You can decree for your children and call for their protection.

You can use of course whatever physical measures are available to alleviate an allergy or at least reduce the symptoms. You need to simply allow the children to grow to an age where they are able to take more responsibility for their individual path and begin to work on their psychology. The best you could do to facilitate that process is to walk the path yourself and work on your own psychology. As best you can, share that process with your children so they have seen you doing it and look at it as something natural.

Children and presence of ascended masters

Question: My daughter and I have given decrees to Archangel Michael (the ones from the Summit Lighthouse). She likes it and she wants more and she wants actually to see Archangel Michael. What would you recommend, how would you recommend to proceed? How can I advise my child to see Archangel Michael?

Well if she asks for more then give her more. If she wants to see Archangel Michael just advise her to go into her heart and ask if Archangel Michael will show himself to her. Sometimes children are able to go out of the linear mind which adults are not always able to do and see us. Many young children actually do see us without necessarily realizing who or what we are.

Children and using spiritual tools

Question: It was noticed that when reading the decrees to Archangel Michael and also during giving vigils with Kuan Yin the reaction at home by preschool children is fear and rejection of these spiritual practices. They say “Mum, do not read this.” Is this a projection of the dark forces acting through children? What should we do in such cases?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Kazakhstan in 2018

It is largely a projection by dark forces but in some cases it is also the children who themselves feel uncomfortable with the light. What you can do is make calls for your children to be protected, to be cut free from any dark forces. I also advocate that if possible you go to a place where the children cannot hear it and give the decrees – so as to not stir up energies that they find it difficult to deal with.

When it comes to your children, you need to have a certain amount of patience and not seek to force them. There are in the past many ascended master students who have had the determination that their children should be as eager about the path as they were themselves. This has in many cases interfered with the free will of the children. The parents didn’t realize that as they themselves had not been forced to engage in the path but had discovered it on their own, their children needed to be given the same opportunity. This doesn’t mean that you don’t explain to your children what you are doing and why you are doing it but it does mean that you do not force your children. You can of course also explain to the children why you are giving these decrees and that Archangel Michael wants to protect them from any dark forces or anything they are afraid of. This might help in some cases but then again there is no method I can give you that will work for all.  So you need to experiment with your individual child.

Children’s interest in dinosaurs

Question: Why are today’s children, including children with Downs syndrome very interested in dinosaurs and other reptiles, using them in their games instead of dolls? What is behind this? And should parents do something about this?

What parents can do is to encourage their children to be interested in other things. The problem is that currently it would mean the children being interested in other things that are not of the highest nature, such as super heroes or cartoon characters or whatever you have. So I realize this is a difficult situation and the best you can really do for your children is to encourage them to find other things to be interested in that are of a more constructive nature. This depends on your local culture of what is available. There is not just one reason why some children today are interested in this. One reason is that today’s children are generally more curious about many topics than previous generations of children.

There are also many children that come in today that have a certain inner sense that certain manifestations on earth are not the highest possible – are not balanced. So as long as the child is young and has a limited understanding with the outer mind, it can have a fascination with a topic because the child wants subconsciously to understand more about the topic. So there are certain children that come in today who have more of an interest in understanding the history of the earth and for example why there were dinosaurs on the earth.

This really is an expression of a certain level of spiritual development where they desire to understand why things are the way they are on earth. Why there are so many manifestations that are unbalanced including why there are so many animal species that are either ugly or poisonous or so forth. From a positive standpoint we could say that these children are interested to learn as much as possible about the earth and the history of the earth. Some children also have a tie to the astral plane but many are driven by this desire to understand. So what you can do is – you can try to encourage your child to understand as much about life as possible.

Kazakhstan’s international presence in the world

Question: What is the problem of the modern Kazakhstan? Is there a demographic problem? Kazakhstan has a very small population but its territory is very large also Kazakhstan is very rich in resources that are desired by its neighbours, the two superpowers Russia and China. Is there something in the national psychology of the Kazakh people which makes this nation vulnerable? How do we overcome the demographic problem for Kazakhstan?

Well the demographic problem is of course not something you can overcome because you can’t change the demographics unless of course you give away territory to your neighbours and the country becomes smaller. That is of course not what I envision. What I envision is that gradually as the collective consciousness is raised there will be an emergence of a stronger national identity but at a much higher level than has been there before. This will allow the Kazakh people to become a self-governing nation with a strong enough national sense of identity that they will not be overrun by their neighbours.

I will say that, in this respect it is important that you open more ties to the West and that you continue the transition already begun by the current President especially in terms of adopting the Latin alphabet and other changes that opens up Kazakhstan to having more of an international presence. The reason why I say this is that the situation is in a sense, very clear. What can prevent Kazakhstan from being interfered with by its big neighbours in the future is a more international awareness. In other words that the international community around the world becomes more aware of Kazakhstan as a nation, more aware of the Kazakh people’s right to live in their own country without being dominated by Russia or China.

Now my beloved, whatever you may think of your current President, let me tell you that if you had not had a dominant, strong President that could hold Russia and China at bay, you would already have had much more interference from your two big neighbours than you have. You could say that even because of the threat of interference from the North and the South, Kazakhstan needed this very strong leadership in order to create a deterrent for China and Russia. You could even say that to some degree the longevity of the current President depends somewhat on this very delicate situation both in Russia and China, how aggressive the leadership is, when there will be a leadership change in these two nations or when the awareness of the international community will shift so that there isn’t such a big risk that China or Russia will move in if a vacuum is created by the current President no longer being there.

Envision a gradual peaceful change in Kazakhstan

Question: Kazakhstan has reached a certain level of change in almost all spheres of the country. The question is about a change of government. Has the consciousness of the people matured enough to initiate the impeachment of the current government or is there a risk of going through the same experience as Ukraine?

I strongly recommend that no violent, drastic steps are taken in Kazakhstan at this time but that you have a certain patience and allow the collective consciousness to continue to rise. I’m speaking this of course into the mass consciousness in the hopes that some will pick up on the need to be patient and allow things to unfold rather than seeking to take things by force.

As you say, Kazakhstan has grown in many areas of society and it is better to continue this gradual change than to seek to create a violent revolution of some kind which is far too likely to plunge the country into unrest and chaos. This would not be the same as in Ukraine because the collective consciousness is different in Kazakhstan and the Kazakh people are generally much more peaceful. Kazakhstan is not in the same way, divided between an eastern and a western part, at least, not with the same dynamic as Ukraine.

So envision a gradual peaceful change instead of a violent revolution or even a political revolution that still creates an abrupt change.

How to translate decrees and invocations

Question: What is the creative process for decrees and invocations? Are they written by one Master or is it a group of Masters that get together at a round table and decide on what to write? Also, is it trial and error when it comes to finding the perfect words to rhyme or does it all come together instantaneously for the Masters?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Kazakhstan in 2018

It is sometimes a collaborative effort but in most cases where the decree is for one particular Master, it is that Master who works with the messenger. It is not so that we have a decree in English in the ascended realm that is then simply downloaded to the messenger’s mind. It is the same process as when we give a dictation. We are sending a much more complex matrix and therefore it is translated into words in the messenger’s mind. It is possible to be a messenger who can receive dictations without being able to receive decrees that rhyme. Being able to rhyme is a skill that has to be learned over time. That is why when it comes to translating the decrees it is a much more difficult process to find the words in the second language that correspond with the English words.

The ideal scenario is that the translator has some attunement and can work with the Master who gave that decree. You do not need to give a literal translation of the decree and in some cases if you try to rhyme in the second language, you alter the meaning too much.

So if you are not able to rhyme, it is better to translate a decree without having it rhyme in the second language. Of course the ideal is that you can be attuned enough to see whether this can be done for a particular decree.

We understand that this is a difficult process but you also need to recognize here that the importance of the fact that a decree is translated into words in the messenger’s mind is that what the decree needs to do is to convey the more complex energy and consciousness matrix of the Master. This can be done in different ways or rather this can be done with different words.

So you don’t have to have this very perfectionist attitude towards translating decrees where you think there is only one right way to do it. It is quite possible to translate a decree even if it doesn’t rhyme in such a way that there is still a basic rhythm of the decree that is maintained. Therefore you can still convey that deeper energy matrix that the Master wants to convey.

Iran, other islamic countries and the Golden Age

Question: I would like to know the masters’ opinion about Iran and the spiritual movement there. I would also like to know the masters’ view about the Islamic revolution in Iran that happened 40 years ago and about its leader Ayatollah Khomeini. I wish to hear some message from Master Zarathustra the ancient Iranian prophet if it is possible. Thank you.

The Islamic revolution both in Iran and in other countries was clearly a backward step, in the sense that it wasn’t the highest potential for any of these countries. The Sharia Law is an attempt to go backwards rather than go forwards and so the leaders of many of these revolutions in the Arab countries have been fallen beings and Khomeini is just one among them. This is not necessarily so that we consider this from a larger perspective a disaster, in the sense that we have always said that if people want to learn through the school of hard knocks then they must take things to the extreme – when the knocks get hard enough to awaken them to the reality that they need to change, this can be a step in that process.

Of course the Middle East countries will not make a significant leap forward until they basically adopt the kind of government that you see in many other parts of the world where you separate the secular and the religious. There is much more to say about this concept of why it has been necessary to separate government from the religious authorities. What I will say now is that it simply has been proven by experience that the only way to have a more open and democratic form of government is to separate the two.

A religious authority is at present far too open to abuse. In too many cases the fallen beings manage to insert themselves as the religious authorities thereby they can set themselves up as having the authority of God and therefore being beyond questioning. You basically cannot move into the Golden Age mindset and have a Golden Age form of government if the people are not participating in the government, they cannot do that if they cannot question their government. If the government takes on some kind of unquestionable authority, you cannot move into a Golden Age form of government.

Being a follower of the Christ today does not mean that you have to be persecuted

Question: Jesus disciples were severely persecuted. When Christianity became the official religion, it began to persecute those who opened mystical Christian schools; the followers of the Buddha or Lao Tzu have a different faith. When an adherent becomes a follower of a certain teaching he forms his life paradigm. How much does it affect his destiny depending on the direction accepted by the student?

Kim: I don’t understand the question

Participant: If a student chooses to follow the Christian teachings of Jesus Christ or Gautama Buddha does it mean that the fate of the student is dependent on the teachings or the path that he or she “chose.” Does it affect their destiny of being the Christ or being the Buddha?

Participant: Well I also sense that the question was kind of  tricky in the sense that they asked if whether you choose to follow Christ or Buddha you will have a different fate. If you follow the Christ you are being persecuted but if you follow the Buddha it’s likely that you are not being persecuted.

Kim: Okay

Participant: A violent ending of being crucified or sitting in a monastery being left alone.

The persecutions of Christians was a phenomenon that took place at a certain time and the persecution by Christians also took place at a certain time. So in at least some parts of the world you have raised above this consciousness so that you will not be persecuted or killed if you take a different path, otherwise surely this messenger would not have survived for these fifteen years.

So we do live in a different time where being a follower of the Christ does not mean that you have to be persecuted. Obviously there are some countries where if you choose to follow Christ you might indeed be persecuted because of the religious intolerance in the country.

But even so you need to consider that sometimes the reason why the followers, the early followers of the Buddha were not persecuted was that they were not outgoing, they were not going into society and challenging the power elite of their time. In that case the fallen beings will sometimes leave you alone because you don’t pose at least an immediate threat to their power over the people. Again of course we have moved to a less violent time where you can now. You have a broader range of options for challenging the power elite without being persecuted.

Communism and evolution of lifestreams

Question: In one of the ascended masters’ dictations it was said that if a human being wants to follow the fallen beings then according to the law of free will he/she will have to follow them after embodiment. I understand that for this reason, many life streams will not be available to come into physical embodiment on Earth. So I want to ask this question about the lifestreams who are in embodiment now and those that will be born in physical bodies on our planet, are they already more developed and ready to take responsibility for their lives and countries rather than following the fallen beings? For example is it possible for a lifestream that abused power during Stalin’s period of governing to come into embodiment and to have a strong desire to prove to everybody that communism brought about only peace and happiness?

It is not entirely correct to say that if a lifestream decides to follow the fallen beings then that person can not come into embodiment in the next lifetime. That is an individual matter that must be decided by the Karmic Board. So it is possible that there are people who were in embodiment, for example during Stalin’s government or during Hitler’s reign who are in embodiment today. Some of them are naturally still in a similar state of consciousness, have not grown much in between embodiments and are therefore in some ways seeking to prove the previous.

There are examples of lifestreams who have not let go of their belief in communism and are either seeking to recreate it or seeking to prove it right. There are also lifestreams that are seeking to prove that nothing went wrong in the past, that Stalin was not such a bad person but was actually a good influence on the history of Russia. There are of course lifestreams who think that the dissolution of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical disaster of the past century as Vladimir Putin has said. He is an example of one who has been embodied in a communist context in his previous life and has reincarnated with that belief in wanting to recreate the empire.

There are also some of those lifestreams that are now embodied in China where communism is still, at least officially, the doctrine. You also see examples as we have said before, that some of the people who were in charge of the Nazi regime’s persecution of the Jews are today embodied in Israel. Quite frankly some of them are now doing to the Palestinians what they did to the Jews in their past life only this time they are themselves embodied as Jews.

So you see that it is very complex how lifestreams are given another opportunity. Therefore we cannot generally say that all of the lifestreams that come into embodiment today are at a higher level and are ready to take responsibility for themselves. What we can say is that there are more lifestreams coming into embodiment today that are at a higher level than in previous ages. This does not mean that all of the ones who come into embodiment are at a higher level.

The light body of ascended master does not have a sex as it is conceived on earth

Question: Does the sex of the body in the last embodiment before ascension determine which polarity ‘male or female’ a newly ascended being will have? For example we know that Mother Mary, Kuan Yin, Nada, Guru Ma in their last embodiment’s were in the female body as well as Buddha, Jesus, Saint Germain, Master More, etc., were in male bodies. Does this mean that if this is our last embodiment the sex of our bodies will somehow determine which polarity, male or female we will have after ascension?

In general yes there is that correlation. However it is not quite as it might seem from an unascended perspective. If we are to be completely straightforward about this then we actually don’t have sex in the ascended realm as you conceive of it on earth. So when an Ascended Master decides to remain with earth and work with the evolutions on earth then it presents itself as having a clearly male or clearly female sex in order to give people on earth something to relate to.

But in the ascended realm you are much more androgynous – so to speak  – because you are clearly aware of both the feminine and the masculine aspects. So you are not as bound by these roles and of course not by the sex of the physical body because you cannot really say that the light body we wear has a sex as you conceive of it on earth. However we have so far decided that even though we have given the teaching that you can change sex as you reincarnate many times, we have decided that we will not confuse people by presenting ourselves as having had both male and female incarnations which of course all of us have had and all of you have had as well.

But we have simply determined that in order to avoid overwhelming people we have focused on – if a male Ascended Master gives his embodiments, he gives male embodiment’s. If a female Ascended Master gives embodiments, she gives female embodiments.

Ascended masters interact with each other in an entirely different way than people on earth

Question: This is a question about the spiritual realms. Are their conjugal partnerships in heaven, in the spiritual realms? Do the Ascended Masters enter into marital relations? Do they create families or are they internally connected only with their twin flames without the right to choose another partner in life? Is there a romantic side of love or is it possible only in an unascended sphere? How strong are marriage unions among the Ascended Masters or is there no permanent relationship given the specifics of their forms and types of service?

The question is asked from the consciousness you have while you are in embodiment on a dense matter planet. It is understandable, there is no blame here. But describing the relationships we have as Ascended Masters simply is not constructive because you would not be able to grasp it with your current level of consciousness. As an example we can say that there are no marriages in the ascended realm. What kind of authority or church would we need to go to in order to have a relationship sanctified? We do not have physical bodies. We do not have physical sex. We do not have the kind of romance you have here. We interact with each other in an entirely different way.

It is as this messenger said yesterday: in order to explain the condition you would have to invent another vocabulary but to those who are still in embodiment that vocabulary would be meaningless and to those of us in the ascended realm we wouldn’t need the vocabulary as we are experiencing the conditions. I can say that nothing is permanent in the ascended realm, everything is constantly evolving. So the best answer I can give you is ‘come on up here and see for yourself”. We have actually given the teaching before that we do not have an equivalent of physical sex but we practice a kind of union that is more pleasurable and enjoyable even though those are terms that we not do not apply to what we experience than what you can have on earth.

I will also say that we are not in the ascended realm tied to having relationships only with our twin flames, we interact in a more free manner. However what I want to say is this: the experience we have in the ascended realm – I am not giving you the impression that it is necessarily better than what you experience on earth. What you experience on earth is a specific type of experience that you cannot have in the ascended realm because it is not as dense.

So the point I want to make is, as long as you are on earth, focus on enjoying the experiences you can have in a physical body on a dense matter planet. Do not be so concerned about how it is in the ascended realm because you will experience that when you are here. So focus on where you are at, be satisfied with where you are at, be at peace with where you are at and make the best use of the time you have while you are on earth instead of worrying about or being concerned about or focusing on what it is like in the ascended realm.
