The perversion of abundance

Question: What is a perversion of the consciousness of abundance? What is the negative energy that is behind this? Why cannot people manifest abundance in their lives and the country?

Answer from Ascended Master MORE through Kim Michaels:

This is a complex question because there is not just one perversion and one cause. In a sense, each of the seven rays can be perverted and prevent people’s abundance. Yet, in Russia, the greatest perversion, or the greatest block, to the people’s abundance is actually the lack of trust in God. This is, of course, to a large degree a product of the Eastern Orthodox Church, which for a thousand years presented a distorted view of God, Jesus and Christianity, as the Catholic Church did the same in the West. This distorted view was combined with the atheist view of the Communist era where there was a denial of the existence of God.

What was attempted to be done in the Soviet era was to build a material standard of living by taking things through force from nature, by forcing nature to produce what the people decided they needed or wanted according to the latest five-year plan. Take as an example, the attempt to revert the direction of large rivers, a radical redesign of a natural flow of energy that a river actually represents.

There were, of course, numerous other examples of how the Soviet system attempted to force Mother Nature instead of working with nature in trust and harmony. This force-based approach actually created an opposite spiral of what is meant to be an upward spiral that gives people greater abundance. This is why you will see that the Soviet Union had a lower standard of living than the West where there was a better spiral, despite the fact that there also was a perversion of people’s view of God and a certain atheist and certainly a secularist approach to government.

In order to have true abundance in a society, that society needs to acknowledge that there is a spiritual realm beyond the material and that everything in the material realm is built from spiritual energy that has been released as a stream into the material world. A society does not need to have a specific religion. It does not even need to acknowledge the existence of ascended masters, even though we are the ones releasing the energy. But there needs to be some acknowledgment of the fact that everything in the material world is made from energy that comes from a higher realm.

Therefore, the only way to create an upward spiral leading to greater abundance is to increase the stream of spiritual energy. Individual human beings have the potential to be the open doors for this stream. This of course requires that people have trust in the spiritual realm. They trust the reality, they also trust the benevolence that there is not an angry and judgmental God in the sky, but the God that Jesus described when he said: “Fear not little flock for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

It is truly the pleasure of the ascended masters to give the abundant life to all people on earth. As we have said: “The call compels the answer.” If you do not believe in the reality of Spirit, how can you make the call, and then how can we, according to the Law of Free Will, give the answer?

In Russia, the greatest block is the remnants of the mindset that is, as I said, a combination of the Orthodox Church and the Communist system. You can make calls on the dissolution of this mindset and use the teachings we have given during this conference to understand it better. Then you can work on it in yourselves so that you also overcome this and trust that, regardless of the current situation in Russia, it is still possible for you to receive abundance, even material abundance, when you resolve your own psychology and your relationship with God.

I am not thereby saying that you need to feel bad if as a spiritual student you do not have great abundance. Many spiritual people are not meant to engage in the kind of business activities that are currently the only ways to manifest great abundance. It is therefore for many spiritual people better to have lesser abundance and stand apart from these activities until, as we move further into the golden age, it becomes easier to manifest abundance without taking part in business practices that require the use of force, manipulation or corruption in order to give great monetary wealth.

Natural disasters in Russia

Question: What natural disasters are predicted for Russia. Is it required to decree to avoid them?

Answer from Master MORE:

I do not at this point wish to give any predictions about particular natural disasters. It is always prudent to make some calls for the possibility of natural disasters, but this is sort of included when you make calls and decrees for the transmutation of the karma of the nation and the old consciousness.

As Mother Mary has explained, even a natural disaster is an expression of the consciousness of the people. It is actually difficult, even for the ascended masters, to predict a natural disaster a long time ahead of the time it occurs. Even up till the very end, there are always ascended masters working to avoid a natural disaster.

It is often a matter of a very close call where if a few thousand more people had raised their consciousness to a certain level, a disaster could have been avoided. It is often counterproductive for us to make predictions that to such a large degree depend on the choices made by people in embodiment, choices that often can be very subtle.

As you have heard the story from the Bible, of where one city would have been spared if there had been one righteous person in that city. I can tell you that there are cases where even a handful of people can make the difference about whether a certain disaster occurs or how severe it becomes. Of course, the larger the disaster, the more people it would take to have mitigated it because the larger disasters are caused by the consciousness of a larger number of people.

Guru Ma’s position in the spiritual realm

Question: What is Guru Ma’s position?

Answer from Ascended Master MORE:

As has been announced in a previous dispensation, Guru Ma and Lanello are meant to take up the leadership role at the retreat of the Sun over Lake Titicaca. God and Goddess Meru will then move on to take up the position in the sun, currently held by Helios and Vesta who will then move on to higher positions.

Yet, being the leader of a retreat, such as the Temple of the Sun, is a complex task. This will therefore require that both Guru Ma and Lanello go through an initial training period under God and Goddess Meru. This training period could not be begun until Guru Ma had ascended, and thus they will go through it together. This will take some time. I do not wish to put an exact number on it, but I am sure we will find cause to announce it when they take up their new positions.

Spiritual light and the judgment of people

Question: I would like to know how spiritual light brings the judgment of people. Is it true that in the Aquarian age more light will be released that will bring the judgment of people and take them out of embodiment?

Answer from Ascended Master MORE:

It is not actually the light that brings the judgment, but the choices made by the individual lifestream. There is, again, an old consciousness of projecting onto the remote God up in the sky.

People have for thousands of years reasoned that if something bad happens to them, this is God’s punishment. As we have tried to explain, we do not punish or judge anyone; we allow the Law of Free Will to take care of this according to people’s own choices.

What we do is that we have a right to challenge people who have descended into a very low state of consciousness. One of the ways we do challenge humanity is by releasing spiritual light to such a measure that people cannot ignore it, but must either accept the light or reject the light.

It is perfectly true that in the Aquarian Age we will release an accelerated stream of light, but this will be done very gradually and carefully and it will be adapted to how people respond to it. But yes, it is correct that the light of Aquarius will challenge many of the individuals who have attachments to the way things were done in the Age of Pisces. It will even challenge many of the structures and as always, as you even see in nature, those who cannot adapt to a change in circumstances must become extinct.

There are lifestreams who most likely will not accept the light of Aquarius and therefore will be taken from embodiment. Most of them at the end of their natural lifespan, but some will be taken earlier if they commit severe abuses of the free will of other people.

Does pain have a spiritual purpose?

Question: What is the purpose of pain? Does it serve any spiritual purpose? Can it be a warning that we are not moving in the right direction spiritually?

Answer from Master MORE:

Let me begin with physical pain, which of course is the signal that the body, the nerves of the body, sense when a certain part of the body has been hurt. The nerves then send a signal to the brain and this is a signal that the conscious mind of the person needs to pay attention to the area from where the pain comes and therefore potentially do something to either avoid what is causing the pain, or to do whatever is necessary to heal it. So at the physical level, pain is simply the body’s warning signal.

At the emotional level, it is correct to say that emotional pain is a signal that you have become unbalanced and that therefore you are not moving in the right direction. Now it is, of course, necessary to acknowledge how free will works in the physical octave where other people can violate your physical body and your emotional, mental and identity bodies.

In such case it is not always that pain means that you are going in the wrong direction. You can be quite innocent in a situation and you are being abused by others who are misusing their free will. This can still cause you emotional pain and it is natural to feel this. Yet, when you have negative feelings, a negative view of the situation, instead of meeting it with greater acceptance, then you will magnify the pain. This is what can cause hurt to the soul that you carry on from lifetime to lifetime.

You will notice that when you leave one physical body behind through what most people call death, then when you come into your next lifetime, you will not in many cases have any remnants in your new body of the physical pain you felt in the old body. This signifies that even though you may suffer pain to the emotional body in one lifetime, if you can react with innocence and acceptance, you will, again, not create a scar in the emotional body that you will carry over from lifetime to lifetime. If however you cannot react this way, then you can create a scar in the emotional body that can actually cause you to have pain in your physical body even in the next lifetime. The next body that you take on will to some degree outpicture the scars in your three higher bodies.

Pain does not have a higher function or a higher value. We do not consider pain a teaching device that we would ever use. It is perfectly possible to walk the spiritual path and qualify for your ascension without feeling any emotional or mental or identity pain. Pain is only a function of you having entered the School of Hard Knocks, either in this or a past lifetime.

What I am saying here is that pain is not something that we consider or that we would ever want or would ever inflict upon our students. We do not use pain as a teaching device. Yet, be careful to acknowledge the subtle reality that when you have scars and wounds from past lives that you have not yet resolved, it can be necessary for a true spiritual teacher, be it an embodied guru or the ascended masters, to challenge the illusions that caused the wound. This can, of course, cause you to experience the pain when you have energy that has not been transmuted.

Thus, there are many people who from their perspective, have experienced that we of the ascended masters, or an embodied guru such as Guru Ma, cause them pain, emotional pain. Yet, take note that this was their experience. It was not that we deliberately or wilfully caused the pain, nor that we saw it as a teaching device. It is simply that when you start looking at an illusion, you will make contact with the un-transmuted energy created through it and you will therefore feel the pain.

We would, if we could, gladly help people avoid the pain. We have given our rosaries and decrees for that purpose so that you might transmute most of the energy before you look at the illusion. We have only unconditional love for our students and we would gladly see them make the switch whereby they could face their past momentums and illusions without feeling the pain. This is possible when you have transmuted a critical mass of energy and made this shift in consciousness, as we have instructed many times.

Pain during childbirth

Question: What is the reason women, and the child as well, feel such pain during childbirth?

Answer from Ascended Master MORE:

You may have heard from previous dispensations that there was a time when the earth was so pure that it was not necessary to have physical sex or to give physical birth to children because children could be created through the mind. However, when the fall into a lower state of consciousness happened, matter solidified and thus it became necessary to have the physical gestation of children and physical childbirth.

This was necessary for a variety of reasons. One of them was that the only way that the population could grow to its intended level was to set up a situation where a man and a woman could conceive a child without being in harmony. You see, in order to give birth to a child through the power of the mind alone, it was still necessary to have two beings, one representing the masculine polarity and one the feminine. Yet, for them to give birth to a child through the powers of the mind they had to be in complete harmony.

Obviously, you know well that it is possible for the physical bodies you have today to conceive a child even if the man and the woman are not in a state of harmony. This means that if it had been necessary for the man and the woman to be in a state of harmony in order to physically conceive a child, very few children would have been born, especially in past ages. In order to make sure that the population would grow, physical childbirth became a necessity.

This is related, of course, to the downward karmic spiral that humankind created after the first fall. For many thousands of years there was often pain and there was no technological way to relieve the pain. We might therefore say that the physical pain endured by the child and the woman is a reminder that there was a time when it was possible to conceive and give birth to children in a different way.

There are ways to give physical birth to a child with a minimum of pain. This will require a different approach to pregnancy and childbirth than has been taken by modern society after it has become more materialistic and technological. This is something that we will give teachings on in the future, but I will wisely leave that to the lady-masters. It will also require a female messenger, as this messenger in this lifetime does not have the necessary frame of reference to bring forth the teaching.

Breatharians, not eating food

Question: Using prana instead of eating. How useful is this? What is known about this? People who live off prana instead of eating food.

Answer from Ascended Master MORE:

While it is possible to live without physical food and only taking in spiritual energy – whether you call it prana or the Holy Spirit – it is not something that the ascended masters recommend because it is simply too extreme of a practice for the vast majority of people. This does not mean that we are saying that there cannot be people who will have a strong inner urge to live this way and we, of course, have no desire to interfere with the free will and the inner guidance of such people.

Yet we will not generally recommend this practice and we recommend that people are very, very careful before adopting it. It would be disastrous – and mark my strong word! – if you adopted this practice out of playing an ego game while you think – as so many people do – that the more extreme the practice, the more efficient it must be—or the more points it must earn you in the records of Heaven.

You do not earn points by being extreme and you only need to look at the life of the Buddha to see that he lived in a very extreme manner for six years before realizing that the key to liberation was the Middle Way.

Shri Yukteswar and Lahiri Mahasaya

Question: What is known about the fate of the lifestreams and what is the role of Shri Yukteswar and Lahiri Mahasaya. They used to be teachers of Paramahansa Yogananda.

Answer from Ascended Master MORE:

All three of them have now ascended. It was previously announced that Yogananda had not yet ascended, but he has done so since that answer was given.

Yet all three of them have moved on and are working now with lifestreams on another planet that they were already working with before. Thus, they are not among the ascended masters working with earth.

Recognizing a true messenger

Question: This question is about messengers in Russia. Russia is a big country with a big population; are there messengers of the ascended masters in Russia, are they going to appear in Russia? The second part of the question is: There are a lot of other people that announce themselves as true messengers. Are they true messengers or not?

Answer from the Ascended Master MORE through Kim Michaels:

In the Aquarian Age it is very important that you develop your individual discernment. This means that we of the ascended masters will no longer tell you who is a true messenger and not a true messenger. We have done so in the past, but this was in the past. We will not do this in the Aquarian Age.

We will instead give you examples of what true messengers are like and what the messages are that we can bring forth through them. We do this so you may learn to read our vibration and then compare this to the vibration of other messages given through those who claim to be messengers. It is far more important for us that you develop this inner discernment than that we give you outer directions that you then follow.

There is a potential that we will have one or two people who can grow into fulfilling the role of messengers who speak the Russian language. Yet I will not reveal their identities, for becoming a messenger is a delicate process that takes time. It takes training. It also takes a willingness to transcend the consciousness that we have exposed in our dictations so far at this conference and that we will talk about in the remainder of this conference.

You see, my beloved, there is actually an advantage to the fact that this messenger did not grow up in Russia. He has not been exposed to the consciousness that blinds the Russian people, and therefore he can see it more easily than if he had grown up inside of that mental box. He also does not have a personal attachment to a certain image of Russia and is therefore more neutral than some people who claim to be messengers, but want their messages to confirm a certain image of Russia and the importance of Russia.

This is not to say that we would not like to have messengers who speak the Russian language. Nevertheless, you need to understand that even so it is necessary that you transcend the consciousness that we need to expose in order to help the Russian people grow.

You also need to recognize that there are many ways to be a messenger, to be an open door. You do not always need to take dictations. As I have said before, if you are an expert in some field in society, you can be the open door for bringing forth new ideas. This is also serving as a messenger, and we of course have many people in Russia, many of whom are not even aware of our existence, but they can still be the recipients for new ideas.

The most important way to evaluate a messenger is to look at the purity of intent. Does the messenger have an impure intention, a personal agenda of some kind and is therefore wanting the ascended masters to affirm either the agenda or the person’s own importance? This messenger has been very aware that being a messenger is a very humble occupation. Your task is to be the open door, nothing more and nothing less. If you want to use the claim of being a messenger to set yourself up into some high position, being admired by others or having them work for you, then this is a sign that you are not working with the ascended masters.

These are just pointers for, again, vibration is the key. Vibration is the key. You need to acknowledge the fact that Russia is a large nation, but it is only one among many nations. You need to acknowledge, what I said earlier, namely that we of the ascended masters are working with individuals seeking to help them ascend. We are not so attached to nations.

I know very well that a previous dispensation was centered in America and gave a view of the world that was very centered on America. Yet that was, again, a certain stage. It was not the only or the ultimate way that we of the ascended masters can or will present ourselves.

We are of course beyond any nation on earth. We are beyond anything on earth. We have ascended precisely by leaving behind, as Guru Ma said, all of our personal attachments to anything on earth.

It is one of these tricky things that in order to recognize a true messenger you have to have overcome a certain amount of your personal attachments. Otherwise, you will “recognize” a messenger that tells you what you want to hear according to your personal attachments. Of course, in order to be a messenger of the ascended masters you have to have overcome even more of your attachments. It is true, as the old saying goes: “It takes one to know one” and that is really the final word in the matter. At least for now.

What is Déja Vu

Question: It’s a question about Déja Vu. What kind of state is it? Sometimes I have a feeling that everything is going alright. I am going on the right path. Is this a correct feeling or state, I don’t know, please explain this Déja Vu.

Answer from Ascended Master MORE through Kim Michaels:

My beloved, a question such as this cannot, again, be answered in a general way, because it is individual. There are some people who, as they grow on the spiritual path, will begin to have some intuitive sense of what will happen in the near future. They might dream this; they might even during waking consciousness have a sense that something is going to happen. Then, when it does happen, it is of course a sense that their premonition was correct.

Nevertheless, you have to be very careful that you do not get to the point where you want to have such premonitions and therefore you seek to make them happen. Because then your mind will begin to play tricks on you. It will give you what you say you want, but it will not always be accurate. You also have to be careful that if you have a premonition that something is going to happen, then you do not go in with the outer mind and begin to try to make it happen.

On the other hand, there are people who will get warnings through dreams or intuitions of certain dangerous or negative things that could happen. These can, generally speaking, be accurate and should therefore be heeded. Yet I must tell you that there are many, many people who get caught up in wanting some kind of sign, some kind of premonition, intuition, and some kind of prediction. They use astrology, or Tarot cards, or Ouija boards or muscle testing or this or that or the next thing, to try to find out what is going to happen in the future, or which decisions they should make that are the “right” decisions.

You see, my beloved, there is for most people not really any value in knowing what will happen ahead of time, unless it is a warning. There is more value in facing a situation and making a choice right there in that situation. That is how most people grow.

There are many people who in their eagerness to know the future have become involved with psychic forces. Psychic forces are able to give you certain predictions, because they can sometimes see what will happen to you in the near future. Then they give you some kind of premonition and then you think: “Oh, I must be in tune with some higher force.” Then they gradually lead you on to the point where you become more and more dependent on such forces instead of making your own decisions.

You see, we of the ascended masters in most cases do not tell people what to do or not to do. You learn from making a decision based on your current knowledge and state of consciousness and then learning from the result of that decision.

There are many situations where nothing is set in stone. What you might see in a premonition is in most cases just one of several potential outcomes of a situation. It does not mean that it is the only or the highest one and that therefore you should strive to make it come true.

I would say that there is a certain point on the path where these things seem important to people and people seek to have them, want to have them. This I would warn against and I would say: “Do not seek to bring this about. If it does happen spontaneously, then if it is a warning, heed it. If it is not, then just simply wait and see what happens, but be willing to make choices.”

There will also come a higher point on the path where these phenomena simply fade away because they are no longer important. You trust, and as you use your attunement and your intuition, you do not need to know ahead of time what will happen. You realize that everything is an opportunity for you and other people to grow.

Is it, for example, important to know what is going to happen three days from now, such as the example of the messengers coming here and they had a certain sense that there might be a problem with their visa to Kazakhstan? Yet was it necessarily important that they acted upon this, or was it important to let the situation unfold and therefore give all people an opportunity to respond and learn from this.

You see, nothing is set in stone in the material world. There is of course a certain probability that certain events might take place, but there are always choices. Certainly, there are choices as to how you respond to a given situation and it is far more important that you focus on your own response than on the outer result and events.

Can astrology change the past?

Question: Can astrological analysis delete or change previous life mistakes? Astrology can make an analysis of your personal life. Can it change the past?

Answer from the Ascended Master MORE through Kim Michaels:

No.

This is not to say that astrological analysis is useless. It can be used constructively to get to know certain aspects of your path and your past, even certain karmic patterns. You can then use our tools, such as the Violet Flame and other decrees and invocations, to invoke the light and then the light can change the past, but no analysis of astrology and no other form of trickery of astrology can change the past.

No one can do this for you, my beloved. You have created it, you must un-create it. Otherwise, how would you attain self-mastery, if someone else did it all for you? Therefore, beware of any practitioner in any field that promises you that they have some kind of shortcut that can set you free from what is your responsibility.

The educational system in Russia

Question: A question about the educational system in Russia which is getting worse day by day. Is there any potential to improve the educational system in Russia? Could the ascended masters give us a higher vision of how to do this? The person asking this question is teaching at a university and she is saying that the vision she keeps on it proves the system of education is not high. She is afraid that the education could be worse than it is now.

Answer from the Ascended Master MORE through Kim Michaels:

As I said about the leader of a nation being an expression of the consciousness of the people, so is the educational system to some degree an expression of the consciousness of the people. The big question in any nation is whether the educational system actually educates people in terms of raising their awareness, or whether it actually has the opposite effect of either lowering their consciousness or forcing their minds to accept the status quo of a fixed or closed system.

Certainly, we of the ascended masters can give many directions, but we cannot give this through a messenger who is not an expert on education. Therefore, we would prefer to give this through educators in Russia. They do not need to take dictations, but they need to tune in to the individual masters that oversee education. You need to make an effort to raise your consciousness, to use the tools we have given and then to attune your mind and heart to the masters who specifically deal with education, or even any master that you feel is close to your heart, for any master can serve as an intermediary for other masters.

You may look at other nations as well where already different forms for alternative education have been released. There are several. You will know from past dispensations of the Montessori Method for younger children, but you need to look elsewhere also. You need to look for more modern theories on education.

Again, this is something that you who know the educational system from the inside, you who are experts on education, you need to see yourselves as the ones who can bring forth new ideas. We cannot bring forth such ideas through a messenger who has not in his or her consciousness the outer knowledge.

You understand the law that we multiply what is in the messenger’s consciousness. You need to see yourself as the messenger, not necessarily taking dictations, but being the open door for bringing forth ideas. This applies, of course, not only to education, but also to all other areas of society, including healthcare, politics, the economy, and many other fields.

It is a law that we of the ascended masters can multiply what you bring to the altar, but if you bring nothing we cannot multiply. You cannot be an expert in every field of modern society for it is too complex. Therefore, you cannot expect a messenger to have such expertise in every field in society that we can give a pre-made theory of education, for example, through that messenger. Then the messenger would not have enough awareness to be a messenger for other fields. Each messenger has a specialty and some are meant to be general messengers for spiritual concepts, such as this one, and that is precisely why his education has been in ascended master and other spiritual philosophies and teachings rather than in a specific area in society. Thus, look within for the answers to such specific questions.

Can we have good physical health?

Question: It is well known that everything in the world of form is a projection of our consciousness and this is also related to our view of our bodies that reflect our state of consciousness. Is it possible to have our bodies, our physical body, to be in good shape that allow us to avoid any diseases, to have good health and help us to be here and to do what we can do?

Answer from Master MORE through Kim Michaels:

Yes, it is possible, but not necessarily for everyone and not necessarily for every level of the path. This is too individual of a matter to be covered in a general question because you each have an individual divine plan. Part of your divine plan is to overcome certain obstacles and for some people this is a physical disease that they have the potential to overcome. Thus, in order to manifest good health, you need to overcome the consciousness behind the disease, and only then will it be possible for you.

Then there are others for whom it is part of their divine plan to demonstrate that they can live with a certain disease and still manifest a positive attitude to life and fulfill their spiritual growth and their spiritual potential. Again, for such people it would not necessarily be possible to have good health.

Yet for most people, it will, of course, be possible to have good health. And this is partly a matter of living right, of eating right, according to the theories that are out there in the world. Again, you must find the one that works for you individually. It is also a matter of avoiding certain practices and foods that destroy the body, first of all drugs and alcohol and certain types of food.

Yet, also, it is highly recommended again that you use our spiritual tools to transform the energies that burden your four lower bodies and will eventually manifest as disease and other imbalances, even aging, in the body. Again, yes, if it is in your divine plan and you are determined to live right and use the spiritual tools, it is possible.

Overcoming subconscious momentums

Question: There is an American psychological method which promises to quickly help clear subconscious momentums and help you overcome your past. Can you give us confirmation; is it dangerous or not for practical use?

Answer from Master MORE through Kim Michaels:

My beloved, anything that promises you that you can be set free of subconscious momentums quickly does not come from the ascended masters. Be wary of such promises, especially if they come from America, which is the ‘get rich quick’ and ‘get results quickly’ capital of the world. This is partly due to the American mindset that wants results quickly and that has grown ever more impatient in the modern age. You can see this in the media of how the press deals with issues in twenty-second sound bites, and that is supposed to be enough to expose the various aspects of a complex issue.

The subconscious mind is part of your soul. It has been built over many, many life times. There is absolutely no short-cut that can help you overcome subconscious momentums quickly, as measured with human time. There are indeed methods that can help you gain insight into your subconscious beliefs, and there are many such methods. I will not recommend specific ones here, for it is too complex.

Yet you will see that there are two basic groupings: those who are aimed at helping you release energy and those who are aimed at helping you see your subconscious beliefs. Releasing subconscious energy may help you. It may be even necessary to use in the short run for people in a crisis. Yet for people who are dedicated to the path of the ascended masters it should not be necessary to use techniques aimed at releasing energy, for even if you release energy from your own energy field, you are still responsible, karmically and spiritually, for your use of energy. And you will have to transmute it before you qualify for your ascension.

Therefore, the best tools for dealing with energy in the subconscious are the decrees, rosaries and invocations released by us. You can use them to reinforce techniques that are aimed at helping you see the subconscious beliefs and momentums, but certainly our dictations and our invocations are also designed to help you see these subconscious momentums.

I am not recommending that you use our techniques only, but that you use a combination as you feel inspired individually. You can experiment with several tools until you find some that work for you personally. But always use them along with our decrees and our invocations. If you know of the ascended masters, make use of what we have and then use other tools given in the world to supplement your invocation of light.

We do work with many people. We do give many tools, often without the people even knowing that they receive tools from us. Yet as I said, there is no quick-fix, there is no short-cut. You have created the mountain of karma and you must un-create it by invoking light.

Which ascended masters work with Russia?

Question: In previous dispensations it was given that specific masters were helping countries. Are there besides Mother Mary, Nicholas Roerich and Igor, any other masters that are involved in helping Russia?

Answer from Master MORE through Kim Michaels:

All of us.

It is true of course that some ascended masters work more closely with certain countries than others. Yet certainly you can add to the list Archangel Michael and myself, as masters who work very closely with the spiritual people in Russia. There will, in the future, be other masters, as people raise their consciousness and as some people appeal to those specific masters to work with them individually.

You do understand the law, do you not? The call compels the answer. If a group of people decide that they will invoke the Presence of a specific master and the intersession of that specific master for Russia, then – when a critical mass has been reached of your calls and invocations, and when you have opened your hearts so that that master can work through you – then the answer will be given.

So it is not only up to us to decide. This is something you need to learn by looking at previous dispensations. You need to recognize that precious dispensations were given in the Piscean Age. In the Piscean Age we did, because of the consciousness, have to portray ourselves as being more remote from the people than we actually desire to be.

In the Aquarian Age it is necessary that you get us off the pedestals, so to speak, that you do not project that we are “up there,” so far from you, and that you are just passive recipients of what we desire to send forth to earth. You are NOT remote from us, you are extensions of ourselves, of our own beings, and we desire that you accept yourself as such so that you can make a decision of what intersession you want for Russia. And then YOU raise up the chalice, you become the chalice, you become the open doors and then certainly we WILL respond.

Question about Vladimir Putin

Question: Does President Putin fulfill his task or is he running the consciousness of the Russian people?

Answer from Master MORE through Kim Michaels:

The leader of any nation is an expression of the consciousness of the people. So President Putin is a representative of the prevailing consciousness in Russia right now. Otherwise he would not have been re-elected, regardless of the manipulations that he performed in order to make himself able to run for the presidency again. If the people had not been in a certain state of consciousness, they would not have accepted a change in the constitution.

Thus, one can say that in a certain way Putin, as any leader, is fulfilling the role that the people have assigned to their leader through their state of consciousness. Yet, let it be made clear that Putin does not have a high state of consciousness, is not able to work with, or to be inspired by the ascended masters. Therefore, he is not the kind of leader that can help the people transcend their consciousness through a positive spiral.

He is the kind of leader who can outpicture the people’s consciousness to more and more extreme extents, so that the people eventually wake up and realize that this is not the kind of leader we want to have. Therefore, if we want a higher kind of leader, we must change ourselves, we must raise our consciousness.

That being said, it is also clear that one of the negative potentials for Russia, is a certain expression of lawlessness and chaos where corruption could become even more rampant than it is. And as such, you could say that Putin is the kind of leader who can put a lid on the worst forms of lawlessness. Although it must then also be said that he is an expression of an elitist system that is based on a certain lawlessness for the elite, which is nevertheless not as bad as total anarchy or complete lawlessness that you see in some nations, for example in Africa where you have different factions, such as tribal factions or ethnic factions, that are fighting each other. This could potentially happen in certain parts of Russia. Putin can make sure that this does not accelerate.

Nevertheless, if the people would transcend the consciousness that enabled him to be elected, they would not need that kind of a leader, but would then attract a higher kind of leader that could receive some guidance and sponsorship from the ascended masters. This is the potential for the spiritual people of Russia to do what I explained earlier, and what Kuan Yin explained yesterday, so that you can be the forerunners for a shift in consciousness that will make it possible for a majority of the Russian people to grasp the need to demand higher leadership, instead of the abusive form of an elitist leadership that they have suffered under for centuries to the point where they think their suffering is normal, necessary, or even beneficial.

Many think it takes a strong man to rule Russia. Many even look back to Stalin, as there are people in the West who thought that Hitler restored law and order and gave people work and made the trains run on time. Yet I would rather have the trains be delayed and have the people have greater freedom. Yet as I said earlier, until you have self-sufficiency and the willingness to make your own decisions, you will get the kind of leader that gives you what you subconsciously say you want: freedom from responsibility.

Can the masters help us overcome lower energies?

Question: About imperfect energies we sometimes manifest in our lower being. Could the ascended masters help us overcome the lower energies in ourselves, if we keep silent and not express it outward?

At the lower levels of the spiritual path, even those who are below the 48th level of consciousness, people have low self-control and often express whatever lower energies they feel, such as anger. As you grow to higher levels of the path and become more conscious, it is necessary that you learn to discipline your mind and your feelings so that you can withhold expressions of lower energies such as anger.

This is not something that we of the ascended masters can or will teach you. It is your responsibility to learn to get so much control over, for example, your mouth that you decide what your mouth will say and not the mouth by itself.

It is obvious that if you do express lower energies, two things will happen:

You will make karma for the expression you have given.
You will reinforce the momentum in your four lower bodies that caused you to give expression to the energy so you are more vulnerable the next time.

As I said, we cannot help you stop this downward momentum for it is your decision to make. We can, of course, help you see the momentums you have, if you make the calls to us. We have given our tools, our decrees for transmuting the energy you have already misqualified and our invocations for both transmuting energy and for helping you see the imperfect beliefs and illusions that cause you to feel that it is justified to express such energy.

Thus, we will help you by multiplying the calls, as you give the calls. But we will only multiply what you bring to the altar.

How to know your God Flame

Question: Dear Master MORE, can we get an answer on our God flame? How can we see it in ourselves?

You each have an individual God Flame and it must be known by you on an individual basis. It is not actually constructive to have someone tell you what your God Flame is, for your God Flame cannot be described accurately through words. It is a geometric structure, a pattern, a matrix, that is complex, multi-faceted, and you will not know all of it at once.

You will know it as you raise your consciousness. The best way to do this is, of course, to use the tools and teachings we have given, but especially the tools and teachings we give for the seven rays that we are releasing as the chohans and the Maha Chohan.

As you grow closer to the 96th level of consciousness, you will gradually come to know your God Flame. But you already, if you are open to ascended masters teachings, you know an aspect of your God Flame. You know the aspect that you can grasp with your current level of consciousness.

So by using the tools to clear away the energies and the illusions in your minds, the four levels of the minds, and by taking time once in a while to meditate, to go into your heart and meditate on your I Am Presence, you can gradually come to know other facets of your God Flame. But you will naturally not know the fullness of your God Flame until you are ready to ascend. You will know increasing levels of it as you approach the 144th level of consciousness.

Letting your ego trick you into rejecting the teaching that can set you free from the ego

Question: How should mature spiritual seekers respond when they find teachings on this website that challenge their existing beliefs and with which they disagree? I often find that the friends to whom I show the website pick out one little detail they don’t like and use it to reject the entire site. Can you please comment on that?

Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels:

Let me attempt to make it very clear that my remarks here should NOT be misconstrued as meaning that people should uncritically accept what is presented on this and the other websites, taking every word as an infallible gospel. As I have attempted to explain, the purpose of any true teaching is to give the student a stepping stone for reaching beyond the outer teaching to the Spirit of Truth – the ascended masters – from which the teaching came. The teaching is a lifeline that is meant to guide you to the source of the teaching.

My point being that you should always strive to go beyond the outer words of the teaching and reach for an inner understanding that takes you higher than the teaching. The responsibility of a messenger is to bring forth a teaching that is as pure as possible. The responsibility of a student is to reach beyond the outer teaching, thereby transcending any impurities in the teaching. As long as you connect to the source, any imperfections in the teaching are not important. And if you do not reach for the source, even a perfect teaching – if such a thing existed – would not guarantee your salvation.

The potential pitfall is – as always – the ego’s two extremes:

Students in black-and-white thinking will have idolatry of the messenger and the teaching, thinking it is the highest teaching and always correct. Thus they should never dare to think beyond what is stated in the teaching.
Students who are still affected by gray thinking will say no teaching has any particular authority. Thus, they will come up with their own interpretation of the teaching, so that it seems to say what they want to hear.

The way out is to realize what I just said above. You must use the teaching only as a stepping stone for reaching for the source of the teaching. The ascended masters are above both black-and-white and gray thinking. So unless you are willing to look beyond your current state of consciousness, you simply cannot make contact with us. You will remain stuck at your current level of consciousness, using your interpretation of the outer teaching to justify not reaching higher.

In that respect, let me make a very clear statement. If you find yourself analyzing, judging or criticizing a teaching or the messenger who brings it forth – especially if you find yourself thinking you know better how the teaching should be given – you should immediately see this as a danger signal. You can ALWAYS count on such thoughts to come from your ego and the dark spirits that I described in my comments on another letter, namely the Spoilers. Thus, you should realize that what makes you vulnerable to the energies of the Spoilers is that you have certain dualistic beliefs. And the intensity of your feelings about the teaching is a measure of how strong your attachment is to those beliefs.

The unwise students use the imperfections seen in others (in reality projected upon others by their egos) for not changing themselves. Wise students are always looking for the beam in their own eyes and welcome any opportunity to see it and pull it out. Thus, when a wise student comes across a teaching on this website or in any other spiritual teaching that challenges one of his existing beliefs, he or she considers the question: “Does my resistance to the teaching come from the fact that I am attached to a certain illusion?” If you discover such an attachment, a wise student always brings it out in the open and lets it go. An unwise student finds a flaw in the messenger and the message and uses it as an excuse for ignoring the attachment.

As a wise spiritual student, you should always try to expose your ego, and one of the best ways is to look for inconsistencies and contradictions in your beliefs, statements or actions. The reason being that the ego is always projecting its own viewpoints upon others. Thus, the ego will often be very critical of a supposed fault in other people precisely because it has that fault itself. The ego will accuse others of doing to it what it is already doing to them—and to you.

For example, there are certain spiritual students who have come to focus on a false image of love as always being gentle and kind, and they think they should never challenge any ideas or viewpoints. Yet what they don’t see is that they have become judgmental towards those who are more direct than themselves.

People who are blinded by gray thinking are very vulnerable to this form of judgment. For example, they adopt the attitude that a true spiritual teacher should be loving and tolerant of any human conditions. They truly believe that the only way to be loving is to never challenge people and that any such act is judgmental. Yet what they fail to see is that they themselves are very judgmental of those who do not conform to their definition of what it means to be loving. In other words, many otherwise sincere spiritual seekers think they are being completely loving, yet they are very judgmental toward those they label as being unloving.

This is a clear inconsistency, and a person who is starting to rise above gray thinking should be able to use these teachings to quickly let go of these ego games. Thus, the more mature spiritual seekers should be able to rise above the tendency of letting your ego single out one detail that it doesn’t like and then using it as an excuse for getting you to reject an entire teaching. There truly are teachings our our websites that can help all people become free from their egos. Yet if you allow your ego to trick you into rejecting the teaching, then the teaching obviously cannot set you free. I have seen spiritual people do this ever since I walked the earth 2,000 years ago. As far as the ego is concerned, there truly is nothing new under the sun. The specific arguments used may vary from time to time, but the mechanism is always the same.

Question: Hi Kim. I’ve been reading your website for a few months now and find it very interesting and also a well of useful knowledge. I posted a link to the “The Four Deadly Christian Assumptions” page on a forum that i go to and got this response from one of the posters.

“Long ago, I was once a member of a Christian group that practiced cult-like brainwashing techniques. Although the group’s theology was Christian, its practices certainly weren’t.
With that experience behind me, the aim of this website is as plain as day. It’s designed to suck in people who already have Christian sympathies. The cult initiation technique is a two-step process:
Tear down the subject’s current support network. Convince them that their family, or the local community of Christian believers, is somehow ignorant, or corrupt, or not holy enough. When the subject is convinced of this, move on to step 2.
Give the subject a new support network. Provide love and affirmation. And reveal special “true revelations”, available only to those in the group. Encourage a feeling of pride in these new revelations. After all, the subject is “special” now.

That’s exactly what this website is doing. They’re attempting to separate people from the community of believers because they’re not good enough, and then substituting the actual, present-day words of Jesus himself! And so they quote some verses? So what? Even Satan quoted scripture to Jesus. If someone really wants to learn Christianity from the internet, I’d suggest the Christian Apologetics Resource Network. I consider it a good introduction to Christianity. And they won’t attempt to separate you from your local churches. Or your family.

Dear GS, I wouldn’t say anything directly to the person because he/she obviously isn’t open to finding spiritual teachings beyond his/her present beliefs. I don’t see it as my calling to work with people who are not open to new teachings; I see it as my job to provide information for people with open minds. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me or the information I bring forth. If someone doesn’t find this website useful or disagrees with it, then I respect that person’s free will and hope we can simply part in peace.

In other words, it is not my job to pull people out of their present “support network;” it is my job to give information to those who feel that their current support network no longer meets their spiritual needs. Also, it is not my job to give people a new support network that I am controlling. I do not even run an organization but leave it up to visitors what they do with the teachings.

I have studied the topic of cults for many years, and my personal conclusion is that the central issue is balance versus extremism. An organization that exhibits cult-like characteristics is usually one in which the members have become spiritually unbalanced, so they take extremist viewpoints (black-and-white thinking) and a somewhat fanatical approach. This website continually stresses the need to stay out of the relative extremes of the dualistic mind and to take a balanced approach to everything. Obviously, the person could not see that and you might consider why not?

When talking about cults, I think you need to be aware how the word “cult” has been used and misused over the past several decades. You need to know that there is not one single, official, definition of the word, and a number of organizations have their own definitions that are often used to stereotype the members of other organizations. So when someone uses the word cult, you always need to take a careful look at the person’s background and motivation. I think anyone who will do a bit of research and look at some of the organizations that used the word cult during the 1980’s and 1990’s will find that at least some of them used the word in a way that was hateful toward others and therefore showed a clear lack of religious tolerance and a clear tendency toward extremism. As an example of how the word has been used, some fundamentalist and evangelical Christian churches have used it to label any church that does not agree with their literal interpretation of the Bible. Some such groups have publicly labeled the Catholic Church and more mainstream Lutheran churches as cults. Likewise, some consider Hinduism, Islam and Buddhism as cults. Of course, anything labeled as New Age is automatically seen as a destructive cult.

You also need to know that during the 1980’s and early 1990’s, there were several groups of people who used the media frenzy about cults (spurred by Jonestown, heaven’s Gate and the Branch Davidians) to get paid to forcefully kidnap and “deprogram” a number of alleged cult members. The idea was that since cults supposedly use brainwashing, it was justified to kidnap the cult members and brainwash them in reverse to help them out of the mental prison of the cults. Some people allegedly made big money on this, but the practice was eventually stopped by a number of lawsuits that convicted some of the deprogrammers for kidnapping.

I personally know a person who grew up in a Jewish family, and his parents hired some deprogrammers to get him out of a Christian religion he had joined. Needless to say this deprogramming frenzy created deep scars in many of the involved families. How would you feel if your parents had you kidnapped by people who aggressively tried to destroy your religious beliefs?

The next thing I would say is that you might take the person’s description of cult practices and apply them to Jesus. These are the definitions:

Jesus met all of these criteria. He told people to leave behind everything to follow him and he clearly gave special revelations to his disciples. I could give you numerous Bible quotes to support this, but here are just a couple.

Tearing down people’s support network: If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple (Luke 14:26)

Giving special revelation to the followers: But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples (Mark 4:34).

My point is that this is a very general definition of a cult that you can apply to any new religion. Jesus’ mission was to draw people away from the corrupt practices of the scribes and Pharisees, and he also came to give people new spiritual teachings. So, yes he had to appeal to those who were willing to consider leaving their “support network” and become part of a new spiritual movement. Just look at how Jesus was treated by the orthodox/fundamentalist people of his time. Do you have any doubt that they would have labeled him as an extremely dangerous cult leader if the terminology had been in use back then?

So we might consider what happens to people who believe in the above definition of a cult. They will obviously be afraid to leave their present religion. Yet what if that religion has been corrupted – as most religions of the past – and is now promoting a man-made interpretation that will not help people win their salvation. Don’t forget that Jesus said that unless our righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, we cannot enter heaven (Matthew 5:20). Would not the modern-day scribes and Pharisees attempt to scare people into staying in the religion they are controlling, as Jesus explains in this discourse?

I has been my observation that if you look at some of the groups that use the term cult, you will see that they generally fit the profile of a cult even better than the organizations they accuse. For example, many fundamentalist churches believe it is their duty to save people from false religions, which they truly see as anything but a fundamentalist church. So they evangelize very aggressively, seek to tear down people’s current support network and give them a new support network of true believers.

They also fit two of the characteristics of cults not mentioned by the person, namely that they encourage their members to isolate themselves from others and they strongly discourage their members from leaving. Most cults have a very clear barrier against people leaving, and the person here even mentions, “And they won’t attempt to separate you from your local churches. Or your family.” He/she also talks about the importance of not leaving the “community of believers.”

I found a list of the most common characteristics of cults and applied it to this website:

Apocalyptic Beliefs: Teachings focus heavily on the impending end of the world, and a great battle between good and evil.

This website makes it very clear that the world will not end. It does talk about the battle between good and evil, but it then teaches people to transcend the dualistic mindset and the epic mindset. This website is very clear about the need to avoid fear and imbalance, and it focuses on how we can bring about a better age here on earth.

Elitism: The group is expected to play a major, elite role at the end time.

This website doesn’t talk about an end time. It doesn’t have a clearly defined group of believers. It says that all spiritual people – from a variety of traditional and new religions – will play a role in bringing about a better age. It does not claim that this website will save the world.

Charismatic Leadership: They are led by a single male charismatic leader.

I am male, but I don’t see myself as a leader and think I generally keep a low profile. Besides, who would I be leading; where is the “membership” for this website?

Control: The leader dominates the membership, closely controlling them physically, sexually and emotionally.

Again, you can’t really dominate a membership that doesn’t exist.

Social Encapsulation: They are a small religious group, not an established denomination.

This does apply to the website—and to any new spiritual movement, including early Christianity. However, do the visitor’s to this website actually form an organized or coherent group?

Isolated community: The group (or at least the core members) lives together in an intentional community which is isolated from the rest of society.

Don’t see the community, nor the isolation. Instead, this website clearly states that people need to follow their inner direction over the teachings on this website or the leader of any organization. It does not encourage people to isolate themselves but to study whatever they feel moved to study from within. It also talks about the importance of people taking active part in society and bringing their spirituality into all aspects of their lives.

Paranoia: There is often extreme paranoia within the group; they believe that they are in danger and that they are being closely monitored and heavily persecuted by governments or people outside the group.

I personally don’t feel persecuted, even though I do get a lot of negative e-mails from certain Christians. Again, I have no group of members.

Us versus them: People on “the outside” are demonized. Information and contacts from outside the group are severely curtailed.

I don’t see an us-versus-them mentality on this website. I don’t see any attempt to prevent people from going to other websites, and I sincerely doubt you could ever control people through a website.

Weapons: The group assembles guns, poison, or weapons of mass destruction. They may prepare defensive structures.

I don’t own any guns.

Theology: They follow a form of Christian theology (or a blend of Christianity with another religion), with major and unique deviations from traditional beliefs in the area of end-time prophecy.

I guess one could say this website has a Christian theology. It does blend Christianity with other religions. There are major deviations with traditional beliefs. Yet there is no end-time prophecy.

As I said above, I think the central issue is balance. Some spiritual/religious organizations clearly have a fear-based us-versus-them culture that makes it very traumatic for people to leave. This website doesn’t have an organization, and there is no clearly defined membership. The teachings on the site talk a lot about transcending fear and achieving balance, they encourage people to treat others with love and I don’t see any way in which people are discouraged from leaving the site to study other teachings.

I have a hard time seeing how offering information on a website – that people must choose to visit, can visit anonymously and can leave any time – can be labeled as creating a cult, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised any accusation.

Finally, let me give my personal definition of a cult. It is an organization that causes its members to focus so much attention on the motes in the eyes of the members of other organizations that they completely overlook the beams in their own eyes. So, no I am not trying to start a cult.

If the answer is a “Yes” – even a hesitant yes – people will have various degrees of positive reactions to this website. If the answer is a “No,” people will have various degrees of negative reactions because they will feel threatened by the mere existence of this website and by the teachings on it.

The more detailed answer is that the reactions you see to this website are exactly the same types of reactions people had to me when I walked the earth in the flesh 2,000 years ago. How could it be otherwise, given that I am the same Being? Most Christians have been brought up with the naive image that I walked around with a halo around my head and that people instantly recognized me as a spiritual master or as the Son of God. Yet the scriptures clearly demonstrate that this is far from being the case.

Most people did not recognize me as being anything beyond the ordinary, and they would not have paid any attention to me had they not seen or heard of the miracles God performed through me. Others clearly thought I was a false prophet or a false messiah and that my teachings – which contradicted their scriptures, or their literal interpretations of those scriptures – were the works of the devil. Back then, only a few people were able to recognize the truth in my teachings, and even fewer were able to recognize me as a spiritual master. Fortunately, in this age many more have ears to hear the truth in my teachings and have open senses to recognize my Presence.

What is it that determines a person’s reaction to this website? There are two factors involved. When a person opens this website, he or she immediately begins to interact with the spiritual energies of my Being, my Christ Light. The question is whether the person will notice this, and the deciding factor is resonance. Is there anything in the subconscious mind (what we might call the energy field) of that person which resonates with the energies of my being? You might recall my statement:

Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you (John 6:53).

The meaning is that unless you have a portion of the Christ consciousness in your energy field, you have no spiritual life in you. And if you do not have any Christ light in your being, there will be nothing that resonates with my Presence.

If a person has Christ light, there will be a resonance in the person’s subconscious mind, but the question is whether this subconscious reaction will penetrate to the conscious mind. The deciding factor is whether the person is open to statements that go beyond his or her current beliefs. Is the person willing to look for truth, or has he/she created a mental image of what truth should be? Is the person looking for a higher understanding, or is he/she only looking for statements that confirm the mental image, which the person has decided must be the absolute or only truth? If the person is seeking to force reality to fit into the box of his or her mental image, then this will block the conscious recognition of the inner resonance.

So the conscious reaction of any visitor will be determined by the interplay of these two factors. Although a number of scenarios are possible, here are the most common ones:

Some people simply do not have any truth in them, and thus they recognize neither my Presence nor any truth in my statements. You might recall one of my more direct statements: “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him” (John 8:44). Some people have no truth in them because they have refused to absorb a portion of the Christ consciousness, even though I have offered it to every lifestream on this planet. For 2,000 years I have been the spiritual sun that God makes rise upon the evil and the good (Matthew 5:25), yet only those who have accepted my gift have absorbed a portion of my Christ Light. A person with no Christ light literally cannot recognize my vibration or any truth on this website. On the contrary, such a person will be agitated by my Light because it will be a strong contrast to his or her own darkness.
Some people have truth in them, and there is a subconscious resonance when they look at this website. Yet their minds are trapped in a mental box that is so closed that this inner reaction cannot penetrate to their conscious minds. Typical examples of this type of people were the scribes and the Pharisees, who were so stuck on their literal interpretation of the old scriptures that they could not recognize my Living Truth. You might recall my statement to Peter: “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 16:17). The “flesh and blood” of your outer mind cannot recognize the Living Christ or the truth he brings. So only a higher source can give you this recognition, and it comes in the form of the inner resonance. Yet if your mind is closed, you will not be able to hear or accept the inner prompting. So the more closed a person’s outer mind is, the less likely the person is to recognize or accept any truth on this website. Some people are so stuck on a particular interpretation of the Bible that if I say anything that contradicts their interpretation, they immediately reject the entire website. Of course, some people have used Christian doctrines to decide that I could not possibly be speaking to humankind in this age, so they reject the entire concept of the website. When such people find this website, my Light will instantly begin to challenge their assumptions, and the more attached they are to their present beliefs, the more agitated they will be. That is why some people become very angry when they find this website—just as the scribes and Pharisees did when they met me in the flesh.
Some people are more open-minded, and they will find some ideas they recognize as true and some that contradict their present beliefs. The question now is how attached they are to their present beliefs? Will they hold on to them, or will they allow me to guide them – through inner guidance – to a higher understanding? And, of course, as long as you are on earth, it is always possible for you to attain a higher understanding. Again, the question is whether you want truth or want confirmation of your current mental image?
Some people have overcome all or most of their attachments to their present beliefs and mental images. Such people will feel the resonance between their own inner light and my Presence. They will often recognize my Presence beyond the outer words found on the website.
Some people realize the often overlooked fact that words cannot adequately convey spiritual truth. Therefore, truth must be experienced, which can only happen when you are willing to look beyond the words. These people will understand that the outer words are not the real purpose for this website. The true purpose is to give people a direct link to my Presence, so that my Light can multiply the Christ light they have already absorbed into their beings (or give them a portion of Christ light if they have none). These people will not reject the entire website because they find some statements with which they do not agree. They will realize the limitations of words and go beyond the words. Eventually, they will be so attuned to my Presence in their hearts that they no longer need the website as an outer link—and that is the higher purpose for the site.
Some people do not have a portion of my Christ Light within them, but they have a portion of the Christ light of another member of the ascended masters, as I explain elsewhere. Such people will recognize the light on this website, yet they might not recognize my Presence and may in fact doubt that I am the real Jesus. The reason being that they do not resonate with my Presence but with the presence of another spiritual master. Yet if they are willing, they can still use the teachings and tools on this website to attune themselves with their personal master.

Let me comment on your observation that the website leaves few people indifferent. This is quite intentional on my part, and the explanation is quite profound and supremely important. To understand this explanation, people need to be open to the idea that everything I said 2,000 years ago has both an outer and an inner meaning. So the word “death” has an outer meaning by which it refers to the death of the physical body. Yet it also has an inner meaning, and one aspect of this is that many people on earth are literally dead in a spiritual sense.

As I already said, if you do not have a portion of the Christ Light, the Christ consciousness, within you, you are dead in a spiritual sense—although your physical body may seem quite alive. There are two factors that can produce this state of spiritual death:

Some people have no light in them.
Some people do have light, but they have created a closed mental box around their outer minds, so they cannot use their inner light. They have literally buried their talents in the ground.

These are the people about which I said:

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (Revelation, Chapter 3)

My point is that I am a spiritual teacher, and it is my assignment from God to save every lifestream on earth. To save a lifestream, I must give that lifestream a portion of Christ light, and I must inspire that lifestream to multiply that light (multiply the talents) until the person has put on the wedding garment, which truly is the Christ consciousness, as I explain throughout this website.

The problem is that before a lifestream can receive, accept and absorb a portion of Christ light, that lifestream must be awakened, it must be shaken out of its spiritual paralysis, it must be forced to come off the fence. And so a primary aspect of my mission is to never leave a lifestream the same as when I met that lifestream.

This is a point often misunderstood by people. I am not primarily trying to get people to agree with everything I say on this website. My primary goal is to awaken them so they cannot remain on the fence. I am seeking to disturb their sense that all is well, I am seeking to penetrate their closed mental boxes with a ray of truth. Even if a person rejects that truth at first, the truth can still do its work. And eventually the person can experience an awakening, as happened to Paul after he encountered my Light and was willing to let it open his inner sight.

So my primary goal for this website it to awaken every visitor by giving him or her a morsel of truth. And even if that truth is disturbing to the lifestream, it can still awaken the lifestream. In other words, it is better that a lifestream denies the truth – yet cannot forget that truth – rather than being completely indifferent to the truth. That is why I said:

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. (Matthew 10:34)

For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. (John 9:39)

It is my loving hope that every visitor will eventually be willing to let his or her eyes be opened by the light of my Living Truth.

This is an interesting question because it gives me the opportunity to comment on the differences in consciousness between an unascended and an ascended being.

Let me first say that there is an important purpose for having people actually submit a question to the website. By doing so, you demonstrate that you are willing to connect to me, Jesus Christ, and that is important because of cosmic law. As explained in my parable of the talents, all people are given certain talents. The talents you receive on this website are the basic teachings that do answer many questions. Yet to get further teachings, you have to be willing to multiply those talents instead of burying them in the ground—of your mind.

That is why I do not have unlimited opportunity to give teachings on this website. I can give basic teachings to get people to think beyond their current image of Christ. Yet I can give further teachings only when people ask. Ask and ye shall receive, so if no one asks, the law will not allow me to give.

I do have the ability to read people’ minds, but I rarely use it. Partly because I respect the Law of Free Will, so I afford people their privacy. And partly because there is no reason for me to know what you are going to ask before you ask it. Until you have asked a question, there is no purpose in me answering it. You see, to me the important point is not the answer but the process that leads you to ask the question.

I am aware that many people think my purpose for sponsoring this website is to give people answers. In reality, my purpose is different. My purpose is to help you find answers from within instead of giving you answers from an outer source. The purpose of this website is to help you discover and connect with the Spirit of Truth that is inside of you so that you can become spiritually self-sufficient instead of relying on an outer source for answers.

There are many people who think that life can be approached mechanically. They think that if only they had all the right answers, they would always do the right thing. This is similar to classical physics, where scientists believed that if only they knew enough about the universe, they could predict everything that was going to happen. If there was something they did not understand, it was simply because they did not have enough factual knowledge. Even thought quantum physics has proven that you can never know everything about the universe, many scientists still believe science will one day know enough to be able to explain everything.

Likewise, many spiritually minded people believe that if only they had enough outer, or intellectual, knowledge about the spiritual side of life, they would automatically attain a higher state of consciousness and enter heaven. The problem here is that entering heaven, being saved or attaining Christ consciousness is not a matter of attaining outer knowledge. This is reflected in my statement:

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke, Chapter 17)

The kingdom of God, meaning the Christ consciousness, cannot be known through observation, meaning outer knowledge. It can be known only by going deep within yourself and connecting to the source of truth that is within you. This is your Christ self, your I AM Presence and the ascended masters.

Do you see my point? My purpose for this website is not to give you outer knowledge of everything under the sun. I have no desire to turn the visitors of this website into modern-day scribes and Pharisees who can recite the letter of the outer law, but who have taken away the key of knowledge and have shut up the kingdom of God against men (Matthew 23:13). Those who have the letter of the law, that killeth, but have not the Spirit of the law, that giveth life (2Corinthians 3:6).

Instead, my purpose is to help those who have ears to hear to discover the source of truth within themselves, so they can get their own answers. Yet I also hope to help you see that Christhood isn’t simply a matter of having the outer answers to every question. It is a matter of merging with the source of truth, so that you become one with that source. In other words, you are not simply storing facts in your memory banks, you are rising to a higher level where you realize that the real mysteries of life cannot be confined to mere facts.

The real truth about God cannot be expressed in words. That is why the Ten Commandments tell people not to take unto themselves any graven image. You cannot confine God to a mental box, you cannot confine your Christ self and I AM Presence to a box and you cannot confine truth to a box.

Truth is like a river that always flows. When you take a part of that truth and express it in words that the human mind can comprehend, it is like taking a snapshot of the river. This is acceptable, but only as long as you realize that the real river is not standing still as is the snapshot. Therefore, you must not worship the snapshot and use it as an excuse for no longer searching for the river.

This is the essential problem with all outer religion. The ascended masters give someone a spiritual vision, and the person expresses it in words. Yet most people do not realize that any religion is simply a snapshot of the river of God. So they begin to think that God’s truth is a still photo instead of a living, ever-moving river. And they now begin to worship the snapshot and use it as an excuse for not engaging in the difficult task of always seeking to keep your mind focused on the river. They become lazy and want their minds to remain focused on the still photo instead of being always flexible and willing to move with the river of Living Waters.

So I hope you can see that the teachings on this website are simply snapshots that point to the existence of the river itself. Do not focus too much attention on the snapshots so that you cannot see the river. Do not focus on the trees so you overlook the forest. And most importantly, do not use the snapshots on this website as an excuse for not looking for the river of Living Truth that is flowing inside of you.

To return to your question, one might say that the answer to any question you might ask is already in the river of Living Truth. Yet by consciously formulating the question, you go through an important process of clarifying what you do not know. And the realization that there is something you don’t know becomes the open door through which you can contact the river of truth. The trick is to look beyond the factual answer to your question and realize that it is not nearly as important to get the outer answer as it is to connect to the river of truth. For when you do connect, you might get an answer that goes far beyond your question—if your mind is flexible enough to receive that answer without wanting it to conform to some outer doctrine or expectation.

This is what was truly understood by the Zen masters, and it has been understood by the true masters of every spiritual tradition. I hope some of you will use my teachings on this website to plunge yourself into the river of truth and thereby join the ranks of the true spiritual masters. I am like a child who has jumped into the ocean before his compatriots. I am now calling out to you: “Come on in, the water’s fine!”

Are the teachings on this website occult?

Question: Dear master Jesus: I have been talking to people and informing them about the books and this website. I have been very open and honest with them but most have told me that I am dealing with material involved in the occult. In most Christian practices the occult is viewed as satanic and should be avoided.

Thank you for raising this very important question. Let me begin by giving a common definition of the word occult, as found in the dictionary:

Related to or dealing with supernatural influences or phenomena.

Beyond the realm of human perception or comprehension.

Accessible only to initiates.

Hidden from normal view, concealed, secret.

If you read the New Testament with this definition in mind, you will see that every aspect of my teachings, as recorded in the scriptures, deals with the supernatural. Much of what I say is beyond the realm of human comprehension and cannot be understood through the relativity of the dualistic mind, which is the normal state of consciousness for most people. You will also see that I gave my disciples certain advanced teachings that I did not reveal to the multitudes [Mark 4:34].

Therefore, one could very well say that everything that is recorded about me in the official scriptures can be used to label me as an occult teacher. This is indeed what the orthodox Jews did to me when they brought me to trial and crucified me. Surely, they used different words, but the essence of their argument was that I went beyond their orthodox doctrines, and therefore I was not of the truth, not of the light, not of God. Consequently, they accused me of being of the devil.

I can assure you that if the terminology had been around back then, the orthodox Jews would have labeled me, Jesus Christ, as a very dangerous New Age Cult leader. They would have found ample ammunition for this accusation in the statements I made. I told people to leave their jobs and their families and to put me before everything else. I told people to be willing to lose their lives for my sake. Can you see how the modern anti-cult movement would have had a field day with these statements? Can you see how they would have denounced me and put a label on me as being of the devil?

Can you also see that even those in orthodox or mainstream Christianity, who claim to be my representatives on earth, have used a fear-based mindset to create the idea that anything which goes beyond orthodox Christian doctrines is occult and that anything occult is of the devil? It is erroneous to say that anything occult is of the devil. Occult simply means something beyond normal human comprehension, and this also applies to God. Would you label God as being of the devil?

In reality, Christianity has been turned into the same kind of fear-based religion as the orthodox Jewish religion that crucified me. This fear-based approach has been taken to the point that if I appeared in a physical body today and preached my true inner teachings, I would be persecuted by orthodox Christians. They would label me as being of the devil or call me a cult leader. Indeed, this is how some of them label the teachings I bring forth on this website.

As explained in the book The Secret Coming of Christ, those to take a fear-based approach to religion will reject anything that goes beyond their orthodox doctrines. They do this by creating an artificial label and saying that anything which goes beyond doctrine fits that label, and therefore it is of the devil.

This, of course, is a very immature approach to religion, and it springs from fear. It also springs from a refusal to take up the responsibility of becoming a Christed being and building your attunement with your Christ self, so that you can discern what is of God and what is not of God. It is a sad fact that many of the leaders in orthodox Christianity think that they represent me on earth, think that they are following in my footsteps, yet they are refusing to put on the Christ mind and discern between the true inner teachings of Jesus Christ and the outer doctrines that are like whitened sepulchers filled with dead men’s bones.

When you do put on the mind of Christ, you can easily discern between what is of the light and what is of the darkness. This then allows you to see through the superficial, man-made doctrines. It is necessary for a sincere spiritual seeker to recognize that the devil has a clear purpose. He is trying to fool those who are my best servants on earth. He is not concerned about those who are completely enveloped in the dualistic mind, because they are already in his power. The devil’s main concern is to fool those who have already found some truth but have not yet manifested the Christ discernment that makes it possible for them to see through the subtle lies of the devil.

These are precisely the kind of people that you are meeting in orthodox Christianity. They have seen the truth in my teachings, and they have the potential to rise to a higher level. Yet because they are not willing to confront their fears, they remain paralyzed by those fears. This, of course, is what the devil hopes will happen. The only way for people to become free is that they are willing to go through a difficult period of seeking to establish a direct inner communion with me and their Christ selves. Helping people do this is, of course, the entire purpose of this website.

It is a sad fact that many Christians refuse to exercise their power of discernment, and they will not look at anything beyond orthodox doctrines. For some of these people, this might be wise. If they are not yet ready to take responsibility for their spiritual path and make an all-out effort to increase their attunement with their Christ selves, they would not be able to see through the subtle lies of the devil. And therefore it might be safer for them to stay in a traditional religion for a time.

If you look at my discourse on the levels of spiritual attainment, you will see that some lifestreams are so confused or wounded that they need the outer stability of a traditional belief system in order to be healed. Yet there are many lifestreams in this age who need to come up higher in order to make further progress. They need to move into the phase of being spiritual seekers who are open to ideas that go beyond orthodox doctrines.

If they do not take this step, they will stagnate, and therefore they will essentially become the prisoners of the devil, whom they are seeking to avoid by taking refuge in a Christian church. In other words, there comes a point where a lifestream can no longer make progress by staying in a fear-based religion. To make further progress, the lifestream must run the risk of opening its mind to new ideas. Obviously, this leads to the risk that the lifestream might open its mind to false ideas. Yet it is a basic fact of life that if you are afraid of falling down, you will never learn to walk. In a very important discourse, I explain that any religion can become a trap that prevents your salvation.

Obviously, I am well aware that many lifestreams are facing the dilemma that you see outpictured in your Christian friends. They need to move forward and open their minds to a higher understanding of the spiritual side of life, yet they cannot quite let go of the fear-based approach to religion. That is why they cling to orthodox Christianity, which seems to offer them a safe haven. This is precisely why I have released this website and the books. My purpose is to give these Christians a way to open their minds to new ideas without being exposed to false ideas. Obviously, the ascended masters are also using other methods for bringing forth a variety of true spiritual teachings in this age.

Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee success in the material universe. My dilemma is simple. In order to help people come up higher, I must give them teachings that go beyond orthodox doctrines. Yet the very fact that the website and the books contain ideas that go beyond orthodox doctrines makes it predictable that some Christians will label these teachings as occult or even of the devil. Even I cannot solve that problem. I can only bow in respect to people’s free will and wait for them to make a better decision.

If you feel an inner prompting to attempt to help these people open their minds to a higher understanding, including giving them the teaching I have just given you, then I certainly will appreciate your help in this matter. Just make sure that you are non-attached to the outcome, as I explain in the last part of The Christ Is Born in You. LINK Present people with the truth to the best of your ability, and then set them free to make their own choices. As a representative of Christ, you should never attempt to influence people’s choices. That is what the devil has been doing since his rebellion against God, and it has never been the way of the Christ.

Do you see that the devil can win in two ways? One is to fool you into following the left-handed path. The other is to make you so afraid of the devil that you don’t dare to open your mind to anything new. If you are so afraid of the occult that you don’t dare to look at anything beyond orthodox doctrine, then you have allowed the devil to control you through fear. If my disciples had taken the same fear-based approach as that taken by many modern Christians, how could Christianity ever have been born? The orthodox Jews would have killed it when they killed me!

Living Christ or false prophet?

Question: I mean no disrespect to you in any way. And if you are the real Jesus then you will understand and welcome this concern. I am very careful to not follow false prophets. So I say this to you. If you are the real Jesus then great, Amazing, but if not then claiming that you are would make you a false prophet and then you will one day have to stand before the real Jesus. Again I mean no disrespect it just doesn’t add up to me. But then again only Jesus understands all things and has the answers. So i leave this in his hands for he is the almighty and all powerful one. So if you are the real Jesus then that is wonderful and then you would appreciate my inquiry, but if not then you have to think of the consequences.

I take no offense, and I feel no disrespect from you. I very much welcome your inquiry, and I am happy with the fact that you take care not to follow false prophets. That is indeed why the Bible says to try the spirits, whether they are of God. [1John 4:1]

I hope you recognize that trying the spirits is not something that can be done with the human intellect or the outer mind. I see many Christians who read the quote about trying the spirits, and they think the only way to do it is to compare any new teaching they come across to the orthodox doctrines of their particular church. They also believe that if anything goes beyond, questions or contradicts the orthodox doctrine, then it must automatically come from a false spirit. This, of course, is exactly what the devil wants them to believe, because it prevents them from opening their minds to the Living Word.

There is only one way to fully try the spirits, and that is to go into your heart and contact your Christ self, so that you can feel whether a particular teaching has been brought forth through the Living Word. As the scriptures also say, it is only the spirit that gives life:

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. (2Corinthians 3:6)

Only those words that carry the Spirit of God will give you the life you need in order to move higher on the spiritual path. That life cannot be put into words by a human being. That life can come only through the Holy Spirit that flows through the mind and heart of a human being.

I am indeed the real Jesus Christ. Obviously, I am a spiritual being, speaking through a messenger in embodiment. Nevertheless, it is the Spirit of the living Jesus Christ that is flowing through the words on this website and in the books that my messenger has brought forth.

You are right that any person or any spirit trying to pose as me or another ascended being will surely face the consequences of that deception. It is also true that every human being should be very alert and very concerned about deception, because there truly are many false teachers in the world, and more are appearing on the Internet every day.

However, truth is a two-edged sword. One edge points toward others, and the other edge points toward you. It is wise to recognize that you too have a responsibility as a visitor to this website. Let me use your terminology. If indeed I am the real Jesus Christ, then you should consider what will happen to those who visit this website and reject me and reject my Living Word.

Anyone who rejects the Living Christ faces the consequences of that decision. Those who masquerade as spiritual teachers, and are not anointed by the ascended masters, will face the consequences of that form of the denial of the Christ. Yet those who encounter a true teacher, a teaching that is sponsored by the ascended masters, and rejects that teaching will also face the consequences of that rejection.

So let those who read this be careful and consider that your responsibility as a human being is to always sharpen your ability to recognize truth—in any disguise in which that truth might appear. It is not enough to simply look at the outer clothing of truth because God has a right to disguise truth in order to hide it from the profane. The Creator truly does not cast its pearls before swine, yet it has written his truth in the inward parts of everything it created. Therefore, it is the responsibility of any true spiritual seeker to sharpen his or her discernment to see beyond the outer disguise, and thereby recognize the inner truth in the form of the Living Word.

Many people, including many Christians, have not learned to see beyond the outer disguise or the outer doctrines. They have expectations that are built from the relativity of the dualistic mind, and they seek to impose those expectations and those criteria upon any new spiritual teaching they encounter. If one small aspect of the teaching does not meet their approval, they reject the entire teaching. This is an all too common reaction from those who have not made a true commitment to me and the path of spiritual growth I brought as my unique gift to this planet.

Such people might think that they have the best reasons in the world for rejecting a teaching. Yet ignorance of the law is no excuse. To focus on the letter of the law and use it as an excuse for denying the Spirit of the law is no more acceptable today than it was 2,000 years ago, when I denounced the scribes and the Pharisees.

Did I not say that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees [Matthew 5:20], you will not enter the kingdom of heaven? Well, the righteousness that I am looking for is the Christ consciousness, and with that the discernment to know what is a true spiritual teaching that comes from God and what is a false teaching that comes from elsewhere.

You have found a true spiritual teaching that comes directly from the Ascended Jesus Christ through the heart and mind of my servant. If you reject this outer teaching, you will be rejecting me. As a spiritual teacher, I will always respect your free will. Yet I must tell you that all choices have consequences. Consider the consequences before you make the decision because if you do not, how could you possibly make a free choice?

If you study this website through the filter of the outer doctrines that you have been fed since childhood, you simply cannot make a free choice about the validity of these teachings. Therefore, you owe it to yourself to go into your heart and consider the teachings on this website with an open mind and heart. Do not ask yourself whether the teachings on this website conform to an outer, man-made “truth” that you have been brought up to see as infallible. Instead, ask yourself whether the teachings on this website conform to the Living Truth of God that IS infallible—yet has no infallible expression in this world.

In closing let me say that although I am a powerful ascended being, I am not almighty or all-powerful. Those adjectives describe only God, and as my beloved Mother has so eloquently explained, I am God but God is more than I am.
