Teaching psychology in the educational system

Question: When will Estonia’s educational system be changed so our young people can learn more about life beyond the things they currently need to learn?

Well, again, the change we are looking for in the educational system is not one specific change because different nations will need to design their educational systems partly based on their history and their national consciousness. It is clear that a nation like Estonia is behind in many ways because they are too focused on the mechanical outer learning. There are many countries in Eastern Europe that still have that remnant of the mechanical, the outer learning of facts rather than developing the personality of the students, and so on.

Nevertheless, the change that we are primarily looking for is that nations will begin to teach children more about psychology: how to deal with their own psychology, how to deal with other people’s psychology, and so forth and so on. You have now in many nations an increased awareness in the topic of bullying where some children are bullying others, and it is traumatizing them and interfering with their education. This is one step in the right direction, but it is not the ultimate step because what many nations do is they institute a policy where they try to suppress bullying. But it is much more constructive to teach the children about psychology and how the psychology works.

Now, of course, there are reasons why this has not happened already and, you know, my beloved, at the bottom of every issue, there are fallen beings who do not want the raising of the awareness. They do not want people to be taught about their psychology because then they will be able to resolve conflicts and the fallen beings cannot control them. This is not necessarily the primary reason in many countries.

There are actually many countries right now – Estonia, the Scandinavian countries, many European countries – that are at a sort of crossroads where the traditional conflict between science and religion has had the effect of preventing a real debate about what kind of beings we are as human beings, and how do we actually function as human beings. What is it going to take for us to have reasonably fulfilled lives? What do we need to know about our psychology in order to achieve those kinds of lives.

This is the shift we’re looking for, but it is more than the educational system. We actually require society to resolve this conflict between traditional Christian religions and scientific materialism. This does not mean they have to accept ascended master teachings. They just have to begin to debate this issue and realize that there is actually something to know about this topic that is beyond traditional religion and materialism.

When will this happen? Well, it is not realistic to expect that Estonia will be one of the forerunners for this, but it could potentially happen within the next decade, especially if some spiritual people around the world, or around Europe, would make it an issue that they would give calls and invocations on, that would hasten the growth of it.

It is also a necessary step that a country like Estonia begins to debate whether its school system is too strict, too focused on mechanical outer learning, and therefore suppresses the creativity of those children who actually have the potential to bring forth the ideas that would take Estonia into the Golden Age.

There is, of course, in all former communist nations a long tradition of suppressing creativity, and so it would be very valid if Estonia and other countries in Eastern Europe would begin to debate: “Are we somehow, without realizing it, continuing that effort from communist times that really was designed to suppress the individual creative effort? Is there something we need to change in our approach to children, in our approach to education, in order to allow certain children that are more creative, that do not have the traditional intellectual and analytical way of learning, to shine and to develop their abilities?” Because it is necessary for our nation these people are allowed to bring forward their ideas that only they can bring forth.”

Refugees and the political situation in Sweden

Question: I would like to ask the masters about the spiritual situation in Sweden, given the social and political background there. Next year there will be election in Sweden and the political situation is quite infected. Two years ago, Sweden received almost 166,000 refugees and it prompted feelings about the future of Sweden. When people have so many immigrants, what is the spiritual view?

Well, my beloved, the nation of Sweden has a great potential to be one of the forerunners for manifesting the Golden Age. In order to fulfill that potential, the nation of Sweden also needs to look at its national psyche and realize that it has certain tendencies in the national psyche that will block it from actually being one of the leaders in a new age.

On the one hand, Sweden has the desire to be a leader internationally, as you can clearly see in its history. At the same time, it has certain blocks in the national psyche that actually prevents this from happening. One of the major blocks is, of course, (as this messenger became aware when he lived there) the unwillingness to openly talk about issues and problems.

Now, you mentioned the issue of the large number of immigrants, and this is where you have this contradiction in the national psyche of Sweden. They want to portray themselves as an open and very tolerant society, and that is why they accept large numbers of refugees or immigrants. At the same time, they have in their national psyche that they are not willing to openly talk about problems. You cannot have people in large numbers coming into a country from a different culture without creating issues. If you are afraid of calling them problems, then call them something else. But it is absolutely inevitable that you will have issues that need to be resolved and they cannot be resolved if you are not willing to talk about it in an open and frank manner.

That is where the Swedes have the weakness that they do not want to talk about things openly. They want to pretend like the problem does not exist. They want to sweep it under the rug and think that it will go away by itself. This makes it impossible for most other nations to cooperate with the Swedes because, in many other nations, you have a much better willingness and tradition for openly talking about problems and issues, and thereby resolving them.

You have this contradiction that on the one hand, Sweden wants to be a leader, but they want to be a leader by having all other nations accept the Swedish way of dealing with problems. This is simply unrealistic. It is an immature attitude, and just as you see with the election process, the political situation will become more and more chaotic, and the Swedish people will be more and more divided over this issue simply because when you do not allow people to freely express their feelings and talk about an issue, you create more and more tension.

You will see that these more extremist parties who have more extremist views will gain more and more support. It is not because most people actually support the right-wing parties. This is what you have seen throughout history. It is not that, in the beginning, for example, most Germans supported the Nazi party, but they were dissatisfied with the traditional parties and so they tended to give support to those who would at least say something different, who were not afraid to address an issue.

That is what you see in Sweden as well. Those parties that are not afraid to talk about the problems with immigrants, they are getting support because the people feel that nobody else wants to listen to their concerns. It really is a question – at this point an open question – as to how severe does the political crisis in Sweden have to become before the mainstream politicians and the people in general become willing to look at this issue in the national psyche and simply shift and realize: “This needs to change. This cannot go on. We cannot be a leader in the modern world if we cannot talk openly and if we expect that cooperation means that other people do things our way.”

Fragmentation of nation states and the future of EU

Question: I would like to ask a question about this phenomenon recently in Spain, certain regions they want to secede from the rest of the country after reaching a certain state of affluence and wealth, and I have seen this happening in California. If the masters want to comment about the consciousness behind this.

I have just explained that, as the boundaries of nation states begin to soften, it is possible that several nation states will join together, either as one nation or as a region, and that eventually boundaries between nation states will disappear.

It may seem contradictory what I will say now, but the fact of the matter is that there are some nations that are today nation states, but they were created for a particular political reason that may have had some relevance in a historical period centuries or even decades ago, but that is not necessarily something that has relevance today or will have it in the future. When you look at the map of Europe, you certainly have some nations that really do not necessarily need to exist. You have some of the larger nations who have certain regions where, by force, that particular region, with a clearly different ethnic group or history, was forced to join that nation.

Actually, as part of the softening of the consciousness of nation states, you can see a period where there will be certain groups of people who will develop a strong desire to withdraw from the country in which they felt they were forced to join in the past. I mentioned Scotland, and certainly we could say that the Scottish people have a national awareness that is different enough from England that it could perfectly well be valid for them to have a separate nation, and if they wanted to be able to join the EU instead of being forced to withdraw along with the rest of Britain.

There are other nations in other countries in Europe where the same phenomenon could happen. You have already seen it, to some degree, how the former Czechoslovakia was split into two different nations. Really, what is happening in Spain is not that different. Now, this is not to say that I necessarily say that the outcome of the situation needs to be that Spain splits into two different nations. It could also be that what is going on there makes the Spanish government and the Spanish people realize that perhaps they need to create certain regions and give them, not necessarily the autonomy they have now, but create a certain change in the national attitude where you cannot, as the Spanish government, take these people for granted. You need to actually treat them with a greater degree of respect than you have done so far.

This is a complex issue that does not have a simple solution, but we can say so much that we will see more of this happening not only in Europe, but in many other areas of the world where there will be a certain particular group that, for various historical reasons, have been drawn into a particular nation. They will want to have either autonomy or completely withdraw and form a separate nation. They must then be allowed to do this because it is a natural stage in their national consciousness. It is also a natural stage in the home country’s national development that they allow these people to separate themselves out and therefore make the adjustments to the national consciousness that this will require.

What you see generally around the world, and certainly in Europe as well, is that you have certain nation states that were created by force, by forcefully conquering territory and suppressing other groups of people, forcing them to join that nation. There is a need to go back and look at this, and in a more peaceful, non-violent age, consider whether what happened by force in the past should necessarily be upheld in the present.

Now, I know that the EU has taken a strong stand against the people in Spain who want to secede because they do not want to split up the EU into more states. This is actually an example of where the leaders of the EU are out of alignment with the mind of Saint Germain, with the plans for the Golden Age. I understand that the leaders are afraid of conflict in Europe because they do want to go back to a state where there is war, or warring, between the nation states of Europe.

Nevertheless, it is inevitable that the EU must look at some of these issues and say: “Are there some states that really were created artificially and really do not need to exist?” An obvious example is Belgium, which was created in a rather artificial way, and therefore you can debate whether a Belgium that is divided into two parts should really be split up so that the two parts could join Holland and France.

I am not saying there is only one solution to this, but it needs to be debated, and the EU needs to be willing to look at these issues because you cannot take a snapshot of history and say that the way Europe was when the EU was created (the nation states that were there when the EU was created) that they need to be upheld forever. You need to be aware that there can be certain groups of people who felt forced into a nation state and in order to create a strong, unified EU, you must deal with those people and their concerns, and their rights.

I am not saying that there is a short-term solution to this issue, but I am saying that both the Spanish government and the EU are not in attunement with the Golden Age consciousness or they would have taken a much softer, more gradual approach to this issue. They would have been willing to discuss it and debate it, instead of basically trying to suppress what can only be considered a democratic movement within Spain.

Beings in the emotional, mental and identity levels

Question: How do beings in the emotional, mental, and identity realms experience life? Plus, do they see us?

This depends on what kind of beings we are talking about, as there are many different kinds of beings in the three other realms. As we have said, there are fallen beings in the lower levels of the identity realm, in all levels of the mental, and in most levels of the emotional as well.

The fallen beings in the other realms, many of them do actually see human beings, and are, of course, seeking to influence you and manipulate you. How do they see life? Well, that depends on where they are at. There are many fallen beings or even dark beings such as demons or entities in the astral realm and the emotional realm that have a very dark, very negative outlook on life.

They do not have a very sophisticated understanding. They by no means have the kind of understanding that you have been given by ascended master teachings. They are very self-focused. They have a very narrow vision, and they are often extremely agitated, very, very angry, constantly in an agitated state, constantly moving, constantly expressing their feelings. They are in the lower levels of what we call the astral realm, and what many people have seen as hell. There are beings who don not see human beings because they are simply is such a negative state of mind, self-centered state of mind, that they only see their own immediate environment.

Now, there are in the mental realm many fallen beings who are not having such a negative experience of life, but who still have a very narrow mindset of, for example, being very focused on a particular issue, topic, ideology or religion. There are, for example, many fallen beings in the mental octave who are very, very focused on scientific materialism and spreading a materialistic approach to life. During the communist era, many of the fallen beings in the mental realm were focused on communism and making people believe in communism, justifying it, explaining it, and so forth.

You will see many fallen beings in the mental realm who are very, very focused on coming up with these very complex, very intricate justifications for the materialistic mindset. There are even people in the physical realm who are attuned to these beings and who have written books where they bring forth these very complex explanations for why religion, for example, has evolved, why it was a mistake of evolution, but why it has still managed to survive for a time, and why it will eventually disappear, and many other topics and issues like this related to science.

Then, in the identity realm, you have some fallen beings that would very much object to being called dark or evil beings because they believe that they have simply a superior understanding of the universe, and how the universe works or should work. In a sense, within their own frame of mind, they have a certain positive outlook on life, and they think they are doing the right thing, and they will eventually prove that free will was a mistake and God will have to acknowledge this and raise them up as the new leaders, and so forth and so on. This is, of course, an illusion, but they are so identified with the illusion that they are actually having a relatively positive experience.

Now, as we have said (but we have never really expounded much upon it), there are also many I AM Presences that have sent extensions of themselves into the emotional, mental, and identity realms. Many of what people have traditionally seen as angels are such beings. They are, of course, very much seeing human beings because these beings in the three higher realms were created or sent by the I AM Presences in order to minister to those who are in physical embodiment.

In some cases, an I AM Presence has sent an extension of itself into the three higher realms in order to minister to the particular extension of itself that is in physical embodiment. In other cases, they have sent beings that have a broader ministry. These beings, again, have a positive outlook on life, they feel they are serving life. They are connected to some degree to their I AM Presence, but in some cases, they do not have as sophisticated of an understanding of life as we have given you in ascended master teachings because they are more focused on the specific task that they were sent to perform.

My beloved, this is a complex topic. Many more teachings could be given on it. Perhaps more will be given at some time in the future when we judge that it is time for you to know about this. But you really do not need to put so much attention on this because it can tend to overwhelm you by having too many things to process in your minds. Now, you understand what I just said about, you are exposed to a certain information overload from the material world, and we constantly face the challenge of how do we avoid presenting you with a mental overload by giving you more and more teachings about more and more topics and more and more complex topics.

Is one Baltic nation realistic?

Question: My question is about the one Baltic nation, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania becoming one nation. How realistic is this idea, and if it is realistic, how could this be achieved?

This is a complicated question because of free will. From a certain overall perspective, I have talked about the fact that, as we move into the Golden Age, the national consciousness will start to fade and become less and less important. This means that, starting in the identity, mental, and emotional levels, the barriers between the people of different nations will begin to soften and blur.

This means that in the physical level, there will be, in the beginning, less and less conflict between various nations, but there will also be a sense that we could cooperate more, and all would gain an advantage of this. In a sense, the EU is, at least a beginning attempt to create this state of greater cooperation between nations. You could say, in a certain way, that the EU is the beginning of an era that is not dominated by nation states.

I have given dictations before that as we move into the Golden Age, nation states will eventually disappear completely. There is a potential that there can be certain nations who have some similarities of culture or background, way of thinking, way of looking at life. They can begin to cooperate more or even to merge.

There is a potential, for example, for the three Scandinavian nations that have relatively similar languages and culture. However, as you can see, this potential has not been realized even though the Scandinavian nations have been free for a long time, and have also been fairly well developed nations. The same with the Baltic nations – you have very different languages and somewhat different cultural differences than the Scandinavian countries, but you could still see greater cooperation because you have approximately the same size, you have many ties, many similarities, and you would obviously have a much greater impact internationally if you could forge tighter bonds between you. You could have a stronger voice in the EU if you had a greater number of people than you have individually.

Nevertheless, it does not mean that this is the only way it can play out – that nations merge into one Baltic nation. It is certainly one scenario that is possible. But it could also be, as I said, that gradually these national boundaries begin to break down, and there can be certain regions where they begin to cooperate more, and therefore you do not necessarily have a need to officially merge certain nations.

In the Baltic nations, you would have a problem of language right away that would be a major issue to solve. The question is whether you actually have the resources where it would be economically feasible to merge into one nation, given the language problem. Even if you could set aside any cultural or political disagreements, or historical disagreements, just the language barrier could make it not the most practical solution.

There could be alternatives to this over time, where again as I have said before, there simply will have to come a point where the EU will realize that if it is to go to the next level, it needs to have one common language, and that common language needs to be English. If all nations would teach their children two languages – their national language, and English – then all nations could cooperate.

In the more long term, that could be what allows certain nations to merge without the language barrier. You could potentially say that England and Ireland are separated by the language barrier, but nevertheless, they are still closer to being able to communicate. I am not necessarily looking at a merging of England and Ireland. It is more likely that Scotland would actually secede from that union and join the EU, but you could definitely see that, as there was a common language, then nations could begin to either merge, or cooperate in a greater way where it does not really matter that they have different nationalities.

Now, of course, you could also come to that point where the language barrier is removed, that nations would say: “But it would actually be an economical advantage if we had one country, one national government, one national bureaucracy, one national police force, and so on.” This is one scenario that could play out.

In the short term, it is not realistic to create one Baltic nation, and that is not my primary concern. Then again, of course, as we move more into the Golden Age consciousness, there can come these shifts where suddenly an issue that seemed to be filled with insurmountable obstacles now is seen in a new light. The obstacles are suddenly seen as not being so insurmountable at all, but we can actually solve them fairly easily, and we can get advantage from solving them. Suddenly, things that seemed unrealistic a few years ago can now become a realistic scenario.

Truly, my attitude, my view of Europe, is a very positive, a very optimistic view where I do not have one fixed scenario. I actually look forward to seeing how different nations, different groups of people, are going to grow into the Golden Age consciousness. They may struggle for some time, but they will eventually rise above those struggles, and it will become a much more positive attitude, a much more positive consciousness in Europe. People will look at the future with a new sense of optimism that truly is realism. The realism that transcendence is always possible and that Europe, given its background and history, is one of the areas in the world where the potential for transcendence is the greatest.

Etheric retreats of the masters

Question: Can the masters open more about what an etheric retreat is?

Kim Michaels: I feel I can give you a little bit on that because they have given various teachings on it. It’s basically that the masters are here to help us in various ways. But they’re not allowed to descend into physical embodiment or to descend into a physical manifestation, in most cases. There are rare cases where they have been seen by people, but it’s very rare. So, in general they’re not allowed to go below the identity level, which is also called the etheric octave in some teachings. The masters through me generally call it the identity realm because they want to tie it in to the four bodies that we have. But it can just as well be called the etheric realm.

The masters have actually said that there are 33 levels of the etheric realm, and in the lower 11 levels, there can be fallen beings, so there are no etheric retreats below that level. The retreats of the masters are in the 22 higher realms of the etheric level. There are multiple purposes, but one of them is that it’s difficult for us in embodiment to travel in our finer bodies to the spiritual realm. But we have an identity body, which is already in the identity realm, so a little bit depending on which level of the identity realm we are focused in, it’s still not as big of a gap to travel to one of the masters’ retreats.

We can go there and we can learn specific lessons. We may not remember this consciously, although there are people who remember. Many people have had, just before you awaken, what they call a lucid dream, a more clear dream, that you have been in some kind of learning environment. I’ve had this several times in my life, a sense of being in a learning environment with other people. That’s an example of your consciously remembering having been to one of these etheric retreats. But even if you don’t consciously remember it, you can still have retained the lesson you learned. You can sometimes wake up with an insight that you didn’t have the evening before, and you just suddenly understand something. Or during the day, now suddenly you understand this, and that can be a result of you going there.

Now, the masters also, of course, can release light through these etheric retreats to the other realms, mental, emotional, physical. That’s another reason they have them. You can find various descriptions of the retreats in some of the old teaching. There was a movement called the I AM Movement, they have some descriptions of this, for example the Cave of Symbols that Saint Germain has over the state of Wyoming in the U.S. They have some very vivid descriptions of this. (In a book named Unveiled Mysteries)

There is also a very good book by the Summit Lighthouse called The Masters and Their Retreats, which lists all of the masters, all of their retreats, their physical locations, but also has a short description, and sometimes a longer description, but in most cases at least a short description, of the retreat. If you want to know more about it, that book is the number one source for it.

The complexity of the I AM Presence

Question: I have a question about I AM Presence, because we are given a concept of a spiritual being. I wonder if part of the I AM Presence focuses on us, our Conscious You, but if the rest of the I AM Presence is focused totally on us, or the I AM Presence has some kind of life in the spiritual world? This is connected a little bit with fallen beings, because fallen beings are falling from different spheres. The I AM Presence cannot get bored, but is it still learning from fallen beings?

The I AM Presence is a very complex being. What we have given you is, in a sense, a simplified teaching about the I AM Presence. There are several reasons for this. One is, of course, that words are not very adequate when it comes to describing the I AM Presence. The other is that, as long as you are in embodiment, it is difficult to understand or grasp the I AM Presence. You can have mystical experiences of connection to your I AM Presence, of oneness with your I AM Presence, but you are not actually going to understand what your I AM Presence is. No matter how many teachings we give you, you will not intellectually understand what your I AM Presence is. That is another reason we try to give you some concepts that can help you primarily connect to the I AM Presence, and not primarily understand it in an intellectual way.

It is correct to say that the I AM Presence is a very complex spiritual being, and it is not completely focused on you and the life you are leading here. There are actually I AM Presences who have sent more than one extension of themselves down to various levels or places. There are I AM Presences who have more than one extension of themselves in embodiment in the physical octave. Some have extensions in the emotional, the mental, and the identity realm.

This is something that, of course, you do not really need to be concerned with because it does not affect your relationship to your I AM Presence. The I AM Presence is fully capable of focusing on you, and giving you what you need in order to grow. You do not need to know: Does my I AM Presence have other extensions and where are they? It is safe to say that you will not meet them while you are in embodiment on earth because an I AM Presence does not send two extensions of itself to the same planet because it wants to have a variety of experiences.

Another topic is, of course, what happens to the I AM Presence of a fallen being. Now, we have attempted to explain to you that, regardless of what you have gone through on earth, and regardless of the fact that you have come to a point where you have identified yourself as a human being, and regardless of the fact that you may not think that you have made much spiritual progress for a long time on earth, your I AM Presence has still gained positive life experiences and life lessons that it is using constructively.

This is not the case with a fallen being because when a person or being goes into the fallen consciousness, there is not really much of a life lesson to draw from this other than: “This doesn’t work.” The I AM Presence is not unintelligent. It does not take the I AM Presence that long to figure out that the fallen consciousness does not work. That is where an I AM Presence, in most cases then, will send other extensions of itself down so it has a variety of experiences and therefore it can still grow. Then, it can allow that extension that has fallen to take whatever time it takes in the hope that it will one day turn around and begin the upward path.

We can basically say that when a being has fallen, the I AM Presence does not put any attention on it until the being eventually begins to awaken and then is open to assistance from the I AM Presence. Then, that I AM Presence will likely send extensions of itself elsewhere so it can continue to have a variety of input.

NATO forces in Estonia

Question: Many people in Estonia don’t like that NATO forces are in Estonia. Are there some hidden motives associated with the presence of NATO forces in Estonia? Many people think that it’s cause for a new war, or that it is a power play between the West and Russia. What can we do to ease this tension?

Kim: It’s my understanding, correct me if I’m wrong, that the government of Estonia asked NATO to station these troops here, right? But, of course, they didn’t ask the people what they wanted. Do you have an idea of how many people are against this? [Discussion following indicating that there might be more people who are for than against the troops’ presence, and what might be their motives.]

Well, my beloved, you could say that any time military forces are used, there is a power game behind it. But, of course, a power game is never one-sided, so obviously you see that the Russian actions on Crimea and in Eastern Ukraine have been one aspect of the power game. It then forced NATO to feel that they had to respond to this, and also that they felt they had to respond to the requests of several governments (both in the Baltics and elsewhere) for some reassurance that Russia could not start doing what they had done in Ukraine, in their countries.

Is there a bigger power game behind this? Well, in a sense there is always the power game that the fallen beings are seeking to create conflicts. They will use whomever is vulnerable to their control and manipulation, who then becomes the human being who makes the decisions that creates this kind of conflict. We have before spoken about the situation in Ukraine and that we do not support the actions of Russia because it would be to a much greater benefit of the Russian people to create much better cooperation between Russia and the West, and avoid this kind of conflict that sees Russia isolating itself more and more in the minds of the Russian people, and in practical matters as well, from the West.

Of course, this is not to say that the West has entirely pure motives because there are people in the West who are vulnerable to the fallen beings and who are vulnerable to various power games. But it is fair to say in this situation that, had Russia not done what they did in Ukraine, then those troops would not have been stationed here.

It is, I think, fair to say that, for example, the Baltic nations have a desire to evolve without any interference from Russia as they have had in the past. That is why they have elected to join NATO and the EU. Of course, NATO is based on the founding principle that if one nation is attacked, all the others will come to their defense. What happened after the Russian incursion was that some nations in Eastern Europe began to question whether NATO would actually live up to that principle, the Musketeer Oath, as it is called. The leaders of NATO felt obligated to respond to kind of calm those fears.

It really is up to the people to ask themselves what they want. It is not that this necessarily increases the risk of war. It most likely decreases the risk of war because it does demonstrate that NATO is willing to respond and that it can make, whether it is Vladimir Putin or other people in Russia that make that decision, make them realize that this is not something they want to go further with. So it is better sometimes to stop a problem at an early stage before it has escalated too far.

Naturally, Estonia is a democratic nation and a government that is elected by the people has a right to make such a decision. If there is a sizeable minority that is against it, then they have the democratic tools to make their voice heard. If they can gain support from a sufficient number of people, then obviously they can make their nation respond. So that is up to the people. But as in terms of increasing the risk for war, I would say that it decreases it, although, of course, it can also be used by Russia as a validation for why Russia needs to defend itself, and why the West is aggressive. You have already heard the rhetoric. But still, by drawing a clear line and saying: “We are willing to respond,” it is decreasing the risk of war at the present level.

Stress and pressure in the mental body

Question: A question about how many people today are feeling very intense mental pressure, and are having difficulty maintaining their peace and calm. The questioner mentions listening to music or radio shows to “suppress” the intense mental pressure. His question for the masters centers on whether this is just a personal issue or whether it is more widespread and tied to unease in the mental body.

We have before spoken about what we have called mental overload, or information overload. There are, of course, multiple reasons why people feel an extra tension in the mental body, but one of the primary reasons is that little device that you all have in your pocket and it gives you instant access to news from around the world. Suddenly, your mental body is asked to deal with a much larger volume of information and a much wider range of information than in previous ages. Just to categorize and file away this information takes mental effort.

Besides that, you have, of course, a more general reason in the sense that the world for the last, over a century has become more and more mental, more and more intellectual. People know more, people are demanded to know more. The world has become so fascinated with technology based on a linear, scientific approach to knowledge that, again, peoples’ mental bodies are simply being so filled up with information.

If you consider, for example, what the average person was required to know a hundred years ago compared to what the average person is required today, you would see that it is a much larger volume of information. There is also the greater focus on rational thinking, which, again, is a challenge for the mental body to deal with.

So many people today have questions about life. There are the fundamental questions of life, the deeper questions of life, but there are also many other questions about practical, everyday life. Because people are not trained, or made aware of their intuition, they cannot use their intuition to find answers, so they attempt to find answers through the mental body. As we have already said, there is a limit to what you can understand about life through the linear, analytical mind.

You have many people who have risen to a level of awareness where there are certain questions about life that are important for them. They cannot fully ignore these questions. They can suppress them, put them aside, but they cannot fully ignore them. Even if they are not quite conscious of thinking about it, their mental bodies are continually dealing with these questions and seeking to come up with a rational, linear explanation. Since no such explanation can be found, this creates an ongoing tension in the mental body.

Of course, there are various ways to deal with this. One of them is the mindfulness that has become popular in recent years. Another is yoga. Another is, of course, our teachings, invocations, and decrees. But really, the ultimate way to deal with this is to realize that there are questions that cannot be answered by the mental mind, but you have intuitive faculties so you can receive answers from a higher level.

You see, my beloved, there are certain questions about life, such as, “Who am I?” and this question cannot be answered satisfactorily by the mental body, by the linear, intellectual mind. You can get some sense of who you are through your identity body, but your identity body is not as linear, intellectual, analytical as the mental body. It requires that you can neutralize the analytical mind in order to connect to your identity body, and, of course, ultimately you need to receive answers from beyond the material realm in order to know who you are and why you are here, and that means, again, your intuitive faculties (the nonlinear, non-analytical faculties) need to be used.

Basically, when people are not doing this, well, that increases that tension that they feel. Many people have risen to a level of awareness where it is natural for them that they begin to deal with these questions and find a resolution to them. When they cannot, well, then all that is left is tension.

The Rohingya refugees from Myanmar

Question: This is a question about the Rohingya refugees. What do the masters have to say concerning the atrocities that have been perpetrated upon the Rohingya refugees from Myanmar. Why has this been happening, and why has Aung San Suu Kyi held her silence on the matter when leaders of the free world have repeatedly called on her to condemn those responsible for these atrocities.

Naturally, we do not condone what is happening in Myanmar. And we do not condone the behavior of the leader who elicited such great hope from the people of providing a new freedom. But the reason is actually a very complicated issue of the collective consciousness of the people, and although they were able to get a new leader and make some progress, they have not been able to rise above the old consciousness. The leader cannot go too far beyond the consciousness of the people, so you have this very unfortunate situation.

It is, my beloved, simply one example of how, when people are trapped in the duality consciousness and the identification with physical matters, then, all of a sudden, these outer differences, such as religion or race or ethnicity, assume an importance in their minds that truly makes no sense. When the people are too trapped, they cannot see beyond this and so all of a sudden, it is as if this outer difference is more important than anything else, and people forget their basic humanity.

It is clear that there is a failure of leadership, but again, you cannot truly blame the leader and say the leader should have done something that was too far beyond the people of the nation because many leaders are not able to do so. In fact, you could say that in a sense, no leader is able to do so, although some people can use force to go to a greater extreme than the consciousness is actually ready for, or mandating. At this point, we have no further comment on it other than obviously this should not be taking place, and those of you who feel so can use our invocations and make the calls for this. You could certainly use the new invocation of Astrea to make calls for the nation of Myanmar to awaken to a higher potential.

Ascended masters and Hungary

Question: What ascended master might be connected to the Hungarians, and what is the connection to Saint Germain and Transylvania? Also, a question about Master Rakoczy, whose name I read in a book of ascended masters as “Master R.” There was a Hungarian called Rakoczy. Is there an etheric retreat of Saint Germain in Transylvania?

Kim Michaels: It is said that Saint Germain was embodied in the House of Rakoczy so there’s a connection there, but I’m not aware of an ascended master called Rakoczy. Master R is usually the Great Divine Director. That’s another name for the Great Divine Director. There is a House of Rakoczy.

Summit Lighthouse has a book about the retreats of the masters. They often are not exact about the location of a retreat because the etheric retreat can span a much wider area than just one particular location, but it varies a little bit. I know, because Paul the Venetian’s retreat is said to be Chateau de Liberte in France but he’s also said that it covers a much wider area than that. I don’t sense they necessarily want to pinpoint it anymore to a particular location.

Sometimes they are a little mysterious about this because they don’t want people to be too focused on the physical location of a retreat. I have actually met people who are ascended master students’ who got very, very, almost obsessed with this. They especially were obsessed with the Cave of Symbols, the retreat that Saint Germain has in Wyoming. It is over a mountain called Table Mountain, but there are several mountains in the state of Wyoming called Table Mountain.

These people had gotten the idea that they knew which was the right one and they were going there, but then on the way all kinds of weird things happened so all of a sudden, they got scared and ran away from there, thinking they were chased by UFOs. I’m just saying, you know, I think the masters deliberately don’t give us such a precise location because they don’t want us to do that kind of thing. It’s kind of like the people who travel all around the world to these sacred sites and try to get some kind of peak experience there.

When you think about it, it’s an etheric retreat. You can only go there in your etheric body. And your etheric body is not limited by time and space as the physical, so you don’t really need to have your physical body in this particular location in order to go to an etheric retreat in your etheric body. It’s not necessary to know so precisely. But you can be in a general area and it can sometimes help you tune in to the retreat. They are not really encouraging us to travel to these physical locations, although I did once go to Arkhangelsk in Russia, but it wasn’t like I had a sense that there was a particular spot where the retreat was or where it was better to tune in. It was not really that I had that clear of a sense of it. I don’t sense they have anything to add to that.

Power games in spiritual communities

Question: I have often seen some ego patterns outplay themselves in spiritual groups, even among ascended master students. Do the masters have any recommendation on how to work together in spiritual groups?

We always have the recommendation that when you are you are working as a team: maintain harmony. It is so important to maintain harmony in situations like this.

We have so many times seen in the past where ascended master students have not been able to maintain their harmony and it has created friction or conflict in the group. It has split apart groups, and people with the best of intentions have not been able to carry them out because they were not sufficiently focused on the need to maintain harmony. That, of course, relates to what we have said about going global. I am not here talking specifically to those in Korea, but I’m talking in general about anyone involved with ascended master work.

The Golden Age is the age of community. The Aquarian Age is the age of community. Community means, as we have said before, coming-into-unity. But that means that you can only come into unity with others if you have all depersonalized your lives and gone global to a certain extent so you are not using the group effort for some personal agenda that comes from unresolved psychology or just plain outright ego.

So many times we have seen in the past how power games have played a destructive part in ascended master groups. We see, for example, that there is a tendency that those who are most eager to do something, do so out of a personal ambition. They either want to have power over others or they want to take personal credit for doing something. This is something that we simply will not allow in this dispensation, and that is why we have gone very gradually, gone very slowly, with recommending any kind of community. Because we need to make sure that we do not repeat the patterns we have seen in the past. We are not asking you to be perfect, but we are very mindful that we do not want to repeat what we have seen so many times in the past.

You have those who are the most eager students to do something, but they either have a desire for power or a desire for recognition. Therefore, they are willing to put forth a big effort, but then they also demand that those who are working with them should submit to their personal agenda and either give them power, give them a sense that they are special, idolize them in some way.

We have seen the creation of a hierarchy of people in spiritual organizations where some clearly have set themselves up in positions where they are more important than others. We are looking for a community of equals, and we are looking for a community of people who are free enough in themselves that they can talk freely with each other.

It is not a matter of everybody always being perfect. It is perfectly fine if some of you go into some kind of ego pattern, but then you need to be free enough that you can allow those in your group to tell you: “I think you are now being a little bit unbalanced, I think you are not looking at this from the Middle Way, you are being a little too extreme, you are being too intellectual,” whatever it may be.

You need to strive in ascended master groups to have this free communication between you where you can say to each other whatever you feel the need to say without the ego being offended and immediately going into denial or a defensive position, or an “I’m going to attack you back” position. These are games that, quite frankly, we need you to grow out of because we have grown out of them in the sense that we have no longer any patience for this, and we will not see this be outplayed in any ascended master community that we sponsor. I am therefore saying into the collective consciousness: “Enough is enough. I have had enough, and if you have had enough, I welcome you to my heart. If you have not had enough of playing these games, go elsewhere.”

Korea is the key to Asia

Question: Regarding the ascended master conference to be held in Korea this July, do you have any advice or recommendations for the students who will attend to have the maximum effect of the conference?

We have no recommendations for the simple reason that you are doing everything that is necessary, everything that we want to see happening.

I am very grateful to those of you who have been willing to organize this, because as this messenger tuned in and realized the other day, from an ascended master perspective, given the situation that exists in Asia right now, Korea is the key to Asia. Korea is the key to spreading a Golden Age awareness in Asia.

China is too closed, China is too big. Japan is too closed. India is too scattered − too scattered among all the different gurus who are pulling people in all kinds of directions. So Korea is our best opportunity to break through and start bringing more of a Golden Age awareness and also more of an awareness of the ascended masters and our teaching. So therefore we are grateful, we look forward to the conference, and we certainly have many exciting things to release.

Speaking to people about spirituality

Question: In view of the fact that many of us have already been in this particular embodiment for a considerable number of years and might not have huge quantities of time left in this particular embodiment, how do we come to speak the Living Word in the same way, say, the apostles did under the descent of the Holy Spirit? How do we move to that level?

This answer was given by the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels at a conference in Holland, 2016.

There is a tendency to idolize everything, so there is a tendency to think that the apostles could speak in a way that is beyond what most people could ever envision doing for themselves. We are not talking about the Living Word only being a dictation, for example.

When you are talking to someone in a conversation and what you are saying flows from a deeper part of your being − flows from the heart where you are expressing yourself with this inner feeling of peace and conviction − that is also the Living Word. Many of you can already do it. In fact, all of you have done it. You may not have realized what you were doing, you may not have labeled it, but you have done it.

When you speak from a state of love, from a state of peace, from a state of freedom where you are freely sharing yourself, sharing what you believe, you have no intention of converting other people. You are not trying to force them or put anything upon them, but you are sharing of yourself. That is the Living Word, and many of you will know you can do this, and you can very quickly come to realize this, and you can very quickly come to feel: “Ah, there is the flow!”

You can also come to feel when the flow is not there, when you are perhaps coming from an intellectual perspective, where you are seeking to present some kind of argument to people that will convince them from an intellectual level. You are frustrated because for every argument you present, they have a counter argument, and you never seem to get anywhere. You can have conversations where you have been going on for some time trying to convince somebody and suddenly you feel a shift. Now, you are just speaking from the heart, and all of a sudden you are connecting to the person at the heart level, and both of you are out of your heads, and this is also the Living Word.

It is not so much a particular outer expression—it is certainly not something that is beyond any of you. It does not require you to speak a certain way with a certain tone of voice. You may hear a dictation spoken a certain way because that is the way it flows, but it is not the totality of the Living Word or the only way that the Living Word can flow. Therefore, many of you are already expressing the Living Word.

How do you become better at it? Well, by working on your psychology, using the tools so that you can go global in the sense that you are not talking to people in order to fulfil some kind of emotional, mental pattern, for example, the need to have validation from others. If you are speaking with the desire for validation, for example, you will always be disappointed if people do not respond the way you expect, and in most cases they will not respond the way you expect. You need to get beyond that, and then you can speak to people where you are setting them free, but you are also setting yourself free. The more you can set yourself free, the more you will be an exponent, an open door, for the Living Word.

The Living Word is not saying particular words in a particular way. The Living Word is a flow, is a flow of love from the Spirit. When you feel that in your heart, most of the people you are talking to will also feel it. Those who do not feel it—you are not discouraged, you are not disturbed, you just move on to someone else that you might be able to help.

You cannot help everybody. This messenger had the mistaken belief for many years that if he was resolved enough in his own psychology − if he had raised his level of skills, his level of knowledge and mastery to a certain level − then he should be able to help everybody. He should be able to find something to say to any person that would help them.

This is a mistaken belief that is not based on the recognition, first of all, of free will, second of all, the fact that people are at so many levels of consciousness and awareness. When you have raised your level of consciousness to a certain level, you cannot reach a person who is at the lowest level of consciousness allowed on earth. You have nothing in common, you almost do not even have a common language in terms of concepts and feelings and experiences and ways of looking at life.

That is why you have to set yourself free from all of these contrived evaluations and analyses of how you are supposed to speak the Living Word. Be yourself. I know that being yourself does not mean do anything you want, say anything you want. To fully be yourself you need a certain level of resolution of your psychology, but many of you have reached that level already where you are free enough to be relaxed, to be at peace, to flow with love, and then you just say to yourself: “I do not have to be perfect in order to be able to express the Living Word, I just have to be relaxed, to be centered in the heart, to be flowing, and not take things so seriously.”

My beloved, we are really desiring to raise you to a level where the spiritual path is joyful for you, where expressing the Living Word is a source of joy for you, not a source of stress, not a burden, not this anxious feeling of: “Am I doing the right thing? Could I be doing something wrong? Is somebody going to criticize me? Am I going to make karma? Are the masters not going to like what I am doing?” All of these considerations, we would love to see drop from you so you are free to be yourself and enjoy the time you have left in embodiment.

Feel the flow of joy, the joy of being in embodiment, the joy of raising your consciousness, the joy of walking the path and interacting with us. This is what we would all love to see for all of you, and all spiritual people around the world. We do not want you to be so burdened, to be so serious. We want you to be joyful.

Debate about the money system

Question: Saint Germain spoke about the financial system this morning, and the Netherlands has an initiative to change the money system. They brought into Parliament how the financial system works, and they suggested that the banks should stop printing money, and the money should be related to real value again. Does Saint Germain have a comment on that?

Well, these and many other similar initiatives are, of course, what I desire to see. They are a forerunner for bringing the Golden Age financial system into manifestation, because there must be a raising of awareness, there must be a debate.

I have already said several times that money needs to be tied to real value and that, as we have said in this conference, you need to stop allowing an elite to steal the money and the value of the labor of the people. Many more initiatives can and will come forth, and they are all of value in terms of shifting consciousness.

It is not that you can necessarily point to these initiatives and say they have the only solution, or they have the final solution. As I have said, the process of reforming the economy is a process. It will go through stages, and there is not necessarily one way to arrive at a single end goal, because there is much room for individual creativity in various nations to organize their system as best fits them and their level of awareness.

Free speech and democracy

Question: A question about free speech. For example, free speech has recently been limited in Turkey by Erdogan because a German poet wrote an insulting poem about him. You said, if you know something, you have responsibility to speak. What does Saint Germain have to say about it?

Well free speech is a very, very challenging issue. I am actually happy to leave it somewhat challenging because different nations need to approach this differently according to their stage of development.

It is clear that what is happening in Turkey is actually a backwards step for the Turkish nation. The way some of the European nations have responded to this is not the highest possible response. It is, of course, also true that when you have the freedom to say anything you want, you need to be responsible for what you are saying. That is why it is not, in the long run, a healthy development that so many people can express themselves anonymously on the Internet. It does not help them grow. It actually only gets them further and further into a downward spiral of negativity because there is nothing that challenges their negativity.

It is clear that free speech is under responsibility. You are responsible for what you are saying. Now, on the other hand, it also needs to said that when you put yourself out in public view, you cannot be sensitive to what people say about you. You have to be thick-skinned and not easily insulted. You certainly cannot adopt the attitude that, because you are the supposedly democratically elected leader of a nation, people cannot say whatever they want about you. There comes a point where, if you reach a position like that, you need to have enough largesse that you can simply say: “Well, that person may have said something about me that was highly insulting, but I choose not to be insulted because I realize that in saying it, the person has actually said more about himself than about me.”

It is clear that what the particular German poet expressed was, quite frankly, a very low level of consciousness and a very low level of intelligence. In a sense, you could say, should that be covered by free speech? Should people be able to hurl insults indiscriminately at each other as they often do on the Internet? Therefore, it is an issue to debate. Where does a nation draw that line?

You have also seen in some nations, where there are politicians who have, for example, created a Facebook page and they get such hateful responses from people that they basically decide either that they do not want to have a Facebook page, or that they do not even want to be politicians. You can have a situation where free speech has been taken to the point that it is a free-for-all to hurl insults at anybody that stands out in the public, and therefore nobody actually wants to hold any kind of public position.

Of course, as is always the case, what we would like to see – and certainly what we will see in the Golden Age – is that politicians are sensitive to the Ascended Masters and the ideas we are bringing forth. Even if they do not recognize our presence, our existence, they are sensitive to receiving ideas. But you have to be realistic and say that for some time, it will be so that people who are sensitive above will also be sensitive to what is happening below. You are sensitive vertically to the masters and their ideas, but you are also sensitive horizontally to peoples’ reactions.

Therefore, we do not want to see a situation where people do not even want to seek public office because they know they are sensitive and they know they will not be able to handle the hateful reaction they get from people. Is there one solution to this problem? No. It is a process that will take time, and different nations need to work it out in different ways.

In a sense, you can say that the solution chosen by Germany is a fair way to let the system work. Who says that the person will be convicted? But there is, in a sense, nothing wrong with letting it be tried in the court system, which in Germany is independent of the Chancellor’s office, and so the process might work and produce something that brings the nation forward. In Turkey, of course, there is not enough independence and therefore the process could not work.

On the one hand, I am balancing the view so that I do not want free speech to be a situation where anybody is free to insult anybody without having any responsibility. On the other hand it is clear that you do not have free speech in Turkey at the moment, and this is seen by how the Erdoğan government is taking over media outlet after media outlet and intimidating those who have not been taken over. Just as Putin has done and is doing in Russia, as they are doing in China, as they are doing in many Arab nations, and in other nations around the world.

This is not free speech and this is not a situation that will stand in the Golden Age. Turkey, in its present condition, cannot move into the Golden Age consciousness, and it is a very undecided question whether Erdoğan is the kind of leader who can bring the Turkish nation closer to the Golden Age consciousness, or is actually going to take Turkey into a downward spiral as he has already started to do.

Channeling, spiritual communities and teachers in the Aquarian age

Question: You said yesterday that you would not see yourself as a spiritual teacher. And that made me aware of the fact that, well, if you don’t have the role of a spiritual teacher, then I cannot take on the role as a spiritual student and lean back and confidently take in the teachings that are coming. Discussing about quality in the group, still there is one equal sitting in front of many equals and I would like to ask whether the masters could maybe give a vision of the next level how this group or other Aquarian Age groups could work?

We are, of course, in an interim phase here with the transitioning between Pisces and Aquarius. Therefore, we need to adapt to the conditions that are here and see how we can use them to take people forward. That is why we have a messenger who is taking messages from us.

In the future, as we move further into the Golden Age, there are many other modalities that open up. There is a possibility that you can have a community where a number of people have reached the level where they can, for example, take a message from the spiritual realm. You may have a situation, for example, where several people are sitting in front of the congregation and nobody really knows ahead of time who is going to take the message that is coming forth. It is determined by the Spirit simply selecting a person, and then that person takes the message.

Theoretically, you could reach a point where all had reached that level, or at least where so many had reached it that they could speak in front of a large group. The advantage of this would be that we could have messengers who had worldly expertise in various fields and therefore had the knowledge in their outer minds that would allow us to give a more detailed message on a specific topic than any one messenger would be able to bring forth. You cannot have any person that knows everything about every topic. As we have said before, we are not trance-channeling, we are not taking over peoples’ minds. We are multiplying what is in the messenger’s consciousness and we can often go beyond it, but we cannot say something for which the messenger has no vocabulary of either words or concepts.

In terms of a spiritual community, we are looking for spiritual communities where all are equal in the sense that they have all reached the point, that Mother Mary talked about, of going beyond their personal issues and concerns. They have resolved enough of their psychology that they are not coming from an ego-based perspective, they do not have an ego-based motivation for being in the community or for serving, and so they are equal at that level. Now, equality does not mean sameness because people will still have individuality, individual talents, individual abilities, and they may have attainment from past lives that they are bringing into the community.

There will still be a role for some people who are in a position where they either bring forth teachings, they conduct workshops or seminars, they conduct healing sessions, and other things. There will always be a division of labor because, again, everybody cannot do everything, and so specialization is very much a valid concept even in a spiritual aquarian-age community.

In terms of a spiritual teacher, well, it is not that there will not be spiritual teachers in the Golden Age. There will be people who function as what you would call a spiritual teacher, but they would do it differently. This messenger, from one perspective, could be said to be a spiritual teacher. It is just that he has realized that in the Piscean Age, there has been built a certain concept of a spiritual teacher and that this concept simply is not applicable, valid or even constructive in the Aquarian Age. That is why he has chosen to say that as long as so many people have this conception of what it means to be a spiritual teacher, he does not want to use that terminology about himself.

In a sense it could be said that all of you who are spiritual students are in a way spiritual teachers because how do you teach? How do you really teach? You teach by being who you are, by expressing who you are. This messenger is being who he is to a large extent, and he is to a large extent expressing who he is, although of course he allows us to speak and he seeks to get you to speak. He could teach much more based on who he is, and this may happen in the future.

Nevertheless, it is understandable that in this transition period there is a need to take a different approach to being in the position of a spiritual teacher because it has been a pattern in the Piscean Age that the spiritual teacher has been elevated and idolized. It is perfectly true that when you idolize and elevate the teacher, there is a tendency that the student sits back and relaxes and expects that the teacher is going to give him or her what is needed to grow on the spiritual path.

Now what is actually relaxing in that situation is the ego, because the ego knows that if you are blindly expecting the teacher to give you something, then you are not exercising the greatest enemy of the ego, which is your personal discernment, your intuition, your ability to know from within. In a sense, this messenger is also signaling that he does not want to put you in a position where you can use him as an excuse for shutting off your intuition, your sense of responsibility for yourself.

In order to be an ascended master student, you cannot just study the outer teaching and expect that that is enough. You have to continually look at yourself, work on your psychology, increase your discernment, and come to a point where an outer teaching does not tell you what to think, what to believe. The outer teaching in itself is not enough for you because you use the outer teaching as the way to stimulate your intuition so that you get personal insights that help you integrate the teaching, apply the teaching, but even increase your understanding beyond what is said in that particular teaching.

This messenger is doing this constantly. When he is giving an invocation, he often has his mind trigger an understanding where he suddenly sees something he did not see before. The same, of course, when he is reading or editing a dictation. Many of you, are already doing this, and this is part of the path.

There is no going on auto-pilot and making progress on the spiritual path. It cannot be done. When you sit back and relax, you are either standing still or after a short period of time starting to go backwards. It cannot be any other way.

There are, of course, many teachers in the world who have promised you this. Even Christianity has put out the idea that all you need is Jesus and then you will be saved, for he will provide what you need in order to be saved. What a mockery of what Jesus actually demonstrated and what he lived as a living teacher who sought to raise his disciples up towards his own level of consciousness.

In the Aquarian Age, being a student is not passively receiving. It is actively interacting with what is coming from the ascended masters through whatever source. You are interacting with a teaching, with a teacher, and with the source behind the teacher, meaning the ascended masters.

Going global and the path to Christhood

Question: I think I have a misperception with regard to what it means to “go global.” So what I think it means is that you focus on some condition on the planet, you move past what gets triggered in you when you look at that condition. Maybe you recognize that the world is not outside you, that the world is in your heart, so sort of oneness thing. And then you develop a non-attachment so that you can be the open door for love to flow. Is that sort of what going global means? The question is, “What does going global mean?”

We have said many times that there comes a point on the spiritual path where you cannot grow further by focusing on your own growth, your own development, resolving your psychology, resolving your personal issues, even your health issues. From that point on, you need to go beyond the focus on yourself, and this is really the meaning of going global.

We see sometimes, in fact many times, that spiritual people are suddenly awakened to the existence of the spiritual path. After going through some initial period, they might find a spiritual teaching, a spiritual organization, and they might start exercising some kind of practice that may actually be aimed at doing something for the planet.

But the people do not quite lock in to this. They are doing the practice even in a sort of mechanical way, but they still become more and more focused on certain problems and issues in their own lives. They become actually self-absorbed, and they are just using the outer teaching sort of as a way to make them feel that they are doing what they need to be doing for the world, they are doing what they need to be doing to secure their ascension, but most of their attention is focused on themselves. This is what, in my initial dictation for this conference, I called the focus on petty problems that do not help you grow, that do not help the world grow.

Going global is just a way to say that you shift away from the focus on self because you have depersonalized your life to the point where you realize that many of your personal issues and concerns are not actually important to you anymore. It ties in with what I said − and we have said, many of us − that there are certain problems that either have no solution or cannot be solved by human means.

There comes a point where you have resolved enough of your psychology − you have grown enough on the path − so that the problems that are remaining are problems that you cannot solve. You cannot do anything about them, you can only transcend them, which means walking away from them.

How do you walk away from them? In the beginning it is difficult for people to let go, so therefore, an interim stage is to shift your attention on something else, a bigger problem, a problem that relates to more people. This then opens up for the possibility that you can receive help from above, with the multiplication from us that can bring more healing.

Eventually, of course, there comes a point where you are ready to simply look at yourself and let go of certain concerns and issues. You can just let it go and realize that this is no longer important to you, because you are no longer living for any personal purpose. You are living for the purpose of serving something beyond yourself, whether it be other people, or a cause, or the ascended masters.

The Internet and privacy

Question: Please comment on the Anonymous movement.

A general comment is, of course, that in the Golden Age nothing will be anonymous because people will be willing to stand by what they stand for, what they mean, what they do. I have said before that there will come a point where what you have today will be unimaginable. What you today see as your right to privacy will be replaced by you taking responsibility for everything that you do, and therefore not needing to hide anything.

You could say that, while currently conditions are so that people need to hide, and they need to be anonymous and this is, of course, a practical reality. Nevertheless, what I want to give you as a vision is that any organization where people hide themselves, create a secret society (you have seen it in the Ku Klux Klan, you have seen it in the Freemasons, you have seen it in many others) that these kind of closed societies that are more or less secret and allow people to do something without taking responsibility for it, this is not the golden age model.

You can see, for example, on the Internet, how in so many comments and chat rooms and other things that people hide behind a virtual identity and then they say something that they would never say if they were to be exposed for who they are. This, of course, is not the golden age model. We look for a society where people are willing to take responsibility.

In fact, speaking in relation to this, there is already a great need to create a part of the Internet where you can actually validate people’s identity so they cannot create a false identity, they cannot create a virtual identity, but they stand out for who they are, and therefore can express themselves knowing that everybody knows who they are. They are also expressing themselves in forums and contexts where they are dealing with other people who are willing to stand forward. Instead of having this virtual debate between virtual people, we can have a real debate between real people who are not afraid to be known for who they are.

Purifying drinking water and the body’s alchemical abilities

Question: My question is about water. What is the role of water, and especially drinking water, for the rise of our awareness, and of consciousness in the Golden Age of Saint Germain?

Well you know, of course, that your bodies are about seventy percent water, and it is clear that the water you take into your body has a major impact on the cells and their ability to actually function well. It is not so much the water itself that you take in, but the information that is encoded in the water. I know you are all aware of chemicals, of course, and it is clear that in the Golden Age, there will not be allowed to be any pollution of the drinking water, any chemicals in the drinking water. There will be various technologies, some of which are already in existence and are valid. But there will be more in the Golden Age for how you purify drinking water.

There is also a need to realize that water has a very unique ability to carry information. It is not only energy, but it is actual information. As you know with, for example, homeopathic remedies, research has been done that shows that there is no chemical left in a homeopathic remedy, but there is information, and this information can be absorbed by the cells.

What you realize is that water also can absorb information and can carry this for a long time, and that is why actually the most healthy water you can drink is water that has been allowed to seep into the ground and then naturally rise back to the surface in a natural spring. Then it has gone through a cleansing in the earth that has stripped it of some of this information. Of course, in the Golden Age and even now, it is not practical that everybody gets their drinking water from natural springs, so there will be other methodologies, as I said, some which have already been brought forth, or in part been brought forth for actually cleansing the water of information. But this is beyond chemicals. It is beyond what can be done through reverse osmosis.

Another issue that comes into play here is, of course, that the cells need certain minerals that can either be carried in the water or can be more easily absorbed from water than from food. Either the information from those minerals needs to be added to the drinking water, or people need to find other sources of getting those minerals. This is a topic that is too complicated to go into, but in the Golden Age there will actually be a science about how to treat water.

There will be ways to see, as you already know, that the soil in many places has been depleted of minerals, so that it does not get into the food that is grown on the land. In the Golden Age there will be ways to enrich the soil and to enrich the water, and there will be other ways to provide, not necessarily the chemical minerals, but the information that the cells need.

There will also, in the Golden Age, be an increased spiritual awareness that will allow people who are walking the path of Christhood to get to a point where it is not such an issue what kind of water they drink. You already know now that you can bless the food and the water you drink, and this has a beneficial effect, and the higher your consciousness is, the greater the effect. There can come a point where you do not need to be concerned about the water because you can bless it, and this will purify it and charge it with the necessary energies. There even comes a point where your consciousness is raised to the point where you do not need to take in many minerals from the water or from the food because your body is functioning at a level where it can produce them itself.

Truly, in a completely natural environment your body can produce many minerals that it needs, and even certain vitamins without getting them from the food. The body can function at the alchemical level where it can take what is given in the food and transform it into what it needs. The body in a sense already does this for most people.

If you actually took an average person today, and if you could accurately measure what that person is taking in, for example, of a certain mineral through the food and water, and how much the cells of that person are actually using of that mineral, you would, in most people, find a discrepancy. The cells are actually using more than the person is taking in. The reason is that the body has the ability to transform some of the food that is taken in into what it needs. It is actually when this ability breaks down that the depletion starts happening and that people cannot get enough of these minerals. This is partly related to the actual pollution of the body, but also related to the state of consciousness.

In the Golden Age, as we move further and further into it, there are many avenues that will open up that can barely be imagined today. That is why we say, over and over again, that vision is so important because it is clear that the solutions to many issues and many problems you have today are not material, are not mechanical. There are higher solutions and this is what will begin to happen in the Golden Age.

More and more people will be open to this, and more and more people will raise their consciousness to the point where they can start serving as healers because they can do more than physical healing. Some can do this already, but many more will be able to do so in the Golden Age and many will be able to do it themselves by raising their consciousness, and therefore taking command over the body, taking command over matter, and therefore healing many illnesses, or giving their bodies what they need to function at the optimum level.

Alternative media

Question: What changes in the media we can expect during the Golden Age? What role will alternative media play?

Certainly in the Golden Age, the media will change dramatically because, as you see with free energy, you see in the same way with information. Free energy is something that cannot be controlled and monopolized because it does not come from one source, and this is the way it is already beginning to be with information.

Now there are, of course, much of what you today call the alternative media, that is not as neutral or benign as they present themselves to be. What you basically need to realize, when you are living in this age, is that you cannot really trust any media blindly. That is why, going back to what Jesus said about Christhood, you need to develop this ability to read vibration so that you can read an alternative media website and very quickly you can sense the vibration. Do they have a higher intent, or do they have a lower intent? You do not need to even know what it is, but you can just sense that they are somehow dragging your energies down, and then you know that this is not coming from the right intentions.

Obviously, as the Internet has grown and has shaken up traditional media, the power elite, the fallen beings, have done everything they can to make use of this. As we have already said, they release so much information that you are completely confused. They release so much information that people shut their minds or they label it all as too far out.

That is why the only option, really, is discernment. But it is still a far better situation than in the societies where no information was available to the people. At least now you have both good and bad, and therefore, you have something that you can use to exercise your discernment.

The Panama Papers

Question: What can you tell us about the Panama Papers? Why weren’t there so many Americans mentioned in those papers?

I inspired the persons to release the information but, of course, could not control what is done with it once it gets to the media. There is, of course, a certain self-servingness that takes place there.

There is a reason why not so many U.S. people were mentioned there, and that is because they don’t need to hide their money outside the U.S. They have the means to do it inside the U.S., among other ways, what is called a Delaware corporation. There are tax shelters that are easily available to anyone in the U.S. Therefore, why go to Panama when you can do it at home? This, of course, needs to be exposed also, and it needs to be closed at some point, but that is another issue.

We can, of course, only inspire the release of information. We cannot control what people do with it. We cannot control how the public responds to this, and whether it even has any serious long-term effects. It is at least a significant event that the information was released as we have seen now in the last several years, that there has been several of these major leaks of information. This has made the power elite realize that it may be the end of the time where they can keep anything secret. Even though they will, of course, try for a long time to still have their secrets, there are some among them who are beginning to realize that their days are numbered—that the days of manipulating the public in secret are coming to an end.

It would be very valuable if the spiritual people recognized the same thing, make the calls, and hold the vision that nothing really can be hidden. As Jesus said: “All that is hidden shall be revealed.” This is the part of the ending of a cycle where you see that those who have not flown with the cycle, those who have not passed their initiations, those who have tried to take advantage of the Piscean Age, they are here in this transition period. They need to be exposed so that the people can see them and then choose to transcend what they have not transcended in the past 2,000 years.

Mental illness: technology and exorcism

Question: During the first question and answer session, there was a remark from Mother Mary that got my attention, that there is currently available on Earth the technology and knowledge on how we can diagnose mental illness on the higher levels. We can, even now, have some methods for visualizing what’s going on in the higher levels. And also, what connects to this: I was wondering what are the reasons for mental illness. When I heard there could be problems with soul fragmentation, there can be invasion from some external forces, and in the case of external forces, how can we get rid of entities, and if, for example, exorcisms could be used as an approach for this.

Mental illness is, of course, a huge topic and it has many causes. The technology that is currently available is that you have certain digital cameras that can be adjusted so that they can actually show the three higher bodies, the emotional, mental, and identity. There is currently nobody who really has understood it this way, but the technology could very quickly be adapted and developed so that it could show the conditions of the three higher bodies. Therefore, you could use the digital image to see that there are certain energetic patterns that are always present in people who have a certain mental illness, and therefore you could begin to do this.

There are also certain of the more advanced scanners that are currently used to scan the physical body that could also be adjusted to show more than the physical body. In fact, there are some who are working with these technologies who have already seen that these scanners can show more, but they are considering it to be “noise” and therefore do everything they can to filter it out and suppress it.

This is technology that in the foreseeable future will find a broader application, but it does, of course, require some shift in awareness. There are already people, alternative healers, who have started working with these technologies and it is, of course, a start. But much more can be developed over time when the technology gains momentum.

Now, in terms of mental illness, I will give a broad answer. There are many, many causes of it, and it is true that external influences can be a big part of it. However, there is always a symbiotic relationship between internal and external. We have said before that there is no force in the three higher realms, in the three higher bodies, that can force their way into your three higher bodies. Obviously, in the physical octave, someone can come and physically attack you. But this is not the case at the emotional, mental, and identity realms.

You may look at some of the very, very aggressive demons in the astral plane that have taken over the minds of some people, but they could not have done so unless the people themselves had made choices that opened them up to this influence. The key, the absolute key, to freeing yourself from this influence is that the person must come to see this, come to see the choice they made and consciously change it.

That is why exorcism as it has traditionally been done in the Catholic church is really not a cure for mental illness. There can be rare cases where a person is so possessed by a demon that the fact that several other people focus their attention on that person makes the demon go away, but in many cases it is only temporary. There is some validity to the fact that a person with a certain level of Christhood can exorcise a dark spirit from a person, but as you even see in the Bible in the description of where Jesus cast out the spirits from a person, they can easily come back if the person does not change the choice that invited them in in the first place.

Where is Rudolf Steiner

Question: Rudolf Steiner is never to be found. Not on the Internet. Nobody speaks where he is, and I want to ask is he with the planet or is he somewhere else in the cosmos?

Rudolf Steiner is not at this point an ascended master, and he is not working with Earth. Therefore, he is not able to support the Anthroposophical Society that he started.

What is Christhood?

Question: What is Christhood, and what is the most important thing to attain Christhood? Is it more about healing or is it that you have to seek to develop yourself, to resolve your own psychology? Is there a point where the need for doing invocations stops, so if you can invoke light through your being?

Christhood is many things. Christhood is something that cannot be fully described in words, but the most important aspect of developing Christhood is actually to develop what we have talked about as the ability to read vibration. This is the essence of discernment.

Discernment is not an intellectual faculty. It cannot be trained through the analytical mind where you are comparing something to something else. It is not a comparable faculty when you have discernment. It is based on vibration. You read the vibration: Is it fear-based? Is it love-based? Is it coming from a higher realm? Is it coming from a lower realm?

Many times you cannot even put words on why. You could not describe it to someone else but you just know in your heart this is right, this is not, this is higher, this is lower. We have given many tools for developing discernment, but discernment, the ability to read vibration, is of course very closely linked to healing your psychology. So all of the tools we have given, the teachings for healing psychology, are part of it.

In terms of invocations, well there certainly comes a point where it is not necessary to do invocations for your own sake because you have resolved enough psychology that you do not need to do it. Of course, in the foreseeable future there will not come a point where the world could not benefit from you doing invocations. There can come a point where it is not necessary for your own growth to do invocations, but it is still necessary for the world, or beneficial to the world.

There does come a point, of course, where you have raised your consciousness sufficiently that you have become the open door that we are often talking about. This means that there is light streaming through your consciousness all the time, even when you are engaged in other activities. There is still at that point, value in giving invocations for the world because the invocations funnel the energy into particular issues.

Even if you are an open door and your chakras are constantly open for light streaming through them, if you are not consciously directing it, it does not have quite the same effect. It does not mean it is not beneficial, but it can be more beneficial to focus on certain issues. You can also do this by engaging yourself in an activity that focuses your attention on a certain issue.

Still, for many people there will be value in giving the invocations for others because, of course, once you step up to the higher degrees of Christhood it is almost like you depersonalize your life, and your personal desires and concerns either melt away or they take second place to working for some cause that reaches out and helps the all, which can be both other people and the ascended masters, because you are helping us help others.

Will I die if my ego dies?

Question: I love God and the ascended masters more and surrender to God completely. When I meditate and I feel the energy rise up in my body, I suddenly fear that my ego will die. I am afraid of what will happen if my ego completely dies. But I want to overcome this fear and to love God and the masters completely. I have heard that even if my ego dies, I will not die but will be expanded but I cannot let go of my fear. Can you please give me advice.

Fear that is related to spiritual growth is always an implant or a hook in your aura by fallen beings or dark forces in the emotional realm. You need to make, first of all, the decision that you realize that you are being attacked by dark forces. You need to call for spiritual protection from Archangel Michael, you need to call for Astrea to cut you free from any ties to these forces.

Then, you also need to do what we have said so many times: look at your psychological patterns. At some point you have made a decision about what would happen if your ego died. There is some reason you think you cannot live without the ego, and you need to uncover that decision. This means you first need to transform that burden of fear-based energy that is making it painful or difficult to look at the decision. Then, you need to work on getting clarity so that you see the decision and then undo it. It is NOT something that can happen automatically, but of course the many invocations we have given can certainly help you in this respect.

You have the books that have been translated to Korean, such as the one about communicating from the heart, that also goes through the seven rays and this is a good place to start. Otherwise, many of our books that contain invocations for self-healing can help you on this. It may take some time to resolve something like this because what you need to do is discover that deeper decision that caused you to doubt that you will survive if your ego dies.

What you can also consider is that it simply is not possible that your entire ego would die at once. It can only be a portion of your ego that dies. None of us can take such a giant leap that all of the ego dies in one situation. I know there are people out there who will claim that they have had a dramatic experience and they were enlightened after that experience, which they interpret to mean that they have no ego left. I just want to point out a very simple fact my beloved. If you are in physical embodiment, if you are in a physical body, you have elements of the ego left, otherwise you could not hold on to the body.

It is naive to think you can have one dramatic experience where your entire ego dies and now you are ego-free and enlightened for the rest of your lifetime. It is only that a fragment of your ego dies. If you allow yourself to believe you have no ego left, then you are almost worse off than before you had that experience. Consider here that it is only a small portion of your ego that dies and this may make it easier for you to avoid this fear.

Is planet Venus ascended?

Question: The 144,000 beings who came to earth with Sanat Kumara long ago from Venus were not in the ascended state. Does this mean that there are ascended areas and unascended areas on such an advanced planet like Venus.

It is correct that the 144,000 were not ascended when they came to earth. That is why they were able to take physical embodiment on earth. Sanat Kumara was an ascended master when the 144,000 came and that is why he did not take physical embodiment. There are not areas of Venus that are ascended and unascended. It is simply that the vibration of Venus has been raised to the point where you cannot (with your physical senses and with the physical material instruments you have on earth) see that there is life on Venus—because it exists in a higher vibrational spectrum.

This does not mean that the planet has ascended as we define ascension, it is simply further along in the process of raising its vibration. Once you ascend from Venus, you become an ascended master. Then, you are an ascended master in the ascended realm. Therefore, you do not take embodiment again on any planet.

We can say that Venus still has four levels, it has an identity octave, a mental octave, an emotional octave, even a physical octave. It is just that life on Venus, or the vibration of Venus, is higher than it is on earth. Therefore, even though there is a physical planet that you can see from earth, you cannot see the life forms that exist there (with your physical senses).

Collective and individual ascension

Question: There seems to be some difference between the ascension of the earth as claimed by some other spiritual groups and the ascension of the individual in the teachings of the ascended masters. What is the difference between a collective ascension of planet earth and that of the individual? And which is our priority?

Yes, there is indeed a difference, my beloved, because there are many false teachings out there that are attempting to fool people into looking beyond their own situation and their own egos and thinking that all they need to do is work for the ascension of the earth and then they don’t have to look at their own psychology. Planet earth as such will not ascend until this entire sphere ascends and that is not something you need to worry about in your lifetimes, I can assure you.

There is, of course, always the possibility that the vibration of the collective consciousness (and even in the longer term the vibration of matter) can be raised, but this is not the same as the planet ascending. A planet really does not ascend in the way we have described the process of an individual. What you need to focus on, and what is your priority, is to resolve your own psychology and walk the path towards Christhood so that you can qualify for your personal ascension. This will pull up on the collective consciousness and raise the vibration of the planet.

Again, it is not the goal of the ascended masters to cause the earth to ascend; it is our goal to manifest a Golden Age on earth so that it continues to exist even in the physical spectrum although with less density of matter so that many of the manifestation you see on earth now, such as old age, disease, poverty and lack are transcended. This is still not the same as the ascension. The way we explain ascension, the earth will not ascend until the entire sphere ascends. Now there are, of course, some very clever beings in the mental realm who have different definitions of ascension, but these do not come from us and therefore we do not really wish to give an in-depth commentary on it.

Teaching children without overriding their free will

Question: I have been an elementary school teacher and I would like to focus more on teaching children’s personality than on study. Whenever children did improper acts and such behaviours that do harm to other children and themselves, I used to punish them in a decisive way to treat their words and actions. When guiding children what criteria should I have in order to avoid projecting my own emotions or beliefs to them and to teach them to the extent that I do not override their free will?

A very important topic, my beloved, that not only applies in a teaching situation, of course, but also applies to parents. This is a topic where you need to be somewhat attuned to the individual child.

There are children who are below the 48th level of consciousness and they do need to have a firm hand where the adult sets boundaries and lets the children know that they cannot go beyond these boundaries without suffering certain consequences. There are children that you simply cannot reason with and make them see why they should not be doing this, they need to have set a firm boundary. Otherwise their behaviour will simply escalate because what these children are asking for is actually the attention of that adult. They will keep acting out until they get that attention. It is in many cases entities or even smaller demons that can be working through children in order to create chaos and disruption both in the classroom and in other settings.

In such cases, you need to be firm as the teacher, otherwise you will lose the ability to even teach the class. There, of course, needs to be a system in the school where the children who are continuously acting out can either be put in a special class or receive some kind of counselling or be dealt with in other ways. But for most children it is possible to talk to them and to talk to them in a direct way that is just open and honest. You are explaining to them how you feel about their behaviour, how other children feel about their behaviour and therefore you ask them to stop this.

Most children will be able to see that if their behaviour affects other people negatively, or affects the class and the environment in the class, then they will stop the behaviour. Generally speaking, it is always better to explain to children, and this, of course, requires you to overcome some of these traditional roles that, for example, Venus was talking about. You have the very traditional family role where the man and the woman are locked into a certain role but so are the children because they are considered to not be aware enough, intelligent enough, smart enough, mature enough. The adults think they cannot explain anything to children, they cannot reason with them.

This is, in fact, not the case for many children, who even at a young age can be quite aware and therefore you can explain things to them. This can be difficult when you come from a culture where you traditionally do not explain to children, but tell them what to do and then punish them if they do not comply. You can experiment with this personally in the classroom, but you also need to be aware of the culture you are living in and that it actually will require some change in the educational system before you may be able to fully do this.

Now, what I would like to say to both parents and teachers is that you need to look at every aspect of your lives as an opportunity to grow spiritually. It is clear that when you are dealing with children, there can often be situations where children, for a variety of reasons, are acting in a way that tests you. They are, so to speak, pushing your emotional buttons and you need to look at this as an opportunity to see what emotional patterns you have and then work on solving them. You cannot be fulfilled as a teacher or as a parent if your children are continually pushing your buttons so you feel you are not in control of the situation or in control of yourself.

Once you get to the point where you have resolved the underlying psychological issue, then you will be able to deal with children in a completely different way. When you have no buttons to push, then the children will realize this subconsciously and all of a sudden they will be free from this pattern where they are trying to provoke you or misbehave. You can therefore establish a more aware, a more mature and more enjoyable, relationship with them.

Basic income in Korea

Question: What is the minimum cost for people to keep a minimum standard of human life. When the police state the government provide people with a basic income is adopted people would be able to work for self-realisation instead of spending their whole lives working only for money. Through their personal development they can lead to the economic and spiritual balance of the society. What do the ascended masters think of the introduction of the system to give a basic income to the people in Korea.

We have previously talked about the concept of a basic income. Saint Germain has given teachings on this and what I want to specifically talk about here is the situation in Korea. We generally believe this is something that should be experimented with, with the more developed countries that have reached a certain level of affluence where they can afford to do this. Whether Korea is at this stage right now is not a clear-cut answer “yes or no” because there are certain decisions that will need to be made in Korean society before you would be ready to do this.

We would like to see that there was a greater awareness of many of the things that we have brought to your attention during our conferences. In other words, there needs to be some awareness that there is an alternative to the traditional way of life. So many people have now been brought up to see their whole lives as having a main purpose being to go to school, to study, to have a career and to work. It would be very difficult for them to make wise use of having the free time they would have if they had a basic income.

It would be better if there was more of a raising of awareness so that more people would be free of these traditional roles and this traditional programming. Instead of simply spending their free time on entertainment, they would be able to spend it on pursuing spiritual growth or some form of charity work or other things that lead to personal development. It is not our highest priority right now to have this implemented in Korea, but in the long run it is clear that both Korea and other affluent nations, primarily in the West, need to experiment with this and see how it actually affects the country.

In many cases it will lead to growth. But I must say that it is not an automatic thing that you can give people a basic income that will lead to a growth in the economy. It actually depends on how they use it. Do they use it to raise their level of consciousness, then there will be a multiplication from the ascended realm that will cause the economy of that country to grow. If they do not use it to raise their consciousness, then we cannot multiply anything and then the system will gradually be bogged down and will actually lead to a decrease in the economy, and the nations will realize that they cannot afford to continue this program.
