The effect of violent computer games on children

Question: So many young children are nowadays attracted to violent computer games, is that an expression of the collective consciousness and how does it affect the collective consciousness?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Well, it is a complicated question in the sense that there are some individual things here. There are some children who actually can benefit from playing these games because it allows them to outplay certain scenarios in their consciousness that can help them transcend a certain level of consciousness. It can help them even transcend a certain level of aggression or anger. These, however, are relatively few. What I am saying is that if you as a parent have an intuitive sense that your child needs to play these games, then you allow it but you also try to guide the child so that it does not become addicted to these games.

It is clear that if you look at the overall level, then these computer games are not helping to raise the collective consciousness. On the contrary, it is clear that, just as with violent movies, there are entities and demons who can hook into people’s auras when they play these games, especially when they do it for many many hours. Therefore, they insert hooks into people’s auras where they can agitate their emotional bodies and extract energy. These games have a tendency to become very addictive and when they do become that, then it will really lower the consciousness of the person and of the collective consciousness.

Now, there can still be, as I said, some people who can benefit from playing them for a time and then, when they have had enough of it, they simply stop and move on with life. As a spiritually aware parent, you can have the general attitude that you do not allow your children to play these games and you try to protect them from peer pressure. You try to talk to them about why you will not allow this unless, as I have said, you have an intuitive sense that your child needs to play it.

It may be, and I know this is difficult, it may be that one of your children can benefit from playing the games but the others cannot. You may have to deal with a difficult situation that you allow one child to do something that you do not allow the others to do. Again, you can deal with this by talking to them about it. You can also, of course, make the calls that your children will not be addicted to this, that they will be cut free of this so they only have to play it for a necessary time, and then they will be moving on.

It is clear, my beloved, that the industry behind these computer games is largely taken over by dark forces, especially in the emotional realm, but also to some degree in the mental. It is clear that some of these games, first of all, they are becoming more and more violent because they need to attract more and more attention and have more and more of a shock factor just as you see with movies. It is also clear that there is an intent behind this to tie people into the entire consciousness that we can solve problems by going out and shooting at anything that moves. This is a consciousness that, of course, is very insidious, very aggressive. You can make calls on it although it is perhaps not the most important issue to make calls on unless you feel a strong inner intuitive sense that it is an issue for you.

The original inhabitants of the earth

Question: Are some of the people that are manifesting their Christhood now, the original inhabitants of earth?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Yes, there are some, but the majority of the people who are now manifesting some degree of Christhood, have actually come to earth for the specific purpose of helping raise the earth.

Question: So they already reached the level of consciousness but they still come back to Earth not to raise their consciousness but to raise the collective consciousness?

The background for what she was asking is that the masters said that there were certain original inhabitants, there were certain lifestreams that were created to inhabit the earth. There were certain groups of these. They have been called lifewaves or they have been called root races. The first one, they all ascended, the second one all ascended, the third one all ascended. But the fourth one, they started going into duality and took the planet down.

After that, there came a point where there had been created on earth a very homogenous society where they were all sort of in the same state of consciousness. They had a certain degree of harmony but they weren’t growing, and so that’s when the masters allowed fallen beings to embody here to cause a stir-up that static society.

Then, at the same time there were some that had a higher awareness, some degree of Christhood, who chose to come here to balance the fallen beings so that they could not destroy the planet. The basic law is that it is the original inhabitants of the earth who determine the fate of the planet, who determine how quickly it can rise. Even though there are many that have come to raise the planet, they can’t do it alone because it has to be done by the original inhabitants responding.

What we can do, of course, is to prevent the fallen beings from destroying the planet. Ultimately, the planet needs to have some of these original inhabitants start manifesting Christhood in order to really raise higher. And that, of course, has happened to some degree. I’m sure some of them have ascended, too.

Children with allergies

Question: All of a sudden with little children, allergic symptoms pop up and people say that it is because of vaccinations but maybe it goes as for the same illnesses under a special collective consciousness?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

The process of raising consciousness is a process where you gradually become able to take more and more responsibility for yourself. Many people are not at the level where they are willing or able to do this. When you have not taken responsibility for yourself, when something happens that you do not like, that you do not accept, that you do not want, then your default reaction is to find someone or something to blame. You look for a relatively simple explanation that some external force is the cause of this and therefore you do not need to do anything about it.

This is the main psychological mechanism whereby people observe that there are more and more children that have allergies and therefore they say, something must be to blame, and – oh, yes!- here it is: The vaccinations, and all the conspiracy theories they buy into. What do conspiracy theories do? They say there is someone else who is to blame, namely that secret conspiracy. You are not to blame therefore you do not need to look at yourself. The reality here is that there are more children who are coming into embodiment with both diseases and allergies.

What is an allergy, my beloved? Well, it can be two things. It can be that you are in a lower state of consciousness where you do not have the awareness to avoid being affected by a certain physical condition. There are certain aspects of the physical world that are affecting you because your consciousness is not high enough. People who do not have the allergy, it can be because they have transcended that particular consciousness so even though they are exposed, for example, to the same pollen, they are not affected by it. This is one scenario.

With many of the children who are coming in, it is actually because they have a higher level of consciousness so they are more sensitive. In the ideal scenario here, the way to have avoided this phenomenon with the children coming in with allergies would be to raise the collective consciousness in certain areas. Because that has not happened, these more advanced souls that are coming in are so sensitive that they are reacting, not to a physical substance but actually to the consciousness that has not being raised. There are children that are diagnosed with being allergic to pollen, for example, but it is not really the pollen they are allergic to. It is a certain aspect of the collective consciousness that could have been transmuted but has not been.

Ideally, this should have been transmuted before these children came in so that they would not have the allergy. It has not happened so now you have this situation, again, where these souls are still willing to come in, even though they have to take on this physical burden.

The complexities and timetables of manifesting a golden age

Question: What we understand as the term Golden Age will be manifest during two thousand years of continuous of age. Just imagine that Christ, 10,000 Christed beings took embodiment now. Also there are several million beings who can reach the high level of Christhood during this lifetime. Also, it has been mentioned that a few hundred people/spiritual beings can reach the Buddhahood, what if they took embodiment now. My question is: are Christed beings awakened to perform their divine plan right now or if not, what we can do for them to awaken them?

Second question: When can we expect the critical change on this planet if we work together so Saint Germain’s Golden Age can be manifest continuously. Will something change? If we work together, can we expect some critical change in some decade?

The people who are in embodiment right now who had a high degree of Christhood before they came into embodiment all have some intuitive sense of what their divine plan is and many of them are working towards it. Now, what could happen is that they would become more conscious of this process. They could be more conscious of the fact that there is something called Christhood and that they could reach higher levels and that they could express it more fully. For these, you could make the calls but it is, of course, all subject to free will.

What sometimes happens to a person who has some degree of Christhood is that it comes into embodiment with a relatively strong sense of intuition to focus on a particular area. Then, it becomes so absorbed in that area that it uses all of its attention on it. In many cases this is actually not the highest potential for a person with some Christhood. It is that they could become more conscious of the path, more consciously rise to higher levels and perform an even wider service. So these also could be made calls on by you.

There are millions of people who have the potential to reach Christhood and for those you can make the calls that they will actually awaken so that they will be conscious that there is a path they can follow so that they can manifest that Christhood more quickly. You can help them with the teachings, you can do other things, but all of these things are of course subject to free will.

When can you expect the Golden Age to manifest? Well, it depends on the choices people make and when we reach a critical mass and certain things. Of course, the Golden Age has already started manifesting and the Golden Age is not something where, as I have said before, you can come to a particular point where you say: “Now the Golden Age is manifest.” Because the Golden Age is an ongoing process.

It is not so, my beloved, as many envision, that there will come a point where now the Golden Age is manifest and now you have an ideal society that will remain that way for the rest of the 2,000-year period. It will be a continual growth throughout the 2,000 years where you will reach higher and higher levels for the next 2,000 years. There is a low potential, there is a high potential. If the high potential is manifest, you would not even be able to imagine the changes that will happen in society based on current conditions. If the low potential is manifest, it will still be much higher than what you have today.

You cannot really set a linear timeline for when this will happen, given the equation of free will and given the fact that it is an ongoing process. However, if we took a theoretical scenario that all of the Christed beings and all of those who have a potential to manifest Christhood did awaken, did come together, did in unison make certain calls for bringing about certain changes, if this happened you would start seeing changes immediately because there would be so many people – millions of people – who would focus their attention on the same thing. You would start to see certain changes immediately, simply because they would be able to shift the collective consciousness.

However, part of the Golden Age is that we come to a point where matter becomes less dense and this has many subtle ramifications that I have not really talked about yet but this will take much longer. Here we are talking centuries. Not many centuries, but at least one to two centuries before we will start to see this in the ideal scenario. It can take longer if we have the lowest potential manifest.

Again, even if you had all of these people come together, there is still the equation of free will of the majority. Even though you could start seeing changes immediately, there is still a limit to how quickly the changes can be manifest, and this has both something to do with the free-will choices of the majority of the population, but it also has something to do with people’s ability to shift their sense of identity quickly enough.

You have already seen there are people who talk about future shock and how even the last century has been challenging for many people because there has been so many technological changes that some people simply cannot adjust their minds. See how many older people still are not using computers, for example. This is not because they are not intelligent enough or smart enough to use a computer and to learn a computer. It is because they are not able in their minds to shift into the mindset that is required in order to use a computer. They cannot shift out of the old mindset that they grew up with.

You will see this as being one of the challenges for the Golden Age. There are times where I simply have to delay the release of certain new knowledge and technology because I can see that too many people simply cannot handle the changes, cannot adjust to them and this, of course, is not my intention. You realize, my beloved, that I do not sit up here as a dictator and say that in 2043 this must happen. I am looking at the people. I am looking at helping the people.

Again, there is a tendency among older dispensations of Ascended Master teachings to think that my Golden Age can be primarily defined by certain physical, technological achievements that will be made manifest. This is not the case. My Golden Age has the purpose of raising people’s consciousness and actually making it easier and easier for people to follow the example of Jesus and manifest the Christ consciousness. My primary concern is not physical changes, political changes, it is not to manifest certain technology and an advanced society. It is to raise the consciousness of the people, not by forcing them, not by shocking them beyond what they can handle but by working with them and their willingness.

You, for example, have to be careful to walk the balance where you do not think that bringing my Golden Age is so important that you should try to force other people. You cannot give your invocations and decrees with a mindset that you are needing or wanting or are justified in forcing other people. It is all voluntary. It is not so that I am standing up here tapping my foot and saying the earth is behind. Certainly, in some areas it is behind where it could be, but nevertheless I look at the whole. I look at the people and I see what they are able to handle, and I try to in the best way, as we have said before, give people what they need at their current level in order to take that next step. There are, of course, many people who are ahead and that is why some countries are ahead in various ways including technology.

You realize, my beloved, that there are countries in the world where if people were transported into your lifestyle in a technological age, they would not be able to handle it. I have to configure all this into my equation and it is, quite frankly, a very complex puzzle. It is also my joyful work to do this and so I have perhaps, a greater degree of patience than I normally express. It can be good for you to also have the patience, not in the sense that you do not make the calls but in the sense that you do not become disappointed if the world does not change in an afternoon.

Christ consciousness is a concept

Question: I have a question about the dictation of the Presence of Love from yesterday. And we have heard about the process of raising the Conscious You more and more into unity with the I AM Presence. And it seemed to me like the whole process could be described without ever referring to the Christ consciousness. So I would like to ask if you could give some clarification about where the Christ consciousness comes in into the picture?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

The Conscious You is a concept. The I AM Presence is a concept. The Christ consciousness is a concept. The fallen consciousness is a concept. Planet earth is a concept. The universe is a concept. You see, my beloved, it is perfectly true and it is a good observation that you can describe the process without using the terminology of the Christ consciousness.

In previous ages it has been described very differently. Even in this age, it is valid to describe it differently through other systems. It truly is a process whereby you come to realize that you are not a product of earth, you are not a product of your physical body, you are not a product of your four lower bodies. There is an element of your consciousness that is independent of anything in the material world. You come to realize that the reason this element of your consciousness is independent of the material world is that it did not come from the material world. It came from a higher realm, and it came from that higher realm because there is a being there that sent you into this world. Then, you free yourself from the identification with this world and you come to identify yourself with and as that higher being that sent you.

The value of going through the journey is that because you went through the immersion phase of seeing yourself as being separated from your higher self, even forgetting this higher part of your being, fully identifying yourself with the material universe, and then awakening from it there is now a higher awareness in your total being of who you are, how the world works, what the greater purpose of life is. This is how your I AM Presence, as was said so beautifully yesterday, has a completely different experience of the process than the Conscious You has or that you have, and therefore this leads to growth.

Yes, there are certainly other ways to explain it. You can, of course, tie the Christ consciousness into it by saying that as the Conscious You, or as you (whatever you want to call it) stops identifying with the things of this world and starts connecting to the higher part of its being, that is the essence of the Christ consciousness. It is where you realize as I expressed 2,000 years ago: “I can of my own self do nothing.” Because I’m not a separate being and it is only through the flow of energy from the higher part of my being that I am able to even exist. I also came to the statement: “It is the Father within me who is doing the works,” meaning the I AM Presence.” Also: “I and my Father are One.” I and my higher Self are One, and as long as you are in physical embodiment that is all you can say.

You can say: “There is an I here in this realm that is one with something up there.” You can say: “I and my Father.” You can say,: “My Conscious You and my I AM Presence are One.” But only when you ascend do you overcome the, shall we call it, a dualism, a duality, a division where you have something that sees itself as separate and only then do you actually go through the process where the Conscious You reaches its final state.

We have attempted to explain this in different ways that are all valid, we have attempted to put words on it but, truly, as was also said yesterday, you cannot put words on these things. You are ascending from a linear sphere to a non-linear sphere and the process of what you experience after you exit the linear sphere cannot be reduced to the words of the linear sphere.

Vaccinations and conspiracy theories

Question: I have a question about vaccinations and why there is so much confusion and accusation in society.

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Well, we have commented on the topic before in the sense that it is, again, an example of how we sometimes have to release technology that is not ideal but it still brings humanity to a higher level. It has been necessary because there was no other way to bring that number of people into embodiment as long as these contagious diseases were running rampant.

There, of course, comes a point where you need to ask whether is it necessary to continue to vaccinate. You always need to ask: “Is the vaccine safe? Could it be done better?” Of course, in most nations where they have vaccinated for decades and a certain disease has been for practical purposes eradicated, it should not be mandatory that all children should have vaccinations. You should allow the parents to make the choice for the children.

Again, you should also in an ideal situation, have a situation where the parents are not making the choice not to vaccinate their children out of fear and certainly not because they believe in some far-flung conspiracy theory. It is simply unrealistic to believe that there is some world-wide conspiracy that has taken over the medical establishments and the WHO and governments and large companies and that only has the purpose to destroy human beings. It is simply not realistic.

There is, of course, such a conspiracy in the fallen beings in the emotional realm, primarily, where they only want destruction. They will use people they can use. But to seriously believe that all of the leaders of society have had their minds taken over by fallen beings is not realistic, my beloved. Neither it is constructive for your spiritual growth. Nor is it constructive for society. It is for that matter not constructive for your children if you choose not to vaccinate them because you believe in such an unrealistic theory because you are actually putting that consciousness upon your children.

It would be far better that people who are trapped in this conspiracy theories and this fear-based mindset would recognize that a physical disease is not the only thing that can cripple a child. Being programmed with the fear-based energy of the parents can also have a major impact on the child.

This is not to say that you are always in fear when you choose not to vaccinate your child. If it comes to you as an intuitive insight, then you should follow it and then your country as a free democratic nation should allow you to do this. Certainly, this will be the case in the Golden Age, but of course in the Golden Age we will transcend some of these diseases and we will therefore transcend the need to vaccinate. There will come a time within not too many decades where vaccination will be stopped because it will be recognized that it is no longer necessary.

I wish to make just a brief comment here on the fact that we are actually moving out of the time where these very contagious diseases will continue to be a threat. There was a certain reason why they could flourish and it has to do with a rather complicated equation where people actually have the opportunity to recognize that when a disease spreads through many different people, it demonstrates that there is a collective consciousness.

In every country you will see that suddenly there is an outbreak of a disease, some people get it and some people do not get it. Why? It is simply because the disease represents a certain state of consciousness. There is a collective consciousness and the people who are affected by that level of consciousness will contract the disease and those who are not will not contract the disease even if they are exposed to it.

There was also a certain phase where the world was becoming tied together, the world was becoming smaller through technology, but the people were not willing to raise their consciousness and come into greater harmony. That is why they manifested these outbreaks of these diseases that could spread faster and faster because of travel. I am not thereby saying there will not be other epidemics but we are moving out of this phase where these can manifest because the consciousness is being raised.

The monetary system and debt

Question: I have a question about the monetary system. We have done the Mother Mary vigil about the monetary system and the power elite that is taking value away from the people. Well, I did not really see an improvement at all here because of the increasing debt and I’m curious about the vision the Ascended Masters have about what’s going to happen or the vision they have about the monetary system.

We have given some teachings on the economy and I will at some point give more so I do not wish to go into an overly technical discourse here. The bottom line is that there is much resistance to a new monetary system because the power elite have used the monetary system as their primary way to control the people in democratic nations. This is not something that can be resolved by a vigil that you give for a short time or by relatively small number of people. It will take many more people.

Now, there are, of course, always two ways that the change can be brought about and that is by a raising of awareness—and that it what we are asking to make calls on. When you make calls for the raising of awareness, this is, of course, subject to people’s free will. If people are not willing to raise their awareness, then your calls do not have a short-term effect. They will have an effect in the longer term but it will take more time.

The other way that people can learn is, of course, the School of Hard Knocks and, quite frankly, it is not realistic to expect that the monetary system will change through a raising of awareness. There will have to be some very serious situations where the debt burden has become so big that there is a new awareness that it simply is not possible to pay back the debt. Therefore, we need to find a different way to deal with it, which could be to nullify the debt or to reform the monetary system. Or to even ask the question, as I have said before: To whom do we owe this money? And why does a nation allow itself to owe money to private institutions that have no allegiance to a particular nation?

Is Mother Teresa ascended?

 Question: About Mother Theresa. She didn’t ascend after she died. But what about now?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Well, the soul of Mother Theresa has not ascended but has actually re-embodied. This will surprise many people because they will think that a person who so selflessly served others for many years should have done so many good deeds that she would have qualified for her ascension.

Listen to what we have said in this conference, including the fact that you can actually have qualified for your ascension by following a certain ascetic path but because you have not fulfilled certain desires on earth, you are not actually able to ascend and leave the earth behind.

There are extensive teachings about Mother Theresa and the crisis she faced on the website and if you study these, you will see that although she had done many good deeds for others, she had not sufficiently worked on her psychology and resolved her psychology. This is why she was not ready to ascend.

What escapes you is that the traditional Christian view that you can qualify to enter Heaven by doing good outer deeds is completely false. You can actually see this if you look at what Jesus really said where he told you that the Kingdom of Heaven does not come by observing the outer rules and dogmas of a religion. Because the Kingdom of God is within you and it is there you must discover it, and that means you must resolve the issues in your psychology that are preventing you from being in the Kingdom of God.

The Hubble telescope and the infinity of the universe

Question The Hubble telescope is how we’re getting these fabulous images from so far away, it’s almost unfathomable yet our astronomers can tell us just using mathematics that this is a star being born or this is a black hole in development and I always wonder if they are bluffing because it’s all the math they are using. So my question is twofold: are these actually what they say they are and are we likely to see new images different than what we are now seeing either through the Hubble telescope or through these rovers that we send far, far away to other planets?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Nothing is as the materialists say it is, but nevertheless the Hubble telescope is, of course, recording valid data that scientists are interpreting within their current worldview, within their current thought system. There are, of course, other ways to interpret the data.

It is clear that what humankind is doing with astronomy is exactly what they are doing with particle accelerators. They are trying to discover more and more details. Whether you go to smaller and smaller subatomic particles or whether you go further and further into the universe, you will never reach something ultimate and you will never reach the ultimate understanding.

As you can keep dividing the distance between here and there into the halfway point indefinitely, you can actually keep traveling out or reaching out into the universe indefinitely. I said you could reach into the universe indefinitely, I did not thereby say that the universe is infinite. Because there is a subtle distinction to be made that even Einstein had intuitively seen.

If you traveled out into space and kept going in the same direction, you would one day return to your starting point from the opposite direction. Even though it is not quite as simple as explained by Einstein, the reality is that when you travel further and further into space, there will come a point where you are actually beginning to look back towards where you came from but because you are seeing this from a different perspective, you think you are seeing something different.

The real issue here is, again, whether you look deeply within matter or whether you look further and further into space, you will never discover that final discovery that will give you the theory of everything. You will only do this when you step back and look at the whole and you will actually only fully understand the universe when you stop looking at the smallest and stop looking at the biggest and start looking in the mirror. Because it is only by looking at consciousness and the role of consciousness, coming to understand this, that you will understand the world in which you live.

Is politics the works of Satan?

Question: Saint-Germain mentioned earlier that we could do something for our country by being interested in politics or doing something in that direction and this is a rather new idea for me because I used to be a part of a religion that teach that all current politics were a part of the fallen mindset, Satan and his demons that are reigning over the Earth. Well, I’m not believing any more the way I used to but then I just think about why did Jesus not show interest to have some more political power in Israel as they wanted to make him into a king?

It is clear that the political arena has been a tool for the fallen beings and the dark forces but this does not mean that politics is inherently evil. Politics is, as any aspect of human life, simply a tool that can force people into situations where they actually need to raise their awareness in order to get out of certain problems that they have created for themselves. Politics is a learning tool just like everything else.

There is nothing inherently evil about this and it is simply the Alpha and the Omega. In a more golden age society it will be seen that the spiritual field is the Alpha and the political field is the Omega, but both are needed because you cannot create a functioning society only by having the religious people define the rules for that society. You can see an example of this with the Sharia law in Muslim countries.

In an ideal society, there will actually be a spiritual aspect that is focused on raising people’s consciousness and giving them a greater vision, helping them reach higher levels of Christhood. Then, when they have reached a certain level of Christhood, then they are qualified to go into politics and now start serving their nation in that arena in terms looking at how do we make the practical aspects of society work.

Both are needed, but of course in an ideal situation politicians have a certain level of Christhood or they allow the people to vote and then are satisfied with that this is the people’s learning opportunity. There is nothing inherently evil about it. It is all what you make it. You can certainly turn around and see that religion has also been a tool for evil and certainly been a tool for Satan in many cases, including certain Christian branches of religion.

Why did Jesus not encourage his followers to do this? It was because you were at a different time where the collective consciousness was much lower. Jesus’s goal was to set forth an example that, first of all, it is possible to reach a higher state of consciousness, and therefore initiate this movement where people could systematically walk the path to Christhood.

It was not that Jesus necessarily ignored politics or thought it was evil or unnecessary. It was just that Jesus took embodiment at a specific place, at a specific time in history. In the Jewish nation at Jesus’ time a big political issue was the Roman occupation. As we have said, Jesus did not come to be the warrior king that would free Israel from the Romans. That was not his issue and that is why he tended to stay out of the political arena.

In today’s age, when the consciousness has been raised and when there is more awareness and more teachings about the path to Christhood, it is a natural part of your path to Christhood that you also begin to look at: “How can I serve the whole? How can I help other people? How can I help society?” This does not mean that all of you need to be experts in politics, all of you need to study it even, as Mother Mary just said. It does mean that for some of you it will be part of your Christhood to know about politics, to take an active part, or even to speak out and state these new ideas and new ways to look at the field.

Again, when you hear someone say this very generalized statement, for example, that politics is the works of Satan, you know you are dealing with people who are completely trapped in black-and-white thinking. Of course, with all the teachings we have given on the need to transcend black-and-whiteteaching, you have a good opportunity to make use of that, to simply put that behind you and see that it was a necessary experience you needed to have but you certainly do not need to carry it with you for the rest of your life.

Quantum computing, Aristotelian logic and the evolution of the universe

Question: The question is about quantum computing. We’ve had a long period now of the binary system of ones and zeros either on or off, not both; and now quantum computing and quantum physics is really approaching a breakthrough of multiple states, simultaneous states, superposition and so on. It seems there is a parallel going down the linear line into the spherical reality and I wonder about positive outcomes and directions and potentials between one and zero…and so on…

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

It is clear that the form of computing you have now is not the ultimate stage of the evolution of computer technology. I naturally have in my plan for the Golden Age much more advanced forms of computing. Quantum computing as it is popularly called is a field that has some potential, but it does not have a real potential with the current binary computing system. It is necessary to step up to a more advanced form of computing where you do not have just on and off signals, but a variety of signals of, so to speak, gradations in between on and off.

You may say, is not it contradictory that something can be both on and off, but the reason why you think so is because scientific inquiry has been based on Aristotelian thinking, as Astrea said. Aristotelian logic says that a statement can be true or it can be untrue, but it cannot be both true and untrue at the same time. The reality is that this is a very limited perspective because you are creating a system where your understanding of reality has to be reduced to statements that can be answered with a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’, a ‘true’ or ‘untrue’, an ‘on’ or ‘off’.

My beloved, what has created the entire universe with all of the multiplicity you see? Current computing is based on the idea that by combining the two signals – on and off – in a sequence, you can encode all possible information. This is a complete fallacy. You can only encode the kind of information that can be expressed in an “on and off,” binary mindset.

Nature is not binary. The universe is not either ‘on’ fully in its present state or ‘off.’ The Big Bang did not instantly manifest the current physical universe. Everything has been an evolution. This has happened through an infinite variety of the combination of various elements that have even evolved over time so that there are more elements today than there were at the time of what scientists call the Big Bang—not that I am endorsing that particular philosophy and theory.

You need to recognize here that for computing to reach its full potential, people need to be able to think beyond the binary mindset, and there are people in embodiment who are able to do this. There will not be a real breakthrough before these people come to the forefront and they are able to express their intuitive sense of what these other signals could be. This is too technical for the messenger’s knowledge but there are people in embodiment who can take computing to the next level by tuning into my vision for this.

Now, it also needs to be recognized that, as I said before, there are some times where I have to release technology that takes humanity to another level but it is not the ultimate form of technology. Computing is simply a tool. It is not so that there will come a point where computers can solve all problems. Computers are just one among many tools that will bring the Golden Age. It is not by any means the only one because, as I have said before, what really will bring the golden age is that more and more people tune in to the ideas that are coming from my mind.

It is, as the Platonian or Plato’s logic, that there are ideal forms in a higher realm that can be brought into the physical realm. What was lacking from Plato’s philosophy (in a more specific sense at least), was that he did not quite realize that this happens through the human mind because you are the co-creators. Ultimately, it is intuition that is the key to bringing fourth the Golden Age, not to create some kind of supercomputer that can suddenly know everything. As Astrea said, knowing everything about the details of the universe, which is primarily what computers are being used for and are suited for, will not help you understand the whole.

There is definitely promise in the technology and there will be some breakthroughs in computing. Computing will not reach its full potential until the current materialistic mindset is transcended by a greater number of scientists and technicians, inventors, economists, politicians, and people in general so that they can accept that the universe is not materialistic, is not mechanical in nature.

If you think about it, really, the current understanding of quantum physics, which is quite frankly incomplete, but nevertheless the reason why there is a talk of quantum computing and parallel states and all these things is that quantum physics opened up for the possibility that the universe is not mechanical. Isaac Newton brought forth a philosophy that said that the universe was working according to invariable laws so there were no exceptions in the Newtonian worldview.

In the quantum worldview there is always the possibility that 99.9% of the time the ball does not pass through the wall but at one point it could happen that the ball passed though the wall. This actually demonstrates to you that science is at the point where it needs to recognize that if we want to step up to a higher level we need to recognize that the universe is not mechanical.

What does it mean that the universe is not mechanical? What is it that can create this variableness that makes it possible sometimes to go beyond the laws of nature that function most of the time? What is it that could potentially make these laws of nature unnecessary so we transcend them to a higher level?

Well, it is precisely consciousness, and therefore there comes a point where scientists will have to look at the human brain and how the human brain processes information because it is a much more subtle, much more multifaceted way. This is, again, the key to understanding the future of computing where you encode information not in a binary way but in a much more multifaceted way. Again, there are people who are close to breaking through and understanding this and who are able to tune in to the ideas I wish to release.

Why can’t we just focus on ourselves?

Question: Why is it important for us to know about the political system and the economy when the focus is really to look at yourself?

As was said yesterday, my beloved, the process of walking the path is to a large degree a process of selecting out what you are not focusing your attention on. Even when you are an ascended master student, it does not mean that you have to pay attention to everything we say. There can be some of you who are in a phase in your lives where it is more important to focus on yourself, your own psychology and focus within. Then, you should do that if you feel that is important for you.

There are others that come to a level where you will actually not grow further by focusing on yourself because you need to now start expressing your Christhood. Expressing your Christhood means helping something, serving something, working on something that is beyond your personal interests. That is when you then can step up and in various ways you can help other people at a personal level.

There also comes a point where it is natural for you that you want to express your Christhood by doing something to change your nation or change the world. That is when you then start to make calls on this and the more you know about it, of course, the more precise calls you can make.

Also, just your own curiosity will want to know how the world works because you come to the point where you realize that most human beings on earth form their opinions based on very superficial knowledge of the situation. As you grow towards Christhood, you no longer want to have these superficial opinions so you want to study the political system or the economy so you can form a more informed opinion.

You can even come to a point where you are not really forming opinions but you are simply studying a topic so that you understand without necessarily forming what you normally call an opinion. You are simply just aware of how the system works.

If you feel it is important for you to focus on your personal growth, by all means do so. Then, when you come to the point where you feel the desire to serve some outer cause, some greater cause, then you can start making the calls on the political system.

We are, of course, a little bit in a dilemma because we do not have so many students and the more people make the calls, the greater of an effect it has. We are always grateful when people make the calls and really, even if you are working intentionally on yourself, it is not so difficult to find time once in a while to give an invocation for a more planetary issue.

Pendulums and other mechanical ways of getting answers

Question: Is it allowed to use a pendulum to ask questions and will they answer?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

The ascended masters never respond to a pendulum, my beloved. This is because it is a mechanical device and we do not respond to mechanical devices.

For you to reach us, you need to raise your consciousness to the point where you no longer need to use this, whether it is a pendulum, muscle testing, numerology, Tarot card—any of these devices that people have come up with. I know that in past ages there have been people, for example, who used crystal balls to put themselves in an altered state of consciousness where they were more receptive. It is not that this did not have a certain validity in past ages because the collective consciousness was lower, but in the present age it has no validity. It is not that you cannot get answers by using any of these methods, but you will not get them from the ascended level.

You will get them from beings in the lower identity realm or the mental realm or even the emotional realm and so you need to decide from where you want your answers. Some people, I know, are so desperate to get a certain answer that they will take it from almost any source. But when you are an ascended master student and know about our teachings, you need to recognize that it is your responsibility to raise your consciousness to the level where you can get an answer from within yourself through your intuition. That is why we do not have the messenger answer personal questions and why we do not answer personal questions through the messenger because it actually ends up hindering your Christhood.

You need to see that it is your responsibility to apply the teachings to get answers from within. Then, you need to accept that until you are able to get those answers, you may not have an answer to that question. It cannot necessarily be resolved.

What you will also need to recognize is that many of the questions people have out there about whether they should do this or whether they should do that (should I marry this person, should I marry that person), all of these things, they do not have a direct, linear answer. The real resolution to a question is that you actually raise your consciousness so that the question becomes obsolete. You actually no longer need to ask it because you have transcended the limitations that caused the question to be there or to cause it to seem like it could not be resolved and that is why you needed to have the answer from a higher source.

You, of course, also need to recognize that as an ascended master student, as a person on the path to Christhood, there are certain times where you simply need to make a decision and then observe the consequences. Many times when people ask these questions (especially when they are willing to use a mechanical device or a psychic or want the answer from some channeller or some higher source supposedly), it is really just because they are not willing to make a personal decision. They want some higher source to tell them what to do so they can act with some sense that this was the highest possible choice, and therefore the outcome is not their responsibility. But how are you going to grow in Christhood from this? It simply is not possible.

You need to recognize that even if you have an intuitive connection to the ascended masters, there are times where you will not get an answer from within. This is something to keep in mind when you reach the higher levels of Christhood. You can still in the outer mind be attached to getting a certain answer, doing the right thing. But there are situations where, even though in other areas you can have a connection to us and we can give you certain insights, there are certain situations where we will not do this because you can only learn by making a decision based on what you know now; and then experience the consequences, using that to raise your awareness so you can make a better decision.

Halal slaughter, Sharia law, renewal of Islam

Question: Can the masters comment on the (religious) ritualistic killing of animals (and how pork is impure to eat for the Islamic people)?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

One of the real concerns that Jesus had in terms of how he could help the Jewish people move forward was that they absolutely needed to rise above the whole tradition of animal sacrifice. Naturally, human beings are the ones who have committed the sins, and inflicting suffering and pain upon animals in order to supposedly wash the sins of humans clean, is simply a form of collective insanity.

Unfortunately, the Jewish people were not so eager to overcome this tendency and even Paul’s attempt to say that the spilling of Jesus’ blood on the cross, had made it unnecessary to perform human sacrifices has not necessarily had a positive effect. So many fundamentalist Christians now believe that it was the spilling of the blood of Jesus that bought the freedom from sin for all of humanity. As we have taught over and over again, you need to change your consciousness in order to be free of what you call sin.

In terms of Islam, the entire ritual around slaughtering animals in a specific way is, again, really (if you want to be direct) a form of collective insanity. It has no spiritual significance to slaughter animals this way. It does not make the meat more pure to eat to let the animals bleed out. It causes unnecessary pain on the animals and therefore releases misqualified energy that ends up then burdening the collective consciousness and the individual people. The people who perform it make karma and in a sense the people who allow the practice to continue by eating the meat also make a certain karma for it.

My beloved, this is a delicate issue in the sense that on one hand you could say that human beings should never inflict unnecessary pain and suffering on animals but how do you define “unnecessary pain and suffering?” You cannot be alive on this planet without taking up space that would otherwise be occupied by animals. The building in which you are sitting, there could have been a meadow or a forest here and there could have been animals living here. What we get down to here is, of course, that human beings have a right to be on the earth even if it affects nature and the animals.

In terms of whether pork is an impure meat, well it certainly depends on how you define “impure.” I know that in previous ascended master dispensations it has been said that pigs were created through genetic manipulation in a previous age. As I said yesterday about genetically modified foods, there also comes a point where you need to rise above this. Generally speaking, a pig is not inherently more impure than other animals because all animals are a reflection of a certain state of consciousness that is not the Christ consciousness. Basically, hardly any of the species of animals you see on the earth today would survive if the earth was completely freed from the dualistic mindset.

What this really shows is that the people who are in the Islamic religion (and the mindset behind that religion) are still very tied in to black-and-white thinking. They are very tied in to a ritualistic approach to life where they want to define outer rules. This, of course, is not a sustainable situation because the only way Islam can survive as a religion in the coming decades and in the Golden Age, is that it finds its way back to its mystical roots. This is the only way any religion can survive, and so it needs to be recognized in Islam that there was a certain validity to the original revelations, but not all of the verses in the Koran are the original revelations, some of them come from a dualistic source. That is why you can twist the Koran to justify Jihad.

It needs to be recognized also that the entire Sharia law that was created at a later time is not in alignment with the ascended masters, is not in alignment with universal spiritual principles and simply will not carry Islamic countries into the modern age. They will only create more and more internal conflict, more and more internal upheaval, until it spills over into violence as you have already seen in many countries. It is clear that this will start as an aggression against those who are not Muslims, but as you see with IS or ISIS, Muslims are quite willing to kill other Muslims when they have put themselves in a fanatical mindset. If Islam cannot overcome this weight that they are dragging with them from the past, you will only see more of this in coming decades.

The role of Poland and Eastern Europe

Question: What is the role of Poland and the Polish people who are in some ways lagging behind. What is our role and how can we get closer to the Golden Age consciousness?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Well, it is very, very true, my beloved, that when Communism collapsed there was a certain mindset in Western Europe that because Western Europe had remained free and democratic, because you had a higher economic and technological and in some ways cultural development, Western Europe was superior to Eastern Europe.

There was also a consciousness in many eastern european nations, not only Poland, that without being spoken or recognized consciously, many of these countries and the people felt that the fact that they were suppressed by the Soviet Union, by Russia, and were part of the Warsaw Pact or part of the Soviet Union, must mean that they were somehow inferior. They were not able to avoid this, they were not able to stand up for themselves and there was even a sense that the western nations were not willing to ensure their freedom after the Second World War, and that meant that they were not valued and that they were let down by the western nations.

There was actually an incredible range of issues that ideally should have been brought out and debated after the collapse of Communism. I can say unequivocally, that Western Europe faced a historic opportunity at the collapse of Communism. I have said before that nations will reach a certain level of development where they will really not go further until they use their affluence or their development, their awareness, to help others. The Western European nations had a historic opportunity to help their brothers from Eastern Europe. They did not choose to take this fully. They did help, but they could have done much, much more. They could have also done much more psychologically, but I realize that given the state of Europe and the collective consciousness, it would have been a very big leap.

It could have been done but it would have been a big leap and it was not done, so rather than lamenting about the past, it is actually necessary that Europe in the future hopefully will go through a more open debate about the different nations and whether some are inferior or some are superior. It is clear that the Polish people have had a sense of inferiority, which partly relates to the history of the Polish people. You have been overrun so many times by outsiders from both the East and West. As we have said before, this is a role that you have chosen to take on and it actually shows that there is a certain maturity as a nation.

What needs to be done is that the Polish people take a look at this openly and you come to the conclusion that you are in no way lacking, you are not inferior and you are really, first of all, not inferior in terms of humanity. Humanity is found everywhere. Mature souls are found in every nation. Good, well-meaning people are found in every nation. I am not here talking about just spiritual people who have a certain level of Christhood. I am not even talking about necessarily the top 10%, but in every nation you see people who have reached a state of being non-aggressive, being what you would call good, peaceful people who have good intentions towards their fellow men.

This is a basic level of humanity that, if it is recognized, can tie people together. Certainly, the Polish people have this in abundance and all the other nations of Eastern Europe—the people have this. Russia, the people have this as well, many of them, not all and certainly not all in every country. But in terms of what you are going through in Poland right now with the new government that is trying to stand up for Poland, well it is a necessary phase and it is the only way you can do it right now. It is not the ultimate approach. It is not necessarily such a mature approach and it is not necessarily going to buy you much respect from Western European nations. But in terms of the impact on the Polish psyche, it is a necessary step.

There is, of course, a higher approach because you are not really overcoming inferiority by pounding your hand on the table and saying: “Now pay attention to us.” You are overcoming your sense of inferiority by looking at yourselves. Again, Polish people are not going to find their true self-worth by changing the behavior of Western European nations towards Poland. You are going to find it by looking into the individual psychology and the national psychology and looking at why you feel you are inferior and coming to the point where you recognize your own humanity and recognize that you have no reason whatsoever to feel inferior to any other nation or any other people.

Spiritual meaning of Brexit

Question: What is the spiritual meaning behind the UK Brexit decision?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Well, “spiritual meaning” could be interpreted at many different levels, my beloved. At the very basic level we could say that the spiritual meaning behind Brexit is that some people only learn through the School of Hard Knocks. The Brits have a tendency to be a little hard of hearing, seen from my perspective, and so they have chosen to leave the E.U. and now they must face the hard knocks that they will surely get.

On a more subtle level, the real issue is this sense of inferiority/superiority dynamic that has been going on in Europe for centuries, especially focused in the larger nations, primarily Germany, France and England. The British, of course, have their own version of it. Quite frankly, England has not let go of it as much as France and Germany have. Germany, especially, has made progress based on the very drastic experience they had with Adolph Hitler and the “superior race.”

The Brits have not been willing to quite examine this national mindset and so they have not been able to engage in the European Union with what in this invocation you gave was called “true cooperation.” They have always been wanting to have one foot in and one foot out. Of course, Britain is not the only nation like this, but there are many other European nations that have gone into this with a better spirit of cooperation than the British people have had.

As a result of this, it came to the point where the dissatisfaction with the E.U. had reached the level where a politician promised the British people that they would be able to vote on the issue. Of course, nobody seriously thought that they would vote to leave the E.U. and everybody was surprised, including most of the people. Now they have to face the reality that this was a binding vote—this has consequences.

What this really forces the British people to rethink (whether they are willing to do this or whether they are aware of this or not) is: “Are we willing to cooperate with other people?” You could even go a little deeper and say: “Are we able to cooperate with other people, given our current level of national consciousness?”

It would be important if the British people could debate this because, really, you have seen (going back to the colonial empire), how the British people could relate to other people well, if they were in a superior position. If you go back to the situation in India, you will see how Gandhi had to go through some very drastic steps to make the British realize that they needed to leave India.

To their credit, the British people did see this, but they still did not come to the point where they were willing to look at the sense of superiority. What they could have realized from this experience was that the British people were not superior to the Indian people, that Britain as a nation was not superior to India. Britain was in some ways more developed but not superior, my beloved.

With this I mean that the essence of the superiority complex is that you are in a different category than other people and that is why you are superior. By seeing the obvious wisdom and humanity of Gandhi and the Indian nation, Britain had the opportunity to realize that it is the same humanity and that the Indian people were not lacking in humanity and that the British people were not superior in humanity and that we all share something in common.

This would be the greatest progress that Britain could make in the coming years and decades—if there was a debate about this and if the British people could honestly look at: “What was it that motivated us to want to leave the E.U.? What was it that caused us to never actually fully enter the E.U., at least not in our minds?”

You will see very clearly that along with this sense of superiority comes the tendency to create a scapegoat and blame the scapegoat for the problems you cannot solve. In a sense, the E.U. became a scapegoat for the problems that Britain could not solve as a nation. Now it is foreigners who have become the scapegoat for why there are certain problems in Britain. What this does is, of course, that it only makes it more difficult for you to solve the problems because you are not willing to look at yourselves and see how you have to change your consciousness in order to solve these problems. You are thinking it is the others who have to change for us to solve the problems.

This, by the way, is a mindset that also applies to the newly elected American president who also has that tendency to want to find a scapegoat, define that they are the problem and then say: “If we can force them to change, then we’ll solve the problem”. Of course, you will never solve your problems until you look at yourself and your own state of consciousness.

Really, the spiritual significance was that because the British people were not willing to look at this aspect of the national psychology, they simply had to withdraw because now they cannot blame the E.U. for the problems in the nation. This means that they will be faced with the situation where the problems are still there and: “Now, what do we do about it? We can’t blame anybody, so what do we do?”

In terms of spiritual significance, it is also significant that Scotland with a rather large majority is positive towards the E.U. and wants to remain in the E.U. This is significant because it again forces the British people to look at: “Who are we really? How do we relate to other people? Do we have superiority in England over Scotland, over Northern Ireland? Do these people have a right to self-determination, do they have a right to say we want to remain in the E.U.? and since England is not in the E.U., then Scotland must become independent so it can join the E.U.”

I am not saying there is only one solution to this. I am just saying that it is again significant because it forces a debate. That is why you see, for example, the current British Prime Minister who says that she does not even want to talk about Scottish independence until the E.U. is a settled matter. It is necessary to start talking about it because, again, the British people and the British politicians have chosen this path and now they must face the consequences and this is one of the consequences.

Children and the parent’s personal time

Question: Should we allow our children to disturb us while we are meditating?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Holland in 2017.

Well, yes and no my beloved. You need to discern when the child comes to you for a legitimate reason and when the child just comes because it wants attention. This is not something you need to decide in the immediate situation but on a more long-term, you can talk to your children and make it clear to them that you have a right to have some time for yourself and that this is your time. Therefore, they only disturb you if they have an important reason. This would be the best approach to it.

Now, my beloved, there is, of course, no black-and-white way to approach this because children and parents and their relationship is so individual. I can assure you that there were times where I was attempting to meditate and Jesus would come and disturb me because he had some very, very important issue that he had to bring to my attention. It was not often because I was so busy that I rarely had the luxury of having time to meditate.

I would, especially as the children get older, attempt to explain to them basically that even though you are their mother, you are also an individual person and you have the right to have private, personal time. You need to have this, and this is your time and they need to respect it.

Are crystals useful?

Question: A lot of people using crystals for healing. Is it really useful do you think? Because I’ve always thought myself that I think feel is some very good energy. How an ascended master can comment about this. Is it really, is it OK to use this one? And are they really conscious beings? Like someone says All crystals, they are conscious beings.”

Answer by Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels, given at a conference in Estonia 2017.

We have in previous ascended master organizations given teachings about crystals. So it is a valid tool to use. However, we do not talk about it now because the teachings we are giving today through this messenger are given for a higher level of consciousness, where you no longer really need the crystals.

Of course, this is an individual matter. So if you feel that you need the crystals and if you feel they have a positive effect on you, there is nothing wrong with using them.

Now, there may be some crystals that have an elemental associated with them. You can say that this is a conscious being, but it is not a self-aware being. So you should not go into thinking that this being has some sophisticated consciousness and certainly not think that there is an ascended master that is in the crystal or working through the crystal.

The direction in which chakras spin

Question: Can you explain what is the right way for chakras to spin, when the chakras are spinning?

Answer by Kim Michaels, given in 2017 at a conference in Estonia.

Kim: They normally spin clockwise when you are looking from inside yourself.

Question: How do you know that this goes in the right direction?

Kim: Well, if it goes in the wrong direction; you will often feel either an agitation in the chakra, or you can even feel a physical pain. I once had a situation when I was fairly new to ascended master teachings. I had difficulty sleeping. And I often felt a certain agitation, stress. And one day I was reading a book. It was from the Summit Lighthouse, dictations by Kuthumi.

There was nothing outer that triggered this that I’m aware of; but suddenly I realized that my solar plexus chakra was spinning the wrong way. I became aware of this and I realized that for years and years I had had this almost physical pain in the solar plexus area. And I just sort of tuned in to Kuthumi spontaneously, without thinking about it.

Suddenly, I literally saw from my inner eye that this hand came down from above. And I saw that my chakra was like a disc and there was a handle on it, like one of these handles that turns. This hand just grabbed this handle, and then very slowly stopped the spinning of the chakra. There was like a second where I felt that the chakra was not spinning at all. Then very slowly, it started spinning the other way and picked up speed. From that moment, I never had that physical pain again. I don’t know why this happened. I mean, it was just a gift that I received. And so that’s why I’m saying you can often have a physical sensation in the area of the chakra if it’s very unbalanced or spinning the wrong way.

Question: All chakras spin clockwise.

Being grounded and ungrounded

Question: The question is about being grounded. I assume that being grounded is normal. Are there like any psychological causes or unbalances, which could cause being ungrounded? Where could this lead when you are being ungrounded for a long time? It is like having connection with the Mother Earth, this is what I was thinking about being grounded.

Being grounded does not truly mean being connected to Mother Earth. It means being balanced in your four lower bodies, at least as I prefer to use the terminology. What happens to many spiritual people is that, as Jesus just described, they can become unbalanced in various ways. Some become over-eager to make spiritual progress. They attempt to take heaven by force. They push too hard. They invoke more light than their chakras can handle. There can actually be situations where people can have or create holes in their auras so that there is an inroad for lower energies or dark forces. There are also people who can experience some kind of severe situation that gives them this kind of imbalance, some kind of crisis in their lives.

The best way to deal with this is, of course, once you have become severely ungrounded; you need to make calls for protection, calls to Astrea to cut you free from dark forces. You also need to realize that you cannot overcome the state of being ungrounded through force. You cannot push your way out of being ungrounded. You need to strive for balance.

There are some cases where people have become ungrounded, so to speak, by being on a vegetarian or vegan diet for longer than their bodies can actually handle it. In order to achieve some state of balance, they need to eat more dense food, such as at least lighter forms of meat, fowl or fish.

There can be examples where people have emotional traumas that makes them ungrounded. They need to then seek emotional healing through various forms of therapy, if it is a severe imbalance; or by using our teachings.

There can be times where people are ungrounded because they have certain mental beliefs that give them a sense that they have some very high, very important mission. They have to work with these very advanced beings, and so forth and so on. Even some ascended master students have been so anxious to work with us that they become ungrounded and seek to take heaven by force instead of walking the gradual path.

We always talk about the path being gradual, taking one small step at a time, not seeking to do too much. Again, you can become so overanxious to make progress that it actually makes you ungrounded. Therefore, you have either, as I said, a hole in your aura or some of your chakras have become unbalanced. They can even spin the wrong way. You need to then make the shift where you focus your attention on attaining balance, calmness. If it is too much to give decrees or invocations, then use mindfulness. Try to center yourself.

There can even people who need to set aside any kind of spiritual practice or study and engage in some kind of physical activity that then gives them more of a sense of balance. In that sense, it can sometimes be helpful for people to work with the earth, to work with some kind of gardening or farming work. Even doing physical labor can be helpful for people who have become ungrounded.

This messenger, for example, in the early years after having found the spiritual path, had periods where he did physical labor. He was aware that this actually helped him make faster spiritual progress because the physical labor gave him a certain state of groundedness that then enabled him to invoke more light without becoming unbalanced.

Feeling paralyzed on the spiritual path

Question: When you are waking up and finding spirituality; for myself I have the experience of also being paralyzed from that awakening for a while. Among my friends, I still have friends who are really still stuck in that paralysation. And some use kind of like sugar addictions or alcohol addictions to kind of run away without really getting anywhere. What is a way to come out of that kind of loophole, if you find yourself in one?

Personally my experience was that I was really paralyzed that I had this huge understanding that the world is way bigger and I was kind of afraid of doing something wrong. I was afraid of doing something that made new consequences in a wrong direction or that. So I had to like hide for a while.

This reaction is very common for spiritual students. It is in large part caused by the fact that you grow up without a spiritual understanding. If you had been given more of a spiritual understanding as children, you would not have such an abrupt shift between the understanding you were brought up with and suddenly awakening to the spiritual side of life and the spiritual path. It is primarily caused by the fact that you take the step up to the awareness of the spiritual side of life very quickly, within a short period of time. It simply takes time for you to adjust.

We could say, as just one expression of this, that when you become aware of the spiritual path, you are in a sense thrust into an identity crisis. You have grown up seeing yourself a certain way, whether it is in the Christian tradition or based on materialism, and suddenly you see that you have a much wider identity. But how do you actually adjust to this?

There is a certain conscious-level adjustment that takes place, but you also have certain feelings stirred up. At the mental level, you have to really process what you believe about life. Of course, even at the identity level, there can be an old sense of self, an old sense of identity, that actually needs to die, but this can feel scary to you. It is really helpful for you to realize that when you first awaken to the spiritual path, it is a very big change and it can take some time to adjust for most people. It is just necessary to have some patience with yourself.

Now, another common reaction is, of course, that people can get very, very eager to make progress and so they become unbalanced, push too hard. Some people can go into this crash-and-burn syndrome where they first strive very hard, then they simply burn out. It is too much. They cannot deal with the energy that is suddenly flowing through them. Their chakras get out of control. In some cases, they have to then numb themselves they feel with alcohols or drugs or heavy foods or by withdrawing from the spiritual path and engaging in more physical activities.

It is also common, as you described, that you have grown up without an understanding of karma and suddenly you understand that everything you do can have some kind of consequence. Then, you can become so afraid of making further consequences for yourself that you almost do not dare to do anything. This is a reaction caused, again, by the fact that you have an abrupt awakening, whereas if you had been taught this from childhood, you would have adjusted to it more readily.

What you are actually going through is that you suddenly realize that all of your actions, even your thoughts and feelings, could create karma. You do not see which actions, or which thoughts and feelings create karma and which do not. You can become so afraid of the consequences that you would rather do nothing because it feels safer.

It is an understandable reaction. Of course, if it paralyzes you, it is not constructive. It is much better then to realize that so far, up until your realization that life has a spiritual side, you have been doing and thinking and feeling many things. Even though this may have created some karma for yourself, continuing certain patterns will not make so much karma that you cannot overcome it.

In fact, once you have awakened to the spiritual path and accept that there are certain tools for transmuting karma, then you do not need to be so afraid of making a small portion of karma because you know you can overcome it. You can then say to yourself: “Well, how am I going to make progress on the path unless I dare to try, unless I dare to experiment? And therefore, it is better that I do something, than that I go into this state of paralysis and do not dare to do anything.”

Of course, many of our teachings can help you overcome this initial fear. For most people it is just a matter of making a certain adjustment where you realize that the fact that you are now more aware should be used in a positive way. You should not allow the dark forces or your own ego to try to abort your spiritual growth by turning it into a negative. You can kind of expect the reaction from dark forces or from your own ego or even from other people where they will try to somehow derail you. You can just stay centered, try to stay balanced, and allow yourself this time to make the adjustment without pushing yourself too hard. If you feel something is too much, then take a break from studying spiritual teachings. Do not give as many invocations and decrees, if you feel it is invoking more light than you can handle, and so forth and so on.

It is common that people feel that because I did not know all this before; I have wasted so much time. So now, I really need to make progress. But again, if you become unbalanced or paralyzed, you are not actually making progress. There are people who are very eager to perform certain spiritual practices, but they are not actually making progress because they are using the spiritual practice as an excuse for not looking at themselves. That is why it is actually better to take a slower, more balanced approach, instead of going into either the imbalance of being overzealous or the imbalance of being paralyzed.

Translating the teachings into other languages

Question: Korean people are starting two courses after May conference this year. One is the Personal Self-Mastery course and another one is the Master Keys to Personal Christhood Course? By the way, Korean people had a big frustration for the Personal Christhood interpretation of the message for terminology.

We could not reach a mutual understanding between the translator and the coordinator of the course, because they are from different backgrounds. Another issue was how to respect each other even though people have different view and different interpretation. Another one is some people feel some boredom for the following two course at the same time. I know people have to manage by themselves for that. My question is: What can you give us some advice or recommendation to have a successful course for especially Personal Christhood; because there is some issue between translating, for example duality consciousness and they can be interpreted different way into Korean. And there are several cases.

You need to recognize, my beloved, that when you undertake something like this, where you as a group are studying the course of Christhood, then the challenges you run into with how you relate to each other, how you actually do the work of the course, that is part of the course. It is part of the initiation.

In terms of how you relate to each other and can respect each other; well, you need to understand here that there has always been a tendency for spiritual students to become attached to a certain interpretation and feel that their way is the right way, or even the only right way. Therefore, others should do it that same way. This is a state of consciousness that you need to overcome if you are to make progress on the path to Christhood. You need to develop that respect for each others free will and allow other people some freedom to follow the course, or to live their lives for that matter, as they see fit with their present level of consciousness.

You cannot be successful running a course like this if you have people who are very attached to their view and their opinion and want to force it upon others. I realize that such people often have good intentions; but nevertheless, this is not the path of Christhood.

In terms of doing two courses at the same time; well, we always have an issue that the most eager students want to do as much as possible in order to make progress as quickly as possible. We understand that there is a phase where you need to do this. You need to strive. You need to make an effort. But we always encourage balance so that you do not take on more than you can handle with respect also for your normal everyday practical life.

For many people it would be too much to follow both of these courses at the same time. Truly, the courses were not really designed to be followed at the same time. It is designed so that you begin with the Path of Self-Mastery and go through the rays there and then after that, you then go on to the path of Christhood.

Now, there are some people who are ready for the path of Christhood; but – and that is why that was given first – but you also need to recognize that you need to be practical. If you do not have time, if you get stressed by following both courses; you choose one over the other. It is up to you which one you choose because that is, again, part of the initiation.

There will always be some people who, if they are completely honest with themselves, are evaluating that the Christhood course is higher than the Path to Self-Mastery and they want to be advanced so they want to choose that course. But that is, of course, not the highest motivation, and it would be more constructive to start with the Path to Self-Mastery.

Parkinson’s disease

Question: So the question is about Parkinson’s disease. This syndrome when dopamine in the brain starts to degenerate and people start moving and shaking involuntarily and gradually cannot move. And you end up just a paralyzed person like in ten years or five years. So the question is: Is there some state of consciousness that multiplies these tendencies? Or is there something in common in consciousness of the people who have the disease? And is there going to be some healing or some cure for these people? Because now is not a very good treatment of the disease. Is this disease inherited from the parents to the children? Also what is spiritual cause of the disease?

Much of what I have said for the previous question about the adrenal syndromes can be applied to this Parkinson’s disease and certain other diseases that are considered to be degenerative diseases. It is caused by a reaction in the higher bodies that is caused by some kind of resistance or some kind of trauma that then releases certain chemicals that causes the nervous system to go into an overly stressed state where it cannot function normally.

The person cannot truly be at rest, which is why you have the phase where people shake uncontrollably. But eventually, it can become so severe that the shaking becomes so quick that the body cannot physically shake that quickly; and therefore, it goes into a state of paralysis.

The spiritual cure for this would then be to, again, consider if you, when you are an avatar, have some resistance to being here. Now, those who are not avatars who have this disease; it is because they have experienced very severe trauma in past lives. They could potentially, before the disease gets too severe, seek some kind of healing for this. Currently, of course, society does not provide this kind of healing and most people who are not on the spiritual path would not be open to it.

It is not that the disease, as such, is inherited in a physical way. There can be instances where, if your parents have this disease, it might be a sign that you could have the same syndrome in your higher bodies, which is why you have chosen to embody in this situation. It can be, in some cases, a warning that you might look at yourself when you are on the spiritual path and what resistance you have towards life. But it is not inherited at the genetic level.

Of course, the cure, ultimately, is not physical. Although there will come a time where, when modern medicine frees itself from the shackles of materialism, they will realize that there are energetic ways of dealing with many of these diseases. They will realize that the brain and the nervous system are the parts of the physical body that have the greatest response to energetic healing, to energy waves. It will even be possible to create physical energy wave generators that can alleviate the symptoms. This will, of course, not remove the cause, which is a psychological-spiritual cause; but, nevertheless, it will be possible to alleviate the symptoms. The same applies to, for example, Alzheimer’s or dementia, where this could be relieved by the right vibrations.

Adrenal fatigue resistance to being on earth

Question: I have a question about a condition called adrenal fatigue, when generally it’s about being tired all the time. So I’d like to hear some comment about it. 

Kim: In other words, because you are sensitive; you are reacting to certain energies in the world and that overstimulates your adrenal glands, because it’s a stress reaction.

Person: Yeah. Maybe it’s connected with what we said yesterday that maybe our anger against ourselves can stimulate it also, I don’t know, maybe we are stressed about being here. For example, why after years of giving invocations and decrees I feel more tired than more energetic.

As we have taught you, my beloved, there is always a connection between the physical body and physical symptoms and the three higher bodies. Now, in a condition like this there may be people who from early childhood, or at least from an early point in their lives, have had a physical problem, a  physical symptom in the adrenal gland. This is not to say that this is an entirely physical condition because it is simply that it has built up over several lifetimes and is now manifesting at the physical level from an early age. Bur there are, of course, also people who develop this later in life.

It is very true that it is a stress reaction. It is a reaction to feeling stressed. And therefore, of course, the adrenal gland does what it is supposed to do: releases the hormones that allow you to better respond to stressful or dangerous situations.

Of course, when you are doing this on a constant basis, then it will cause fatigue in the body because you simply get tired of always being in this tense state. It is not truly correct to say that this is a product of being a spiritual person because there can be people who are not aware of the spiritual path who also have this condition. It can be because they have experienced very traumatic situations, either in this life or in many cases in past lives.

It is, again, that in your emotional body, and even in the mental and to some degree the identity body, you have this sense that you are on a very dangerous planet. There is always a threat. You always need to be alert. You always need to be aware of something. This causes this stress that is more than physical stress. It is emotional, mental and even identity level stress.

There can be many people who have this who are not on the spiritual path. Of course, many spiritual people are more aware of their reactions. There are many spiritual people who then can take a spiritual teaching and use it to try to explain this reaction. There are even some who have actually increased this stress response by building the sense that there are dark forces who are after you all the time. Of course, we teach that there are dark forces who are seeking to influence you, but if you focus too much attention on this, you can certainly increase the stress response.

Now, for many of you this not the issue. It is a deeper issue that again relates to what we are teaching in the new book (My Lives with Lucifer, Satan, Hitler and Jesus), where we show you that those of you who are avatars, you can have a very deep sense of tension concerning being on this planet. You can feel very, very uncomfortable about being on this planet. This means that, as was mentioned in the question, it can relate to anger, but it can relate to many other things as well.

You simply, inside of you, in some level of your three higher bodies, you have a resistance to something on earth, some aspect of life that you cannot actually avoid at the physical level. At the emotional, mental or identity level or even all three levels, you are resisting that condition that you cannot avoid, and it may not be something that is dangerous. It could just be some aspect of life that over your many embodiments you have grown tired of dealing with.

You have this subconscious resistance to dealing with, in some cases, just every-day situations. Or it may be that you have given up on fulfilling your original goal for coming here, but you have not fully processed this and reached the insights that we have given you in the book and in these dictations. You just have this internal resistance that you do not want to be here. You have no purpose for being here. You feel there is no purpose. This creates this resistance that filtered down to the physical level and creates this stress response.

My best suggestion is to look at what Jesus in Holland called your spiritual MO; but extend this to, not only how you look at the spiritual side of life, but how you look at the material side of life. What is your basic attitude to the physical octave, to the matter realm, to the activities you have to deal with in your physical life? Then, consider where you have that resistance. Look at the resistance. Try to gain a different perspective on it. See that it is actually a separate self that has this resistance, not the real you.

Then, come to the point where you can identify it as a separate self. Therefore, you have separated yourself from it by seeing that it is not you. We have, of course, given you many, many tools for this that you can apply to this condition. In many cases it can help you to consider the concept of surrender because the only way to really overcome the resistance is to uncover the belief behind it and then surrender that belief.

Negative effects of Wifi

Question: I want to ask about the influence of WIFI on our bodies. Does it harm our bodies? Is it harmful to our cells? Staying in WIFI areas and having it at home.

My beloved, this is a question that cannot be answered with a yes or a no, in the sense that everything is energy. Different forms of energy can affect other forms of energy. What we can say is that for most normal healthy individuals there is no physical effect of WIFI, or for that matter radio or television waves. There can be some people, who have certain diseases where it can have an influence; but this is a very rare occurrence.

What we can say is that there can be an influence on the emotional body of some people. However, as a spiritual person who is giving calls or invocations for protection and who is raising your consciousness, it is not something you need to worry about. There can be some people at a certain lower state of consciousness who can be influenced at the emotional level by this. But a spiritual student who is using our tools will not be influenced by it. So it is not something that needs to concern you.

Manifesting versus creating

Question: My question is probably for Jesus. I would like to know more about the difference between creating and manifesting. Because, for example, I have some idea to make my own business in the near future just to get little bit more free financial and time and so on. But I’m a little bit disappointed here, because of that question. Because it’s kind of manifesting but I don’t know if it’s allowed. And what’s the difference between creating and manifesting something?

Kim: Do you have in your mind a certain difference of what you see? Why are you even asking is there a difference?

Person: Well, I also think that I’m kind of creating and I read always that it’s not allowed to manifest something on earth. It’s more about creating, because we are co-creators and there is…

Kim: Yeah. But that’s why I am asking, because I’m sensing that in your mind you have a specific view of what it means to manifest versus what it means to create. And I’m just asking you to describe that.

Person: For me it’s the same, because without creativity, you cannot – because the result of creativity is manifesting.

Kim: Because in my mind I would also say: Is there a difference? And I can see that there is some difference that some people have, because they have a different view of it.

Person: Is there a difference between the two?

Kim: Well, for some people there will be. So that’s why I was asking about yours. Because I know that there are some people out there who have this concept that you can manifest things out of thin air. There are other people that work on manifesting things just through the powers of the mind versus creating something. But many people also see that when you are creating a business, for example; you are manifesting a business. But you are, of course, taking practical steps to do it; not just sitting there and manifesting with the mind.

Person: As for example, because I was home, probably I want to work with children. And I’m looking still my way. But if I want to work with children; I have to look for some specific topic and is this manifestation, which I – Is it allowed for me? Or just should I now concentrate on myself and raise your consciousness?

Jesus: My beloved, there are some people who have gone into this state of mind where they are focused on increasing their psychic powers or their mind powers to where they can manifest things out of thin air, whether it be gold, whether it be this or that. They think this is a sign of spiritual attainment, but this, of course, is not what we encourage you to do.

First of all, because in this day and age, it is not the way we of the ascended masters want our students to attract people’s attention. As I just said in a previous answer, we want our students to be the open door for a transfer of light; not to come up with some outer manifestation. Even though I performed certain miracles 2,000 years ago, that was because the collective consciousness was lower and it quite frankly took a considerably larger effort to even get people’s attention than it does today, because many more people are more open today.

If we put this aside, this desire to manifest things out of thin air; then there is no real difference between manifesting and creating something. You are creating out of your own creativity, your own ideas and you take certain physical practical steps to do this. Of course, this is allowed. This is an expression of your creativity and you do not need to be afraid of experimenting with your creativity. You do not need to feel that this is inappropriate in any way.

It is truly one expression of Christhood that you may indeed manifest some new idea, whether it is a business or in education or another field, where there simply is a better way to do things than it has been done before. You are, therefore, helping life progress. You are helping to raise the All. There is, for that matter, nothing wrong with reaping some financial reward from this that allows you to continue serving in some capacity.

Preaching the gospel and baptizing people today

Question: I thought of Jesus and what he taught 2,000 years ago that as he was sending his disciples to go out into the whole world and preach the gospel of God’s kingdom. And he said we should make disciples and to baptize them and teach them everything he taught us. Is this still valid today?

Answer by Ascended Master Jersus through Kim Michaels, given at a conference in Estonia 2017.

It is as valid today as it was back then if you understand the true meaning of what I said. The quote in the Bible is not word for word correct. The entire concept of baptism was not what I said, not at least as baptism is understood by the Christian church of baptizing with water. Because what I had in mind was a baptism by the Spirit where you, as the one who is preaching the gospel, have reached a certain level of Christhood. You are able to be the open door for a transfer of light from the ascended masters.

Going out into all the world and preaching the gospel did not mean what most Christians today interpret it to mean, especially the fundamentalist variety, namely that you go out and preach the four Gospels or the other books of the New Testament. It does not mean that you go out and preach the official message of the Christian churches, whether the Catholic Church or any later church, and baptize them into that church and make them members of that church. That is not at all what I had in mind, as I have also described in several of my books and teachings.

What it truly means is that you go out and you not only preach; but you demonstrate the path of self-transcendence, the path to Christhood; the path of raising your consciousness. Thereby, you give people an alternative to the lower state of consciousness, the dualistic, carnal state of consciousness. This is the true meaning of it, and the true meaning really is to demonstrate the path so that all people can see that there is an alternative.

Now, when I said preach it to all people or to every creature; this needs to be again understood in a certain way. What I really wanted was that every person on earth, not necessarily as the amount of people that were in embodiment at that time, but that every person who is embodying on earth would in some lifetime encounter a person who had some degree of Christhood so that the person would have the same opportunity as those who met me when I was in physical embodiment.

Namely, that you encounter someone who has enough degree of Christhood that these people can sense that this person has something that they do not have. Therefore, they experience that there is a higher state of consciousness that can be achieved. This can then give them a choice that they did not have before they encountered a person with Christhood.

This does not mean that even today you need to look at that every person on earth should have this opportunity in their present lifetime. Some have had it in past lifetimes, have rejected it. Some may not be ready for it; but will have it in a future lifetime. You see, again, how there was a limit to what I could even express with words back then. There is, of course, a limit to how people could understand it. Then, you have the fact that after the fallen beings started influencing the Christian movement, primarily with the creation of the Catholic Church; they have perverted just about every concept that was given.

You just today have a royal mess, and there is no realistic way to clean up the mess. I really have no desire to clean up the mess; because it is a matter of transcending it and going back to the original meaning. But not just going back to the original meaning; because not everything that I wanted to give to people is in the present scriptures.

So it is really a matter of realizing that Jesus Christ is an ongoing being, that Jesus Christ is still here. I will be with you always. I am with you always. Therefore, you have the option to contact me today, to get to know my Being today and to get teachings from within. As, of course, this messenger has been able to do and has brought forth many valuable teachings. But it is not even a matter of going out and preaching these teachings to every creature.

As I said, this can be done in various ways. And it is not really a matter of preaching in words; but more about having such a level of attainment that you can be the open door, whereby I or another ascended master, through your heart chakra, can send a certain portion of spiritual light to another person that can then quicken their heart chakra so they get that opportunity to choose the path. Then, if they are choosing the path, you can give them other teachings and help them get started on the path. But the primary goal is to just give them a choice they did not have before and then be non-attached to what they do with that opportunity.

How can we teach our children what they don’t get in school

Question: A question to Mother Mary. So right now I have two children, one and four years of age. And they go to school for some years and our local school will not be changed according to golden age ideas in a few years. So what we can do practically to help teach or to help our children to go to kind of new way and to educate them in a new way; because the school system is the old way right now. What is a practical way what we can do to help our children? Because when we send them to school; they are in the machine and the system. And it works out and we really cannot influence it so much.

Well, this is very much a matter of the individual situation of people and what is practical for you. First of all, I would look for a school that has a different philosophy and a different approach, which could be a private school, if one is available within a reasonable distance from where you live. Then, I would, of course, carefully evaluate what is the philosophy of the school, what is the methods. There are private schools that are more aimed at developing the creativity of the child. This is a possibility, if it is practical for you.

If it is not practical for you, then you would send your children to the public schools. But then, you would work with them at home to, in various ways, to stimulate their creativity. You could, for example, talk to them about what they learn in school and give them a different perspective, a broader perspective on this. Now, there are, of course, more specific things you could do; but this is not really the time or the place to go into too much detail about it.

I realize, of course, that many parents are in the situation that you would like your children to have a better education; but you do not have the time or the expertise to do it yourself at home. If you cannot find a school that can do it, you are in a difficult situation. Then, I would say, again, make the best of what you can do and then seek to stimulate their creativity. There are even worldly ways or methods of stimulating children’s creativity and intuitive ability.

Also, seek to give them a perspective that they do not need to feel bad about not maybe fitting into the public school system, but they just need to do the best they can. They do not need to go into the race of getting the highest grades or this or that. They just need to learn certain basic things and then you will help them learn what they cannot learn in school. Again, many more concrete things could be given, but that would require more time. It would also require a messenger who has a greater awareness of different alternative teaching methods.

Added by Mother Mary: Don’t forget that one of the primary ways that children learn is by observing you as a parent. Thus, if you are walking the spiritual path, you will be teaching them invaluable lessons, especially if you tell them what you are experiencing without seeking to force it upon them or seeking to force them to believe what you believe.

Increasing our psychic or mental powers

Question: In the New Testament, if we read carefully, Jesus is acting as a person with very psychic energy or mental powers. So can he recommend us the tool or tools how to increase this mental power for us?

Answer by Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels, given at a conference in Estonia 2017

Well first of all, my beloved, I never get tired of helping people on earth or answering questions asked with the intent to grow. In terms of increasing your mental or psychic powers, there is no specific tool I wish to give for this because this is something that happens naturally when you walk the path to Christhood. We have, of course, given an abundance of tools for how to make progress on this path.

Now, the fallen beings have come up with various schemes for how you can increase your psychic or mental powers, especially with the goal of influencing other people. This is, of course, not something that is taught from the ascended masters. The general tools recommended are simply the tools we have given you.

For most people it will be beneficial to start with the Course of self-mastery and go through the seven rays, which are specifically designed to help you increase your powers, your mastery of mind over matter on each of the seven rays. Then, you can take up the other books of  my course in Christhood, Maitreya’s book (Master Keys to Spiritual Freedom), Mother Mary’s books on the abundant life and so forth.
