Question: Do the ten thousand beings who are chosen to walk on this planet Earth as living Christs need to go through the initiations of the seven rays?

Yes they do. Some of them may have done it in previous lifetimes but all beings on Earth need to go through this. You cannot ascend if you do not have a certain mastery and familiarity with the seven rays because they are the energies that make up the material realm.

Why Soviet Union didn’t annex Finland during WWII

Question: In 1939 the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact between the Soviet Union and Germany divided up certain countries between them in what they called spheres of influence: Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania. This led to invasions and a lot of problems but somehow Finland managed to save itself. Why could the Finnish people keep themselves free but the people of Estonia, for example, couldn’t?

There are always certain physical factors that could be pointed out. Finland had a larger area and a larger population than, for example, Estonia. It had a longer border with Russia. There was wild forest that was difficult to penetrate and so access wasn’t as easy. The population wasn’t as concentrated; it wasn’t as easy to attack. That is why, from a practical perspective, the Finnish soldiers were able to turn back the Russian army. These of course are the physical things.

On a more spiritual level, the people of Scandinavia, all the Scandinavian countries, have a higher internalization or a higher focus on the Freedom Flame than you see in the Baltic states and in other eastern European states.

This was, at the spiritual level, what gave them the drive to fight back the way they did. We have said before that we are not encouraging the attitude of “Give me liberty or give me death” but in certain situations when a country has been attacked by the fallen beings, this has been a necessary state of consciousness for the defenders of that country to be in, where they were willing to give their lives to avoid being conquered.

I am not saying that this was necessarily better or not better or this was right or wrong. I am not even thinking in those terms. The last initiation of Jesus

Question: Jesus gave up his last ghost on the cross, which I think was the belief that God would save him. If he could have gotten that understanding before, would it have been possible for him to avoid being crucified?

Regardless of whether I had the awareness of what would happen, that I would die on the cross and not be saved by angels, I could have avoided the crucifixion by making the choice not to go to Jerusalem and not to provoke the authorities of the Jewish religion. So there is always free will involved here. I would say that even if I had had the awareness of what would happen, I would still have chosen to go through it.

The reason I didn’t have the awareness was that this was the initiation I needed. I needed to face that kind of situation not only for my own sake but also to demonstrate that – regardless of where you are in consciousness, regardless of what people may project about you – there was still an illusion I hadn’t seen and that I hadn’t given up. That is, as we have said, the way it will be until we reach the 144th level.

The teaching on mercy

Question: In the teachings on mercy (Kuan Yin’s dictation in the book Making Peace with Being on Earth) it was said that I am not responsible for something my separate self did in accordance with karma. Do I still have to solve karma for something my separate self did?

Yes, of course you do. And it was also said in the teaching that you naturally need to invoke the light to consume the karma, to consume the energies that were created. The teaching is given specifically because there comes that point where you have to let go of the past.

This is simply a tool for helping you to let it drop and to drop any sense that you are responsible. You can never overcome this, as the fallen beings will keep projecting at you. They want you to remain stuck and this is a tool for helping you to be free of the past.

Communities in the Golden Age

Question: Can Saint Germain comment on the topic of communities? How will they look? Will we still have big cities, or will people live in smaller communities?

This is of course a very vast topic. In the age of community, as the Aquarian Age has been called, there will be many different types of communities that you can barely even imagine today. In terms of the question of big cities, there will be certain bigger cities and they will in many cases be dedicated to, for example, education or even a specific type of education. Some cities will be dedicated to spiritual education and others will be more worldly types of education. There will be some business centers but as we move deeper into the Golden Age, new forms of transportation technology will make it much easier for people to get around.

This means that there will be a tendency for people to spread out – move away from the big cities with all of the problems they give and move into smaller communities that are much more on a human scale. You then will see communal, community-owned housing, where groups of people will come together for a specific purpose because they have a common interest. For example, you can see today that people who have a certain spiritual teaching they are following will move together and it will be easier for them to commute to their workplaces.

There will also be a dispersion of businesses where instead of having the huge factories that you see today there will be much smaller units. In other words, there will be a tendency to go away from centralization which creates bigger and bigger units that lose any kind of human scale. People will move into smaller units more on the human scale so people can feel more at home, more connected. They will know each other better and many positive effects will come of people living in more close-knit groups instead of in the huge, very impersonal environments that big cities have become.

Relationships in the Golden Age

Question: Can the ascended masters expand on the topic of relationships in the Golden Age? Will marriage as it is seen currently have a different role?

My beloved, everything will change in the Golden Age. There will gradually be a raising of awareness, which, of course, will change the dynamic of relationships. There will be an increase in awareness about psychology and people’s ability and power to change their own psychology, overcome their psychological wounds. When more and more people start working on themselves individually and overcoming their psychological wounds then they will be able to have a much higher level of relationship than you have today and you won’t have the dynamic you so often see today where people’s wounds are driving the relationship.

Marriage as such will, in its current form, fade away. Church marriage will become more and more rare. There will in many cases be a certain registration of the relationship but not in the formal way of today. It will more be seen as two people entering a contract with each other where they make certain commitments.

For example, there will come a point, at least in some societies in the Golden Age where the advancement of the knowledge of reproduction and the tools for aborting pregnancy will be such that nobody will get pregnant by accident. Therefore there will come a point where society will actually require that before a couple is allowed to have a child they have to enter into a contract with each other where they make a commitment to raising the child to at least the age of eighteen.

People who enter into this contract if they have resolved psychology will be able to keep that commitment. They can of course have more children. They can also choose to extend the contract to a longer period of time.

But this will not be seen as something that is put upon people by God or the church where they make a promise before God. It’s simply that intelligent and aware people, mature people, make a promise to themselves and each other and that will be marriage.

It can, in various areas of the world, be implemented in different ways but there will be the sense that the couple is willingly and knowingly entering into this commitment, both for the sake of their own growth – because they promise to work with each other for that period of time instead of running away from their problems – but also for the sake of the children – because they promise to give the children a safe and secure start in life.

Ownership in the Golden Age

Question: Can Saint Germain comment on the topic of ownership of material things, such as houses and cars, in the Golden Age?

In the beginning stages of the Golden Age – and in a sense we are already in some aspects in the beginning stages of the Golden Age – there of course will be ownership, individual ownership, of many things, houses and cars included. As we move deeper into the Golden Age, the first thing that will happen is that cars will disappear and be replaced by a more advanced traveling technology.

There will be a tendency in the Age of Aquarius, which is the age of community, that instead of living in individual houses people will move into a more communal setting where there isn’t individual ownership but the unit – the commune or whatever you want to call it, whatever people will call it – will have ownership of the buildings so people can move in and out at various times.

There will also come a point where what you now call the state but which will be replaced by a higher unit that is not focused on the national state or the national level, will see it as its job to provide housing for all people. So there will be what we might in today’s world call state ownership of houses that people are then allowed to move into as they need.

Elementals and self-awareness

Question: Can the elementals, like an animal or a tree, develop conscious awareness and if so how does this process work, and has anyone on earth done so?

It is possible for an elemental to gradually, over a very long period of time, raise its awareness to where it can receive a threefold flame and therefore receive self-awareness and embody in a human body. There are many, many elementals on Earth who have done this. There are quite a number of people in embodiment today who started out as elementals. They often have a very great connection to the physical earth, to nature and so forth.

It isn’t actually so that an elemental that manifests – a tree, for example – can receive a threefold flame. It’s only true of an elemental that has been a body elemental for a human and therefore worked closely together with a soul that had self-awareness. As an interim stage elementals who are embodied, for example, in the body of a dog or a cat or another animal that has close contact with humans can also raise its awareness quicker than normal and therefore, as the next step, move on to become a body elemental for a human.

How the process works, well – this is almost impossible to explain for people who have not gone through it. In other words, if you are one of the original inhabitants of the Earth or an avatar, you have been given a threefold flame and have descended into embodiment and you raise your consciousness in a different way.

Elementals raise their consciousness in an entirely experiential way; they experience something and that gradually expands their awareness. It’s not so that elementals can actually receive teachings and grasp them – they do not have the faculties for that – but they experience certain things. For example, when they interact with humans they can experience and then copy what human beings are doing or even learn to copy some of the thought processes or take on certain feelings from humans. But it’s not at a theoretical, mental level; it’s all by experiencing.

Energetic records or traces of Atlantis

Question: There is a landmark called the Eye of Africa on the west coast of Africa. It is said that this is the remains of the capital of Atlantis. Does this hold any truth or is Atlantis really lost under the sea?

It has no truth at the physical level but there are of course areas where there could still be certain energetic records or traces of Atlantis focused in a particular physical location. This doesn’t actually apply to the Eye of Africa but it does apply to, for example, the temple at Luxor, where some people brought a flame from the temple in Atlantis. There are certain other locations where this applies.

Has Helena Blavatsky ascended?

Question: Has Helena Blavatsky ascended?

Problems with visualization

Question: What advice would the masters give to someone who has major problems with visualization? How can I overcome blockages to improve my ability to imagine what is necessary to perform the “Attunement to the Christ Within” exercise?

Some people are more visual and some are more attuned to words, more auditory. So if you are a more auditory person, be careful not to force yourself and think you have to be able to, so to speak, see with your inner eye. Some students have become fixated on the idea that they should almost be able to see a movie inside their heads but that’s not really what it means to visualize.

If you are a very visual person, you might be able to see images as if they are inside your head. The more auditory person does not have to actually see it but just sense it. It’s not seeing your Christ self, for example, that attunes you to it; it’s sensing it at a deeper level, a more intuitive level. The visualization should just be a help to tune in, so if it becomes a hindrance to your tuning in then either don’t do it or do something else so you’re not focusing on making it visual.

Invoking light and a sensation of pain in the body

Question: Is it common to experience several types of pain in the body after invoking light through invocations and decrees?

Not necessarily common but certainly not uncommon. There are people who can experience this at least for a period of time and it is again because there is no real separation between the physical body and the emotional/mental body, for example. They are connected in a whole. When you start giving decrees and invocations, you are invoking light into your, say, emotional body and when that stirs up whatever misqualified energy is there, it can have an effect on the physical body that you can feel as pain.

There can also be various imbalances in the physical body that for a time are exaggerated because of the upheaval in the emotional body when, for example, there are entities in the process of being extricated but not fully removed or when there is energy that hasn’t been fully transmuted. So there is of course, a connection between the four lower bodies and that’s why the effects in the three higher bodies can come into the physical and give you a sensation of pain or even certain medical symptoms.

Feeling responsible for other people

Question: What is the spiritual purpose behind feeling myself responsible for other people and situations? How do I get free of it?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2018.

It depends on which viewpoint you take. You could say that from a certain perspective there is no spiritual purpose in feeling responsible for other people. Given what we have taught you on free will, you are not responsible for the choices of other people. On the other hand, as you gain more and more Oneness, you desire to raise the whole. But this really doesn’t mean that you feel responsible in the way that concept is normally used.

It is more often so that this sense of being responsible for others comes from a separate self that was created in the past based on some trauma and you simply follow the process that we have given to overcome that separate self, heal the birth trauma and move on. But you also need to take the teaching we have given, even in this conference, on free will and realize that you are not responsible for the choices of other people. You are only responsible for your own choices.

The physical and the spiritual ascension

Question: Could the masters explain what is physical ascension and what is spiritual ascension?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2018.

Well my beloved, it’s not something that most of you need to be very concerned about because it becomes something of an obscure distinction. If you take my own situation, we have explained that after my mission in Palestine, I did go through what we have called a physical ascension, in the sense that my body was raised to a higher vibration, as we have explained in previous dispensations and therefore I did not have to take embodiment again. Yet I came back, as was also explained in previous dispensations and lived in Kashmir until the age of 81. Then I went through another ascension process, which was what we in the past chose to call the physical ascension and the spiritual ascension but these are just words to distinguish that there was a certain process. Now in the My Lives book, of course, we talk about my body being cremated and so you could do with that whatever you want.

The fact is there comes a point where a person leaves the physical body behind and the body dies and is cremated, buried – whatever. Then it may be that the person has to go through some inner work before it is ready to ascend. There have been a few instances where people have made what we have called a physical ascension, in the sense that the molecules of their body have been raised in vibration to a higher realm so that the body was no longer there. But these are very, very few and it is not something we are concerned about having our students demonstrate. The fact is that we want you to demonstrate that it is possible to ascend and what happens to the body is really immaterial in that process. Most people, who will be ascending in, say the next century, will not be ascending by raising the body up. The body will die and decay and the soul or the being will ascend.

Again, you can approach this in various ways. I realize there is some confusion if you look at previous ascended master teachings because there can be some discrepancies. The I AM Movement portrayed it as much easier to attain a physical ascension. In the Summit it was said that this was a very rare occurrence. It’s one of those things where, if you use the linear mind, you will end up getting yourself confused and you will say there was a contradiction between this movement and that. So what I’m saying is basically this: Focus on the psychological aspects of qualifying for your ascension and don’t even be concerned about what happens to the physical body. It’s not important for your ascension whether you shed your body or whether it is raised up; it makes no difference once you have ascended.

Progressive revelation is not always given in a linear way

Question: What is the difference between the course to Christhood and the path to the mastery of the seven rays? The course to Christhood was given first, so it would seem that from the perspective of progressive revelation the course to Christhood should be studied first by new students. Is this so?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2018.

No my beloved, it isn’t so. As we have explained, there are 144 levels of consciousness. The path to self-mastery is given to take you from the 48th to the 96th level. Therefore for new students we recommend that they start with this unless they have a strong intuitive sense that they should start with the Christhood course. I gave the Christhood course because there were a certain number of people who were ready for it but most people are not ready for it and would benefit from going through the seven-ray course first. When you reach the 96th level, you start with what we would call the Christhood initiations and that is when you can benefit from the Christhood course.

Progressive revelation doesn’t necessarily mean that it is always a linear way, that the lowest teaching is given first or that a teaching for new students is given first. It is a much more complex equation that we operate with. You will also see (in a sense) that I started out with this messenger giving teachings on myself and Christhood and Christ consciousness and Christianity because I was aiming in the beginning at reaching out to Christians. So an outcome of this effort was the Christhood course. Then we later broadened it to reach a much broader segment of people and that is when we came up with the course on the mastery of the seven rays.

Reaching a higher level of awareness means that you are in a more neutral state of mind

Question: Does a higher level of awareness always mean more sense of bliss and happiness?

But my beloved, what do you mean when you say bliss and happiness? A higher level of awareness does not lead to the kind of happiness that you see in Hollywood movies nor the kind of bliss that many Buddhists, for example, dream about. They have a worldly image that they are projecting on these concepts.

Some people have had enough of a context of a kundalini rising and they have explained it this way. You have other people who have had dramatic spiritual experiences where they have felt they are in a state of ecstasy. You have certain Christian mystics, for example, who said they were in a state of ecstasy for a long time.

But how can you function in your normal daily life in such a state? The answer is you can’t. You are here not to be in a state of ecstasy because, as we have said earlier, you can experience that when you are in the ascended realm.

That is not what the Earth is all about. It’s about having the experiences that you can have on this planet. When you reach a higher level of awareness, you actually become more and more neutral in your mind. This is actually what the Buddha called bliss but which very few Buddhists have understood. They thought it was more like human happiness.

The reality is that human happiness is a relative state of mind that is dualistic. It has a polar opposite, unhappiness and it can exist only in relation to its polar opposite. You are happy in contrast to how you feel when you are unhappy; this is a dualistic state of mind. As you raise your awareness, you go beyond the dualistic extremes and you do attain a much higher sense of being at peace and being happy or blissful but it is not in the human sense because there is no contrast.

The higher you go in awareness, the less contrast you experience in your consciousness. Therefore you are not experiencing human happiness that has an opposite or that needs to be compared to something. You are experiencing a state of mind that really can’t be described with words; that really can’t be compared to anything in the human experience.

That is why originally the Buddha used the word bliss because at that time it didn’t really have any meaning. It was a new word. We could invent a new word to describe it now but it would be just a matter of time before people started projecting human images upon it. So it is better to give the teaching and say that you overcome these dualistic extremes. There is no contrast between your state of mind and an opposite. You are in a more neutral, more even, more balanced, state of mind.

That’s what the Buddha meant with the Middle Way. It’s not the midway between two extremes. It transcends the whole scale on which there are extremes.

Question about kundalini

Question: What practical advice can the masters give to people going through a severe process of kundalini purification? For many people the process creates much suffering. What can they do to make the process easier and more balanced?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2018.

My beloved, since you are asking the ascended masters, I will simply ask you to look at how much we say about kundalini in our teachings. So the obvious answer is to use the teachings we have given because they will allow you to purify yourself and to raise your consciousness. There are teachings on kundalini that have a certain validity or that actually had more validity in previous ages but many of the teachings that are given in an eastern context are given primarily for people in the east and they are not safe to use for people in the west.

They are not safe for many people in the east either because some of these teachings are aimed at producing results that are dramatic but often have the effect that it becomes too much for people. So since you are asking me then I would say ignore the teachings on kundalini; use our teachings instead. There are decrees that I have given, invocations that I have given, for raising up the light through the chakras, purifying the chakras and these are designed to be safe for today’s people in the western world and of course in other parts of the world as well.

Chris consciousness today is a matter of living a constructive life in a daily situation

Question: One aspect of the Christ Jesus consciousness were wonders like turning water into wine and walking on water. Why does no one do this today? Isn’t this an important aspect of Christ consciousness, the power of mind over matter?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2018.

I have said before that because the collective consciousness was more dense two thousand years ago, it was necessary to perform what you call miraculous feats in order to get people’s attention. In today’s age the consciousness is higher and therefore this is no longer necessary. We of the ascended masters are not really sponsoring this kind of display because it is often misunderstood. It often leads to an idolatry of the person who might be able to perform it and it often leads the person to go into a sense of superiority or whatever. You also have black magicians who have a certain mastery of mind over matter – as you might call it – but they use it for selfish purposes.

So today we are looking for a whole different approach, where it isn’t so much a matter of performing some miraculous feat. It’s more, in fact, a matter of manifesting the miraculous feat of living a constructive life in your daily situation. We’re not looking for people to do this out-of-the-ordinary thing but something that is seemingly ordinary but doing it with a non-ordinary level of awareness. We have no desire in today’s age to set up one person who can perform these miracles because that person would be idolatrized and it would have the opposite effect of what we want, which is to encourage many, many people to attain and express their Christhood. That is why we are very much concerned about people who have idolatry of spiritual teachers and how unhealthy it is.

Energy follows attention

Question: What does it mean to say energy flows where attention goes?

Well, contrary to what science tells you, my beloved, your senses are not just passive receiving devices. When you look at something there are, of course, light rays from that object coming into your retina, hitting your retina but there is also energy directed out through your vision. Not through the physical eyes because it’s not a physical energy but there is psychic energy, as we might call it – emotional-, mental-, identity-level energy. This goes for anything you put your attention upon. That is why I have in previous dispensations said – in fact, in the alchemy books – that man is a slave of his attention because where his attention goes, there go his energies and man can only follow.

So there is indeed a reality that anything you put your attention upon you will give energy. That’s why we have said that if a group of people get together, for example, in a religious movement, they will create a collective entity, a collective beast over time and it can eventually grow so powerful that it overpowers the minds of the individuals. That’s why you have addictions.

People who have been drinking alcohol for thousands of years have created this collective alcohol entity that is so strong that it can overpower the minds of many individuals. With any field, any human endeavor, there will be a tendency to do this and it is done through your attention. It’s obviously not physical – it’s in the emotional, mental, and identity realms – but it’s a very valid teaching. It is of course important for you to be aware of it and if you feel that you are or have been influenced or people you know are influenced, by such entities, you can certainly make the calls for the people to be cut free and for the entities to be bound and consumed.

Making the calls during the day

Question: If I don’t have enough time to make invocations every day and I want, during the day, to make short calls about personal and worldly issues, how do I do it? Which words can I use?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2018.

We give the invocations and decrees as a guideline, as a help and they focus on a certain number of topics. You can at any point, if you have just a few seconds or a few minutes, make your own calls. You just simply invoke a master, like we often say, “In the name of the I Am that I Am Jesus Christ.” This is a way to say that you are willing to align your calls with the vision of Christ. Or you can say, “In the name of Christ” or “According to the vision of Christ, I call for…” and then you just make up the words yourself, depending on what the topic is you’re calling for.

If there’s a particular situation you hear on the news, you can make the calls for the judgment of Christ in that situation, for the vision of Christ, for a higher vision, for a binding of fallen beings, demons, discarnates that are influencing the situation. You can call for light to be directed into the situation, to transmute what blocks people from seeing a higher solution or to transmute the energies that are burdening people in the situation.

There’s an almost unlimited potential for doing this. Of course you need to be aware that there’s always the tendency that when you start doing something, you can become almost obsessive-compulsive about it and make it more and more elaborate and more and more complicated. We all have a tendency when we are in embodiment to do this, to complicate things and make them more and more elaborate because we want to do so well. But be realistic. Look at the time you have and then make some short, concise calls and they will have an effect.

The teachings on precipitation

Question: This question is to Saint Germain about the book Alchemy. In this book he gave profound and very detailed teachings on precipitation. To what degree are those methods valid, and what should we study now to go further on this topic?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2018.

Well my beloved, again you need to look at progressive revelation and see that, due to a very complex equation of the collective consciousness and so forth, there was a limit to what I could bring forth at the time. The teachings are valid enough but in all reality there are very few people who have been able to really implement them. Naturally we have now tried to build up a much stronger foundation for giving other teachings on this topic. What should you study in order to go further? Well obviously, use the book that I’m planning to release for next year’s cycle which will be partly about precipitation.

You should of course also study the teachings we have given on the birth trauma, the separate selves because – regardless of the teaching that I gave earlier being valid – if you have too many separate selves, this will block your ability to precipitate. Of course you can also go back and say, “What’s the value of precipitating a Maltese cross out of amethyst?” There is a value in terms of the process but I will have an entirely different focus for my upcoming book.

The correlation between ascended master teachings and the teachings of Freud, Jung or other psychologists

Question: Is there any correlation between the selves we are studying and the psychic structure model of Sigmund Freud’s id, ego and superego?

Well my beloved, we have told you several times that even the teachings we give cannot, when they are expressed in words, be the full truths about every topic because there’s difficulty in translating ideas from the ascended realm into words.

Of course, it’s the same thing when you’re talking about conditions in the physical realm, in the material world. It is always difficult to translate this into words, especially a topic like the psyche. Therefore there are many different models of the psyche that can all have some validity and you can certainly come up with correlations between ascended master teachings and the teachings of Freud, Jung and other psychologists.

Some of the newer forms of psychology are much more in alignment with ascended master teachings but this will have to be explained by someone who has experience in that field and who has been trained, has studied the field and is open to ascended master teachings. This person would need to know the vocabulary that is used, the concepts that are used in that particular field, in order to come up with the correlations. Naturally this messenger could do it by studying Freudian psychology but this just isn’t a priority for what we want him to do.

So again, if there were some ascended master students who had experience with this kind of psychology or another kind of psychology, they could certainly study the teachings and then come up with some correlations. Depending on their openness they could even get directions directly from us.

Music and inspiration from the ascended masters

Question: There is a Korean boy band called Bangtan Boys or BTS, which is famous worldwide, mostly appealing to young girls, aged ten to twenty. They perform inspirational songs, with the goal of preventing social prejudice and pressure for young people and they mostly get a positive response from young people. The question for the masters is this: Does the BTS group and their music get some inspiration from the ascended realm or the ascended masters? How do the masters see the BTS music and the people’s response to it?

There has, especially in previous ascended master dispensations, been a lot of discussion or focus on whether we sponsor some particular activity or organization or whatever. Although this isn’t directly asked in the question, I will address that also.

The idea that we sponsor something has often been misunderstood by ascended master students. They think that if we say, for example, we sponsor an organization then that sponsorship should last forever or we approve of everything that is happening. But that isn’t the case unless we have a specific situation, where a specific master is saying, “I am sponsoring that organization.” Of course that still doesn’t mean that El Morya, for example, approved of everything that was going on in the past dispensation and that’s why the sponsorship eventually came to an end.

In terms of something like a music band, it is clear, my beloved, that music is not going to go away and certainly young people are not going to stop being interested in music. So we of the ascended masters are very interested in using music to have a positive effect on young people but we are not sponsoring a particular band. It is not so that you could take a particular band and say: “Oh, their music is inspired fully by the ascended masters or is somehow given by the ascended masters.”

What we do is release energies and ideas in a more general way than what you are used to when we give a dictation. In a dictation it is a much more specific, much more directed release from us. In a more general release we are constantly just releasing new ideas and certain energies and we are not releasing them to a specific group of people. We are simply allowing anyone who is able to tune in to – so to speak, download, (using a computer expression) – the ideas.

This particular band has received some inspiration like that and so have other bands. From what was said in previous ascended master organizations, one would say that the ascended masters could not approve of the type of music of some bands but as I said, we have to be realistic and look at what kind of music young people are currently listening to. If we could find a way to inject some kind of higher ideas there, some kind of inspiration, we would be willing to do so.

Do you see what I am saying? When you have a messenger who has received a mantle, when you have an organization that is directly sponsored by an ascended master, certainly there are some strict requirements that need to be fulfilled. But when it comes to this general inspiration, we do not have the same kind of requirements. We are willing to work with anyone who has the sensitivity and the openness of mind to receive something from us. We know that in many cases this might mean, for example, a band will write one song that has a positive, uplifting effect but they might write three other songs that don’t. We are still willing to put out the one that can be uplifting because it has a positive effect on some people.

The same goes for many other areas of society. There can be a politician who receives one idea from us. He may have ten other beliefs or ideas that are not in alignment with ascended master ideals but nevertheless we have to work with what is there and seek to improve something. You have to realize that if you look back at Earth – say, the last two thousand years – there has been tremendous progress. That progress has not been brought about by people who were in the Christ consciousness. If we had sat there and said, “We will not release any new ideas until we have enough people in the Christ consciousness to receive them,” then the world would still be in a much more primitive state. So we have to start somewhere. We have to work with people who will be able to receive even one idea in a lifetime. We cannot be discouraged or dissuaded by the fact that they might receive ideas from the astral plane also and what they bring forth is a mixture. If there is nobody else to bring forth that idea, we release it because the idea will have a positive effect.

The same thing with music – you have to start somewhere. We cannot say that we are not willing to work with musicians until they have reached a certain level of perfection. We need to look at what’s there: Is there someone we can work with? Then we do that and that has a positive effect. It shifts what young people can see or experience and gradually people will begin to demand a higher form of music than was there before. It doesn’t happen all at once. It just simply can’t, given the level of consciousness right now.

Who are the people who ascend from earth?

Question: There is a requirement that each year at least one person needs to ascend from Earth. Who are those people and how have they gotten their ascension?

There can be people from many different areas of life, many different nations; many different cultural, ethnic or racial backgrounds. It is not so my beloved that you can look at Earth and say: “Here is one particular country or region or place where people are more advanced than others.” You will find that there are advanced souls all around the planet. So it is just a matter of when a certain soul has reached the level where it is ready to ascend. That particular person might choose to fulfill the requirement of one soul ascending per year.

It isn’t something that we are particularly concerned about anymore because it is not difficult to fulfill the requirement. You do not need to know specifically who they are or where they come from. There has been some speculation about this in previous ascended master organizations where people have been very curious, thinking it had to be someone from their organization but we are not really encouraging that kind of speculation.

Can sex during pregnancy have a negative effect on the baby?

Question: Is it true that having sex during pregnancy could have negative effects on the baby’s soul or its psyche while in the mother’s womb?

Well, it can have an effect on the child but only in extreme cases will it be a negative effect. That would be if there is a very inharmonious interaction between the father and the mother. In most cases it would have to come from the father because the baby, of course, is in the mother’s body and therefore is already affected by the mother’s energy field. But if the father has a very negative, aggressive energy field, it can certainly affect the child.

Of course, sexual intercourse means there is more of an exchange of energy than there normally is but it is not something that most people need to worry about. That would only be so if there are more extreme circumstances.

Hearing voices

Question: I hear voices on a regular basis. They feel not clearly evil but they feel invasive. They mostly comment on my life and my mind. I would like to know what they are and if their presence is beneficial and if I should get rid of them and how?

You already know that their presence is not beneficial or you would not have asked the question. Clearly anything that feels invasive is not beneficial to your mind. It is not beneficial to the exercise of your free will regardless of how unfree it might be.

These voices can in some cases come from separate selves but in most cases they come from beings outside of your four lower bodies. This can be disincarnate souls, in other words people who have died and their souls could not move on into the light or even move into the emotional realm but are trying to stay with the physical and therefore looking for a vehicle to express themselves through. It can also be entities, demons in the emotional realm or the mental realm or even in the lower identity realm. It can also be fallen beings although they would probably be more aggressive and more evil; more easy to see as being evil.

So you will have various degrees of people who hear voices, some that are more aggressive and more destructive and some that are more subtle. Therefore it is more difficult to judge whether they are beneficial or not but any time you feel something is invasive, it’s clearly not beneficial to your growth.

Now you can always debate or talk about what do you mean when you hear voices? Do you hear it physically or does it at least seem it is a physical voice you hear even if the physical voice is inside your head? Or is it more subtle, at the level of thoughts, at the level of feelings where it isn’t something you would experience as a physical voice? So the more physical it is the more invasive it is but it’s still invasive. You have a right to have your four lower bodies be your domain that is not influenced by any outside force. Therefore you need to make a decision that you do not want this.

Too many times my beloved, people are not making that decision and it is sometimes because they have a certain psychological issue that causes them to invite certain spirits into their force field because somehow you think you will gain some advantage for this. Even sometimes not feeling alone or even the sense of being important or having some kind of direction that you could hear or not wanting to make decisions. It can be many different things but people can invite these in and that is when it can be difficult to evaluate, are they beneficial or not.

The reality is they are never beneficial but in order to get rid of them, you of course need to look at why did you invite them in? And it is always a separate self that causes you to invite them in. So you need to expose that separate self and use the tools we have given for that purpose.

Now when it comes to what you should do on a short term basis, you need to invoke spiritual protection – calls to Archangel Michael, the rosary to Archangel Michael, calls to Astrea to cut you free even Violet Flame to set you free from the energies that might be attracting them. You can also use many of the invocations and rosaries we have given over the years that are applicable to your particular situation. If for example, these voices give you a certain sense that you feel loved then you might have a problem loving yourself and you could then use the invocation for loving yourself, the invocation for self-esteem and so forth and so on, depending on what your individual psychology is that have caused you to be susceptible to these voices.

You could say that if you are hearing voices it’s because there’s something in your four lower bodies, specifically the three higher bodies that are making you vulnerable. There are plenty of entities and demons and beings that are constantly projecting at human beings. You could say that all human beings are being exposed to a certain amount of projections.

So why is it that most people are not hearing voices? Well it’s because they don’t have that specific vulnerability that enables these entities to enter their force fields. So you need to make that decision that you will not allow this, you need to make the calls for protection and then you need to on a more long term basis uncover what was it that caused you to be vulnerable to invite them in and overcome those separate selves.

Spiritual organisations and collective spirits

Question: Can you please comment on such things as egregore, which is a concept representing a thought form or thoughts influencing a group of people. How is it creating spiritual organizations, effects while praying, is it useful and harmful and do we create some egregore as well doing the rosaries?

What we can say as a general idea is that any time people come together and put their attention on the same thing they will start to create an entity or a spirit because they’re directing energy into a certain matrix and they are endowing it with a certain state of consciousness. It is as you have correctly intuited; the creation of a spirit. Just as you can create this individually, people can of course create it collectively.

Now the question is whether this is necessarily a good thing or not a good thing, well that depends on how the people create it. What is their level of consciousness, what is their vision, their purpose? You will see that throughout history you have of course many, many examples of how people have created these very powerful collective spirits. The Soviet Union had a very powerful collective spirit that could overpower individuals. Nazi Germany had a similar spirit and in a sense you could say that the Second World War was beyond the physical fight, it was at the energetic level, a fight between these collective spirits and it was just a matter of one spirit running out of energy and that nation lost and another nation won.

Of course you can also look at some positive examples, in the sense that if people come together around a positive purpose they create a spirit that has a certain momentum that then makes it easier for people to attain a certain goal or even can make it easier for individuals to attain something. For example you can have the organization such as Alcoholics Anonymous that has made it easier for people to overcome or at least subdue the alcohol addiction because other people have done it before them.

Of course you will also see that in a spiritual organization even an ascended master organization, there is a certain collective spirit that is created. It can have beneficial effects – for example in a previous ascended master organization where they gave many, many hours of decrees, they had created what they called a very powerful decree momentum but this was of course also a collective spirit. Now you could say this wasn’t a destructive spirit but you can still see that even in a spiritual movement once you create a collective spirit it sets the movement, the organization on a certain track and it will have certain effects.

One is that it can overpower the minds of individuals and cause more people to conform to the organizational culture. Master More for example said in Kazakhstan about a previous ascended master organization that they had developed a very judgemental culture and this was a collective spirit that could then overpower the minds of individuals. Another effect of such a collective spirit is that it will actually prevent some people from coming into the organization. Many people who are more heart based, non-judgemental people could sense this collective spirit of judgement and didn’t want to enter the organization for that reason. Others took the stand that this messenger took, that he sensed the spirit but he also knew that the light was being released through the dictations and therefore he decided to be there anyway.

So it is certainly something to be aware of. Now we have not created a fixed organization and one of the purposes is that we want to avoid this. We would like a sufficient number of students of this dispensation to reach a certain level of being free of the birth trauma and the internal spirits to where you can create more of a sense of community without creating a collective spirit that has a certain colouring or that might start trying to force people into conformity with a certain vision and matrix.

We would like to see the formation of a spiritual community where people are free and where they don’t create a collective spirit that is limiting but can create something that is a more positive momentum. It is of course even a higher goal to have a spiritual organization without creating a collective entity, a collective spirit because it isn’t absolutely necessary but it requires you to be free enough in your minds where you can avoid this.

Sense of connection to I AM Presence and separate selves

Question: What are the ways my separate self is preventing me from accepting and receiving the love from my I AM Presence?

There is no one answer to this question because it depends on what separate self you’re talking about. There are many different separate selves and they all have different ways of doing this but we could say that the commonality is of course that they warp your sense of identity in some way so you either cannot experience the connection to your I AM Presence or you cannot, for example, accept that you are worthy to receive love. This is what you need to look at and we have given you many tools and teachings that can help you get a feel for this.

You basically need to look at, as Jesus gave the concept of your spiritual modus operandi, how do you look at your I AM Presence? How do you look at yourself in relation to your I AM Presence? And then you can get some sense for what selves you have that are warping your connection to your I AM Presence. Warping your view of that connection and maybe making you feel, as I said, you are not worthy, you are not good enough, you need to reach a certain state before you are worthy to receive something which are some very common ways that people’s separate selves are interfering.

The maximum growth happens when you are not resisting it, you’re not trying to force it, you are allowing it to unfold

Question: How can one understand if he or she is making progress or just staying in the comfort zone thinking one has achieved peace and making steady progress?

Well my beloved this is one of the challenges of the spiritual path. You have of course a certain group of spiritual people in the world who have not locked into the reality of the spiritual path which is that it is ongoing, it is constant ongoing self-transcendence. You will continue to transcend yourself as long as you are in embodiment on Earth because the ascension is the final act of self-transcendence possible on Earth.

When you have ascended you do not stop transcending yourself, you are just transcending yourself at the level of the ascended realm. So there are many, many spiritual people on earth who think that the goal of the spiritual path is to reach some ultimate state here on earth, whether they call it enlightenment or nirvana or something else. Therefore they are seeking to attain that and some people over the years, the centuries have of course come to believe they have attained some state and therefore they don’t need to strive anymore. Basically you could say that anytime you have the sense that you don’t need to transcend yourself, you don’t need to grow anymore then you have stagnated.

Now of course you can take this and compare it to the teachings we have given you at this conference where we are seeking to help you be at peace with being on Earth. We have said that you need to come to a point where there’s nothing you feel you have to do here on Earth but this actually doesn’t mean that you are no longer growing.

When you attain inner peace because you have made peace with the fact that you are being on Earth, you also attain inner peace with the fact that you are at a certain stage of the spiritual path. This doesn’t mean that you are not striving to grow from there so you can reach the 144th level but it does mean that you don’t feel a compulsion to grow as you might do at lower levels of the path. It is not so my beloved that for the entire time up to the 144th level you are not going to be at peace and you’re going to feel like you’re behind and you’re not doing enough.

There comes a point and I don’t even want to put a number on what that level is because it can be individual, where you have made peace with being on earth, you have made peace with being at your present level of consciousness, you are not feeling dissatisfied or unhappy, you’re not feeling you’re behind but on the other hand you are still very much open to the fact that you could come to see new separate selves that need to be let die, you could come to gain new insights, you can get new experiences. There are things you want to accomplish, want to experience but you are not doing it from the state of compulsion – you are, as we have said, doing it from the state of your cup is overflowing and there’s a joy in feeling it overflow.

So basically you could say that if you feel comfortable, you are not growing enough. If you feel truly at peace it’s a different matter because peace is a dynamic state, it is not a static state. It doesn’t mean you have stopped growing or think that you don’t have to grow anymore. It just means that you are at peace with being where you are at and knowing that you will continue to grow further.

You are not behind, you are where you should be but not forever, just at this stage you are where you should be and you know that there will come a next stage and it might happen tomorrow, it might happen a year from now but you know that it will happen. You’re not resisting it but you’re not frantically seeking to force it to happen either, you are flowing with the river of life, as we have said and just basically watching it unfold.

There is a certain stage where you think you have to do but there is a higher state where you’re not doing and this doesn’t mean you are passive but you are allowing things, you are allowing life to unfold. You are not resisting it, you’re not trying to force it into a specific matrix, you are allowing it to unfold and this is actually maximum growth.

You cannot know this with the outer analytical mind. You cannot setup a list of criteria but you can come to sense it in yourself if you are honest and willing to look at yourself and evaluate whether you’re in the one extreme of being comfortable or in the other extreme of being too compulsive. You can strive for that middle way where you just experience the growth without having to force it or resist it.

The educational system needs to be constantly adjusted and adapted as the consciousness is raised

Question: Mother Mary, are there incarnated messengers of the ascended masters in education now as was Maria Montessori? In which countries can we see examples of new education?

Well again it depends on how you define messengers. If you define it in the strict sense that you are taking a dictation then that’s a very narrow definition of messengers. The more broad definition is that anybody who is able to tune into the ascended masters and receive an idea is in a sense a messenger. If you use that definition then there are certainly messengers in the field of education as there are messengers in every field.

They are found in a variety of different countries; the United States is certainly one country where there are some people who have brought forth new ideas, Canada as well but there are of course other countries where they have brought forth educational methods specific for a certain culture or country.

You have to recognize again that we are not seeking to bring forth one absolute educational system that should be applied in all nations of earth. We recognize that there are different groups of people, they have different backgrounds and therefore they need different educational systems. So we have messengers, so to speak, for particular cultures and countries. So it isn’t a matter of me saying that this particular educational method is the highest one and therefore all should apply that. It’s a matter of you tuning into what do you feel applies to your nation, your culture, your group of people that they need that they can apply that will take them to the next step.

Many of the educational methods are not meant to be some final absolute method that will endure for a thousand years. Many of the methods that are being released and this goes for education as for any other field, are interim stages that are meant to take humankind from the level they’re at now to the next level up. Then they will be ready for a higher approach and so on and so forth. Not even into the Golden Age but throughout the Golden Age. As Saint Germain has said, the Golden Age is not something that will happen all at once or that means that once the Golden Age is there progress stops. It is a process that will continue for the next 2,000 years, so education as with any field, will continue to evolve and new methods will need to be brought forth and old methods will need to be constantly adjusted and adapted as the consciousness is raised.

You recognize here that the real goal is to raise the collective consciousness and when the consciousness is raised to a certain level then either a new method needs to be applied or the old method needs to be adjusted based on the higher level of consciousness.
