The psychology of Helena Blavatsky

Question: The masters have said that Helena Blavatsky has not ascended. In the Summit Lighthouse it was said that she had reincarnated as Francis E. Key, as King Henry II and Henry VIII, as well as the apostle Peter. Are these true? Where is the lifestream of Helena Blavatsky now?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 New Year Webinar.

Well, the lifestream is still not ascended. That is all I really want to say about it right now. It is necessary to look at the issue of past lifetimes with some discernment. There was a reason why, during the I AM movement, or even Theosophy, or the Summit Lighthouse, that there was talk about this or that person had been this or that famous historical person. We have said before that this is because famous historical persons represent a kind of psychological archetype, and therefore, there are people who have a similar psychology as, for example, Henry VIII. It does not mean that they were Henry VIII, because I can assure you there is more than one person in embodiment today who has a similar psychology to Henry VIII or Peter. They could not all have been incarnated as Henry VIII, could they? But they can still receive some benefit from thinking they were Henry VIII if that makes them willing to look at the psychology and resolve it. To be very direct with you, some of the past lifetimes that were mentioned during the Summit Lighthouse dispensation were not correct. They were not literally true. It is not really correct to say that the lifestream that incarnated as Blavatsky was also incarnated as Peter. But it is correct to say that Blavatsky still was in the Peter consciousness, and therefore, thought that she could determine in her mind what Christ should be like, just as Peter thought that Jesus should not go to Jerusalem and be arrested and tortured by the authorities.

You can even see this in her writings, her attitude to Jesus, her attitude to Lucifer, that she still thought she knew better. Now, you may ask yourself, why would Ascended Masters, Kuthumi and El Morya, use her? Why would some ascended masters use her? Well, because sometimes we give people an opportunity. You see, being a messenger in some capacity is not, as some people think, some kind of honor or result of your high spiritual attainment. It is also an opportunity for you to overcome your psychology, because in order to be the open door, you have to overcome the psychology. And Blavatsky did not overcome her psychology, which is why there came a point where no more teachings could be given through her. And other messengers have also not overcome their psychology, which is why progressive revelation had to stop through them. It is much more important to look at this from a psychological perspective than with a linear mind, wanting everything to be literally true.

I know very well that there are many people, many ascended master students, who still have this attachment to what was said in a previous dispensation being literally true. You see, for example, how some people reacted to the book about My lives and there is probably nothing I could say that would change these people’s minds. But the reality is that you need to step up to looking at everything from a psychological perspective. What helps you transcend your unresolved psychology and what keeps you trapped in it? And a linear mindset of being attached to a literal interpretation of a previous teaching will not help you transcend your psychology. There are people who are fundamentalist ascended master students, having the same psychology as fundamentalist Christians, or the scribes and Pharisees who rejected Jesus. This will not lead to growth. And quite frankly, in the next 12 years of this accelerated cycle, ascended master students with this literal fundamentalist attitude will be exposed to enormous stress. They will find it more and more difficult to hold on to their literal interpretation of the scriptures, so to speak. They will feel the internal pressure because they are not resolving their psychology. And therefore, they might experience severe psychological problems, or they might have to leave the teachings, leave the path, and find various excuses for doing so.

You can see how easily some people have found excuses for rejecting this messenger and the progressive revelation we are giving through him. Even though, if you look at it, there has never been a teaching that goes so deeply into the psychology. If you are really committed to making progress towards your ascension, there is no better teaching available right now in terms of helping you resolve psychology. And if you have not realized that that is the determining factor for not only your ability to live on earth, or your ability to ascend, then you will find it very difficult to adjust to the increase of Christ light over the next 12 years, because you will be rejecting the Christ light that calls you to accelerate.

Finland’s Future

Question: What might be in store for the near future of Finland? The situation in Russia and Ukraine caused a major shift in the Finnish people’s psyche. But it seems Finland is also falling dangerously into the downward spiral of debt like so many other countries. The government is slowly but steadily cutting off benefits and protection of the lower class, as well as making it intentionally hard for small businesses or culture to flourish. This is a general trend all around, but is Finland in an upward or downward spiral? Is Finland’s democracy and it being a welfare state actually undermined? And what is the state of the Finnish people’s consciousness regarding this and the awakening to the golden age?

Well, from my view, Finland is still in an upward spiral, as are most of the countries in Europe. There are, of course, problems with the economy and running out debt. But this is something that is not unique to Finland, and it is something that at some point will reach a point where countries will simply have to recognize that this is unsustainable and they will have to annul the debt. There will have to be a collective decision to zero out the debt and start over. It is the only realistic scenario. It is just a matter of how long is it going to take before this realization breaks through.

Naturally, all of the countries in Europe would have preferred to continue the pre-war situation where they were steadily improving their countries, improving the living situation and where they were hoping that Russia was doing the same. But naturally, this has been shattered by the invasion of Ukraine. This has caused all nations in Europe to re-evaluate their approach because they have realized that if they are to prevent further military adventures by Russia, and if they are to deal with Trump and his unpredictability regarding NATO, then they have to direct more money at the military than at social programs or welfare.

Naturally, this is a shift that nobody wanted. Well, except the weapons manufacturers, maybe. But it is an unavoidable shift right now. It will not be for the long-term future because things will happen. The situation in Russia, the economy is not sustainable. But nevertheless, for the short term, it is necessary. But in the longer term, the situation will gradually dissolve itself and the nations of Europe will get back to a more positive development in society. Again, the release of light has accelerated this. And although there will be some chaos and upheaval, depending on how the situation plays out in Russia, in the long run, in the not so long run, you will get back to a positive upward spiral in terms of being able to create societies that are better and better for the people to live in.

In terms of the Finnish people, well, realistically, historically, the collective consciousness in Finland has been lower than in the other three Scandinavian countries, partly because of its eastern location between Russia and Scandinavia, but also because of the remote nature, the geography of Finland, where many people live in smaller societies removed from bigger cities. This is, of course, changing. But still, you would still say realistically that the collective consciousness in Finland is not quite as developed as in the other Scandinavian countries. This is something that is, of course, changing gradually but it will take some time for the Finnish people to catch up. There are, of course, areas of Finnish society that are quite advanced, more advanced than the other Scandinavian countries, especially education. But still, if you talk about the collective consciousness in general, it is lower, which is also why, or rather, it is lower partly because of proximity to Russia, and the influence from the collective consciousness in Russia, and the history of Finland being attacked by Russia, and so forth.

Elon Musk’s Future

Question: Elon Musk, who helped Trump win, is becoming a political force in Europe, endorsing Reform UK in Britain, and held Germany’s far-right AFD as the country’s savior. What will the Trump-Musk alliance mean for America and the world?

Well, as I have already commented on, the Trump-Musk alliance is not likely to last for the next four years. There is likely to be a big blow up where either Trump will get rid of Musk, or Musk will withdraw and say that Trump was not what he thought he was, and he is not the kind of leader he thought he was going to be. He will leave in a huff and go back to spouting off whatever he is doing on his X platform. Musk is, again, a benevolent narcissist, but he suffers from delusions of grandeur. He thinks that because he is a relatively good businessman, he can solve all of the world’s problems. No one person can solve all of the world’s problems. Certainly, he has less insight into politics and the situation of Europe than he has in the United States, although even his insight in the United States is limited.

He is taking what I have called the ideological approach. He thinks that he, in his mind, can create a mental image of how the world should work, and if he just promotes that on X, then the world is going to conform and work that way. Trump has a very similar attitude, but he has a different vision. The two mental images will inevitably clash. What is going to happen with Musk? Well, he is most likely going to reach a breakdown point where his delusions of grandeur break down and he withdraws. It is the crash and burn syndrome. There could be a milder version where he, at some level, realizes he cannot really do what he thought he could do. But instead of admitting this freely, he creates a new mental image in his mind of why the world is not advanced enough to understand his genius and his vision. And therefore, he withdraws and focuses on his business instead.

Trump’s presidency and Musk’s influence

Question: Will the ascended masters comment on the results of the U.S. election and what we can expect for the next four years of the Trump presidency with Elon Musk at his side?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 New Year Webinar.

Well, you can, for one thing, expect that Musk will not remain at Trump’s side for the next four years. You have two benevolent narcissists with big egos, and it is only a matter of time when they are going to clash and there is going to be a breakup. But as we have commented on before, the question that is the big question for the world right now, a question that has been greatly accelerated by the archangels and Elohim releasing this new light, is what kind of leaders do people want? And the immediate lesson is that we do not want narcissistic people to be leaders of democratic nations. In a little bit longer run, there needs to be, we do not want narcissistic people to be leaders in any nation because it will lead to disaster. I do not really need to comment on what is going to happen for the next four years because if you step back and look at Trump’s personality, at the promises he has made, it is easy to see that he can only go in one direction.

He can only continue acting out what he has been acting out during the campaign. He thinks he is right. He thinks he can do no wrong. And he will continue to go in the same direction. You can also look at the fact that he has made promises that are directly contradictory. You cannot improve the US economy and lower prices for the common people by imposing tariffs. You cannot deport millions of aliens without increasing the federal government and the federal budget. Therefore, there will come a point where reality begins to set in and some people in the Trump administration will realize that some hard choices have to be made because you cannot fulfill all of the promises. Many of the promises he has made will a cost tremendous amount of money. How can you possibly do that without increasing the federal budget, running up the national debt?

How can you cut $2 trillion of the federal budget and still maintain a functioning government? It just cannot be done. It is just a matter of when reality will set in. It is a matter of how much propaganda will be spread to make it seem like Trump is doing what he promised to do and hide the fact that nobody can do what Trump promised to do. It simply cannot be done. The predictable outcome of all of this will be that there will come a point where those who elected Trump will see that his promises cannot possibly be fulfilled. Now there are some that are his loyal followers who will not be willing to admit this, but those who were what is often called the swing voters who were actually instrumental in getting him elected, they will have to come to reckon with this. And the question is, what do they learn from it? Do they step back from just Trump and see that if we allow narcissists to run a democratic government, there will be contradictions. There will be things that cannot be done and therefore there will be chaos.

You can already see in the Republican Party how there is the emergence of two polarities, two factions. There will be more conflict that could tear the Republican Party apart. You can look at the fact that Trump promised to improve living conditions for ordinary Americans, yet he has nominated 10 billionaires for his cabinet. Do you really think that billionaires are so in touch with the living conditions of ordinary Americans that they are going to be able to improve those living conditions? Because why is it that ordinary Americans have seen a deterioration in their living standard? Oh yeah, it is because more and more money is being funneled upwards to the billionaires. Are the billionaires going to be willing to admit this and voluntarily stop this flow of money upwards? Hasn’t Trump promised tax cuts primarily for the rich? Well, how else are you going to stop that flow of money in the short run at least, except imposing taxes on the rich and on financial gains?

In the long run, there are other things you can do. The next four years will simply be a study in contradictions, chaos, upheaval, contradictory statements, contradictory actions. And the only real question is, will a critical mass of the American people learn the lesson they are meant to learn from the Trump presidency? Now there is, of course, another aspect of this, which is that the candidate that was running from the Democratic Party was not only a Democrat, but was a woman. This is the decade of women. It certainly would have been my preference that America had elected a female president in the decade of women, but that did not happen. What is it going to take for America to break through this opposition to have a female president? Well, it might take that the male president creates so much chaos that finally people begin to be open to the fact that perhaps a woman would take a more balanced approach to being president than the extremist polarized approach, the black and white thinking that you clearly see in Trump if you look neutrally.

Right now, those who are the core people, voters who elected Trump and many of the swing voters, they are hypnotized. They are simply in this cloud where they cannot see who Trump really is, they cannot see the contradictions in his own statements. Of course, Trump cannot see it, but there are many in his administration who cannot see it either. But there are some that can see it. The question really is, when will that fog be lifted so that people can see that America is a large and complex nation? Yes, there are problems that need to be solved, but there are no simple solutions to these problems. And there certainly are no solutions through black and white thinking or gray thinking. A higher form of discernment is needed. And will people then make use of this 12-year cycle with the increase in Christ light where they reach for that Christ discernment? Will a critical mass of Americans do this? Then it can bring positive change. You see, if I had answered this question before the release of light from the archangels, it would have been a different situation, a different equation, because perhaps Trump would have muddled through and not created any big upheaval or disasters in the next four years.

But now with the acceleration of light, it is far more likely that he will go more and more into the extremes, that he will lose contact with reality and become more and more delusional. And this makes it possible, first of all, there will be a clash with Musk. There will be a clash with other Republicans. There will be a clash with people in his own administration. The question really is, is Trump going to go beyond the edge where he is psychologically unfit to be president? Will there be those who are close to him in the administration who will see this, who will admit this, and who will take the necessary steps?” That is an open question. But whereas before it was less of a probability, the increase of light has greatly increased the probability that this could happen. It is not a given, but it certainly could happen.

And the question really is, is there anyone close enough to Trump that they can moderate him from going towards the extremes, that they can keep him somewhat tied to reality and prevent him from going deeper into this delusion that he has been in for a very long time? And this, of course, is the same question that is valid for Putin in 2025. He is not likely to pull himself out of his delusion. Are there those close to him who can moderate him, pull him out of the delusion? Or are there those who can take the necessary steps to remove him from power? You see a very similar scenario being outplayed in both Russia and the United States. For that matter, other nations as well, but let me not get too far ahead of myself.

Peaceful protests and change: Belarus, Georgia, and India

Question: I am not left wondering about the failure of peaceful protests in Belarus in 2020, when people protested en masse against election fraud, and these protests were brutally suppressed by the authorities. And now in Georgia, where there are also mass demonstrations in defense of the democratization of the country. It seems that in both countries, a fairly high percentage of the population wants change for the better. Nevertheless, people cannot achieve their goal peacefully. At the same time, the example of India, which managed to peacefully free itself from English colonization, same ruling elite, comes to mind. If it is a matter of people or society, what do Georgian and Belarusian people lack compared to representatives of India? Was the level of the collective consciousness of Indians of that time higher than that of Georgians or Belarusians today? If, of course, my comparison with India is correct, or is it all about the ruling elite, and English colonizers were less fierce and aggressive, and were ready to make concessions, unlike, for example, Lukashenko? Can only violence on the part of the Belarusian or Georgian society lead to any changes for the better?

Well, you raise several interesting questions here that cannot be answered fully in a short answer. But what I will say is that there was clearly a difference in the collective consciousness between India during the time of the English colonization and countries like Georgia and Belarus today. And the primary difference was the influence of religion or spirituality in Indian society. You have both a Hindu spiritual tradition and you have a Buddhist spiritual tradition that have influenced India and therefore created in the Indian collective consciousness some awareness of the need to be non-violent. We can say that there was a greater awareness of non-violence in the Indian collective consciousness. There were more people who were willing to change and who were willing to wait for society to change in a non-violent way instead of taking up arms.

You could say that Gandhi, who became the exponent of the non-violent approach, he could arise in India because of the collective consciousness and their commitment to non-violence. Gandhi would have had little chance in Belarus or Georgia or Russia or China. He would have simply been killed or imprisoned by the authorities. He might have shared a cell with Navalny, for example.

This is one factor. But another factor is of course, that the British were not as brutal and insensitive to life as the Russian leadership had been for a very long time. And this has, again, something to do with the collective consciousness of England. You can look at England and its history and you can see that there has been tremendous brutality, tremendous insensitivity to people. But there has been a gradual change towards a more civilized humanitarian approach. However, if you are to really look at this equation, you also have to factor in Hitler, because clearly the British had a higher level of sensitivity than Hitler’s Germany. But they also had the awareness of what Hitler had done. And they were, of course, very concerned that they would not be seen as being as brutal and inhumane as Hitler. And therefore, there was more of an openness to not clamp down with outright brutality on Gandhi’s movement.

And of course, you do not see that in Putin’s Russia, in Lukashenko, and in several other nations, Iran, North Korea, China, etc., etc., etc. The British government at the time of India was clearly a more democratic form of government than Lukashenko’s government in Belarus or Putin’s government in Russia. These are also factors. Now of course you can step back from this and say: “Well, why do the Russian people attract the kind of leaders they have attracted?” It is, of course, linked to the collective consciousness. The same thing in Belarus. I mean, Belarus could have gone the same way as the Baltic countries and had distanced itself from Russia and become part of NATO. Naturally, in the late 1990s, Russia could not have stopped them from doing so. As we have said, Ukraine could have done the same, but the collective consciousness was not there, and it was not there in Belarus. We can always go into why that is the case, but then we have already talked about the background of the Russian people going back to the time of Atlantis, which you can find in some of our older dictations.

The probability of a change in Russia’s ruling elite in 2025

Question: Could the ascended masters comment on the probability of a change in the ruling elite in Russia in 2025? There is a feeling that there are growing divisions in the ruling elite. There is a feeling of a struggle of the new elite for power. If this struggle leads to a change of elites, is there a chance that the new elite will act in the interest of the country, at least at first, will try to end the war as soon as possible, restore relations with the West, perhaps even take a course towards democratization of Russia? Or the elite is the elite and the new elite aspiring to power is no better than the previous elite?

Well, there is always the possibility that a change, even in the elite, will bring progress. When you are talking about a division in the elite in Russia, well, you need to have a realistic view here. If you look back to the time of Stalin, you will see that he was the typical example of a person who was paranoid about preserving his own power.

And therefore, he killed, or at least had removed, anyone in the ruling elite that he thought could be a threat to him. He even had some people killed that clearly were not a threat, but just to keep all the others from feeling secure in their positions. This means that when Stalin died, let me not comment on why, there was not really a strong leader who was ready to take over. And it is somewhat the same in Putin’s Russia, where he has also gotten rid of most of the people who could bring Russia forward in a different direction than what has been envisioned by Putin. This is not to say that there are not any, but they are not in the top of Putin’s hierarchy, certainly. There are many factors that are uncertain. Yes, there is certainly tension and upheaval among the ruling elite, because, as we have commented on before, there are people who can see the writing on the wall that if the war continues in 2025, it can lead to a crash in the Russian economy. And this could lead to a breakup of the Russian Federation.

There are those who can see that it is really a choice between preserving Russia or continuing the war. And of course, if you continue the war and the Russian economy collapses, you will still have to stop the war. Because if the economy goes into a crisis, what is going to fund the war effort? There is only so long that you can manufacture money out of thin air. The question really is, will there be the opening so that people with a progressive attitude can come to power? And it is, of course, possible. It is possible that you can have the emergence of leaders in Russia who can see that Putin’s course over the last, especially 10 years, especially over the last five years, has been destructive for Russia. And that a more constructive way forward would be that Russia becomes what we might call a normal nation that seeks to cooperate with the international community, instead of demonstrating its superiority to the international community. How likely is that? Well, it is not very likely that it will happen in 2025.

It is more likely that 2025 will be a more chaotic period in Russia. And that things actually have to get more chaotic before there is the opening for a new approach. Naturally, if there is to be a new approach, Putin has to either go out of embodiment or at least be dethroned from leadership. Because Putin has demonstrated over the past almost three years that he is not capable of changing direction, even when he is heading for the abyss. The question is really, will there be a power elite who can get rid of Putin? Will there be another power elite who can get rid of the power elite that gets rid of Putin, so that finally, there can be a change in the direction of Russia? As I said, this is more likely to happen after 2025 than during 2025.

The future of Russia’s economy: Collapse or adaptation?

Question: Could the ascended masters please comment on the state of the Russian economy? Judging by the fact that Russian parliamentarians are discussing the need to introduce food cards in all regions of Russia, and given the huge budget expenditures of the war, as well as the unprecedented sanctions imposed on Russia, one gets the impression that the economy is close to collapse, up to and including a food crisis. How likely is this scenario in Russia? Or does the Russian economy still have a margin of safety and the economic situation in the country will develop according to the Iranian scenario, with a gradual and smooth deterioration of the economy and its adaptation to new conditions, perhaps a transition from a market economy to an administrative command economy, as it was during the Soviet Union?

Well, the simple answer is that the Russian economy is right on the edge of a breakdown. It is possible that the breakdown can be delayed somewhat, but it is quite likely that unless the war stops, there will be a breakdown in 2025. Exactly how it will form is difficult to predict, because of course the government and the Central Bank are trying to do everything they can to patch up the economy here and there and everywhere. However, there are indeed, and this messenger has watched several of them, YouTube videos that outline the problems in the Russian economy, not only in the short term, but even in the long term. And you can easily find those and you can therefore, get a more detailed understanding of this than I can give you here. But it is more likely that the economy will go through some kind of severe crisis than it will go into the Iranian scenario of a slow deterioration. If it does go into a slow deterioration, this will only delay the crash.

What was it that brought the Soviet Union to fall apart? It was the economy, because the economy, the command economy was not sustainable. If you go into another form of command economy, why would that be more stable, more sustainable than what happened during the Soviet Union? You are essentially moving towards that with a wartime economy. And the big problem there is that the government is paying out so much money to the defense industry that they are siphoning workers from other industries who therefore, cannot compete because they are not sustained by government money. You are already moving towards a point where, if the government does not prop up a certain industry, that industry will deteriorate. And this will, of course, include the food industry. You also have the problem, of course, that unemployment is at a very low level, which is not, despite the official propaganda, what makes an economy sustainable. It actually shows a fundamental problem. Too many workers have been needlessly killed in Ukraine. Others have been funneled up to defense industries so that basic industries such as food production do not have the workers.

Therefore, it is very likely that a food crisis will come. It is, in fact, almost impossible to avoid it. And the question simply is: Will this be the straw that breaks the camel’s back of the Russian people’s patience with Putin and his government? Or will, as the old saying goes, the empty refrigerator win over people’s unwillingness to protest?

It is clear that the Russian people are afraid to protest. Many believe in the official propaganda, which is giving them a completely distorted view, not only of the war in Ukraine, but also of the economy. The question simply is: Can the undeniable realities of food prices or food shortages bring the Russian people where they are at the point where they say: “Enough is enough. We will not accept this anymore.” I do not have an unequivocal answer to that question. But given what you have heard from Archangel Gabriel with the release of these energies, I can assure you that this is something that the Russian government had not planned for and, of course, could not plan for because they would not recognize any spiritual influence. But this will accelerate what is going on in Russia. And it is the most likely scenario that what will bring the war to an end will be the economy.

The question is, as we have already mentioned, when will a critical mass of leaders in Russia be willing to acknowledge the reality that either they stop the war or they crash the economy? And if Putin is not willing to acknowledge this reality, will these leaders then be willing to get rid of Putin? That is the question that is likely to be answered in 2025. And it is a complicated situation, of course, but the sanctions have definitely had a major impact. And that is why in retrospect, it will be seen that the approach of imposing these sanctions as a way to stop the war was wiser than engaging in a military confrontation with Russia. However, it will also be seen in retrospect that the American government and Western governments could have done more at an earlier stage to give weapons to Ukraine, give them permission to use them so that they could have pushed the Russian armed forces further back and therefore, not been on this defensive withdrawal cycle that they had been in for most of 2024.

I am not saying that the approach taken by the West has been perfect. I am just saying that it has been a pragmatic approach and it definitely has had a major effect. Now, it must be said also that it is not just the sanctions that have brought the Russian economy to its current state. It is very much also the policy of Putin who has literally put all of the nation’s resources into the war in Ukraine. And anyone with a willingness to look at reality could have seen at a very early stage that this war cannot be won militarily by Russia, and therefore, could have seen that all of this is unnecessary. It is only a deeply delusional person who can believe that a military victory in Ukraine is right around the corner after almost three years. The question is how many leaders in Russia are buying into this delusion, are blinded by this delusion and how many are willing to look at reality. It will not come from the people, sadly, even though it could have, but it is highly unlikely that it will come from the people.

The question is, are there some leaders who are willing to acknowledge that if Putin will not stop the war, we need to stop Putin because it is either stopping the war or crashing the economy. You see, you talk about an Iranian scenario, but Iran has for a long time not been in a war situation. It is not just a matter of the Russian economy not producing enough. It is a matter of producing so much military hardware that is being destroyed that it is just not a sustainable economy. A wartime economy is not a sustainable economy.

Question 1: What lessons can ascended master students learn from the recent Jeju Air plane crash in Korea? What should we ask the ascended masters for the departed souls of those who perished in the accident?

Question 2: In Korea, we had a big plane crash. Are there any fallen beings or demons behind this plane crash? Or is this a reflection of Korean people’s subconsciousness? What is the meaning of this kind of accident for the Korean people?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. The answer was given during the 2025 New Year’s webinar.

As ascended master students, there is not anything you specifically need to learn from this air crash in terms of needing to do anything differently. You need to recognize that in any nation, accidents can happen for various reasons. It can be simply negligence of certain key people. You could say that this is always a reflection of the collective consciousness to some degree, but there is nothing you specifically need to do as ascended master students to learn from this.

What should we ask the ascended masters for the departed souls? Well, you can certainly give the calls to Astrea that the souls will be cut free from any ties to the astral plane so that they can be taken to whatever level they need to go to, depending on their consciousness, where they can receive help to heal and be prepared for their next embodiment.

In terms of fallen beings and demons, you can say that in any accident, there is always a certain influence from dark forces who are seeking to create chaos. But you have to be careful not to over-interpret this, so you think that this is the real cause of it. It is really primarily the collective consciousness. And you need to recognize something here, and this perhaps is what ascended master students could learn from the disaster by looking at the reaction of the Korean people and nation to, not only this disaster, but also the ferry disaster that you had some years ago and other events like this.

In every nation, a majority of the people have a certain mental image of their nation, of what should or should not happen. And in Korea, you have a certain mental image that Korea should be the perfect nation where nothing bad should happen, no mistakes should be made. And therefore, there is a very strong feeling, a very strong reaction to the plane crash, to the ferry disaster, to the stampede you had in Seoul a few years ago, to martial law, to a previous president. And you see this very strong reaction because when these events happen, it shatters this mental image of perfection. And this really is not specific to Korea. You see the same thing very strongly outplayed in most of Asia. China has a mental image. Japan has had a very strong mental image. You see, especially the mental image they had before the Second World War. And of course, you see it in other nations to some degree, but there are actually many nations in the Southeast Asian area who have this very strong desire to appear as the perfect nation.

What you could realize from this is, and what you could make calls on as ascended master students, is that Korea will transcend this. Because, as we have explained many times in different ways at the personal level, if you are not willing to look at issues, you cannot transcend them. This means you suppress them and then the suppression builds a tension that can result in these kinds of accidents. Actually, the best thing that could happen for Korea was that the nation would transcend this desire to save face and maintain a facade and be willing to look at problems, overcome them, work through them, and therefore, Korea could very quickly make progress to an entirely new level. This has already happened in some European nations, where they have been more willing to look at themselves. And you can tie it in with Saint Germain’s stupendous dictation about overcoming this mindset where people are suffering from the hardships, but they are not willing to look at what is causing it. And this is what is holding progress back in many nations.

Because there are so many ascended master’s students in Korea, Korea has a bigger potential than most nations in Southeast Asia for transcending this mindset. And if you could transcend the mindset, you would make progress so much faster than these other nations. And this is, of course, what we want to see for Korea.

Abortion and black-and-white thinking

Question: Recently, you made some comments on the abortion issue that kind of left me in limbo. There is no doubt that an unwanted teenage girl pregnancy can be problematic in so many ways. Politically, it seems that the main focus in discussions and debate have to do with when should an abortion become illegal. I am hoping that you could shed some light on this issue. How do you balance the rights of the newborn with those of the mother-to-be? Guru Ma once said that abortion for her was only acceptable in cases of rape, incest, and if the health of the mother was in serious question. What nuances do you see upon a matter that has for the most part been looked upon as a life and death issue? Looking forward to your clarity on an issue that strongly divides so many people.

Well, this is a complicated issue. In order to avoid a too long discourse on it, I will focus on a few things here.

First of all, we of the ascended masters do not have a clear unequivocal answer to how various nations should deal with this issue. Because it is something that can be dealt with in different ways. And there needs to be room for democracy to work itself out.

However, what you see traditionally, especially in the United States, is as you point out, that this issue has been very divisive. But the reason why it has been divisive is that people have approached it through black and white thinking primarily. That is why you have these people who insist that this is so important that abortion is outlawed and other people who insist it is equally important that it is allowed.

Exactly when abortion should be legal or illegal is not really the main issue here. The main issue is black and white thinking. Because what black and white thinking does is it takes the entire abortion issue and reduces it to a simple question, a binary question. Should it be illegal or not illegal? And the effect of this, as with all black and white thinking, is that any other aspects of the debate are largely ignored.

And if you can step back from black and white thinking, you can begin to see that this issue is a very complex issue that in a sense is pointing out what democracies must wrestle with. And it is simply this, balancing the rights of different groups of people. But also, that in a democracy, you cannot expect to solve any issue by enacting laws, especially not laws that either outlaw something or allow it. This is not the way you solve problems in a democracy. Because in a democracy, you need to think deeper and you need to look at the bigger issue here. And the bigger issue is what is best for the greatest number of people? What is best for the unborn children? What is best for the mothers or potential mothers, the women who get pregnant? You take a woman, a girl, let’s say, who has grown up in certain parts of the United States, who has gotten a public education, who has been grown up in an environment that, quite frankly, looks down upon women, to a large degree looks at women as sexual objects that should be available for men’s pleasure.

Here is this woman. She does not have a higher education. She lives in a poor area where it is difficult to get jobs for more than minimum wage. She is now exploited by a man, an older man, not necessarily that much older, but somewhat older, and she becomes pregnant. What is her situation and her future prospects? The man might just have exploited her for sex. He has no intention of marrying her and raising the child. She might have to face the situation that she is with a child and she is single. She is alone. If all the jobs she can get are for minimum wage, how is she going to raise a child?

What I am saying is, when you look at this, you see that the black and white abortion debate focuses on the rights of the child to be alive. And completely ignores the situation of the mother and the overall attitude of society to women or the poverty that many people live in. You can also say: “Well, what is actually best for a child? Is it necessarily best for any soul to be born under any circumstances?” I am not giving you an unequivocal answer to these questions. I am saying that these are the questions that are being ignored in the current abortion debate. You have the pro-life people who completely ignore the situation of women, only focusing on the child. But the pro-life movement is actually also ignoring the questions of what is best for the child, because they are only focused on the child should be born—every pregnancy should lead to the birth of a child.

The pro-choice movement is focused on the view that every woman should have a right to terminate any pregnancy if she wants. But they are not really focusing on improving women’s situation in society either. Nor are they focused on improving the situation of children born in poor circumstances, because they are saying all these children should be aborted. You see, neither of these two sides are considering these questions. And that is what needs to be considered.

You will see that there are other democratic nations who have considered these questions, and who have reached an approach where abortion is more readily available. But they have also improved education, improved people’s situation. And the result is that even though abortion is legal, the number of abortions is actually very low because most women do not get an unwanted pregnancy. They avoid it. There are societies where women have much more equality, where they are not looked upon as sexual objects. And therefore, an unwanted pregnancy, it is much more rare than it is in some parts of the United States. And I think everyone, or at least most people, will recognize that a woman has the right to avoid becoming pregnant. She does not have an obligation to become pregnant at the age of sixteen. Therefore, there should be much more focus on helping women avoid becoming pregnant in an unwanted pregnancy thereby, really respecting the woman’s right to choose not to become pregnant, but this of course will result in fewer births. But how can a society force its people to have children? Especially if that society forces many people to live in poverty. What you see is that in the nations that seek to improve the living conditions of people, more people want to have children because they can give them a good secure upbringing.

What I will say here is that if you look back to the past, for example, a previous ascended master dispensation, that was in the age of Pisces. And there were certain considerations that were valid enough in the age of Pisces, but they do not have the same importance as you move into Aquarius. And one of the concerns that was raised back then is that an abortion can abort a child’s Divine plan and it can also hurt the soul of the child. And this is valid enough. But what was not considered back then is that, when abortion becomes legal, naturally, we of the ascended masters are planning for this, so that the soul does not necessarily descend into the fetus until we can see that the pregnancy will be brought to term. This avoids the child being hurt. We can also say that if there is a probability that the woman will have an abortion, then a certain soul is not necessarily even connected to the fetus. Where you take the soul that could have been connected to that fetus, you look for another way for that soul to come into embodiment. What I am saying is that naturally, we are adjusting to situations. There are many, many situations that we need to adjust to when we are seeking to bring children into embodiment. And yes, you can say that every pregnancy represents an opportunity for a child. But I can assure you that there are actually pregnancies where there are not that many children that want to be born into those circumstances. And, especially the more evolved a soul is, the less it is willing to come in, for example, as the child of an alcoholic or drug-addicted mother where it is likely to be neglected.

You could also step back and look at the overall situation of society. Is it best that we have children that are born in these very difficult circumstances where they are almost guaranteed to grow up with severe psychological problems that might lead them to become criminals or to become addicts or to otherwise have difficult psychology that, first of all, is hard for the child. Second of all, it is a burden to society because they end up in prison or in the welfare system or whatever. Or would it be better for society to improve the situation, overcome the poverty, and therefore, have a situation where most pregnancies are wanted pregnancies?

And therefore, if most pregnancies are wanted pregnancies, it sort of becomes immaterial whether abortion is legal or not or how late an abortion can be performed. Naturally, when it comes to the life of the mother, the mother should always have the right to terminate the pregnancy in order to save its own life.

Again, it is a complicated issue. One could write an entire book about it, which I do not intend to do. But I am just trying to give you the sense that there are so many things to consider and that it really goes to the heart of how a democracy can function in a better way. But in order to function in that better way, a democracy must make an effort to accelerate itself beyond black and white thinking or gray thinking so that there is a higher degree of Christ’s discernment. And I know very well that some people from a previous ascended master dispensation will say: “Well, if you have Christ’s discernment, you want abortion to be illegal.” But that is a misunderstanding of what Christ’s discernment really is. Because Christ’s discernment, first of all, wants to raise awareness. It is more focused on raising awareness than specific outer results or conditions.

Political crisis in South Korea and the role of ascended master students

Question: The next question. What are the ascended master’s views on the martial law declaration by President Yoon Suk-Yeol, South Korea? In the current situation, will the calls from Korean students help South Korea overcome the crisis and lead the country to a democracy and golden age? On 3rd of December, 2024, South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol declared emergency martial law in a pro-coup to cover up his and his wife’s corruption and ensure his long-term rule. The declaration of martial law surprised South Koreans so much that within a short time after the declaration, many citizens gathered in front of the National Assembly in protest and tried to prevent martial law soldiers from entering the National Assembly, while at the same time, many members of the National Assembly broke through police security to the National Assembly and gathered in the National Assembly building, where a resolution to lift martial law was passed within two hours.

Since I have already commented on a similar question, I will focus on what can the students in South Korea do? And yes, certainly your calls will help. We have said many, many times that when there is a crisis situation, there can often be a relatively small difference between one outcome and another outcome. And this is where your calls can have a major impact. But as I also said, it is necessary for the Korean people to step up. And of course, you cannot work against the free will of the people, but you can certainly make the calls that will help the people decide that they want a different form of government.

Naturally, corruption is an issue in Korea, as it is in other democratic nations, not all, but many, certainly. This is not the first time a politician has attempted to create some kind of crisis situation in order to stay in power and cover up corruption. You see the same thing going on in Israel right now. You see it in other nations as well. This, of course, is something you can make calls on, that the people will become aware, that they will not tolerate this, that they will not allow this to happen. And you can make calls that the people will continue to protest until they see some kind of decisive action and they will not allow that the president can use his security forces to prevent himself from being arrested and held accountable for what he did.

Political leadership in Korea

Question: On December 3rd, 2024, President Yoon Suk-Yeol of Korea shocked the people by declaring a state of emergency martial law. What kind of old mindset does the president of Yoon Suk-Yeol and the ruling party have? But supporters believe an election rigged by the opposition party and a pro-North Korean left are responsible for the emergency martial law. What kind of spiritual beings are the president and the first lady? Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the opposition party, is the most likely candidate for the next presidential election. The leader Lee Jae-myung has problems such as judicial risk and delay in trial. But supporters believe that Lee’s judicial risks are fabricated. What kind of spiritual beings is the leader Lee Jae-myung? Is there any politician in Korea that can be tuned in with the ascended masters?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 New Year Webinar.

Well, this situation is, we might say, a necessary step in the ongoing growth of Korea as a democratic nation. Because what it shows is the need to transcend the current level, where you have these divisions. This is not unique to Korea, you can of course see it in the United States and even other democratic nations. But the first question you need to ask yourself: Is it reasonable that the president has the power to declare martial law without getting the approval from somewhere, some kind of constitutional council, or whatever institution you can create? In other words, is it necessary to reform the Constitution of Korea in order to prevent this from happening in the future?

Because obviously, you have a history with martial law in Korea, that is very uncomfortable for many people. And therefore, you need to see this as an opportunity to step up to a higher level, where you place reasonable constraints on the president’s ability to declare martial law. It can still be reasonable to give the president that power if Korea is attacked. But this clearly was not the case here. The whole situation that this was brought about by North Korean sympathizers and the opposition, this is a fabrication. There really was no genuine reason to declare martial law. It was simply an attempt of the president to take greater powers and maintain power.

Yes, President Yoon Suk-Yeol is a fallen being, not in the league of Hitler, Putin, Stalin, and so forth. But still, not the kind of leader you want in Korea. In terms of the opposition candidate, Lee Myung, he is not a fallen being. But this is not to say that he is necessarily an ideal candidate.

There is really a need for Korea to step up to a higher level, where you can attract more balanced candidates. What there is a need for is balance. And we have talked about this in other dictations given in Korea. There really is a need for you also to overcome the old mindset. I understand this is difficult because you still have North Korea as an armed enemy right next to you. But still, South Korea is the nation who can transcend the old dualistic, black and white mindset. North Korea cannot, but you can. And therefore, by transcending it, you will bring forth better leaders, and you will also minimize the risk of a confrontation with the North.

The situation in South Korea is not that different from what you see in many other nations, where there is a, we might say, clearer division than has been seen in previous years and decades. It is not that the division was not there, but it was not as clearly pronounced between, for example, right and left or conservatives and more liberal. You see that in many, even some of the older democratic nations of Europe, where you have the populists or the right wings that are gaining popularity. This is just part of the transition phase, where democracies need to put behind them, the black and white thinking, the quest for simple solutions, where somebody, whether it is a strong man or somebody who has a party or ideology, can solve all problems very easily. There are no easy solutions to society’s problems, because they require the participation of the people. Really, the challenge for all democracies is, will the people step up and engage, instead of always projecting that it is this politician’s fault, or that politician’s fault, or that this politician will save us, or that politician will save us. It is not a uniquely Korean problem. It is simply part of the transition into the golden age, where democracies need to accelerate to a view that limits the powers of the leaders and creates more engagement from the people, more, as we have talked about before, direct involvement with the people in various ways.

Letting go of attachment and karmic ties to fallen beings

Question: I am working on totally letting go of any attachments to changing my mother. I sense that she was there in my birth trauma and I feel she is either a fallen being or deep in the fallen consciousness. She is a benevolent narcissist and unlike my father who is very dark and where it is very obvious, she is extremely deceptive and very hard to discern so that many in my family fall for her manipulations without even realizing it and it took me many years to see through it. My conclusion is that sometimes she does show what seems like genuine care or recognizing something spiritual but the vibration is off and it always confused me and where I then go into giving excessive sympathy or doubt myself. I would appreciate any help in this confusion and is the excessive sympathy coming from a separate self and how to cut the karmic tie.

The first thing you need to recognize here is that when we talk about fallen beings, we are often seeking to help you see the fallen beings, see them for what they are and therefore, we use more extreme examples of the fallen beings. It is easier to see for example some dictator who has killed millions of people as a fallen being. But what we have also said is there are of course different levels of fallen beings. There are those who are in the total state of rebellion against God. There are others who fell because they followed the more extreme fallen beings. They are not as malicious as the more aggressive fallen beings. This is why we have talked recently about the benevolent narcissists. This is one thing. The other thing you need to recognize is that when you are talking about a fallen being in embodiment then that being will have some human qualities. You will see that even some of the worst dictators in history could have people they treated with love and affection. And this of course is for the more aggressive fallen beings, part of the deception. But for those who are less aggressive it is simply because either they never descended to the extremes of the fallen consciousness or they have started to grow out of it and therefore, they have acquired what we might call human qualities.

For example, we have said when you go below the 48th level of consciousness you go into separation. The majority of people on earth are in the consciousness of separation. They are below the 48th level. But this does not mean they are evil or aggressive people. You have to go quite far below the 48th level before people become openly evil or aggressive. This means that there is a spectrum below the 48th level of consciousness into the 20s that is just what we can call regular human beings. And they have certain qualities and this includes having love for their children, caring for other people. But it is of course seen from the separate state of consciousness, the separate selves. But they have many qualities that are what you call normal human qualities. When a fallen beings starts growing from this into this level of what we can call human consciousness or human qualities it takes on some of this. But of course, this does not mean that that being has completely escaped the fallen consciousness. And that is why it can have a we might say dual personality or Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality where it can have both of these qualities.

And this is what you are obviously sensing. What you run into here is partly that the fallen beings have created these collective entities but also that human beings have created these collective entities that says: “Oh, you should have sympathy for others. You should be kind to others and especially when they are kind to you.” And I am not saying that you should not be kind. But what I am saying is that to return to the question is, is the excessive sympathy coming from a separate self? Well, anything excessive always comes from a separate self. And it is most likely a self that is based on this idea that: Oh, when people are nice, you should be nice. You should show them sympathy. So the first thing you can do is realize that you have a tendency to react to your mother based on some separate selves. You can use our tools and to look at these selves and go after them. When you overcome these separate selves, you will increase your Christ discernment. And therefore, you will see that even if you recognize that your mother is a fallen being, you do not have to treat her as if she was some kind of mini Hitler. But on the other hand, you do not need to let her manipulate you. And one of the ways she will try to manipulate you is through sympathy, getting sympathy, or also trying to appear spiritual. There are many fallen beings who, as I said, are starting to move up in consciousness, overcoming the obviously evil or aggressive state, who can be interested in spirituality. There are, as we have said before, false gurus who appear to be very spiritual, very knowledgeable, very wise, and even have special abilities to produce various phenomena. This is where you need Christ discernment. But the other thing you can do is look at yourself and ask yourself, why did you choose to embody with your mother in this lifetime, given the impact she had on your birth trauma? Was it not because you wanted to overcome the birth trauma? You need to obviously use our tools to do that. But you also, in relation to your mother, need to recognize that no matter what your mother did in a situation with a birth trauma, what is in your Divine Plan is that you become free of her. And that means, including other things, forgiving her unconditionally. And there is a tendency for people to think that: “Oh, but in order for me to forgive people, they have to see what they did and regret it.” Well, that is what you cannot allow yourself to think when you are dealing with fallen beings. Because it may not be possible for your mother to do that in this lifetime. And if you want to make your ascension in this lifetime, you cannot wait for your mother to be ready, perhaps in many lifetimes. And therefore, you just have to forgive, not to set her free, but to set yourself free.

And then you can, when you reach that stage, look more generally at what is your reaction to the fallen beings in general. Because as an avatar, when you have been attacked by fallen beings, you have a reaction to them, you have a certain view of them. And you need to simply come to a point where you have overcome all attachments either way. Do you have a desire to reform them, to help them, to save them, to make them see what they are doing? If you are to ascend after this lifetime, you need to overcome all of that. Because otherwise, your ascension will depend on the choices made by fallen beings and that is not a recommendable position to be in.

Truly, it is a matter of realizing that, despite the outer facade, despite the human characteristics that fallen beings might have, it is really a matter of reading their vibration. And then realizing that it is a lower vibration than what you need in order to ascend and therefore, you need to ultimately free yourself from any attachments. It does not even mean that you have to break off physical contact with your mother. But you have to free yourself so that you can be around her without reacting, without being pulled into sympathy, without being manipulated, without feeling obligated, without wanting anything from her. And of course, she will feel it if you become free. And she will accuse you of not caring, not loving her, not being a good child, and so forth. But truly, you need to overcome all of that in order to be free.

Now, it may not be in your Divine plan to ascend after this lifetime. But still, if you are to help Saint Germain manifest the golden age, you can do so much better if you break ties with fallen beings. Again, it is a matter of being able to be at peace with being around fallen beings in this embodiment, even in future embodiments. But if you can be free in this embodiment, you will not attract them, most likely in coming embodiments.

The Dilemma of Free Will on the Path of Self-Mastery

Question: Dearest Nada, this marks the end of my path with this course (The Course of Self-Mastery). I have learned a great many things as I have progressed along, but I cannot accept that I would be at peace if I allowed low consciousness free will to outplay itself when I could have a possibility of influencing or stopping it. As a thought experiment, I pondered if I could just stand aside in a neutral state of mind while my soon-to-be-born grandchild was beaten, and I have come to the conclusion that I could not do so and be at peace with inaction. Even though I would not intend physical harm to the attacker, I would definitely intervene in any other way that I could. I do fully embrace turning the other cheek. I still consider myself to be a disciple of Jesus and Buddha. I suspect that even Jesus would attempt to shield the child in some fashion. But your statement that I should not intervene in any way to influence the outcome of an attacker’s free will simply does not resonate with me. I have failed level 5 of your retreat. (Kim: This is the fifth chapter in the book . Nada’s book – number 6) And my journey along the path of self-mastery ends. Add me to the long list of chelas that could not accept being at peace with doing nothing. If I have not understood your teaching properly, I would greatly appreciate a response.

Answer from Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 New Year Webinar.

I just want to elaborate a little bit on this question. Because what Nada says in chapter 5 of the book is actually not what the person is saying here. The person has not understood the teaching properly. Because what Nada is saying is that many people look at karma as something physical. You are taking a physical action and then you make karma. But what Nada is saying is that the most severe form of karma you can make is not at the physical level, but it is influencing a person’s mind at the emotional, mental and identity level. That is a more severe form of karma than taking physical action. What she is saying is, in this thought experiment, your grandchild is about to be attacked by a bully at school. Nada is not saying that you cannot step in to protect your grandchild. That is not what she is saying. It is a misunderstanding, a misreading of the teaching. Neither is she saying that you cannot attempt to persuade the attacker to stop attacking. What she is saying that you cannot do is try to manipulate the mind of the attacker at the emotional, mental and identity level.

You have to understand the deeper meaning here of what she is saying. She is saying that if you are trying to talk to somebody, you are not interfering with their mind. It is when you are trying to manipulate them, control them, that is when you are interfering with their mind. And that is what the fallen beings are trying to do all the time. They are trying to pacify us, trying to deceive us. You have a right to talk to somebody who is attacking you. You also have a right to physically defend yourself against an attack. Because if you did not protect your grandchild, if you are an adult and you did not protect your grandchild, you would make karma for not protecting the child who is more vulnerable than you are.

The way the person is describing is a misreading of the teaching. But now let’s say that you tried, even though the attacker is there and has an aggressive intent, you tried to persuade the attacker and it did not work. The attacker just did not respond. You can imagine that Zelensky tried to persuade Putin to stop attacking Ukraine. Probably not going to happen, right? But what she is saying is that there is a fundamental difference between trying to persuade somebody and then trying to manipulate their mind. For example, you see what is commonly called control games, where somebody is trying to make another person feel guilty for not having done what person A wants them to do. And that is a form of manipulation. And that is making karma more than taking physical action. I think what is happening here is that the person is reading the teaching with the linear mind and is not reading it carefully enough. I understand that this is a challenging teaching. But what Nada is really saying is you have to overcome all desire to manipulate other people’s minds.

And therefore, you have to allow free will to outplay itself. In other words, if you cannot persuade an attacker to stop attacking, you have to allow them to have that aggressive intent. It does not mean you cannot defend yourself, but you cannot seek to manipulate the mind of the person. Because when you reach that level of the path that she is talking about on the initiations of the Sixth Ray, you have to see through this desire to influence other people’s free will that many people have, even many spiritual people have. I can see in myself that I had it when I was younger. I thought it is so important to overcome suffering that it is okay to interfere with people’s free will so they can choose not to suffer. But that is what Nada is saying. In order to go to the higher level, you have to overcome that desire. And if you read the text carefully, you can see that that is actually what she is saying. And quite frankly, I have not yet heard from somebody who understood it the way this person is doing. So this thing about⎯’add me to the long list of chelas that could not accept being at peace with doing nothing’. I do not think there is a long list of chelas, not to my knowledge at least. If there is, then let me hear from you and let’s discuss it. But this person clearly has not read the teaching carefully enough because there is a deeper profound effect. You also have to realize here that if you look back at Jesus, he was pretty radical: “Turn the other cheek”. And there can be a reason for it. And that can be that if you have karma with another person because you did something to that person in a past life, so the person comes and attacks you in this life, you attack the person back. You are adding to the karmic spiral. This is what you see in the Middle East. What is going on right now, Israel and the Palestinians? Well, they have a karmic spiral that goes way back. Now they have just both accelerated it, added to it. That is why Jesus said: If you want to break this karmic spiral, you have to turn the other cheek.

Now again, I am not saying you cannot defend yourself if you are in a danger of being killed. I am not saying you cannot defend your grandchild by taking physical action. But specifically, what she talks about there is this desire to influence other people’s state of mind. And if you do not grasp that, you cannot go beyond a certain level. And there is a danger that you actually start going downward because you start reinforcing the self that you have at that level instead of overcoming it. You understand, I hope, that the Course of Self-Mastery is really that each chapter in all of these books represents a certain level of consciousness, a certain sense of self you have at the 48th level or the 60th level or whatever. And in order for you to go to the next level up, that sense of self really has to die. I mean, it has to die. And that means if you have the intent or you have the thought that it is okay to influence other people’s minds for some greater good, this is a self. And until you let the self die, you are not free of it.You cannot rise to the next level. And that is why sometimes the masters have to be very direct and very provocative to get you to give up this.

And as I said, you could very well have a situation where there is a person who has this kind of a self and in many past lifetimes has taken actions to defend itself and has created all these karmic spirals. And the person has for a lifetime just been treading water, getting to a certain point, cannot get beyond it. Therefore, in order to get beyond it, that self has to die and therefore the person has to confront that self, look at it, and accept to let the self die. And if the person is not willing to do that, you will just take another round of reinforcing the self. But if you are willing to do it, you rise above the self. And then you can actually, possibly take action to defend yourself or defend your grandchild without reinforcing the karmic spiral. Because now you are doing it from a higher level of awareness, a higher level of Christhood. I actually sense that Nada does not want to comment on it because what I have said here should be enough. You simply need to read it carefully and you will see what I am saying here.

Loss of strength and vitality

Question: About loss of strength and ways to regain vitality. After reaching the age of 95, my grandmother used to say that she had lost all her strength. My mother is now complaining about a lack of strength as well. She is turning 90 soon. I was in the hospital with peritonitis, sepsis, etc. And I also had no strength when I was 26. Many other people complain about a lack of energy at different ages. What could cause a lack of strength and how can it be restored?

This is a very wide-ranging topic, because there can be many causes for the lack of strength. I cannot give you a thorough answer to it. There can be physical causes, where the body has an infection, it has, for example, cancer, or it does not have the necessary nutrients. Many people eat a diet where they do not get enough nutrients to really feed the body, and as they grow older, the body is simply malnourished. They may still be overweight, but the body is malnourished in terms of vitamins and minerals, and enzymes and so on. This can be a physical cause of it.

But there can also be an emotional, mental, identity level cause, where people, as they grow older, they either build more and more subconscious selves, or they reinforce certain subconscious selves. And so much of their energy is absorbed by these selves, that the energy does not reach the physical body. But even at the emotional level, you can have a lack of strength, because the energy that comes into the emotional body is absorbed by these selves. In order to uphold the self, it takes energy. The stronger the self, the more energy it takes. You can have a mental fatigue, where most of people’s energy that comes from the identity realm is absorbed by these selves, and they do not feel that they have the energy, the vitality to even think. And you see many older people who cannot think clearly. You can have at the identity level, selves that absorb the energy that comes from the I AM Presence. You could say that: “What happens over time, as people grow older, is really described in Jesus’ parable about the talents, where to him that has, more shall be added, and who has not, that which he has shall be taken away”

Your I AM Presence is releasing energy to you. What are you meant to do with it? Well, you are meant to be co-creative, work on your psychology, seek to help other people, bring forth something positive. Many older people stop doing any of this. They just become self-focused, self-centered, living their daily lives without doing anything that reaches beyond themselves. And this can cause the stream of energy from the I AM Presence to be reduced. There simply is not as much energy flowing into the four lower bodies. You have both the absorption of what comes in, and the reduction of the amount that comes in. And naturally, people do not have the strength, the vitality to do anything. And this can become a self-reinforcing spiral. Now, to some degree, you could say that this is a grace, because some people are making karma, and by reducing the energy, the I AM Presence is reducing the karma, since it is not likely that the person is going to change for the rest of this lifetime.

So there are various reasons for it. What can you do to regain strength? Well, first of all, you need to do what you need to do with a physical body. See if there is a disease that takes your strength. See if the body is lacking vitamins, minerals. But beyond that, you can, and I know this is our universal answer, work on the psychology, work on the subconscious selves, the emotional and mental and identity levels that are absorbing the energy coming from the I AM Presence before it becomes physical.

This, of course, is not going to help an older generation who are not spiritually interested and not willing to do this. And you see many people from the older generations who are not willing to even consider that they could work on their psychology. But for those who are willing, this is certainly something you can do. And you can say that either way, how can you lose? The more you resolve psychology, the better you feel about yourself, the more at peace you feel. And the more you resolve psychology, the more clarity you might get about what to do with the physical body.

Ukraine-Russia War: Prolonged conflict or 2025 Resolution?

Question: Is there a possibility that a war between Ukraine and Russia could continue for years? Or is there still a chance that an agreement might be reached in 2025 and martial law in Ukraine ended?

Well, unfortunately, I will have to give you a nonspecific answer, because it depends on the free will choices of a critical mass of the Ukrainian people.

As we have just said, the war has fundamentally changed Ukraine. There is no going back to the way it was before. If a critical mass of Ukrainians can begin to accept that Ukraine needs to change, then this will shift the equation and make it more likely that the war will not go on. However, you also need to recognize here that, of course, Russia is a big factor. Europe is a big factor. The United States is a big factor. There are so many variables here. If you look at the situation realistically right now, as it is right now, the most likely scenario for ending the war is an impending economic collapse in Russia. Where a critical mass of leaders in Russia, probably not Putin, but other leaders, see that if the war continues much longer, the Russian economy will collapse, simply collapse. And in order to avoid this, they have to stop the war. This can motivate them to try and get some kind of a ceasefire deal that makes it seem like it was not a complete mistake to start the war. They got something out of it. This is a possibility.

There are, of course, people who can see that the Russian economy is headed for a crash. It is possible that this could happen. But it is also possible that there will be such a resistance, both from Putin and other leaders, to stopping the war that they will allow it to go on until the economy actually collapses. And this could lead to very severe consequences in Russia, even the breakup of the Russian Federation. Another variable is, of course, that Putin could go out of embodiment. And that would fundamentally change the equation so that there would probably be some leaders in Russia that would step forward and look for a way to end the war without destroying Russia or losing too much face. Another variable is, of course Trump, who has promised to end the war in 24 hours after he is inaugurated. What will he do to fulfill that promise? And what will that look like?

Right now, the situation is so fluid, which you can look at as a bad thing, or you can look at it as a good thing. Because the fluidity makes it more likely that something will change compared to what you have now where you have this war of attrition that has put Ukraine on the defensive because Russia is so much bigger, but of course has also caused the Russian economy to be stretched so thin that a collapse could very easily happen in 2025.

Transcending corruption in Ukraine

Question: This is a question for the ascended masters of the Fourth Ray of Purity. Corruption remains a critical challenge in Ukrainian society. Could you please tell me how I, on a personal level, can influence the level of corruption in Ukrainian society? Are actions such as refusing to give bribes and responsibly paying taxes sufficient? Or are expressing other aspects of the physical, mental or identity octave levels critical? Please explain how I, as a student of the ascended masters and a Ukrainian, can better contribute to transcending the state of corruption consciousness within the Ukrainian nation?

Well, it depends on your position in Ukrainian society. Certainly, you can refuse to take bribes, refuse to pay bribes. You can pay your taxes. But if you have the opportunity, you can also speak out at whatever avenues are open to you. It is very important that people start speaking out. You can basically say: “Well, what difference does it make that one person speaks out”? And true, it will not make that much of a difference. But let’s say that there were 10,000 people who had the potential to speak out. And each of them decides in their own minds: “Oh, it will not make any difference that I speak out. Why do it”? But if they all decided to speak out, then it would have an impact. You can, of course, also give decrees and invocations. You can give invocations and decrees to the masters of the Fourth Ray for the purification of the energies. There are, of course, dark forces behind corruption. You can call for them to be judged by Christ, the Christ judgment. And you can call for them to be removed. You can call to Astrea to bind and consume them. And this can have an effect and it will have an effect. Of course, there is always free will. But as I am saying, there is something you can do.

The impact that this has depends on the free will choices of other people. There are many people for whom it is already the case that they have transcended the mindset behind corruption. Because, of course, the war has been a wakeup call for many people in Ukraine, who realize that if Ukraine is to survive as an independent nation, they need to become a modern Western nation. And that requires major changes. There is also a large part of the Ukrainian population who have not made that change and who are thinking that: “Oh, once we get beyond the war, everything will go back to normal”. That, of course, will never happen. What really needs to happen in Ukraine is that a critical mass of people realize that Ukraine has been forever changed, has been fundamentally changed by this war. And there is no going back to the state it was before. Therefore, there is only one way to go. That is forward, by accelerating the nation towards becoming a modern democratic nation.

Belarus’ future: Will it resist war and Russian control?

Question: Will Belarus’ armed forces be able to avoid participating in the war against Ukraine? Considering the Belarusian people’s current state of consciousness, how likely is it that Belarus will avoid being fully absorbed by Putin’s Russia?

That depends on whether a critical mass of people in Belarus make use of the opportunity to let the Christ be born in them. It also depends on whether a critical mass of people in Russia make use of this opportunity. Naturally, we are wanting to see all nations grow. Right now, you can say that there is a reasonable chance that Belarus will be able to stay out of the war because Lukashenko has already indicated that he will not allow his armed forces to attack Ukraine or be involved in the war.

If Lukashenko were to die right now, it is a high likelihood that Putin would invade Belarus and try to basically absorb it into the Russian Federation. If Lukashenko was not there, it is doubtful that the armed forces would be able to mount any real resistance. But as long as Lukashenko is there, the Russian army is so pressured in Ukraine that it would be a gross miscalculation to start fighting with the Belarusian armed forces. There is somewhat of a status quo. Of course, in the long run, the little longer run, Lukashenko needs to go in order for Belarus to progress. But for right now, it is better that he stays in power until the situation in Russia reaches some kind of climax that changes the equation. And this can be that Putin goes out of embodiment, that there is enough opposition of leaders in Russia who can see that the war is a disaster for Russia and that they need to stop this because they cannot win it militarily, despite what the propaganda is telling the Russian people. And it can be the economy that finally reaches a breaking point where it becomes clear again, not to Putin, he will probably be the last to realize it, but at least to a critical mass of the leaders that either they stop the war or the economy collapses and Russia disintegrates.

Once you are beyond that critical point, which of course now has been brought closer by the release of light by archangel Gabriel and the other archangels, then the situation in Belarus will change fundamentally and the situation in Ukraine, of course, and the situation in Russia and the other republics that are part of the Russian Federation. The entire equation will change fundamentally. I do not want to give an exact prediction of when this will happen, because again, it depends on free will choices among the Russian people. Right now, you have a situation where a very large part of the Russian population does not want to know what is happening with the war in Ukraine or with the economy. They just want to pretend that everything will be okay. They do not want to have an opinion. They do not want to seek information beyond official propaganda. And they do not want to talk about it because they are simply afraid, just like they were during Soviet times. And this, of course, needs to change, because how can a nation move forward when the people are so unwilling to even think about the future of the nation?

And again, how hard do the knocks have to become before the Russian people start waking up from this, literally, a spiritual coma that most of them are in?

How the Law of Karma relates to the war in Ukraine

Question: The law of karma. The masters have said that only 2% of events on earth are not karmic returns. This implies that 98% of all instances where someone abuses power against another are tied to the fact that the person affected either committed a similar act in the past or in some way earned this karma. In that case, could you explain how this ratio applies to the Russian Ukrainian conflict? After all, you have said that Ukraine did not have such karma with Russia to have provoked this invasion.

Again, you have to be careful with the linear mind. Most of what happens on earth is a result of karma. But karma has two aspects. In the, we might say, older view of karma that we to some degree gave during previous dispensations, karma is tied to a physical action. You take a certain action, you kill somebody. You are creating a karmic impulse. When that karmic impulse returns to you, you will be killed. There is what we might call a physical aspect of karma. But we have also explained that much of what we call karma in this dispensation is the psychological aspect of karma.

We have explained that if you killed somebody in a past life, that impulse will cycle upwards from the physical to the emotional, mental and identity. Then it will turn and start descending towards the physical. And there is a time delay. And the time delay is that you have time to transmute the psychology that caused you to kill that person. And if you do overcome that psychology, the karma either will not descend physically or will descend in a milder form so that you, instead of being killed, might have some other event such as an accident. When you say that 98% of all instances where someone abuses power against another are tied to the fact that the person affected either committed a similar act in the past or in some way earned this karma, you have to see that this is not all physical. It does not mean that Ukraine in the past attacked Russia in order to deserve Russia attacking Ukraine. But it does mean that Ukraine had not transcended the psychology, the consciousness of seeing violence and fighting as a viable solution.

There was a psychological reason that made Ukraine vulnerable. But as we have also explained, many among the Ukrainian people volunteered to be exposed to this attack in order to give the Russian people an opportunity to see their psychology that caused them to attack a brotherly nation.

You have to realize here that karma is a very complicated equation on a planet like earth, on an unnatural planet. We have said before that the Karmic Board has something, a device that is more powerful than any supercomputer you have developed on earth. And it uses this to look at all these karmic connections and how they can be worked out. What we are trying to give you is a very simplified version of this. The reality of it is much more complex. Ukraine did not have the physical karma of having attacked Russia in the past, but they did have some psychological karma of not having transcended the force-based mindset. This is also, as we have said, why Ukraine did not become a member of NATO in 2004, because they were not ready for it. They had not transcended the corruption either.

Again, if you look at it just with the linear mind, you cannot really grasp karma and how it works itself out. It is so complex. True, we have tried to simplify it to give you some understanding, but there is much complexity we have not explained to you. I said that you take a physical action, you are sending out an energy impulse that goes into the emotional, mental and identity and then starts descending again. And this is true, but a very simplified view, because the energy impulse that you are sending out from the physical reacts completely differently with the emotional realm than what you see at the physical level. Again, there is a difference in how the energy reacts with the mental realm and a difference in the identity realm. You cannot look at this in a simple way with an analytical mind. There is much more complexity here. We may give some teachings about this in the future, but this would require us to have a different foundation for you to grasp this.

The impact of tense on the effectiveness of decrees and invocations

Question: Does the tense in which rosaries, decrees and invocations are written affect their effectiveness when we give them. Since the future never arrives, are they ineffective if written or translated in the future tense?

What you are doing is you are affirming the manifestation of something. And this has value, even if it is in the future tense. It is not correct to say that the future never arrives. This is one of those statements that has become popular in the New Age culture. But it is not correct. You are having an actual situation on earth today. That situation was not there ten years ago. Ten years ago, what you have today was the future. But now it is the present and it has arrived. The future did arrive. There is always movement, always growth. And this is what you are affirming.

You are affirming that you accept a certain situation manifest. You affirm it as if it is manifest. It does not mean that it automatically will manifest because it depends on free will and other people. But by you affirming it, you understand, you are taking something that exists already in the identity realm. You are pulling it down towards the physical. Now some of the things described in invocations are already in the mental, some even in the emotional, and just need to be pulled into the physical.

The saying that the future never arrives, it only has validity in the sense that there is always a future. And if you are trying to make a decision such as whether to allow the Christ to be born in you, then you cannot make that decision in the future because the future never arrives. You have to make it in the present. You can only make decisions in the present moment. But with decrees and invocations, you are affirming something that will be manifest as it is pulled into the physical realm. And that is perfectly valid.

Books as teaching tools

Question: About the Phylos book, A Dweller on Two Planets. This book was given quite some time ago, though it was mentioned in the previous dispensation (the Summit Lighthouse) given through the prophets. I would like to know what the masters can say today about its historical accuracy and reliability as a teaching tool. Additionally, could they recommend another source that describes the undocumented history of our planet?

You have to be careful here and realize that the value of a book as a teaching tool does not depend on its historical accuracy. The value of a book as a teaching tool is what it can teach you about human psychology.

There is a tendency among all people in the modern world, because the modern world is so influenced by the linear mind, the analytical mind, that when you see a spiritual book that talks about something that happened in the past, you want to take it literally. And you want to say that this is absolutely the way things were back then. You have to realize that the book A Dweller on Two Planets, its value is not in taking everything that was said literally and saying this is exactly how it was on Atlantis.

The book is one person looking back at the time of Atlantis, seeing it from a certain perspective that is not necessarily based on a reading of the Akashic Records, but it was given for a specific purpose to show certain lessons. Now many of you have come across a series of books called Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East. The idea is that there was a Western group of scientists who went on an expedition to the Himalayas and met these spiritual masters who had various supernatural abilities. There are those who have criticized this series of books saying that the author Baird T. Spalding never traveled to the East and there was no such expedition. But see, the expedition was a literary device, a teaching tool. Even though the expedition did not take place, the books are still valuable as teaching tools for those who are looking for psychological lessons. And it is the same with Phylos. It is the same with many other teachings that were given about events that happened in the past, including what was given through Madame Blavatsky, the I Am Movement.

You cannot take this completely literally. You have the book My Lives, which is what we would recommend in this dispensation for people who are open to this dispensation. But again, if you take it with a literal mind and want to believe that everything that is described in the book happened exactly as it was described, and if you say, give me an exact year where the civilization described in the book took place, then you are not grasping the purpose of the book. You have to be very careful about this, because otherwise you end up being an atheist or an agnostic who is looking at empirical data. And there are people who have done this, and for example concluded that Jesus did not exist as a physical person. And they will cite all kinds of data, all kinds of historical sources, or they will say there is no proof that he ever existed as a person. You have to realize here that you can do this with just about any religion, any kind of spiritual text. You can either find something that contradicts what is considered historical data, or you can say there is no proof that this ever happened.

If you use the literal analytical mind in this way, you are blocking your progress on the spiritual path. And there is certainly a tendency for many people in the modern world to do this. I would just hope that ascended master students would not be among them.

How do the ascended masters grow in consciousness?

Question: While in embodiment, we grow in consciousness by resolving our illusions. How do the ascended masters grow in consciousness?

By helping you resolve your illusions, but also by being co-creators and co-creating in the ascended realm. Some ascended masters choose to stay with earth, and we grow by helping you. Other ascended masters choose to go on and take up various co-creative positions in the ascended realm. You might say that when you are in embodiment, before you ascend, you do not only grow by resolving illusions, you also grow by being co-creative. And as you resolve more and more illusions, you can become more and more co-creative and bring forth something positive instead of overcoming the illusions.

As you become more creative, we of the ascended masters who are working with earth can also help you in your co-creative abilities. We can help you by releasing ideas of what you can bring forth. For example, many of us, in fact all of us who are working with the earth are, of course, working with or working under, you might say, Saint Germain, as he has the overall vision for the golden age. And we are, of course, growing by coming up with ideas and releasing the ideas for how the earth can manifest the golden age. There has been a tendency for ascended master students to look at us as if we are somehow perfect beings, which means we do not grow, but of course we grow. That is what we have been saying over and over again. We are growing towards ultimately the Creator consciousness. But we who have ascended in the sixth sphere above yours, we are growing in that environment first and then we rise to higher levels later.

The entire world of form, from your unascended sphere all the way up to the Creator, is a growth process. And you grow by expanding your sense of self until you can fathom what it is like in the next level up. For example, the sixth sphere, the latest ascended sphere, is clearly in a fundamentally higher level than your unascended sphere, but it still has layers. And the beings who are at the highest level of the sixth sphere are considerably higher in consciousness and self-awareness than I am, since I ascended from earth in the not-too-distant past. I first have to reach their level, then I can graduate from the sixth sphere, rise to the fifth, start working my way up in that. And this is how life progresses.

We can give you glimpses of the higher spheres, glimpses of the Creator consciousness, but you cannot fathom it until you have reached a much higher level. You need to reach the higher levels of the sixth sphere before you can begin to fathom what it is like in the fifth, at the lower levels of the fifth, and then gradually expand from there.

A Spiritual perspective on ADHD

Question: Dear Masters, I have questions about a condition that is called ADHD. I was diagnosed with ADHD many years ago, and I am quite certain that my daughter also has ADHD. I am learning a lot about ADHD recently, mainly because I want to parent my daughter in the best way possible for her. I love my daughter very much and truly value our relationship, but some aspects can be quite challenging. I am doing my best to maneuver both of us through the challenges of everyday life. I have found articles and parenting guides on YouTube that focus specifically on parents of children with ADHD. These resources address issues like the frequent and intense temper tantrums that I observe in my daughter. Experiencing her daily emotional outbursts can be overwhelming at times. I am wondering about the spiritual aspects of that condition. It is commonly known that many successful people have ADHD and that people who have ADHD are wired differently in the brain. Can you please shed some light on that? I had the thought that ADHD may be a trauma symptom from a past lifetime. Am I wrong?

Well again, I cannot give you a simple answer because it is quite individual. It is true that there are what you call successful people from a worldly perspective, who have ADHD or other psychological conditions. What you can see in this condition is that they are driven to do something. They become obsessive-compulsive about it to the point where they are so eager to produce results that of course they produce results compared to people who are more relaxed and are less driven in life. Now there are some in the world who will say this is a positive. But for many of these people, the successful people with ADHD, it is actually as you have intuited because they have trauma from past lives. And for at least some of these people, the trauma was of such a nature that they feel the need to compensate for something. And that is why they are driven to do this, to achieve certain results, to compensate.

The thing is, as we have explained many times, you are not going to grow spiritually and you are not going to heal your psychology by compensating through physical means for a lack that is a psychological lack.

Yes, it can help some people to look back and to use various forms of therapy including going into past lifetimes to resolve the trauma. And you could certainly approach it that way for yourself and you could wait until your daughter is old enough to make use of such forms of therapy. Naturally you can use for yourself these tools for discovering what subconscious self you created as a result of the trauma. There is a substantial number of the people with ADHD who are avatars and their trauma goes all the way back to the birth trauma. Again, we have given extensive teachings on this, tools for resolving it. First of all in the book Healing Your Spiritual Traumas but the other books in this series also. This you can make use of for yourself and perhaps help your daughter when she gets old enough.

What you can do at this present moment is make calls for spiritual protection for yourself and your daughter for both of you to be cut free from any ties to the astral plane and for the violet flame to consume any imperfect fear-based energies. This can help you in the short term. There are certainly people with ADHD but also people who are traumatized in general who are opening themselves up subconsciously to being influenced by lower forces. Calling for protection and being cut free can also help. But again, any condition requires the person to see something and to consciously change it. This can be difficult with younger children and that is why you may have to wait until your daughter grows up but what you can do in the meantime is use the tools to work on yourself so that you can become better equipped at helping your daughter when she is old enough to take advantage of this.

Supporting a child who self-harms

Question: Dear Masters, Why do some people self harm and what is a recommendation to help a child with such a tendency to overcome this pattern?

My 17 year old son has a development disability with autism and has recently contracted a severe bacterial infection that has scarred his nose and left facial area. He already had a tendency to pick at and pull out any scabs or partially healed wounds , but this is much worse. The infection was aggressively attacking his face and picking at it made it much worse.

As his parents we were and still are in a very challenging position and have had to restrain him for many hours in a day when in hospital and also at home by tying his hands and feet so he can go through the treatment ( keeping an IV line intact) and not pick on the partially healed wounds.

Please advise on how I can help him in this situation, so he can overcome this tendency of picking at wounds (including simple cuts and scrapes) As an ascended master student I have seen that the cause is psychological and possibly dark forces at work? but he is unable to work through it, possibly due to the mental disability. I have made many calls to the masters to help but now I’m at my wits end and not sure how to work through this with him in a practical and positive way .

Also how can I handle this in the future as I’m sure this incident will also affect his future tendencies ?

Masters have previously commented that usually dark forces are responsible for such tendencies and I wonder how I can help such as child who is almost an adult but functioning mentally at a much different level.

Is this a karmic return , or a severe outpicturing of his internal state of mind so the intense suffering may lead to some resolution ? If so, how can I as a parent support him ?

Also in general his current lifetime is filled with illnesses and surgeries and it makes us wonder what’s the reason for such a difficult life. I sense he is an evolved and /or advanced lifestream but cannot really intuit what is the purpose of his life . How can I help him be more at peace and live a happier life.

There are many challenging conditions in the material world where we do not have a simple, easy answer. This is part of the density of an unnatural planet like earth, that there are conditions that cannot be changed easily or quickly. When you are dealing with people who have these severe mental challenges, or even physical challenges, there are some times where you simply have to do what you have to do in the practical situation which is what you are describing, to prevent him from harming himself.

When you cannot talk with a person, reason with a person, put them through therapy, there is not much you can do to help them stop doing this by themselves. You can always use the decrees, call to Astrea to cut the person free, call to Archangel Michael for their protection, use the violet flame to transmute their karma, but this will not be a quick and easy solution. You already understand this when you have been going through this for so many years, and I am not going to try to give you a false hope that this can be changed. You need to recognize that it was part of your Divine Plan that you volunteered to take this on, and you need to really contemplate what you are meant to learn from it, how you can use it for growth, for yourself. And you also need to contemplate whether the way you have approached it so far is the only way it could be done, or whether you can find a way to deal with the condition that gives you more time and attention for your spiritual growth or for other aspects of life.

There are situations where people take on this very difficult situation because they have karma with the person, so there may come a point where you have balanced sufficient karma that you do not necessarily need to be in the condition for the rest of your life. There may be alternatives, depending on your individual situation. It may also be that you have chosen to sponsor a soul who is quite advanced in a spiritual sense, and who has therefore, chosen to come in with these handicaps, physical or mental, in order to avoid being pulled into active life but having more time for the inner life. There are examples of people who have reached a very high level of consciousness, but who have taken on these debilitating conditions simply to hold a balance for the earth. I am not saying this is always the case, but it is sometimes the case.

So, be practical in the immediate situation, do what has to be done to prevent a greater harm, but also consider the long-term implications, whether there is an alternative that could free you up to have more attention on other aspects of life.

Higher teachings on the growth of the I AM Presence and the Conscious You

Question: I was surprised to hear Lucifer could have become a very sophisticated ascended master during his trial in the My Lives book. I imagine most of Lucifer’s sophistication came from his experience with the duality fallen consciousness, but exactly how that translates to becoming a part of one’s spiritual essence effectively is something I would love the masters to speak of. What we store in our causal bodies literally has the power to mend or change our I AM Presence in this way.

What is stored in your causal body is the experiences that the I AM Presence has had and some of those experiences come through the Conscious You that is sent into embodiment in an unascended sphere. Other experiences are from the I AM Presence experiencing itself in the spiritual realm.

It is not like the I AM Presence is sitting up there in a coma while the Conscious You is in embodiment. The I AM Presence is interacting with other I AM Presences in the spiritual realm, with the ascended masters and it is exploring various aspects of the ascended realm, the lowest level of it.

If we look at the My Lives book, it was given at a certain time for a certain level of consciousness. We had a certain level of teachings out there and so, what you need to recognize is, that is in a sense, you could say that it is not correct to say that Lucifer – his Conscious You – could have become a sophisticated ascended master. His I AM Presence could become a sophisticated ascended master, but when the Conscious You is dissolved in the second death, this does not actually limit the I AM Presence.

In some cases, the I AM Presence wants to send another Conscious You. In fact, in most cases, the I AM Presence, when one Conscious You falls into the fallen consciousness, the I AM Presence sends at least one other Conscious You into embodiment. Some I AM Presences send more but we have not spoken about that to avoid making it too overwhelming and confusing. Some of you will know that you are not the only extension of your I AM Presence in embodiment in this unascended sphere.

The picture is much more complex in reality than even what is said in the My Lives book or even some of our teachings. We deliberately give teachings that help you rise up but does not overwhelm you and confuse you.

What you need to recognize here is that the I AM Presence grows through experience. It is an experiential being. The I AM Presence can have certain mental images, theories, and a certain understanding. But the I AM Presence does not grow through understanding. It grows through experience, or we could say it grows through comparing its understanding to experience.

Anything that the Conscious You experiences in the unascended sphere, for the I AM Presence, it does not have the coloring that it has for the Conscious You. To the I AM Presence, it is an experience and any experience can be turned into a vehicle for growth.

Whatever the Conscious You of Lucifer has gone through, the I AM Presence of that Conscious You (I am deliberately not saying the I AM Presence of Lucifer because the I AM Presence is not identifying itself as Lucifer), but that I AM Presence grows from it, because part of what you are meant to learn in an unascended sphere is the duality consciousness and the possibility of going into the state of separation.

You have to come to a point where you have explored that enough where you can voluntarily and with total peace, give it up. That is what Lucifer’s Conscious You was not willing to do but the I AM Presence was willing to do it.

Therefore, you can say that even the experiences you have in duality and separation, actually expand the experience base of the I AM Presence, and the more experiences you have the more potential for growth there is.

Now, you have to be careful here. I am not thereby saying we are recommending you go into the fallen consciousness so your I AM Presence can have more experiences. These are choices that are made at the level of the Conscious You and the choice to fall is always independent of the free will of the I AM Presence. The I AM Presence does not want the Conscious You to fall, but I am just saying that nothing is wasted.

Now you have to then look at it from another perspective. You have the I AM Presence that sends the Conscious You that becomes Lucifer. And that Conscious You goes into the fallen consciousness and it spends a very, very, very long time – even several unascended spheres time – in the fallen consciousness. But a being who fell in the fourth sphere, there were other beings in the fourth sphere who did not fall. They ascended, because they came to that point where they had seen enough of the duality consciousness so they could voluntarily give it up.

We can say yes, certainly, Lucifer’s I AM Presence can become a sophisticated ascended master because of the experiences, but another I AM Presence that ascended from the fourth sphere and has spent all this time growing in the ascended realm is still way, way, way ahead of Lucifer’s I AM Presence. In other words, this is not the ultimate way to growth or the fastest way to growth. It is a detour, but it is important to realize that nothing is wasted.

It can feel that way when we are in embodiment and you can very easily come to think: “Oh, all the mistakes you have made and all the things you have gone through and all this human nonsense – how can this possibly help your I AM Presence grow?” But it does in a certain way.

Now of course, you can say that going through a certain human experience has a certain lesson for the I AM Presence, so does that mean that going through that experience a thousand times still has a lesson for the I AM Presence and no, in most cases, it does not.

In other words, any new experience helps the I AM Presence grow, but an experience that is repeated and repeated and repeated does not lead to new growth. That is where you have to say this is for the Conscious You being allowed to outplay it is free will until the Conscious You has had enough. You might say that after one experience of human nonsense the I AM Presence has had enough of human nonsense or at least that particular form, so it is just a matter of when the Conscious You will have had enough of that form of human nonsense.

It is important for you to contemplate what we have said many times – that the fallen beings imposed a standard. And this has infused life on earth to the point where it is very easy from the unascended state to project that there are certain experiences that are productive and certain experiences that are not. The I AM Presence does not look at it that way, it is not caught up in it in that way.

Really, the I AM Presence it needs a certain amount of experiences in order to grow, and it grows through experience. And you can say, if you look at it from an overall perspective, you can say when the seventh sphere was created, there was a certain level of the energy that was denser than the previous spheres, that was determined this is the base level of this sphere.

Based on this level of energy, there is a certain amount of experiences that can be created in this sphere and we can therefore say that it can be predicted what it means to go into duality in this sphere and how far you can go into duality in this sphere. We might say, to give you an illustration, that you could say that there is this sphere and there is a line in the middle and above that are experiences you are having beyond duality, and below it are experiences in duality. Below that is like a mine that goes into the earth and has various twists and turns and this is how you can explore duality and there is a predefined limit as to how far you can go into duality in this sphere.

What you can say is from an overall perspective, in order for the sphere to ascend, some beings will have to explore all of the twists and turns in the duality consciousness, how far they can go into separation. Somebody has to explore that in order for the sphere to be complete. Now, this does not mean it is predestined who is going to go into duality. This is a choice made by the Conscious You, but from an overall perspective of the learning process of the sphere, even the ascended masters who created the sphere, this needs to be explored and someone needs to experience it in order for the entire process of creating this sphere to be completed.

I know this raises some perspectives, that can take some contemplation to wrap your minds around and there may be further teachings we will give on this at a certain point. But the main thing I want to say here is that if you are looking at the process through the standard created by the fallen beings, you cannot grasp how it looks from the ascended state where we do not look at it with this evaluation of right and wrong, good and bad, should happen, should not happen.

The Golden Age changes in the U.S. political system

Question: Saint Germain prophesied that one day the USA will split into five regions, but will apparently remain one country, like the United States of America. Could you please elaborate whether the USA would then, one, resemble the EU in the structure of cooperation between the regions, or whether it would still be a centralized federation? And if so, whether it will retain the presidential system, which is executive controlled, or will switch to a parliamentary democracy with a clear separation of powers, that guarantees the independence of the judiciary and prosecutors as two state organs, two state organs in a third branch of state power, like in most European countries. And finally, whether it would move away from the tenor of an egotistical, individualistic, neo-conservative liberalism, and become more of a social democracy with a caring governmental system.

Well, there are naturally changes that will happen in the United States as we move into the golden age. It is not impossible that there could be the formation of certain regions, of states that feel they are more aligned politically, but I certainly do not desire to see and do not envision that this will break up the unity of the country. The strength of the United States is the ‘united’, not the states.

You already have a separation of powers, and a balance of powers. But it is clear that in the golden age, the president will have less powers than today, and will be more like a prime minister in many European countries. There will also, at some point, come a point where the Senate will be abandoned, and there will be only one parliament. There will also come a point where the two-party system will be abandoned, and there will either be more parties, or there will eventually come a situation where there are no parties, where the members of the parliament simply vote their conscience.

There are many changes that can happen. Certainly, neoliberalism will gradually fade away, and there will be, in the United States, in the golden age, much more of a social awareness like you already see in some European nations, especially in Northern Europe.

It is clear that this is not to say that what you see in Europe is particularly European. It is universal, and it is part of the golden age mindset. In the golden age, there will be much more of what we call the basic humanity, where people will see that we need to take care of each other. Therefore, there needs to be public health care, some social safety net, public pensions. You cannot allow these things to be driven by commercial interests. This is not something that is particularly European. It is just universal values.

It is clear that one of the main things that will happen as we move further into the golden age is that there will be a raised awareness of the power elite and their manipulation. And it will be seen as the role of a democratically elected government to protect the people from exploitation by the elite, as I have talked about several times.

And exactly how that is done will vary from the United States to Europe or other parts of the world. But it will be done. It will be done as part of the golden age. And exactly when and exactly how will be a matter of individual differences. And quite frankly, the United States will probably be one of the last countries to really take serious measures to limit the power elite. But it will happen.

Relationships where partners choose not to live together

Question: There are relationships where the partners choose not to live together and only meet occasionally, keeping a certain distance while still being committed to each other. And it can be because they cannot meet at all levels and have a lifelong relationship. I am confused if such relationships can be helpful in certain situations for certain times, if it is done with non-attachment, or are they mostly detrimental to one’s spiritual growth and may even block a spiritual partner later on. Do they represent a flexible middle way or is it just an ego game that leads nowhere?

Well, you have to realize that when you ask questions like this, there is no one answer to it because it is very individual. For some people, it can be an ego game. For other people, it can be a viable way to have a relationship. But this is very individual, depending on people’s lifes plan.

There can be people who decide to have this kind of relationship, whatever you want to call it, where they do not live together, and it can be right for them. But there can be others that do it to escape dealing with certain things in their psychology that are brought up by a more close relationship. And in that case, of course, it is not constructive.

There can also be others who do this as a matter of convenience, but it blocks them from finding a deeper relationship. You see, in a sense, the answer to your questions are all of the above, depending on where people are at in consciousness. It is clear that in the golden age, there will be more flexibility in relationships. And there may be some people who will choose not to live together. But, on the other hand, they will not choose this because they want to avoid working on their psychology.

In the golden age, people will not do this as a form of escape from the normal responsibilities, where they have a relationship that has the advantages they want in a relationship, for many sex, and without the commitment. This will not be the case in the golden age, because that does not lead to maximum growth.

There are certainly people who have these kind of relationships who are slowing down their growth, and there are others where it does not slow down their growth.

The psychology of an ascended master

Question: We have asked so many questions about our human condition and how to change it. I would like to know something about the psychology of ascended beings. How do they usually live? What do they usually do if they are not working with mankind? And most of all, how can they be anywhere at once in multiple places and instantly know all things they wish to know? Is this all done by the quality of oneness and are there several states or degrees of oneness?

Well, the difficulty that we all recognized when we were in embodiment is that you cannot actually from the unascended state imagine or tune into what it is to be in the ascended state. Because what you will do is you will take your present level of consciousness, whatever that is, you will create mental images of what it means to be ascended and project that upon us.

And in order to ascend you stop projecting mental images based on conditions on earth. You have, as we have said before, the angry judgmental God in the sky is actually the fallen beings who are angry and judgmental, creating that mental image and projecting that this is how God is.

What I am saying here is that your question cannot actually be answered with words. It is not actually meaningful to try and answer it in words because whatever words I put on it will trigger mental images based on your present level of consciousness. And you will then think that you know something about the psychology of an ascended master. But you do not. You can only experience it. You cannot formulate a mental image from the unascended state.

But there are of course things we can say. And what we can say is that when you ascend from a planet like earth, you are, so to speak, the lowest level of ascended masters. We have explained the different spheres and that there are ascended beings in the sixth, the fifth, the fourth, the third, the second and the first sphere.

And the higher you go in the spheres, the higher level of consciousness they have. The higher level of oneness with the Creator they have. There are ascended masters in the first sphere that are so beyond my level that I cannot imagine or envision how their consciousness, their psychology is. I can sometimes tune in and get a glimpse of it. But still, I cannot experience it fully.

It actually is not correct to say that a newly ascended master is everywhere at once and can know all things instantly. You are not everywhere at once. I know there have been some in previous dispensations like “I am everywhere in the consciousness of God”. But that is an experience you are having for a brief moment. And it is actually an experience that is in contrast to your experience on earth. This is one of the difficulties that many spiritual people have when they start having spiritual experiences.

The experiences can be genuine, but it does not mean that it is an ultimate experience. You can have the experience that your consciousness is so expanded compared to what it was when you were in embodiment that you exclaim, as Lanello did: “I am everywhere in the consciousness of God.”

But he was not literally everywhere in the consciousness of God. It just felt that way compared to being unascended. Now, there is a reality there in the sense that once you are ascended, you realize you can go anywhere in the consciousness of God. But you cannot go everywhere at the same time. Because an ascended master still has an individual self that is focused in a particular point. You might say that creation is made up of all of these individual beings who have an individual sense of self.

You are sitting here in a particular body on earth. And this is the vantage point from which you are looking at the universe. I am in the ascended state, but I am still an individual being who is looking at the universe from this particular vantage point. I have a much broader view than you have from the unascended state, but I am still looking at the ascended realm from this particular viewpoint.

I know that if I decide to go somewhere, I can apply myself, go through the initiations to reach a higher level of consciousness. I can even work my way up to the first sphere. But it does not mean that I can be everywhere at once. It does not mean that I can know everything. Only the Creator knows everything there is to know in this world of form. But our Creator does not know everything there is to know in other worlds of form or in the Allness.

You have to be careful there, not that you do take the linear mind and think that it means that we can be everywhere at once. We cannot. Now, from the ascended realm, I have, of course, the ability to tune in. I can go up through the hierarchy, the lineage that I am out of, of ascended masters. And I can, at least for a brief moment, tune into someone who is at a higher level than I am at, and I can experience their vantage point. But I cannot do it with many masters at once. There is always a certain focal point. You are focused as an individual being. It is only the Creator that has the omnipresent awareness. But as I said, even the Creator’s omnipresent awareness is only omnipresent in this world of form.

Now, the Creator can go beyond this world of form. It can go into the Allness. But of course, in order to do that, it would have to leave its creation, which means its creation would collapse and disappear. The Creator is not going to do this. You have to be careful that you do not imagine what you might call super human abilities or God-like abilities. An ascended master is not a God, the way that the fallen beings have created the sense of an ultimate God. We are one step up from earth, and some are many steps up from earth, but we are still individual beings.

In terms of psychology, again, you cannot really take human psychology and compare it to the ascended state, but we all have an individuality. From your vantage point of being unascended, it can seem like when you overcome the ego and connect to the pure awareness, you can have the experience that you have no personality. It is a common experience that you go through a phase where you have started to disidentify the ego. You may not have overcome it completely, but you can have this experience of the pure awareness where it feels like you have no individuality and no human opinion, human personality. But that is again an experience in contrast to what you experience from inside the four lower bodies. Because as the next step, obviously, of course, you connect to the individuality of the I AM Presence.

In the I AM Presence is the original individuality that you were given by your spiritual parents, the ascended masters who created your I AM Presence. But also, what you and the Presence have added to that by you being in embodiment, by the Presence having the experiences it has had.

When you ascend, the I AM Presence simply continues from whatever point it was on. And it continues to develop that individuality. It continues to grow in awareness. And we might call it a certain attainment that you have as an ascended master because all ascended masters do not have the same power, do not have the same wisdom and insight.

But again, we are not in the state of separation, so it is not a limitation for us. It is just that even ascended masters are not all growing at the same level or at the same speed. There is, of course, individual differences. What you might say is that we gain by ascending certain freedoms compared to what you have on earth. For example, we can leave this planet behind. We can go wherever we want in this lowest level of the ascended realm. We can choose to leave it behind if we want, whereas you obviously cannot do that while you are still in embodiment.

That gives us a certain freedom, but it does not mean that I could, for example, instantly choose to go to the central sun or the first sphere. I would have to work my way up through all of the many levels in between, gradually increasing my sense of self, my individuality, my awareness, my attainment in using spiritual light to serve the whole.

What happens if an avatar decides to stay in embodiment

Question: Dear Masters, it has been stated that many avatars decided to remain incarnated so to help bring in Saint Germain’s golden age, although they might qualify for their ascension. In this case, do they willingly avoid seeing certain illusions in order to halt their spiritual growth towards the 144th level of consciousness?

You cannot willingly avoid seeing an illusion because if you are aware that the illusion is an illusion, you cannot decide to avoid it. When you see it is an illusion, you see it is an illusion.

But what you need to recognize here is that at the higher levels of consciousness, towards the 144th level, the illusions you took on there were not dualistic illusions. They were just illusions that actually related to being in embodiment on earth. We can say, as we have mentioned before, that there are necessary illusions. You need to take these on in order to take embodiment. If you decide that you want to stay in embodiment there is a certain level you go to—and it is around the 120th level of consciousness—and you then do not even look for these illusions because you have accepted that you are going to stay in embodiment, you are not pursuing the ascension.

What you can strive to do is to reach that level so that you are not as identified with the body or the four lower bodies. And therefore, you can be the open door, you can be yourself, you can be in peace. And therefore, you can stay in embodiment and these illusions do not hinder your work because they are simply related to integrating the Conscious You with the physical body so that you can actually accept that you are in a body and you can operate the body.

It is more constructive to think of it that way, that these are not really illusions that prevent you from being the open door in embodiment. They are just illusions that need to be overcome in order to ascend. If you decide to stay in embodiment but you have reached that level, then it is not hindering what you are here to do. Because obviously you need to be in embodiment to do something on earth.

And these illusions just keep you tied to that physical body, not necessarily the one you have now, but also the ones you take on in future lifetimes.

Predictions of the Jehovah’s Witnesses

Question: The Jehovah’s Witnesses have predicted that 1914 would be a critical year based on some math they came up with in the Bible. I understand from the “My Lives…” book why 1914 was such a tumultuous year, but is there any validity to the math the Jehovah’s Witnesses came up with?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2024 Chicago Conference.

There is no validity to this. There really is no validity to this or many other people who have looked at the Bible and tried to come up with math or quotes or this or that. It is pure fantasy to think that you can look at the Bible as old of a text as it is, as it was created over so many lifetimes by so many different people, how it has been transcribed, there have been transcription errors, there have been translation errors, and now you take this book that was originally given in a completely different language, you look at it in English translation, and you try to come up with some code or math that supposedly says something about the future. It is simply a completely unrealistic scenario that I encourage spiritual people to not spend your time and energy and attention on. It is a fruitless endeavor.

The future is, as we have said so many times, not set in stone. It cannot be predicted, certainly not by something that was written down thousands of years ago. You know if you look at science, that classical physics believed the universe was deterministic, you know that quantum physics has shown that you cannot predict anything with certainty, you can only predict probabilities. What we have told you about free will validates the quantum mechanical view. You live in a probabilistic universe. Yes, you can look at certain trends that are happening right now, and you can say there is a certain probability that certain things will happen, but the further you go into the future, the lower the probability becomes that you can predict it, because it shifts all the time as the collective consciousness is shifting. And as you know from what the Buddha has mentioned about the interdependent originations, the consciousness is constantly shifting, and the entire equation shifts constantly.

That is why we have basically almost stopped giving any kind of prophecies, because everything is changing very, very quickly in these years. This is partly because we moved into the Aquarian Age, partly because so many people around the world are open to new ideas, even spiritual ideas, whether they know about ascended masters or not. Many people are seeking to work on their psychology, raise their consciousness, and the equation of the collective consciousness is shifting very, very quickly, and therefore, it is a fool’s errand to think you can predict anything. Even for us who can look at the situation right now, it is difficult to predict.

But to think that something that was written down by people in a completely different state of consciousness thousands of years ago, that this has some predictive power, is just simply a complete waste of your opportunity to be alive, because there are so many other things you could be focusing your attention on, and it can only be people who have given up all willingness to look at themselves, and to actually look at what is the message in the Bible, especially my teachings. As fragmented, as incomplete as they are, there are still messages that can be learned, but if you are trying to come up with something like this, you are demonstrating you are not a Christian. You are not in any way willing to look at my message and look at what it actually means. You have completely perverted my teachings, you have completely gone into a blind alley, and I am telling you, if anybody would ever listen to this, that you will deeply regret this after this lifetime, deeply regret it. Because I have seen so many people, not only Jehovah’s Witnesses, but others of these close-minded Christian groups who, when they go out of embodiment, and they see what they actually did, how they closed their minds, how they missed the opportunity, they have the deepest regret of this.

Venezuela after the 2024 presidential election

Question: Can democracy be saved in present-day Venezuela? How bad was the corruption this past week in the elections that just took place there? What can we do about it? What would you recommend the US do to alleviate Maduro’s stranglehold over the election process?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2024 Chicago Conference.

In terms of what you can do about it, if you mean the spiritual people, you can, of course, make the calls if you feel that you have some affiliation with Venezuela or any other country. You can make the calls, but you are up against the fact that the majority of the people are still in a lower state of consciousness, a divided state of consciousness and therefore, it is too easy for the fallen beings to manipulate the situation.

Obviously there was corruption, obviously it was not a fair election, but nevertheless it was still a reflection of the division in the collective consciousness. And until that division is resolved, there is not that much that can realistically be done by you making the calls or by us answering the calls, because we, of course, do not go against free will. This goes for many countries around the world that have had these dictatorial leaders that have undermined democracy. The people simply have to come to a point where a majority of them decide that they want a different country, but in order to do that they have to take responsibility for themselves and their country. And if they are not ready to do that, they will remain divided and the dark forces will always take advantage of that.

In terms of what the US can do, nothing. Just take care of your own country and your own election process first, so you do not have another chaotic situation after this coming election. Make sure that everything is monitored, so you cannot raise legitimate questions about it. You really could not raise legitimate questions last time, but you saw that that did not stop certain people. You need to make it even more fair, more monitored, have more monitors of the election process this time.
