South Korea after Presidential Election in 2022

Question: Dear Saint Germain, this question is for Korea.There was Presidential Election in March 2022 and local election in June 2022. Through these two elections, the power of leadership in Korea was changed to the conservative party, People Power Party from the progressive party, the Democratic Party of Korea. The power of National assembly still remains to the Democratic Party of Korea. Yoon Suk-yeol elected president of S. Korea. Yoon Suk-yeol, a former chief prosecutor and political neophyte, was elected the next leader of South Korea on March 9, 2022 in one of the closest presidential elections in the country’s history. After a tight race, Yoon took the win by a fine margin. Yoon and his party gained 48.56% the vote, 0.73% higher than the ruling party candidate Lee Jae-myeong, who received 47.83%. Even though we put some efforts for not power elite, seems that the collective consciousness of Korea wanted to change from the existing leadership. Many issues for the candidates were outcome during the election. My observation is that old generation (over 60 and 70 years) voted to the conservative party overwhelmingly (about 65 to 70%) from their limited news. However, we much worry about for new president leadership like somewhat dictatorship through the power of prosecutors and the relationship with North Korea. North Korea is trying to go their own way with launching missiles continuously and nuclear test plan.

How do you see the current situation in Korea? And what can Korean students do?

You will see that in many democratic nations, there has for some time been this tendency for the formation of two political parties that often are in opposition to each other. You see that there is often this tendency where one political party is elected and comes to power and then in the next election they lose power and the other political party takes over. There is this going back and forth, and this is actually because these nations are at a point where they are ready to step up to a higher level, but they have not done it yet. They are still stuck in the old approach to politics that creates these polarizations into two sides or two blocs, even if there are more political parties, there can still be two blocs. What you actually see is that the nation has not made a decisive shift yet and that is why they go back and forth.

This is not something that as ascended master students you need to worry too much about. It is not an epic difference, whether it is this party or that party that is elected in most countries. What you need to do as students in South Korea is simply continue to do the good work that you have been doing, giving the invocations and the decrees, having your activities, having your meetings, and you will slowly raise the collective consciousness until there can be a shift. You will realize, of course, that we have given you certain goals in Korea, possibly the reunification of Korea as well, but this of course is not something that necessarily will happen in the short term. It could, potentially, but it is more likely to take some time.

You need to take more of a long view, and not be overly concerned about whether it is this party or that party that is ruling or this person or that person who is president. Even if you have a relatively inexperienced person as president, it is still an opportunity for the people to see, does this actually work? What kind of leadership do we want?

You need to recognize that you have a large group of students in Korea, you have built a very good momentum and it is having an impact, it may not have the outer impact that you would like to see in the short term, but it is having an impact, it is shifting the collective consciousness and you simply need to be happy with the efforts you are giving and continue to do so without being too concerned about whether this or that outer result manifests.

The same, of course, applies to students in other nations. You need to take a long view and realize that there is some distance between where the world is at now and where it will be in the golden age. There will be somewhat of a process, there will also of necessity be certain shifts that are more dramatic, but you are looking at the long-term perspective and you are working, in an ideal situation, to have a gradual evolution that gradually brings a nation forward without too many dramatic revolutionary events. Sometimes it is necessary with more of a revolutionary leap, but this is not something you are attached to, whether it happens or not.

The self-centred quest for truth

Question: I see that there are multibillionaires like Elon Musk, who talked about wanting to know truth and reality. For example, Elon Musk says he wants to know things as they are. Are these type of beings fallen or moving out of the falling mindset?

You need to realize here, again, that what I said in the previous answer applies here. Some people are not fallen beings but have elements of the fallen consciousness. You even have some fallen beings who say that they want truth, they want to know things as they really are.

But do they really? Are they neutral? Or do they have, again, a very self-centered focus, a very self-centered motivation? Why do they want to know things as they are? Is it because they want to then state this, and promote this, so they can set themselves up as the ones who promote a truth and help people our societies come to a recognition of how things really are? Is there a self-centered motivation behind this? And if there is, it is very simple, they cannot know reality as it really is, because how do you know reality? Only by going into a neutral state of mind, and you cannot go into a neutral state of mind if you have this unbalanced focus on yourself and this ambition of promoting yourself.

Many, of course have had this, they are examples of this, and many gurus in today’s world that have this ambition. They tune in to some kind of beings in the mental realm that give them all kinds of fancy teachings, and then they come out and present that this is the ultimate truth that nobody else has ever had before. Again, self-centered, promoting themselves, and you cannot open yourself to the ascended masters with this mindset, and therefore how can you know things as they really are? Because only through the Christ consciousness can you know things as they really are.

Elon Musk and the fallen consciousness

Question: Is Elon Musk a fallen being, as he is known to be the richest man on earth, but he also helped bring electric cars? He sounds like he is defending free speech, etc., which is part of democracy and free will. He does not sound like a fallen being but there may be other aspects of his personality that are fallen, maybe.

We are quite selective in how we answer questions like this, we are quite selective in who we call a fallen being or not. What I would say in this case is that there are many people, and Elon Musk is one example, who from past lives have elements of the fallen consciousness. They have not fallen in a previous sphere but they have taken in elements of the fallen consciousness. And this causes them to become very self-centered, very self-focused, so that they have the drive to build a business, to acquire these riches, they have the drive to be seen as important people who can bring progress, and so forth.

Now, if you look at world history, you see that there have been many, many ambitious people in the world and they have not all been fallen beings. But they have often been very self-centered, very narcissistic, and had very little empathy for other people. And they have been very focused on bringing something but their motivation has been to elevate themselves to be seen as special people. This does not mean that we have not been able to use them to bring forth certain ideas and inventions. But they have been very self-focused, very motivated by the building a certain image of themselves or leaving a certain legacy, and this is what has driven them.

They can still, as I said, be used as instruments for bringing positive change. But in many cases, of course, they have also become instruments for bringing negative change. This is clearly a mixed bag. And one of the things you can look at with people like this is: How do they treat the people in their companies, their own employees, how do they treat them? Do they treat them well? Do they pay them as little as possible? Do they make unreasonable demands of loyalty? And other things like this. How do they treat people in general? Are they seeking to help people? Are they seeking to create a change that will make themselves famous? Is it all centered on themselves?

This does not again mean that they are necessarily fallen beings, but they certainly have been affected by the fallen consciousness, where they have, in many cases, been inspired by certain people who were fallen beings. And they have come to admire these people, seeing them as an ideal, as an idol, as an inspiration, and saying: “I want that as well.”

Can beings in the spiritual realm fall into duality?

Question: In Maitreya’s book there are references to beings who fell from the spiritual realm. I am confused how beings in the spiritual could enter the duality consciousness and fall.

This is a misunderstanding because what Maitreya talks about is not the spiritual realm but previous spheres. Maitreya’s book introduces the concept of the previous spheres. And actually, part of the purpose of Maitreya’s book is to give a higher teaching that can resolve a question that was sort of lingering from, for example, the Summit Lighthouse teachings, where there was not the concept of previous spheres. And you have also in the Book of Revelation, there was a war in heaven and Michael and his angels fought the dragon, and the dragon prevailed not and was cast out of heaven, and so forth.

The Summit Lighthouse kind of built on this idea that the fallen beings were angels who had fallen in the spiritual realm. And you are perfectly right, how can a being in the spiritual realm go into duality and fall? It is very difficult to conceive of, because you have a direct experience of God and of oneness. Maitreya’s book is meant to resolve that by explaining that there were previous spheres that had not yet ascended and that is where these beings fell.

It was just that in the Summit Lighthouse, for example, there was like there is in the Bible, there are human beings and there are angels. And apart from God and ascended masters, there were not any other beings there. What you have in Maitreya’s book is a much broader teaching that shows that there were previous spheres where beings fell. You can see that in some of the earlier teachings given through me, they were still using the concept of fallen angels but they stopped using that at some point. I think, actually, it was in Maitreya’s book, and they started talking about fallen beings instead.

Mental and physical burnout

Question: Many people suffer burnouts. As a result, they have diminished mental, emotional and physical abilities, often for years. What led them to abuse their bodies in that manner? And are there spiritual recommendations for the healing of the condition?

Well, there can be many reasons why people go to this extreme. It is not necessarily just the body that burns out but certainly also the mind. In many cases it is because people get caught up in outer situations where they feel they have to work towards a specific outcome. They have to, for example, have a certain career, they have a demanding job, and they have to fulfill the requirements of that job. They stopped listening to their bodies or to their minds or to their spouses or their families, and they are so focused on the goal that they believe the ends of neglecting everything else can justify meeting that goal. This can lead people to this unbalanced state where they cannot do it anymore.

There are of course many things you can do to heal this, you can first of all shift your mind and say: “Well, if I have gotten myself into this state, then I need to see it as a spiritual opportunity, as an opportunity for spiritual growth, for healing. I need to take some time out, reconsider what are my important goals in life. And then I use the tools for spiritual healing that the masters have given.” Again, Healing your Spiritual Traumas, but really many of our books including my course on abundance, can be very helpful for healing these kinds of traumas.

Are there any harmless seasonings?

Question: Are seasonings like MSG as harmful as sugar? Are there any harmless seasonings?

Well, if you want a general rule of thumb, I would say that any substance, any kind of food, or any kind of drug that stimulates the brain is something to avoid, if you want maximum spiritual growth. You can look at seasonings that do not stimulate the brain. And they will in most cases be acceptable to use. That can of course be individual differences where your stomach, for example, cannot handle certain seasonings. But nevertheless, that is something you need to tune into individually. In general, I recommend avoiding substances that stimulate the brain.

New series of books on Christhood?

Question: Do the masters plan to release another series of books similar to the ones by the Chohans to take people from the 96th level to the 144th level?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2022 Webinar – Democracy and Christhood.

Well, we have already released the Healing your Spiritual Traumas and the other books in the avatar revelation series, including of course the My Lives book. And we have the Master Keys to Personal Christhood, Master Keys to Personal Freedom, the Course on Abundance, and other books that you can take when you have finished the Chohan’s course. I know some of those were released before the Chohan’s books but nevertheless, they are meant for people who are at a higher level of consciousness.

We may, of course, at some point decide to release more books. But you have to realize that when you go above the 96th level, the process of growth is not quite as linear. In other words, it is still helpful for you to realize that there are 144 levels, you have quite a number of levels above the 96th level. But still, it is not quite as linear of a process, you actually do more parallel, it is more difficult to set a step by step process and say: this is the 96th, this is the 98th, this is the 99th and so on. But nevertheless, we will, as time moves on, consider releasing other books that can be helpful to people.

How to become a messenger for the ascended masters

Question: I have been feeling that it is in my divine plan to become a messenger for the ascended masters in some way. I know my next step is to become more balanced through physical health. But would the masters like to comment on any other tips that could accelerate my growth in this direction?

I know we sometimes sound like a broken record but the key is to heal your psychology. And that is what the books Healing your Spiritual Traumas and the others in that series are all about. Use these books, use the Chohan books if you have not already done so. And generally use all of our books and teachings to focus on healing your psychology. This will increase your intuition, your inner clarity, your inner peace, and therefore give you the intuitive directions that you need.

You need to recognize a very simple fact here. This messenger has, over the years he has been a messenger, met various people who came to him and wanted him to validate them as messengers, to give them an outer confirmation that they really were meant to be messengers. And he has always refused to do so for the simple reason: What is a messenger? It is a messenger like this messenger who takes dictations or a messenger who receives ideas from us. A messenger is a person who can tune into the ascended masters inside his or her own mind and received something from the ascended masters.

How can somebody else validate you as a messenger? How can somebody else tell you that you are a messenger or not? It needs to come from within. It must come as intuitive impressions that you get. And you get those by calming your mind, purifying your mind, healing your psychology. When your mind is open, when you are in a neutral frame of mind, then you can receive from our octave.

Who makes our divine plan?

Question: Which self decides the divine plan? Is it our I Am Presence?

It is primarily the Conscious You. Now, the Conscious You when it is in between embodiments is not as blinded by the four lower bodies, the contents of the four lower bodies, so you have more of a connection to your I Am Presence. But the I Am Presence does not make the decision. It can give you a perspective, it can give you what we might call recommendations, although they are not in a verbal form, it just gives you impressions. And then you decide as the Conscious You. You of course have spiritual counsellors, ascended masters who are working with you, you have your Christ self. You can get feedback in this way. But in the end, you, the Conscious You, makes the decision.

Seeing new opportunities vs. cultural expectations

Question: On the fifth level of Saint Germain’s initiations of freedom, the lesson is invoking the vision of how I co-create. The invocation says I was brought up to take on certain things from my family, from my surroundings, from my society. There are certain things where it is not that I deliberately consider them impossible, I just do not consider them possible. I do not even think about them as being possible. And the people around me do not think about this as being a possibility. I am sure that many of us, even after studying this lesson, are not considering many of the opportunities that could be available to us. Could Saint Germain expand on this and give us some tips to open ourselves to opportunities that we may currently be blocking?

Well, obviously, you can study the lesson again and again, you can give the invocation, and wait until something clicks in your mind. But you can also, of course, take a look at your family background, your society – what were the expectations that people had? What was the image they had or what was considered a normal and acceptable life in your family and culture? What are the other people in your family doing or not doing? What do they think is impossible for you?

For example, you may have grown up in a family where everybody has been used to going out and finding a job, and where hardly anyone has started their own business or gotten a higher education. There will then be an almost unconscious expectation that “this is what we do in our family. We do not start a business. We do not get an education, we just go out and find a job or whatever is available in our area”. You may also have an expectation or a culture, in many cases, where “we do not move from our hometown. This is our town, this is where we were born. This is where our whole family has lived their whole lives. This is where all the people we know and care about are. We cannot possibly move from this town, let alone move from the country”. You can begin to identify these, perhaps even write them down and then it is not that you deliberately need to go against them but you need to shift your mind so you become neutral. Should you necessarily follow what your family has been doing or should you do something different?

If this messenger had followed what his family was doing, he would not have moved to the United States. Therefore, he would not have had the accelerated growth he had there, and he would not have become ready to be a messenger for us. It can be necessary for you when you are a spiritual person who has a divine plan to do something different than what your family is doing. But you should not decide this with your outer mind. You should work with your outer mind to overcome these expectations and these images of how you are supposed to live. Go into a neutral state of mind, and then wait for direction to come from within or perhaps a physical opportunity opens up that your family would not have taken, but then you can take it and see where it leads you.

Answers from within vs. answers from without

Question: The first question is, beloved ascended masters, please tell me if it is possible for a disciple of the ascended masters to consult an astrologer to find out my predestination in life, and whether I have a husband in my divine plan, because I do not know how I can hear the answers directly from the masters.

Well, in a previous dispensation, we did talk somewhat about astrology and many people did go to astrologers. But, in this dispensation we have chosen simply not to talk about the issue because we believe that with the teachings we are giving today, you will be able to raise yourself above the need, where you need astrologers or other kinds of outer guidance like this.

Now, if you feel you cannot hear the masters, then use the tools we have given to heal your psychology, especially the birth trauma in the Healing your Spiritual Traumas book and the other books in the series. And you can of course, if you want to consult an astrologer, you have free will, we are not saying that you should not. But what is an astrologer going to tell you? And even if the astrologer says yes, you have a husband in your divine plan, how will that help you find that husband?

You need to simply look at your own psychology. It would be more constructive to do so, and to see how you can heal your psychology of any attitudes that block you from finding a partner in life. This involves looking at your attitude towards relationships, and seeing whether you have some unrealistic expectations that it would be impossible for someone to fill. Again, the key really to any improvement is the healing of psychology, and consulting an astrologer or getting another answer from without is not going to help you heal your psychology.

Why we have so difficult lives in this embodiment

Question: Mother Mary, you mentioned in one of your dictations that many of us in this group have had very difficult lives in this embodiment. Could you elaborate on the reason for this? Is it because we would need to remember to connect to our I Am Presence or to the ascended masters for guidance, and for remembering our divine plan? You also mentioned that many of us have embodied with those who caused our birth trauma. Can you talk a little more about this as well?

Well, the primary reason is really, that many of you want this to be either your last embodiment or one of the last embodiments. You have decided that you want to make as much progress as possible. This means that you determine that you will not shy away from difficulties, you will not seek to have a comfortable, easy life, you want maximum growth. This means, among some other things, that you embody with people with whom you may have karma, or who have a psychology that might clash with your own, so you have an opportunity to look at your own psychology. It may also be that you want to help certain people—give them another opportunity.

For many of you, you have also put yourself in certain situations in order to force yourself to deal with your own psychology. In other words, you can see when you are making your divine plan, you look back at your past lives, you can see there are certain lessons you have not learned. And the reason you have not learned those lessons is that before you come into embodiment, you can have the best of intentions and put this in your divine plan that you want to overcome this aspect of your psychology. But when you come down in the density of the four lower bodies in the physical octave, you forget this. You have a tendency to refuse to look at this psychology, to run away from the confrontation with it, and try to have a comfortable life.

This time, you have decided you want to put yourself in a situation that is so difficult that you cannot ignore this reaction in yourself. You cannot ignore the need to look at your reactionary patterns and overcome them. What you can do here is you can take our books, Healing Your Spiritual Traumas, and the others, even the My Lives book, and you can look at your psychology, you can look at your reactions in this lifetime and say: “What is it I wanted to resolve in my psychology in this lifetime that has caused me to be confronted with the same situations over and over again? It must be because I have not learned a lesson. Otherwise, I would not continue to attract these situations. So now I want to know, and I am going to use these tools, study these books until I have the direction from within.” You can of course ask me or another ascended master you are close to, but use the books, study them. Wait for this inner epiphany, use the invocations. But first of all be willing to look at yourself and your own reactionary patterns.

Economic forecast 2022 and beyond

Question: Beloved Saint Germain, what will happen to the economy in the near future? According to some journalists, the worst is still to come due to the central banks being unable to mitigate soaring inflation by raising interest rates. It seems that the central banks are stuck between a rock and a hard spot and nobody knows what exactly will happen. Could you please give us some insight of what will most probably happen?

Well, in the short-term inflation will continue to go up. This is not just because of the inability of central banks to stop it via interest rates. It is also because after the corona pandemic, there is a pent-up demand that is causing prices to rise according to some supply and demand.

However, much of the inflation you see is actually driven by speculation. Especially commodities and oil prices are driven by speculators who have seen the opportunity to make a huge profit out of the growing demand by creating an artificial shortage. What will happen, most likely in the near future, is that there will come a point where economic growth will start to stagnate and the world will go into a recession, which will then bring prices down again because demand will decrease. In the best-case scenario, this recession will not last too long. But in a worst-case scenario, it could lead to a deflation, where prices go down.

The real underlying issues behind the economy are basically three things:

First of all, there is the exploitation of the economy by the financial elite through financial instruments that do not contribute to the natural economy by providing products or services. They siphon money away from the population, and from the businesses who are providing goods and services. This is one issue that needs to be addressed.

The other issue is the money system itself, the creation of money through debt, which has reached a point where it just is not sustainable anymore. And this is partly a matter of creating a sound money system that is not based on debt. You could say this is the second issue, the creation of a money system that is not debt based.

But the third issue then, is the debt in itself, where people, companies and governments, nations have incurred such huge debt, that it just is not sustainable. Even the interest payments are threatening the economies of many nations, businesses and people. There will come a point where a growing number of people—economists, politicians, journalists, and so forth—will become aware that the world faces a simple choice. Either the economy completely crashes, and the entire financial system crashes because of debt, speculation, and so on. Or the democratic governments fulfill their responsibility to create a truly democratic economy, a free economy with equal opportunity for all that cannot be exploited by the power elite.

Even the power elite will begin to see that they can either choose to nullify some of the debt, or maintain the debt and demand payment of it, where they can cause the economy to crash so they will never get any more payments. There simply needs to come this awareness that the debt has reached such a level where the only way out is to nullify the debt, maybe not all debt, but certainly much of the debt.

You can see in the United States where the national debt has reached truly astronomical levels. And there needs to be some awareness and a movement of people saying: “Where are we borrowing this money? Who is lending it to us? To whom do we owe the money?” And it needs to be this awareness that: “Yes, we owe it to some big national banks, even some multinational banks. But shouldn’t these companies, these corporations, be American corporations? Why have we created this debt-based money system where the government needs to borrow money from private institutions, and the taxpayers are paying interest to these private institutions? Why are we not doing what it says in the Constitution, that only Congress has the power to print money? Why are we not printing money directly, instead of borrowing it from private banks that make a profit? Why are we allowing this kind of money system? Why are we allowing the Federal Reserve to run the economy?”

And other nations can of course, have different institutions, but nevertheless, debt-based money is a problem everywhere. The question is when this awareness will be there, whether it will happen in time to prevent a crash, or whether there will have to be another crash as severe as 2008 or 1929 in order for people to realize that you cannot have a democratic nation that has an anti-democratic financial system.

Mineral traces of ancient civilisations

Question: Are the ancient ruins in many parts of the world mainly stone, which some in our civilization consider impossible to create with current technology as a result of the densification of matter? Meaning that the hard stone would have been somewhat less dense, perhaps like wood, so it could have been worked with like tools of our current time. It was also said that most of the rock formations were created by past ancient civilizations and the ancient stone buildings are just sophisticated composites and not naturally occurring stones or rocks. Could the masters comment?

Well, there are many ramifications of what we have said—that matter has been densified along with the lowering of the collective consciousness. And it is correct that in a time when matter was less dense, it was easier to form the matter that existed at the time. But it still does not mean that the Egyptians used exclusively the tools that your civilization knows today, that they had at the time. They had more sophisticated methods for carving the stone than are known by modern technology. They also used the power of sound to move these heavy stone blocks.

Now, if you go further back beyond the Egyptian civilization, it is true that it was easier to carve stone, as you would call it today, because it was not as dense. It is not so that all stone formations were buildings in previous civilizations that have now turned to stone. But it is so that there are many of the minerals you see today that are not naturally occurring and were not the result of a geological process. They were man-made in previous civilizations.

We have said before that, not so long ago, there was a very thick ice cover over the island of Manhattan that is today covered by huge concrete buildings. If you imagine again, an ice age where the ice moves down, and a thick ice cover moves back and forth over the island of Manhattan, the present buildings would be ground to dust, or at least to smaller particles. If there was a future civilization that believed they were the first civilization on earth, they might discover some of this powder that was created by the ice from the buildings, and they might think it was a naturally occurring mineral. And the same is the case with present civilization.

The Planck constant

Question: The Masters have commented quite a few times that the earth is a virtual reality simulator. Could it be said that the Planck constant is the refresh rate of the simulation? Jesus said somewhere that there is space between the slides of the mind projector where, in stillness and timelessness, images which conform with the mind of Christ can be inserted to replace the images which are out of alignment with the laws of God, to outpicture a new reality instantly. Is this understanding a somewhat correct view of what was said by the Masters?

Yes, it is a correct view. But there is, of course, more that could be said, but this requires a greater knowledge of physics, and this will have to wait for another day. There is a certain refresh rate, and it is related to the Planck constant, which is also, of course, the intervals, or the quantum leaps, between energy states.

What science has not realized yet is that there must, of course, be something in between these discrete steps. Or you could say that there must be a backdrop for the discrete steps. You can see, if you take a tape measure that measures millimeters or inches, most people will focus on the little lines that measure or that indicate one inch, three centimeters and so on. But if there was not the white tape behind it, how could the lines be there?

There must be silence beyond sound, there must be stillness beyond vibration, there must be a continuum, beyond the discrete steps. And this is the silence, where other images than the ones that have manifested the physical world can be inserted. You can say that in healing the withered hand, the basis for this was a vision anchored in the silence—the intervals between the refresh rate of the images that have manifested the physical condition that was there. When you can tune into this, then you can, if you have a high enough level—and you can only tune into it if you have a certain level of Christhood—you can, in some cases, do something that seems like a miracle, because it instantly changes the physical manifestation that everybody thought was unchangeable.

Could we have prevented the war in Ukraine?

Question: Was there anything that could have been done from our perspective that would have prevented the invasion of Ukraine by Russia?

Answer from the Ascended Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2022 Webinar – Democracy and Christhood.

There was not anything that you as ascended master students could have done because as Archangel Michael said, your calls cannot stop people from taking physical actions—they cannot override free will. There was nothing you could have done, which is also why we did not direct you to make calls on this, even though we of course could foresee that there was a large potential for Putin deciding to invade, even though it was not a given.

Avatars and expectations coming from within and from without

Question: When someone has an expectation about what we should do or how we should behave, why do we often feel that we must fulfill that expectation? Why do we often lose ourselves in the effort to fulfill the expectations that other people have for us? Also, can this feeling have something to do with our reason for coming to Planet Earth in the first place? Who would have expected this task from us? Would I have had an expectation from myself? I feel that my reason for coming to Planet Earth may be in some way connected to expectation.

Answer from the Ascended Master More through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2022 Webinar – Democracy and Christhood.

Well, those of us who were avatars had a reason for coming to earth. And as we saw it back then, we wanted to accomplish something, we wanted to do something positive on earth. We wanted to make a difference and raise this planet up to overcome the suffering that we saw, and that shocked us when we saw it. We all came here with a goal. And we all came here with an expectation that we could accomplish that goal, because we were used to, from a natural planet, that we could accomplish whatever goal we set for ourselves.

One of the big shocks we had when we came to earth was that it was so much more difficult to accomplish our goals on this planet. This was partly the density of matter, but more so, the density of the collective consciousness. Because, when you think about what we did as avatars, there was a fundamental difference. On a natural planet we were seeking to raise the whole. This was not done by directly changing other people, because everybody else was wanting to raise the whole. There was no resistance towards our efforts to raise the whole.

Here we come to earth, and we are thinking in our minds that we are also here to raise the whole. The problem, which we have not realized fully, is that most people on earth are not in the state of consciousness people are in on a natural planet. They are not wanting to raise the whole. They are wanting to do what is best for themselves even if it has negative consequences for other people. Even if it creates suffering on a planetary basis, because they do not see that it does so.

What we are really actually aiming to do when we come to earth is to change the world by changing other people who do not want to change. And of course, this is nigh impossible, or at least very difficult to do. Even if you were an avatar who was not viciously attacked by the fallen beings, you still have a birth trauma in the sense that you experienced the shock of how much more difficult it is to come to earth. You realize that you cannot fulfill your own expectations for coming here, at least not as easily as you thought.

Right there, you have the disappointment that you cannot fulfill your own expectations. The question is: Are we willing to revise our expectations to see that they were unrealistic and let them go? Or do we hang on to them, and more or less frantically try to fulfill them by doing this or by doing that, or by trying this or by trying that?

Now, the other thing that happens is that even aside from the birth trauma, as a result of the attack by the fallen beings, we experienced that the people on earth are not responding to us. Many of us had leadership positions on natural planets, and we were used to the people responding, because they could see that what we suggested was what was best for them and for the whole. Here on earth, people are not responding, they cannot see that what we are saying is best for them. And so, they either ignore us, or they reject us, or they even in some cases undermine us and work against us. Or they attack us personally, which we certainly did not expect would happen.

Now we are saying: “Okay, the fallen ones are one thing, perhaps I cannot change them” – even though some avatars go into a phase where they think they can change the fallen beings, but others say: “I cannot change the fallen beings, but maybe I can change the people. How do I do this? Well, they do not seem to understand what I am saying. That must be because I am not good enough at explaining myself, so I have to try to be better at explaining myself. And maybe they cannot understand me, because they cannot identify with me because I am so different. Maybe if I could go in, take embodiment among the people, and be just like them, so they can accept me as one of their own, maybe then they will listen to me.”

You see how this then puts you in this mode where in order to fit in with the people, you have to live up to their expectations. This can cause some avatars to go into this state of mind where they are always mindful of other people’s expectations. They do not want to disappoint people’s expectations, they want to live up to them, so that people will hopefully listen to them. And it puts you in a passive state of mind. Basically, all of us have had this reaction to the people of earth.

As an avatar, when you rise to a certain level of Christhood, you need to take a look at this. First, you need to take a look at your own expectations for coming to earth: Let them go. Then you need to take a look at other people’s expectations and realize that, in most cases, you cannot actually accomplish anything by following the norm, by living up to the expectations of your family or your society, or the people in your profession, or whatever it may be. Because, how do you bring forth something new, if you are always focused on living up to the expectations of the people who are not open to something new, or at least who are not open to bringing it forth through themselves?

It is important to use our tools to simply say: “I have, because of this dynamic, created certain selves that have unrealistic expectations. I need to look at them and just let them die.” It may be for some of you easier to look at your expectations from other people first, before you look at your own expectations for coming here. Whatever works for you individually. But you do need at some point to consider: “Why did I decide to come here? What was it in my mind that I wanted to accomplish? And what were the expectations that were the inevitable consequence of wanting to accomplish this?” And then you need to let it go. You need to recognize that your disappointed expectations caused you to create certain selves in order to deal with this. And you need to uncover it and just let them die.

You will not qualify for your ascension by fulfilling the expectations you had before coming here, or by fulfilling other people’s expectations. You will qualify for your ascension only by rising above all expectations, internal or external. This is also what Jesus demonstrated. This is also to some degree what I demonstrated as Thomas More because there were people around me, including my own family members, who had expectations of how I should live my life, and it did not include being beheaded on the king’s order. There was massive pressure on me to renege my stand and save my head and therefore save the expectations of even close family members.

Some of you will have experienced this in this lifetime, may experience it as you grow. And you need to recognize that the solution is not to fulfill the expectations but to let them go.

Is it really worth it to go into duality?

Question: Jesus has said that when we ascend from planet earth, we do so with a completely different perspective than if we had ascended from a natural planet. How valuable is this different perspective? In what way is it valuable? And is it really worth all that we would have to go through to attain it?

Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2022 Webinar – Democracy and Christhood.

Well, the answer is yes, it is worth it. Because if you chose to come to an unnatural planet and if you can manage to ascend from here, it was because you needed and you wanted that experience and the perspective it gives you. And we have said before that what an unnatural planet gives you the opportunity to grasp is the inference of the duality consciousness. And this is something you cannot grasp in the same way, you can understand it, but you cannot grasp it the same way on a natural planet.

It does not mean that you cannot ascend without having that experience of the duality consciousness. But if you chose to come to an unnatural planet, it was because you decided that you wanted that experience in order to gain that perspective. You will have a greater perspective as an ascended master when you have been through this experience of the duality consciousness and all of its subtleties. When you have experienced this yourself, you have a different perspective as an ascended master.

This among many other things means that you have the experience that can help you help other unascended beings. Whereas if you do not have that experience, you might work with a natural planet or you might move on, but you are not as likely to choose to help other unascended beings like the ascended masters who are associated with earth have all done.

The concept of time travel and dissatisfaction with the present time

Question: Many people have expressed a great interest in the concept of time travel. That is, they would like to travel back in time to experience living in a time and an era that was very different to our own, and to experience life as it was lived in great cities 100 or 200 or 300 years ago. Is such a thing possible to do with the Akashic records or in Devachan, et cetera?

Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2022 Webinar – Democracy and Christhood.

Well, we have talked about time and time travel before. And we have said that it is not possible to physically travel in time. But when you consider spiritual growth, then what you can do is use our tools to go back and resolve the birth trauma and other separate selves that you created back in time. And this is in a sense a time machine, you are traveling in the mind and removing the ties that tie you to the past, and therefore you become free of the past.

Now in terms of experiencing the past – that is not physically possible. But it can of course be achieved to some degree, through for example, hypnotherapy. And it can be achieved in Devachan. But Devachan is after you leave embodiment.

The real thing to consider about this time travel is that you have a very, very strong tendency, a very strong beast in the collective consciousness, that wants people to feel that they are dissatisfied with the present time. They are dissatisfied with the situation they are living in: “Oh, it must have been better in the past. I would like to experience the past instead. Oh, It will be better in the future, I want to experience the future, but anything but my present situation.” This you cannot afford to do if you are a spiritual student who has an ambition of going towards Christhood and qualifying for your ascension.

You cannot afford to dream and always project you want to be somewhere else than where you are. How are you going to win your ascension? Where are you going to win your ascension? In the time and a place where you are right now. In the physical octave. This is how you qualify for your ascension – by working with your mind in the physical situation you have, transcending any attachments to the physical. All of the other things are a form of escapism and escapism will not take you to the ascended realm. You cannot ascend if you are trying to escape from earth. We have said this before, but I will say it again in this context, because it is extremely important. Many spiritual people who have it in their divine plan to reach a higher level of Christhood have been sidetracked, pulled into a blind alley by this particular mechanism of always thinking it must be better somewhere else, either somewhere else on the planet or somewhere else in time.

It is now and here that is the best opportunity for you to see the things in your own consciousness that stand in the way of your progress. Everything in your present situation and your reaction to your present situation is an opportunity for you to see the unresolved psychology that is standing in your way.

How to silence the mind

Question: I have a question to the masters. What is an efficient way to overcome overthinking and a sometimes compulsive chatter in the mind? I understand that I need to accept this separate self as inconsequential and accept myself as it is now. But how can I more efficiently pull my attention away from it, because it is still taking energy from me?

Answer from the Ascended Master Gautama Buddha through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2022 Webinar – Democracy and Christhood.

There are many factors that cause this chatter of the mind, what many Buddhists call the “monkey mind” that is constantly thinking, constantly talking, constantly analyzing, constantly engaging in this or that, wanting to pull your attention into this never-ending process. One of the factors can certainly be projections from forces in the astral realm or the mental realm, forces that are simply trying to put you off balance so that they can take your energy. There can also be a projection from the collective consciousness. For this, you need to use our calls for the protection and sealing of your aura by Archangel Michael, and for Astrea to cut you free from these dark forces.

You also need to, of course, use our tools for healing various of these separate selves or these reactionary patterns. For example, you will see that many people experience having some kind of conflict or disagreement with another person. And this then becomes a tool for their minds to continue to go over the situation again and again, and analyze this and you are drawn into it. And you cannot stop yourself from thinking about this, wanting to correct the situation in your mind that you cannot change at the physical level. You need to realize that this comes from certain separate selves, because you have an attachment to the situation, to the outcome, or you have a self that is not willing to forgive the other person. Again, by forgiving the other person, you actually set yourself free. So, do you want to be free? There can be many of these separate selves that are causing this constant chatter in the mind.

And ultimately, there is no other way than to see them, resolve them, and just let it go where all of a sudden, the things that your mind usually could pull you into, putting your attention to, they no longer seem important to you. You can just look at it and say: “Oh, well, so what. It is not important.”

But even if you resolve a lot of selves, you have to recognize you live on a very dense planet that is very chaotic, has a very chaotic collective consciousness, and there are so many chaotic energies. It can be difficult to avoid that your mind simply picks up from this. And you also have not only a separate self as such, as we normally explain it, but you have a, perhaps we could say, a larger separate self that is actually charged with making your mind work. And this self will simply always be thinking, evaluating, analyzing.

This messenger realized a number of years ago that he had a problem-solving self that wanted to solve problems. And if there was not a problem to solve, well, it would create one. It can be difficult to avoid having your mind be active and thinking about this or that. There are Zen Buddhists who have spent decades in meditation, in contemplation, and they still find it difficult to silence the mind. Many even have said that it is not important to silence the mind as long as you are still focusing on something beyond the mind which we would say would be your I AM Presence, or the spiritual realm or your spiritual growth.

But I will give you a practical tool that can be helpful. What you will notice if you observe your own mind is that a thought comes into the mind. There is a split second where you can actually decide: “Should I go along with this thought, should I think this thought or should I not?” Most people are not aware of this. But as you put your attention on it, you can come to a point where you become aware that there is that brief interval of time where a thought comes to you either from the outside or from the mind itself, but the Conscious You, your conscious awareness has that short interval to decide: “Will I go along with this or will I not?”

Instead of actually deciding: “I will not go along with this”, what you do instead is you simply become aware of the thought even if it has already started and had been going for some time and then you mentally say: “I surrender—I surrender the thought.” You are basically signaling, this is not important for you, you are not going to engage this, you are not going to put your attention or energy on it, you just surrender it, you are letting it go. It is not important. It has no significance. If you continue to do this, you can have some success.

Every time a thought comes up, or you can even do it, if you are lying, trying to fall asleep at night. You just constantly mentally say: “I surrender; I surrender; I surrender.” Now after some time, you may have some thought that suddenly captures your attention. And it goes on for some time. But then when you become aware of it, you say again: “I surrender; I surrender”. I am not saying this is going to work for people who have not done the other things I recommended. But it can certainly work for those who have attained more clarity and purity of their four lower bodies.

How to avoid hatred and loss of faith during war

Question: My question and request to the Archangel Michael. I live in Ukraine in the city of Kharkov. From the first days of the war, I asked Archangel Michael to protect my city of Kharkov, and the whole country of Ukraine. At a conference in Ukraine in 2019, Archangel Michael said that he was drawing a line of fire along the border of Ukraine. And I thought that my country would now be safe. I do not know the ways of the Lord, but I asked you to protect my country Ukraine and my city Kharkov from the Nazis from Russia. Archangel Michael strengthen us in this difficult hour and give us your advice on how not to be drawn into a reactionary pattern of behavior when my city is being bombed, and my compatriots are being killed.

Answer from the Ascended Master Archangel Michael through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2022 Webinar – Democracy and Christhood.

I fully understand the feelings and the thoughts you have in a situation like this. I am, as you might know, the Archangel who is charged with defending people’s faith. And I have over the long time span I have been associated with earth, many times seen people lose their faith in situations like this. People have throughout the ages been asking a higher authority, however they saw this as God or angels or whatever, to protect them from evil. And then when it has not worked, and they have still been attacked by evil in the physical realm, they have many times lost their faith, they have thought it was a false promise, or that maybe God does not exist, and so forth.

I understand your thoughts and feelings. But I also need to make you aware that it is because you have not actually studied our teachings sufficiently. Because what we have stated very clearly through this messenger is that when you make calls to us, you authorize us to act in the identity realm, the mental realm, and the emotional realm. But there has always been a limit to what we can do in the physical realm. Because this is where on a planet like earth, free will must be allowed to outplay itself.

You are perfectly correct, that I drew a line of fire around the borders of Ukraine, which was specifically done to prevent the situation you have right now of a Russian invasion. However, this fire was in the emotional, mental and identity realms. It cannot stop people from abusing their free will, and taking physical actions. It can make it less likely that they will take those physical actions, but it cannot stop it completely. You need to understand that whenever you make calls to the ascended masters, everything that happens on earth is under the law of free will. We know it, we respect it. Human beings often either do not know it, or do not respect it, or they do not fully understand what it actually means.

Let us take the situation here. In 2019, we had a very important and very wonderful conference in Ukraine, with many people from Ukraine, from Russia from other former Soviet republics and from Western countries as well. And this was an opportunity for both the Ukrainian nation and the Russian nation to step up to a higher level. In Russia, it meant that the Russian people would start listening to Putin’s rhetoric, acknowledge what he is actually saying and make their voices heard in making it clear that they were not in agreement with this. There was a potential that a certain critical mass of people could have done this. But that did not happen.

Then you take the situation in Ukraine, where it was also an opportunity for Ukraine. And the biggest issue in Ukraine at the time, was the division in Ukraine, between those who were sympathetic towards Russia, primarily in the Eastern part and those who were more Western leaning. Then there were those who were the Russian speaking Ukrainians who may not have been wanting to become part of Russia, but who still were loyal to the Russian language, and maybe Russia as a nation, or the idea of the very close association between Russia and Ukraine. It was also an opportunity for Ukraine to step up and move towards a more modern nation.

This was also with the election of Volodymyr Zelensky as President, an opportunity for the Ukrainian people to move decisively in a new direction.

First of all, overcoming corruption, seeing corruption as a major problem, and distancing itself from the corruption. Now, you will know of course, that corruption is also a major problem in Russia. And therefore, there is a certain correspondence there, between those people in Ukraine who are Russian leaning Russian, sympathetic, or even Russian speaking, who are more tied into the collective consciousness than Russia, and therefore are tied into the systemic corruption that you have in Russia. You also have the lack of humanity, the lack of sensitivity to other people, the lack of willingness to acknowledge, for example, democratic rights and principles.

You see that in 2019 Ukraine was a very divided nation. The entire conference was an opportunity for Ukraine to start overcoming this division, stepping up. But this did not really happen to the degree it could have happened. There was movement in the right direction. There is no question about this, but the basic division was not overcome. If it had been, there would not have been a Russian invasion.

You see what I am saying, I can draw a line of fire around the borders of Ukraine, but if there is a division inside Ukraine, then the free will of the people in Ukraine will neutralize my protection in the physical realm. This does not mean that my protection has been neutralized completely. I can assure you that if there had not been a protection of Ukraine, in the emotional, mental and identity realms, the situation would have been much worse in Ukraine than it is. To speak plainly, the Russian forces would have had greater military success than they have had. They would still be threatening Kyiv if they had not taken over parts of Kyiv. And they would have long ago taken over the Donbas region.

So it (the line of fire) has a certain effect in the physical. But the free will of the people can override the effect in the physical realm. Basically, you can say that, calls and prayers cannot override free will in the physical. It can make it less likely that people will make the decision to start an aggression. But if they make that decision anyway, prayers and decrees cannot stop it at the physical level.

Again, in Russia, if there had been a greater growth in the collective consciousness, then Putin would not have made that decision. I can tell you that even though Putin had planned and prepared for this invasion for some time, it was not until after the Winter Olympics that he made the final decision not only to invade, but to go for an all-out invasion, even threatening Kyiv instead of focusing on the East. So in his mind, there was a very delicate balance between invading and not invading and it was not a very big factor that tipped him to the one side. It could have been that he had withdrawn and stuck with the claim that it was all a military exercise and it was just the West hysteria that made them think he was going to invade. This could also have been a kind of victory for him as he sees it.

You see here that the calls made by the ascended master students in Ukraine, outside of Ukraine and in Russia, they do have an effect. But they cannot stop people from making certain choices and taking certain actions in the physical. They can mitigate it, but they cannot stop it. And this is because free will must be allowed to outplay itself. And those people who can only learn from the school of hard knocks, they must be allowed to create the situations that will give them the hard knocks that are their only chance of stepping up to a higher level.

You can say the Russians obviously need the hard knocks they will get from this situation, in order for there to be change in Russia. But you also have to say that even the Ukrainians, at least many of them, also needed the hard knocks of this situation. Ukraine now has an opportunity to move beyond the divisions that were there before. To, as other masters have said, forge a more clear national identity, and desire to become a modern nation, even a desire to say: “We cannot allow these oligarchs and this corruption to undermine the progress of the nation”.

Now, in order for this to happen to its highest potential, it is very important that the Ukrainian people do not allow themselves to be completely overtaken by the spiritual poison of anger and hatred that Jesus talked about. The more anger and hatred the Ukrainian people allow themselves to feel towards the Russians, the more it will slow down the progress of Ukraine. We understand as ascended masters, that you are in a very difficult position. You have lived your whole life in a city that has been peaceful and relatively prosperous. Now you are seeing your city bombed into ruins by the Russian artillery, you are seeing your friends, perhaps family members killed, your own houses or apartment buildings destroyed, the public buildings that you used to love and appreciate destroyed. We understand that this is a difficult situation.

But what I am simply saying is, you need to make a choice. How dedicated are you to the future of Ukraine as a free independent nation that becomes a modern nation that can become part of the European community? How dedicated are you to this? Because you need to recognize that the more hatred you feel towards Russians, the more you will slow down the growth of Ukraine. You need to recognize here that it is not for the Russians sake, that you need to avoid hatred. It is for your own sake.

You need to recognize here that what is the future of Ukraine? Most people in Ukraine, at least the ones who are not in the far East or who have voluntarily fled to Russia, most people now recognize that their future in Ukraine, lies in being free from Russia and Russian dominance and influence and aggression. The future of Ukraine is to be free from Russia. But my beloved, you cannot be free from Russia if you hate Russia and Russians. You will tie yourself to them karmically and this will slow down the growth of Ukraine as a free independent nation.

You will limit your freedom from Russia, by allowing yourself to be overpowered by this spiritual poison of hatred. It can be no other way. You can see so many examples in history where the same thing has happened, where you have these karmic ties between two groups of people. You have Jews and Arabs, Jews and Palestinians. And many times you see that the people who are embodied in Israel today were embodied in Arab nations or in the Palestinian group in their past lifetime. Some of the Palestinians today were Jews in their past lifetime. And they keep reinforcing this karma, so they keep tying themselves to each other.

How will you be free of Russia? By letting go of any feelings: hatred, anger, attachment, desire for revenge, desire to prove them wrong, desire to humiliate Russia—all of these feelings, the more you can let go of them, the more free you will be, and the more quickly you will be free. This is simply another aspect of the law of free will. By hating other people, you are using your free will to tie yourself to them. I know it is difficult. I know what the Russians are doing in Ukraine is extremely inhumane. I know it, I see it. But my beloved, for your own sake, for your own freedom, let go of the hatred. Do what you need to do, but let go of the hatred. Hatred towards others is not a good foundation for building a free independent and prosperous nation. Neither is it a good foundation for healing the traumas that people have received as a result of this war.

So for the sake of everybody, let go of the past in order to embrace the future.

Hostility towards Russian language in Ukraine

Question: At this time, it is very difficult for many Russian speaking Ukrainians to switch to the Ukrainian language. And there is hostility towards Russian speaking Ukrainians, which is fueled by the Ukrainian authorities. Should we support the Ukrainian people in their categorical attitude towards the Russian language, and despite the psychological difficulties of many Russian speaking Ukrainians, switch to the Ukrainian language?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2022 Webinar – Democracy and Christhood.

Well, first of all, as Jesus said, any nation must respond with their present level of consciousness. And hopefully they will then be able to observe how their level of consciousness is outplaying itself — what the consequences are, and then be able to raise that level of consciousness.

You cannot really be surprised by the fact that there is a hostility among the Ukrainian people towards Russia and Russians. You cannot be surprised by the fact that there is some suspicion of whether Russian speaking Ukrainians are sympathizers with Russia and Putin, and whether they are there to undermine Ukrainian national unity. How can you be surprised by this? Naturally, there are people who will outplay this. Hopefully this is only a phase that the nation has to go through.

Now, it is clear that what has happened to Ukraine is a dramatic shift in this nation’s history. It is clear that in order to move towards the golden age Ukraine needs to build a stronger and stronger national identity. And as part of that, it needs to shift to the Ukrainian language. This is simply necessary given the aggression from Russia.

However, this does not mean that Ukrainian authorities have to require Russian speaking Ukrainians to learn Ukrainian. This will be difficult, but primarily for people of the older generation. It is not unreasonable to switch to teaching only Ukrainian in school or using the Ukrainian language in schools and requiring younger people to learn Ukrainian. This is not unreasonable given the situation. It is simply a necessity for shifting into building a more coherent national identity as Ukraine.

Epic mindset vs. interdependent originations

Question: In the book, “The Mystical Initiations of Power”, Master More stated that karma works out very accurately, so that if a person is killed by someone at the 10th level of consciousness, then it is because the person who was killed is also at a very low level of consciousness. How does that reconcile with avatars who’ve come to earth to demonstrate their Christhood and are killed in the process?

In most cases, where you have what seems like a contradiction, you can benefit from going in, reading the different passages. And when you read them carefully, you will often see that when you understand what is being said in context, there is not a contradiction because we are not talking about the same thing.

There is a certain correspondence in the sense that many, many people have created karmic spirals with other people, where they incarnate with them in lifetime after lifetime and often outplay the same patterns. And this means there is a clear correspondence between two people’s level of consciousness. That is why they have this ongoing animosity and conflict. But there are of course, many other karmic circumstances. Karma is a very complicated thing. And of course, you have avatars who come into their first embodiment and are attacked by the fallen beings who see them as a threat, and therefore kill them, torture them or whatever that has nothing to do with the avatars’ karma.

However, be careful to realize that even though this is not what we traditionally call karma, it still has something to do with the avatar’s consciousness. Because if you come in with the attitude, that you are here to change the earth and change other people, and do something epically important in order to change the earth, then you will actually attract to you the fallen beings that correspond to that level of consciousness. Not that you have the same level of consciousness as them, but that you have some of these elements in your consciousness, such as looking at things in an epic manner and thinking that you can be the hero.

This messenger recently had a very important epiphany where he was considering how he, throughout his life had had this desire to do something significant on earth, something that made a difference. And he realized that he could only have this desire, because he saw himself as a separate being, who wanted to be acknowledged as a separate being, for having done something really significant. Because only a separate being can do something significant on a planet like earth.

A person who does not see himself as a separate being, will seek to raise the whole and does not need to stand apart and be recognized by people. He may be recognized, but he does not need it. And that is not what is driving him. He is aware of the interdependent originations. And when you see the interdependent originations, what meaning does it have, that you as a separate being could do something important or significant? It gives no meaning simply.

How to create more unity in America

Question: The phrase “United We Stand Divided We Fall” has been used as a motto by orators in American history. Maybe the phrase could be changed to express united we grow in unity, divided we separate and relatively fall. My question is, in America and in a democracy, where it seems people see around them the consciousness of division and separation, how can the people focus on unity and oneness? Where can people see inspiration to unify in their hearts and with others? What calls or focus can we make to further the focus of unity?

Well, let us begin with the calls that you can make as spiritual people. Most of our invocations are given for this purpose. You have, for example, the books – about America, the spiritual change in America, you have dictatorships, fanaticism, elitism, and ideology. All of these calls will help create more unity.

But what people can really do is, of course, understand the value of democracy and that democracy can only survive through unity. And they can see that division is destroying democracy. Unfortunately, if you look at it historically, often what has caused people in a country to unify is that they have been confronted with an enemy that has tried to take away from them the freedom they have in a democracy. You can see that even when Putin invaded Ukraine, the Republicans and Democrats could suddenly agree on sending military help to Ukraine.

It is sad that it should have to come to this fact. It is my hope that people can step up and see the need to overcome this division. If not, of course, the division will have to become worse until people have had enough of it. And then finally say: We cannot continue to go down this road. It will destroy our nation and everything we have worked for, and our forefathers worked for.

Are mermaids real?

Question: Are there mermaids that currently residing in the oceans on earth in the physical realm?

No, there is not. But as we have said before, notably Maitreya, when he talked about UFOs, there can sometimes be a crossover effect, where the vibrations of the physical octave in a certain location can in people’s minds come so close to the astral that people can see things from the astral plane. And it seems so real to them that they think it is physical.

How to see reality behind the outer appearances

Question: I have been trying to untrain my mind to see matter as complex patterns of energy waves, or dots or shapes. (Kim: This is actually what was in one of the dictations by Saint Germain that we just did in the vigil). And I was wondering if there is a daily exercise I can do that will help untrain my mind to do this.

Well, I do give certain exercises in my dictation on the topic. You can read that again, follow that along. Of course, you can give my invocation. But that takes longer. A very simple exercise is to simply think about this, to decide you will put a little attention on seeing it beyond the outer appearances, seeing that there is something deeper. In most cases, it will be easier to do it when you are closing your eyes and just visualizing that behind the outer appearances are something else, dots, shapes, energy waves.

If it helps you then go through the exercise of looking at the room you are in or visualizing the room you are in. And seeing that there are molecules behind the outer things. There are atoms, there are subatomic particles, there are pure energy waves. Then there are dots and shapes that are turned on and off in different colors. This may be different for different people in terms of what appears to them. Some people are not as visual so it may be harder. You can find perhaps, one that appeals to you. But this is one simple exercise.

The relationship between karma and illness

Question: How do karma and diseases relate to each other? Why and how can karma be redeemed by having illness? What is the logic here?

Well, there is a very complex relationship between karma and illness. I will not here go into all aspects of it. But I will give you something, to see that there is a certain logic behind it.

What does an illness do? In some cases, it means that there are certain things that people cannot do. To put it in a sort of black and white terms. A person gets a certain illness, that means he cannot become a soldier and go to war. This means he is prevented from making the karma he would have made by going to war and killing other people. This karma, this illness, the karma that resulted in this illness was made in a previous lifetime where the person did go to war and did kill people. When this karma came back to the physical, it manifested as a physical illness that prevented the person from making more karma. This is one way that karma and illness are related.

Now, it can also be that a person has decided in his or her Divine plan that you want to achieve a certain growth in this lifetime. And in order to achieve that growth, you have to overcome a certain momentum that you have had from past lives. In other words, you have to look at yourself and realize that you have a certain momentum. Let us just again, express it in simple terms—you have a certain momentum of always arguing with other people, always wanting to be right. And you have decided that this has destroyed or distorted many of your embodiments. And it is time that you want to overcome it.

You want to force yourself to confront this momentum in this lifetime. You put this in your Divine plan, and you have the potential that you could come to see this, because of course, you come in with this momentum, so you will be arguing with other people. And you can come to the point where you see this, and you decide, I do not want this anymore, I want to stop this. But of course, it is also possible that you refuse to see it, or you refuse to do anything about it. And in that case, you could have yourself put in your Divine plan, that your karma from past lives will materialize a physical illness, that makes it more difficult for you to argue and fight with people. And therefore, it forces you to take a look at yourself, or at least it gives you an opportunity to take a look at yourself and ask yourself: “Why am I having this illness? What is behind it?”

You see that in most cases, the karma manifesting as an illness is because you want to prevent yourself from making karma, or you want to make it more difficult for you to ignore the lessons you need to learn. There can be other reasons, you are holding a balance for the collective, you are taking on a certain collective karma. And you want to demonstrate that either you can live a constructive life with an illness or that you can overcome an illness. There are various reasons for this. But at least I have given you something to ponder here.

Again, this is not the full picture because the full picture is very, very complex. Quite frankly, if you look at some of the deliberations and calculations that the Karmic Board makes, in terms of what karma to release and what karma to hold back, it is extremely complex as we have said before. Even the best supercomputers could not handle the calculations that are being made by the Karmic Board and their helpers.

The dynamic of the divine plan

Question: By whom and how is the vision of the Divine plan held for a particular livestream’s incarnation after it has been made and a lifestream takes embodiment as the next opportunity to embody in the material world. Is the Divine plan an impulse that is expressed in some geometrical form or in the form of a seed that is sprouting and unfolding during its life? Can it be compared to a compass that indicates the direction and sets reference points? Could the masters please tell us more about this?

The Divine plan is held by the ascended masters who are working with that particular lifestream, also by the I Am Presence of the lifestream. The Divine plan can be somewhat compared to an energetic matrix, a certain geometric shape. But it is quite complex. It is also as we have said before, quite flexible. It is not rigid; it is not a straitjacket where you either follow your Divine plan strictly in all details or you go to hell.

The Divine plan is a dynamic thing that is more like you said, as a compass, as a guideline. And it is not so that the Divine plan specifies that certain concrete physical things absolutely must happen. And if they do not, you have failed that embodiment. The primary goal of the Divine plan is your growth in consciousness. And this can happen in many different ways.

You may say, that you have in your Divine plan, that you are born in a certain area, a certain location. And you are going to grow up there among certain people. And there might be a certain person who potentially could be your spouse. Perhaps because you have karma with that person, perhaps because you have a more positive potential for growing together. But when you come down into embodiment, and the density of the physical octave and the density of your own four lower bodies and karma, it is not a guarantee that you will see this. You may decide to do something different, so that you do not meet that person or you refuse to have a relationship with that person. You may be attracted to another person and have a relationship with that person. But still, your Divine plan will seek to help you grow. And it is never so that there is only one outcome: there is only one person that is the ideal partner, there is only one person that can help you go and so forth. This is never the case. There are always multiple scenarios that can unfold.

The Divine plan always seeks to help you, whatever choice you have made. Whatever situation you have put yourself in the Divine plan serves as this guideline, this lodestone —pointing to how you can grow from that situation. And if you tune into your divine plan and have some attunement, you will always see how to grow from any situation. And you can come to a point where you put yourself in a state of mind where you are not regretting the past, you are not blaming yourself, you are not feeling ashamed, you are not analyzing your past. You are saying: Now that I am in this situation, how can I tune into my Divine plan, and sense what is the best step for me to take? What will lead me to the most growth?

The Divine plan will change. You could say that you are standing on a road, the road moves, you are moving forward on this road. But now you come to a place where there is an opening, an open area. And for that open area, there might be two or three or more roads that lead out representing choices you could take in that situation. Now, obviously, you can only take one of those roads, you can only make one choice. You go there, you take that road, and then you walk that road for a time and you come to another open area. And there is again, multiple choices you can make. And this can continue. And this does continue throughout your life.

Now, sometimes you will see from the overall perspective, if you look at this, as a tree that branches out, you will say that you came to the first fork, and you took a road that took you off to the right side of this tree. But then you came to another fork and you took another choice, you came to another fork and you took a different choice. And all of a sudden you are now back on the same path you would have taken if you had taken another choice in the beginning. In other words, eventually like branches of a tree, they begin to meet and overlap. It is never so that there is only one choice you could have made and if you made a ‘mistake’, so to speak, you can never come back to that position. You can make many different choices, and still make the maximum progress that you were meant to make in your lifetime.

The lessons behind the WWII for the Soviet people

Question: What kind of test did people, lifestreams that were living in the USSR during your second world war? What were they supposed to go through? What kind of experience were they supposed to get?

Well, it is not that there was just one experience that they were supposed to get. There were many lessons that could have been learned. But the main lesson that could have been learned, would be to realize that there was a fundamental lack of humanity in the Soviet system. This was personified by Stalin. But it was there in the Soviet system, that there was an almost total lack of humanity, in fact, an anti-humanity in the Soviet system. It was not just caused by Stalin, but also by the communist ideology, and Lenin’s interpretation of it.

And what they could have realized from this was that despite all of the fancy claims, of creating a worker’s paradise and liberating people from the suppression of the czarist regime, the Russian people had not been liberated. They had gone from being under one dictator, to now being under another who was actually worse. And this could have led to the Russian people, recognizing that their leaders do not care about them whatsoever.

Some realize this, of course. But very, very few took the next step of asking themselves why they had attracted this kind of leader, why they had gone from one suppressive government to another instead of as in the West, where there were people who had attained greater freedom. And very, very few were able to ask these kinds of questions.

And this is why there was not a change after the Second World War. You will see that there were so many millions of people killed during that war. There were so many soldiers that came back who had been put in a situation where either they went up against the Germans who would shoot at them, or they would turn back and be shot at by the party army that was coming behind them, shooting anyone who tried to desert.

There was enough people who had experienced the inhumanity that there could have been a shift. And people could have decided that they did not want this. It did not happen. And that is why the Soviet Union survived for as long as it did. And that is why Putin has been able to gradually turn Russia towards becoming more and more inhumane. Of course, when you look at it, the suppression of the Russian people, the fear of speaking out in public, the fear of saying anything is inhumane. How could it not be inhumane that you are being suppressed but you cannot even talk about it—not even privately.

The people of Moscow, the avant-garde of Russia?

Question: In the late 80s. under Gorbachev’s governance, Muscovites, people of Moscow were the vanguard of the change that happened at the time. But now they are more like a bulwark of conservatism. What is the reason for that? Is it a cyclical reversal? Or the pressure of invisible beasts? Or is it because of material and psychological comfort from the redistribution of resources from the regions to the capital? Or is it because of fear of dictatorship or fear of the collapse of the Empire? Or is it something else?

Well, the short answer is all of the above. They are all factors in what has happened. Now, you need to recognize here that the people of Moscow have for quite a long time, seen themselves as the most important people in, first the Soviet Union, and then Russia. You have a certain consciousness that they are the avant-garde, they are the elite, they are the leaders, and they are entitled to something. I am not saying this goes for all of the people in Moscow, it is a very large city, with many people who live in poverty. But it is certainly the case for those who have risen to a higher standard of living, and consider themselves the elite.

Many of these people have risen to their current positions because of the oligarchs. And because of Putin’s reign, they have, as you said, benefited from the money that have been channeled from other regions to the capital region. And they do not want to lose their privilege, they do not want to lose their comfortable lifestyles, their yachts, their vacations abroad, their vacation, apartments abroad, and so forth, and so on.

They are perfectly willing to keep the rest of the country in a state of poverty, for their own benefit. It is to some degree, the same you saw during Soviet times where they were willing to keep the rest of the country and other Soviet republics in a state of powerlessness so that they could have the sense of having power in this powerful empire of the Soviet Union. It is, of course, not the same generation, because the old ideological people of the Soviet Union no longer have (most of them) the same power. There has been a certain shift to a new generation of people who have the money and the affluent lifestyle and they want to keep it. And as long as they think Putin can help them keep it, they support Putin.

Now, of course, that faith has been somewhat shaken. There is certainly a movement, even in Moscow, but also in other areas of the country, where people are beginning to doubt that Putin can help them or enable them to keep their lifestyle. And this doubt has not yet reached a critical mass, but it could certainly do so over time. And this will then lead to a certain shift.

Really, you could say, was the people in Moscow, the avant-garde of dissolving the Soviet Union, or were they also somewhat conservative back then? The reality is that many of them even back then, they did not understand what the top leadership understood about the necessity of change and the possibility of economic collapse. They were hoping that even if there were changes mandated by leadership, as they were programmed to accept, they would be able to move to keep their position.

You see that really, it is not such a big shift. They are just hoping to keep their privileged position. And they will do whatever they think will help them keep it, support whomever they think will allow them to keep it. This could actually shift, if they begin to realize that Putin is now a liability to them, rather than an asset. It has started to shift somewhat and it could continue to shift as the sanctions continue to take their toll.

Most people in Russia do not understand the impact of the sanctions. You will even see that. Sergei Lavrov made the statement, quite frankly a surprising statement, given their mindfulness of propaganda, where basically everything he says is propaganda. But he made one slip, where he said that not even the experts in Russia could, in their imagination, imagine this kind of sanctions that the West had imposed.

In other words, before the invasion, there were people in Russia who were tasked with predicting what kind of sanctions the West might impose, and what impact that would have on Russia. And they could not imagine the sanctions that have been imposed. Well, this means what? It means that even though these sanctions have been imposed, it takes time for them to work. And that means that these experts in Russia cannot imagine what the consequences will be. It will take months before they start to be felt.

People are sitting there and saying: Well, the ruble is back up, we still have goods in the store, we can still buy Apple computers, only they cost four times as much. I can still buy a Mercedes, only it costs 4 million rubles, and so forth. But this is not the effect, the full effect of sanctions. The full effects of sanctions will be as some experts, or some oligarchs said before the invasion, to take the Russian economy back to a level that it was at in 1917. This is what several people said before the invasion to Putin: “Do not take our economy back to a 1917 level.”

But this is what will happen if this war goes on, as it seems that it will, for the simple reason that even though Putin has seen the military resistance of the Ukrainians and the sanctions of the West, he is not willing to change his decision. Why? Because as I said, for him, it is never enough. He has big plans, and he knows that the only way for him to fulfill his plans is by not making a mistake. He cannot allow himself to make a mistake. And at this point, withdrawing from Ukraine would be seen by everybody as a mistake.

Of course, everybody outside of Russia already sees that he made one of the biggest mistakes in world history. Many people realize that no person in the entire history of Russia has done more to damage Russia’s standing in the world than Putin has done. But nevertheless, Putin does not see this, those who support him, and many of the people do not see this.

What will happen when the full effect of the sanctions are beginning to be felt? Well, that is an open question. What will happen to the people in Moscow? Will they suddenly become the avant-garde for bringing change, hoping that this will help them keep their privileged positions in a post-Putin Russia? What will happen among the people who are now struggling to meet their basic daily needs? This is an open question. It remains to be seen.
