The role of the Irish people in manifesting the golden age

Many Irish people are very kind and open, but at the same time they are often naive and resistant to change.

I ask you to describe the role of the Republic of Ireland and the Irish people as a whole in the establishment of Saint Germain’s Golden Age.

Well, it is too large of a topic to answer in this way. We have previously given some dictations in Ireland and about Ireland and the Irish people. But what you can say is that what I have talked about at this conference is that the role of nation states will shift. Therefore, you can say that there are many of the people in these smaller nations where they will not have a role as Irish people, but as people. In other words, you need to let go of the focus on the Irish national identity and espouse more universal values. Christhood, as we have said, is a universal value. You are not an Irish Christian or Scottish Christian. You are a Christed being first and everything else comes after that. Again, different nations can have different roles because they can have a specific group dynamic. And you can say that many Irish people have a certain innocence, which, for example, can be seen in contrast with many English people who are very suspicious and somewhat devious.

You could say that the Irish people can have a role in showing the English people there is an alternative to their scheming ways that they have displayed throughout history. But whether that will really have an impact on the English people is an entirely different matter. But what you can say is that the Irish can come to realize that perhaps they are sometimes naive, but it is better to be naive than to be manipulative. And you can, of course, learn to overcome your naivety by developing Christ’s discernment. Therefore, become harmless as doves, being innocent, but wise as serpents. You might remember that the myth about St. Patrick is that he cast the serpents out of Ireland.
