Question: Neither in the West nor in Russia itself is there a powerful protest of the priests themselves against Putin’s aggressive war. How can this be explained? In Russia, it is fear of the church authorities, or are the monks also under the influence of imperial Russian illusions? Both the Pope and the Dalai Lama are quite careful in their statements. How much does Russian money affect the Vatican Bank?

Well, there are many complex issues here. It is not really money that is the greater issue. It is more that, if you look at what we have said about the Christian churches, they have been taken over by certain collective beasts. And these beasts mean that the churches, neither the Eastern Orthodox, nor the Catholic church, nor many Protestant churches, are in alignment with Christ, and therefore they cannot be open doors for the living Christ. None of us as ascended masters can really work through these churches. And therefore, there is a certain larger beast that envelops these people, and it is a beast that is not tied to a specific religion, but it is a beast that is seeking to prevent people from speaking out against the fallen beings. And this has many ramifications around the world, but it can be seen by the fact that the Catholic church has not been more vocal in speaking out against this, or that the Eastern Orthodox church has not been vocal.
Of course, in Russia, you have the situation that the Patriarch of Moscow was installed by Putin and is really just a spokesman for Putin, trying to make it seem like God and even Christ approves of what Putin is doing in Ukraine. This is also clearly an example of a church taken over by this beast that you cannot object. This beast was heavily reinforced during the Middle Ages because the Catholic church formed an unholy alliance with the kings and noblemen of medieval Europe, where you saw again that there was one group of fallen beings who were in charge of the church, and another group of fallen beings who made up the kings and the noblemen.
And they had created sort of a ceasefire, a peaceful coexistence among them, where they were both sides benefiting from the other. They were helping each other keep the people trapped. And this is a powerful momentum that you also saw very powerfully in communism, but you even see it in the modern democratic nations, where there is not yet the awareness of the power elite and how they are controlling the economy, creating this anti-democratic economy in democratic nations.
You see how very few politicians will speak out about this, and very few media people will write about this. It is not something that is unique to the war in Ukraine or to Russia or China, although it is of course very strong in Russia and China and other dictatorial nations. It is clearly stronger in the dictatorial nation than in the West because there is much more of a penalty for speaking out in a dictatorial nation. People could speak out in the West and would not be imprisoned or killed, but they might be ridiculed. And this so far has been largely enough to keep people from speaking out against the power elite. This will of course change as we move into the golden age, but it has not yet really broken through, as it will do in the future.
