Question: As I understand, we have taken on illusions that are part of the rule set to currently embody at the 48th level of consciousness at birth. Is it correct to assume that these illusions then translate as selves, not separate selves? And we create our separate selves horizontally in addition to the primary illusions at various levels by either taking them on from the mass consciousness or by creating them on our own. Thus, I conclude that separate selves are always of a dualistic nature and may persist and outlive their original state of consciousness in which they had been created or accepted. I assume that this is so because our illusionary selves that determine our state of consciousness are just perception filters by which we are naturally affected, while the separate selves are by nature somewhat more compulsive and offensive.

I am just going to answer this because it is obviously correct what the question is saying, and Archangel Raphael explained it also in more detail, and Cyclopea also. It is that the only thing I would say is that they are part of the rule set to currently embody at the 48th level at birth. You have to say the first time we embodied on earth, we were at the 48th level. It is not that every time we re-embody, we start at the 48th level. We can rise to higher levels in previous lives, and then we come in at whatever level we are at. But it is correct that what the masters said is, we start at the 144th level, and we are taking on a certain illusion, and we are creating a certain self. That is not a dualistic illusion. It is just what is necessary for the Conscious You, which is, it does not have a structure to integrate, start integrating with the identity body and start creating a sense of identity. Cyclopea was explaining how the Conscious You does not have any individuality. There is no container that can contain any parameters for how you are individually. That is all in the I AM Presence. When the Conscious You goes to the 144th level, it takes on the illusion that is necessary for you to start integrating with the identity body. But you are creating an individual belief about this, based on the individuality of your I AM Presence. Each of us have a slightly different self that we create at the 144th level.
And Cyclopea was saying that the reason we need to create this is that he compared it to a film strip, where the Conscious You is like the white light in the movie projector, and the identity body is a film strip. And when we go to the 144th level, we are drawing something on the film strip. And then the light is just projected through that drawing to the 143rd level. And it becomes a subconscious self that is maintaining that belief. And then at the 143rd level, we take on another one, we create another drawing on the film strip that is then projected. And then of course, we have a film strip for the identity body, we have another for the mental, we have one for the emotional, and one for the physical, because even the physical body is just basically a film strip that is being projected onto the Ma-ter light. The selves we take on from the 144th to the 48th are not dualistic selves. They are just selves that help us integrate, because they are also saying that for the Conscious You, which is pure awareness, it is very complicated to integrate with the physical body, and even begin to operate it. And Cyclopea would actually use what one of you said yesterday about, “But I am the Conscious You, I am pure awareness, how can I write?” And it illustrates that the Conscious You, when it sees itself as pure awareness, it cannot operate a physical body. It cannot even conceive that you could write words, and that words have a meaning. This is all something we take on gradually in the identity, mental, and emotional level. We can operate a physical body. These are in a way necessary illusions.
But the danger of it, you could say is, not really the danger because we are meant to descend to the 48th level, that when the Conscious You goes down to the 48th level, it can identify itself with or as the physical body. But it is just that as we walk the spiritual path, we are no longer identified with the selves we have created. They are still necessary to operate the physical body, but we can come to a point where we are not identified with them. And that means we can then be more at peace with being in a physical body. And then of course, when we go below the 48th level, we create the selves based on duality and the illusion that we are separate beings. And that is what creates all the frustration and the pain and the suffering. Because now it is like we become a house divided. Instead of fully accepting that we are in this physical body, and we are operating this physical body, there are now these selves that are resenting the body.
Like, even this question about menopause, you are resenting being in a physical body, getting older, losing your hair, and this and that. You are making it worse, because now you have this resistance or opposition in your own being. And of course, that is what the fallen beings take advantage of, all these separate selves. And they are actually, if you think about it, you realize that the fallen beings are actually projecting that it is wrong of us to be in a physical body. That is why you can see this old spiritual tradition that the body is an enemy of your spiritual growth. It is what I have talked about in some of my YouTube videos, where you see the Eastern spirituality—they are always against the body. The body is just a hindrance. You need to control the body, abstain from any bodily pleasures, because they have this idea that only Brahman is real, the world is an illusion. You need to get back to this undifferentiated state, where you basically do not exist, like we talked about yesterday.
This is what creates, all of a sudden, instead of being co-creators who are happy to be in a body and express ourselves through a body, all of a sudden we resent or resist being in a physical body. And you can actually, once you have taken on these dualistic selves, you can carry that with you, even as you raise your consciousness. The masters explained fairly recently, I cannot remember if it was Easter, there was a question about it, where Jesus said that, you see what I have just said, you create a certain self in order to descend to a certain level, and in order to rise higher, you just have to overcome that self. You can rise from the 48th to the, say, 96th level, but you are still carrying with you some of these selves you created in separation, or at least these beliefs, like resenting the body.
You can have these yogis and masters from the East that have raised their consciousness, but they are still carrying with them this resentment of the body, so that even though they are at a fairly high level of consciousness, they are still resenting the body, seeing the body as an enemy of spiritual growth. It is almost like there are two parallel tracks, there are separate selves, and the necessary selves, and we can start rising back up, but still carry some of these separate selves with us, and that gives that division. That is what we need to strive to overcome in order to have peace and wholeness and even healing.
