Question: When you speak about Russian influence, I could say the same thing about Africa, where the colonies of the West have been for years now and have almost the same effect. I could see – when I look at the French territories, or when I look at the British ones, or when I look at the Portuguese and all these countries that took Africa under them – I see covering up the real needs of the people, but extracting what was necessary for the economy to grow. So sometimes I’m not sure if I can say that it’s only the Russians that did it because they were Communists. How do you differentiate that?

The dynamic that happened in the Soviet Union was, I should say, in many ways similar to the colonization of Africa or other parts of the world by Western powers—exploiting a country that has less organization or less ability to defend itself.
Today, however, it is not so much the nations that are doing the exploitation as multinational corporations. This is, of course, an issue that will need to be addressed before the Golden Age can manifest. It is clear that many multinational corporations have become more powerful than many nations and yet they have no allegiance to the people.
At least in a nation the leaders usually have some respect for their own people. So clearly calls need to be made on multinational corporations, which we have to some degree addressed but will address to a larger degree in the future. Again it is not the time for us to give a deeper discourse on the situation in Africa, which has been explained not so long ago by Mother Mary, so I will refer to her words as a further teaching at this point.
