Question: Why have we not heard anything about this messenger’s previous embodiments?
Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2024 Easter webinar.
It is a combination of factors. First of all, we do not want to set him apart from you. We do not want to create this idolatry in this dispensation that we have seen in the previous dispensations of the organizations we sponsored and in many other spiritual movements. There is always this tendency that the person who started a movement or is leading a movement is idolized by the followers. We really have no desire to give any kind of material that can make you feel that this messenger is so special and has something you do not have. What have we said in this conference? The Christ is within each and every one of you. You each have a Christ potential, you each have a Divine plan. You each have a contribution you can make to manifesting Saint Germain’s Golden Age and none is more important than others.
Now this messenger was chosen as a messenger in part because he has no desire to set himself above others and that is one of the reasons why he does not even want to know personally what his previous embodiments were because he does not want other people to idolize him and he does not even want to have the temptation of thinking: “Oh if I had this embodiment I must be an important being.”
His attitude is that if we want him to know we can tell him but he would prefer not to know and we would prefer not to expose it so that you do not idolize him. The other thing is of course that in this dispensation we are focusing much more on developing your Christ potential and it does not matter to us what you were in past lives. What matters to us is how willing are you to apply the teachings and move forward from the point you are at now.
All of this stuff for what you were in past lives or what you did or what you did not do is not important for your growth. What we have seen in previous dispensations and other spiritual movements that if people have come to believe whether rightly or not, that they were some important or famous person in a past life they thought in many cases: “This must mean I am an advanced spiritual student and therefore I do not have to look at my own psychology.” and this is counterproductive to your spiritual growth. We have seen in the Summit Lighthouse for example where in the early years, some people were told that they had been some famous people from history and they went into a state of spiritual pride where they thought: “Well I obviously do not have to look at my psychology because I was this or that famous person.” and it slowed down their growth and in some cases, caused them to miss their ascension.
We do not want to repeat that pattern here. Now you can say why was this allowed there? Well, partly as a test for these people to see if they would go into a prideful reaction or not but most of you do not need that test so that is why we need you to know you have had past embodiments but not the specifics. We also need you to know that you are avatars but as we have also said it is not that one avatar is more special than another. We all came to earth pretty much for the same reasons for the same kind of psychology.
