Question: Given we could make a decision at the identity level in an immaculate manner, I assume all subsequent thoughts and feelings that were formed to support our former identity would receive no more energy from our spiritual side and would eventually collapse and cease to exist. How long would this take? In other words, is it recommended by you to actively call for the purification of those formerly misaligned energies or are those energies automatically re-qualified as we then express our future thoughts, feelings, and actions congruent with our new sense of identity?

Well, in order to make a decision to create a new sense of identity, you need to use our teachings and tools to work with the subconscious selves to resolve some of these selves that make up your current sense of self.
Because otherwise, what you will be doing is you will be creating a new sense of self, or rather a new subconscious self, that will be battling with your previous sense of self. You cannot assume that these energies will be automatically dissolved. You make the calls with ours decrees and invocations to dissolve the energies but you also have to use the tools to expose the self, see the decision behind it and consciously let it go. Then you have dissolved the former self, and then you can form a new one.
