Question: I have been possessed by an entity for years. After tuning with the Christ within, that evening in bed a being grabbed my heart hard. I thought it was Jesus and did not resist, but it was the possessing entity impersonating Jesus. I was a beginner in the ascended master teachings at that time, so I did not have enough discernment. I had been asking Archangel Michael and Elohim Astrea to free me from the possession for years. I realized that I had a separate self that wanted to be special or to have special abilities, so I extinguished it. I reflected on whether I had made a pact with the devil and concluded that I had not, although it may have happened in a past life. Even so, I declared that I am breaking that contract. I dissipated the separate self or spirit that did not want me to make my own decisions, and I vowed to take responsibility for myself. Why is it that despite all my efforts, my prayers are not being answered? What more do I need to do? I really want to get out of this School of Hard Knocks. I want to achieve consciousness growth. Dear ascended masters, please help me to break free from the possession.

As we have said many times, giving decrees and invocations or praying to the ascended masters cannot work against your free will. You need to consider that a possessing entity cannot possess you against your free will. This may not be a conscious decision on your part. You may not have consciously invited the entity in, but you came to a point, most likely in a past life, where you were at a low point, you felt you were suffering, and you felt that this was forced upon you by external circumstances, and you did not want to take full responsibility for yourself and your own state of mind. This possessing entity offered you an advantage, that if you allowed it into your mind, it would make certain decisions for you, so you did not have to make those decisions yourself and take full responsibility for yourself. And in order to be free of the possessing entity, you need to use the teachings and tools to discover the subconscious self or selves that cause you not to want to take responsibility and make decisions, and when you let those go, then the entity must leave and will leave, because then your calls and prayers to the ascended masters will work.
You need to consider this very carefully. And I recommend that you use the book healing your spiritual traumas and use the tools in there to try and uncover these selves that for many people who are possessed go back to the birth trauma. And when you see the self, when you see the illusion, when you decide that you are willing to take full responsibility for yourself, then the entity cannot stay in your force field.
