How did the United States avoid a recession in 2023?

Question: How did the United States avoid a recession in 2023, despite facing one of the fastest and largest interest rate hike cycles in history? Economists and investors seem to have lots of ideas about this, but I am curious if the ascended masters can provide a more holistic and complete explanation.

Well, I can give you three reasons for this. One factor is that many Americans are optimistic people, and they had to hold back their optimism during the corona pandemic. But when the pandemic was over, they acted out on their optimism, they wanted to start something, they wanted to do something, they wanted to improve their life, and this was driving the economy.

Another aspect is that the Biden administration have done many, many things to stimulate the economy and keep the economy going. I do not want to go too much into specifics here, but the government has actually acted in a fairly wise and balanced way to keep the economy going.

And a third factor is simply my Mother Mary 500 vigil on the economy, which you have now been doing for so long that some of you are wondering how long this can go on. But the reason for this is that we had to use your work to bring the economy of the world forward to a point where it hopefully will not regress, but will keep growing. So do not underestimate the importance of the vigil. This, of course, is not something mainstream economists will ever recognize, but nevertheless, it is a big part of it. It applies, of course, not only to the United States, because the vigil has had a worldwide importance. There are, of course, some countries not touched by it, but nevertheless, many of the more developed democratic nations have been supported by the vigil.
