Question: We know that Paramahansa Yogananda has ascended and is now serving elsewhere, not on earth. As I understand it, Swami Vivekananda of India, a disciple of Ramakrishna, ended his earthly life early due to his elevation in consciousness. Like Yogananda, did he also ascend? If he did ascend, is he still serving the earth or has he moved on?
Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2023 Korean Conference.
What I will say is that Vivekananda will not take embodiment again on earth. However, he has not ascended yet. There is a tendency, especially in India, of idolizing gurus, and if a guru, for example, goes out of embodiment earlier than the normal lifespan, then the students want to project that there must have been a reason why the guru died early and it must have been because his consciousness was so high that he did not need to stay in embodiment or he could not stay in embodiment.
Vivekananda will actually go to the same planet or one of the planets that Yogananda is working with, but will take incarnation again on that planet which is higher than earth. From this viewpoint you can say that he has graduated from earth but he has not fully made it to the status of an ascended master.
