Question: Guru Ma has been ascended for about a decade now. Can she tell us something about that time? What does she do in the ascended realm? Has she been able to reconnect successfully with many of her former students from the Summit Lighthouse?
Answer from the Ascended Master Guru Ma through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2026 American Webinar.
Well, it has been a very intense period for myself and Lanello. It is in our Divine plans, at the ascended level we also have Divine plans, to take over the retreat at Lake Titicaca from the Goddess Meru, who will then move on and take the position of Helios and Vesta in the sun.
But this is quite an intense preparation to hold that spiritual office for both Lanello and myself, so basically we have been busy focusing on that and qualifying for that change.
Have I been able to connect to many of the students from the Summit Lighthouse? Yes, many people had some connection before I ascended, but there are of course certain issues that block this connection. First of all, they do not accept that I have officially ascended, even though they assume that I have. Many people do not accept my book, which was given primarily to help my former students connect to me as an ascended being, an ascended master. But still many people have attained a connection, even if they have not read my book, even if they do not accept me as an ascended master officially, they still have attained a connection or maintained a connection they had. And this is of course a great joy to me.
You see, as ascended masters, we leave behind what was there before. This is something that many people find it very difficult to accept about ascended masters.
I do not have any intention that people should connect to me as an ascended master, or that they should accept that I have spoken through this messenger. I do not have an intent that they should accept my book. I am happy to connect not only with my former students, but with anyone who can connect to me as an ascended master, however they see me. I am happy to give them whatever I can give them, and I do not have the intention that people should accept, as I said, that I am speaking through this messenger now, or that I had a certain status in the Summit Lighthouse.
As an ascended master, you just seek to connect to the people who are open and to give them whatever you can pass on to them. Many students find this difficult to accept, and that is why they often cannot connect to me, because they have a mental image in their minds of how I was as a messenger for the Summit Lighthouse, and what images they created based on that. And they are seeking to connect to that image instead of the being that I am now, which is far beyond how I was when I was in embodiment, and of course far beyond the images that people formed of me.
Again, when you have an image, you are not neutral. But in order to connect to an ascended master, you need to be as neutral as possible. I would, of course, like to connect to all of my students, but many of them cannot go into that neutral state of mind, and therefore, they either do not connect, or they connect to a collective entity that some of the students in the Summit Lighthouse had created of how they think I am as an ascended master. And they feel they get validation that this is who I really am, or how I really am as an ascended master. But it is just an image, a being, an entity they have created based on their mental image. And of course, when you connect to such a collective entity, it will validate the image that it is created from. And if you do not have discernment, you will feel, well, this is how the ascended master Guru Ma is. But this is not who I am.
And if you want to connect to me, strive to be neutral. I am willing to connect to all students of the Summit Lighthouse, past or present or future. But I will not validate a mental image you have that actually keeps you trapped in a blind alley. As always, as an ascended master, my goal is to help you transcend yourself and any mental image it is you have of me, of other ascended masters, or of yourself. How can you transcend yourself if you are not willing to transcend your self-image? And if you are not willing to transcend your image of me, it is difficult to transcend your self-image as my student, based on how I was in embodiment.
