Question: Did humans ever go to the moon and actually walk on its surface? I am confused. I am confused because many people doubt it.

Yes, they did. This is another example of how these conspiracy theories are put out there deliberately to confuse people and cast doubt upon the institutions in democratic societies. Sometimes these come from fallen beings that inspire people in the Western world. But many of these conspiracy theories have their origin in Russia or China or other nations that are seeking to undermine democracy by getting people in democratic nations to doubt the democratic governments.
You can see, for example, that there is a conspiracy theory that the United States faked the moon landings. But, you know, it is claimed that the Russians sent unmanned vehicles to the moon. Why is not there a conspiracy theory claiming that that was faked as well, or that the Russians faked the Sputnik? You will see by just considering this that this conspiracy theory likely started in the Soviet Union and Russia because they were jealous of the fact that the United States managed to put a man on the moon, whereas they did not. The same with many other conspiracy theories.
You need to recognize, we have said this before, but I will say it again, you need to recognize that there are countries in this world who are totalitarian countries who are doing everything they can to destroy democracy. And one of the ways they do this is to undermine the faith that democratic populations have in their own government and their institutions. They put out enormous amounts of information, they use social media, and they have unfortunately managed to make many people, especially in the United States, believe in some of these theories. It is estimated, for example, that two percent of the people in the United States actually believe that the Earth is flat, and that you have all been lied to for 500 years by science faking evidence that the Earth is round. The same goes for many other theories, including theories about the COVID vaccine or other forms of vaccine.
You need to recognize here a very simple fact. Democracy is inherently vulnerable to these kinds of undermining activities because, in a dictatorship, the population is forced by physical means. But, in a democratic nation, the only thing that keeps the nation functioning is that the population have faith in the democratic institutions. And those who are seeking to destroy democracy understand this better than most people in democratic nations do, and therefore, it is not a matter of them getting people to believe in certain things. If you go back to the Soviet Union, you will see that the propaganda from the Soviet Union was aimed at getting people in the West to believe that communism was better than capitalism or democracy. Today the aim of Russia and China is not to make the population in democratic nations believe in certain ideologies. Their aim is to get people to doubt the democratic institutions because they know that when this reaches a critical mass, it can cause real problems for democratic nations, such as you already saw in the United States around the last election, the entire COVID pandemic, where many, many, many people died that would not have had to die if they had had a more realistic attitude towards vaccines and other measures.
This is actually quite a serious matter, even though we might laugh at the theory that nobody landed on the moon or that the Earth is flat. But altogether, many of these conspiracy theories serve to undermine people’s faith in the democratic institutions. You just need to ask yourself, do you really believe you would have more freedoms in a country like Russia or China than you have today in your country? If you believe that, then by all means spread all the conspiracy theories you want. But if you believe you would be worse off in China or Russia, then stop spreading these conspiracy theories and stop taking them into your minds, where they really do not in any way enhance your spiritual growth.
