Question: When I look back at my inner self, I feel like I am a very difficult soul in many ways from the perspective of salvation. And I am not a mature enough soul to take responsibility for life and take pain. In a way, the second death seems to me like a greater comfort, so please give me things that I can contemplate. And when I look at the level of my soul, it feels like a much more difficult and tiring choice to choose a life and live a reincarnation. Has there ever been a case where the I AM Presence or the commission disagrees with or is blocked about the soul that determines the second death. If I choose the second death, does my consciousness become like sleep or does my consciousness return to the level of the I AM Presence?

Well, there are certainly cases where the I AM Presence, of course, desires to grow but the Conscious You is not willing to grow. This is basically what we call a fallen being, where the Conscious You rebels against the process of growth, refuses to reunite with the I AM Presence, and wants to continue to build a sense of having a separate self that has a certain sophistication.
If the Conscious You chooses the second death, then the Conscious You is withdrawn back into the I AM Presence, ceases to exist as an individual being and the I AM Presence is still whole, has not been affected by this but, of course, all of the separate selves that this being has built will have to be dissolved and it is not like going to sleep, it is a total cessation of existence.
The ascended masters will gradually dissolve these selves and the energies accumulated in them or I should say very quickly actually but there is a certain procedure. And that is what the second death means where all of these separate selves and the momentums and the energies are dissolved and transformed into a pure state. There is nothing left of any separate self, any sense of separate self. A being going through the second death, any sense of self it had before disappears as if it had never existed.
The I AM Presence in the causal body still has certain lessons that have been learned. But if a Conscious You chooses to go into separation especially if it falls from one sphere, then the I AM Presence creates another conscious self that is sent down to embodiment in another situation. For that matter, many I AM Presences have several Conscious You’s in embodiment at the same time, not necessarily or very rarely on the same planet.
If you have these kinds of thoughts, you need to recognize that there is a very strong projection from certain fallen beings into the minds of spiritual people. And they use whatever spiritual teaching people are in. It is impossible for us who are the ascended masters to give any teaching that the fallen beings cannot twist and turn and use to project into people’s minds that it will be easier to go through the second death than to walk the path back to oneness with your I AM Presence.
And the temptation to listen to this always comes from a separate self where it seems to the separate self that it would be too difficult. The self is projecting at the Conscious You it would be too difficult. But this is just because the separate self wants to maintain its existence. The separate self does not understand that if you go through the second death, it is dissolved, it cannot grasp this fact. It can even use the concept of the second death to project at you that you should not seek to grow. But this ,of course, only happens when the separate self is very desperate to prevent you from growing.
What we can say is that when you have these kinds of thoughts and projections, it is because both your separate self and the dark forces are desperate to prevent you from breaking through. Which means you are close to breaking through, you have the potential to break through and fundamentally shift your approach to life. Will you do it? Well, that is a matter of your decision. I cannot make you do it. I have no desire to make you do it. I can only tell you the reaction, tell you to read the My Lives book, read Healing Your Spiritual Traumas, see if it shifts your consciousness in some way, study the teachings we have given in general. But I cannot and I will not make you make any decision whatsoever. I respect free will completely and absolutely.
But I will say that we have given enough teachings that anyone who is willing to sincerely study them with an open mind can indeed make this shift.
