Question: Does the one who is a conductor of high energy have the right to use this energy to materialize anything for itself or can this energy be used only for the benefit of oneness?
Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. The answer was given during the 2024 New Year webinar.
Well, the entire point of the spiritual path is that you become more and more an open door for your I AM Presence, for the ascended masters, and therefore, higher energies can stream through you. And you can say that the way the question is asked, you would say that people who are in doubt about what is for themselves and what is for a greater good are not yet fully the open door. You really, in order to become the open door, you become neutral, and therefore, you realize that you transcend the selfishness that you see in the world.
And therefore, you would not use these energies for a selfish purpose but that does not mean you cannot do anything for yourself because it is a part of your life plan, your divine plan, it is a part of your service to life. For example, in order to function well, most people need a place to live and you need to have a certain income. There is nothing wrong with manifesting this when it supports your divine plan. Now if you did it for selfish purposes that would, of course, not be constructive, but then you are not really the open door for your I AM Presence and the ascended masters. There is an entire culture in the world of people who want to manifest something for themselves. There is an entire culture, for example, around this law of attraction where people are trying to use various means to manifest, for example, a big house or a car or income or fame or fortune or the right job or the right partner or any kinds of other things. And this is done from the perspective of a separate self that wants to gain something for itself.
And it is not that some people cannot have some success in manifesting what they want because, as Jesus said, there are some that attempt to take heaven by force. There are fallen beings who are good at manifesting things but they are not actually using higher energy in the sense of energy that comes from the spiritual realm. They are using energy that comes from the four levels of the material universe that they are stealing from other people. It is possible to manifest things this way but this is not using higher energy, it is done clearly for selfish purposes. This entire culture around the law of attraction is really driven by some people and even some beings who are channeling these teachings that are very self-centered and self-focused. And many, many people, even many spiritual people have been pulled into this entire culture of thinking that the ultimate goal of life is to manifest all the material things you want. Of course, you can say such people are not on the spiritual path whatever they think about themselves.
They are not on the real spiritual path where you surrender your attachment to material things and it is more important for you to reach a higher state of consciousness than to have certain material things. But, as I said, there is always a balance to be found because in order to be a spiritual person and fulfill your divine plan you need certain physical conditions. And it is legitimate to use the energy from the spiritual realm to manifest the conditions that are part of your service to life and part of what you need to do to grow in this lifetime. It is important to realize that it is not just a matter of abandoning or forsaking material things. If you are in your last embodiment, for example, there may be some material thing that you desire to experience in order to get to the point where you have had enough of that experience and can move on. If you take the book by Yogananda, he describes how, at a certain point, his guru took him in his mind into a state where the guru gave to him a palace. Yogananda walked around in the palace for some time and the guru explained that it was because he had a subconscious desire to have a palace and he needed to experience having the palace even if it was not physical in order to get beyond the desire and move on with his divine plan.
And the same thing with you. You can have a certain desire for material things that you need to experience for time so you can move on. And in that case, it is legitimate to use the energy to materialize this but you will notice that if you really are a spiritual person, you will not be attached to having this. You will appreciate the experience but you will not be attached to it, and therefore, you can come to that point where you feel that now it is time to let it go. I have had enough of it. It is time to move on. If you cannot move on or if you cannot consider moving on, then that shows an attachment. Then you need to look for that separate self that has the attachment and let the self go and when you let the self go, well then, you no longer need the physical thing.
