Question: Do ascended masters want to share their vision with us about the climate crisis. What is true and what is not true, and how can we best deal with it?
Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during a 2024 Deep Healing Retreat Conference in Tallinn, Estonia.
Well, as Jesus has actually explained quite a number of years ago about global warming, the problem with the current climate crisis is that the debate is entirely materialistic. It centers around: “Here is a materialistic phenomenon, we can see that the planet is heating up, and weather is becoming more extreme, the ice caps are melting, and so forth.” But because they are in a materialistic paradigm, they can only look for a materialistic explanation. And therefore, they are saying, “Oh, it must be the burning of fossil fuels, CO2, pollution, this or that, that is causing the planet to heat up.” And this is, of course, completely inadequate, because in order to explain or understand what is happening, you need to look at the earth as a total energy system, and that the physical earth is really just a screen reflecting what is being projected upon it by the emotional, mental, identity bodies of humankind, the collective and individual. Unless you understand this, you cannot actually understand what is happening in the earth.
The other thing that is happening is, of course, that if you really look at the available data, going back as far as you have data, but even old manuscripts that talk about conditions hundreds or even thousands of years ago, you will see that the planet on a regular basis goes through cycles where it warms up and cycles where it cools down. You have all heard about the ice ages, but you also know that there were periods in the past where there was tropical vegetation in Greenland, for example, and so you know that there has been warmer periods as well. And this is simply something that happens on a regular basis. And you are in a cycle where there is this warming trend.
Then what you have on top of this is that you always have the fallen beings who are trying to use anything that happens to control people, to create guilt and blame, to get people to deny themselves. And they are exploiting this situation partly for the purpose of control, partly for the purpose of making money, because they are now trying to force especially the rich nations to invest in various measures that can lessen the climate crisis. There is a certain amount of manipulation going on that is coming from the fallen beings.
But this of course is not the entire explanation, because as Jesus also said, there is a very strong influence from the emotional, mental and identity bodies of the collective mind. And it is partly because there is more friction there, because as you can clearly see, everybody is going towards, or many people are going towards the extremes, being polarized. And this of course is releasing immense amounts of emotional energy that is causing a certain friction that simply warms even at the physical level.
And beyond that is of course the fact that the entire universe is being pulled up, because most planets are natural planets. The earth is being pulled up by this, humankind is resisting it, and this is also creating a certain friction that goes from the identity to the mental to the emotional level, and then spills over to the physical.
However, this does not mean that this is all the negative, because what is happening is actually that the entire debate about the climate crisis is forcing at least some nations and scientists to step back and look at the cause of pollution. And it is clear that what is causing pollution is primarily fossil fuels, where you are burning something that releases certain gases. And many have not reached that point yet, but some have and more will do so fairly soon, where they will realize that the only real way to solve the climate crisis is to find other forms of energy that are not polluting. And I know some are thinking about renewable energy, solar, wind, ocean waves, some are talking about nuclear, but the effect of this is that it is gradually opening up people to consider what I have called non-force-based forms of energy. And there are people who are thinking in these terms, there are some that have been thinking for a long time, but there will come a point where people will realize that unless you set society back to the Middle Ages, you cannot solve the climate crisis unless you find a different form of energy than what is available today. I am not saying that governments should not research in or invest in solar and wind, but there needs to come a point where they say there must be another form of energy that is not based on force, whether burning fossil fuels or splitting the atom. Even the fusion technology is a step up from fission technology. I may be mixing those two, I am realizing, but anyway. There is a great need to research in new forms of energy.
And therefore, I am sort of stepping back and just letting the situation unfold, because I see that this will gradually move societies closer to my vision for the golden age. But it is gradually opening them up for a need to make a qualitative shift, a shift to a higher approach to energy. Even though the fallen beings are trying to take advantage of the situation and they think they are controlling the situation, they simply do not have enough awareness to realize that they are actually moving the situation to a point where they will lose control. Because whereas it is possible to control force-based energy, it won’t be possible to control non-force-based energy, at least not the same way. Again, it is simply necessary that society begins to think in new ways. And for me, therefore, the major consequence of the climate crisis is that it is forcing societies to think beyond the materialistic mental box. Because in essence, there will come the realization also that you cannot discover these new forms of energy if you hold on to the current materialistic paradigm. You need to either expand your vision of what the material world is, so you see that it is more than you currently see, or you need to let go of the materialistic paradigm. And either way, it is moving in the right direction.
