Question: Please comment on the practice of worshiping the relics of the saints. All modern churches have so-called holy relics. People worship them and think that they have healing properties. The relics are also used to consecrate water distributed to the faithful to drink and wash the living ones. In Kiev Cave monastery there are a lot of relics of the saints. Many people visit the monastery to worship them. They literally embrace their coffins. How helpful or dangerous is this worship in terms of energy, physical and mental health?

The entire concept that body parts from a dead saint can have special properties is, of course, completely fictitious. It has no bearing on reality. There may be various reported healings from such things but this can all be explained by what medicine calls the placebo effect. There is not an actual energy in these relics that creates healing. If there is healing it is because the mind of the person shifts and there is healing.
In terms of the effects energetically of worshiping, this has a very dangerous and low effect. It again, as I said with the worshiping of saints, it ties you not only to the saints but it ties you to the astral plane because body parts, bones from dead people are tied to the astral plane as the consciousness is right now. There are many people who have harmed themselves energetically and even opened themselves up to lower energies by participating in these practices and it is clearly something that would be much healthier for anyone to avoid.
