The lesson behind Julian Assange’s situation

Question. What is to be learned or understood from the continuing saga of Julian Assange?

Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during a 2024 Deep Healing Retreat Conference in Tallinn, Estonia.

Well, one thing that could be learned is that even though you have many nations that claim to be free and democratic and have freedom of speech, if you start exposing the power elite, they will come down on you very hard and attempt to destroy you. And this is, of course, because there are still fallen beings in embodiment who do not want to be challenged, and so they will seek to destroy anybody who challenges them.

Now, Julian is not a person who has resolved all of his psychology, but he was willing to take a risk of exposing what could be exposed about the power elite and their manipulation. And of course, I understand that this was against the laws of many countries. But you look back at history and you see that those who brought change sometimes had to go beyond the laws because the laws were designed to prevent change. This does not mean that I am giving a wholesale authorization, as some students in a previous dispensation interpreted, to break the law in order to bring Saint Germain’s golden age. You will generally follow the admonishment of Jesus: “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s, and unto God that which is God’s,” which means you are generally following the laws in your country and you are certainly abstaining from violence. But there are times when it is necessary to expose with information. Exposing with information is not violence, especially not when you are exposing manipulation. Now again, this does not mean that I am giving some wholesale authorization that anyone who gets hold of secret documents should put them on the internet. There needs to be a certain discernment. And there are, of course, things that should not be exposed because they are dangerous for the country and there are hostile countries who would take advantage of it. But on the other hand, it is clear that, especially in a country as big and powerful as the United States, there is a power elite who has a very high level of control over the country and they do not want to be exposed. They do not want their schemes to be exposed.

Someone must take the risk. Again, I am not saying that this is some wholesale authorization. There are many people throughout history who claim to be freedom fighters, but who were actually acting out their unresolved psychology. What people can learn from this situation is that before you expose yourself to the wrath of the power elite, it is wise to work on resolving your psychology so that you do not make it easy for them to destroy you for what you are doing.

And Julian Assange has a certain psychology that caused him to react a certain way. And I am not here telling anyone what to do, but if we step back from the specific situation and talk generally, if you are challenging the power elite, do not seek to run away from it afterwards and hide somewhere where they cannot reach you. Instead, go head-on. Let them put you on trial because in a democratic country with some freedom of press, this will be exposed. By putting you on trial, they will expose themselves even more. And you could ask yourself, would it be worse to be in a prison somewhere, or to be imprisoned in some embassy somewhere where you still do not have the freedom to move? So either do it and do it all the way or do not do it. But make sure that you have resolved enough psychology that you can go all the way without being destroyed by the process, psychologically speaking.
