Question: Can you give us something on how we co-create from our current level of consciousness? And perhaps give a definition of what the masters mean when they say that we have a potential to be co-creators versus us playing creators at the human level. And is it correct to assume that each level of consciousness has a certain range of co-creative abilities? Could we look at how this looks in three particular stages? From the level of consciousness we are in just before we reach Christhood, after we have reached Christhood at the beginner’s level, as we begin to give up all our resistance to the Christ consciousness, meaning having a higher degree of Christ consciousness. What is the difference of how the Christ consciousness acts in these three stages? And have we taken on more of the Christ consciousness by having resolved more of our psychology, or does it involve other aspects as well?
Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 USA Conference.
Let us first look at the difference between co-creation when you are trapped in separation and duality, versus when you see yourself as a connected being. You are, of course, always co-creating, because you always have the four lower bodies. There is always some energy in those four lower bodies, a certain minimum streaming from your I AM Presence, but of course the lower you go in consciousness towards the lowest level possible on earth, the less energy you have streaming from your I AM Presence, which means that those who are in the lowest level of consciousness, who often are good at manipulating themselves into positions of power, they are using energy they have stolen from other people to co-create.
You can, of course, be technical and say, well you are not co-creating unless you are receiving energy from a higher source, but still for all practical purposes you are using the powers of the mind, and you are using the energy that ultimately came from the spiritual realm to manifest something on earth. As you go beyond the 48th level and begin to see yourself as a connected being, you begin to gradually rise above the willingness to do something that benefits yourself and harms other people.
You can say that at the lowest level of consciousness, you are willing to do whatever you think benefits yourself and you have a very narrow vision of what benefits yourself regardless of the consequence that it has for others. When you see yourself as a connected being, you are not willing to consciously hurt other people in order to get an advantage for yourself, but you may not be conscious of the consequences of your actions and the effect they have on others. Then as you rise towards the 96th level, you of course begin to have a more neutral vision of what it means to co-create what is your self-interest. You might say that you broaden the focus for your self-interest, and you begin to see that instead of getting what you want based on what you see through the outer mind, you actually want growth more. And the closer you get to the 96th level, the more you begin to focus on what are the long-term consequences for my growth versus what my separate selves want on earth, even my material needs on earth.
For example, just to give you a pretty basic example: “What am I willing to do to make money and is it so important for me to have money that I am willing to exploit other people to get it or even fool other people to get it?” And the closer you get to the 96th level, of course, you simply cannot do that because making the money is not as important for you as your growth towards higher levels of consciousness. As you pass that level of the 96th level, you overcome that focus on self and now you have the inner attunement where you are not acting for the benefit of yourself, not even for your physical needs. You are, of course, taking care of your physical needs, but that is not your primary motivation. You are seeking to serve the all, to raise up the all, instead of raising yourself up. As we have said, when you are climbing from the 48th to the 96th, you are building a sense of self that takes you beyond the collective consciousness. But you lose that as you go above the 96th level and now you begin to work for the all.
The higher you go towards the 144th level, the more you become tuned in to the needs of the all and how you can serve the all. You may see it as something you can do in the world. You may see it as how you can serve the ascended masters, be an open door. And there is not a contradiction between the two, but it is just a matter of what you are focused on. There can be people above the 96th level who are focused on doing something for others, serving in society in some way, or you may be focused on, as this messenger is, bringing forth teachings from the ascended masters or bringing forth other kinds of teachings and relating these teachings to specific areas of society.
One of the questions that many people have in this regard is, you look at my life 2,000 years ago and how I performed these miracles, supposedly supernatural feats. And many students who have heard about the concept of Christhood, for example, through the I AM Movement or the Summit Lighthouse or these concepts of higher consciousness, they have thought that as you reach a higher level of consciousness, you will be able to perform all these supernatural feats.
But you see, as you reach a higher level of consciousness, you are also tuning in. It is not you who have an outer human ambition to make yourself special by being able to walk on water. It is not even you thinking that: “Oh, if I could prove some supernatural ability, it could help people accept the ascended master teachings.” You are tuning in to what we want to bring forth. True co-creation means: “I can on my own self do nothing. The Father within me is doing the work.” You are not acting based on an outer goal or ambition. You are being the open door for the flow. And whatever the flow manifests, you are fulfilled in that. You are not striving for more. You are having less and less of a vision of what the flow should bring forth through you.
There can come that point at the higher levels where you can say, my father works with hitherto and I work. You are realizing that all your co-creation comes from the flow of energy from the higher realm. You could not do anything of your own power. But you also realize that you have to make decisions. You have to be willing to decide: “I am willing to do this. I want to do this. I want to serve in this way.” But you are focused on service. And you have a more and more neutral vision of what that means.
How do you serve the all? Do you really serve the all best in this age by producing supernatural phenomena? Or do you serve in this age by demonstrating the transcendence of psychology or teaching about how people can transcend their psychology? What is the need of the age, the needs of the times? That is what you tune in to more and more.
As you go close to and beyond the 96th level, you do increase your ability to reach up, to receive more energy and to direct that energy into manifesting something in the physical. But you also refine your vision of what you want to manifest. For example, you are not becoming a billionaire when you are at the 96th or beyond the 96th level, because you realize that there is no way to accumulate that much money for one person without exploiting other people, without buying into the whole system created by the fallen beings.
You may remain poor. You may have a comfortable physical lifestyle where you do not need to worry about money. There is no standard for how Christhood is expressed, as we have said before. It is important, as you contemplate this and as you go closer to the 96th level, that you look at yourself and say, what standards do I have? What images, what visions do I have of what I am supposed to be able to do when I attain Christhood? And then you step back, you question it, you see, does it come from some human ambition? Does it come from a separate self? And you are willing to work on that, look at that, give it up. Because, as I have said before, the central definition of Christhood is you are the open door. Open, free. The spirit can express itself through you without being filtered by any lower ambitions or visions. That is the highest form of co-creation. It does not mean that you can manifest anything your outer self wants or needs. It means that you are serving to raise the all, whatever that means, based on the times and the situation you live in.
