Question: What happens to an evangelical Christian when he or she dies? Do they meet Jesus? Are they told the truth about the false teachings of the Church? How open are they normally when they hear the truth? Or do they instead choose to remain in denial?
Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2022 Webinar for America – The Resurrection of Democracy.
Well, that is a very individual matter. It all depends on the person’s openness. You realize that when you are out of the body, you have the potential to attain a broader vision than you have while you are in the body in the four lower bodies and the perception filters of them. But it depends on your openness of mind, your willingness to see beyond that perception filter.
There are many people that are so closed minded—and it does not apply only to evangelical Christians, but it applies to many evangelical Christians. They are so closed minded that, when they pass from the screen of life, go out of embodiment, we cannot tell them the truth about the church and the Christian religion. We cannot tell them the things that I have given you even in the dictation I gave earlier today. This is partly because of the law of free will. Because we are not allowed to force people to see something, they are not willing to see.
What unfortunately happens to many of these people is that they magnetized themselves to certain areas in the mental and emotional realms. Often not the astral plan, the lower emotional realm, but the higher emotional realm. And here they enter into a kind of Devachan where they can experience what they are open to experiencing, and hopefully grow a little bit from this—move closer to the point where they have had enough of that experience. But in most cases, they do not make much progress. They just come back into their next embodiment, in some cases in an evangelical environment, in some cases in another Christian environment, in some cases in a different religion, but with the same level of fanaticism and closed-mindedness that they have in their four lower bodies.
