Question: What is the ascended master’s perspective on Thailand?
Answer from the Ascended Master Kuan Yin through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2026 New Year Webinar.
We naturally have a perspective on Thailand, but the messenger is not very familiar with the country in his outer mind. What we basically can say is that our perspective is that Thailand needs to be more aligned with its Buddhist heritage, and therefore, stop fighting with its neighbors. You will be able to see the irony that here are two countries that claim to be Buddhists, but they are fighting over a Buddhist temple. This cannot be alignment with the Buddha’s intentions and teachings.
But other than that, we of course want to see Thailand become a fully democratic country that is based on democratic principles and therefore, gives economic opportunity to all people. If you look at the affluent countries in the world, how did they become affluent? How did they go from being poor centuries or decades ago to being affluent today? By giving equal opportunity to people instead of having an elitist economy and an elitist society.
