Question: Could the masters please shed more light on the question of the fall of the human root races? In particular, it is not entirely clear how the 5th and 6th root races fell. It is known that the 4th root race fell in Eden. Is it correct to assume that the next two root races also fell there, or did their fall occur later during embodiment on earth? If the latter is true, does this mean that the 5th and 6th root races were able to withstand the serpent’s temptation in Eden and therefore, came to earth better prepared for the challenging conditions here? If, however, they also fell in Eden, then why were they allowed to incarnate at all, given that the experience of the 4th root race already suggested that such an experiment had a high risk of failure? Because with the 7th root race the ascended masters chose to postpone this step, the Lords of Karma decided to delay its embodiment, stating that they did not wish to subject it to the corruption that befell the previous three races.

Well, I wanted the messenger to read the full question, because when you look at this question and look at the teachings we are giving today, through this messenger, you will see that the question is based on older teachings that we have chosen to transcend. The teachings about the root races started with Madame Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society, but they were emphasized by later dispensations. We have chosen not to comment very much on this and not to give teachings about this in this dispensation, because we have in this dispensation given a much broader, more holistic vision.
You take Maitreya’s book and many later teachings on the progression of the different spheres. This is a teaching that goes way beyond what was given in these previous dispensations. And as we have said before, when a teaching is expressed in words, two things will happen. First of all, words can be interpreted, so different people will interpret it differently. Second of all, when a teaching is expressed in words, it becomes static.
And this means, from our perspective, that there can come a point where a particular teaching, a particular idea, has reached the limits of its usefulness. It was expressed previously and it had some validity, it helped some people understand certain things, but perhaps the teaching was not expressed in its pure form, because the vessel receiving that teaching was not in a pure state of consciousness, as was the case with Blavatsky. Therefore, when there comes a point in our ongoing progressive revelation where we decide this teaching has outlived its usefulness, we will give a higher teaching that goes way beyond the previous teaching. In other words, you look at the Theosophical Society, Blavatsky’s teachings, that gave a certain worldview, and based on this, root races could explain certain things. But now we have given a much broader worldview about the different spheres, and that means that you have a much better foundation for understanding life than you had previously. And that is why, from our perspective, the idea of root races is not something we want to incorporate in this new worldview, because it had become too static.
That is why we have gone beyond it, explaining certain things that you can compare certain ideas to root races, but not literally. In other words, what I am saying here is, I am not going to give you a direct linear translation from the teachings of the root races to the teachings we are giving today, because it simply is not constructive, and it would create more confusion than it would clear up. My advice here is, if you are open to the teachings we are giving through this messenger, then study those teachings, Maitreya’s book and forward. Study all we have said about the different spheres, and then let that be your guidance to a higher worldview. You do not need to say that the previous teaching was wrong, you just need to say: “There is a higher teaching available, I am going to embrace that.” The linear mind, as we said before, will never be able to resolve such differences. There will always be questions and more questions. I am not answering your question directly, but I am telling you why I am not answering your question directly.
