Question: In South Korea there has been a recent increase in the number of children born and growing up with a predisposition to mental illness such as autism and violent ADHD. In order to improve this, many innovative teachers are developing ideas, creatively challenging and experimenting, and making valuable advances in the emotional development of children. But parents still do not trust teachers having not moved on from the old authoritarian teacher image and government departments, ministries of education, school boards, are not interested in and supportive of these individual teacher efforts that have nothing to do with immediate results or performance. Instead, teachers are overwhelmed with administrative tasks that prevent them from giving their full attention to the most important goal of schooling, educating and caring for children. They are also exhausted and demoralized by the inability to get the minimum protection or action required from the government in various conflicts with parents, children and teachers that may arise in their work. As a teacher seeking inner spiritual growth, I am not sure how to teach and cope in the midst of this literal School of Hard Knocks. Am I doubting Jesus who said: “With God all things are possible?” And how can I be a teacher without engaging in the free will of them: children, parents, principals, assistant principals, administrators, etc.?
Answer from the Ascended Master Jesus through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2025 Korea Conference.
You need to recognize here that my statement that “With God all things are possible” is not a complete understanding. It is not even a complete quote of what I actually said back then. But even back then I did not give the higher understanding that you have today about the importance of free will.
No, on planet Earth where free will reigns supreme and where so many people are trapped in duality, not all things are possible with God, at least if you look at the outer things. What you can do is take this statement symbolically and realize that if you seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, meaning the Christ consciousness, then all things in your own mind are possible.
But when it comes to activities that involve the free will of other people, then not all things are possible. Now you can of course as a teacher look at this as an opportunity to expose your subconscious selves and work on them. You can also make the calls for your own protection, for the protection of the children and the people you deal with at your work. When you are interacting with other people, such as parents, you can make the call to the I AM Presence of the other person to give them a higher vision of how to deal with the situation. But you also need to ask yourself once in a while if you actually want to be a teacher or if there are other things that are part of your Divine plan. I am not hereby telling you what to choose but just to be open to an intuitive connection to your Divine plan.
In terms of teachers developing alternative methods to dealing with these severely handicapped children, then this is something you can make the calls for and you can in certain contexts speak out about it. It is clear that there is much innovation going on, not just in South Korea but in other nations because many nations realize there is a problem. And the problem is, as we have said before, that there are so many people on earth who have been traumatized by war and other atrocities in past lifetimes that they are seeking healing in this lifetime. And these children will seek embodiment in countries where they have at least some opportunity to receive healing.
There are people, children being embodied in South Korea now, who were traumatized by the Korean War, even though it is many years ago. Some of them have not dared to come into embodiment until now. And there are people who were in North Korea at the time of the war who are now embodying as children in South Korea because they have a better chance of receiving healing here. But it is a general trend in many affluent nations that they are seeing more psychologically handicapped or challenged children precisely because, as I said, they have a better opportunity to receive healing in such societies or at least have an upbringing that does not increase their problems.
