Question: Currently in some African countries that used to be constitutional democracies, they are taken over by military dictatorships. These coup d’etats are mostly in countries colonized by France that has continued to interfere politically in those countries whilst exploiting their resources to the detriment of the African populations. These military leaders have begun to build alliances with Russia instead of democratic countries who have also not stopped exploiting them.
What can African citizens do in this context to be able to liberate themselves and move towards the journey of Saint Germain’s Golden Age? What advice has the ascended masters for the African youth who are very disillusioned about their future to move out of the current problems on the continent into a better future for Africa?
Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2024 Easter webinar.
Well, you need to recognize here that it is correct that there has been a certain exploitation, not necessarily from countries but more from multinational corporations. But you also need to recognize that it is not just Russia that has attempted to insert themselves in some of these countries, China has done the same. And so, you simply need to ask yourself, will this lead to progress for these African countries? In other words, will the Russians or the Chinese do something for these African countries that the democratic countries are not able or willing to do, or will they simply exploit them in a different way?
There is no easy answer to this question because it only has a long-term answer and that is that you gradually raise the collective consciousness in these African nations so that the critical mass of people become willing to take responsibility for themselves, for their country, for educating themselves, for raising their own consciousness and dedicating themselves to bringing forth a democratic government that does not allow the exploitation of the people either by other countries or by multinational corporations. And this can be achieved but it is not a short-term goal. There is no short-term goal for these African countries or no short-term solution for these African countries.
You need to look at the history of democratic nations all over the world and how they gradually transitioned into becoming democracies. It does not mean you have to repeat what these nations did but you can still, by looking at their history, learn lessons on how you move into a country that has a more free and equal society that does not allow the kind of exploitation you clearly see in dictatorial countries.
Just also take a look at Russia and China and ask yourself, are the people in those countries more free than the people in these African nations even while they were being somewhat exploited by democratic nations? So, do you really think that China and Russia can give African people more freedom than what they are giving to their own populations?
