Question: If a lifestream does not descend at the time of fertilization, then after in vitro fertilization is it ok to freeze embryos and to select those of better DNA quality before inserting them into the womb or using them for medical healing purposes, such as stem cells?
Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Estonia in 2018.
Yes, it is perfectly acceptable to use in vitro fertilization and it is also acceptable to use stem cells for medical research and in an attempt to develop certain cures. Obviously this is not a technology that will have a long lifespan because better ways of dealing with disease will become known as we move further into the Golden Age but as an interim step it is necessary to pursue what can be done at the physical.
It is even necessary in the sense that people who do not have a spiritual outlook need to be allowed to go into certain extremes about the physical body in order to create the foundation for an awareness that human beings are more than the physical body.
