Question: In light of the escalation of the current conflict in the Middle East, is it reasonable to assume that the United States and European countries might reduce their support for Ukraine? In what ways could developments in the Middle East influence Russia’s military actions against Ukraine?
Answer from the Ascended Master Saint Germain through Kim Michaels. This answer was given during the 2026 Kazakhstan Conference.
Well, if you look at developments, you will see that under Trump, the United States has, almost from day one, reduced its support for Ukraine. But at the same time, the European nations have stepped up their support for Ukraine. No, it is not reasonable to assume that the war in Iran will reduce the European countries’ support for Ukraine. It will perhaps further reduce the United States’ support, but it is already not as significant as the European one.
The European nations are quite dedicated to supporting Ukraine with whatever it takes, because they look at it from a practical standpoint. They know that if Putin gets the impression that he won the war, he will attack a NATO country within the foreseeable future. And therefore, they see it as necessary for their own security to support Ukraine.
The developments in the Middle East, well, they can actually have the effect of increasing support for Ukraine in somewhat surprising ways for most people. You have already seen that delegations from Ukraine have visited the Gulf states, where they have offered their expertise in counteracting the Shahed drones sent by Iran against these Gulf countries, because, of course, Russia has sent the Iranian-developed drones against Ukraine for years. And therefore, Ukraine has greater expertise in all kinds of drone warfare than any other nation on earth, including Russia, because Ukraine has been far more creative than Russia. There are already signs that the Gulf states will buy technology from Ukraine and therefore help them continue to fight against Russia. Really, from my perspective in the Ascended Realm, the support for Ukraine will only increase even if it is reduced by the United States. It will increase from European and other countries.
There is, of course, always the possibility of free will, but definitely the highest likelihood is that support for Ukraine will gradually increase until it becomes obvious to somebody in Russia that the war cannot be won. And therefore, somebody in Russia decides to stop offensive actions. And of course, the question is whether there is someone who is capable of seeing this, willing to see it, and capable of taking action. If there is not that someone, then Russia, under Putin’s leadership, will continue to push on until something breaks, either in the Russian military or the Russian economy, that forces them to stop offensive operations. In other words, what I am communicating here is that from the ascended master perspective, Russia has lost the war. They just have not admitted it yet. And there is no possibility that they can turn it around and win the war the way Putin sees it. It does not matter what propaganda they are putting out. They are either trying to fool Ukraine or fool the West or fool their own people or fool themselves. The question is, is there somebody in Russia who is not fooled?
