Reacting and analyzing

Comment: What you call the Wisdom of the Mother reminds me of what I experience in my life. Whatever happens, it’s never too much. It always finds a way. If I’m too much, the other will send me away. So I learn to trust that, okay, it’s part of the process.

Comment: You find out over the years that you become more sensitive to the feedback if you get in somebody’s face.

Comment: When I did something and it didn’t work out the way I hoped it would be, I’ve always found later on, okay, this is my path. This is where I am right now. So I trust the mechanism that steers me.

Comment: We can’t be responsible for how other people are going to react.

This answer was given by Kim Michaels at a conference in Holland.

Kim: Yes, and I’m realizing also that I have a tendency to go into analyzing. And like somebody was saying, you are reacting to the way you think people will be reacting, and you don’t know how they’re going to be reacting. So it becomes this artificial construct in your mind, and that’s not the Wisdom of the Mother. You’re not flowing then. So I understand what you’re saying – you’ve found some kind of balance where you don’t condemn yourself for making a mistake.

I think that’s what Mother Mary was saying too. What is it that old bumper sticker says: “S-H-I-T happens.” We just have to recognize that in this realm things are going to happen so we just move on. I know I’ve talked about quantum physics before. They used to believe that the universe was completely predictable. If you knew all the conditions in a situation, you could predict the outcome of an experiment. Then they discovered in quantum physics that you can only predict a probability, but until the experiment happens, you can’t know exactly what’s going to happen.

I think it’s the same thing with our lives. We can have the best of intentions, but we can’t know how other people are going to react or how a situation is going to turn out. So we have to do what you were saying, be willing to just flow on and trust that it’s okay if we sometimes swing a little too far to that side.
