TOPICS: Being a fallen angel is a sense of identity – as long as you hold on to it, you cannot be redeemed – any being can turn around at any time – none of the original fallen angels have done so – all must give up separate self –
Question: Has there ever been a fallen angel who has turned around on the path and become Christ?
Answer from ascended master Jesus through Kim Michaels: (May 19, 2007)
No, a fallen angel cannot be redeemed—for the simple reason that the Conscious You of any being is what it thinks it is. So if you think you are a fallen angel, you have no chance whatsoever of turning around, walking the spiritual path and entering the kingdom of heaven.
That is why I said, “He who seeks to save his life shall lose it, but he who is willing to give up his life for my sake, shall indeed find it.” So those who are willing to give up their identity as fallen angels, as being separate from God—certainly they can turn around and this has happened to many individuals. Although I must tell you that some of the most rigid and closed-minded fallen beings – the group of the most rigid and closed-minded beings – none of them have so far been redeemed.
Yet, as we have explained now in both Maitreya’s book and Mother Mary’s book you really are who you think you are. And so in order to enter the spiritual realm permanently and ascend, you must overcome any worldly identity. I must tell you the honest truth, that what applies to a fallen angel applies to anyone who has partaken of the duality consciousness—you must let the separate sense of identity die before you can ascend.
And so, in a sense, it does not matter how you fell, or when or where you fell. For it is the same process that all must go through. And I can tell you that there are indeed some beings who did not fall in a higher sphere out of rebellion against God but who fell for more, shall we say “innocent” reasons—perhaps even following the false teachers, because they were not quite willing to take full responsibility for their lives and therefore wanted other people, other beings, to make decisions for them. And some of these beings – who have never manifested anything evil, who have never manifested any desire to control others – have still become so enveloped in their self-centered identity that they have not been willing to give it up. And thus even some of these seemingly innocent and benign beings have gone to the second death when their time ran out.
So you see, my beloved, you cannot look at this in a black-and-white way and say that only fallen beings go to the second death. For truly, you could also say that anyone who has a separate sense of identity is a fallen being. And so if that being is not willing to give up the fallen identity, the separate identity, well then it will eventually go to the second death when its time runs out.
