Question: This question is about the use of microwave ovens. Some believe that the use of microwave ovens is harmful to health because the structure of cooked or heated food in it is broken down. Is this really the case and was this technology released by Saint Germain?
Answer from the Ascended Master Mother Mary through Kim Michaels. This answer was given at a conference in Korea in 2019.
Well, the technology behind microwave ovens (the microwaves) was released by Saint Germain because it’s part of the ongoing growth in awareness of many different forms of energy waves. But I will say it this way, I would not recommend that ascended masters students use microwave ovens on a regular basis. It is not necessarily that this is so harmful, that it will deteriorate your health in the short term. But it is also that the heat from a microwave oven has an internal effect on the food that does actually diminish not only its nutritional value, but also the more subtle energies of the food. You have in the eastern philosophy, the concept of chi or the concept of prana, which is considered a subtle energy beyond the physical that is also part of the food. And you, of course have yogic exercises for breathing prana in and taking-in prana. There are many subtle energies in the food that are beyond what people today see as physical nutrition. I know that there are studies that have been done at the physical level by materialistic scientists that say that there is no harmful effect of microwaving food, but there is a more subtle effect, in the sense that it deprives the food of these more subtle energies. So even if there is not a physical effect of doing this, there is a more subtle effect that you should be aware of as a spiritual person. There is however, a more psychological aspect of this. If you look at the use of microwave ovens throughout the world, you will see that, it is mostly used by people who feel that they are very, very busy, and who therefore don’t have time to cook in a regular way. So what do they do? They are in a hurry to get a meal. What kind of meal is easy to do in the microwave? Well, a pre-made meal that was made on some factory and packaged in a sealed package, which you then throw into the microwave, heat up, and eat. It’s clear that this kind of food does not have the same quality, the same nutritional value, as food you cook yourself, and that you take more time to cook. So, it’s clear that from a spiritual perspective, it is better to eat traditionally cooked food than to eat food that is cooked or reheated in a microwave oven. Again, I’m not saying you should never do it, you don’t need to be fanatical about it. But I do not recommend using it on a regular basis. Certainly, not as your main tool for cooking food.
